Almighty God, the Alpha and the Omega; the Beginning and the Ending; the One who was, the One who is and the One who is to come; the Unchangeable Changer – We Worship You,
We Thank You for what You did Last Year (DMC NOTES: The Inaugural RCCG Royal Convention 2022) – Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
We Thank You for Journey Mercies and we Thank You that all will be well with us – Please, accept our Thanksgiving in Jesus Name.
It is unto You that Your Children has gathered – Father, Please meet all their Needs, Solve all their Problems and let all be well in their Domains.
By the time they will be going back home Lord, let them go back home rejoicing.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
I am going to sit down so that this can be like a Family Meeting and not Somebody Preaching to another.
I want to say: Welcome to our Royal Fathers and Welcome to our Royal Queens – I want you to know that God has accepted your Songs of Praise (Amen).
And in our various Palaces, things of Singing for Joy will never cease there – Amen.
You are all Welcome in Jesus Name – Amen!
We are fully aware that you are very busy People and that you have left your Domains to come here – We will do our very best to make sure that you don’t regret your coming.
May I decree in the Name that is above every other name, that from now on in your Kingdoms, there will always be shout of Joy – Amen!
I am not sure that they have told you that the reason we are interpreting is that we have Royal Fathers from another Nation who are gathering with us this Year (2023) – And they speak French and Yoruba.
And so since we don’t have an Interpreter to interpret into French, that is why we are Interpreting to Yoruba.
Let us go straight to the Word of God – Matthew 6: 9-13:
- After this manner therefore Pray ye: Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.
- Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in Earth, as it is in Heaven.
- Give us this day our Daily bread.
- And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our Debtors.
- And lead us not into Temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, for ever. Amen.
The Theme for our Convention (The RCCG Royal Father Convention 2023) this Year (2023) is: “THE KINGDOM, THE POWER AND THE GLORY”.
Before I Proceed further, I think we will need to give Special Glory to God because He has a “Very Special” Love for the Royal Fathers.
When the idea of the Royal Father’s Gathering together came, I must confess to you that I tried to dodge it.
I told the Almighty God that I believed that I am doing enough already – He has blessed the work of my hand, He has Enlarged the Coast of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); as we are in more than 190 Nations of the world.
If I were to go round visiting each Nation for one week each; it will take more than 4 years to go round.
Added to that, we have all manners of Programs here in Nigeria – The Holy Ghost Service, Divine Encounter, Shiloh Hour et cetera et cetera.
Then we have The RCCG International Youth Convention, Holy Ghost Congress, Annual Convention.
I said Father, if you don’t mind, I think that we have done quite a bit. And the Royal Fathers are invited to all of these Programs.
But the Lord told me – The Problems of the Royal Fathers are different from the Problems of Ordinary People. And we will speak a bit about that during the Day 2 of this Convention (Watch Out for the Comprehensive Full Text of this Message Only on the Label of DMC).
But then He said that many of them will love to give their lives to Jesus Christ; that when you give the Altar Calls in the Annual Convention for Example, where there were at least more than one Million People Present; some of them want to come but they don’t want to come because of the crowd.
But He said that if they are together, among themselves, among their Peers; there will be no need to hesitate.
So He (God) insisted that we bring you (Royal Fathers) together.
I thought that it was going to be one time only – That is when we met Last Year (2022) – I thought: Lord, we have done what you asked us to do.
But now, it looks as if it is going to become a Yearly Event.

And while we were still Thanking God for what He did in Nigeria; another Nation heard about it and said we need that too.
So, we don’t know where this Meeting is going to grow into – I won’t be surprised if one day Queens and Kings from all over the world came to your Meeting – Amen!
Let us look at our Theme – Three (3) important words here: Kingdom, Power and Glory.
Let Us explain these three (3) words and see how they affect us as Royal Father:
- KINGDOM
Kingdom is a combination of 2 words – King and Domain.
I. The King automatically is a Ruler or the Controller.
II. Domain is the area of Influence of the King.
That is why when we mention the Name of a King, we say: King “So, So, So” of “So, So, So” Place.
In Exodus 1:8; the Bible tells us that a New King arose in Egypt.
… That King has Control over Egypt.
So, when we talk about Kingdom, we are talking about a King over a Particular Domain.
- POWER.
When we talk about Power, Power means the ability to get things done just by speaking.
Oh, a lot of People has the ability to get things done by Force of their Strength; but a King get things done simply by saying: I want this done.
Ecclesiastes 8:4 says: Where the word of a King is, there is Power and Nobody can say to him what are you doing.
That is why in Yorubaland, the King is called “KABIYESI” – That is who can ask you what you have done?
… It has its root in the Word of God!
- GLORY.
Glory is the opposite of Shame.
Proverbs 3:35 tells us that the Wise shall inherit Glory but Shame shall be the Promotion of the Fools.
Just as the Wise is the opposite of the Fool; Glory is the opposite of Shame.
And we know what causes Shame – Failure, Disease, Poverty.
All those things that can cause Shame, in the Name that is above every other names; they will disappear from your Domain – Amen
Now, every King has a King – There is a King that is called “The King of Kings”.
Revelation 19: 11-16, was talking about a King whose Name is “King of Kings”.
This “King of Kings” has a Domain that is Superior to all Dimains.
For Example, all of us who are Traditional Rulers; we have a Domain but there is this King who say in Psalms 24:1 – He said that the Earth is the Lord’s and the Fullness thereof.
… The whole Earth belongs to Him!
And so, your Domain is a fraction of His Own Domain.
The only reason that the Governor can say that I have Control over Traditional Rulers is because his Domain is a whole State and all other Towns are under or Part of his General Domain.
When we talk of Power; it is written in Psalms 62:11 – That God has Spoken once, twice have I heard this, that Power belongs to God.
Romans 13:1 says that there is no Power except that which is given by God.
In other words, the Power you Exercised as a Traditional Ruler, you got it from God.
When we talk about Glory, anybody coming in here will see a very Glorious Settings – All the Traditional Rulers, you look Glorious and anybody looking at you will see Glory.
But the Bible says in Psalms 24: 7-10; that this “King of Kings” is also called “The King of Glory” – The Ultimate Glory belongs to Him.
So, when our Domain – Which is a Small Part of the Domain of the “King of Kings”; we have Power given to us by the One who said: Power is Mine.
We have Glory because the One who is the “King of Glory” decided to share His Glory.
Now, every Kingdom has a King and every King is there under the Control of the “King of Kings”.
For Example:
- In the Kingdom of animals, the King is the Lion.
The Lion doesn’t run from anybody – Anyone who wants trouble, troubles the Lion.
But the Lion is under the Control of the “King of Kings”.
For Example:
I. In Daniel 6: 1-23 – When they threw Daniel into the Den of Lions; the Lions were hungry.
When they saw Daniel coming, they were happy and they thought food had come because the One who made them, made them to eat meat.
But the “Kimg of Kings” told the Lions – Don’t touch this one.
So, Daniel spent a whole Night in the Den of Lions and the Lions were just Playing with him.
He came out the following Morning without a scratch because the King of Lions told the Lions, shut your mouth.
I have Good News for all my fathers and mothers who are gathered here or reading now on the Label of DMC – If any of you happened to be in the Den of Lions right now; you are coming out without a scratch (Amen).
II. But then in another situation in 1 Kings 13: 1-24 – God sent a Prophet on an errand and the Prophet finished the job but he disobeyed a Section of it.
God told the Lion – Go and kill that boy but don’t eat him as he is not for food but for Show.
The Lion killed the Prophet and stood by his dead body.
… God wanted to show that He is the King of all Lions!
III, And then, when you now come to Daniel 6:24 – The King commanded that all those who conspired to put Daniel in the Den of Lion should be brought; with their wives and children.
And then said: You now go to the Den of Lions and find out for us maybe all the Lions are gone.
The Bible tells us that the Lions were so hungry – When they saw these ones coming, they asked the “King of Kings”: Are these Your Children too? Are we to leave them too?
God said, No; these ones they are your food.
The Bible said that before they got to the Ground, the Lions finished them.
Permit me to make a Prayer Point – All those who are Plotting your downfall; the Lions will finish them (Amen).
2, In the Kingdom of Fish, there is a Particular fish called the Whales.
If you have watched Animal Kingdom on Television: you will know how a Whale can be.
In Jonah Chapter 1, God sent a Prophet on an errand, he tried to run away from God and then he was thrown into the sea.
And God told the Whale – Swallowed him, but don’t digest him. I’m putting him in your belly for a Season until he will come to his senses. And the Whale obeyed.
When the Prophet repented inside the belly of the fish; God told the Whale – Now go and vomit him. Don’t vomit him in the sea because he doesn’t know how to swim – Take him to the Beach because I have not finished with him yet.
I have Good News for Someone here or reading now on the Label of DMC – Some People think that God had finished with you; they are in for a Surprise (Amen).
- When we talk about Elements – The Earth, Waters, Air and Fire; all of these are Controlled by the “King of Kings”.
I. He is the King over the Earth,
In Numbers 16: 1-33 – Some People Plotted against a Servant of God called Moses.
When God wanted to deal with them, He just told the Ground to open its mouth and swallow these Enemies.
And the Earth says: Yes Lord. It opened its mouth and these Troublemakers descended and the Earth closed its mouth again – Simply to show that God is the Controller of the Earth.
I’m talking to you under the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit and I want you to Please Pay attention to every words because I believed that God brought you here this time or as you read now on the Label of DMC that whatever is in your body – Every Sicknesss, every Disease,, everything that is not allowing your Joy to be Full. Before you leave this Ground (DMC NOTES: “Ground” referring to The Redemption City of of God); the Ground will open its mouth and swallow them all – Amen!
II. In Marks 4: 35-41 – The Bible tells us that there was a Storm in the boat. And they woke up Jesus Christ and He spoke a Word and the Storm was Stilled. And the People said: What manner of Man is this that the Wind and the Sea obeyed Him?
In the Name of the One who arranged this Meeting – Every Storms in your Domain is going to cease tonight – Amen!
I was having a discussion with a Traditional Ruler not too long ago and he was telling me the kind of Storms blowing in his Domain.
When some People will go to another Man’s farm and cut down Valuable Trees. And if the farmer complains, they will show him a Pillow and then a Gun and asked him to choose one.
Choose the Pillow so that you can help us to carry your Property to our home or choose the Gun so that we finish you here.
I mean you know the Kind of thing going round in many Domains!
I know of a Traditional Ruler – Some People came from another Place to dig Gold in his Domain. And they said that we noticed that there is Gold underneath where you have built your Palace.
So we love you, we ask you to leave Town because we want to dig for Gold under your Palace.
What will you call that if not a Storm?
When Total Strangers come and chase out the King out of his Domain.
But I decree in the Name of the One who called me – Every Terrorists in your Domain, the Ground will swallow them – Amen
The kind of Problems that you have that when you even send for the Police, they won’t come – There is Someone who is called the Lord of Hosts, the King of Glory; He will finish them for you (Amen)!
III. If you read Daniel 3: 1-30 – It tells you the Story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They threw them into the Fire but the Fire didn’t burn them. It was the People who threw them into the Fire that the Fire Consumed.
Why? Because the Fire obeyed the “King of Kings”.
You don’t have to tell me – I have enough experience to know that a lot of Fire are burning under those beautiful dresses of yours.
I know! But by the Grace of God, God has brought me in Contact with the High and Mighty – I have had Contacts with Head of States.
I had visited an Head of State in Africa and they said that I can only spend 15 Minutes Maximum with him.
But the President did not allowed me to moved until after 4 Hours – He said that I have heard about you; I have Problems that I can’t share with anyone and I don’t know when I will see you again.
And he began to narrate some of the Problems – When your father son Plots a coup against you and they caught him red-handed. You Sentenced him to Death, put him in Prison.
And you are the President – You have the Powers to Pardon him.
- if you Pardon him, everybody will say that you are Supporting evil.
- If you kill him, they will say that you have killed your father’s son.
Pastor, how do I Solve this?
As we all know very well – Uneasy lies the Head that wears the Crown!
But there is a God, who can Solve all Problems – He is the “King of Kings” and He is the One I’m talking to you about!
- When we talk about the “King of Kings”; He is the King of Insects,
If you don’t believed me, all you need to do is to read Exodus Chapter 8 alone,
You will discovered that when God decided to deal with Pharaoh; He fought him with frogs that the King couldn’t Sleep on his bed because frogs were everywhere.
They put his food on the table; by the time he opened the dish, frogs will jump in.
He (God) fought him (Pharaoh) with Lice, He fought him with flies – We are talking about the “King of Kings”.
- And when we now come to the Kingdom of Darkness – The Head of all the Kingdom and Officers in the Kingdom of Darkness, is Satan himself.
But he (Satan) too has a King – A King that he must Submit to.
When you read the Book of Judges Chapters 1 and 2; you will discovered that the devil cannot do anything without the Permission of God.
When God gives him Permission to do anything, God will tell him that this is how far that you can go.
Because one of the Biggest Problems of Kings are the Forces of Darkness.
Oh, this is what we have been doing from the beginning of the Town – It is our Tradition and you go against it, we will fight you.
I have Good News for you – There is a God who can deal with even the devil himself!
And I’m Praying for you that as you are going; the Light of God will Shine on your Domain – Amen!
An incident happened not too far from here in Ijebu Igbo about 20 years thereabout ago (DMC NOTES: Ijebu Igbo is a Town in Ogun State Nigeria).
The Kabiyesi (King) gave his Life to Jesus Christ and there was a little misunderstanding and the Forces of Darkness decided to deal with our Pastor there because they said that he was the one backing the Kabiyesi (King). So, they sent their Warrior Head (Called in Yoruba “Oluawo”) to come into the Church as Service was going on.
Their Leader came in, but as he entered he fell down. He got up and said: What kind of nonsense is this?
He began to go forward towards the Altar and he fell down again.
When he got up the second time, he ran out of the Church because he encountered Someone that “Ordinary Eye” may not see.
I decree today – Every Representatives of Forces of Darkness in your Domain will fall down and Worship your God – Amen!
- When we now come to the Kings among Human Beings, the Bible says in Proverbs 21:1 – It said that the King’s Heart is in the Hand of the Lord and He can turn it like Rivers of water.
There is no King so Powerful that he doesn’t Sleep.
And if you cannot Control your Sleep, then you cannot Control your Dreams.
So, If God wants to talk to you and you are not ready to listen when you are awake; then He can meet you in your Sleep!
For Example:
I. In Genesis 41: 1-44 – He gave Pharaoh two (2) Dreams in one Night.
When he woke up, as high as Pharaoh was, he was troubled.
At the end of the Day, the Dreams were used to bring Somebody out of Prison whose name was Joseph and brought him to the Level of Second in Command in the Land of Egypt.
… Two (2) Dreams from the King of Kings, from the One who can Control your Sleep and your Dreams; can lead to the Promotion of Somebody from the Prison on to the Throne.
II. In Daniel 2: 1-end – The King of Kings wanted to Promote some People who are Slaves and He gave the King a Dream and the King woke up and forgot the Dream.
He knew that it was a “Terrible Dream” but he has forgotten it.
So, he called all the Magicians together – Tell me my Dreams, and tell me the Interpretations.
And all the Magicians said: Tell us the Dream and we will tell you the Interpretations.
The King said: I have caught you now. If I tell you my Dream, you will just tell me any kind of Interpretation. If you are as Great as you claimed to be, tell me my Dream and tell me the Interpretations. Or else, I will kill you.
You know, occasionally when God wants to Prove that His Servant is truly from Him; that the Miracles happening are not arranged. He will do something that will show everybody that only God can do this.
I’m Praying for you that before this Convention is over; God will do something in your Life that will convince you that God is the One who asked you to come!
We held a Holy Ghost Service in Ibadan (DMC NOTES: “Ibadan” is Capital City of Oyo State) several years ago at the Stadium.
The Stadium was full, People were outside, we had all manners of Miracles and we were about to go when God said – There is a woman here, under her armpit instead of hair, there are feathers.
When I heard that, I know that when God says that, it is so. But I said: Lord, who is going to come out?
I said: Daddy, we have done very well; let’s go home. I know that if you say it is true then it is true. But Please let us go home,
And God said: Do you want her to die with her Problem? I said No. The worst they can say is to call me a False Prophet.
So, I made the Announcement and a woman came forward – Well dressed and you will never think such a woman will have such a Problem but God Solved it.
Whatever Problem(s) that you are covering under your beautiful dresses – Problems that you can’t even share with anyone. Before tomorrow Morning, my God will solve the Problems – Amen!
When this “King of Kings” wants to move; He can take away your Sleep!
I know that your bed is comfortable, your Palace is fully Air-conditioned – But what if there was no Sleep?
Because if you read Esther 6: 1-end – When God wants to Perform a Miracle for a whole Nation; He made sure that the King that wanted to destroy the Nation cannot Sleep until the Problem was solved.
May I Pray for you – Your Royal Majesties; anyone that God wants to use to help your Domain and are trying to hinder it; they won’t be able to Sleep until they come and to do what God wants them to do (Amen).
Let me Close here tonight and we will continue here on Day 2:
Uneasy lies the Head that wears the Crown.
But there is Someone who called a “Burden Bearer”.
And He brought you here this Weekend so that you can lay down your Burden at His Feet!
He makes a Promise in Matthew 11: 28-30 – He said: Come unto me all ye that Labour and are heavy ladened and I will give you rest.
There is Somebody who can carry all your Burdens for you
All your Burdens – Your Individual Problems, and the Problems of your Domains. He can take care of them all.
But you will need to come to Him first – You come and Surrender to Him first. He will take over from there.
Some of you Probably have heard my Testimony before.
I was a Young Man and I was doing very well in Life – Before I was 30 years Old, I had already built a house. I was a Lecturer at the University and I was doing very well.
And then I have a Problem that all my Mathematics cannot solve and that the Doctiors cannot handle. That was when Somebody invited me to Jesus Christ.
When I got to the Church at Ebute Metta (DMC NOTES: “Ebute Metta” is the Location of The RCCG National Headquarters Parish) – A Church made of Bamboo. If I go to Church at all, I go to Cathedrals.
And when I got inside there, I met a lot of Semi illiterates and they were telling me – Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ and say bye bye to sin.
I looked at them – What is wrong with these People? It is not your fault, it is my Problems that brought me here. What do they know? What is called sin?
But I looked at their faces – They all have Peace. You could see something about them that is different that with all my Degrees, I didn’t have what they have.
One day, it just occurred to me – What is wrong with you? You say you have PhD in Mathematics and yet you didn’t have a sense?
They are not asking you to Submit to Church? They are asking you to Submit to your Maker and He will carry away all your Problems.
I decided that I will Surrender – And I Surrendered my Life to Jesus Christ. He took over and everything began to Change.
Look at me today!
ALTAR CALL
Please Beloveth Royal Fathers and Mothers, Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ.
… Surrender to the King of Kings, Surrender to the Burden Bearer.
If you have never Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ, Please come and do so tonight.
You are among your Peers and there is Nothing to be ashamed in Submitting to Jesus Christ.
It takes a Man to say: It is my Life, it is none of your business.
And then, there might be one (1) or two (2) of us who Surrendered once – We have tasted Him, we saw how Sweet God is but certain situations caused us to backslide.
But I want you to return to Him – You want to have that Relationship again. Please come!
I will count from one (1) to seven (7) – If you want me to Pray for your Salvation or your Restoration; Please begin to come as I begin to count now!
The Choice is yours!
Please, those of you who has come forward, kindly call on Jesus Christ now – Tell Him that you have come to Surrender your Life to Him.
Ask Him to have Mercy on you, save your Soul and become the “King of Kings”, Lord of Lords in every facets of your Life.
Tell Him that you will serve Him from now on; ask Him to forgive all your sins and give you a Brand New Beginning.
And the rest of us who are already sure of your Salvation – Please Stretch your hands towards your Brothers and Sisters and Pray for them, intercede for them. That the One who save your Soul will save their own Souls also.
Please Pray for them!
Thank You Father.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
PRAYER FOR SALVATION
My Father and my God, I want to Thank You for Your Goodness and Your Mercy.
Thank You for bringing these Your People forward.
Remember Your Promise that whosoever will come unto You, You will no Wise cast out.
Please forgive these Your Children, let Your Blood wash away all their sins, save their Souls today, write their names in the Book of Life.
Anytime they call on You from now on, Please answer them by Fire.
And even in their Kingdom, let the world know that there is a Change now.
Thank You Almighty God.

May, I kindly request that we Stand?
CLOSING PRAYER
Almighty God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords; I Thank You for today (DAY 1 of The RCCG Royal Father Convention 2023) and I’m Thanking You in Advance for what You will do on Day 2.
Your Words says Father that Weeping may endure for the Night but Joy comes in the Morning.
By tomorrow Morning, let all these Your Children sing a New Song.
This very Night, visit them all, so that even by tomorrow, they will all have Testimonies.
Thank You my Father and my God.
And if You Return before tomorrow Morning, Please don’t leave us behind.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
