*OPENING PRAYER*

Almighty God, Father of all fathers; King of all Kings, Lord of all Lords – We Worship You.

We Thank You for a New Day – Thank You that something New is happening in Ede today.

Thank You for this Gathering that is the first of its kind here in Ede – Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Father, we Thank You for everything that You have done in Redeemer’s University (RUN) up till now; we Thank You for everything that You have done in Ede up till now and we Thank You Lord God Almighty for a New Beginning – Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Tonight in Your Own Miraculous Way, in the lives of everyone of us, Perform a New Miracle, do something that only You can do, Solve all the Problems that may be here today and don’t let anybody leave here today without a Testimony.

Father, Please Glorify Your Name – Bless Redeemer’s University, bless Ede Kingdom, bless the Kingdoms of all the Traditional Rulers who are here, bless Osun State. Father, bless our Governor (DMC NOTES: His Excellency Ademola Jackson Adeleke, The Executive Governor of  Osun State) and Lord God Almighty, bless Nigeria.

At the end of it all, let Your Name be Glorified.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

And then, I want you to  shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and tell them that God is about to surprise you now – Amen!

And then, you may Please be seated – God Bless You!

*I am Practically overwhelmed with Joy that at long last, God has made today Possible – It is the first of its type.*

*The Vision for the Redeemer’s University came forty two (42) years ago (DMC Note: In Year 1982) – And it came Miraculously!*

It came when I was Praying as to where we will hold the next Congress – In those days, we took the Congress round and we will call it: “Christ Redeemer’s Congress”.

We have done it in Oshogbo, Ibadan, Ile Ife and all the towns around and then I was Praying: Lord, where next do we go? And God said that you go to Ede.

I said: Yes Lord, but Almighty God we have done it in neighbouring towns of Ede. If anybody want to be Born Again in Ede; they should have come to any of the Neighbouring Towns nearby. But God spoke to me directly and said that you are going to Ede.

And then, we came to Ede and we had a Wonderful Time.

*Because the devil saw what was coming and he fought us in every way Possible.*

When we started the Program, Oh the Rain that fell was so massive that the Stage Collapsed when the Choir was Ministering and so we used a Tipper as a Stage.

We looked up to the trees that was nearby and the Top was full of Goats – Goats came to the Crusade Ground.

But then, we asked the Kabiyesi (Meaning King) to speak because he came – We had done “Courtesy Visit” and not expecting him to come but he came.

And because he came, we say Kabiyesi (King); maybe you want to say a word or two to your People.

He took the Microphone and he began to quote the Bible – And he said: Silver or Gold have I none, but I have Land. Ask for Land and I will give you.

We left, we got home and then we said Kabiyesi (King) said that we should  ask for Land o.

*I’m telling you this Story so that you will have a “Rough Idea” about what God is about to do in your Life tonight!*

Incidentally, during our visit to Ede at that time; in three (3) days, we built a Church. Don’t ask me how? It is not ” Human Engineering” but “Divine Engineering”.

We got home and we met – Kabiyesi (King) said that we should ask for Land; so how much Land should we ask for?

And Somebody said: Well, since he had decided to be so Generous, let us ask for five (5) Acres.

And Somebody said: No, you don’t get this kind of opportunity everyday; let us ask for twenty (20) Acres.

Another fellow said: Let’s go a little further,

*Finally, I turned to the Almighty God who said “Go” and I asked Him that how many Acres should we ask for?*

*The Almighty God said: Don’t ask for Acres, ask for Hectares. And God said that we should ask for five hundred (500) Hectares.*

*And so we wrote – We thought the Kabiyesi (King) will say: What kind of People are you? Get away from my sight!*

*But the Kabiyesi (King) got the Letter, summoned the Chiefs; they read the Letter and they sent for me.*

*And Kabiyesi (King) said: Are you sure that is all you need?*

*In the same Name that is above every other names, everything that you will ask God for, God will give you more than you can ask for – Amen!*

*That is why Ede Land is already blessed – Because it is a Kingdom Chosen by God. He is the One who said: “Go There” and He Placed in Charge Someone who was willing to work with God all the way!*

*There is no way you can Trade with God and be a Loser!*

*I decree in the Name that is above every other names:*

Everytime you hear of Ede, it will be Good News – Amen.

And everytime you hear concerning “The Redeemer’s University”; it will be Good News – Amen!

*DMC NOTES: Ede is traditionally said to have been founded about 1500 by Timi Agbale, a Hunter and Warlord sent by Alaafin (Alafin; “King”) Kori of Old Oyo (Katunga), Capital of the Oyo Empire, to establish a Settlement to Protect the Oyo Caravan route to Benin (127 Miles [204 km] to the Southeast). HRM Oba Tijani Oladokun Ajagbe Oyewusi (Agbonran III) (Who reigned from 1976-2008) as the twelfth (12th) Timi of the Present-Day Ede and coronated in May 1976 in a Coronation Ceremony that lasted a whole year was the King of Ede on the Throne as at that time in 1982 they gave the Land to The RCCG. The Current Timi of Ede is HRM Oba Muniru Adesola Lawal Laminisa.*

2. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the Vision, and make it Plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3. For the Vision is yet for an Appointed Time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

*The Vision of God for Redeemer’s University is that this University will become one of the Greatest University in the whole world.*

That when we are talking of Havard University (DMC NOTES: Situated in Massachusetts, USA); Yale University (DMC NOTES: Situated in New Haven Connector, USA); University of Pristine (DMC NOTES: Situated in Pristina Kosovo – Kosovo is Self-Declared Independent Country in Balkans Region of Europe); London University (DMC NOTES: Situated in London, United Kingdom); University of Cambridge (DMC NOTES: Situated in Cambridge England); University of Oxford (DMC NOTES: Situated in Oxford City Centre, South East England) – They will also be talking of “The Redeemer’s University”.

*It may sound “Big and Far-fetched” to us but by now you should know a little bit of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).*

*We have something that is known about us all over the world – We may start small, but we never end small.*

So, we are still small.

*But when you considered the fact that they (RCCG) just started with twelve (12) Members and today we are now in over one hundred and ninety (190) Nations of the world; then you will know that one day – “The Redeemer’s University” (RUN) will be counted among the first ten (10) in the whole world (Amen).*

*That is why the Motto for The Redeemer’s University is: “RUNNING WITH A VISION”.*

*And I’m going to talk to you very briefly on “VISION”.*

Proverbs 29:18 – Where there is no Vision, the People Perish: but he that keepeth the Law, happy is he.

*… So we have a Vision and there is no way we can Perish!*

*You see, Man three (3) Pairs of Eyes:*

*1. PHYSICAL EYES*

These are the two (2) eyes that you can see with – Which is used in seeing objects.

And according to Matthew 6: 22-23; the Bible says that the eyes is the Light of the body.

The Physical Eyes are so important to God that Jesus never left the Blind Man blind – Anytime He comes across a Blind Man, He opened his eyes.

I. In Mark 10: 46-52; in the case of Bartimaeus; He sent His Words and His Words brought two Brand New Eyes.

II. In the case of the Man in John 9: 1-7; He released His Anointing into “Ordinary Mud” and from that Mud He created two (2) Brand New Eyes.

III. In Mark 8: 22-26; He touched a Man who was blind twice.

The first time that He touched him, the Man said that I can see Men like trees. 

He sad that is not Good enough and so He touched him the Second Time.

Go through the Scriptures, you will discovered that, that is the only Time that Jesus touched anybody twice to show you the importance of the Physical Eyes.

*So, I’m decreeing tonight in the Name of the One who sent me – All of you with Physical Eyes Problems, my God will touch you (Amen).*

*2. Then He has a Pair of “MENTAL EYES”.*

*The Mental Eyes are called “The Eyes of Understanding”*

Ephesians 1:18; Paul was Praying for The Ephesians and said: I Pray that your Eyes of Understanding be enlightened.

That is another way of saying that I Pray that your Eyes of Understanding be Opened.

*You know when Somebody is trying to explain something to you and finally you get it, what is it that you say: “I See” – It means that my Eyes of Understanding has been opened.*

But the Eyes of Understanding are so important that according to Deuteronomy 1:13; that is what you need if you are ever going to become a Leader – Your Eyes of Understanding must be fully opened otherwise you won’t be a Leader.

That is what made the difference between Somebody who is highly Educated and Somebody who is an illiterate.

That is why you don’t pick Somebody who didn’t go to School and decide to make him maybe the Chairman of a Bank.

Way back in 1963, I was a Tutor at Ondo Boys High School. And in those days, we have several Lessons, each one occupied a Period – Forty (40) Periods in the Week. And I was made to teach thirty six (36) of those Periods.

And then, there was this Man who came from the University – A Young Graduate and he was given twenty three (23) Periods to teach and he complained that they are overstretching him.

My Salary was about fifteen Pounds a Month and his Salary was sixty (60) Pounds in a Month and I wasn’t complaining.

I went to him and said: What are you talking about? He said listen my friend, I am being Paid for what I learnt. Your understanding is small because you have School-Sat but I am a Graduate. They are not Paying me for the number of Times I worked but they are Paying for what is in my Brain.

*I Pray for you today or as you read now on the Label of DMC; may the Almighty God open your Eyes of Understanding – Amen!*

That is why Solomon asked God for Wisdom and Understanding – He knew that your Mental Eyes must be opened for you to be a Good Leader!

*3. The Third Pair of Eyes and Probably the most Important are “THE SPIRITUAL EYES”.*

*It gives you the Ability to see the Invincible and it gives you the Ability to see the Future!*

*That is actually what we call “VISION”.*

The Almighty God was speaking to Abraham one Night – Abraham, don’t worry, you will be alright. You will have many children.

Abraham said: I am dying, barren and you are talking of me becoming “The father of many Nations”.

God said: Alright, come out and let me show you something. 

Look up into the Sky – Can you count the number of Stars? He said No.

The Almighty God said, so shall your children be. 

And the Bible says that Abraham believed God.

Today, when you are counting the children of Abraham, it is impossible to count them all because Christians are children of Abraham, Muslims are children of Abraham. 

And there are many children of Abraham all over the world because he saw a Vision – He looked up to Heaven and he saw Stars that cannot be counted.

*I’m Praying for Someone here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC that God will open your Spiritual Eyes – Amen!*

*When we talk about Spiritual Eyes:*

I. When you look at 2 Kings 2: 9-15; when Elijah was about to be taken away and he asked Elisha what do you want? And Elisha said that I want a Double Portion of your Spirit.

Elijah said to Elisha that there is only one Condition to get what you want – If you can see me when I am being taken away from you, you will get what you wanted.

What he was actually saying is – If you will be able to see the Invincible because the One who is coming to take me away is not coming like an “Ordinary Man”.

If your Spiritual Eyes can be opened, then that which you have asked for; you will get it.

That’s why when the Chariots of Fire came, an “Ordinary Eyes” don’t see Chariots of Fire.

*”Ordinary Eyes” cannot see what I’m seeing here for Example because believe it or not, this Place is Overflowing with Angels.*

Elisha cried and said: My father, my father – He was simply saying: “I see you”.

I see the Army of Israel, I see the Chariots of Fire, I cam see the Horsemem thereof.

Then God said that his Spiritual Eyes were opened and he can have what he wants.

*Is there anybody here who does not want to die Unknown? Is there anyone here tonight who wants to be Great? Is there anyone here tonight who wants to be one of the Greatest People ever in the world?*

*May God open your Spiritual Eyes – Amen!*

II. Now, you will remember the Story in 2 Kings 6: 8-17.

An Army came to arrest Elisha and his Servants saw the Army, ran inside to go and tell his Master: Hey, we are in trouble; we are surrounded by an Army. And Elisha just kept on rocking on his chair unbothered.

The boy was agitated and he (Elisha) said, take it easy; those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

The boy said my Master, you don’t see what I’m seeing – Whichever way I count, there are only two (2) of us.

So Elisha Prayed and said God should open his eyes.

The boy wasn’t blind Physically, he could see the Army. But when God opened his eyes and he saw the Army of God and then he could go outward and say: You People want to fight, come on!

*I have Good News for The Redeemer’s University, I have Good News for Ede Kingdom – The Army of the Lord is visiting you tonight (Amen).*

Now, God made a Promise in Joel 2:28 – He said that in the Last Days when He releases His Holy Spirit, He said the Old Men will be dreaming Dreams, but the Young ones (The boys and girls) will be seeing Visions. 

*In the Life of one Particular Person, that Promise will be fulfilled tonight – Amen*

*Now, why did I read that Bible Text that I read to you – When God has given you a Vision, He expects you to run with it. He expects you to act on what He has shown you!*

*Let me give you two (2) Examples quickly:*

EXAMPLE 1: When you read Numbers Chapters 13 and 14 – You know that Moses sent 12 Spies to go and search the Promise Land and bring him a Report.

The 12 came back and they came along with the Fruits of the Land – Giant Grapes.

10 of them said that we saw the Land – Oh, look at the Fruits but there are Giants in the Land. It is the Land that eats up the inhabitants thereof.

Caleb and Joshua who had their own Mental Eyes opened said: What are they talking about? We saw what you saw with our Physical Eyes but with our Eyes of Understanding, we can see straightaway that if this Land is the Land that will eat up its inhabitants, how come there are Giants or even People there?

But they also said that our Spiritual Eyes also has been opened – We know that we can take the Land but it is going to take God. 

That is: God must support us.

*It takes Eyes of Understanding to see that what I have just said about The Redeemer’s University becoming one of the ten (10) Greatest University in the whole world.*

*It cannot only happen – Not just only because we belong to The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) but our Spiritual Eyes must opened and that it will take God!*

*People keep on asking – How is it that The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is so Successful all over the world?*

I. Whether you believed it or not, we are in Nations where even no Christians are allowed.

II. We are in Nations for Example that when you want to talk about “The Blood of Jesus”; you have to say “BOJ”.

III. We are in Nations that Christians are not supposed to be at all but we are Baptising People in the Bathroom.

IV. We are in Nations where they don’t want to see Christians Gathering but we are holding Bible Study on Open Fields facing the house of the Emir.

… It takes God!

V. And whether you believed it or not, Miracles are happening that even some Emirs are come quietly at Night saying that we know you serve a God that is Mighty.

Caleb and Joshua said: We can go ahead to Possess the Land – We have a Vision and it can be done.

And the Bible said while others Perished, those two (2) made it.

*Today, the Redeemer’s University may appear small – You may go through our Campus and not see all the Giant Buildings that we have already lined up. But I can assure you that as the Lord lives, while I am stil alive; Redeemer’s University will be one of the ten (10) Best in the world – Amen!*

EXAMPLE 2: But since there are so many of us who are Young, maybe I will use the Example of David in 1 Samuel Chapter 17.

And you can see three (3) Pairs of Eyes in the Young Man:

I. Physical Eyes – David saw Goliath, he saw the Giant.

The Man was so Big that Nobody could Pretend not seeing him.

II. So David saw him but his Eyes of Understanding was opened.

– He saw that this is a Giant opportunity to become the In-Law of the Kimg.

– This is a Giant opportunity for my family never to Pay Tax in the Land.

Because he asked: What will be the Rewards. 

In his Eyes of Understanding, he saw that with this Man, with his head as big as this; I can’t miss him. When I sent my stones going, his head is so big.

III. But then when he was talking to the Giant, it shows that his Spiritual Eyes were opened too.

He said that I’m coming against you in the Name of the Lord – Meaning that killing you is going to take Divine Support.

*And then he did something which I want you to take Note of – The Bible said that he ran towards Goliath.*

*That is why we (The Redeemer’s University) are “Running With Our Vision”.*

We have a Vision – Physically, we are beginning to see things.

The first time that I ever came to the Campus here, it was to encourage the Faculfy Members because they were Struggling with no water, no Electricity and they were saying: What is going on here? How come they brought us from the Redemption Camp to a Place like this?

And I came to speak to them – To encourage them. To tell them about the Glory of being a Trailblazer.

Today, things are different.

*We haven’t arrived yet, but believe me honestly; we will arrive – Amen!*

*My Beloveth Children and those listening to me all over the world or reading now on the Label of DMC – You will know that this is a Very Special Light Up Crusade as I am talking to my own now!*

*The Greatest Student in the whole of Africa will come from the Redeemer’s University – Amen!*

Take my words for it!

*By now, some of you know me sufficiently that by the time I say it, you know that the One who is speaking is not me but “My Daddy”.*

*And when He speaks, it is done! How is He going to do it, leave that to Him!*

*But you can’t expect that to happen if you are Lazy!*

Several years ago in one of the Universities, the Christian Students are always failing and one day, they came to me when I went to visit them – What is going on? Why is it that those of us who are in the Fellowship are always the one failing?

I said maybe because at the time you are supposed to be Studying, you are still Singing Praises.

Well, is it not written that the Holy Spirit will help us?

I said, thank God for the Holy Spirit:

– If you failed, He will Comfort you and tell you, don’t worry, there will be another Time,

– But you need to remember that the Bible says that the Holy Spirit will remind you of things that you have learnt.

*God is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him – God does not Reward the Lazy.*

*We are going yo be the Best because we are going to be “The Most Diligent”.*

*We are going to be the Best because we are going to “Work the Hardest”.*

*We are going to be the Best because in every areas Possible, we will “Show Maximum Discipline”.*

I visited a friend of mine not too long ago – We got Born Again at the time everybody was growing with Positive Confessions. You claim it and you have it. All you need to do is just claim it and it will be yours.

So, there is this my friend who was the Leader, leading us in the Confession Period. He will wake up in the Morning and he will claim everything – I have a Brand New Car in the Name of Jesus.

5 years later, he was still trekking.

And one day, he cornered me – This thing is working for you; why is it not working for me?

I said that you wake up at 10am – At a time that I would have been busy working for 5 hours.

*My Beloveth Children, from tonight onwards; realised that you are Special Children – And I’m saying this with all Hiumility; of a Special father. But father is not Lazy.*

I am going to be 82 very soon and I’m still running up and down doing the work of God.

When People are Sleeping, I am walking about in the Night Praying.

I don’t Preach “Shallow Sermons” – If you will check now, you will know how many Bible Passages I have given you. This thing don’t come by just lying down, loiterring around or joking.

*I Pray that your Eyes of Understanding will be opened – Amen!*

*I am believing God that very soon, when it is time to Graduate, those in First Class will be more than those in Second Class – Amen!*

*I am still believing God for you that a Time will come that there will be Nobody in Third Class – Amen!*

*We will show the world – Redeemer’s University, I hope you are listening that it is Possible that everybody will come out with First Class (Amen).*

*I am Prophesying into your Future – Not only will you never failed another Examination, you will be “The Best among the Best” (Amen).*

*That is why tonight, you are going to cry to Gid for Light because the Eyes are the Light of the Bocy!*

1. When a Man’s Physical Eyes are opened; the one who has been blind will suddenly begin to see Light.

2. When a Man’s Eyes of Understanding becomes open, they will say: Ha, Light broke through.

3. When the Spiritual Eyes are opened, you can begin to see the One who is called “The Light of the world”.

That is why, when you read Mark 10: 46-52; in the Story of Bartimaeus.

When firstly Jesus said that they should go and bring him. 

You know that Bartimaeus had a Problem:

– He was sick and couldn’t see.

– He was Poor because he was a Beggar.

– He was in Bondage and held by Forces of Darkness,

– He was Lonely and on the Day he was crying to God for Mercy, everybody around him told him to shut up. He didn’t know that he has so many Enemies.

– His case was Hopeless as he was Lonely and Barren (Not Married).

When he came finally to Jesus Christ, He said: What do you want?

He asked for one Thing – Give me Light.

He could have asked for Money, or Clothes but all he asked for was Light.

*When the time comes tonight, all we will be asking for is Light – Light for my Eyes Physical, Light for my Eyes Mental and Light for my Eyes Spiritual.*

*And when God will send that Light, in less than one Month; you will see the difference – Amen!*

But for you to get that Light, you have to come to Jesus first.

You know, when Bartimaeus was crying – Jesus, thou Son of David have Mercy on me. Jesus said: Go and bring him.

It was when they brought him that he got the Light.

And Jesus is Calling you now – He said: Come!

In Matthew 11: 28-30; He said: Come unto me all ye that Labour and are Heavy ladened and I will give you rest.

He said – Come and Surrender to me the Light of the world and then my Light can Shine on you and your Problems will be over.

*ALTAR CALL*

So, if you are here tonight and you are not sure of your Salvation, I’m inviting you – Come and Stand before the Altar here so that I can Pray for the Salvation of your Soul.

The moment that you are saved, everything will Change – If any Man be in Christ, he is a New Creature; Old Things has Passed away, behold all things has become New.

So, I’m going to count from one (1) to twelve (12) and before I say twelve (12) come and Stand before me and I will Pray for your Salvation. I’m Counting now!

Now, those of you infront, you go ahead to talk to the Almighty God that I have come to Surrender my Life to You today Lord; have Mercy on me, save my Soul because I want my Eyes of Understanding to be opened, I want my Spiritual Eyes to be opened.  Lord Please save my Soul.

Let Your Bloid wash away my sin and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

And the rest of us who are sure of our Salvation, let’s Stretch our hands towards these People and Intercede for them – That the One who saved our own Souls will save their Souls also. That God will give them Genuine Salvation.

Oh, Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

*PRAYER FOR SALVATION*

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You for Your Words.

I want to Thank You for these People who has decided to come forward tonight to Surrender their lives to You.

Please remember Your Promise that whosoever will come unto You, You will no wise cast out.

They have come Father, Please receive them, have Mercy on them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins and Please Lord, write their names in the Book of Life.

Receive them into the Family of God.

And from now on, anytime they cry unto You, Please answer them by Fire and let them serve You till the End.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Everyone of you with a Mobile Phone, Please turn it on to the Light Section.

And I will ask you to Stand – You are going to Pray some Prayers and then, I will Pray for you.

*You are going to lift that Light as a Sign of Faith to connect to the Light of God:*

1. You will lift your Voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say: Father, send Your Light into my Life.

Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God.

2. You will say: Father, Thank You for Your Light, send Your Light into my Body, Spirit and Soul.

Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

3. You will say: Father, Thank You for giving me Light; Please don’t let my Light ever go out.

Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Name – Thank You for this Unique Night.

Thank You for the Salvation of Souls and Thank You for all Your Children who are Gathered here.

Please, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Father, I decree in Your Name into the lives of everybody here or reading now on the Label of DMC – Send Your Light.

For those who are Sick, send Your Light into their bodies.

For those who are Poor, my Father and my God, send Your Light to their Finances

For those who are in Bondage, let Your Light drive away Forces of Darkness.

Into the homes of all those who are here or reading now on the Label of DMC; send Your Light.

Into their Towns and Villages, send Your Light.

Into their States, send Your Light.

In Osun State, send Your Light.

In Ede Town, send Your Light.

In The Redeemer’s University (RUN), send Your Light.

And Father, I Pray that the Light of these Your Children will never go out.

Your Sun will not Set in the Afternoon, you will not die Young, the Enemies will not discovered your Secrets

It shall be Well with you and your Light will Shine forever.

In the Kingdom of God, you will not be missing.

And your Testimonies will be Mighty.

You will be the Best and the “Very Best”.
