OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God, King of Kings, Lord of Lords; the Ancient of Days, the All Sufficient God – We Worship You.

We Thank You for all what You have done for us since the Past eight (8) Years we met Last and Thank You for what You will do this Time around.

Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Your Children are gathered together to You Today: Please Almighty God, show Yourself Mighty, meet all our Needs and let our Joy Overflow.

And Lord God Almighty, even before we leave here; let the Fire fall.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: Good Evening, God bless you!

And then, you may Please be seated.

I want you to know that we are highly delighted to be here with you today.

When we came last, we didn’t know that it will take this long before we can come back.

But God has been answering your Prayers – The work has been expanding and so it is becoming a bit more difficult to visit as often as we will love to.

In more than 190 Nations of the world where the Church is now; there are many Nations that we have not visited once.

And so, those of you who has been visited several times; you should be your Brother’s Keeper and allow those who have not even received a Single visit to receive their own.

And so, Thank God for this visit – I will appeal to you to make the most of it because only God knows when we will visit again.

John 2: 1-3 – Because by the time I read those Verses, then you will know the Story I have in Mind.

John 2:1-3:

1. And the third day there was a Marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2. And both Jesus was called, and his Disciples, to the Marriage.
3. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

… I’m sure that you know the Story by now!

And I Pray that you will listen with “Anointed Ears” – Amen!

The first thing that I want to talk about is that there are three (3) Categories of Failures.

My Prayer for you is that you will never fail again- Amen.

CATEGORY 1 OF FAILURE: This is when there is no Plan to Succeed.

In Matthew 25: 24-30; the Man who buried his Talents had no Plan to Succeed.

I mean: If Somebody has no Plan to Succeed, he is bound to fail.

The certain thing about those who fail is that they always have Excuses for their Failure,

Only Failures gives Excuses!

Why are you late? – Oh, I ran into a Go-Slow.

If you don’t want to be late, you would have factored Go-Slow into your Planning.

When you read 1 Samuel 15: 1-24, you discovered that when King Saul failed God, he looked for an excuse – “I feared the People”.

But sir, you are the King – And so to say that it is because of the People that you failed is an excuse.

Oh, how come the work of God in this Part of the world has not reached the Level it should reach?

The Government – Thet made Laws and so some People left.

Successful People turn what would have been Excuses to Testimonies!

When you read Genesis 26: 1-14 – There was Famine in the Land but that was the time when Isaac became Very Great.

… What would have been an Excuse became a Testimony.

When you don’t Plan to Succeed, you fail. And only Failures gives Excuses!

CATEGORY 2 OF FAILURE: This is when the Preparation for Success is Insufficient.

Oh, you want to Succeed – You Prepared but your Preparation is not Sufficient; then you fail.

In Matthew 25: 1-13; we have a Story of the ten (10) Virgins.

That those Girls were called Virgins means that they came from very Good Homes – They were well taught.

Their Parents told them – Preserve your Body. And they accepted the Teachings of their Parents.

They were Good Girls – They were Selected out of only God knows how many Virgins to go and receive the Bridegroom.

Special People – Like those of you Members of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Convenant People that were well Trained:

• You are taught the Words of God from Genesis to Revelation.
• You believed the Whole Bible.
• You are not blown to the Left and Right by all manners of Doctrines.
• You believed in Holiness and the Bible.

But then, the Bridegroom delayed.

When they were leaving home, their Lamps were full of Oil but they didn’t make Allowance for the Probability of the Bridegroom delaying.

This is the reason why five (5) went in while five (5) were shut out.

And do you know that the terrible thing is – When the five (5) Virgins that were shut out came back; after running helter-skelter for oil; the Bridegroom had come, the door had been shut, they came knocking but the Lord said: “I don’t know you”.

… They Prepared but their Preparations was not Sufficient!

Ephesians 6:13 says: After you have done all things; Stand! – Extra Preparations.

CATEGORY 3 OF FAILURE: This is Failure inspite of all Preparations and Efforts and the result is still a Failure.

… This is the One that can be very Painful – Most Painful.

When you read Luke 5: 1-5; Peter fished All-Night and still caught Nothing.

He was a Good Fisherman, he was ready to Succeed as he didn’t just fished Half of the Night, he fished all the Night – And yet, he failed.

He was not a Lazy Man by any means:

• Lazy People don’t work All-Night
• Lazy Pastors don’t Pray All-Night.
• Lazy Choirs don’t Practuce All-Night.

But I’m your Coach and not just your father and I could tell you that the Choir is Good but they are far from being Perfect.

In this kind of Meeting, when your daddy is visiting you from another Nation; Majority of your Songs should not be in English at all – It should be Local Music.

There are some things that are not Appropriate – That’s the truth of the matter.

Particularly when a Visitor like me is around – We want to hear the South African Songs.

It is like the Story we have where we took the Bible Text that I read to you in John 2: 1-3 – In the Wedding at Cana of Galilee.

When you Prepare for a Wedding, you Prepare very well.

I mean, they were so sure everything is well – Not only did they invite Jesus Christ Himself; they even invited His Disciples.

… These People were ready and sure that all is well and yet they failed.

Why? 1 Samuel 2:9 says: By Strength shall no Man Prevail,

That brings us to some three (3) Major Questions!

Because if you look at yourself now straightaway; you will know without being told that you are not where you are supposed to be.

You have Excuses – Many of them; but you are not where you ought to be at all.

I can’t be deceiving my own children – You are far from where you are supposed to be.

The Second Place in the whole world where for example The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has a Camp outside Nigeria is here in South Africa and we have held a Convention there before.

Where is the Camp now? – Farmland!

Oh daddy, we applied to the Government, the Government told us that we can only use 10% of it for any Development and the remaining must be used for farm.

So what? That is an Excuse and a very lame one for that matter.

10% of Land? Glory be to God – They didn’t say that you can’t touch the Land at all.

Let’s ask the Big Questions:

QUESTION NO 1: HAVE I DONE ALL I COULD?

I know that I’m not where I am supposed to be – The Question is: Have I done all I could?

You see, when you read Joshua 13:1 – You find a Scripture that will cause you to think again.

Joshua was Old and he was well Stricken in Age – According to Bible Scholars, he was well over 100 years Old.

Chosen by God, Specially Anointed – I mean the Bible said: Joshua, the son of Nun was full of the Spirit of Wisdom because Moses had laid hands on him (DMC NOTES: Deuteronomy 34:9).

… Meaning that he had everything to Succeed.

God said to Joshua – Joshua, you have failed me.

But the Testimony of God in that Joshua 13:1 was that: Joshua you are Old and well Stricken in Age and yet there is still much Land to Possess.

Joshua, when I called you, I told you that you are not only going to Possess all the Lands, you will distribute the Lands to the People.

But now, you are about to die and there is still a lot of Lands to Possess; talk less of distributing it,

When you ask a Student to mark his own Papers, he will score himself 100% because everything he wrote down, he wrote them down because he believed it was correct.

It is when you hand it over to the Teacher who will now take the Papers and say this is not exactly what is right. At times, he might not even score you well.

I mean I could remember very clearly when I was doing my Masters’ Degree and my Supervidor gave me an Assignment. And I have written Pages upon Pages, thinking that when my Supervisor goes through this; he will say: Boy, surely you are ready for your Masters’.

And he called me and said: Totally Unacceptable!

I thought you will say: Well we should correct this or that; but He said: Totally Unacceptable.

Why? Because I made a mistake in Page 1 and every other things were built on that Faulty Foundation.

What is God Testimonial about you?

Will God look at you and say: Oga, look at how Old you are now?

When we are talking of Old Age, don’t think that it is daddy that is 82 that is Old. We are all Old together.

When a Child is born and they want to ask his Parents the number of days the Child has spent; they will say: “How Old” and not “How Young”.

Our days are Numbered, we are getting closer to die and so we can’t afford to waste any Day or Hour.

I get uncomfortable when People are wasting Minutes because once Time is gone, you can’t get it back again.

No matter how Anointed you are; you cannot bring back April 2024 back – It is gone forever!

You can’t even bring back yesterday.

QUESTION NO 2: AM I DOING RIGHT NOW ALL I SHOULD DO?

… This is a more important Question.

Yes, I might have failed to measure up to Expectations in the Past but what about right now? Am I doing all that I should be doing?

You see because in Revelation 3: 15-18; that is where God was talking to His Children and He told them: The Problem with you is that you believed that you are doing Great – You are rich, you don’t need Money, you are doing fine.

And He said that when I take a look at you, I found out that you are Poor, you are Wretched and you are Blind – That could be very frightening.

And He said to them that the whole thing might have been better if you are not doing anything at all so that I will know that you are Cold.

Because it is either you are Cold – Real Cold or you are Boiling Hot.

He said but because you are Lukewarm, I will spue you out of my mouth – Revelation 3:16.

So, I believed that God is Challenging you to take a Closer look at yourself – Take a Close look at your Past and a Close look at your Present!

The Problem with Majority of us Christian is that we are Lukewarm – We are not doing the Best that we can.

I’m not talking of the Past; even in the Present – We will Part ourselves on the back and said that we are better than “Such Organisation”.

God is not comparing you with Someone else.

He says it clearly in His Words that: Those who compare themselves with others, He said that they were not wise.

The Purpose of God for your Life is different from another Person – Do your Maximum Best!

Whether the People around you will recognise you or appreciate you doesn’t matter – At the end of the day, the One who will decide the one who Succeeds or not is God.

QUESTION NO 3: AM I WILLING TO BEGIN TO DO THE MOST I COULD FROM NOW ON?

… This is the most Important Question of all.

Because if we are going to be very, very sincere; Majority of us we are not where we ought to be.

But are we willing to make this Day a New Beginning?

Are we willing to start afresh?

Are we willing to move at the Speed that will be required to redeemed the Time that has been Lost?

In 2 Kings 13: 14-20 – The Bible says when Elisha was sick of the sickness that would killed him. And King Joash came to him.

Elisha asked the King to take a bow, put his hands upon the King’s hands, open the Window Eastwards and ask him to shoot for Victory over the Enemies.

Now, He said, take your arrows and smite the Ground – And he smote three times and stopped.

Ha, the Man of God said: You stopped? Who asked you to stop? You should have smitten five or six times and your Victory would have been Complete,

The amazing thing to me is that the King stood there Stupidly and did Nothing.

Ha, Elisha was still alive?

If I were him, he will be the one to stop me maybe when I’m striking the thirtieth (30th) time.

He will say “O ti to” – Meaning: That’s enough!

Because we are hearing the Truth now, doesn’t mean that it will bring out a Radical Change in you unless you remember what I’m telling you now – You may never hear a Sermon like this again!

Because this is not a Sermon but a Message from God to you!

But something a little Deeper: If you are willing to redeem Time; do everything you need to do.

There is still this Big Problem – How do I still know that I will end up a Success even if I Redeemed the Time, Restitute my ways and now begin to run my Christian Race like Nobody Business?

You see because in Romans 9: 14-16 – Where the Almighty God said that I will have Mercy on whom I will have Mercy, I will have Compansion on whom I will have Compansion.

He said that it is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but of God who shows Mercy.

You can be 100% Prepared and still run out of wine!

You see, in 1 Samuel 2:9; the Bible says: By Strength shall no Man Prevail.

You could Plan to Succeed, you could be more than Prepared to Succeed; you can do your “Very Best” but at the end of the day; it is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but of God that shows Merxy!

That means that you need “Divine Intervention”.

In the Wedding in Cana of Galilee; if Jesus Christ had not intervened; that Marriage could have gone down in History as the Most Disastrous Marriage ever.

… If God does not intervene, you will fail!

I was telling my children of Someone who failed not because she wanted to fail.

And I think I remembered that it was in 1965 when we were Preparing for the first Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) Games which took Place at the University of Ibadan 1966. And when we came from The University of Nigeria Nsukka to Jos, we came as Representative of Sportsmen.

But in those days, when the University of Nigeria Nsukka are going out for that kind of Outing, we will check our chances to know where we will win Gold because we took Sports seriously and most of our Coaches came from America.

And there was this Girl – She was the fastest thing on the face of at least Nigeria at that time. We knew that she will win Gold and there was no doubt about it.

We got to the University of Ibadan for the Competition – In the Heat, she beat everybody far behind.

The Final Day came – On your Mark, Set, Go!

She was gone and left all the others behind.

I mean we used to joke that the others won’t even see her back.

Some few distance to reach the Finishing Point (about 10 yards), she fell – She got up and fell, she got up and fell and then she began to crawl towards the Funishing Line.

But then now, the one who would had been 2nd had come 1st; the one who would have been 3rd, had become 2nd and the one who would have never had a Position had come 3rd.

Why did she fail? Nobody found out – Because it is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but of God that shows Mercy.

So, let me round up because it is a Sermon that you must remember!

In Conclusuon:

1. You must admit that you are the one who failed and not God.

You are where you are today because you failed and not God.

Because it is clearly written: I can do All Things through Christ that Strengthens me (DMC NOTES: Philippians 4:13)

2. You must be ready for a New Start now – I mean right now as I am speaking to you and not tomorrow Morning.

You must be ready for a New Start before you get out of this Building – You make up your Mind that things will never be the same again.

The way I serve my God will never be the same again!

3. You need the Strength that only God can Supply.

Because the Passage that I just quoted to you – Philippians 4:13 says: I can do All Things through Christ who Strengthens me.

HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE

That is why the Holy Communion of tonight is very Special – It is not there for decoration or just the usual Holy Communion.

Because you see in 1 Kings 19;48; when Elijah looked at himself and he saw that he has failed:

• Oh, he had called down Fire from Heaven on Mount Carmel.
• He has Prayed and Rain had fallen.
• He has destroyed all the Prophets of Baal on the Earth.
• He had run faster than the Chariot of the King.

But down at the bottom of the Hill was Jezebel waiting.

Jezebel had told him – I’m coming for you and so he ran.

After three (3) days he became tired and wearied.

And he said to God: I am a Failure. If I am going to die, don’t let that woman kill me – Kill me Yourself.

And God said that I don’t bury my “Wounded Soldiers” but I feed them.

And after he had eaten, the Lord said: You are eating because the Journey is still far and so you need Strength.

South Africa; I hope that you are listening: You are going to come to this Table tonight to receive Strength!

It will be an “Ordinary Holy Communion Service” to you if you have not taken that Decision – That the way I serve my God will be different from now on!

When I sing, the way I sing to Him will be different from now on – I won’t sing to Him as if He is begging me. He has Millions of Angels Praising Him!

I have said it several times at least in Nigeria – Even as few as we were here by comparison; if I ask everybody to shout Hallelujah and one fellow among us say that I am not going to shout and the rest of us shouted. Who will know that you didn’t shout?

That is why I feel distressed when whoever is taking Offering say: Let Somebody shout Hallelujah and he has to say you can do better.

God is not begging you!

No, the Bible says that the Hallelujah in Heaven sounds like Thunder.

So, if all the Peoole in South Africa says that we are not shouting, is that going to make any difference?

So, if you have made up your Mind: The way I Praise Him, the way I dance for him, the way I Give – The way I will do everything will be different, then the Meal of tonight will Supply the Strength!

ANOINTING SERVICE

And then because He says that it is not by Power, not by Might but by my Spirit.

And He also said in Acts 1:8 that you will receive Power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you.

That is the reason for the Anointing Service!

So, when Mummy was speaking and she said that it is going to be a Power Night, that is where we are going.

• When we admit that we have failed.
• When we admit that it is not God who failed but ourselves.
• When we admit that we have no excuse – None al all. Whatever has happened has happen to expose our Failure.
• And we say: Lord, we are sorry and we will Change now.
• And we eat the Holy Communion that will Strengthen us because the Bible says we are Strengthened in the Inner Man.
• And then the Anointing Service will expose us to the Power of God afresh.

And then we will be able to say: Devil, Watch Out, here we come!

I will give you 5 Minutes to go to God.

And Probably the most Important Prayer you have ever Prayed since you got Born Again: Ask God to Please forgive you.

I have failed You, have Mercy on me – And it is my fault: Not Yours at all, not the fault of Government and not the fault of any Rules and Regulations but mine.

Forgive me Lord for the Time that I had wasted – The Time I should be Praying but joking.

Forgive me for not Witnessing – For not bringing in the Locals into the Church.

Forgive me for not being Spent and Spending for You to the Maximum of my Ability.

Now, give me the Grace to Start afresh now and not tomorrow so that everything can become New in my Life as an Individual; New in my Life as a Worker in Your Church and New in my Life as one of Your Ministers.

Lord help me and have Mercy on me as I have wasted enough Time, Energy and Money.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

DADDY GO PRAYS

My Father and my God, I Stand before You today as a Representative of Your Children here to You and I Stand before them as Your Representative to them.

I Thank You for Your Word and I Thank You for the Power in Your Word.

And I am asking for Mercy for all of us:

We have failed You without any doubt in this Part of the world.

Please forgive us, have Mercy on us and let Your Blood wash us Clean again.

And Please Lord, as we Repent before You, as we Return to You wholeheartedly, give us a New Beginning.

As we come to Your Table tonight, Father feed us Yourself and give us Strength.

Then anoint us Lord and give us Power.

Before this Night is out, let all the Demons in South Africa know that there is a New Army arising.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOLY COMMUNION

When you take the Bread tonight, all of you ask God for Strength.

Father, give me Strength in the Inner Man – The Strength to run the race for the rest of my Life; give me today!

When they serve you the Wine, hold on to it until we have all been served. And when it is time to drink, I will tell you how to Pray.

The Lord Jesus Christ; the very Night in which He was betrayed took the Bread and when He has given Thanks, He broke it saying: Take, Eat; this is my Body broken for you; do this in Remembrance of Me.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Amen!

When you drink the Wine tonight, you are going to call on the Almighty God to Baptise you not only with the Holy Spirit but with Fire so that from now on:

• You will be burning for the Almighty God.
• And you will be Winning Souls as if your very Life depends on it.
• You will be serving God with every Zeal that only the Holy Spirit can give.

After the same manner also; He took the Cup when He has sup, saying: This Cup is the New Testament in my Blood, Please do ye as oft as you drink it in Remembrance of Me.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Amen!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

We can remain seated in an Attitude of Worship.

You Pass the cups to the aisles so that the Ushers can collect them very quickly.

ADMINISTRATION OF THE ANOINTING SERVICE

You will come forward in a very orderly manner – And just go to any of the Ministers of God Standing Infront.

And as soon as they anoint you, you go back.

You continue to Pray in Tongues and left the Fire continue to do its Great work in you.

The Choir can continue to sing.

For 2 or 3 Minutes, I want you to lift your Voice to the Almighty God and cry unto Him – Almighty God, don’t let Your Fire ever go out in my Life and let the Fire keep burning Mightily forever in my Life.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

THANKSGIVING

Now, it is accustomed to us to Thank the Almighty God after Holy Communion.

So, you will remain Standing, and take your Thanksgiving Offering.

You are going to raise it unto God, I am going to bless it and then Pray for you.

And then with Joy in your Heart, you will dance and give your Offering to God.

And your Life will never be the same again.

CLOSING PRAYER

Eternal Rock of Ages, we Stand to Worship You.

The Baptiser in the Holy Spirit and Fire, we Worship You.

Thank You for a New Beginning, Thank You for the Fire of Revival, Thank You that the devil is in trouble now.

Please, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Father, bless the Offerings of Your Children, Sanctify it, Use it for Your Glory and everything called Poverty in their lives, let Your Fire consume it.

The Fire of the Holy Spirit that started to burn in the Life of these Your Children, let the Fire burn forever.

My Lord and my Saviour, I Pray that before this time tomorrow, everyone here will have a Good Testimony.

Thank You Father, Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Revive Your Church Oh Lord and revive every Nations gathered here.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
