TOPIC: GREATER THAN THE GREATEST

BIBLE TEXT: JEREMIAH 10:7
I Congratulate all of us and Thank God who has given us Life so that we can be in another Holy Ghost Congress 2025.
I specially give Honour to our father, our Leader – The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); Pastor E.A Adeboye.
Please help me to Celebrate him – A Gift to our Generation.
Thank You our Distinguished Guests for always being there.
I Thank all the Leaders and all that are working with our father.
May God continue to bless you and may He continue to keep you – Amen.
The Subject that we are looking at in this Session is: “GREATER THAN THE GREATEST”.
I am reading from Jeremiah 10:7 as a Foundation Scripture:
Who would not fear thee, O King of Nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the Nations, and in all their Kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.
Who was the Prophet referring to?
Who is the King of Nations?
He is Greater than all the Kings of the Earth and the Rulers in various Stratas of Life.
The Prophet look around and said: Who will not fear thee? Where is that Person that will not Stand in awe before you? – The Greater of the greatest?
Who is He?
In Exodus 5:2; when Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh to say: Thus saith the Lord, let my People go.
You know Pharaoh said: Who is the Lord?
In other words, can there be anyone greater than myself? Who is the Lord that I should obey His Voice?
He said: I know not the Lord – I am the King of Egypt and the Pharaoh.
Can a Child say to his father: Who are you?
And so, God was not going to define Himself from the Dictionary Perspective.
He needed to make Pharaoh know that beside him, there is the Highest – The Most High.
So Pharaoh thought that he has everything under Control.
The Higher than the highest decided to let Pharaoh know that there are things beyond the god of Egypt, than all the riches and all they brag about.
And suddenly flies took over the Land of Egypt; Lice took over the Land of Egypt; Frogs took over the Land of Egypt.
Who is this God that fights even with frogs?
Pharaoh couldn’t handle Him:
☆ The water turned to blood.
☆ Darkness overwhelmed Egypt.
The Greater than the greatest does not need a Greek definition – He showed Himself by Signs and Wonders, by Miracles, by Faith beyond Human Comprehension.
Then came that Night when He moved in the Land of Egypt and all the first born of all the Living in Egypt were all killed.
Pharaoh knew that it was beyond him.
With a Mighty Hand, He delivered Israel from 430 years of Slavery – He overrun Pharaoh
You know that a snail shell full of water is an ocean to an Ant.
Pharaoh thought that he has Power but when the Most High, the Greater than the greatest moved; Pharaoh was subdued.
I don’t have the time but you can see what He did at the Red Sea – When He made a way for His People
Whosoever you are Tonight, wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC:
You will never be Stranded in Life – Amen.
The Way Maker will make a Way for you – Amen.
He showed Himself Strong and humbled Pharaoh because He is Greater than the greatest.
Who is this Greater than the greatest?
In Daniel Chapter 3; a Powerful King of Babylon sat on his seat and he wanted everyone to bow to his image.
But there were three (3) Hebrews Children who said that they couldn’t do that. And the King said that if you don’t bow, then you will burn.
Then he made a very sarcastic statement – He said: Who is that God?
The later Part of Daniel 3:15 says : … and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
In other words: “I am the Greatest”.
The Greater than the greatest heard him and allowed him to exhaust his Strength.
They increased the fire seven-folds – It burns so much that those who threw these Hebrew Children into the fire were roasted (DMC NOTES: Daniel 3: 22).
But for the three (3) Hebrew Children, the fire suddenly turned to be Air-condition.
Then the King said: What is happening? We threw in three (3) People. I see them in the midst of the fire Praising God and a fourth Person is like the Son of God (DMC NOTES: Daniel 3: 24-25),
The Greater than the greatest said: I will never leave you nor forsake you (DMC NOTES: Hebrews 13:5)
When you go through the waters it will not Overflow you; when you go through the fire, it will not burn you (DMC NOTES: Isaiah 43:2).
The Greater than the greatest overrule in your Life.
And you know, they called them out (DMC NOTES: Referring to the three (3) Hebrews Boys) and there was no smell of smoke – Only the ropes with which they are tied was burnt off.
And I Stand here by the Mandate of this Greater than the greatest:
☆ Every bondage in your Life burn by fire – Amen.
☆ Every barrier broken in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
☆ You will never be held down by the Enemy – Amen.
☆ You will not fall to the desires of your Enemies – Amen.
☆ You will come out of the fire – Amen.
The Greater than the greatest showed up Himself and the King reversed the decree.
Can I declare Tonight or as you are reading now on the Label of DMC: Every decrees that was contrary to you and every decrees of the Enemies against you; they are hereby reverse in your Favour – Amen.
You can be like the Psalmist: Our Soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowler (DMC NOTES: Psalm 124:7).
The snare is broken!
There was a King so full of himself – He thought that he had everything and no one can talk to him or overrule him.
The Greater than the greatest sent him to the bush for seven (7) years.
He became like an animal until he realised that the Most High rule everything that is in the Kingdom of Men.
You know that the Psalmist described Him in Psalm 91:1 – He called Him “The Most High” – After Him, there can be no higher.
Psalms 91:1: He that dwelleth in the Secret Place of the Most High shall abide under the Shadow of the Almighty.
There are Highmess all over but He is the Most High.
All Grounds must drop to Him and all knees must bow before Him.
The Psalmist did not only call Him “The Most High”; he called Him “The Almighty”.
There are Mightiness in this world – Politically, Traditionally or Economically.
But the One we are talking about is “The Almighty”.
Awesome is His Name and the bulk stops at His desk.
☆ He rules the world.
☆ He owns the world.
☆ He raises up one and brings down the other.
Simply because He is in Charge,
Now, what did He say about Himself?
In Deuteronomy 32: 39-40; He says:
- See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
- For I lift up my hand to Heaven, and say, I live for ever.
When the Lion roars, you don’t mistake it for cockcrow at dawn.
Isaiah 66:1; thus saith the Lord, the Heaven is my Throne and the Earth is my Footstool.
Oh, how big is He if the whole Earth is His Footstool?
He said to Israel: Where is the house that you have built that can contain me (DMC NOTES: Acts 7:49).
☆ No Church Building can contain me.
☆ No Palace on this Earth can contain me.
☆ No Government House on this Earth can contain me.
☆ I made the Heavens and the Earth and I occupy Space and Eternity,
And the Prophet said thar you have Exclusive Right, Exclusive Power, Exclusive Grace, Exclusive Holiness – You can do anything and everything.
In 1 Chronicles 29:11; David described Him like this – He was a Great King and He knew what Kingdom rule is and the Authority of a King.
The Bible says: Both riches and Honour comes from you (DMC NOTES: 1 Chronicles 29:12).
How much do you have?
What are you bragging for?
A man receive nothing except it be given to him from Heaven (DMC NOTES: John 3:27).
The Greater than the greatest did not create the world and leave it for the devil to run.
Sometimes, God steps out of Eternity because He was in Eternity Past – He steps out of Eternity and became a man.
How can God whose Throne is in Heaven and the Earth is Footstool become a man?
Paul said: Great is the Mystery of Godliness (DMC NOTES: 1 Timothy 3:16).
God manifested Himself in the flesh, He became a man.
He is so big but humbled Himself to become a man.
You know that John in His Gospel said: In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God (DMC NOTES: John 1:1).
Then He said: All things were made by Him and without Him was nothing made (DMC NOTES: John 1:3).
John then went forth to say: That in Him was Life and that the Life in Him became the Light of Men (DMC NOTES: John 1:4).
You cannot embrace the Greater than the greatest and walk in Darkness.
John 1:14 says: The Word became flesh and dwell among us and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of Grace and Truth.
Colossians 1:16-17:
- For by him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in Earth, visible and invisible, whether they be Thrones, or Dominions, or Principalities, or Powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
- And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
I Present to you Tonight or as you are reading now on the Label of DMC, the Greatest of all:
☆ The Greatest Deliverer.
☆ The Greatest Healer.
☆ The Greatest Lover,
☆ The Only Omnipotent, Omnilover, Omnigracious, Omniblessed.
I call on You tonight: What do you want?
What can He do for you?
The Theme for this Wonderful Holy Ghost Congress declares it – He said: “I am the Lord the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me?” (DMC NOTES: Jeremiah 32:27).
What is the crisis? What is the trouble? What is the Pain? What are the Reproaches?
You have come to this Holy Ghost Congress 2025 and you are before the Greater than the greatest.
He is seated on the Throne.
Tonight, He can do anything and everything.
I am calling on you wherever you are: Stand on your feet and let us pour our Hearts to the Greatest of all.
He is here right now and there is Nothing too hard for Him.
If He made a 90 years Old woman to be Pregnant, then He can attend to your case.
If He gave sight to the Blind,
If He healed the Leprosy People,
If He fed the Hungry People;
Then whatever the Problem that you have come with to the Holy Ghost Congress; before Him every Problems dissolve.
I ask you Tonight; wherever you may be or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC, lift your hands to this Awesomely awesome God – The Greatest of all.
The Greatest Deliverer, Lover, Healer; the Compassionate One, the Sin Forgiver and Great Blesser.
FINAL CLOSING PRAYER
By the Mandate of the Greater than the greatest:
Your Season of tear is declared over.
Your Season of weeping declared over.
The Yokes that you have carried over the years are declared broken.
The Goliath that has threatened you and say that you cannot go forward; by the Mandate of the Greater than the greatest, Goliath is coming down in the Name of Jesus.
Every Sicknesses in your body melt away right now.
Binding Spirit get out.
Deafening Spirit, go
Tumors vanish (DMC NOTES: Tumor is an abnormal mass issue formed by cells growing and dividing excessively or failing to die).
Problems in the Blood, go.
Migraine Headache, get out in the Name of Jesus (DMC NOTES: Migraine is Frontal Headache).
That drawdown that is stopping you from accessing your Canaanland – They say that you cannot be anybody or Somebody.
You will fulfill your Destiny in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
Lift up your two (2) hands and begin to Praise the Lord.
You will never go back home the same way you came in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!!!
