OPENING PRAYER
Father, we Thank You!
We give You Praise, we give You Glory tonight.
Thank You because You are a Faithful Father and we return to You all the Glory.
Lord, You have gathered us tonight, let Your Word do us Good, in the Name of Jesus.
I am just a Vessel: O God, fill me with Your Word.
That which You intend to do tonight, Lord do it, in the Name of Jesus.
At the end Lord, we Promise to return all the Glory.
For in Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Let Somebody shout another hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Tonight, I’ll like to thank my father and mother – Daddy and Mummy G.O for the Privilege to stand and Minister here tonight.
And the Senior Pastors.
I Pray that you would all end well, in Jesus’ Name – Amen.
Hallelujah!
Tonight, the Topic before me is “Divine Faithfulness”..
And my Anchor Scripture will be from Numbers 23:19;
God is not a Man, that he should lie; neither the Son of Man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
You know, I came to realize that a man cannot rise above what he knows.
I came to realize that there are things that you need to know; and those knowledge sometimes are meant for our healing.
There are things you know about God that is meant for your Prosperity.
So a Man cannot rise above what he knows.
For you to enjoy the Faithfulness of God, you need to understand who your God is.
In Hosea 4:6 it says, My People are destroyed for lack of Knowledge: because thou hast rejected Knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no Priest to me:seeing thou hast forgotten the Law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Though they are His Children, He said they will Perish because they lack Knowledge.
Tonight, there are things we need to know about this Faithful God;
There are things that are meant for your Progress.
There are things that are meant for your Lifting.
You know, like Students subject themselves to the Process of learning, though rigorous; because in learning they’ll become what they want to be.
ATTRIBUTES OF GOD
There are things we need to know about God, so that we can come into the Fullness of God.
One of such knowledge is that:
- Our God is not a Man
In our Bible Text (Numbers 23:19) the Bible says that God is not a Man.
In the world there may be limitations surrounding the word of a man – One of which is that:
- Men are limited in Power.
- Men are limited in Resources.
- Men are limited in Influence.
No wonder Apostle Paul Prayed a Prayer for the Church in Ephesus in Ephesians 1:18: The eyes of your Understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his Calling, and what the riches of the Glory of his inheritance in the saints.
So tonight, we have come to meet a God who is Faithful.
When we look a the the Topic: “Divine Faithfulness” it means that our God is Faithful.
And there are things we need to know so that we can enjoy His Faithfulness.
- Our God cannot Lie
Another Attribute of this Faithful God is that our God cannot lie.
God called Abraham when he was barren, and Promised to visit him.
In Genesis 18:12, Sarah laughed within herself:
Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I am waxed old shall I have Pleasure, my lord being old also?”
It means that concerning childbearing, Sarah had given up.
In Genesis 21:1, God visited Sarah: And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken.
I Pray for somebody under the sound of my voice, or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC that God will visit you tonight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
I don’t know the issues surrounding your Life. It may look hopeless and helpless, but the visitation of this Faithful God can turn around situations for you.
- Sarah laughed in mockery to the Promise of God.
- Sarah laughed in mockery to the Faithfulness of God.
- Sarah laughed because she didn’t believe the Holy One of Israel.
But the Bible says in Genesis 21:7, And Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me. Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”
I announce to you tonight, you may think that you are helpless but not under the Visitation of the this Faithful God.
You may think that you have no one. But not under the intervention of this Faithful God.
And tonight, what this Faithful God will begin to do is that He will show to you His Faithfulness, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
- God cannot Fail
Another Attribute of God is that God cannot Fail.
When He speaks a word, He is able to do it.
When God makes a Promise, He is also able to bring it to pass.
We know of the Story of the children of Israel; how God said they would be in Captivity for four hundred (400) years. And when the time came for God to deliver His People, Pharaoh stood to oppose what God had said.
You know the Story.
And God led them out of Egypt from the land of Captivity with a Mighty hand. As the People journeyed, behold, infront of them was the Red Sea. And behind them was Pharaoh with his Chariots.
So the People thought, “Oh! God has brought us this far to put us to shame.”
Little did they know that this God is the Almighty, and there is no impossibility in Him.
And God parted the Red Sea – He drowned Pharaoh and his Army in the Red Sea.
We saw how God journeyed with them. He slew famous Kings for their sake. God rebuked Kings for their sake. (DMC NOTES: Psalms 136:17-18)
And when we get to Joshua 21:45 the Bible says, There failed not to do any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.”
I Pray for you tonight: Every Word of God; every Prophecy that has been hanging over your Destiny; they are coming to pass now, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
- God answers Prayers
Another Attribute we need to know about this Faithful God is that He answers Prayer.
In fact, it is the nature of God to answer Prayer.
It is His nature! He delights in answering Prayer.
Psalm 65:2 says, O thou that hearest Prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
There is a God that answers Prayer;
We have come to meet the God who answers Prayer.
i don’t know your issues tonight; I don’t know what you are trusting God for tonight; but one thing is certain, beginning from tonight, this Faithful God will Answer your Prayers – Amen.
Receive answers to your Prayers, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
If you are here tonight, or reading the Message now on the Label of DMC with a load of care:
If you are here tonight, trusting God for help;
If you are here tonight, in need of a Breakthrough;
If you are here tonight, in need of a Partner;
Can I announce to you: You have come to the right Place – Amen.
Because on this Mountain, God will begin to answer every Prayer here tonight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
It is part of His Faithfulness to answer Prayers.
I mean, look at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) today in the Seven (7) Continents of the world.
Oh! It is not by the wisdom of man; but the Faithfulness of God.
So tonight, God will show you His Faithfulness, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
God answers Prayer!
I heard our father-in-the-Lord say that the Poor in his Village were calling his family Poor.
And I begin to wonder what would make a Poor man call another Poor man “Poor.”
And then Daddy G.O told us a Story, that there was a time his father bought an umbrella and the whole family rejoiced – For buying an umbrella?
I now understand what Daddy meant when he said the Poor were calling them “Poor.” But look at him today:
Has God not be Faithful to Pastor Adeboye?
Has God not being good to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG)?
This shows that your Background is not a limitation to what God can do.
Maybe your Story is similar to that of our father-in-the-Lord:
I announce to you that you are not helpless – Amen.
And God will Answer your Prayer tonight – Amen.
… As I begin to conclude;
HOW DO WE BEGIN TO ENJOY THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD?
We have discovered that it is His Nature to answer Prayers.
But we begin to enjoy His Faithfulness by:
- Walking in Faith
We see that in Hebrews 11:6, But without Faith it is impossible to Please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
So tonight I admonish you, when it is time to Pray, make sure you Pray with Faith in your heart.
Because every time we Pray with Faith in our heart, the Angels carry the Prayers, so that God can answer them.
Every time Man Prays in Faith, God is moved.
Why? Because He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Tonight, I am living in my Prayer.
About four (4) weeks ago, I looked at my wife and I said, “One day I will stand on the Altar of the Redemption City of God and Preach the Word of God.”
And tonight, because it is in the nature of God to answer Prayer, I am living in my Answered Prayer – Hallelujah!
- Speaking in Faith
You can enjoy the Faithfulness of God by Speaking in Faith; not doubting in your heart.
The Bible says when you doubt in your heart you are like the waves of the sea, tossed here and there.
He is calling us to a realm when we’ll begin to speak Faith and not fear.
Tonight, I want to encourage you; instead of murmuring and complaining, begin to speak in Faith.
Who said your Life cannot be better than it is now?
… Can I ask you a Question tonight?
Can God answer your Prayer?
Can God give you those Children?
Can God give you that Partner?
Can God give you the Promotion?
Can God lift you high?
Oh! His Word says, But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my Glory, and the lifter up of mine head. (DMC NOTES: Psalm 3:3)
Can we rise up tonight, as we begin to Pray?
Faith is rising here tonight, and we want to begin to Speak Faith.
So look at yourself tonight and speak Life to every hopeless situation;
Rebuke Diabetes, rebuke Cancer, rebuke barrenness because your God is Faithful – He can do the impossible.
Go ahead, speak Faith.
The Lord is here to answer your Prayer. He is here to bring you into your Testimony.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
CLOSING PRAYER
Father, we Thank You tonight for Your Word.
Tonight, we Pray over every Prayer:
Let there be Speedy Answers, in the Name of Jesus.
Come on, how will you shout when the Lord answers your Prayer?
