OPENING PRAYER
Ancient of Days, the Almighty God, the One to whom belong all Powers – We Worship You.
We adore You, we lift You High – Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.
Tonight, we want to Thank You for the Exceptional Privilege of dinning with You.
Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
As we dine with You tonight, Father give us a Second Touch.
At the end of everything, let Your Name be Glorified
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and tell him/her: God will bless you Tonight.
And then you may Please be seated.
We give God the Glory for those of you who are here Tonight because by the Grace of God; by this Time of tomorrow; you will be able to dance more – Amen.
We will look at 1 Kings 19: 4-8:
- But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my Life; for I am not better than my fathers.
- And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an Angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.
- And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.
- And the Angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.
- And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.
It is a Story here that I am sure that you know about this Great Man of God called Elijah – Extremely Powerful Man of God.
I. He called down Fire from Heaven after just 2 Minutes of Prayer.
II. Then he climbed the Mountain, went higher than before because he was already on a Mountain and then Prayed seven (7) times and Rain fell down after more than three (3) years.
III. Then he dealt with the Prophet of Baal.
III. After finishing with the Prophet of Baal, that was when he climbed the Mountain and Prayed Rain down.
IV. And then he outran the Chariot of the King.
According to some Bible Scholars, that was quite a Marathon Race.
V. Now when he got down to Jezreel, he was tired after all the Praying, the running et cetera et cetera; but then instead of an opportunity to rest, he got a Text Message from his No 1 Enemy who said to him that by this time of tomorrow, your head would have been separated from your neck.
So he discovered that his days of running seems to have just started – He ran for three (3) days and three (3) Nights.
VI. And then at a Stage, he was fed up and sat down under a tree and Prayed a very Strange Prayer.
He said to God: Enough is enough, kill me Yourself; don’t let my CV (DMC NOTES: CV meaning Curriculum Vitae) be soiled by saying that it was a witch that killed him.
And then he slept.
VII. And then suddenly, an Angel touched him – Woke him up and told him to eat.
The Bread was very fresh – It was baked right there.
VIII. He ate the Bread and drank the water.
And because he was so tired, he fell asleep again.
IX. And then the Angel came a Second Time and touched him a Second Time and told him: Rise, eat again because there is still a long Journey for you.
Let me start this Evening by telling Someone here Tonight inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC: All those who are expecting you to die, they shall be disappointed – Anen!
Why? Because God Himself is about to feed you.
He ate twice, and he was touched twice.
You are going to eat Tonight a Meal not Produced by an Angel but a Meal Produced by the One who said: “I am the Bread of Life”.
You are going to drink tonight the wine Produced by the one who says that He is the Living Water.
And by the time this Night is over, all you need to reach your Mountain Top would have been Supplied to you – Amen.
- Now, I don’t have the time to go into all the details but it will be easy for us to understand that: The First Meal that he ate was for Restoration – He was tired.
But the One who is called “The Restorer” decided that He will restore certain things to him.
And I am believing God for myself aa well as for you that by the time we eat the Brsad tonight, our Restoration will come rapidly – Amen!
I. He got Restoration of Strength because he was tired.
And if you read Acts 9:19; you will noticed that when God wants to renew your Strength, He will usually feed you.
But it wasn’t just Restoration of Strength – Even though God will do that for you tonight. It was Restoration of several other things:
II. Restoration of Strength automatically leads to Restoration of Health.
Afterall Jesus Christ said that when you eat my Body, you will get Strength.
III. But he needed more than Restoration of Health and Strength – For a Great Man of God to say: Please kill me and for him to be fed instead of being killed.
He needed a Restoration of the Assurance from God that he has not laboured in vain.
IV. He needed Restoration of Peace.
By the time that we will leave here Tonight, in the Name that is above every other names; whatever is bothering your Mind, God would have taken care – Amen.
V. He needed a Restoration of Hope.
Because at that moment in his Life, he was Hopeless.
It is when you look at your right and left and you can’t see Hope at all that you will begin to consider suicide.
And I don’t know who I am talking to Tonight or among those reading this Message now on the Label of DMC: But if there is anyone of us who find himself/herself in a Hopeless situation; your Hope will be restored – Amen.
Afterall, Colossians 1:27 says: “Christ in you, the Hope of Glory”.
VI. And he needed another kind of Restoration – A Restoration of “Absolute Faith” in God.
Because this Man has been fed before Supernaturally.
You know 1 Kings 17: 2-6, he has been fed by Ravens – They brought him food twice a day.
He believed in God and that is why when God told him to go and stay at Cherith and that birds will bring him food – He went and God fulfilled His Promises.
But I believe that God arranged this Particular Convention for Somebody:
☆ Somebody who has seen God at work.
☆ Someone who has seen God Promise and fulfilled the Promises.
☆ Someone who has Great Faith in God.
But certain things seems to have happened that is causing even you to say:
☆ Is God still there?
☆ Where is my God now?
☆ Am I already forsaken?
☆ Have I done something that I shouldn’t have done?
☆ Where is God now!
So he needed that Meal to know that God may not be coming through birds all the time, He can come through Angels too.
There might be Somebody who is no longer too sure – All these Prophesies that I have received from God all these years; all the Fasting; all the Praying and all the Statements from People I know to be true Men of God; where is the results?
I have Good News for you – God will answer you (Amen).
- But then Probably the most important thing is the Second Meal
That Second Meal, which followed the Second Touch by the Angel is to show to the Man of God or Woman of God that your tomorrow will still be alright.
Because Elijah felt that if God can bring me not just one (1) Meal but two (2) Meals and if He can send an Angel, definitely this God has not forsaken me.
And if according to what this Angel said that I still have a Journey ahead, it means that there is a tomorrow for me.
Afterall the Bible says in Isaiah 3:10 – Say ye to the Righteous, it shall be well with him.
If you are the one that God is talking to, let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
I. The Second Meal following the Second Touch is saying clearly to Elijah: “There is the opportunity for a New Beginning for me”.
I don’t know from what height you fall and I don’t know how long you have waited for an answer and Heaven has been quiet. But as God lives, irrespective of what had happened to you in the Past; after this Convention, there will be a New Beginning – Amen!
Because in Judges 16: 18-22, when the Bible tells us that Samson made a very terrible mistake – He opened his Secret to his Greatest Enemy.
And the Enemy cut off his hair and “The Once Mighty Man” suddenly become a toy in the Hand of the Enemy.
The Bible put one Verse there – It says that the hair on the head of Samson began to grow again.
Do you know one thing about hair is that the moment it is cut, it began to grow again.
I believed that God has Somebody in Mind and God will want me to tell you that after this Convention, your hair will begin to grow again – Amen.
Elijah must have suddenly remembered Deuteronomy 33:27 – It says clearly that you cannot go lower, that you can’t go so low that God can’t pick you up from there.
It says: Underneath are the Everlasting Arms.
Somebody is going to Testify – Amen.
Somebody is going to say that I thought I have fallen too far, my case is so bad and I was even asking God to do the killing.
But I suddenly discovered that underneath are the Everlasting Arms.
Someone is going to leave this Convention remembering that even dry bones shall live again – Amen.
Someone is going to leave this Convention that no matter how low he/she may be; he/she can still climb Mountains again.
Because the Angel told him – Eat again, God has not finished with you yet.
Sometimes ago, I overstretched myself so badly that some Medical Specialist looked at me and said: Sir, you are not travelling anywhere for a long time to come.
And when I told them that I am sorry that I had to travel that I have Appointments not one, not two, not three, not four; they said that the only condition that we will allow you to go anywhere at all is that if you will agree that wherever you go, we will go with you so that if you should collapse at the Altar, we would be at least at hand to do whatever is necessary.
And I knew that they were correct.
But there is a God in Heaven that can pick you up no matter how low you may be and get you moving again.
As that God and my God lives, beginning from tonight; you will be climbing again – Amen!
And then he was told: Sir, eat again, the Journey is far.
And then he left (began to go) – The man who was tired some moments ago, was still able to Fast for forty (40) days and forty (40) nights; sustained by that Meal that he ate.
Now, when he now got to the Mountain Top – Horeb, the Mountain of God; he began to hear God again even though it was in Small Still Voice.
As you eat tonight, even if you have never heard from God before, you will begin to hear now – Amen!
And what was it that he heard when he got to the Mountain Top in that Small Still Voice?
God gave him a Clear Picture of what he must do to finish well.
You are going to eat with God tonight, as a result He will restore you and then from now on He will guide you as to what to do so that you will finish well.
I will tell you a small Story – I know that you want to hear more but the Sermon that will influence your Life cannot be long. It has to be a Sermon you can repeat without checking your Note.
When I became Born Again, I was a Lecturer at the University of Lagos and there is a Campus Fellowship run by the Students.
But then Somebody invited me as a New Convert and say: Sir, you will benefit by attending Fellowship so that you can grow.
I agreed and I went.
I liked the Songs they were Singing even though I didn’t know the wordings and so I was making a Joyful Noise with them.
Then all of a sudden, everybody became quiet as if Somebody gave a Signal.
And then one Brother began to Prophesy – “Thus saith the Lord”.
And I touched the man who took me there – Ha, when did God say that? And he said keep quiet, God is talking.
I said that I can’t hear anything.
He said God wants you to hear through that Fellow,
How do you know that he is repeating what God is saying?
Anyway that Day, I Prayed: God, if you are the One talking through that fellow, I want you to talk to me too. I want to be hearing You.
And God knows that I was a Baby Christian and the Prayer was from the bottom of my Heart.
Within days, I began to hear from God.
But hearing from God became so intense in my Life that when I am going to Church on Sunday, as I will be driving towards Church; God will be telling me who is going to Preach, what Passages will he be quoting et cetera et cetera.
So before I got to Church, I already knew what will happen in Church.
Then something happened – Because I was the most Educated Person in the Church, I had risen very quickly to the level of the Interpreter or Translator of the General Superintendent.
And as soon as other Pastors knew that I was Interpreting for the Old Man, they left me alone – I became Special for Interpreting for the Old Man. All the other Pastors, they took other Interpreters.
Then one day, one of the Pastors came to me and say: Sir, you will be Interpreting for me today.
I didn’t say anything to him but said it within myself: Who does he think he is? Asking me the Special Interpreter to the “Oga Patapata” (DMC NOTES: Meaning “The Topmost Head”) to interpret for him?
I Interpreted for him because I had no Choice. But if he knew what was going on in my Mind, he would have asked me to go and sit down and get another Interpreter.
After the Service was over and I was going back to my car; God spoke to me – He said: Oh, so now you are “Too Big” to interpret for my Pastor?
I was just a Worker then.
And that was the last thing that I heard from God – He wasn’t speaking anymore.
And Satan took great advantage.
Because when I was still hearing from God, I didn’t fall into any traffic because God will tell me: Hey, don’t turn right there, turn left; go this way, go that way.
So, I was having a nice time.
But from that moment that God stopped speaking to me, I ran into every Go-Slow because somehow, Satan must have discovered that God is not speaking to him anymore.
Things got so bad that I Prayed a Prayer – Please God, forgive me this once. If I am going to offend you again tomorrow, kill me today.
Ha, once God heard that one, He started talking to me again. And He is still talking to me even now.
If there is anything Good that God has given you that you have lost; in the Name that is above every other name; before you wake up tomorrow He would have restored – Amen.
There was a time that I started Preparing for my Retirement and I had a great Plan for my Retirement.
I was Planning that I will travel throughout the world and the Gift that God has given me to take a Passage in the Bible and expand.
I thought that I will just sit down and begin from Genesis Chapter 1 and keep on enlarging it and writing it down.
So that by the time I die, wherever I have reached in the Bible will become a Legacy – Something that Preachers can consult when they wanted to Preach.
But then God said, you are not retiring yet.
Well, I was wise enough to know that if I disobeyed; He has stopped talking to me before, I don’t want Him to stop talking to me again.
The Almighty God brought you here Tonight – This is not going to be an Ordinary Holy Communion Service:
☆ It is a Service of Restoration.
☆ It is a Service of New Climbing.
☆ It is a Service you are not going to forget.
ALTAR CALL
So before we now go ahead and Partake of this Great Meal, may I appeal to you:
☆ If you are not a True Child of God,
☆ If you are not sure of your Salvation,
You better come and Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ now,
Because the Meal we are about to take is not a Meal you can ttake casually – It is a Meal that will determine your Destiny forever.
So, before you Partake of the Meal and before we will Pray a Prayer or two (2) Prayer; those of you who are not sure of your Salvation, Please come.
I am going to count from one (1) to ten (10).
So, if you are there and you want to be Part of the Partakers of the Meal of tonight; you have to come to Jesus Christ and come very quickly.
And I am counting now!
The Lord says that there are at least seven (7) of you still sitting down there saying what will my friend say?
He wants me to tell you that when the Time of your crisis come; your friends will not be able to help you.
So, I will, backtrack a little to give those of you that God is talking about to come now – So, I will go back to five (5).
Daddy says that there is still one more fellow still there – Come, as tonight is your Day.
I don’t know why God is so Gracious – If you are the fellow, don’t delay us and you have to run now,
Thank You Father. Glory be to Your Holy Name.
Now, those of you who are infront, go to God now in Prayer:
Ask Him to be Merciful unto You, ask Him to Please save your Souls and Promise Him that you will serve Him for the rest of your Life.
And ask Him to be not just your Saviour, but your Lord.
Go ahead and talk to God!
And the rest of us, let us Stretch our hands towards these People and intercede for them:
That God will save their Souls and He will include them in the Meal of Tonight – This Meal that will bring about a Dramatic Change in their lives.
Let’s Pray for them Brethren!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION
My Father and my God, I want to say Thank You.
Thank You for Your Word and Thank You for these People who has come forward to Surrender their lives to You.
Father, Please have Mercy on them, save their Souls, receive them into the Kingdom of God, write their names in the Book of Life and let them become true Children of the Living God.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah.
ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOLY COMMUNION
They will distribute the Elements now.
We have already blessed the Elements.
When we have all been served, then we will Proceed further – God bless you.
Shall we Please Stand!
You are going to open the Element to the Bread Section now.
When you eat the Bread Tonight, you are going to cry to God for Restoration.
You are going to cry to Him and say: Please Lord, every Good Thing: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Marital or Emotional – Every Good Things that I had lost, Please restore to me.
Please don’t Pray a Canadian kind of Prayer – Your future depends on what we are about to do now.
So, as soon as I give the Signal, you will eat and you will Pray with all your Heart.
The Lord Jesus Christ; the very Night in which He was betrayed took the Bread and when He has given Thanks, He broke it saying: Take, Eat; this is my Body broken for you; do this in Remembrance of Me.
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Amen!
Go ahead: Eat and Pray!

When you drink the Wine Tonight, you are going to cry to Him for a Second Touch.
You are going to call on Him and say: Please my future is in your hands; I want to be able to finish well, I want to reach the very Top. Father, give me a Second Touch.
After the same manner also; He took the Cup when He has sup, saying: This Cup is the New Testament in my Blood, Please do ye as oft as you drink it in Remembrance of Me.
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Amen!

Ancient of Days, Thank You once again for everything.
Thank You for what You are doing during this Convention.

Whether it is Health or Wealth or Spiritual Gifts – Whatever Gift they have lost Father restore.
The Grace to start afresh, to begin to climb again and to end well, release to us.

THANKSGIVING
And then, take your Thanksgiving Offerings as we Thank God for giving us an opportunity to dine with Him Tonight.
Let us take our Offerings very quickly.
When you are ready, you will lift up the Offerings because I want to Pray for you.
FINAL CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, we Thank You.
We give You all the Glory, all the Honour and all the Adoration.
Accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
Your Children are giving You a Thanksgiving Offering:
Please receive the Offerings and receive the Givers.
And Please Daddy, I Pray that these Your Children will never lack.
Give them a Brand New Beginning of Abundance so that they will be able to do Your works.
As Your Children will be going home, go with them and let our tomorrow be better than today.
