Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
Rise on your feet and shout a Thunderous Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
If you are convinced in your heart that when you leave the details for God, He will take you Beyond Expectations, shout a Thunderous Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
You may not know how, you may not know when, but God is definitely going to do it again for you – Amen.
And He is going to Exceed your Expectations – Amen.
So, I want you to lift up your hands and bless that Wonderful God;
That God that can never fail;
The One that has never failed.
The One who is going to lift you beyond your Widest Imagination.
Just lift up your voice and tell Him: Father, I Thank You for how far You have brought me.
Thank You for where you picked me from.
Thank You for where I am.
And Thank You for where You are taking me to.
I believe in Your Word, because Your Word will never Change; and it will never fail.
Just bless Him and say Thank You to this Almighty Wonderful God.
Let Him know you appreciate Him and You are not taking Him for granted.
Because He has done great things in our Church (RCCG) and in our lives.
Open your mouth and Thank Him; Bless His Holy Name.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have given Thanks – Amen.

OPENING PRAYER
Father, there is none as Holy as You are.
Therefore, we have come this Evening to say Thank You for all that You have done;
All that You are, and all that You are doing.
Thank You especially for the 74th Annual Convention of this Church (RCCG).
Thank You for all the Miracles.
Thank You for the Signs and the Wonders.
Thank You for Protecting everybody who came and returned home safely.
Thank You for the way You met all the needs.
Most importantly, we Thank You for the Salvation of Souls.
Thank You so very much Father.
We Thank You for our Daddy and our Mummy – Pastor E.A Adeboye and Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye.
Thank You for keeping them.
Thank You for all that You have done for them since the Convention ended.
Daddy, as we gather this Evening, we look at You that has brought us into this New Year of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG);
And we are trusting You for Miracles and Blessings that are beyond our Widest Expectations.
Father Please do so, in the Name of Jesus.
Everybody under the sound of my voice tonight, including those reading the Message now on the Label of DMC:
Daddy I am Praying; whatever need they brought here will be met!
And You will Surpass their Expectations in the Name of Jesus.
Thank You Father.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
Look at your Neighbour and tell him or her: “Happy New Year.”
It is going to be a Glorious Year for you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
So, we want to thank our Daddy and Mummy for this wonderful opportunity to be here.
It is a Privilege, and we are not taking it for granted.
We want to Pray that God will continue to bless you, Ma;
And God will continue to bless you, Sir.
Our Theme for this first Holy Ghost Service of the RCCG New Year (2026/2027) is “Beyond Expectations.”
And we are taking our Bible Text from the Book of 2 Kings 4:1-7 (a very Popular Scripture we all know);
1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? Tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil.
3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad from all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shall pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.
5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.
6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.
Shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
These are very Powerful words: Beyond and Expectations – They are Life Changing Words.
BEYOND
When you look at the meaning of “Beyond” it is just telling you about;
- Something that is Above.
- That is Higher,
- That is Greater.
- Something that is Wider than you can imagine.
It is not something that you can contemplate that this is exactly what is going to happen.
- It is higher than you;
- It is Wider.
- It is Bigger.
- It is Above your Wisdom and Knowledge.
That was exactly what happened to the woman:
- She was Beaten.
- She was Out.
- She was Down!
All she wanted was just Freedom for herself and her sons.
She didn’t want to become Childless – Because when your children are sold into Slavery, you are as good as being Childless.
So, she went to Elisha and cried to him, “My sons are going to be taken by this time tomorrow, and I will be Childless. What can you do to help me?”
And beyond her Expectations, God did it for her.
I don’t know the stage you are in as you have come here tonight or wherever you are listening from, including those reading the Message now on the label of DMC: God is asking me to tell you: That Problem will be Solved, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
It will not only be Solved, it will be Solved in a way that you can never imagine – Amen.
And those that are oppressing you, they will come and bow to you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
EXPECTATIONS
Expectations mean: our Hopes, our Desires, and our Longings – That’s Expectations.
It means your Hope, your Desire, and your Longing.
And that is to tell you something; If you came here without a desire, that is the Problem; your Desire, your Longing and your Hope!
This woman went to Elisha with a Desire – She wanted Freedom for her children.
And the Bible tells me something about Hope; because if you don’t have Hope you are finished:
That means you are not believing God for anything at all – You have sealed your own Life.
But this woman had Hope.
The Bible says in Proverbs 23:18: For surely there is an end; and thine Expectation shall not be cut off.
That means if you have Hope, God is bound to make sure that your Hope is not disappointed.
So, hope is critical to getting anything from God.
In Proverbs 24:14, So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
That is God’s commitment to People who have Hope.
Why? Because Hope means, you have Faith.
So, when we are talking about “Beyond Expectations” there is something you must make sure you don’t lack – And that is Hope in God.
… Hope in God that He can do what He says He will do.
I don’t know what God has Promised you. But whatever He Promised you, God will do it – Amen.
He is not just going to do it, He is going to do far, far beyond your Expectations, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
AREAS YOU CAN EXPECT VICTORY.
Now, in which area of your Life can God Surpass your Expectations?
Quickly;
- When you have a Battle to fight that you can not Win.
In 2 Chronicles 20:1-end, you will see a King – King Jehoshaphat. He had a battle to fight that he knew he could not win but he had Hope in Someone.
So, he took the letter they wrote to him to the Temple and he cried unto God. And God gave him Hope that, “You will not need to fight in this battle, I will defeat your Enemies.”
He did something very interesting – He gathered the Choir before the Army and they began to sing.
At the end of the day, the three (3) Nations that rose against him helped to destroy one another.
So, I have Good News for you: If you are fighting a battle you can’t win; God is going to arise for you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
God did not only fight for Jehoshaphat, He made sure he became Wealthy, as a result of that Battle.
So there was a Wealth Transfer.
And I have Good News for you also: If you have been working for a man and he has been using you, and using you; this Season, there is going to be a Wealth Transfer, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
- In the Area of your Health:
When you want a Miracle that is beyond your Expectations, just check your Health.
There’s a very interesting Story in the Bible in 2 Kings 5:1-15 – And it is about Naaman, the Syrian General. He was a Leper but he was a mighty man.
One day he heard in his house that there was a Prophet in Israel (Elisha) who could solve his Problem.
Like there his a Prophet in the House today; God is here, and your Health Problems will be solved – Amen!
Naaman heard about the Prophet and he went to see him.
Elisha did not bother to see him. He sent his Servant to tell Naaman to go and deep himself in Jordan seven (7) times and he would be well.
But the real Leprosy in Naaman was Pride; and he was going to lose that Miracle.
But suddenly one of his Servants spoke to him, and he obeyed.
The Bible says, Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
That means that there was no scar to show that the man was a Leper – That was beyond his Expectations.
I don’t know the Health Challenge you brought here today, including those reading the Message now on the Label of DMC: I have got Good News for you, God is going to Heal you; and He is going to make you Whole, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
- When you have a Failed Business like Peter:
You may be like Peter (Luke 5:1-7) who had a failed Business.
The Bible says he toiled All-Night and he caught nothing.
Maybe you are here today, including those reading the Message now on the Label of DMC: You have been working like an Elephant, and you are eating like an ant; God is going to bless you Beyond your Expectations, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
There were other boats there, but Jesus decided to use Peter’s boat as a stepping stone to bless him.
When He finished Preaching, He called on Peter and said: Launch out into the deep for a catch.
Peter said: “Oga, You are a Preacher, I am a Fisherman. I fished at the right time and I got a wrong result. The time You are asking me to throw my net is the wrong time.”
But suddenly he looked at Jesus and said, this Man is different. And he said, Nevertheless, at Your Word, I will throw the net.
He had several nets with him, but he threw only one (1).
And the Bible says, he caught so much fish, he had to beckon on his Partners to come and help him.
That means if your Business had failed; or your Business is struggling; there is a God that can turn the Tide in your Favour – Amen!
… And that God is here tonight.
If you know that God is your God, shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Peter threw the net and the Tide turned!
There is Somebody here tonight, including those reading the Message now on the Label of DMC: You have been Struggling over that Business for many years; this is your Season to begin to Harvest, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
So the Tide turned for Peter.
And I love the next point I am going to make;
- If you are Waiting on God like Hannah.
In 1 Samuel 1:10-11: And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
Hannah had gone to Shiloh several times since she was married but she has been having the same results – She would come back barren the following year.
But one year she went and she made up her Mind, “Things must Change.”
For Somebody hearing my voice tonight, including those reading the Message now on the Label of DMC; Things will Change for you – Amen.
So, Hannah said, things must Change.
While everyone was eating, she refused to eat. She went to Pray at the Altar.
As she was Praying at the Altar, the Priest (Eli) saw her lips moving and he taught she was drunk:
And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto (DMC NOTES: 1 Samuel 1:15-16).
And the Priest that had not said anything tangible for years looked at her and he said, Go in Peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy Petition that thou hast asked of him. (DMC NOTES: 1 Samuel 1:15-17)
I say: By this time Next Year (2027) you will come with your Baby – Amen.
If you looked at 1 Samuel 1:21-22, Hannah could not go to Shiloh the following year because she already had her Baby, Samuel:
And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow. But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.
It was Beyond her Expectations; because after Samuel she had other children.
They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble (DMC NOTES: 1 Samuel 2:5).
… That’s an interesting Story.
So, I don’t know how long you have been barren; It doesn’t matter!
You may not know how, you may not know when; but God will do it again – Amen.
I have been in your shoes before:
I remembered at the 3 by 3 Kilometers Arena, a Pastor (who is on the Altar here) shared his Testimony in 2013. He said they were barren for Twenty Six (26) years or thereabout.
They came out with a set of Triplets – And the Babies Names are: Miracle, Sign and Wonder.
The children beat their Expectations.
When they shared their Testimony, my wife and myself had been waiting for Nineteen Years and four Months. And I said to myself, “Jide, you will be the next fellow to Testify.”
Not long after that, in 2014 my wife conceived.
By then I didn’t care, I just needed a Child but God surprised my family with a Set of Twins.
So, I have Good News for you: How long you have been barren does not matter – It is the God that can Change your Story that is important.
… And God is here tonight!
He is going to Change your Story, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
WHO WILL GOD BLESS BEYOND EXPECTATIONS?
Who will have a Miracle that is Beyond Expectations?
I’ll mention three (3) very quickly;
- He that has come to the end of himself.
Hannah had come to the end; she couldn’t help herself anymore.
By time I came here in 2013 and that Pastor was sharing his Testimony, I had come to the end of myself. Because we had spent all the money People gave us for Tests.
And then God came through!
God is going to come through for you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
In Mark 5:25-34, the Woman with the Issue of Blood had come to the end of herself.
The Bible says: And had suffered many things of many Physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse.
But suddenly, she turned to God; God Healed her and she became Whole.
So, if you have come to the end of yourself, you have come to the right place. Jesus is here, and God will do it for you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
- He that is being Mocked
Who will God Bless Beyond Expectations? The man or the woman that is being mocked by the Enemies.
In 1 Samuel 1:6-7, the Bible says: And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.
To “Provoked her sore” means she was mocking Hannah – Sit down there, eat the food of our husband. You are barren, you will never have a child.
But that was the year God Changed her Story.
So, if you are being mocked by the Enemies; that you are poor, that you are barren, that you are this, you are that; this Season, God is going to bless you! And He will Surprise even your Enemies, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
- He whose time has Passed.
Then lastly in that part, who will God Bless Beyond Expectations? The man or woman whose time has Passed.
Everybody look at you and they say: It’s over for you!” You can’t make it anymore; You can’t have Joy anymore. There’s nothing New that can happen in your Life.
In Genesis 18:11-12: Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”
For Sarah and Abraham, the Bible says “they were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.”
She had entered Menopause – Everything was over for her.
But whenever they say it is over for Somebody, that is when God begins.
I say: When they say it is over for you, God is going to begin anew with you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
So the door that men had shut against Sarah, God opened it.
I don’t know the door they have shut against you; but God is going to open it for you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
In Genesis Chapter 21, Sarah had a son! And she called him Laughter.
So, all those who have laughed at you; they will come and laugh with you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
WHY WILL GOD BLESS YOU BEYOND EXPECTATIONS?
Now, why am I sure God is going to bless you Beyond Expectations?
- Because you love Him.
I have a Witness and that is in the Word of God.
1 Corinthians 2:9 says: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
- So, it is not even because of your Faith.
- It is not because you are so Hungry.
- It is not even because you so desired it;
But there is something that God has Prepared for you because you love Him.
I know your coming here tonight is because you love Him.
And God asked me to tell you that what eyes have not seen, what ears have not heard, what has not come to the heart of men – what cannot be imagined; He is going to do for you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
So, my Witness is the Word of God because the Word can not be broken.
The Scripture cannot be broken: God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God (DMC NOTES: Psalms 62:11).
- Because He owns all Power
Another Witness that God is going to do it for you is in Ephesians 3:20 – Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
- If you can Think about it.
- If you can Dream about it;
… God will Deliver it!
“Now unto Him…” Not unto you!
God will not fail Himself and He will not disappoint Himself.
Because God is so sure of Himself, if you can hold onto Him; as our Daddy-In-The-Lord will come up here later tonight and make declarations; you will return back here Next Year (2027) with your Babies, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
Now, let me round up with the saying of a British Theologian and Philosopher;
Bishop Anselm said something – He said, “God is a Being than which nothing greater can be conceived.”
- That means nothing is greater than God in Power.
- Nothing is greater than God in Wisdom.
- Nothing is greater than God in Knowledge.
And because He owns all Power; that means it doesn’t matter how difficult your situation may be, God will do it for you – Amen!
I say: God will do it for you – Amen!!
I say it again: God will do it for you – Amen!!!
He is not only going to do it for you; He is going to Surpass your Expectations – Amen.
It doesn’t matter how “Big” your Dream may be, God will Surpass it, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
… I want you to Rise to your feet this Evening.
DECLARATIONS
Say to yourself:
It is my Night!
Say it as if you mean it: It is my Night!!!
Say it again: It is my Night!!!
And I am going to go back home Rejoicing.
My Enemies have lost the battle;
I am going back home with Victory!!!
If you are here tonight , including those reading the Message now on the Label of DMC and you are trusting God for the Fruit of the Womb; believe it, you are going back with your own Babies, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
I have a short Testimony to share with you: I Pastored outside Nigeria for some time and I visited a Country.
When I got there, the Lady that was taking care of us said, “Let me buy something for your children.”
As at that time, we had no children.
She was looking at me, and she said, “For which sex of baby should I buy gifts for?”
I told her to buy gifts for a Male and for a Female, and she bought them.
I brought the gifts home, showed them to my wife, and we kept them somewhere.
When our Twins arrived, they used those things – I say: they used the gifts!
I was just believing God for a Miracle.
So it doesn’t matter how far your journey has been; that you came for this Meeting or read this Message now on the Label of DMC, you are going back home Rejoicing – Amen!
I say: you are going back home Rejoicing – Amen!!
PERSONAL PRAYER POINTS
Lift your right hand up and Pray;
Father, I drop my burden at Your feet.
Bless me Beyond my Expectations.
My needs are big, but You are Bigger than them;
Bless me Beyond my Expectations.
Surprise me as You surprised Hannah.
Surprise me as You surprised Jehoshaphat.
Surprise me as You surprised Peter.
Surprise me as You surprised Sarah.
Bless me beyond my wildest imagination.
Step into my Affairs today.
Whatever need you brought;
- God is Bigger.
- God is more Powerful.
- God is more Wiser.
If it is Enemies that are assailing you; you are seeing their end tonight – Amen.
So, Pray unto the Living God: Bless me Beyond my Imaginations.

CLOSING PRAYER
Eternal Father, we Thank You.
The Owner of Blessings.
The Controller of the whole Universe;
The One who has never failed;
The One who knows the End from the Beginning.
Daddy, I know You ordered the steps of everyone that is on this Campground here today;
And those who are watching Online or listening on Radio;
You ordered them to listen and read the full Text of the Message now on the Label of DMC.
Therefore, I decree, as our Daddy will come here to decree to Seal it;
That every Blessings and every Needs will be Surpassed, in the Name of Jesus.
Those who have failed before, the last Failure was the last you will ever have, in the Name of Jesus.
Those who have been termed barren, anything called Barrenness in your Life, I cast it out, in the Name of Jesus.
Everyone that has mocked you, they will come and Celebrate with you.
And I decree concerning you, that a new Horizon for Glory;
For Power, for Vision, for Prosperity is opened unto you today, in the Name of Jesus.
It is well with you!
