OPENING PRAYERS
- Lift your hands to the Almighty God and bless His Holy Name. Let’s give Him Glory, Honour and Adoration. Bless His Holy Name for yourself, for your family, for your Towns, for your Villages and then for Nigeria.
Let’s thank Him for sixty six (66) years of His Sustaining Power over our Nation Nigeria.
Praise Him as He is Worthy to be Praised.
Thank You Almighty God – We give You Glory.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have given Thanks – Amen.
- Then let us lift up our voices to Goc in Unity and say:
Father we are crying to You for all our Rulers – From the President to the Youngest Councillor and even to all the Traditional Rulers; inclusive all those who are involved in ruling over us, help them as they can’t carry all the Burdens alone. Show them Mercy and take care of their families also.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
- And then cry to God and say: Father, thus far You have helped me, help me to the very end as we are already in the Month of October.

OPENING PRAYER
Ancient of Days, King of Kings and Lord of Lords; the Burden Bearer, the Unchangeable Changer, the Prince of Peace – Glory be to Your Holy Name.
Thank You for January, Thank You for February, Thank You for March, Thank You for April, Thank You for May, Thank You for June, Thank You for July, Thank You for August, Thank You for September and now Thank You for October.
Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
The Year is going to an end, Help of the Helpless, You have helped us thus far, Please help us till the end.
And we are committing to You today Specially all our Rulers – Those who are ruling us now and those who will be taking over from them; Lord help them.
From the highest to the lowest of them, Father help them.
All we are just asking for is: Please, help them and help us also.
And we are Praying for their families, Lord God Almighty, let it be well with their families and Protect them from evil.
Wherever they go, let Your Light Shine on them.
As for Your Children that has been very Faithful in winning Souls; my Lord and my Saviour, answer all their Prayers as they continue winning Souls and establishing Churches and bless them as well.
For Your Children who has been Faithful in the Payment of their Tithes and in the Giving of their Offerings, this Month, embarrass them with Your Blessings.
That Level where they will say: Lord, this blessing is becoming too much; Oh Lord God Almighty even this Month bring them to that Level.
Everyone here this Morning and those who are listening to us all over the world today inclusive all those who are reading now on the Label of DMC: Accept our Thanksgiving and let it be well with us all.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Shake hands with two (2) or three (3) People and say: “God will surprise you today”.
And then, you may Please be seated.
We welcome all our Rulers who are Present here at the RCCG Headquarters Parish and all those of you who are Worshipping with us all over Nigeria.
We are saying Congratulations on the sixty sixth (66th) Birthday of our Nation Nigeria.
And by the Special Grace of God, it shall be well with Nigeria – Amen.
I have been asked to speak this Morning on “Acceptable Service”.
“Acceptable Service” – Two (2) words: “Service” and “Acceptable”.
Romans 12:1:
I beseech you therefore,Brethren, by the Mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a Living Sacrifice, Holy, Acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable Service.
Everything that God created is for a Service – We are created to serve and to serve Him (God) in Particular.
Genesis 17:1 makes it clear God is All-Sufficient – He said that I am Jehovah El-Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One. The One that needs nothing to be Complete.
But He created all things for His Pleasure – Everything that God made is just to Please Him and not because He is in need.
When you have everything and want to Please yourself, then you can just Provide some things just for your Pleasure.
Revelation 4:11 says: He created us and He created us for His Pleasure.
For Example:
- He has a Purpose for creating our Hands.
Many of us may think that the hands were created to bath ourselves or put on our Clothes – All these are Secondary reasons for creating the Hands.
Why is it that God created the Hands? It is for Clapping.
In Psalm 47:1, He says: Hey, clap your hands all ye People – Great, Small, Boys or Girls. He said that all ye People should clap your hands.
And those who knows the Bible very well – The Bible Scholars, they said that when God said clap your hands; what He actually meant was that put all your Enemies between your hands and jam them together.
Now you will begin to wonder: Why is God so interested in Clapping?
It is because Heaven is a very Noisy Place.
And so if you don’t like noise, then don’t go to Heaven.
I will just show you quickly from the Scriptures that God is interested in Clapping – That in Isaiah 55:12, He commanded even the trees to clap their hands.
In Psalm 98:8, if you go to the beach and you see waves going and then coming. When they are crashing on the beach, they are Clapping.
The Bible says in that Psalm 98:8 that even the Floods are created to clap.
Will you put your hands together for the Almighty God?
- And why did He create your Legs?
In case you don’t know, He created the Legs for two (2) reasons:
☆ To Dance.
☆ To Move about in other to spread the Gospel.
Psalm 150:4 says that you want to Praise God? Then dance.
In Acts 3: 1-8, there was a Man born Lame – Everyday they carried him to the front of the Temple so that People who are going in and out of the Temple can give him something to eat.
And he will be peeping into the Church and be seeing these People when it is time to dance – Only small children will dance but the big ones, they hardly move.
He said: Oh God, how I wish that I have Legs? I would have shown these People how to dance.
And then one day came and God healed him.
When he got up, what was he doing? He was walking, he was jumping and he was dancing.
He went into the Service and disrupted the entire Service – He showed them how to use their Legs.
I Pray for you: From now on, you will have something to dance about – Amen!
You don’t know the meaning of dancing until you see Somebody who has had a Stroke.
If Somebody had a Stroke Particularly in the two (2) legs and can hardly move. And then God moved on his behalf and healed him/her – Restored him and the two (2) Legs can begin to function very well again; when we say dance, those People will dance better.
You will never have a Stroke – Amen!
- Why did He give you Eyes?
The Bible said that He gave us eyes so that we can see His Glory.
Psalm 19:1 says: The Heavens declares the Glory of God.
You want to see the Glory of God? Go out at Night Particularly when it is dark and look up at the Sky. And then you will see Stars.
And God said that I have a little bit of Glory to display all over the Sky.
But how are you going to see it if you have no eyes?
In John 9: 1-7, the Bible tells us of a Man who was born blind. And then Jesus Christ and His Disciples were Passing by and they saw the Man.
And the Disciples began to say: Hey, who sinned – This Man or his Parents that he was born blind?
Jesus Christ said:No, I just want you to see what happened when eyes were made available and so that the fellow will see the Glory of God.
I Pray today for all of you that have Eyes Problem: In the Name that is above every other name; receive brand New Eyes now – Amen!
- Maybe I should take one more Part – I can’t talk about all of them as I can talk about why He created your Head, Ears et cetera et cetera.
Let me talk about why He created your mouth?
If you read Psalm 47:1, where He said: Clap your hands all ye People.
Then He said: Shout!
In Psalm 66:1, He said: Make a Joyful Noise.
You know that I have always told People – In Heaven, there is a Particular Organ that will fit into your voice. Some of us can’t sing beautifully like this Angels on Earth.
But if I can’t sing, I can shout.
In Psalm 89:1, He said that I give you your mouth so that you can sing and Testify.
☆ He said that I will sing of the Mercies of the Lord forever.
☆ He said that with my mouth, will I made known His Faithfulness to all Generations.
There are some People who said that the Problem with those of us who are Pentecostals is that we are very Noisy.
I said that is why we are Pentecostals.
- I can tell you that the reason why He made womb for a woman.
It is because the first thing that He said to Human Beings after He created them was: “Be Fruitful”.
After He created Adam, He said that this fellow might not be able to Produce, I better give him Somebody and make that one different and then give her a womb.
You know that the matter is so serious that if a woman’s womb discovered that for one reason or the other she is not Producing babies, the womb begin to Produce what they called Fibroids.
Why? Because it knew that God says that you are not here for fancy.
I decree in the Name that is above every other name: Barrenness will be a Stranger to us – Amen!
If you are alive today, it is because God is still saying: Let us give him a little time, maybe he will wake up today and begin to serve.
He has no room and no Tolerance for those who are not serving.
Luke 13: 6-9, He told us a Parable – He said that there was a Man (Farmer) who Planted a tree and then came back expecting fruits on it.
And finding none, He said to the Vine Dresser: Cut it down! Why is it occupying space for nothing?
The Vine Dresser said: Please sir, let me tend it for one more year. If it then begin to Produce fruits then its fine but if not, then you can cut it down.
God has no room for relics:
☆ He has no room for anybody who is not Producing fruits.
☆ He has no room for anybody who is not serving Him.
For you to remain on Planet Earth and for Him not to revoke your Certificate of Occupancy on this Earth, then you must serve Him – It is very compulsory!
And then of course, there is the word “Acceptable” – Which is the crucial Point for this Morning.
In Luke 12: 47-48, He said it – He said that you will be beaten with many Stripes.
Now from this Morning, you already know the Will of God: You know what He made your mouth for – Not for backbiting but for Praying.
But before that, when you are Praying, it is for yourself.
☆ When you are Shouting, you are Shouting for Him.
☆ When you are Singing, you are Singing for Him.
☆ When you are Witnessing, you are Witnessing for Him,
You know that I have always told you that when we give an Altar Call and we are coming forward and some of us are Clapping; I have always told you that those of you who are Clapping for God, your hands will never wither.
If you know how to Praise God, nothing will ever happen to your Voice!
Many of us don’t know what we are enjoying.
Many of you have heard this Story before:
There was a Man here in Lagos – A very Wealthy Man and a Socialite (People that the Party has not started until they arrived) who had a Stroke and it is the kind of Stroke that takes away the Voice.
And so they took him to the best Hospital in London. And I was in London then and there was a friend of mine who happened to be his friend also – He said Please Pastor, come and Pray for my friend. And so I followed him.
When we got there – Got to the Special Suite for him in that Great Hospital.
Do you know that it doesn’t matter how beautiful the room in an Hospital is, it is still an Hospital you know!
In the Name that is above every other name, the Hospital will not become your House – Amen!
And he was sitting on the bed when we got there and his wife was sitting by his side – We greeted them and then the wife got up and left.
And after we have Prayed, he wanted to converse with us and he parted the place where the wife was sitting when we came in and pointed in the direction the wife had gone and then made a Sign and we are trying to interpret it:
☆ Oh, you want us to go and call your wife? No, no.
☆ Oh, you want the Pastor to come and sit next to you? No, no.
☆ Oh, it is your friend that you want to come and sit next to you? No, no.
After 30 Minutes with him sweating, we finally understood that what he was saying is that: My wife who just left, is coming back.
How long does it take you to say: Praise the Lord?
God has no room for relics – If you know His Will and you are not doing it, then you are living on “Borrowed Time” because He will say, why are you occupying the space that I can give Someone who will serve me?
I will give you two (2) Examples:
EXAMPLE NO 1: There was a Great Man of God – I mean that when he speaks, it is done. And then his children were misbehaving and doing the kind of things they shouldn’t be doing in the House of God.
And God sent Prophets to correct him – Why are your children doing this? But there was no Change.
And so God finally said to him in 1 Samuel 2:30 – He said: Hey Man of God, I created you and choose you that you and your family will always be Priest and serving me.
He said but now I Change my Mind – I am saying no more.
He said to Him: I choose you and your family forever to be my Pastors but now your children they will be coming to whoever I put in your Position to beg for bread.
You and your entire family, because you have refused to do my work the way it ought to be done, He said that I will remove all of you in one day.
Eli, that was the name of that Man – Powerful Man of God.
He saw a woman that was Barren Praying and said: Hey woman, what is wrong with you? That one said that I have no child.
He said: No Problem, receive a Child – And that was it.
You can be serving God – Performing Miracles, Performing Signs and Performing Wonders but if you are not doing the work Acceptably; then He will remove you!
EXAMPLE NO 2: You can read this Story in 1 Samuel 15: 1-end – His name was Saul.
God said to him: Hey King, I want you to do a work for me – Some People offended me years ago and I Promised them that one day, I will have Somebody who will come and revenge on my behalf – Their name were the Amalekites. I want you to go now and wipe them out completely.
You can read the Story of their offence in Exodus 17: 8-16.
When the children of Israel were on their way to the Promised Land – They just left Egypt and they don’t know how to fight. Then the Amalekites came and attacked them from the behind where the women and children were. And they began to kill these Innocent People.
God took Control – He allowed some of these People to at least survived.
And then He made a Promise – You have done this to me at a time of my Weakness; I will come back.
So finally, He got a King and He said: My King, go and wipe out these People.
And this Man went and Pretended that he has done the work of God – God told him kill all the People and the animals also.
And Oga saw some fat cows, lambs and goats and said: Well, I have done what God asked me to do but these cows, lambs and goats will be good food.
And so, God sent a Prophet back to him and said: Sir, I asked you to wipe out all the People and animals.
He (King) said that these animals that you see, I just want to use it as an Offering to God.
God said: When do I begin to need Goats?
You think that I don’t know your thoughts?
He said that: “To Obey is better than Sacrifice”.
Your Service to God becomes Acceptable to God based on your Motives for serving Him!
If you are serving God and your Purpose is not to do the Will of God concerning His People; there might be some Problems.
And for all of us: Small or Great, Young or Old; let us know one thing – When finally we leave this world, everything that we have done here on Earth will be examined by God.
The Bible made it clear in 1 Corinthians 3:13 – He said that when we get to Heaven, they are going to examine the works of everyone by Fire.
And so, there will be nothing to hide over there.
Oh, you think that you have done well – You think that God doesn’t see you or you think that God doesn’t know your Purpose and Motivea; – He sees all.
And on that Great Day, everything will be tested by Fire.
That is why I am Pleading with all of us – Great and Small; remember the Day of Judgment – You can amend your ways before it is too late.
We can Pretend that we are serving God and that we are doing everything that He wants us to do for His People; but you can’t deceive God!
There was a case of King David – He was going for a walk on his house’s roof and then he saw a woman who was bathing – A Beautiful woman for that matter and he fell for her.
But he found out that her husband was in the war front.
And as the King, he used his Position – Bring me that Girl!
They brought the girl to him – He slept with her and she became Pregnant.
The woman told the King that she was Pregnant – The King said that is not a Problem except your husband but I will take care of him.
He arranged it and the Man was killed.
And then he wanted to show everybody that he was a Good King – He sent for the woman and said: Come and live with me.
And everybody say: Good King, see how he takes good care of his Soldier who died in battle? He even took over the wife.
And then, the Lord sent a Prophet to him – Ha Oga, you killed and took over the wife of the Man that was Faithfully serving you? Do you think that I didn’t see you?
David fell on his face – He said: God, I have sinned, I have messed up and I made a great mistake. Oh God, have Mercy!
God said that is alright; I will forgive you and you won’t die. But it is just that the child that is coming out of that Relationship will die.
If you look at your Life everyone of us – Pastors, Evangelist etc and you discovered that your Service to God is not the kind of Service that is Acceptable to God; then you go to Him this Morning ready to restitude your way. He will forgive you and He will be Merciful!
He may Punish you but the Punishment here on Earth cannot be compared to the Punishment on the other side.
I have done the work that God asked me to do this Morning.
It is for me to say to those of you who are here and you have not even Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ; this might be a very Good opportunity to do so.
Because the Bible says that once a Man is in Christ, he is a New Creature, old things has passed away; behold all things has become New (DMC NOTES: 2 Corinthians 5:17).
His Blood Cleanses from all sins – And so His Blood can wipe away all the mistakes of the Past.
But you have to Surrender your Life to Him (God) first.
ALTAR CALL
So, if there is anyone who wants to give his/her Life to Jesus Christ, you can come now!
I will count from one (1) to ten (10) – Before I say ten (10); come out. We will cry to the Almighty God and everything will become brand New.
So, I am counting!
Those of you infront, cry to God and say: Lord have Mercy on me as I have made a lot of mistake. I want you to save my Soul, I want you to forgive all my sins, I want you to give me a Brand New Beginning and I Promised You that from now on, I will serve You Acceptably.
Go ahead and Pray!
And the rest of us, let us Stretch our hands towards these People and intercede for them:
Pray that the One who saved your own Soul will save their own Souls also.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
PRAYER FOR SALVATION
Lord God Almighty, I want to Thank You for Your Word and I want to Thank You for all these People who has come forward to Surrender their lives to You.
Father receive them in Jesus Name, have Mercy on them, forgive all their sins, let Your Blood wash them Clean, receive them into the Family of God.
And from now on, anytime that they call on You, answer them by Fire.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Halleluyah!
Now, those of you who believed that God brought you here today because He wants to do something Special in your lives; will you Please Stand and use your mouth for what it is meant for: Shout Halleluyah – Halleluyah!
CLOSING PRAYER
Almighty God once again I am Praying for all Your Children who are listening to me now wherever they may be all over the world or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC:
I Thank You for what You have done for each and everyone of us till now.
Father, we have heard Your Word and we want to serve You Acceptably;
The Ability to do so from now on give to us in Jesus Name.
And as we begin to serve You Acceptably my Father and my God; I Pray that wherever we go, Your Presence will go with us.
I Pray for everyone of Your Children: Beginning from now on, let the Heavens be opened over us.
Let us find Favour with You and find Favour with Men.
And Your Purpose for our lives, Father fulfill it in Jesus Name.
Thank You Almighty God.
