Hallelujah!
I want to appreciate the Almighty God for the Privilege to be here Tonight.
I want to Thank Daddy G.O – DMC NOTES: Pastor E.A Adeboye.
Daddy, I want to thank you for what you represent to us.
Thank you for what you represent to the Body of Christ.
And I want to thank you Sir, for coming to Otukpo (Benue State Nigeria) in 1978 and 1979 – The Impact of those Meetings shall remain forever!
Thank you Sir. Congratulations Sir in advance, for your forth coming Birthday (DMC NOTES: 2nd March 2025).
Can you Celebrate God for the Life and God’s Grace on our father-in-the-Lord?
Very, very quickly Tonight, I’ll be Speaking on the Subject: “LET THE POWER OF THE LORD COME DOWN.”
And Tonight, the Power of the Lord shall Come Down – Amen.
Anyone who believes that, say a “Loud Amen” – Amen!
My Objective Tonight, is to unravel what it takes to activate the Power of God.
The Bible says in Psalm 62:11 – God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that Power belongeth unto God.
Basically, we serve a God of Power.
When Jesus resurrected, He said: All Power is given unto me in Heaven and in Earth (DMC NOTES: Matthew 28:18).
Like our father-in-the-Lord (Daddy G.O) always says: Our God is Higher than the highest; He is Greater than the greatest; He is Mightier than the mightiest; He is Wiser than the wisest – All Might is in Him.
And this God we serve, in Psalm 150:1 the Bible says, Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in His Sanctuary: Praise Him in the Firmament of His Power.
So, we deal with the God of Power – And this God gives Power to those that are waiting for that Power.
In Isaiah 40:29, the Bible says, He giveth Power to the faint; and to them that have no Might He increaseth Strength.
Our God is a Giver of Power!
The Question here tonight is: If God is a God of Power, and He is a Giver of Power – “WHAT DO I DO TO ACCESS THE POWER OF GOD?”
What do I do for the Power of God to come down?
- FLOWING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.
In Acts 1:8, the Bible says, But ye shall receive Power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be Witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the Uttermost Part of the Earth.
A Major Secret of Power is the Holy Spirit.
In Micah 3:8, the Bible says: But truly I am full of Power by the Spirit of the LORD, and of Judgment, and of Might, to declare unto Jacob his Transgression, and to Israel his sin.
Show me a Man of the Spirit, show me a Woman of the Spirit; I will show you a Man and a Woman of Power.
Show me a Person who is filled in the Spirit, flows in the Spirit, pays attention to the voice of the Spirit; and I will show you a Man and a Woman of Power.
… Flowing in the Holy Spirit.
- CONNECTION TO THE PRESENCE OF GOD.
Carriers of the Presence of God are Carriers of Power!
In Acts 10:38, the Bible says, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power: who went about doing Good, and Healing all that were Oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
God with a Man, is the Secret of Power.
Show me Somebody who carries the Presence of God; and I will show you Somebody who is a Kingdom Power Broker and a Commander of Authority in the Realm of the Spirit.
In 1 Kings 17:1, Elijah said, And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
In other words, “For as long as I stand in His Presence, I stand in Power.”
- “For as long as I stand in His Presence, I carry Power.”
Our Challenges today in our Generation is that most of us are more Comfortable in the Presence of Men than in the Presence of God.
We are more at home in the Presence of men than in the Presence of God.
I am talking about us coming to a Point in Life that;
- When you appear somewhere, People can feel God.
- When they hear your voice, they hear His voice.
- When they see your face, they see His face.
- When there is something about you that reminds People about God.
When you are in such a Position, you don’t beg for Power and you don’t Struggle for Power, but you walk in Power.
If you can stand in the Presence of God, you are Standing in the Headquarters of God.
… So, Flowing in the Holy Spirit. Then Connection to the Presence of God – Carrying the Presence of God.
- DESPERATION AT THE PLACE OF PRAYER.
Show me a Man or a Woman who is desperate in Prayer – At the Place of Prayer; I will show you a Man of Power, a Woman of Power.
In Genesis 32:24-28 the Bible says:
And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a Man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he Prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a Prince hast thou Power with God and with Men, and hast Prevailed.
… At the Place of Prayer, Jacob got the Power to Prevail with God.
Is God speaking to anybody here tonight? Yes, to the DMC Family Members!
I see Somebody stepping into Realms of Power tonight – Amen.
If you are that one, say the loudest Amen – Amen.
The Bible says concerning Peter and John in Acts Chapter 3; that they went to the Temple at the hour of Prayer, which is the 9th Hour. It was at that Hour of Prayer that they saw the Manifestation of Power.
The Hour of Prayer is always the Hour of Power.
Show me a Person who knows Prayer, and I will show you someone who knows Power.
Know Prayer, Know Power! No Prayer, No Power.
And so, whether you want Power or not is going to be a matter of the bouyancy of your Prayer Life.
I see a Prayer Revival coming upon Somebody here Tonight and in the lives of all those reading now on the Label of DMC; as you march into a Higher realm of Power – Amen.
- THE REVELATION OF THE WORD.
The Word of God is the Word of Power.
Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, Where the word of a king is, there is Power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
When the Word of God opens to you, Power opens.
In Luke 4:32, the Bible says His Word was with Power.
In Hebrews 1:3, the Bible says He upholds all things by the Word of His Power.
In Hebrews 4:12, the Bible says, For the Word of God is quick, and Powerful, and Sharper than any twoedged sword, Piercing even to the dividing asunder of Soul and Spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the Heart.
About twenty three (23) years ago I was coming out of my office, and I saw a Young Man that was carried by about four (4) Men. They held him, chains were in his hands. And the chain was locked with four (4) Padlocks. And the Young Man was violent. His hands were already bleeding.
The four (4) Men, despite the four Padlocks on the chain, couldn’t hold him.
I was coming from the office – One of the young men who is here with me tonight, was following me from the office.
The mother of the boy stood by the Young Man and she said: He is my only son, and he is mad!
And I looked at them and I said, “Leave him!” They looked at themselves, “Leave who?” Somebody with chains and four (4) Padlocks, and he is still struggling?
But they said, “if he says we should leave him, let’s leave him.” So they left him.
Next I said, Loose Him! “Loose him like how?” Well, they looked at one another; if He says we should loose him, since he himself is here: if the Man descends on us, he’ll decend on all of us.
So they opened the first Padlock, opened the second, third and fourth.
I looked at the Man’s eyes and he looked at me.
When I saw his hands bleeding I said, sorry. He said, Thank You Sir – The Man that Nobody could hold!
I said, go on your knees. He went on his knees.
I said, say after me – I led him in the Sinner’s Prayer.
Afterwards I said, Say after me: I am not mad. I cannot be mad.
And so I said, you are Free, in Jesus’ Name. Stand up! Mother, carry your child.
He left there, adjusting his shirt on his neck; and left as a Gentleman.
Our Pastor Joseph is here with me Tonight – He followed me from the office that day.
And he said to me: Sir, what just happened? When you said, ‘leave him’ you had not Prayed.
I said, No! When I sat in the office, just a few Minutes before the Man came, I saw a Scripture – Luke 10:16 where it says: He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
So I said, when I read that Passage, what I heard is that, “The devil that cannot resist me, cannot resist you.”
What I heard is that, “My voice is your voice – Whatever you say in your voice is my voice.”
When I said, Leave him! The devil heard Jesus say, leave him.
When I said, ‘Loose him!’ The devil heard Jesus say, loose him.
And when I handed him to his mother, all that the devil was hearing was the voice of my Master in my voice.
I came out with fresh Light; and Light is reflective – “And the Light shineth in Darkness; and the Darkness comprehended it not” (DMC NOTES: John 1:5).
Is God speaking to Somebody here today? Yes, to the DMC Family Members.
The Revelation of the Word is the Secret of Power.
What you say out of the Word is a determinant of what you can manifest out in this world.
And I speak to Somebody here Tonight or those reading now on the Label of DMC: God will open your eyes to see wondrous things out of the Scripture – Amen.
“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy” (DMC NOTES: Psalm 119:18).
You are going to see things you have never seen before; and it will usher you into the Realms of Wonders – Amen.
If you believe it, say a louder Amen – Amen.
… Revelational Light for the Word, is our Secret No. 4.
- ACCESS TO THE VOICE OF GOD.
Many don’t know a Major Secret of our father-in-the-Lord (Daddy G.O) – There are Plenty Secrets actually:
- Is it his humility?
- Is it his Dedication to Prayer and Fasting?
- Or hearing the Voice of God?
… Access to the Voice of God.
The Voice of God is a Transmitter of Power.
Psalm 29:4 says, The voice of the LORD is Powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of Majesty.
The voice of the Lord transmits Power into the hearer of the voice – The voice of the Lord!
In Isaiah 30:31, the Bible says, For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.
When you hear the voice of the Lord, there is a Power you walk in – That is Strange!
We Planned for a Crusade in Jalingo (Taraba State Nigeria), when the COVID was still just there. And then the Federal Government, after they allowed Open Air Meeting before; they said, No Open Air Meeting again.
And so, by the time, we had Printed Handbills and all that. A lot of Changes came on:
I. The Religious Holiday of that Part of the Country – You know what I’m talking about (the other Religion);
It fell exactly on the date of the Crusades.
Snd that looked very confrontational – To go to that part of the Country and say you want to hold a Crusade on the day of their Festival.
II. There was another directive, that Open Air Meeting should not hold again, because of Covid resurgence.
III. And then Terrorism exploded in the Northeast.
In fact, when we arrived, the Governor of the State told us his Number One (No. 1) request is Terrorism – He said, the other day they overran the Soldiers.
So, these three (3) things were in Place and I was about to cancel the Crusade.
My wife asked me forty eight (48) hours to the Crusade – 2 days; she said, “Are we still going?” I said, I’m not sure, I don’t know, I can’t tell.
I was ready to tell them, “Crusade cancelled!”
Then I went before God to Pray.
And as I was Praying, I heard His voice: Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye Everlasting doors; and the King of Glory shall come in (DMC NOTES: Psalm 24:7).
The Summary of what I heard that day is;
- I am waiting for you there.
- He said, I am the Owner of the Earth;
- I can decide to hold My Meeting anytime I want, and anywhere I want per time.
So, my wife came and said, what happened?
I said, I just heard that we are still going – God said He is waiting for us there.
And she followed like a Good Follower.
When we landed, the Signals were everywhere – Vehicles were parked by the roadside.
We asked, what is happening? They said it’s because of Terrorism.
But Beloved Brothers and Sisters, God Spoke! He went ahead of us – The Meeting was scheduled for 5.00pm, the Stadium was filled to Overflow by 4.00pm. Opening Prayer has not started.
Our Usher called me, he said: Sir, I have not seen this type before. He said, this Place is already filled ans Opening Prayer has not yet started.
I said, “we heard God.”
And God manifested so much in that Place.
On the Last Night of the Crusade – It was a Friday; we declared that, “Since Agents of the devil don’t want this Place to rest, let their swords be turned against one another.”
Five (5) days later, there was a clash among the three (3) Major Terrorist Groups – And the Leader of the Major Group was escorted from the Land of the Living.
God moved! Because the voice of the Lord came, and we heard Him and we moved.
Somebody is going to hear the voice of the Lord – Amen.
Who is that person? The DMC Family Members.
You are going to hear the voice of the Lord – That voice of the Lord will go ahead of you; and that voice of the Lord is going to Produce Miracles in your Life (Amen)!
If you believe that, shout the loudest Amen – Amen.
… Access to the Voice of the Lord.
- WALKING IN FAITH
Faith is a trigger for Power.
The Building of Faith is the Building of Power – Faith in God: rugged Faith, reckless Faith; like the one that Peter used when he walked on water.
In Acts 6:8, the Bible talks about Stephen, that was full of Faith and Power – “And Stephen, full of Faith and Power, did great wonders and miracles among the People.”
What does that mean? You can not be full of Faith and be empty of Power.
If you are full of Faith, thrn you must be full of Power.
1 Peter 1:8 says, Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with Joy unspeakable and full of Glory:
Faith is kept through the Word.
And of course, Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing the Word of God (DMC NOTE: Romans 10:17).
- WAITING ON THE LORD.
This is what most of us know about.
But it is just one of it – But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their Strength; they shall mount up with wings as Eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (DMC NOTES: Isaiah 40:31).
Waiting on the Lord is waiting in Power.
One day the Disciples of Jesus Christ wanted to cast out a devil, and they could not. And they asked the Master, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”
In Matthew 17:21, He said, because of your Unbelief – Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by Prayer and Fasting.
The Question is not when you see a devil you go and Fast, and then come back before you can cast it out. No!
The meaning is, the Fasting that will cast out the devil of tomorrow, you did it Yesterday – You did that fasting before then.
You are not living the Life of Crisis Management; you are living a Fasted Life – You are living such a Life where you have Fasted already for the Challenges of tomorrow.
You’ve Fasted before it arrives.
Is God speaking to Somebody here, and those reading now on the Label of DMC?
I tell you my Brothers and Sisters; it is not all the time you see food that you must eat;
- There is something called “The Burden to Pray.”
- There is also a “Burden to Fast.”
Whenever you wake up in the Morning and the Breakfast is served; and you feel nothing about eating – Don’t force yourself to eat.
Whenever there is a feasting and everybody is feasting – I know you feel under obligation to eat with everybody and you don’t feel like feasting.
Don’t be under any obligation – God may be calling you into a Fast.
You may not know for how long the Fast is going to last; but He is just calling you into a Fast – And you can obey that call and move.
One day my wife came and said, when are you eating today?
I said, I don’t know, until a certain time in the Evening.
The following day she came, when are you eating today? I said, I don’t know yet – For your information, until I tell you that, “Today I will eat in the Morning, I will eat in the Afternoon” don’t think of Preparing food for me. I will be the one to tell you when to do so.
I won’t tell you the number of days; whether it’s fifty (50) days, seventy (70) days or one hundred (100) days; but I know that I felt a Burden of “No Eating for a while.”
You see, one Young man came from America – A Pastor.
He is a son of a Bishop; and I laid hands on him, and Prayed for him.
He told me, since you Prayed for me August Last Year, I have not had appetite to eat until Evening till August this Year.
He said, since then I have not been able to eat in the Morning, in the Afternoon and Evening – I just don’t feel like eating.
And he followed through with Prayer.
I believe that Somebody’s Life is Changing here Tonight, including those reading now on the Label of DMC – Amen!
Somebody’s Story is Changing from Tonight!
Somebody situation is Changing from Tonight!
If you are the one, shout the loudest Amen – Amen.
… Waiting on the Lord!
- FLOWING IN PRAISE
Praise, which is one of the Secrets of our father-in-the-Lord (Daddy G.O); is a trigger for Power.
SONG
Who is like unto Thee O LORD,
Who is like unto Thee O LORD;
Amongst the gods, who is like Thee.
Glorious in Holiness,
Fearful in Praises,
Doing Wonders Hallelujah.
You see Fearful things at the frequency of Praise.
Paul and Silas were in Prison, they Prayed- Nothing happened.
But when they Praised, all of a sudden, there was an Earthquake.
Why is it so? It is so because Psalm 22:3 says, But thou art Holy, O thou that inhabitest the Praises of Israel.
When we Praise, God just steps in there.
And when God steps in, Power just steps in.
He said in Psalm 89:15, Blessed is the People that know the Joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the Light of thy Countenance.
When you allow depression, you are deprived of Power.
Beloved, you are to follow these Percepts:
- Flowing in the Holy Spirit.
- Connection in the Presence of God.
- Desperation in the Place of Prayer.
- Revelation from the Word.
- Access to the Voice of God.
- Walking in Faith.
- Waiting on the Lord.
- Flowing in Praise.
- PUT ON THE GARMENT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.
The only thing I can tell you is to robe all the other Secrets in the Garment of Righteousness.
The Righteous are as Bold, as Strong, as Powerful, as Forceful as the Lion (DMC NOTES: Proverbs 28:1).
All of the things that I have just mentioned; if there is no Righteousness involved, it amounts to Nothing.
ALTAR CALL
This Evening, before I Pray; there are People here today, or reading now on the Label of DMC:
Who are saying Pastor; I need help. I want to make my way right with Jesus.
I want to be forgiven of my sins.
I want Jesus to be LORD over my Life.
I want today to mark a New Day in my Life.
Please, shall we all rise up on our feet if you can?
… Please, lift up your two (2) hands.
GENERAL PRAYER
- Thank the Lord for His Word for you Tonight.
Appreciate the Lord for His Word to you Tonight.
Honour the Lord for His Word to you Tonight.
Father, we give You the Praise, and we give You the Honour and we give You the Adoration.
Thank You Master.
In the Name of Jesus – Amen.
- Lift your voice and say after me:
Father, I come before you today, trusting You to Access Your Power for my Life, in the Name of Jesus.
Help me to Walk in Power.
And Thank You LORD.
In Jesus’ Precious’ Name – Amen!
Wherever you are hearing the sound of my voice; or reading now on the Label of DMC – And you want to Genuinely Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ.
Even if you were once Born Again, but you fell back into sin; you are not living right. You are rising and falling.
Or you are addicted to something – Pornography, Smoking, drinking, fraud, Gambling; then something has tied down your Life.
Not that you are a bad Person, but you want to be free.
Wherever you are, lift your voice and Pray this Prayer after me from your heart and mean it:
Say Lord Jesus, I am a Sinner. I need Your help, come into my Life.
Jesus, today I have decided to follow You – No turning back.
From today, I go forward ever, and backward never.
Thank You Lord. In Jesus’ Name – Amen.
So shall it be!
Those of you who said the Sinner’s Prayer, wave your hands!
Now, place your two (2) hands on your head, as I Pray;
CLOSING PRAYER
Father, I Pray for these ones who have just Surrendered their lives to You Genuinely.
I declare the hold of the Enemies broken!
I declare the Chains of Darkness broken.
I declare the release of Fresh Grace you all.
Receive it right now, in the Name of Jesus.
From the Crown of your head to the sole of your feet, be Free!
In Jesus’ Precious’ Name – Amen.
All of you who have just Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ, congratulations!
Kindly forward your names, your Address and Prayer Requests to our father-in-the-Lord.
He has Promised, by the Grace of God, that he would be Praying for you.

Every affliction here tonight and in the lives of those reading on the Label of DMC:
I declare, it is gone for ever!
Father, we Thank You once again for all those who have just Surrendered their lives to You.
Please, establish them!
