OPENING PRAYER

Father Almighty, You are Worthy to be PRAISED.

King of Kings, Lord of lord, the Ancient of Days, the Unchangeable Changer – You are Worthy to be PRAISED.

We are very Grateful to You thus far You have helped us in this Special Convention.

We Thank You for Souls that have been saved; we Thank You for the People You have already Healed;

We Thank You for those who will receive their own Hearings tonight and while reading on the Label of DMC.

And we Thank You for ALL the Captives that You will also Set Free.

… Please, accept our Thanks, in Jesus’ Name.

Lord God Almighty, as we continue with this Your WONDERFUL Convention; Let there be more WONDERS; Let there be more MIRACLES; Let there be more SIGNS; Let there be more TESTIMONIES.

And we Pray Lord God Almighty, that the Joy of everyone of Your children will become FULL.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well, let somebody shout Hallelujah – HALLELUJAH!

God Bless You; you may Please, be seated!

We Thank God for ALL He had already done during this Convention. And we will continue to Thank Him for what He will yet do.

Tonight, we want to discuss something very, very important – Something very, very Crucial to our Journey to Heaven.

And we want to look at what we call: THE WONDERS OF COMMITMENT.

Our Bible Text is taken from MATTHEW 22:35-40.

35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

… I want read verse 37 again;

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY COMMITMENT?

Commitment actually means TOTAL and ABSOLUTE surrender – once and for all times.

A very good illustration would be the VOW that you make at a Wedding.

When you say to your Spouse: I take this man/woman ALONE, for the rest of my life – In Sickness and Health, in Wealth and in Poverty;

Everything I have from now on, is available to you – UNTIL DEATH DO US PART.

That is the simplest way we can explain COMMITMENT.

Or have have ever heard anyone say: I was Partly (half) Married to that man/woman?

… You were NOT Married – It is either you are married or you are not!

Now, the God we serve never do things in “HALF MEASURES” – No HALF MEASURES with God.

1. NO HALF BLESSING WITH GOD.

Psalms 23:5 says: “Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”

He doesn’t even stop when the cup is FULL.

2. Luke 5:1-7 – NO HALF BREAKTHROUGH WITH GOD.

If He gives you a breakthrough, it will frighten you!

Peter fished all-night, caught nothing. The Lord Jesus Christ entered into his boat, told him what to do. He caught so much fish, his Boat was full;

… And he needed a second (2nd) Boat to help him.

Peter would have been happy if his own Boat ALONE, was half full but that is not the way of God!

… He doesn’t do things in “HALF MEASURES”.

3. THERE IS NO HALF MEASURE KIND OF HEALING WITH GOD.

In 2 Kings 5:1-14; when He decided to cleanse the leprosy of Naaman, the Bible says: When Naaman came out of the River (the 7th time), his skin was restored to him like that of a BRAND NEW BABY.

When God Heals you, He doesn’t leave behind any scar at all.

The Doctors would tell you (if they are going to be honest with you) that the Best of Medicine has what is called: ‘After effects’ – A little bit something left over.

I has an Uncle who used to be an extremely successful Medical Doctor – He told me, even Doctors don’t like to take medicine because, every one you take, would leave behind something.

It will take care of the Problem, but there will be a little thing left over.

4. THERE IS NO HALF MEASURE PROMOTION WITH GOD.

When He Promotes, He Promotes Generously.

1 Samuel 2:8 tells us that when He picks up a beggar from the dunghill, He does not stop halfway until that beggar begins to sit with Kings.

He Promised you in Deuteronomy 28:13 – He said: You shall be HEAD, not the tail.

… He doesn’t Promote Halfway!

And He said: You will be ABOVE ONLY.

If He Promotes you, He does a PERMANENT JOB.

5. THERE IS NO HALFWAY DELIVERANCE WITH GOD.

In Mark 5:2-20 – When He healed that Mad man. He did such a nice job; that, that fellow became an Evangelist.

That fellow NEVER again returned to the tomb to live.

What am I saying?

I’m saying that the Blessing that God would give you during this Convention would be ABSOLUTE, and would be COMPLETE – Amen.

Your Healings will be one hundred percent (100%) Complete; your Promotion – Very, very soon, your colleagues would look at you at the TOP – Amen.

And they would know that it is God who would have taken you thus FAR!

DELIVERANCE: – When He takes care of ALL those demons bothering you, YOU WILL NEVER HEAR OF THEM AGAIN – Amen!

When He delivered the Children of Israel by the Red Sea; He said to them: “ALL the enemies you have seen tonight, you will NEVER see them again FOREVER.

And they never did because everyone of them became food for fish!

6. WHEN GOD GIVES VICTORY, IT IS ABSOLUTE.

You know, if you sit down and study 1 Samuel 17:34-51; you will notice some very interesting things – David Versus Goliath.

Not only had God Provided the stone that will knock the giant down; He had Prepared the sword that is big enough to cut off the extra big neck of Goliath – GOLIATH’S OWN SWORD!

And the Elders have a saying: Don’t Play with a Snake that has its head on.

So when God decides to take care of your enemy, He will do a thorough Job!

7. THERE IS NO HALFWAY SUPPORT FROM GOD.

Philippians 1:6 says: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will Perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

God does not take you halfway through and then withdraws – No, No, No!

He will complete what He has started.

And you know what?

8. THERE IS NO HALFWAY SALVATION WITH GOD.

It is either you are SAVED, or you are NOT!

And Hebrews 7:24-25 tells us clearly: God is ABLE to save to the UTTERMOST.

I mean, He saved the Soul of a Chief Herbalist, and turned him to a Pastor.

*… He goes all the way, no HALF MEASURES with God.

And because there is no Half Measures with Him, that is why He in turn demands COMMITMENT from you

Matthew 12:25-30, He says: It is either you are for Me or against Me.

He said, because a Kingdom that is divided against itself cannot Stand.

He said, BE COMMITTED TO ME – It is either you are for Me or you are not for ME.

There is no middle way!

So, when you hear some People say: ‘I love Jesus too, it’s just that my own Christianity is not like yours.’

The fellow is simply saying – I don’t belong to Christ. There is no other way!

But He won’t FORCE you to be committed to Him.

As a matter of fact, He says clearly in Revelations 3:25-16.

He says: I want you to make up your mind – Do you want to be HOT or do you want to be COLD? Just choose one (1).

If you are hot, be HOT; If you are cold, be COLD.

He says, what I don’t want is LUKEWARMNESS!

If you are Lukewarm, He says, I will get rid of you!

Like I use to tell those of you that God has given me the opportunity to visit.

… And I Pray that I will be able to visit many of you more – before the Lord’s Returns – Amen.

I always say: Don’t give me a ‘WARM’ Welcome – Either make the Welcome COLD so that I will know, I am not wanted here or make it HOT because my God does not like anything WARM.

It is either COLD or HOT.

So, when you want to Praise Him; when I ask you to shout Hallelujah – and you are sluggish about it; it upsets!

If you don’t want to Praise Him, keep your mouth SHUT – He doesn’t mind!

If you want to Praise Him, Praise Him in such a manner, He Himself would say – Alright, that is Good!

… Do I hear somebody SHOUT Hallelujah? – HALLELUJAH!

In Deuteronomy 30:19-20, He gives you an advice.

He says: “I call Heaven and Earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you Life and Death, Blessing and Cursing: therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that both thou and thy Seed may live:”

… He says: I advice you to CHOOSE LIFE, that both thou and thy Seed may LIVE.

CHOOSE! – He won’t force you.

Let us now look at THE WONDERS OF COMMITMENT.

1. If you Commit YOUR BODY to Him; What is most likely to happen?

In Romans 12:1 He says: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the Mercies of God, that ye Present your bodies a Living Sacrifice, Holy, Acceptable unto God, which is your Reasonable Service.”

In other words, you say to God: My BODY, I commit it to You, it is YOURS from now on – Nothing will be allowed in this BODY of mine that is going to bring You Displeasure.

Daniel 1:1-20; Daniel and some of his friends were taken as slaves to a Foreign Land.

When they got there, the King said to the one in charged: I want you to get some of these boys, go through them, find those who are Good Looking; give them my food, let them drink my wine – Feed them very well, and then Teach them.

They came to Daniel, Daniel said: Thank you Sir, I know I’m in a Strange Land; but my BODY is COMMITTED to God. I can’t eat anything offered to IDOL. I’m sorry Sir!

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said, we are with you Sir.

The Bible says: They refused to defile themselves with the King’s Meat and the King’s Wine.

Don’t listen to those who tell you that: God is only interested in your spirit and that you can do what you like with your Body.

That is not my GOD.

When He owns you, He wants to own you one hundred Percent (100%).

How many husband is going to shout for Joy when he discovered that his wife has been messing around?

How many wife would jump for Joy when she hears that her husband has been Unfaithful?

My body belongs to my wife, her body belongs to me – I won’t defile that Body.

God wants you to Present your body as a Living Sacrifice.

There are food you would not eat because you know this food has been offered to Idols.

WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END OF THE DAY?

Daniel and his friends were looking far, far better than those who were eating the King’s Meat, drinking the King’s Wine; and they were Wiser than them all.

But it doesn’t end there!

By the time you get to Daniel 6:1-end – When the lions saw Daniel coming, something told them: This body is not your food; this body has been COMMITTED to the Almighty God. Don’t touch him, or else the One who made him would kill you.

So, he spent a whole night Playing with lions – as if they were “Puppy Dogs”.

In Daniel 3:1-3; Do you know why they threw Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego into the fiery furnace and the fire didn’t burn them?

Because the colour of the Fiery Furnace is the same as the colour of the Wine – These bodies have not been defiled by the Wine of the King.

And the Fire said, we cannot burn these bodies.

2. WHAT ABOUT YOUR SOUL? When you Love Him with all your Soul; when you COMMIT your Soul to Him because our Bible Text (Matthew 22:35-40) says: You are to Love the Lord with all your Soul.

The Soul is talking about where you have Wisdom, Understanding, etc.

You would discovered that your Wisdom would become difficult to explain.

You know, Daniel said in the Book of Daniel 2:20-22 (take time to read the whole of that Chapter 2):

The King had a Dream and he forgot the dream. Then he called his Wise men – Come and tell me my Dream and the Interpretation.

They said: Nobody ever asked this of any Wise Man – Tell us the Dream, and we will give you the Interpretation.

And the King said No! – If I tell you the dream, you can tell me whatever you want, and then call it the Interpretation.

… God has caught you now: tell me the Dream First!

When Daniel heard, he said: Give us time. There is a God in Heaven who knows ALL THINGS – Our SOULS are COMMITTED to Him and He will be Committed to our SOULS!

That Night, the King’s Dream was revealed to him.

And Daniel wrote in the Book of Daniel 2: 20-21 – He said: It is GOD who gives Wisdom to the Wise.”

And James 1:5 says: When He is giving you Wisdom, He gives liberally. God is not Stingy.

When another situation arose in the Book of Daniel 5:1-end; they saw the finger of a Man, and they could not see the Man who wrote something on the wall of the King.

And nobody could even read it, talk more of interpreting it.

When they brought in Daniel, the King said: I have heard of thee, that Light, Understanding, Excellent Wisdom is in thee.

You commit your Soul to Him, and He will give you EXCELLENT WISDOM.

3. WHAT ABOUT YOU COMMITTING YOUR SPIRIT TO HIM?

… And Loving Him with ALL YOUR SPIRIT.

Well, a Good Example would be found in Numbers 14:20-24.

The Almighty God said: Caleb followed me wholly, his Spirit is different from the others. He said, he will get to the Promised Land.

You commit your SPIRIT to Him, He will make sure that you reach your Goal.

When you read Daniel 6:1-3; the Bible tells us of a King who had one hundred and twenty (120) Provinces.

And so he chose one hundred and twenty (120) Princes to look after the Provinces.

And then out of the one hundred and twenty (120) Princes, he chose Three (3) Presidents to supervise the Provinces.

And then out of the Three (3) he said there is only one (1) fellow who would be the Leader of them ALL – And that is Daniel.

He said, because an EXCELLENT SPIRIT was found in him.

Let me consider some Specific Examples just to let you know why you should make up your mind (once and for all) to be One Hundred Percent (100%) Committed to GOD:

1. CONSIDER JOSHUA:

Joshua said something in the Book of Joshua 24:15:

“And if it seems evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

And the Almighty God said, fine son: Ask for anything then, you will get it!

So, you find that in Joshua 10:12-14; Joshua said to God: I’m fighting Your Battle, and the sun is about to set. If the sun sets, the enemies will escape;

So Sun, I command you STAY where you are; Moon, STAY where you are.

The Bible calls it “A UNIQUE answer to Prayer:” – There was never a day like that before, never a day like that after.

Because God found somebody who said: But as for me and my house, we are one hundred Percent (100%) for the LORD.

… Let’s take another example!

2. TAKE ELIJAH:

In 1 Kings 18:1-end, Elijah stood against a whole Nation.

A whole Nation gathered together to be on the side of Baal.

Elijah said: I’m the only one here, I am one hundred Percent (100%) for God.

He said to the Nation: Make up your mind – If Jehovah is God, serve Him. If Baal is god, serve him. Why are you putting one leg in God and one leg in an Idol?

You know the rest of the Story – He PRAYED and FIRE FELL.

And How did GOD Reward this Man?

When you read 1 Kings 17:8-24; he became the first (1ST) man ever to raise somebody from the dead.

Absolutely Committed – That is what God is looking for.

3. WHAT ABOUT ELISHA?

When you read 1 Kings 19:19-21; the moment the Mantle of Elijah fell on him, the boy said: Fine, you are calling me to follow you to serve God? – Great!

I’m for You one hundred Percent (100%); I will never return to the farm.

How did God Reward him?

In 2 Kings 13:14-21; Elisha became the first (1st) fellow to raise the dead twice – Not only once but twice.

The second (2nd) was even raised after he died – He was dead, and yet was still Performing Miracles.

4. CONSIDER PETER:

In Luke 5:1-11, after God gave him that overwhelming breakthrough; the Bible said he surrendered ALL and followed Jesus Christ.

… As a matter of fact, you know he didn’t even wait to sell the fish.

But do you know what?

By the time you get to Acts 5:12-16; You would discovered that even the Shadow of Peter was Healing the sick.

Oh, it PAYS to be COMMITTED to God. – It Pays!

5. LOOK AT PAUL:

… That is another friend of mine.

In Philippians 3:5-11; the Bible says the man (Paul) said: ALL that were gain to me, I let them GO for CHRIST.

I Commit everything that I have ever considered as Gain to Him. That I might know Him. I want to be one hundred Percent (100%) Committed to Him!

And the Bible says in Acts 19:11-17; that not only did GOD Perform SPECIAL MIRACLES (Not only Miracle);

… Every Miracle is a Divine Intervention but in the case of Paul, SPECIAL MIRACLE.

If we are going to use it in Mathematical language – We will call his own Miracles, “MIRACLE SQUARE”.

He became well known, he became a Terror to the Kingdom of Darkness.

When some people tried to copy him, the demon told them: “Jesus I know, Paul I know!

I want you to come out of this Convention with demons already Testifying that they know Jesus, and they know you – AMEN.

And you know what? – Paul FINISHED WELL.

DELIVERANCE SECTION

I want to spend just two (2) more minutes to talk to those of you who have been having some trouble with the FORCES OF DARKNESS;

Some of you who know very well, that you are in one (1) form of Darkness or the other.

Do you know the result might be simply because you are NOT one hundred Percent (100%) Committed to Him?

I mean, take the example of Peter that I mentioned earlier on.

You can read the whole Chapters 5 and 12 of the Book of Acts of Apostle – They will be enough!

No Prison could hold Peter – No Prison!

They threw him to Prison the first (1st) time, an Angel came and brought him out.

They threw him to Prison the Second (2nd) time, an Angel came and brought him out.

No Prison could hold him!

And I’m believing God for those of you who might be in any form of Bondages – Tonight will be your NIGHT of TOTAL DELIVERANCE – AMEN.

Why! – Because God said something in Proverbs 8:17; He said: I Love those who LOVE ME.

GOD cannot Love you, and the enemy would hold you down – It won’t happen!

God said in the same Proverbs 8:36, He said: “It is those who HATE Me LOVE DEATH.”

WHAT IS HE SAYING?

He says CHOOSE, which one do you want? – You want to Love Me so I can LOVE YOU in return? Or you want to HATE Me – So that we will know you are the one who would prefer DEATH?

Let me tell you one thing straight: ANY Part of your life that is not Committed to God that is where you have Problems with Satan.

Any Part of your BODY, any Part of your SOUL, any Part of your SPIRIT; your Business, your Marriage – Whatever!

That is not one hundred Percent (100%) Committed to God that is where the Problems will be.

I mean, you take a very simple example: You are sitting in a room that is full of Light (at night). The Window is open and you choose to hang your hand outside the window (into the dark);

And a Snake is crawling by, and the only thing it sees hanging outside (in the dark) is your finger!

Well, if it bites the finger; the fact that the rest of your body is in the Light, is not going to save you from the Poison.

TOTAL COMMITMENT – Everything that is yours must be Committed to God.

And then, God will will take care of His own.

And before I Pray; because I’m sure some of you would say: I’m already one hundred Percent (100%) Committed to God – I have surrendered ALL to Him.

I will remind you of the Story of that young man who heard me speak like this, and came to me and said: Daddy, I have surrendered ALL to God now.

I said, really? – And he said Yes!

At that time Probably, he was the only other fellow that had a car (amongst us).

I said really?

He said, Yes Sir!

I said, Praise God! So we would be able to borrow your Car then because we want to go somewhere tomorrow for an Assignment, and we have been wondering about Transportation.

He said Ha! – Tomorrow Monday?

I said, Yes Sir!

He said, but I must go to work.

I said, I know! We just want to borrow your car for one (1) day.

He said Ha!

I smiled and said: My son, we are not going anywhere! We don’t need your Car. I just want you to know you have not surrendered ANYTHING.

Make up your mind, my Brothers and Sisters – Check your Commitment to God and take a Decision tonight or as you are reading now on The LABEL OF DMC.

You will find out that there are tremendous WONDERS in being COMMITTED to GOD.

Let’s bow our head!

ALTAR CALL

And of course, if you have not yet given your life to Jesus Christ, what are we talking about does not concern you.

… But you can give your life to Him now!

I have just explained to you: If you want to surrender your life to Him, do it and do it one hundred Percent (100%).

You can’t do it half heatedly.

So, if you want to surrender to Him one hundred Percent (100%) tonight or as you are reading now on the Label of DMC; then cry unto Him and say: Lord, save my soul, and I will serve You one hundred Percent (100%) – My BODY, my SPIRIT, my SOUL, will be Yours and Yours forever.

And the rest of us – who claimed that we are already Children of the Living God; think deeply before you Pray tonight.

Because, if you cry unto Him tonight or as you are reading now on the label of DMC, He is going to answer you by Fire.

In the meantime, Please intercede for those who are surrendering their lives to the Almighty God.

Pray that God would have Mercy on them, He would give them Salvation – The way He alone can do it (Complete and Absolute).

That their lives will become completely New – So that Old Things will Pass away, and all Things will become New for them.

Oh, Thank You Father!

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER OF SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You.

Thank You for Your Words, and Thank You for those who have made up their mind now; that they are going to surrender to You one hundred Percent (100%) – for the Salvation of their Soul.

Please Lord, let Your Blood cleanse them from ALL their sins. Let everything become Brand New for them.

Save their soul Lord, write their names in the “Book of Life”.

And Please Lord, don’t let them ever go back into sin, in Jesus’ Name.

Anytime they cry unto You from now on, my Father and my God, answer them Completely.

And Please my Father and my God: Your children who would now be really, really Committed to You; I Pray that every Blessings of Commitment would be made available to them – Absolute Healing, Absolute Deliverance, Complete Breakthrough, Joy Overflowing.

That kind of Blessing that only You can give, Father give unto them!

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

ANNOUNCEMENT

Now you have heard the Word. It is up to you to decide how you are going to relate to God from now on.

If you are going to be one hundred plPercent (100%) Committed to Him; then you can go ahead and really, really call on Him and tell Him:

Lord, I have heard that when You Heal, You Heal COMPLETELY. I’m asking because, I’m Committing my life to You Completely – Give me Total and Comprehensive Healing.

I have heard that if I have Committed to You, my Breakthrough would be Absolute.

I’m claiming that LORD, because I’m going to be one hundred Percent (100%) Committed to You.

I have been told that if I’m committed to You, my Deliverance will be Absolute; after all it is written: Whosoever the Son shall set Free, shall be FREE INDEED.

Every yokes in my life, everyone of them, destroy tonight!

Spend “Quality Time” talking to Him: Claiming ALL the WONDERS OF COMMITMENT.

And I can assure you: He Prove Himself to be More Than Sufficient, in Jesus’ Mighty Name – Amen!

Hello, everyone – God bless you – Amen.

Good to be with you today at the 68th Annual Convention of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Today we are going to be talking about what is Titled: THE ELISHA DILEMMA.

Let us Pray!

OPENING PRAYER

Father God, we thank You for today.

Thank You so much for everything that You are doing in this Season.

God we Pray Oh God that today and Lord even for the rest of the Year and beyond that Your Power, Your Grace, Your Wisdom, Your Knowledge, Your Favour – Will be our Portion, will Guide our Ways, Lord, in the Name of Jesus.

We Sanctify these Words in the Blood of Jesus.

We just ask Oh God that You just speak clearly, speak directly Oh God.

In Jesus Name we Pray – Amen.

MESSAGE

Once again, Super Pumped really excited to be with you today.

Today we are talking about: “The Elisha Dilemma”.

My name is Pastor Toby Atte and I Pastor RCCG Ignite Church in New York City.

This is talking specifically about when your Faith feels ten (10) steps behind your Reality.

The Elisha dilemma when your Faith feels ten (10) steps behind your Reality.

Now, we are talking about the man Elisha – This Guy, this Prophet, when it comes to being a living, breathing, Man of God, it doesn’t get any better than Elisha.

… Elisha was so Powerful.

1. This is the guy who I mean; he had a “Double Portion” of the guy who “Called down ‘Raw Fire’ from Heaven”.

Okay – This guy was no joke.

2. Elisha made oil not to run out of the woman’s jar.
3. Elisha raised a boy from the dead.
4. Elisha defiles the Rules of Gravity and made an axe to float.

This guy was no joke. I love this guy.

If there was ever a Man of God to look up to in terms of God, talk about Anointing I want that – He is the Man!

This guy is no joke.

Then I came across a Piece of Scripture.

I mean this is the guy again, he is up there; He is Anointed.

And I came across this Piece of Scripture that just slapped me on the left side of my face.

Okay, here it is – 2 Kings 13:14(a) (NIV) – Okay so follow me here.

Elijah, the man – He is just “Absolutely Incredible”, Anointed and then I hit this:

2 Kings 13:14(a) (NIV) – It says: Now Elisha had been suffering from the illness from which he died.

Stop the bus! Stop! Hold on!

I was still recovering from that Piece of Scripture when I found this just a few verses after that.

2 Kings 13:20-21 (NIV) – It says:

20. Elisha died and was buried. Now Moabite raiders used to enter the country every spring. 
21. Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the mans body into Elishas tomb.

Ok, trying to escape the raiders they dump the mans body in Elishas tomb.

21 (cotd) … When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.

Hold on! Stop the bus again.

You mean to tell me the same Dude, the same Prophet that had the “Double Portion” of the Anointing of somebody who “Call down Fire”; The same Prophet, the same Prophet who raised a boy from the dead; The same Prophet who did not let oil run out – This same guy died suffering from an illness that he could not get himself out of.

I mean, talk about the situation where your Faith is ways behind the reality of your life.

Maybe you felt that way before; maybe you are in that kind of situation right now – Like your Faith is slow stepping.

Like the reality of your life is over here and your Faith is all the way back there. Like your life is not reflecting your Faith. Maybe your Faith feels like is spoiling your Market right now.

… They are like: Lord, do you see how I’m living right now?

No, I’m the Person who is supposed to be getting all these blessings and nothing is happening.

Watch this hashtag (#) – BLESSED.

Hashtag (#) BLESSED right?

I even have a T-shirt like that.

It’s like you are carrying this Faith of yours like a badge of honour but for whatever reason, your life is not commensurate with the Faith that you carry!

Maybe this is you!

I know I have been in this situation before.

Maybe you are the one – You are Praying for other People when you yourself need Prayers desperately.

Maybe you are the kind of Person who is encouraging other People in the same Areas that you need encouragement.

Oh, I know I’m talking to somebody right now.

I know there is somebody watching this right now or reading on the Label of DMC and you are like: You are snapping your fingers at the screen right now because you know it’s true.

Maybe you are the one – You are helping other People in a certain Area of their lives when you yourself need help in that Particular Area.

Man, I remember years ago – I was “Job Hunting”.

I was so desperate at that Point in time; I needed to be employed – I needed that.

And guess what? – All of a sudden, I just had all kind of People coming to me for help with their careers just out of nowhere.

I was like God – You must you have a real sense of humour because clearly, You must have forgotten the kind of situation I’m in right now.

Here, I am looking for work and you are sending me People to help in their Careers.

Guess what happened? – Guess what?

Yeah, you already know what happened – Boom, boom, boom, boom.

Every Person I helped a Month, two (2) Months employed, finding jobs left, right and center.

And I’m like, wow, God, really? We gonna play like this, huh?

This is how we are gonna do it – Right?

Are you in that kind of situation?

I mean, there I was expressing my Faith. There I was working out my Faith. There I was being a “Blessing to other People” and in my own life, I needed help in those areas.

Maybe you are the one?

You are feeling and you are seeing evidence(s) around you, evidence(s) in your life for a Higher Purpose – But the reality is that when you look around, it doesn’t look like the life of somebody who has a “Higher Purpose”.

Come on somebody I know I’m talking to you right now!

If we just drop the fancy clothes for a moment, if we just drop this – If we just drop this for a moment and just get real; there are moments in your life right now where you say: Nothing is feeling wonderful right now. It kind of feels wonderful on the surface, but deep down inside I do not feel very Wonderful.

It’s like my life is over here but my Faith is slow stepping back there.

I’m like Faith, you ready?

Faith is like yeah, I’m coming.

I am like you – Come on!!

I got bills to Pay, I got rent to Pay – I’m sick. I need help, I need Deliverance. I need Solutions right now.

Come on! – Here is the word for you: “TAKE COURAGE”

And let me tell you this: This is a Critical Junction for our Generation.

This is an absolutely important Critical Point in our Generation, because you see People in our Generation are leaning away from the Faith because somehow they don’t think, they don’t feel like the Faith is working for them.

They don’t feel the Faith is working for them!

And you might; Yes, you are sure: You Musician; you Author Person; you Worker in Church; you experienced Gospel Person – You have been in Church all your life.

Yes, you I’m talking to you right now.

I bet you: There are moments when you have felt like Elisha may have felt on that sick bed.

Understand these: Even while Elisha was sick, the King came to see Elisha and Elisha was still able to express his Faith on his sick bed!

Talk about like – Let us go to the window, shoot them arrows and take down the enemies.

I mean: Elisha was still Prophesying and Performing Miracles while sick on his bed!

Oh no – Somebody just got slapped on the right side of their face right now, feeling while it’s hot!

We need a level of Maturity in our Generation where this can happen!

So, what does this mean for us?

When we are talking about this “Elisha Dilemma” – When we are talking about when your Faith feels steps behind your life; what does it all mean?

Where is the wonder?

What is so Wonderful about that?

How can we be “Full” of “Wonder” when our Faith and our lives don’t match up?

Yeah, Oh, you thought I was here to.. Oh, make you feel bad.

You thought I was here to make you feel great right now.

Well, we will get there in a moment but we just got to get some realities out in the open.

Hey, let me get into it.

Here are three (3) Things that you have to remember; that you and I have to remember when it comes to what is Wonderful about our Faith:

God can still be very much at work through you, even though He may not seems to be at work for you.

Let me say that one more time: God can still be very much at work through you, even though He does not seems to be working for you.

Now, we understand that God is always working for us.

The Bible tells us that: All things work together for the Good of those who love God and who are called according to His Purpose.

We know Fundamentally, we know Theoretically, we know and had Knowledge that God is working for us but the reality of the matter is that; it look sometimes it doesn’t feel that way.

I. I’m here to encourage somebody.

II. I’m here to tell somebody.

III. I’m here to lift somebody up – I’m here to lift somebody who might be looking very, very “Faith Filled” on the Outside side but who is going home at night and crying.

IV. I’m here to tell somebody who might be looking like they are all jazzed up, all ready to go for God on the Outside but going home at night, I’m wondering God, when will you come through for me?

I’m here to lift that kind of Person up and to let you know that God can still be very, very much at work through you, even though it may not feel that He is at work for you.

That is way it works!

In verse 15 of the 2 Kings 13 (2 Kings 13:15) – Elisha was on his sick bed and he was still making Declarations for the King.

This is needed Maturity for our Generation!

We got to get this into our heads – We have to understand this because sometimes we feel like well, if my life doesn’t feel like it, then I can’t really be of use to God and that is a lie from the Pit of Hell.

That is sometimes – The time that God can really actually use you is Perhaps when things don’t look so great for you on the Outside.

Just because the Power behind your Faith is not manifesting for you, doesn’t mean that it is “Less Potent”.

Let me say that one more time – Just because the Power behind your Faith is not manifesting for you doesn’t mean that it is “Less Potent”.

Let me tell you something: In our Generation huge Problems; in our Generation huge Issues because what we have done is we have made ourselves the “Measurement of God’s Power”.

Yeah, we are like: Yeah, don’t you hear it all the time?

Well, I don’t know about you but you know this God thing; it just isn’t working for me.

So, you know, I guess God is not filling the blank. I don’t see God working in my life.

So, I figured He is not.

I don’t see God doing this – I have been Praying for a while and God is not doing X,Y, Z. So, I don’t know.

It’s like we question God – Our Generation, we question God based on what we are getting or not getting from God.

Can you believe that this is what we do?

What we need desperately in our Generation is a Group of Believers; is a Generation of Believers, who can believe God, who can Trust God, who can Trust in the Nature of God beyond the evidence of the manifestation of that thing in our lives.

That is what we Need.

We need that correction; we need that Change of course.

Just because the Power behind your Faith is not working in you, does not mean that you are “Less Potent”.

So, Point number two (2) was talking about: *Just because it is not working out or manifesting doesn’t mean that it is “Less Potent” – Right?

It’s a lot of work but it is important here to understand that just because the Power behind your Faith that you know in your mind, knowing your heart, knowing your Spirit that is Powerful – Just because it’s not visibly working in you does not mean that you are “Less Potent”.

I really want to talk to somebody here – Who is thinking: Well, I don’t know, I’m just a Young Believer, I don’t know. I just started this God thing not too long ago. I don’t know too much Scriptures.

Ha, yeah – You know I just want to be in the background.

Yeah, maybe that is you. Or maybe it is somebody who is saying: Well, you know what, I don’t see myself “Laying Hands” on anybody; I don’t see myself Preaching the Gospel; I don’t see myself doing all these “Spiritual Activity”.

We just bless God.

If you are – We just Bless God Christian, I want to wake you up right now.

And I want to let you know that just because you don’t see a “Somersaulting Manifestation of the Power of God” in your life; that does not mean that you are “Less Potent”.

What is Wonderful about our Faith is that: God can take you as exactly where you are, and do amazing things through your life.

So, for whatever reason you find yourself in a situation where you are like – Well, whether that is because you are a New Believer, or like some of us who are watching or reading now on the Label of DMC; maybe you grew up in Church – You were the Usher, Musician, and Usher and “Door Person”.

Everywhere you have gone. No Church you have ever been to where you just sat down and ended – No, no, no, no, you are a Worker girl.

Yes, yes. Yeah, you are a Worker, bro.

You do things for God – You are in the Lord’s Army.

And sometimes whether you are on the ‘Beginning Side” – Where you are just kind of tip-toeing into this “Faith Thing”, or you have had years of depth in God; there are moments where you might find yourself saying:

I. God I don’t know, if I have much to give today.

II. God, I’m feeling a certain level of Physical or Spiritual exhaustion.

III. God, I’m too guilty to talk about it because then I don’t sound like I’m on Fire for God anymore.

I’m talking to somebody right now.

I don’t know how to Process those moments – Where I’m like:God, I want you; I don’t have much to give.

Here is God’s response to that kind of situation:

His response is: That is all I Need!

1. When you come and you say: God, I don’t have much to give today. God is like you “Showed Up” – That is all I Need!
2. When you say: I don’t have much Strength right now; I don’t feel “Spiritually Strong” right now. God is like – That is all I Need!
3. When you are saying: God, I don’t have much to give, I don’t have much to say, I don’t have the verses to give other People because I myself, I’m looking for verses to save my life; when you were saying: God, I don’t feel like laying hands on anybody right now. God is like – That is all I Need!

That is all I Need!

And that is what makes our Faith so Wonderful!

The fact that you don’t have to have a “Blessed Looking Life” in order to be blessed by God and to be a blessing to others.

We don’t have to have a “Hashtag (#) Blessed Looking Life”, for us to be blessed by God and for us to be a blessing to other People.

That is Wonderful!

That is so Wonderful about our Faith – That God is able to take the Faith at the level you and I have it. Whether it is at “Mustard Seed Level”; or whether it’s an “Oak Tree Level”. At whatever Level God is able to take that Faith and make something out of it for His Glory.

That is what makes our Faith so Wonderful.

What makes God so Wonderful is not dependent on how we feel, how we can identify – Oh, God is blessing me. Look at all the things God has done for me.

The Maturity we need in our Generation is to get a “Generation of Believers” who can say: Ok wait, well, I’m not underestimating. I’m not ignoring the fact that my life doesn’t look or feel blessed right now but I am removing myself as the Measurement of the Power of God. And that God can take that Person at your level and God can make something Wonderful out of it.

And when we look closely, we realised that God has or sometimes exist in the “Opposite of the Promise”, so that He can fulfill His Purpose.

Let me say that one more time: Sometimes God has us exist in the “Opposite Position of the Promise”, so that He can fulfill His Purpose through us.

As we take a closer look, we see that virtually every great person in the Scriptures at some moment in time went through a Period when they were on the “Opposite side of their Promise”.

Abraham and Sarah – father and mother of many nations with no children.

Rehab lineage of Jesus Christ that began in Prostitution.

Yeah, you go write that in the movie: Elisha, sick with disease, but still Performing Miracles.

David, anointed King but Pursued by the King.

… Talk about living on the “Opposite side of your Promise!

I’m here to lift somebody up that: Sometimes God will have you live on the “Opposite side of your Promise” not because you are “Less Potent”; not because His Power is “Less Potent”, but because there is a Wonderful story being written about your life.

Saul oppress the People of God for the sake of the Gospel, but Change to free People into the Gospel.

I’m here to lift somebody up right now.

If you are feeling what I’m saying right now, go ahead and just snap your fingers at this screen right now.

Jesus Christ at the Cross, destined for a Name that is above all other names – A sinless Man; for somebody who was crucified at the Cross.

… I don’t know about you – That feel Wonderful to me!

That let’s me know that it doesn’t matter what is going on in my life; it doesn’t matter what is going on in your life – The Wonder about your life is not reduced. The Wonder about God is not reduced. The Wonder of His Power is not reduced because of what is going on in your life.

Let me tell you something: I’m Preaching this Message through myself.

You might see me a little Excited, little Pumped up right now – That is because I need to hear these Words. I need to be reminded of this just like you do.

That God will Place His Power; that God will Place His Spirit; that God will Place His Love; that God will Place His Purpose; that God will Place His Vision for the world; that He will Place that Unbroken or in Broken; Unstable; Unreliable; Self Driven Vessels like you and I, and He will deposit all that so that He could Positively affect the world.

That is wonderful.

And it means that: No matter what you are going through, no matter what it looks like right now – If those things are true, and they are. It simply means that you too are Wonderful.

CONCLUSION

So I will close with this.

I don’t know what is going on in your life right now. I don’t know how the enemies has told you; has reduced your “Spiritual Self Confidence” – I’m here to tell you boldly.

CLOSING PRAYER

As you are listening to the sound; you are hearing the sound of my voice, that the Wonder of God in your life – I’m Prophesying into your life right now: That the Wonder that is yet to come; that the Wonder that is Planned for your life – You will not miss it in the Name of Jesus.

In fact, I’m here to encourage you that right now, a “Wonderful Story” is being written out – The Author is God.

He is not done with you yet. He is not done with me yet. He is not done with us yet.

And at the end of the day, we understand, we know, we remember that all things work together for the Good for those who love and who are called according to His Purpose.

And that friends; that is Wonderful!
