OPENING PRAYER

Father Almighty, we want to bless Your Name once again for the Salvation of our Souls.

We want to give You all Glory and Honour for everything that You have done for us in the Past; we want to Thank You because You are the Almighty God – You are the Lord of Host and You have never lost a War.

We give You Glory and Honour because we know that You have never been defeated; so You will not be defeated.

Please, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

We Thank You for Health; we Thank You for Strength; we Thank You for Wisdom; we Thank You for every Blessings; we Thank You Lord God Almighty because we know that as long as You are on Your Throne; all will be well.

So Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Today, as Your Word is going forth; we Pray that the Power in Your Words will bring Healings to all those who are sick and will bring Deliverance to all those who are in Captivity.

We Pray that everyone of Your children listening to us today or reading on the Label of DMC will receive “Special Divine Touch” in Jesus Name.

Thank You Almighty God.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Well, we want to Thank the Almighty God that some of us will begin to be able to Gather again from Next Sunday (21st June, 2020).

I believed that some of you are already Gathering in some Parts of the world and we believed that you will now begin to enjoy the Power of “Corporate Prayers” once again.

But as you Gather together in all those Places where you are free to Gather; Please remember those of us who cannot Gather with you yet because People like me and my wife cannot Gather with you in Lagos State (A State in Nigeria) because we are over sixty five (65) Years of age. My grandchildren cannot Gather with you yet because they are under fifteen (15) Years of age.

So, remember us in Prayers; so that very soon we will be able to join you.

And now; keep Praying now that you are able to Pray together Corporately.

I am sure that your Prayers will be far, far more effective against this Plague – So that very soon, all will be well.

For those of you who are still at home; I think I will be reaching out to you again for a couple of weeks more!

For those of you who can Gather together; now your Pastors can go back to their Assignments – If they still want to join those of us who are still lockdown; they are Welcome of course!

We are going to look at Acts of The Apostles Chapter 3 from Verses 1 to 8 (Acts 3: 1-8).

And I will be talking on: From Lockdown to Leaping Up and it will be in Series. So this will be Part 1.

BIBLE TEXT: ACTS 3:1-8

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the Temple at the Hour of Prayer, being the Ninth Hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the Temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the Temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the Temple asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and Gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the Temple, Walking, and Leaping, and Praising God.

My Prayers for everyone of you listening to us today or reading on the Label of DMC now is that very soon: YOU WILL MOVE FROM LOCKDOWN TO LEAPING UP IN JESUS NAME – AMEN!

Man is born free but he is everywhere in Chains – Was what one (1) Great Philosopher said.

The hunger for Freedom is on intense in a Man that any opportunity they have to be free; they will grab it!

For example: In Mark 5: 2-4; in the Story of the Mad Man of Gadara – As mad as he was, he wanted to be free.

The Bible said that even though he was chained by fetters of iron, he will plucked the fetters of iron because he wanted to be free.

… Every Man has a deep hunger for Freedom!

Now, there is something worst than Physical Lockdown – You will found out that one of the biggest Punishment that you can give to a Criminal is to lock him down in Prison.

But there is something worst than Physical lockdown and that is Mental Lockdown!

… And of course, the worst of them all is the Spiritual Lockdown.

For example: Let us take the example of Adam.

Adam was a very “Strong Man” according to Genesis 2: 7-15 – The Bible tells us that he was the one given the assignment of Dressing the Garden of Eden.

And the Garden of Eden if you study your Bible very well was a very Big Garden.

If we are to believed Bible Scholars; that Garden is bigger than Lagos State (A State in Nigeria) – But yet; only one Man was put in Charge.

But he wasn’t just Strong Physically; he was Strong Intellectually.

When you read Genesis 2: 19-20; you will discovered that he was the one who named all the animals, all birds – All animals of all types.

I mean this Man was Probably the Greatest Professor of Zoology.

But when he sinned; he was lockdown Mentally – With all his Mental Abilities, he became Practically a Vagabond!

So, I want to talk to you a little bit about: The Problems with Mental Lockdown because if someone is Mentally Lockdown; a lot of terrible things could happen to such a fellow.

And how do we know that something is wrong Mentally? – That someone is Mentally Lockdown?

Well, one of the Ways we can know is that the Person will begin to regard the Routine as if that is the Normal even though the Routine might be far, far from the best!

But having been Lockdown Mentally; the fellow is going to begin to treat the Routine as if that is the best that could ever happened to him.

For example: In Acts Chapter 3 that we read; if you look at Verses 2 to 3; this Lame Man regarded begging for Alms as the best thing that could ever happened to him – Everyday of his life, he had been a beggar.

So, anytime he saw someone coming; he beg for Alms.

I mean in one (1) Nation of the world; one (1) of the girls in the Church was asked a simple question: What will you like to become when you grow up?

She said: A House Help

Why? – She said because my mother was a House Help and my grandmother was a House Help.

So, as far as she was concerned; the normal thing that she could expect or Hope for is to become a House Help.

So today; I want to ask you to beware of what I will call your “Mental Enemies”

There are certain Enemies that could lock you down Mentally.

And we have to deal with that so that after the Physical Lockdown; by the Special Grace of God you will be able to “Leap Up” Mentally – Amen!

1. Mental Enemy No 1: To be Average!

To be average is the enemy of being Clever.

There are many People who are satisfied with being Average.

When I was a Lecturer in the University; there are students who will say: All I want is Let My People Go.

What that one mean is that: “Just give me ordinary Pass and let me get out of here!”

They never aimed for anything higher.

In 2 Chronicles 1: 6-12; when we talk about Solomon asking God for Wisdom.

There are many at times when some People want to make us believed that it was because Solomon was so dull that the only thing he could ask for when God asked him what he wanted was to ask for Wisdom.

But Solomon wasn’t dull.

As a matter of fact, there was a Statement I remembered very well that our Teachers used to tell us way back in the 1950’s when I was in Ilesha Grammar School in Osun State, Nigeria.

And he will say: He who does not know but knows that he does not know will soon be a Wise Man.

… Meaning the Person is already on the Way to Wisdom.

But then he will say: He who does not know and does not know that he does not know will die a Fool.

Even if Solomon wasn’t Wise; at least he realised that he wasn’t Wise – That is why he got his Way into Wisdom.

And he ended up to become one of the Wisest People who ever lived.

There are many People who are satisfied with what they call “Common Sense” but there is something far, far better than “Ordinary Common Sense”

2. Mental Enemy No 2: What is called Good Enough!

When you think things are okay now – I am okay, things are Good Enough for me, I don’t want to go any higher.

If you accept Good Enough; you may never be Great!

Let me give you an example: Take 1 Kings 19: 19-21. It tells us about the story of Elisha.

Elisha was the son of a very wealthy farmer. If we are to go about the Modern Way of looking at the story; there are twelve (12) Tractors working in the farm of his father and he was the Overseer of them all – He was the one to inherit everything.

So, when you want to talk of Good Enough; Ah that boy could say things are Good Men – I have a lot laid up for me.

If he had settled for that; he will never had become one of the Greatest Prophet that ever lived.

I mean so Great that in 2 Kings 13: 14-21; not only were Kings calling him father; the former son of the farmer could even raise the dead with his dead bones.

Are you saying that things are Good Enough now and so you don’t want to go any higher?

Please, change your Mind and do so immediately.

I have told you the story before of my Head Master way back in 1952.

My Head Master then was what they will call in those days a “Certificated Teacher”.

That means he has been to Saint Andrews Teacher’s Training College at Oyo Town in Oyo State Nigeria.

And Saint Andrews Teacher’s Training College at Oyo Town in Oyo State Nigeria in those days was more or less the University for many People.

In 1952, the then University College of Ibadan in Oyo State Nigeria (Now University of Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria) was a very Young University – Just about four (4) Years old then and very few People even dream of that.

So, to be a Graduate of Saint Andrews Teacher’s Training College at Oyo Town in Oyo State Nigeria – Oh mine, you have arrived.

I could remembered very well the day he came to take up the Job at Ifewara (A Town Osun State in Nigeria); Oh Hunters were there to welcome him with Gun Salute – He was a Big Man.

When an European Man came visiting the Village (Ifewara in Osun State, Nigeria) in those days; he was the one they called to come and interpret – Whether he interpreted correctly or not, who knows?

So, he felt on the Top of the world in 1952.

Then in 1977; I got a letter from him – At that time, I was a Lecturer at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Lagos State Nigeria.

He wrote to me and said: I heard that you, one of my former students you are now a Lecturer at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Lagos State, Nigeria.

Could you help me to Gain Admission to the University (UNILAG) to do “Associate Diploma in Education” – Not a Degree Course but a Diploma.

The world left him behind because things were Good Enough in 1952.

By 1977, “Certificated Teacher” does not mean much anymore.

Don’t let Good Enough rob you of Greatness!

3. Mental Enemy No 3: The Greatest Enemy of all is for you to think that you are already Great and you don’t need anything more!

Great is the greatest enemy of Complete.

… You can be Great but Incomplete!

For example: 2 Kings 4: 8-17; the Bible talks about a “Great Woman” of Shunem – She was Great that the Bible said she was Great.

But when the Man of God asked her: What can we do for you?

She said: I don’t need anything more – I am already Great!

… And yet, she was barren!

Great but Incomplete!

I Pray for all of you who are already feeling that you are Great that during this Period; everything else that you need to be Complete the Almighty God will reveal it to you – Amen. And give you the Grace to reach out for it – Amen.

Now from Lockdown to “Leaping Up”; Your Journey begins when:

1.You sense that what you are calling Normal is not Good Enough.

I give an example: Luke 11:1; the Disciples of Jesus Christ were having a “Nice Time”, a “Great Time” with the Lord Jesus Christ there Praying for them.

But these Disciples came to Him and say: Sir, teach us to Pray – We too want to know how to Pray.

The moment you begin to feel Normal, it could better!

2. The moment you become aware things can be much better; your Journey Upwards begins.

For example: You begin to feel that things can be “Much Better” – May be you have known “Better Days”.

In Mark 8: 22-24; the Bible tells us that a man who was blind and they brought him to Jesus Christ.

And when Jesus Christ spit on his eyes and touched him; He asked him: What do you see?

He said: Oh, I see men like trees.

That means that before he became blind; he has seen trees before – Otherwise, how will he be comparing men to trees?

He has known “Better Days” – So, he told the Lord things are not okay yet o. Things are better but I will prefer to see men as men.

When you begin to talk of the “Good Old Days”; you need to Leap Up!

You shouldn’t be talking of the “Good Old Days”; you should be thinking of the “Good New Days”; “Better New Days”.

3. When you become aware that God reserves the Best till the Last; then your Journey Upwards begins.

I mean John 2: 1-11; you know the story of the Wedding in Cana of Galilee and they ran out of wine – You know the story.

They ran out of wine, Jesus Christ changed water to wine.

The Master of Ceremony (MC) said: Oh, everybody served the best wine first but you have reserved the best wine till the last.

That is God’s Pattern – He reserves the Best till the Last!

Consider Abraham in Genesis 24: 34-35; the Bible said that Abraham was Great

But by the time you get to Isaac in Genesis 26: 12-14; the Bible said that Isaac was “Very Great”.

I am sure you heard me crying to the Almighty God – Praying that my children will be Greater than I.

… And that is you listening to me now or reading on the Label of DMC – Amen!

And you are going to be Greater than I – Amen. Whether you believed it or not because God has answered my Prayers – Amen.

I know one of my children said to me: Oh, daddy how can that be?

I mean you Fast at all times, you Pray almost all through all the night – Anyone who wants to be Greater than you oh will Probably don’t eat at all.

I said: Don’t rule out God!

He didn’t stop there; by the time you get to Genesis 30: 27-43 – You will discovered that Jacob was “Exceedingly Great”.

Grand Pa (Abraham) was Great, Pa (Isaac) was “Very Great” and then the son (Jacob) became “Exceedingly Great”.

But it didn’t stop there; when you go down the line; you will found coming out of the same family a fellow called Joseph – Greater than all of them rolled together.

I want to encourage you because just if those of you who are gathering wants to key into our Sermon; they said Sermon should not be longer than thirty (30) Minutes – So, we will make this one to be brief.

I want you to follow my example – You have heard again and again People saying: Glory be to God now we have arrived?

And I keep on telling them: We have not even started.

That should be the Principle guiding your life – Don’t get Mentally Lockdown!

The first (1st) time they told me we have arrived – We had the first (1st) Auditorium. The first (1st) Auditorium was a 100m by 50m Auditorium.

And they said: No, No; this is the biggest in Africa – We have arrived.

I told them that we have not even started.

We kept on expanding, kept on expanding – By the Grace of God because I refused to be tied down Mentally.

Your Prayers today is that the Almighty God will enlarge your Coast – Amen.

That He will sharpen your Vision – Amen.

That from Lockdown, you will soon Leap Up – Amen.

But the Journey to the Top begins on your Knees!

Everyone who has Leapt Up started being on their knees first!

So today, as soon as I close; you go on your knees and cry to the Almighty God – And say: You want to go Up, you are not satisfied with being down.

On your knees also implies to those of you who are yet to surrender your lives to Jesus Christ; you better go on your Knees and cry to Him for the Salvation of your Soul.

You are to kneel down first (1st) at the Foot of the Cross before your Upward Journey can begin

Shall we Please Pray!

So, those of you who are yet to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ; you better go on your knees now and cry unto Him for the Salvation of your Soul.

Fall down at His Feet and your Journey to the Top will begin immediately.

And those of us who are already sure of our Salvation, for one (1) Minute Please intercede for those who are yet to be Born Again – That the Almighty God who save your Soul will save their own Souls also.

Pray that the Almighty God will wash away all their sins and give them a Brand New Beginning.

Thank You my Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER.

And so my Father and my God; I want to bless Your Holy Name for Your Words and I want to Thank You for those of you who are surrendering their lives to You right now.

Everyone of them Father, Please receive them, Forgive, Save their Souls, let Your Blood wash all their sins, Receive them into the Family of God and give them a Brand New Beginning.

And Lord God Almighty, as many as of Your children that will cry to You today saying: We don’t want to stay in the Valley, we want yo move Higher Up; Lord God Almighty grant their requests.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Wonderful and ever Living God, we are Grateful to You for what You are doing in our time; Thank You for this Season!

All things work together for Good for those who He loves and those He called according to His Purpose.

We Thank You because You have called us according to Your Purpose – we say THANK YOU. To You be Glory, to You be Honour.

Thank You for the Healing Work that You have done during this Season! We Praise Your Name for ALL the People You have touched;

We Bless Your Name for lives that You have transformed. We say Thank You!

Receive Thanks and Praises in the Name of Jesus!

Father in Heaven, we are here again around the Table of Digging Deep, we Pray: The One who is the Wisdom, the One who is the Knowledge, the One who is the Word from the beginning; we ask that You will teach us today, in the Name of Jesus!

“… He sent out His Words, and His Words healeth them and delivered them ALL from all their affliction and destruction;”

We Pray that Your Word will remove affliction, destruction and remove every infirmities in our lives in the Name of Jesus!

Everyone that needs a connection with the Word for Miracle; an Intervention with the Word for Miracle; an encounter with the Word for Miracle;

We Pray that during this Particular Digging Deep Service: they will encounter You, in the Name of Jesus!

Heal the sick in the Name of Jesus; Comfort the sorrowful and bring to pass ALL the Prayer Requests of Your People across the Globe and across the Continents, in the Name of Jesus.

I Pray that as I’m standing here, God Almighty I commit my heart, my head, my mouth to You. I will not commit violence around Your Words.

Please equip me to be able to speak by the Holy Spirit, in the the Name of Jesus.

Today we want to look at “A SHIFT FOR KINGDOM RELEVANCE

Matthew 5:13 – I will read from New King James Version and New International Version (just one verse);

“You are the salt of the Earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”

… That’s NKJV!

NIV – “You are the salt of the Earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.”

… A Shift for Kingdom Relevance!

The Challenge of the Present, especially the Generation we live is to achieve relevance in the fast moving, growing world.

The world we live has become so dynamic, that things are changing and revolving; and moving at a rate that makes People fall behind easily.

New Things are been developed on a daily basis and except you CHANGE and you SHIFT – you cannot do anything meaningful in life.

And so, because the world is going through dynamic changes; what is adequate today, they upgrade it; what they have today, they add to it.

Now, same thing about the Kingdom: The Kingdom Assignment is not left out in this increasing Needs to reposition ourselves to be able to stay relevant in the given Pursuit.

… I mean, to be able to fulfill our Mandate!

Now, the word RELEVANCE means: To be Current, to be Significant or Pertinent to a Group or Community on a given Assignment.

And the word RELEVANT means the degree at which something is useful to what is happening.

And so when we talk about REPOSITIONING, we are talking about taking a different Position – to CHANGE or to SHIFT.

And so, it is very, very important that even as People who are children of God; People who are People of God; that we need to CHANGE.

To REFUSE to Change is saying to yourself that you want to become IRRELEVANT.

… Very, very crucial to look at that!

And there are two (2) Major Foundational Areas; two (2) Fundamental Areas of Change or Shift.

1. Now, A Shift in our Mindset.

The other week we talked about a Shift in Mindset.

Proverbs 23:7 says: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

So, your thought will make you and Produce a Good Life for you;

The State of your thought determines the state of your life.

Your “Thinking Pattern” will determine your “Future Pattern” – Life is defined by what is in your heart.

… That is not what we want to do today.

But there are Two (2) Major Areas; the first is your Mindset.

2. The second (2nd) is what we want to dwell on today – A shift in Methodology.

Someone said: “To keep doing things the same way and expecting different results is said to be Insanity.”

Now, our Message remains the same; however, the Mode of Presentation should Change – to meet the Current Realities!

There are things I dare not query when I was coming up as a Believer. There were things I could not even do in my father’s house. I dare not query my father when he said anything in those days!

But I discovered the children in our Present age; they will criticise anything!

If my father told me: SIT DOWN! – I sat down.

But if I tell my son or daughter: SIT DOWN! – They will say, okay!

On the floor or chair?

If I say on the chair, they say: For how long?

tell them – They say WHY?

… But I dare not say that to my father!

That is the Generation we live: Things are being questioned.

That is why, from the Passage I read (Matthew 5:13) there are FIVE (5) KEY THINGS I need to bring as Preliminary Points – as we go along.

Now, the Bible says: “Ye are the salt of the Earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”

Now, there are FIVE (5) KEY THINGS I will use as Preliminary Notes:

1. As the Salt of the Earth, we are Relevant to God’s Kingdom Agenda.
2. It is Possible to loose our Relevance.

3.There is Danger in loosing Relevance.

4. It is our Responsibility to remain Relevant.
5. It is our Relevance that brings Glory to God. HOW DO WE THEN ACHIEVE KINGDOM RELEVANCE DEMANDS?
6. You need to stay Focused on Kingdom Mandate.

And what is Kingdom Mandate?

In Matthew 6:33 the Word says: ‘But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added.”

Everything! – Every other things apart from the Kingdom; they are just additions!

Now, in the Book of Matthew 28:19, Jesus was about to move to His Father’s Kingdom in Heaven. And this is what He said:

He said: “Go ye therefore, and teach all Nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

So the Central Message of the Kingdom is focused on: Soul Winning, Discipleship, Sanctification, Separation for Heaven!

Because it doesn’t matter how long you live on the Earth: Oh God let me live Long.

Okay! – Praise God!

After that what happens?

Methuselah lived close to one thousand (1,000) years – he died, anyway!

So, even if you live long – Now what will you use your longevity to do? Because it is just a case of long life!

Live long and stay RELEVANT to the Kingdom; live long and fulfil Purpose while you are here on Earth.

So, it is very easy to SHIFT our focus from the Kingdom Business to other things – So, FOCUS!

2. Have a Vision for Relevance.

Everything we are enjoying today is as a result of Vision.

No man can achieve Great Success without a Clear Vision.

Abraham at seventy five (75) Years old, had a Vision and his life became meaningful.

Even till now: I am a son of Abraham; everyone on the Earth, one way or the other, trace their lineage to Abraham.

Joseph, seventeen (17) Years old boy – he had a Vision for a bright future.

That was why he maintained his Integrity, and he got there!

Vision is your compass – Your Vision is a Driving Force.

So, you are kept by your Vision.

Your Vision is a Propeller of Achievement; your Vision is what Motivates – helps you to Plan, helps you to Communicate.

… That is very, very Crucial.

In Proverbs; the Bible says in Proverbs 29:18: “Where there’s no Vision, the People Perish.”

Of course, in this Particular Media (Dove Media) we have talked briefly about that, before.

So, Vision is seeing the Invisible and making it Visible – You just See it!

So,Vision is at the “Fore Bridge” from the Present to the Future.

The Purpose for my existence, for your existence; God’s Giving Idea – is what is called Vision.

… A clear Mental Picture for a better life.

And if you don’t have a clear Picture for a better life – You don’t have a future.

The future you cannot Picture, you can’t future in it – It is very important!

So, it is the Discovery of your Purpose: the Blueprint of God for your life.

Now, before I leave that, let me quickly say this;

There are SIX (6) THINGS ARE NOT VISION;

That People are confusing to be Vision, today.

And I want you to be clear on this one:

1. Ambition is not Vision.

Ambition is what you want to do which may not be what God wants you to become.

… What you want to become – which may not be, is not Vision!

2. DECISION:

This is what you have chosen to do and it may not be what God wants you to do.

3. IMITATION:

This is an attempt to be like someone else.

Imitation is a Limitation; – There is only one you! There is only one ‘her’.

Attempting to be like somebody else is to be a Photocopy!

And I don’t want to be a Photocopy of anybody – The original me is ME!

My nose is different from yours, my fingerprints, my laughter, my set of teeth!

I used to say to People: I like my oblong face, wide mouth, big teeth. Because you see, I’m wonderfully and fearfully made!

So I like it!

I do not want to be you – I just enjoy it the way God made me.

THANK YOU JESUS – the way You made me!

4. COMPETITION:

This is an attempt to catch up with somebody and Probably outdo him or her.

No! You don’t need it!

It is Good to use People to motivate yourself; you don’t need to compete.

They use to say in my Place – “The Sky is wide enough for birds to fly without collision!”

… So, Competition is not Vision!

5. REACTION:

This is born out of circumstances.

This is born out of circumstantial events – You are just reacting to certain things that happened.

It us not Vision.

6.COERCION:

This is born out of Pressure from others.

… Ambition, Decision, Imitation, Competition, Reaction, and Coercion – They are not Vision!

VISION is the discovery of God’s Plan for your life; the CLEAR Mental Picture of a better Future.

And you will have it!

Nobody will create your future – You will create it.

For everyone in this great Organization, and you are a Man of God, a Worker in the Vineyard, you are a Believer in your Local Assembly – You are the one to make yourself relevant.

… It is the Vision of what you see, that can happen!

Elisha saw himself doing what Elijah was doing and he got it;

You know, God is not an accidental God; to put me on the back of my father in the Lord – Daddy E.A. Adeboye.

Each time I hear Testimonies I say, Oh God, remember me also – This my father in Lord has been Praying that his children will be greater than him.

Even if I am not greater than him, let me be equal to him and do something – Wave hands, and thousands of People would be healed.

Eh! Just a Word, and somebody in the hospital would be delivered – Eeeh!

That is what I want to be!

And nobody will do it for you; only you can do it!

Sir/Ma, when Noah had a Vision, he could resist the flood! But when he lost it – Alcohol conquered him.

Samson, when he had a Vision: one man Soldier defended Israel for over twenty (20) years! But when he lost the Vision (on the lap of Delilah) his eyes were removed – He LOST his Vision!

When Saul had a Vision, he conquered the Kingdoms, he prophesied among the Prophets! But when he lost it, he consulted the witch of Endor.

David, Man of Battle; when he had a Vision – I mean, he was moving from my Battle to another, and he was conquering battles! But he didn’t conquer his own lust – He became a murderer.

Solomon had a Vision, he was operating in Wisdom! But his “Jumping eyes for Beautiful Ladies and Wives ruined him.

Elijah, when had a Vision on Mount Carmel (among over 400 Prophets); he called down FIRE! But when he lost the Vision, he was running from one (1) Witch.

… He said: God kill me now – I’m not better than my fathers!

Uzzah the King, when he had a Vision, he was following after God! But when he lost the Vision, his Greatness and Wealth were ruined.

Look at Peter – Peter, when he had a Vision, he was ready to die for Christ! But when he lost it, he denied Christ three (3) times and said ‘if I ever met that man!’

Demas – There are Chronicles of People in the Bible; when they had a Vision, their life was very straightened.

When Demas had a Vision, he was fervent and very effective! But when he lost it the Vision, he went back to the world.

My Prayer for everyone listening to me (or reading this message now on the Label of DMC) Male or Female, young or old; is that you will not loose your Vision in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

According to History; Alexander the Great had a Vision (as a very young man) he conquered the whole world. But he could not conquer his appetite for Alcohol – He could not!

So, it is only Vision that gives you a sense of Meaning; a sense of Purpose.

Remember to keep focus on where you are going; refuse to be discouraged, refuse to be distracted – because whatever you see now in life, all soon pass away!

3. Consistence Self Development

I’m talking about: *How do you remain Relevant?

No. 1 is – you need to stay focused on the Kingdom Agenda.

No. 2 is – to have a Vision for Relevance.

No. 3 is – Consistent Self Development.

In the Book of Ecclesiastes 10:10, NKJV says: “If an axe is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.”

To stay Relevant: you need to keep sharpening yourself!

Three (3) Areas to Consider- you need to develop yourself: Spiritually, Physically and Mentally.

I. SPIRITUAL SELF DEVELOPMENT: You need to develop Daily Priority of Daily Devotion; Regular Fasting, intake of Scriptures from time to time, Regular Retreats. Evangelism is a must, of course Prayer is a must!

1 Peter 2:2 says: “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby:”

II. Another area is the PHYSICAL SELF DEVELOPMENT:

I’m still talking about Consistent Self Development; Spiritual Self Development is No. I; No. II is Physical Self Development.

1 Samuel 16:7c “for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.”

Nobody knows what is in your heart – You are judged by Physical appearance.

And so, make it a Point to look your Best!

I don’t mean to be essentially worldly; to overdo things – No, No, No!

You need to stay in shape: your body and mind must work together.

You must do a regular exercise; watch your meal and laugh – Keep a smiling face.

That is why I don’t like People who keep their hairs unkept.

I say to People: Dress according to where you are going.

People are trusting God for a Life Partner and you dress like a grandmother;

… No wonder it is the grandfathers that are seeing Vision!

You need to look smart!

The way you dress is the way you will be addressed.

Nobody sees your heart, but they can see you.

The first appearance makes lasting impression! – You don’t have a second chance to make the first appearance. So, appear WELL.

III. Then Mental Development is the last one.

For most People, Mental Development stops at a tender age.

They have got all the degrees, everything they want to get in life – they have got all the Papers!

I mean, they have learned so much, before they are eighteen (18)!

Let me say to you: Please: I beg of you Technology is changing rapidly.

You don’t expect your Church, or your Business or your Family or your life to remain the same in this Post COVID-19 era – No!

Commit yourself to learning constantly throughout your life.

Self Development makes it Possible to achieve desired results!

Self Development determines how much you can do with the little.

Be developed: Spiritual, Physical and Mentally.

4. BE KNOWLEDGEABLE

… That is No. 4 of the Main Points – Be Knowledgeable!

Hosea 4:6 says: “My People are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no Priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

… My People, not unbelievers – My People (God’s People, not Unbelievers).

Now, John 8:32 says: “And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.”

You must commit your life to learning; attend Seminars and Conferences. Listen to Tapes of Seasoned Preachers;

By the Grace of God we have a father – Pastor E.A Adeboye – Daddy E.A is loaded almost in every area: Holiness, Deliverance, Marriage, Prosperity. You name it!

Listen to his Massages, read his Books!

When I think on any subject, I just sit down with the Bible and pick up one of his Books and Read.

And I make my own Notes.

Never stop reading, develop yourself.

Knowledge is the key!

Look, Ignorance is synonyms to darkness.

For Light to SHINE – Ignorance must be dealt with.

Now, there are MAJOR FIVE (5) AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE YOU NEED TO HAVE:

1. Now, you need to have the Knowledge of yourself.

Who are you? – Genesis 1:26-28

2. You need to have the Knowledge of God.

Daniel 11:32 says: “…They that do know their God shall be Strong, and do Exploits.”

3. You need to have the Knowledge of your enemy.

Colossian 2:15 says: “Having disarmed Principalities and Powers, He made a Public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

… The devil had been defeated!

4. You need to have a Knowledge of the Organisation’s you belong – Know the demands of your Organization.

Somebody said: They didn’t Promote me, they didn’t look at me.

Do you know what the Organization wants?

What do you know about the Organization?

What do you know about the Church?

What do know àbout your Company?

5. And of course, you need to have the knowledge of your Environment.

You need to know something Prevailing in your environment.

I still remembered like yesterday, I means, very, very instructing: I was going to the North in Public Transport. And I was coming from Kaduna at that time, along the way I gave a Tract to somebody sitting beside me. He looked at me and threw it away!

But when we crossed the core North to South West, he spoke to me in Hausa dialect. He said: my friend, I hope you are not angry with me?

I said No!

He said, can you bring that Tract now?

You know, the difference between the two (2) environments – One environment, another environment.

There is environment that is concentrated with certain things; there is the other environment.

… So you need to know the environment.

5. Put Your Priorities in PERSPECTIVES;

In the Book of Matthew 6:32-33; Now, to be Relevant in the Kingdom, you need to keep Priority – Do the first thing FIRST!

1. And so, No. 1 Priority – You need to have a Personal Relationship with God.

Deuteronomy 6:5; Personal Relationship with God – “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”

2. No. 2 Priority – Your Family.

1 Timothy 5:8 the Bible says: “But if any Provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the Faith, and is worse than an infidel.”

I often say to People: Daddy’s Money is OUR money; Mummy’s money is HER money – If she determines to share in the responsibility, fine!

But don’t compel your wife to share responsibility – let her be!

Somebody says, oh where is it written?

It is there: He that will not Provide for the house, it says he has denied Faith.

… I’m not the one who wrote it.

3. Priority in your God’s given Assignments. THERE ARE THREE (3) ‘A’s OF RELEVANCE:

I want you to take Note of, as I will be looking at certain Things:

1. The first A is – ATTITUDE.

Your Attitude (your disposition) will either give you away.

Please, the Bible says in Philippians 2:5 says: Let this mind be in you…

The Mind he is talking about here is the mind of humility; Mind that tolerates people! Exhibit a Positive Attitude. Patience, Meekness.

Someone said: “Your Attitude determine your Altitude!

Put that in Mind; I’m talking about three (3) ‘A’s.

2. The second A is – ANOINTING.

Anointing breaks the yoke; it is an Indispensable Tool for accomplishments of your Divine Assignments.

You can’t go far without the Power of God – I mean, in this wicked world.

Isaiah 10:27 says: Anointing breaks the yoke.

1 John 2:27 says: “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things.”

3. The third A is – ASSOCIATION.

Choose your Company – No man is an Island.

You can’t survive in isolation but you must choose your friends in a discrete way.

There are “Negative People” around; there are “Minus People” around.

There are those who: Delete, Subtract, Divide and there are those who Add to you and Multiply you.

So you have People who lift you. You have Pillars and Caterpillars.

If you have Pillars as friends – they will lift you up!

You have caterpillars, Ah! Get ready to go down.

Select your Association very carefully – Very important!

You must find somebody who motivates you to the next level.

And not People who will tell you: You can’t do it! Even your accent, that is not how to say it!

Who doesn’t have accent? Don’t you have? Everybody has!

Thank God for my own accent – I don’t have any apology! You also have!

And I don’t want to be like you! I have told you; I don’t want to be a Photocopy!

WHAT MAKES BELIEVER LOOSE RELEVANCE?

… And I will be rounding up now!

Now, what makes Believer loose Relevance?

I will just mention five (5) and I won’t discuss them:

1. Ignorance of the environment – Ephesians 4:18.
2. Tradition of Men – Colossians 2:8.
3. Deviation from Core Assignment – 1 Kings 13:18-21. That Young Prophet that was sent and he missed it.
4. Lack of Focus – 1 Kings 20:40.
5. And Pretence – Acts 8:18-20 (Simon the Sorcerer). WHAT ARE THE DANGERS OF LOSING RELEVANCE?

According to our Text (Matthew 5:13). Now, three (3) things.

And Please take note; if you have not noted anything from this Study. Please take of this one;

1. You will be CAST AWAY – No longer to be reckoned with.

You will loose Relevance!

There iß a Purpose for your birth..There is a Purpose why those who tried to kill you earlier could not.

But if you loose Relevance, you will be cast away – no longer to be reckoned with.

2. You will become stepping ground for Men.
3. You will loose your Joy and live everyday Complaining. Conclusion; We need to Reposition ourselves in other to remain Relevant in the Kingdom Assignment.

You must keep MOVING; you must keep GOING – to remain RELEVANT.

Sometimes you are up there, sometimes you are in the Valley! But there is a Purpose for bringing you here.

You are not saved, you are born just for the fun of it! You are not born into the Family of God, you are born just for the fun of it!

You are not in this Organization, you are not born into that family for the sake of it – You must STAY RELEVANT!

ALTAR CALL

Let me say to those who are not Born Again: you haven’t started at all.

But you can say: Lord: I hide my head in You! Because you have a Purpose – you are not a Local Champion.

Jeremiah 1:4-5 says: You are destined to be on top.

Genesis 1:28 also says: You are destined to be on TOP.

… But you can start until you lay the Foundation.

If you want to give your life to JESUS Christ, bow your head and say God: Save me, forgive my sins.

And if you are there; you aree marking the time; tell the Lord enough is enough of being in the Middle! Let me contact my RELEVANCE.

Let’s bow as we Pray: I give just ten (10) seconds to be able to do the Prayer. And I will Pray with you now;

Ah! Thank You Father, we Bless Your Name.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we Pray – Amen!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING

Father Eternal, we Thank You for the People who are confessing the Lord, confessing their sins;

I Pray that You will forgive them their sins and wash away their iniquities in the Name of Jesus!

Write their names in the ‘Book of Life.’

From this day on, the Power of Sonship (if the language allows it) – Power of daughtership will enter them.

They will serve You with vigour and vitality. And Lord, in life, they will fulfil Destiny and Purpose.

And everyone who has been marking time – Sitting on the Edge; I Pray that from this day: the Power of God will trigger Revival in them!

They will stay RELEVANT – in their Company, in the Church, in the Home, in their Community –
to the Glory of the Name of the Lord!

And all of us, when we eventually finish our race on Earth; because we know we will finish well and make it there at last;

When we finished, and we finish well – May we make it to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Everyone that needs Healing; wherever they are; let them receive HEALINGS!

OPENING PRAYER

Eternal Rock of Ages; we just want to worship You. We want You to know that we love You and we appreciate You.

We Thank You for everything that you have done for us in the Past. We Thank You because whatever we are, whatever we have, whatever we shall be – They are all from you.

Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Father, we are Praying that this particular Divine Encounter Program will be one that none of Your children will ever forget.

Because of the Peculiarity of the situation Lord God Almighty; we Pray that the Encounter we will have with You today will be very Peculiar.

We will be looking at Genesis 26: 1-6 and 12-14.

1 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.

2 And the LORD appeared unto him, (My Prayer is that God will appear to you today – Amen)

and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:

3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;

4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

6 And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:

12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

The Bible teaches us that: There are three (3) Heavens according to 2 Corinthians 12: 2-4

1. The First (1st) Heaven is the one we see during the Day – It goes all the say to the Sun.
2. The Second (2nd) Heaven we can only see at Night – It goes all the way to the Stars and beyond.
3. The Third (3rd) Heaven we can only see by Faith because the Bible calls it Paradise.

Now, the First (1st) Heaven has “Tremendous Influence” upon the Earth – The air we breath, the rain that must fall on our land if we are to have any Products etc.

But the Second (2nd) Heaven has even “Greater Influence” – The one we see at Night.

And for example in Matthew 2: 1-11; it was the Star that led the Wise Men to where Jesus Christ was born.

Night Time therefore is a very “Crucial Time”:

1. It is a time when you see the Second (2nd) Heaven.
2. Night Time is the time of Dreams.
3. It is a time of very often of “Divine Visitations”.

So, when you hear that God Visited So and So; usually (I’m not saying always but usually); it is Night Time (During Dreams).

For example: In 2 Chronicles 1: 6-12 – After Solomon offered a thousand (1,000) burnt Offerings to God; God visited him.

And while God was visiting him and God was asking him: What do you want et cetera, et cetera; he didn’t even know that he was dreaming.

It was after he woke up that he said: Behold it was a Dream.

The reason why I’m saying this to you is because: The world is Passing through a “Night Time”. And i think I heard something during the Holy Ghost Service Night:

That during this “Night Time” of the lockdown the Star of someone is about to Rise – Amen!

So, I have a feeling that during this Period; the Almighty God is about to Pay someone a Visit – Amen; and give him an Idea, a Dream, a Proposition – Something that is going to Change the Life of that Fellow forever – Amen.

I want you to remember something that happened in Genesis 30: 27-43 – There was this discussion between Laban and Jacob.

Laban asked Jacob: What will be your Wages? What do you want me to Pay you for working for me?

And they reached an Agreement.

Jacob said: Anytime your flocks will give birth – either the cow or whatever; has white spots or white rings. Anytime the animals is not Plain in colour – That will be my own Wages.

Oh, the Uncle said: Wonderful!

So, he went through all his flocks – Everything that has speckles or spots; he removed them far away and left only all those which has ordinary colour except brown because Jacob included Brown in what will be his Wages.

… So he said: Let us see how the remainder will Produce children that are speckled or spotted.

Then the Bible tells us that anytime the animals come to drink; Jacob will get some woods – calve white stripes and white spots on them and Place it where these animals will drink.

And the animals will conceived where they are drinking looking at these white stripped and spotted rods.

And when they began to deliver; Oh, they produced children that were speckled and spotted.

Any anytime a weak animal is coming to drink; he will remove the rods. When the animals are strong, he will put the rods.

So, at the end of the day; he got the strong ones.

Now, anyone will asked: Where does this boy get this Idea from?

He explained it to us in Genesis 31: 10-13 – He said: GOD SHOWED HIM IN A DREAM! – The Idea came to in a Dream!

During this lockdown; God is going to give someone an Idea – Amen.

That as you Practised this Idea, as you put this into Action; you will end up becoming “Extremely Successful” – Amen.

Such Breakthroughs will be such that People will ask you: How do you cone about this?

This is a Time to “Dream Big”; this is a Time to open to God dropping an Idea into your Spirit.

And then, as soon as the lockdown is over, you JUMP INTO ACTION!

Because Dreams and Ideas: No matter how Beautiful they may be, no matter how Divine they may be; will not work themselves – You have to work them!

Prophecies don’t work themselves!

When God speaks to you and said that there is someone here: This, this, this is what I’m going to do; He says get to Action.

The Almighty God said to Isaac in the Bible Text that we read: Stay here, don’t go anywhere! – This is where I’m going to Bless you mightily.

And what was it that Isaac did? – He SOWED!

If you expect God to do everything without you moving a finger – With all Humility, I will call your Faith an “Irresponsible Faith”.

God expects you to be Responsible.

If you don’t Play your Part; you do not commit God to do His Own Part.

… Isaac sowed that Year – And in that very Year that God spoke to him and he reaped that Year an “Hundred-Folds”.

I wasn’t there but reading the Scriptures; you can see that the following Years, he sowed more and more and more.

Because the Bible said that after he Wax Great – I can spend one (1) Hour on that Statement alone.

“Wax Great” means to become Great by Force.

He became “Irresistibly Great” because the circumstances around him was Negative.

He still went forward – He didn’t stop after he “Wax Great”. He didn’t just go forward – He grew, he kept on moving; Acting; Repeating what had worked for him in the Past until he became “Very Great”!

Oh, for sure God will send Help – Amen.

After He has shown you what He wants you to do; He will send Help!

… But He will only send Help after you have Proved to Him that you will be Responsible.

Let me take one more example very quickly: Take the example of Joseph.

When did He discovered his Destiny? – It was at Night. He had two (2) Dreams.

In the first (1st) Dream, he saw his brothers bowing down to him – Symbolically.

In the Second (2nd) Dream, he saw that it was not just his brothers – The entire family will come.

And then you know what followed – The brothers were so determined that this Dream won’t come to Past. They tried to kill him – God didn’t allowed.

Now, I’m Praying for everyone of you – No matter how hard the enemies may tried; they won’t kill your Dreams – Amen.

But then this boy Proved to God – I am committed to you Oh God.

So that by the time we got to Genesis 39: 1-9; when all of a sudden the boy began to Prosper even as a Slave and the wife of the Master says: Come and lie with me.

He said: Ah, ah; the One who gave me the Dream is Holy.

What he said to that woman was: How can I do this thing and sin against God – Sin against the One who is in control of my Destiny.

… I won’t do it.

He landed in Prison – He got to Prison, God was still with him.

And then one Night came – another Night and the only one God could use to Propel this Man to the fulfilment of his Destiny has two (2) Dreams again at Night.

By the following day; the Prisoner has become a Prime Minister.

The God who did his own; will do your own too – Amen.

I have deliberately decided to make this Message a very, very brief Message so that if Possible you memorise it because your future depends on it.

God will give you a Dream – Amen. He will give you an Idea – Amen. But He expects you to Jump into Action as soon as the lockdown is over and begin to work on all these Ideas.

A lot of the People you hear about today – Who are extremely successful had only one (1) Idea.

If you don’t believed me; one day if you meet Bill Gate ask him – Just one idea and the whole world will Pay attention when Bill Gate is talking (Just one idea).

… But Act and Act quickly!

One of my Pastors was the one who was lamenting – He was on his way to Church in Ebute Metta (RCCG National Headquarters Parish in Lagos Nigeria) Years ago and he saw a building which they put “To Let”. He looked at the building and said this building will be good for a Private School and he continued on his Journey.

Three (3) Months later; he saw a Signboard – So, So, So School.

Another fellow Passed the same way, saw the same building, got the same idea and jump into Action.

He was lamenting and said that would have been my School.

I will give you just (2) Testimonies that you have heard before to round up this little talk:

1. I told you that Years ago, God spoke to me. He just asked me a question out of the Blues: Son, what kind of Pastor will you like to be?

And as a Mathematician, I didn’t answer question until I understand it.

Daddy, I’m sorry; I don’t understand the question – What do you mean sir?

Will you like to be the best?

Ah, the opposite of the best is the worst. If it is the question of the best and the worst. I will rather be the best.

Will you like to be the Greatest?

Ah, the opposite of the Greatest is the Least. I will love to be the Greatest.

Will you like to be the Richest?

Ah, I have tasted Poverty – Poverty is not good it doesn’t matter those who are Praising Poverty.

Lord, I will love to be the Best; I will love to be the Greatest; I will love to be the Richest.

I’m not there yet but Isaac didn’t get there one day.

It wasn’t long after that; that we are in a Gathering and I was about to take an Offering and He spoke to me again: Son, what kind of Pastor do you say you want to be?

This time, I was ready with the answer – The Best, the Greatest, the Richest.

And He said in that case – Why don’t you give me the highest denomination in your Pocket

At that time; the highest Naira denomination was One Hundred Naira (#100) and One Hundred Naira (#100) then was a heavy money.

I said ah! – If I didn’t know His Voice I would have said: Get thee behind me Satan!

… But I gave the money.

It was not long after that He came back again with the same question: Son, why don’t you double that Offering? – Yes Lord!

Later, He came again: Why don’t you multiply those Offering by three (3) – Yes Lord!

And then He began to respond.

… He will give you a Dream but He will demand that you Play your Part!

2. The Second (2nd) Story you have heard it before – Way back in 1979, we went to America for the Kenneth Hagin Camp Meeting.

It was a Night that they wanted to take a “Special Offering” – Thursday Night I think; “Special Offering” for their Bible College.

And a man came to the Altar and asked for Permission to speak – He called his wife and the Man of God said ok – I hope you know what you are doing.

He said I do. And he spoke to all of us who are there – we are about seventeen thousand (17,000). And he said: Brethren, I’m appealing to all of you tonight to Give very well because the Total Amount you all will Give that is what my wife and I will Give.

Ah, we all thought that he was mad.

So, those who don’t want to Give, gave just to get him into trouble.

And when we finished Giving, he said that they should count it.

They counted right there Three Million, five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,500,000).

We all said that you are in trouble.

He took the Microphone and said: Brethren, is this all you can all do?

I said in my mind: This man must know something that I don’t know.

As soon as we finished; I cornered him – Sir, what is your secret?

And he said: Years ago, I started a Company with five hundred dollars ($500) and I said to God this Company is Yours. I will not insult You by Giving you ten percent (10%) – I will give you ninety percent (90%) of my Profit while I will keep ten percent (10%). If You like Prosper the Business; if You don’t like, it is up to You – it is Your Own Business.

He said: My son, as I am talking to you; what I started with five hundred dollars ($500); last Year I had a Turnover of Fifty Million Dollars ($50,000,000).

I am not in the level of ninety percent (90%) yet but if God can be Faithful to one; since He is no Respecter of Person, I know what he did and I know what I am going to do.

In Closing; some of you will say that I have not even never heard from God before.

The first (1st) thing that He ever said to anybody is: Come Unto Me all ye that Labour and are Heavy Laden and I will give you rest.

He is talking to you now. He is saying: Come, Surrender your Life to Me, Surrender everything to Me; Let Me take over and see how far I can take you.

ALTAR CALL

So, if you are listening to me now or reading from the Label of DMC and you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ; why don’t you do so now.

Stop delaying. He can put an end to all your Labouring – Just one (1) Breakthrough from Him and the rest of your Life will be Full of Joy.

Shall we Please bow our head now in Prayers:

So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ: If you are tired of Labouring, of carrying heavy burden, you want the “Burden Bearer” to help you; Cry unto Him now.

Say Lord: Please save my Soul and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

I’m surrendering everything to You – My Life, my Family, my Business, my Present, my Future – I’m surrendering everything to You.

And the rest of you for one (1) Minute intercede for these People who are surrendering their Life to Jesus Christ.

Ask that God will give them “Genuine Salvation”. That the One who save your Soul will save their own Souls also. And that God will give them a Brand New Beginning.

… Even as I Pray – In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND FINAL BLESSINGS

My Father and my God we want to bless Your Holy Name: We Thank You for Your Words again, we Thank You for those who are surrendering their lives to You now all over the world.

Please Lord, receive them, have Mercy on them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash them Clean.

Please Lord, receive them into the Family of God, write their names in the “Book of Life”.

From now on, anytime they call on You; Please answer them by Fire.

Take away their burdens Lord and give them Peace.

Thank You my Father and my God.

And Lord God Almighty; the rest of us will be crying to You today at this Night Time in the whole world – Give us Ideas, give us “Big Dreams” and then give us the Grace Lord God Almighty to Play our Parts. Let us Prove to You that we will be “Responsible Children”.

Lord God Almighty; you can see into the hearts of Your children – You know those of them who are determined to be Your Treasurers if You will just open the Windows of Heaven and Pour in a Blessing upon them.

Please Lord, as much as are so determined that they will do Your “Absolute Will”; that they will seek the Kingdom of God and its Righteousness – Please Lord God Almighty; this very Night visit them. Give them an Idea Lord God Almighty that will bring about a “Tremendous Breakthrough” in their lives.

Thank You Almighty God.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Ancient Words we Honour You this hour, and we have come with OPEN HEARTS. Let Your Words change us; let Your Words Impart us.

Thank You for doing so! And in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

… Let the living say a good Amen – AMEN!

I like to appreciate my esteemed father in the Lord, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God – Pastor E.A Adeboye. For this great opportunity to share at this FAMILY THANKSGIVING of today.

.. Thank you so much Daddy!

PSALMS 30:11-12

11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for (HOW LONG?)

… FOR EVER!

Some live to EAT – and when you see them, you can tell that these ones, they live to eat!

Some live to QUARREL – before you spend two (2) hours with them, you would have known the stuff they are made of!

Some live (either you like it or not) to GOSSIP – and that is what they do everyday of their lives!

And of course, some live to LOVE!

But this morning, we are discussing those who LIVE TO GIVE THANKS; in what is titled – “THANKS LIVING”.

Let someone say: “THANKS LIVING” (not Thanksgiving) – Thanks Living!

Everyone let’s GO: “THANKS LIVING!”.

… FEW POINTS from our Text of today; Just two (2) POINTS:

1. The Psalmist seems to be saying here; Lord You have given me a TURNAROUND – a GREAT TURNAROUND!

… That is what we could find from that Verse 11;

“Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;”

This I supposed is equally the Testimony of everyone of us, arising from this concluded Congress of the GREAT TURNAROUND.

It was simply an Awesome time – from the very start to the very end (Clapping) – Hallelujah!

You can do better; if you are clapping for Jesus!

And if I may ask: Is there anyone – like the Psalmist (in our Text today) who can boldly say: I have experienced a GREAT TURNAROUND?

… YES! – The DMC Family Members and ALL our dearly esteemed Readers indeed!

Let your shout of Hallelujah be louder than that of your neighbour – HALLELUJAH!

2. The Psalmist seems to be telling us in verse 12 of the same Text we read that the Expectations of the One who gave me a Great Turnaround is: I should SING PRAISES and GIVE Him praise and give THANKS to Him Forever!

… That is in that Scripture I read!

It says verse 12: To the end that my Glory may sing Praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

This is another way of saying: With the Great Turnaround that was delivered me – am Constrained to do What am required to do henceforth is, THANKS LIVING.

… LIVING to give Him THANKS!

Very quickly, why do I really need to be “PRACTISING THANKS LIVING” from now on?

… Three (3) issues we will quickly examine:

1. If God did not do anything for me at the just concluded Congress, I wouldn’t have been able to Arrest Him.

… But now that MERCY has come through for. me; I will LIVE to GIVE Him THANKS!

And the word MERCY has come again and again, in the Congress that just ended: both in Words and in Songs.

We have heard it already in Songs, this morning!

Psalms 86:13 says: “For great is thy Mercy towards me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.”

So let someone who knows MERCY came through for him or her; let the person say – “I WILL LIVE TO GIVE THANKS TO GOD!”

2. Secondly, why I really need to Live to give Thanks, or Practice Thanks Living.

What you give Thanks for or about, does not only get RETAINED but gets ACCELERATED and INCREASED.

Our esteemed father in the Lord was speaking to us in the Holy Communion and Anointing Service (of yesterday – Saturday, 14th of December 2019) – on ‘How to Retain or Accelerate your Great Turnaround.

“What you give Thanks for or about, does not only get RETAINED, but gets ACCELERATED and INCREASED.”

Thank God for the GREAT TURNAROUND we have all received!

But with the little knowledge about God, we will understand and just keep getting better with our God; such that whatever He says to be great NOW; it can be greater tomorrow.

For instance, we heard ‘to have been healed of Leprosy, it can only be a Great Turnaround.

Nine (9) out of the Ten (10) Lepers. who had the Great Turnaround experience, they thought; that was all that Jesus could offer; they thought that that is All Jesus could do for them. But they were WONG!

Because the only one (1) out of the Ten (10), who became THANKFUL – Things just got better still, for him. He was made whole.

… You can read the Story there in Luke 17:11-19.

3. And the third Point is Contrary to the second Point: If you don’t remain Thankful, for what you have received, it keeps Diminishing till it will no longer be recognizable.

“If you will not remain Thankful for what you have received, it keeps Diminishing till it may no longer be recognizable”

We were told in Malachi 2:1-2; that if you will not remain Thankful; if you will not Practice Thanks Living – your Blessings, your Great Turnaround could be Cursed!

And Brethren, a Blessing that is Cursed will soon become Unrecognizable. It will become like it never came – it never occurred!

I Pray for someone listening to me, watching or reading now: What God has done in your life at this just concluded Congress; it will only get better (3ce) – Amen.

It shall never be CURSED – Amen!

It therefore becomes expedient that we leave here, and engage in THANKS LIVING.

And if you are here, and the Lord has kept you alive – when you know that on several occasions, death would have swallowed you up. His Expectation from you, as well is that you TURN your life to Him.

Roman’s 2:4 tells us:

“Or despisest thou the riches of his Goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?”

ALTAR CALL

And so if you are here and you know that you are still in your sins.

You are in today, out tomorrow. In again!

And you are just struggling. And you know this is not the kind of life God would wants you to live.

With all the Goodness He has extended to you: keeping you alive inspite of your sinfulness. And you want to use this occasion (this last Service) to let Him know I THANK YOU.

I will like you to make up your mind this morning, to give your HEART to the One who has shown you so much Love.

… Shall we rise to our feet everyone, please. In readiness to Pray:

And if you are the one I have just spoken about; you know God has been Good to you. You could have been dead, so many times over! And you want to let Him know that, LORD – I THANK YOU.

You want to give your heart to Him this morning – not your head, but your heart. Wherever you are, would you please begin to find yourself to the Altar, so that I could Pray with you.

And do it quickly – You want to give your heart to the One who has kept you alive. Please begin to come very quickly.

God bless you. I could see you coming, please Come! This is about the last opportunity – during this Great Meeting; to encounter Jesus.

… And you don’t encounter Jesus, and your life ever remain the same again.

Thank you! God bless you. Angels are rejoicing on your Behalf in Heaven. And that is why on Earth, we keep clapping, rejoicing with you, because your Destiny is about to be changed permanently.

Keep coming if you are just making up your mind. You see that some People are already going into the kingdom, and you want to join them.

Very quickly, get up from where you are and come quickly to the Altar and have an Encounter with Jesus.

One Encounter with Jesus is enough to turn your life around permanently.

Please keep coming and do so a bit faster. So that we can be able to Pray with you very, very shortly.

Thank You Precious Father! We Thank You Lord for these souls that are coming into the Kingdom this morning. I Bless Your Name Lord.

… Please keep coming, even as am going to Pray. Just keep coming. You may get here before I finish Praying.

Lord Jesus, I come to You this morning, I confess I am a sinner, I repent of my sin, I ask that You please forgive me, I give my HEART to You, I confess You as my Saviour and Lord.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Lord I Present to You these Precious ones.

You said those who come to You; you will in no wise cast out!

Lord forgive them, wash them clean in Your Blood, write their names in the “Book of Life”.

As You save their souls today, give them assurance of Salvation, uphold them till the end, and use them mightily for Your Glory.

Thank You Precious Lord! And in Jesus’ Name we have Prayed – Amen.

I like to say Congratulations to everyone of us at the Altar, giving our HEARTS to the Lord Jesus.

This morning, Something great has just happened to you, that you will not regret of.

And if you would just turn to your left, you will find a Brother holding a stick (with Counsellor written on It). Please follow him. He will take you to where the Counsellors are waiting to receive you to collect your details; your prayer request. And turn them over to our father in the Lord, so he can be Praying for you on a daily basis.

If you can just go with that Brother waiting, turn to your left and begin to go.

Thank You Precious Father for the Salvation of Souls. We give You Praise Lord!

THANKSGIVING SESSION AT THE HOLY GHOST CONGRESS 2019

If you know and you know, that things have already TURNED AROUND for you, shout the Loudest Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

We are doing two (2) things together quickly;

1. The first (1st) one is; when you wake up in the morning, anytime you wake up. And you see your father and your mother; no matter what you want to tell them; the number one (1) thing is this – You will say: “Good morning Sir and Ma”.

You will either kneel down or you prostrate!

I want us all to rise up now; I want you to say – Good morning Daddy, Good morning Mummy. May God continue to Bless you for us.

Shout a loudest Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Very soon (am not a Prophet, am a Pastor) before the end of Year 2020, somebody will sing a Song.

Don’t give Thanks now!

WHY did I say that? – After this Great Turnaround; you will be AMAZED and SURPRISED.

… And that will make you to sing that SONG (Lord, is this me?)

Who owns this house? ME – that found it difficult before, to pay my house rent? But now am a Landlord.

Ah! Me that things have Turned around for. I normally trek to work before; now my car is waiting, the key is in my hand.

Before Year 2020 ends, your Song will be: Se emi na ree? (Lord, is this me?)

… It is then you will complete the SONG, thus:

Mo wa Dupe ore ati Odun mo Odun (I have come to Thank You for Yearly Blessings)

2. It is Thanksgiving Time!

Our Daddy and our Mummy will be coming forward to give Thanks.

Ah! Brethren, let me tell you one secret; I know many of you during this Congress, you eat in the morning, at noon and in the evening. Daddy and Mummy are not eating oh – Because of us!

Because the Bible says: “WITHOUT Fasting and Prayer, these things cannot be done!”

… These things cannot TURN AROUND!

Somebody is Fasting and Praying for you; and everything is TURNING AROUND for you – you are just Enjoying.

Now, in your language, I want you to say; Baba, Mama – Daddy and Mummy GO, Thank You for all your Love and kind gestures towards us.

For what you have been doing for us, we appreciate both of you. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!

Shout a loudest Hallelujah to the Almighty God – Hallelujah!

We are now going into SPECIAL THANKSGIVING. And this is how it goes:

1. Our esteemed Daddy and Mummy, together with ALL their biological children and extended family; together with the AGOs (Retired and Serving), The Members of the Governing Council, Members of the Board of Trustees (both Retired and Serving). And all others that have been celebrating with them in Programs like this:

They will be the ones to first do the Special Thanksgiving!

2. Thereafter, ALL of us that God has visited Specially in this Program, will then come also for our own Special Thanksgiving.

3. And at the same time, the General Thanksgiving will be going on.

So the first one now is for Daddy and Mummy.

And Choir (God bless you)! You will give us Thanksgiving and Danceable Songs!

With due respect and humility, am inviting our esteemed Daddy and Mummy, our Father in the Lord, and Mother in Israel, all their biological children and extended family, to begin to come right now for the Thanksgiving.

Just for a moment, I want you to know that God is just Awesome – Absolutely Awesome.

Do you know that again this morning (Sunday, 15th of December, 2019); He has given us additional two (2) children.

It will interest you to know that both of them are boys.

So, we now have a total of forty nine (49) babies during this Holy Ghost Congress 2019 – thirty (30) Boys and nineteen (19) Girls.

…Let everybody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Please be seated for just a moment. You should be dancing on your way home very soon.

I want to thank all of you one more time because without the Sheep, there will be no Shepherd; without the People, there will be no Kabiyesi – Without People like you, there won’t be Thanksgiving Service this morning.

So for your own sake: For the fact that the Almighty God made you a very, very Special Person who can stand and wait till this very moment – Shout another big Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Because my daddy who speaks and it is done; the One who told me when I was in a room in Mushin (A city in Lagos State Nigeria) that He will build me a city and He has fulfilled His Promise; has also spoken and has said like I told you trembling yesterday that those of you who sticks with me there is no way you can end small – Amen.

If that is the only thing that He said during this Congress; I know that your Turnaround has already started.

So just one more thing as my children will say: If you want your Miracle to be Greater than that of your neighbour then let your Hallelujah be louder than that of your neighbour – Hallelujah!

I will be Praying with you in a moment but there are certain things you need to know: We don’t need a SIGN from God but from time to time; He will give us a Sign.

You will notice that on Friday (13th of December, 2019) as soon as I started speaking; Light went off.

Many of you don’t know what could cause that.

Because my Engineers by the Grace of God are very, very Efficient People. In fact all the People that works with me, they are all Excellent People – Absolutely Efficient.

What happened that early morning was that a big snake climbed one of our Electric Poles.

What a snake is doing there that kind of time I don’t know.

.. And it got ELECTROCUTED

I believed that, that is a “Great Sign” that every “Forces of Darkness” trying in any way to interfere with your Destiny they are already Electrocuted – Amen!

And I don’t know what happened but you remembered one of the Major Prayers that are Prayed is that: Darkness will leave us alone.

And you remembered one of the Prayers that we also Prayed is that: Anyone who is going to hinder us from reaching our Goals will not see the New Year – Amen.

… And God gave us a Sign!

Do I hear somebody shout a really, really big Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

So, I want to encourage you that if somebody that you thought was your friend; someone who has been appearing to you to be a Sheep but is actually a wolf. If someone that you thought wanting well with you but has been working against you. If that fellow should die suddenly; then you should rejoice.

I’m not going to ask you to ask for anything this morning – I just want you to spend two (2) minutes Thanking God because your case is already settled – “THE SERPENT IS DEAD AND ELECTROCUTED”

So, go ahead, Praise the Almighty God – Give Him Glory, give Him Honour, give Him Adoration.

He has done more than we can ever asked Him for – He gave us a Sign!

Oh, Thank You Father, Thank You Lord, Thank You Ancient of Days so much. Blessed be Your Holy Name.

Now I just want you to lift your hands now for the Final Blessings:

Now, in Your Name, I Pronounce these Your Blessings on these Your children: Like never before even before I finished Praying, established it.

It will be well with you. Your Greatest enemies – The Serpent, is already dead and it will never come back to Life. Darkness will not come near you again.

Any Agent of the devil left in your home will not see the New Year. Any Agent of the devil left in your Churches will not see the New Year. Every enemies of your Destinies will not see the New Year. Your Turnaround will be Permanent.

Everywhere you go now, your own will be Joy. The Almighty God will give you Preference: He will take you to the very Top, you will be among the Greatest, you will be among the Best, you will be among the Most Successful, you will be among the Most Anointed and you will serve God.

It shall be well with you and you will Finish well.

When you leave here now; Miracles will begin to happen through you.
