Let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

OPENING PRAYER

Ancient of Days we Glorify Your Holy Name.

Thank You for waking us up this Morning.

Thank You because it’s of Your Mercy we are not consumed; Thank You for that Mercy You have renewed today.

Please, accept our Worship in Jesus’ Name.

Thank You for what You did on Thursday (Day 1); Thank You for what You did yesterday (Day 2); Thank You for what You are already doing today (Day 3); Thank You in Advance for what You will do tomorrow (Day 4) and Thank You for what You will do during Your Convention.

Please, accept our Worship in Jesus’ Name.

Thank You Lord fo Health, Thank You for Strength, Thank You for Ability to go for a walk.

Father, accept our worship in Jesus’ Name.

Father Please, continue with us; and be Merciful to us.

Please Lord, continue to be Merciful to Nigeria and continue to be Merciful to Your Church.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Well, let Someone who enjoyed the Walk shout hallelujah – Hallelujah.

Glory be to God – Hallelujah!

The Bible says in Matthew 11:12, And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth Violence, and the Violent take it by force.

Some People are not going to Heaven. But should they take me along? No! Anything that will not allow me to go I must detach myself from it.

The Kingdom of God is so important, that if it requires you to cut off your hand, do so Please.

Let Somebody shout hallelujah – Hallelujah.

As my children, I will do whatever I can to see that you make it to Heaven. You may not like me now; but you will thank me later.

The Word of God makes it clear: “Only bastards don’t take Corrections? Are you a bastard? No!

How many of you will like me to keep correcting you? The DMC Family Members.

Matthew 6:1-13; we will read Verses 9-10:

9 After this manner therefore Pray ye: Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in Earth, as it is in Heaven.

What we want to discuss this morning is: “THY KINGDOM COME”.

One of the Most Powerful Prayers in the Bible is written in three (3) words – “Thy Kingdom Come.”

And do you know that a lot of very Powerful Prayers can be said in only three (3) words?

“Jesus Save Me” – How many words? Three (3) words.

“Jesus Heal Me” – How many words? Three (3) words.

“Jesus Prosper Me” – How many words? Three (3) words.

“Jesus Preserve Me” – How many words? Three (3) words.

“Jesus Protect Me” – How many words? Three (3) words.

“Jesus Help Me” – How many words? Three (3) words.

When Peter was walking on water to meet Jesus Christ, and suddenly he began to sink; he didn’t finish the Lord’s Prayer. He didn’t say, “Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.” He just said, Lord Help me.

And then of course; there is a Prayer that is only One (1) Word:

When you don’t even have time to ask for anything, you just say one word – JESUS.

There is a time in every man’s Life when you don’t know what to say anymore – You can at least say JESUS.

I went for a Prayer Walk early this Year (2024) – As I was going I saw a woman with a child beside her; the child was laid on a piece of cloth on the floor. The woman must have found my normal route. As I walked towards them I saw the child and I stopped briefly and I said, God Bless You. And she said Amen!

And I continued on my Journey. About a kilometer away from them, a Young Man ran towards me. I tried to stop him by raising my hand, but he continued running towards me and so I waited.

He gave me an envelope and said, my First fruit Sir. And I said, God Bless You! It was a big envelope with more than Three Hundred Thousand Naira (#300,000) inside. I continued Walking.

When I was returning, Jesus said to me, “give that envelope to that woman.” She was still where I left her. So I moved to her and gave the envelope to her.

She took the envelope, opened it and she started to shout. She took the child and started going. She was weeping for Joy and saying Jesus!

And for the rest of my Walk that day, I too was saying Jesus because I know what God has done for me – I know where I came from; I know where He has brought me now.

… And the only reason I am where I am today is because of a Name – Jesus!

Powerful three (3) words!

But then there is One Word that is more Powerful – Jesus!

THY KINGDOM COME

Kingdom, as I must have told you, is a combination of two (2) words: King and Domain.

Kingdom means the Domain or the Area where a King has Dominion.

King’s Domain means where a King has Dominion.

Kingdom is that area where the Word of a King has Power.

Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, Where the word of a king is, there is Power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

That area where the King has Dominion; where he can say, “this is what I want” and it will be established.

As Powerful as the President of America is, he has no Dominion over Nigeria – He cannot order an All-Night curfew in Nigeria.

If he sits in Washington DC and say, I hereby decree, Nobody comes in or goes out between 8.00pm to 5:00am in Nigeria; it will not be effective.

Can I hear you shout Jesus again? Jesus!

The King has a domain; but there is a limited area where he can speak, Command People to obey and they will not disobey.

The Kingdom on Earth was originally given to Man.

Genesis 1:26-28 says, And God said, Let us make Man in our Image, after our Likeness: and let them have Dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the Earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the Earth. So God created Man in His Own Image, in the Image of God created he him; Male and Female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be Fruitful, and Multiply, and Replenish the Earth, and Subdue it: and have Dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every Living Thing that moveth upon the Earth.

That is why up till today, Man can tame any animal – Lion, Elephant, etc.

You will be amazed how a tamed cobra can be in the hand of some Specialist Indians.

But then, we lost it to Satan when we sinned – We were driven out and Satan took over.

In Matthew 4:1-11, when Satan was tempting Jesus Christ, he said, Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high Mountain, and sheweth him all the Kingdoms of the world, and the Glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and Worship me.

Jesus did not Challenge him about the Ownership of the Earth. And Satan was aware that Jesus came to restore that Kingdom back to Man.

He was saying to Jesus, don’t go to the Cross, bow and I will give it to you.

When Jesus Christ came He said, your Number 1 Prayer should be: Thy Kingdom Come.

Meaning what?

You are saying, God Restore everything to how it was supposed to be at the very beginning.

So when you cry, my Father who art in Heaven, I worship Your Name – One of your Worshipers is crying to You. He says okay, you have my attention; what do you want?

You will say, Let Your Kingdom Come – By that, you are actually speaking for yourself: Restore to me everything Satan has stolen from me.

Restore my Health, Restore my Anointing, Restore my Strength; Restore the Gifts of the Holy Spirit I have lost, Restore my Destiny.

Do I hear Somebody shout: Let Thy Kingdom Come!

A very Good example is in Mark 5:2-20 – The Madman of Gadara, when he saw Jesus coming; because the Demons were so many, he couldn’t say a word of Prayer.

He believed, here comes a King who can deliver me from the Kingdom of Darkness; A King who can restore my Sanctity – Restore my Health, my Freedom and my Destiny. I was Destined to be an Evangelist.

What did he do? He fell down on his face and Worshipped the King of Glory.

The Demons within him knew that his Kingdom has come back.

The next thing they said – Our time is over. Permission to go into the pigs. And He said: Permission granted!

In the Name that’s above every other name, every Kingdom that has taken any part of your Destiny; any Plant the Father did not Plant will be Uprooted right now – Amen.

… You know the rest of the Story.

I want to advice you to be careful what you Pray for after Intensed Worship of God.

When you have Worshipped God and His Presence comes down, be careful what you ask for, because you are likely to get it.

ONLY SONGS THAT GLORIFY GOD ARE PERMITTED FROM NOW.

As Ministers of God, be careful – Your Choir must not be making Joyful Noises alone.

Pay attention to the kind of Music they Minister.

If they sing Songs not bringing down the Holy Spirit, say No!

Even Choruses must be meaningful – The Choruses that are not God-Centered must not be allowed in your Churches anymore.

We are not of the world, we are different – We are a City that is set on a Hill, so we will make a difference.

He (God) needs True Worshippers.

John 4:24 says that, God is a Spirit: and they that Worship Him must Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

I’ve just returned from Liberia; the Choir there, they are very Great.

I was so moved, that I said I know God will help me; one of these days I will charter a Plane to bring them down here.

That’s the Choir we want; and not the ones you would ask what they are Singing.

Do something about your Choir – If their Songs will not draw People to the Ancient of Days, Change them.

It’s better you don’t have a Choir at all, than allow them sing Songs that bring Demons, instead of the Presence of God.

When the atmosphere is right; when Worship is Intensed, you feel God – It does not have to be New Songs.

If it’s not bringing God close, Please don’t sing it.

After you have Hallowed His Name, be careful what you asked for, because you will surely receive them.

For Example, be careful before you ask God to bring about the Rapture; because it could mean, “let Rapture take Place now.”

When you say, let the Rapture take Place now: Are you ready?

If the Lord returns today, are you ready?

In the Past, we lived our lives as Christians, expecting Jesus any moment. And He can even come before I finish Preaching.

I remember very well, one of my friends who has gone to be with the Lord – He was old before departing.

When we just got Born Again, we were living our lives as if the Lord is coming soon. We put it in the Greetings in Yoruba – “Eku ifoju s’ona Jesus” (DMC NOTES: Greeting ourselves for being in Expectation of Jesus’ Second Coming).

That my friend was a Young Christian and he still loved going to Parties.

So there was a Party at the beginning of the Year for Elites – Popular Musicians were invited to Perform.

Since the wife was Born Again, she won’t go. He used the opportunity to go with his girlfriend.

While they were dancing and Partying, suddenly it occurred to him, “what if the Lord comes now, will I hear the Trumpet sound?”

He said to the girl, excuse me! She thought he was excusing himself to go the the convenience. But he went straight home.

When the wife saw him, she said, how was the Party. You are home early today.

He said, the Lord will come before tomorrow Morning.

The wife burst in tears: Now I know my husband is Born Again.

If Christ comes today, are you ready?

Because the Bible says the Lord shall come like a thief in the Night.

Matthew 24:38 says, For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in Marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the Ark.

Do you know that the Lord may come during a Wedding Service?

Just as the Priest is asking, “Will you take this Man/Woman as your Lawful wedded….”

All of a sudden the Trumpet will sound and the answer will be given in Heaven.

Luke 17:34 says, tell you, in that Night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

Be careful what you ask for because you are likely to get it.

SOME PRAYER OF APOSTLE PAUL

Let’s take a look at some Prayera of my friend -:Apostle Paul.

I Studied him for years – I was wondering what’s wrong.

In Philippians 3:7-11 He prayed some Prayers: That I may know him, and the Power of his Resurrection, and the Fellowship of his Sufferings, being made Conformable unto his Death.

1. He said, that I might Know Him:

I want to know Him too.

But when you read 2 Corinthians 12:1-9, God answered the Prayer. He got Revelations upon Revelations – So many to make him Proud; and God gave him a thorn in the flesh.

2. The Power of His Resurrection:

… I want to experience the Power of His Resurrection too.

See what happened in Acts 19:11-12; his Handkerchief was healing the sick.

3. The Fellowship of His Sufferings:

I want to know the Fellowship of His Sufferings too.

Why do you have to ask for that?

In 2 Corinthians 11:23-28, God answered. They beat him with rods, he suffered. He asked for it.

4. Made Conformable unto His Death.

When you read Acts 14:19, And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who Persuaded the People, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the City, supposing he had been dead.

Why am I saying all these? It’s because the Disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to Pray.

Christians talk about Prayers, but we don’t Pray.

I just want to suggest that we Pray jointly today.

SPECIAL ADVICE ON MODE OF DRESSING FOR WORKERS AND MINISTERS IN RCCG

It’s difficult to believe that in some of our Churches, Men are braiding their hair – Even as Workers.

In Yorubaland, the only Men who braid hair are the Priests of Sango – The idol of Thunder.

They say, “this is a New Age – We must be Adaptable to what is going on.” To continue as Sango Priests? Not in this Mission.

Even after I’m gone, it will still not happen.

Take this word for me: When we find anybody among Pastors; Particularly Female Pastors, Made-Up to look like a representative of Nollywood; we will walk her off the Altar.

I’ve said it again and again; now hear me loud and clear – When your makeup is such a way that we don’t know what is underneath (maybe the devil);

Forgive me, I am your father. You may not like it. If you are my children, you can’t kill me.

Do you know why Men don’t make up? I mean, Real Men. It’s because we have what is called, Superiority Complex.

We stand before the Lord and say God, You did a good job creating us. You made no mistake.

… I know my daughters don’t like it.

Even the ones with bardhead still look very handsome.

When you begin to fix “False Nails” – If God wanted to make you a bird He would have. “False Eyelashes”.

You can quote me: Tell anybody who Question why you are doing this drastic Change, tell him or her, “Daddy GO said so.

Why will a woman expose her breasts? She wants to divert attention from her face – She believes she is ugly; so the Man will be lured.

All my daughters listen to me: You are Fearfully and Wonderfully made. If anybody does not like you the way you are, it’s his lose.

Stop messing up what God has done – He did a good job.

When He created you, you were Original; because He broke the mould He used for you – You remain an Original.

All those who still love me, shout hallelujah – Hallelujah.

I’m sure some of you will be wondering – What’s wrong with Daddy?

It is “what is Good with Daddy?”

PRAYER POINTS FROM ACTS 4:23-31

1. Lord, Though art God:

The first thing they said is, Lord You are our God.

PRAYER POINT 1: You will Eulogise Him again.

2. Lord You made all things:

PRAYER POINT 2: Remind Him, that He made the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG): it is not a one man Ministry.

It’s not Joseph Akindayomi Evangelist Ministry; it is not Adeboye World Outreach – It is named by God Himself.

3. Lord You Promised:

PRAYER POINT 3: Remind Him of His Promises. He told my father-in-the-Lord that this Church will go round the world.

One of His Promises to the Church is that there will be no Young People dying.

When we were Young, during Watch Night Service, report would say: This year we had (for example): three (3) Marriages, thirteen (13) Births, No Death!

For many years there was no Death report.

Do you know that I have been in a Church for a couple of years no Death Report.

And then one Elderly Man died – When he was to be buried we were putting our head together on how to conduct his Funeral Service.

Because, when was the last time somebody died? We managed to put up a Burial Program.

How I wish that time would return – Amen.

4. Lord, Your Counsel must Stand:

PRAYER POINT 4: If there be anything we have introduced in Your Church that You don’t want, uproot. Only what You want must Stand.

5. Lord, take note of our Adversary:

PRAYER POINT 5: Father, all those who say RCCG must go down, deal with them.

6. Stretch forth Thy Hand:

PRAYER POINT 6: Let Good things begin to happen like never before.

… When you get to this Part of the Prayer, Pray with all your heart.

7. Lord, Silenced our Mockers.

Particularly this year, I have been Silently rejoicing, because Miracles keep going on.

We are getting our Campground in UK dedicated.

We have a New Campground in Canada.

A New Campground in Liberia.

Let them keep mocking; we’ll keep Soaring Higher.

PRAYER POINT 7: Father, Perform More Miracles. Let our Enemies know You are our God.

8. The Place Shook:

When they Prayed, the Place Shook.

PRAYER POINT 8: I want you to include in your Prayer today, that God will shake the Heavens, shake the Earth, because of us.

Include in your Prayer that we want that kind of Prayer that will shake the Earth.

We were six (6) People Praying in our Hotel Room in Tulsa Oklahoma and the Hotel shook to its foundation.

The Engineers came to the Room where we were Praying, when I opened the door he asked: what Instruments are you using here? I said, we are Praying. He searched the room and was confused.

He turned to me and said, what did you say you were doing? I said, we were Praying.

Why Sir? He said the Hotel is shaking down to the Foundation, and it was traced to our room. They closed the Hotel down for many years.

Years later when I visited Tulsa Oklahoma, I took my children to the Hotel where my father-in-the-Lord, myself and four (4) others Prayed.

I laid my hands and Prayed: Lord Please let this Hotel be reopened, the owner has suffered loses.

Six (6) Months later the Hotel was reopened.

One of these days I will take you on a Walk on the Camp to show you the Place I Prayed years ago and he Campground shook.

Ask the Lord to shake this Place, shake Nigeria, shake the world.

Give us Testimonies that would make those who hear them say, these People must be Special to God.

So I am going to call the Man in Charge of Prayer to lead us.

Go on Break, be back by 3.00pm. The Reports will continue. Go on break again and come back by 7.00am.

Go ahead and Pray: Even God would have to shake open Prison doors.

Just by shouting Jesus, you will have your Testimonies – Jesus!

OPENING PRAYER

King of kings and Lord of lords; the I AM THAT I AM, the Unchangeable Changer.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the God of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Father, Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Almighty God, Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Please, accept our Worship in Jesus’ Name.

Let’s open our Bible to Matthew 6:9-13.

We will continue with Verse 9 – After this manner therefore Pray ye: Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.

You are calling on Someone who is in Heaven – You want to attract His attention.

• How are you sure He is hearing you?
• How are you sure He is looking at your direction?

Considering the number of People on the Earth – We are more than Seven Billion People.

• How are you sure the One who is far away in Heaven will pay attention to you?

My Father who art in Heaven – I know something about You:

I know that You are seeking for Worshippers – According to John 4:23-24:

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the True Worshippers shall Worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth: for the Father seeketh such to Worship Him.

… God is a Spirit: and they that Worship Him must Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

I know You are seeking for someone to Worship You in Spirit and in truth; I am here.

HALLOWED BE THY NAME

You don’t start by saying, my Father in Heaven I need Healing, Deliverance, Breakthrough – No!

First of all, be sure He is focusing on you – Hallowed be Thy Name.

The Priority of the Wise is Praising God.

In Psalm 34:1; David said, I will bless the LORD at all times: His Praise shall continually be in my mouth. Wise Boy!

In Psalm 18:1-2 he said, I will love thee, O LORD, my Strength. The LORD is my Rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my Strength, in whom I will trust; my Buckler, and the Horn of my Salvation, and my High Tower.

How can you approach God like that and He will not look in your direction?

I’ve told you before, my dad was poor, but he had two (2) wives and a handful of children.

Money was not always available when it was time for School to reopen. But one way or the other my mother never failed to get my School fees.

When School is about to reopen, early in the morning – Because I was the one sleeping with my dad on the mat; my mother will come inside the room and begin to eulogise my dad.

“My owner, the owner of my head, the owner of my chest. Your father had a farmland, no bird could be able to go round it. Your father was a great Man, he fed the Army and the Civilian…”

… And I used to wonder, where is this farm?

She will just keep on eulogising him. And my dad would say, “it’s a man you are calling.”

Very soon you will hear him say, “it will be well with you in this house.”

And I will say, he has fallen into her trap again (laughter).

He will say to my mother, what do you want?

My mother will eulogise him more, and finally she would say; we all know things are hard; but your son is doing back to School – It is a question of School Fees.

My dad would say, no Problem. He will find a way to sell something or borrow to pay my School Fees.

My Father who art in Heaven – What is the next thing? Hallowed be Thy Name!

In Psalm 108:1-3, David said, God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give Praise, even with my Glory. Awake, Psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will Praise thee, O LORD, among the People: and I will sing Praises unto thee among the Nations.

Your tongue can be your Life; it can be your Death; it can also be your Glory.

The Priority of the Wise is Singing Praises of God; showing Gratitude for what He has done – Not just Privately, but Openly.

Have you ever noticed that when you are young in the Lord and it’s time to Praise God, you find it easy to dance to Him, and you enjoy it? Nobody notices you!

But as you begin to grow Spiritually, as you become a Pastor – from Area Level to Province Level, you are now a ‘Big Man’.

You now begin to speak in Proverbs – “The Masquerade of the Elders must dance gently.”

May the Masquerade be cursed – Amen!

That Masquerade in you, that will not let you dance to the Lord, I curse it in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Praise Him, dance to Him. And learn to do so Privately and Publicly.

In the Book of 2 Samuel 6; the Bible says, when David was bringing the Ark of the Covenant of God to his town he was dancing so Mightily. He danced in such a manner his wife mocked him – She never had a child! (DMC NOTES: 2 Samuel 6:23)

Whenever David committed any sin against God, he fell down in reference and said, God I have blown it this time. God would say, I will Punish you, but you won’t die; I need Worshippers.

Learn to Worship Him and learn to Praise Him – Privately and Publicly. You just keep on dancing, let them mock you.

We went to hold a Holy Ghost Service in one of the Campuses, and the Vice Chancellor was dancing like a child among all the Students. He couldn’t care less.

Months later, some forces wanted to bring him down, but they were all disappointed – Because if you dance to God, He will turn in your direction.

Do I hear Somebody shout hallelujah – Hallelujah.

Learn to Praise Him Privately and Publicly.

Let your Light Shine

Matthew 5:14-16 says, Ye are the Light of the world. A City that is set on an Hill cannot be hid. Neither do Men Light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a Candlestick; and it giveth Light unto all that are in the house. Let your Light so Shine before Men, that they may see your Good works, and Glorify your Father which is in Heaven.

Because God has made you a Light, you can’t be hid anymore.

Anywhere you go, when they hear the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); they pay attention – It’s too late to hide.

So when you see the Mockers ask, “are you the only Church?” You are a City set on a Hill, you can’t be hid.

Let your Light Shine – Behave in a manner, you can’t be ignored.

Let your Light Shine – Let your shout be louder and let the devil be angry.

There is issue of name – Hallowed be Thy Name.

The name of a Person has tremendous influence on the future of the Person; and it has tremendous influence on the Destiny of the Person.

I have done a thorough Teaching on Names in the Past; maybe some of you here, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC have not seen that Message.

The name they gave you might be responsible for all your Struggles.

For example, names like: Esugbayi (DMC NOTES: Satan take this); Ifamodimu (DMC NOTES: I am holding into Ifa Priest); Sangolode (DMC NOTES: The god of thunder has arrived).

Take the Example of “MOSES” – Meaning: Drawn out of water:

Look at Moses, everything about his Life had to do with water – Parting of the Red Sea, turning bitter water to sweet, water from the rock, etc.

But take the name of “ELIJAH” – Meaning: Jehovah is God:

In 1 Kings 18, when he was confronted by the Prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, he Prayed and God answered by Fire. The People cried, Jehovah is God – They were saying Elijah!

That’s why God Himself on several occasions had to Change the names of some People in other to Change their Destiny.

• He said to Abram, you shall now be called Abraham if you are to fulfill Destiny (DMC NOTES: Genesis 17:5).
• To Sarai He said, your name is now Sarah if you are to become the mother of Nations (Genesis 17:15)
• He changed Jacob (a cheat) to Israel (DMC NOTES: Genesis 32:28).

You may have to Change your name after now.

When you hear names like, “Babawande” – find out which Baba.

If it happens to be a Chief Priest of an idol, God have Mercy on you – It’s not a joke.

I mean, the Lord Himself had to Change Peter’s name from Simon (little weeds); which can be blown here and there to Peter; meaning “The Rock” (DMC NOTES: Matthew 16:18).

Look at his Life, “Lord if You are the One, bid me come.” He took a few steps, doubted and began to sink.

Jesus asked Peter, who do Men say I am?

He said, You are Christ, the Son of the Living God. Jesus said, Congratulations!

But few days later, when Jesus said He would be killed, the same Peter said, Lord be it far from you?

Thank God Jesus rebuked him – Get thee behind me Satan.

But finally he became the Rock, and was bold.

Acts 4:13 says, Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and Perceived that they were Unlearned and Ignorant Men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

I Pray for you, anything evil in your name, the Almighty God will Change that today – Amen.

A Hindu, not a Christian met me in Dubai. He said Sir, they say your name is Enoch; is that not the name of the Man who walked with God? I said, yes Sir.

He said, no wonder! Me too I said, no wonder! He said, there are no too many People bearing that name (Enoch).

Why am I saying it? It is because there is something about a name.

NAME OF OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.

What are the Names of our Father which art in Heaven?

1. In Genesis 17:1, He is the Almighty God: the God who is more than enough.
2. In Exodus 3:13-15, He is THE I AM THAT I AM.

Bible Scholars say it means, whatever you call me, that’s what I am to you.

I. So when you need a Financial Breakthrough, what should you call Him?

Jehovah El-shaddai – The God who is more than enough.

II. If you find yourself in a Furnace; if Enemies are chasing you like they did to Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego in Daniel 3:23-27, who is the one you will call upon? The Fourth (4th) Man in the Fire.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the King was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his Counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four Men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God – Daniel 3:24-25

The Fourth (4th) Man is the One who said, I will be with you always; I will never leave you.

III. I am sure you know the Name to call when in need of Victory? The LORD of Host.

In 1 Samuel 17:45-57, Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the Name of the LORD of Hosts, the God of the Armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

There is a God who has never lost a battle. And it might interest you to know that He is the One I have been calling on recently.

There is Someone you can go to; that when you call on Him He will answer.

If right now you are facing Goliath of any form; shout, LORD of Host!

My heart is full of Joy tonight – Hallelujah.

3. He is the King of Glory:

What happens if you are knocking at the Gate of Heaven and the door is shut? Who should you call?

According to Psalm 24:7-1, there is someone to call for all Gates to open. Every Angel must obey Him.

… He is called the King of Glory.

When the ‘Angel’ on the other side says, “I want to be sure who the King of Glory is”; He will answer, I am The LORD Strong and Mighty, the LORD Mighty in battle.

You may not believe some of these things; that one could get to the Gate and the Door is shut – I can give you examples.

Let’s take one great Example;

A woman who is related to one Great Nigerian, and was Preached to by the house help and she surrendered her Life to Jesus Christ Genuinely.

Mama was Ninety (90) years old and was dying. She said, tell Daddy GO that they are not opening the door.

I was Abroad, so I Phoned back, that I would be around to tell her what to do so that the door can be opened.

I visited her when I arrived, we had a little chat, and I told her one or two things she must be doing before the door can be opened.

She did them, and the Door was opened.

May I Pray for you: Anything that will shut the door of Heaven against you, may the Almighty God remove it – Amen.

Many of you know the Story of my father-in-the-Lord – There are Witnesses who are still alive.

He was sick and about to die like Elisha. We were in the Living Room, Papa was gone!

He got to the Gate, they said come in – This is your room, this is your Crown. The wall was Pure Gold.

But they said to him, you can’t stay yet because there is something you have to settle.

God said yes, you have not settled between so and so. Go back and settle with them.

Suddenly, he came back: found a way to settle as he was instructed, before the Gate opened.

We are taking about Heaven – It’s not a joking matter.

Someone could get to the Gate and the door is shut.

But there is Someone called the King of Glory.

Do I hear Somebody shut King of Glory! Call on Him, the door will open – Amen.

SPECIAL ADVICE TO MINISTERS: DO NOT DISHONOUR HIS NAME

That is why I want to beg you (Ministers of God) – Be careful so you don’t dishonour His Name.

“Hallowed be Thy Name” means, I honour Your Name.

But some People dishonour His Name. And He can be angry when you dishonour His Name.

When you read the Story of Gehazi in 2 Kings 5:1 to the end; Naaman was healed, he brought Presents to the Man of God. That one said No, I don’t want your Gifts. Gehazi said, if my Oga refused to collect the Gifts, I will go and get them.

He met Naaman and told a lie.

Why was God angry?

This man (Naaman) was going home, saying the God of these People must be Merciful and Mighty to have healed me Free of Charge.

When Gehazi met him on the way, he lied. And the Man said, maybe their God is not as Mighty as I thought.

Gehazi dishonoured God, that is why he didn’t spend the Money.

There is something People Practice these days; and I hope you are not one of them – They tell Sick People to sow Seed for their Healing.

You can’t find that in me – If you can find any Tape of my Messages where I said that; I will give you Ten Million Naira (#10,000,000).

Healing is Free – Freely you received, freely give.

If there is a need, I will say: Brethren, we need Money for Dormitories for Example; if any of you can Support, I will be Grateful.

And I will Pray for you.

I’ve never asked you to sow Seed for Healing, Fruit of the Womb, Promotion, etc.

That is why I keep saying: I am not a “Prosperity Preacher” – I Preach Holiness.

If you live Holy, my God will bless you.

Seed Sowing in not bad – If you sow a Seed it’s because you want to reap.

If you sow a Seed of Money, you will reap Money; you sow a Seed of tie, you will reap tie.

But to ask you to sow a Seed of Fruitfulness? No way!

I feel some People may have some Restitution to make.

Don’t dishonour His Name, because if you do, it may Permanently block your way to Heaven.

Watch that weak Point of yours today!

In Numbers 20:1-7; Moses had one (1) weak point – He can get angry once in a while, not everytime.

He was at the threshold of the Promise Land but never got in.

Why? Because God said, you did not honour my Name before these People. I told you to speak to the Rock, but you struck the Rock.

SPECIAL ADVICE TO ELDERS AND MINISTERS: BE CAREFUL OF MOSES’ MISTAKE.

It brings me to one Crucial Point – Particularly to the Elders amongst us, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC:

As we get closer to the end of our race, be careful of what is known as “Moses’ Mistake.”

There will be more People Provoking you – Don’t yield to the Temptation of making Moses’ Mistake.

You will finish well, in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

Be careful as Ministers of God and Elders how you handle your children – Don’t let them become idols.

No matter how big or how successful they are. The Elders have a saying, “The okra tree cannot be taller than its owner.”

In 1 Samuel 2:30; God said to Eli, Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

Why? Because those who honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be Lightly esteemed.

Don’t honour your children more than God – If they err, cry out to the Lord on their behalf.

THE NAME JESUS

As I close tonight; God has given us a Name that is higher than every other name, according to Philippians 2:9-11 – The Name of JESUS.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a Name which is above every name: That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in Earth, and things under the Earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.

Please, honour that Name because you will need that Name to make it to Heaven.

In John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Even if you don’t remember all the other Names of God like El-shaddai; at least remember JESUS.

Have at least the Wisdom of Elisha – When he wasn’t sure that his Faith can carry him across Jordan – The other side of the river. He said, where is a God of my father?

He said, where is the Lord God of Elijah?

Maybe I can anchor my Faith with that of my father (Elijah).

Many times when People come for Testimony and say they cried to the God of Adeboye and He answered them. People say to me, “why didn’t you stop them?”

They didn’t cry to Adeboye; they cried to Who? The GOD of Adeboye.

I hope that one Great Traditional Ruler will Testify on this Camp – He was at the Point of Death.

We have a Hospital around him, he said that they should take him there, and that the God of Adeboye will heal him.

And God Healed him – Hallelujah!

The God I serve is the Holy One. He is not a father Christmas.

He is not the one that would say once you are Born Again you can continue in sin.

He is the One who is sitteth in Heaven. He lives in the Place where nothing unclean is allowed.

If you honour Him, when you call on Him, He will answer.

Tomorrow morning, come again by 7.00am; Sing and Pray to God.

Hopefully, by 8.00am I will join you.

Come with your Walking shoes, because we will be going for a Walk.

I want you to follow the Example of my mother tonight; I want you to Eulogise God. Honour His Name.

Call as many of His Names that you can remember – Jehovah Jireh, Alpha, Omega, the Almighty God, the LORD of Host, the King of Glory. The GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The God of Elijah, the God of Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego. The God of Daniel. The God of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Eulogise Him!

That’s all I want you to do tonight – Just go ahead.

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING

Father, all we want to say this Morning is Thank You.

For the Salvation of our Souls, Thank You

For keeping us in Your Will, Thank You.

That we are on our way to Heaven, Thank You.

That we are in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Thank You.

That our tomorrow will be alright, Thank You.

For Your Wall of Fire round about us, so that the enemy has not been able to harm us, Thank You.

All of us as one, we are saying Thank You.

Thank You for yesterday (Day 1), Thank You for today (Day 2), Thank You for tomorrow (Day 3), and Thank You for Eternity.

Father, Thank You!

After this Morning Session, by the Grace of God, there will be a Break that will allow you spend more time on your own in Prayer. And then we will resume by 2:30pm.

When we resume, we will do what we normally do – We will load our tanks with Sermons from other Ministers. We just pick some People to teach for fifteen (15) Minutes each.

This Year; we will be listening to our Continental Overseers – They will be talking to us about Heaven.

They would say, Daddy you didn’t tell us in advance. I know!

We want to go back to the beginning, in the days of my father-in-the-Lord – After Workers Meeting in those days, he would say, Bro, you are the one Preaching today. God help you if you were not Prepared!

The Continental Overseers would come one by one, talk to us about Heaven.

You say, after one fellow what are the others going to talk about Heaven?

One fellow can talk about Rapture, another Antichrist, another Tribulation, another Overcomers, etc. And we are going to do it in Alphabetical order. Africa 1 will start. After Africa we move to America 1. From there we move to Asia, and so on.

The National Overseer will be in Charge – Fifteen (15) Minutes each. Don’t take more than fifteen (15) Minutes. When they finish we will go on Break and come back by 7.00pm to take Reports from the Various Continents.

So you’ll gather by 7.00pm and I will join you from 8:30pm, depending on how soon He will release me. Tomorrow (Day 3), if He has not returned, one thing is sure, come with your Walking Shoes; we will be going for Prayer Walk.

We’ll continue with Part 2 of our Talk – Today we’ll be looking at “Which Art in Heaven.”

The Bible Text of course is Matthew 6:9-13.

Today we will only look at Verse 9 – “After this manner therefore Pray ye: Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.”

Yesterday (Day 1, Evening Session); we looked at “Jesus as Father”.

Today (Day 2, Morning Session); let’s look at “Which art in Heaven”.

So we know which Father we are talking about – Not the father in Ifewara: the Father in Heaven.

In the beginning, the Bible says in Genesis 1:1-3 – In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. And the Earth was without form, and void; and Darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be Light: and there was Light.

From the little we have read, Heaven had no Problem from the beginning – The Earth had Problems from the beginning; the Earth was without form and void; it was disorderly and chaotic from the beginning. It was void (empty) and the Earth is still empty.

“Oh! But there are animals, trees, human beings?”

Listen to what Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 1:1-2, Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

What did he say? “Vanity of vanities; all is vanity.”

You know the meaning of that? “Emptiness of emptiness: all is emptiness.”

That came from a Man who made sure that everything in his Palace was made of Gold – He had it all; anything that his eyes desired, he took it.

A Man who had only seven hundred (700) wives: every beautiful girl he saw, he had.

When he wasn’t satisfied, he added three hundred (300) Concubines.

Yet at the end he said, “vanity of vanities; all is vanity.”

The Earth is still empty, and there is Darkness all over the Earth.

Ephesians 6:12 says, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against Principalities, against Powers, against the Rulers of the Darkness of this world, against Spiritual Wickedness in High Places.

So the Earth was in trouble from Day Number 1; but Heaven had no Problem at all – Amazing!

It was so good that the Almighty God said “I will sit down here.”

When you consider the fact that the God who is rich beyond measure made something so beautiful that He said, I will sit here; it must be really beautiful.

He sits in Heaven there, and He controls the Earth.

Isaiah 66:1 says, Thus saith the LORD, The Heaven is my Throne, and the Earth is my Footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the Place of my rest?

When I try to imagine how beautiful Heaven must be, I think of the Palaces of kings, not small kings.

There is a Hotel in Dubai they call it 7-Star – Hotels are graded 1-star, 2-star, etc. You will get 1-Star Hotel in Mushin, 2-Star Hotel in Ibadan and so on.

By the time you get to 5-star, you will know that is a Good Hotel.

The one I’m talking about is a 7-Star Hotel. I’ve had the opportunity to be there as somebody paid for it. What they pay for one (1) room there will buy a Hotel in Ibadan.

They asked if I wanted a Tour of the Hotel and I said yes – There is one floor reserved for the Owner of the Hotel. When I saw the bedroom of the Owner of the Hotel I said, God is Great.

When you get to the stage when money doesn’t mean anything to you, when you build a house and reserve a Special room for yourself, you will have a rough idea of how Heaven looks.

I just Pray that God opens our eyes to see just a Glimpse of Heaven; because many of us have lost sight – Amen.

I was in one Nation recently – There was opportunity for the Youth to ask me Questions. “Why is it that our Senior Pastors are always Playing Politics, and seeking Position.”

The answer I gave them is that they’ve lost sight of Heaven. Because if you have a rough idea of Heaven, and you know that’s where you are going you won’t be distracted.

EXTRACTS FROM THE DAY 1 SESSION OF THE RCCG THE AMERICAS CONTINENT 1 MINISTERS’ AND WORKERS’ CONFERENCE 2024

I can’t tell how many times I was approached when I was Younger to become the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) President.

I said, me? That is for big People, not small boys like myself.

Former President Obasanjo called a Meeting of the Great General Overseers and said they should make me the CAN President. One of the great General Overseers said, only God can tell him that for him to agree.

Who wants Title? All I want is to make Heaven.

How many of you want to make Heaven? The DMC Family Members!

One great Man of God came to Nigeria to meet with Men of God – When he came here, he said, some of your People have forgotten that Jesus is coming back.

Whether you like it or not, Baba (DMC NOTES: Meaning God) is coming back ooo.

This is Personal; take it serious. You are on a journey, and you can turn back. Everyday you get older – Our days are numbered, we can’t get Younger; we get older, so step forward.

Heaven or Hell, you can’t tell God “leave me alone, you hurrying me.”

When you know you are on a Journey of no return, you’ll be serious about where you will end up and how you will get there.

God says, I will sit here in Heaven; it is Beautiful enough for me with all my Power. And from here I will control you on Earth, as troublesome as you appear to be.

Psalm 115:3 says, But our God is in the Heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath Pleased.

All He has to do from where He is seated is just speak and everything must obey Him Because He is the King of kings.

I was invited last year to speak on “The King of the Whole Earth” – I said, that’s my Dad.

Even in the Kingdom of animals, He is King.

When you read Daniel Chapter 6; He said to the Lions, I don’t want you to touch this fellow, he is a son of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. They said, yes Sir!

The following day, they pulled out His son; they brought fresh food. The Lions asked, “are these also sons of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah?” He said No, go ahead and enjoy!

In 1 Kings 13:1-25, He told the Lion, this Prophet is Incomplete in his Obedience. “kill, don’t eat him.”

Yes, those of you who obey God halfway and stop; remember there are Lions who will kill and not eat.

Also, He said in Psalm 33:8-11, Let all the Earth fear the LORD: let all the Inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

Whether you believe it or not, His counsel alone will stand – Plan your own, His counsel shall stand.

Nowadays, so many Ministers tell you, we have been here for so many years; now He is telling us go. Safe journey! The counsel of the Lord will stand. When He said, Let there be Light – there was Light.

I decree this Morning that in the Life of everyone of you here, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC, there will be Light – Amen.

Because when He says let there be Light, Forces of Darkness flee.

In Mark 5:2-20, He spoke one word, Go! All demons left the Mad of Gadara. One word, the Destiny of the Man was restored.

And if you are going in the wrong direction, I Pray for you; let there be Light – Amen.

WHERE WAS HE BEFORE HE CREATED THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH?

Because He is our Daddy, we should know a little bit about Him.

John 1:1 says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Where was He before He created the Heaven and the Earth?

It didn’t Please Him to tell us. There are certain things He tells us and those who think they know it all don’t know anything.

In 1 Corinthians 1:18-31; He made it clear, with all your so called Knowledge, you don’t know anything.

So many times I beg you, Please be humble – I know many of you know Greek, Hebrews which I never knew; that’s why I’m always ready to learn.

You don’t know anything, so keep your heart open to receive Knowledge, Revelation – With Humility, keep digging deep.

I told some of my children, my Daddy showed me something about Esau:

Esau got no Blessing as it were but at the end; he became so Mighty that when his brother (Jacob) was coming to meet him, he became terrified.

Daddy showed me a little bit about Esau:

If you look at what Esau said, what he did was wrong – The brother said, you want food? Give me your Birthright. Esau said, I am dying, you are talking about Birthright; of what use is Birthright to a dead Man? That was Logical. He wasn’t dying, he just loved food.

But look at the Statement; “a dead Man can’t be blessed.”

There is a lot to learn if you open your heart – Don’t shut your Mind, you don’t know it all. Only a fool thinks he knows it all.

Some of them talking are so correct that they are wrong – Stop looking at only one side of the coin, focus on both sides.

I’ve always Preached about two (2) sides of a coin; until one day my son Leke said, Daddy there are three (3) sides to a coin – What about the Circular Section? It rolls on the Circular Section.

God who is love, combines the two sides together with Grace.

Learn to listen to your children, you can learn from them. Your Knowledge is Limited; God’s Knowledge is Unlimited.

You cannot understand Him Completely – Never forget that.

A GLIMPSE OF HEAVEN

Let’s get a Glimpse of Heaven:

1. No Night there.

Revelation 21:25 says, And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no Night there.

It’s a Topic on its own in the Convention, we will discuss it in details then.

2. The Streets are Paved with Gold.

Revelation 21:21 says, And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the Street of the City was Pure Gold, as it were transparent glass.

I don’t know too much about Gold; I had opportunity of visiting Places where there is Gold. I know Gold is measured in carat – 14 carats, 18 carats, 21 carats, etc.

I still remember like yesterday; one of my sons who just got Born Again; he had a 23 carats Gold ring he was Parading then.

We travelled to Singapore and we visited where they deal with Gold.

This my son showed them his 23 carats Gold and said, can you clean it for me? They asked him, how many carats? He said, 23 carats. And they said, “we don’t touch that Gold.” They reduced him!

But there is Gold in Heaven: “and the Street of the City was Pure Gold, as it were transparent glass.”

Because the One who made it is the One who said, Gold is mine, Silver is mine (Haggai 2:8).

3. There is no way anything Unclean can be allowed in.

No way! Anything that can defile will not be allowed in. The Place is absolutely Pure.

Revelation 21:27 says, And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

There is this issue about Heaven – The Bible says “God sat down there.’

What does that mean? He said, this is my Place of Settlement. God is everywhere.

A friend of mine was boasting; when we visited the Bahamas; we saw that the Place is very beautiful.

He said, this is where God comes to spend His Holidays. I said I agree, “Do you want to know where His Headquarters is? It is in a Place called Redemption Camp.”

He said, Prove it. I told him one Story – The Story of a woman who went to look after her grandchildren in America and had stroke. She said, take me back home. The children said, if anybody has stroke they referred them from Nigeria to America for treatment.

She said, I want to go and meet God in Nigeria. The children said, God is also here in America. She said, I am talking of His Headquarters.

True Story!

She said, I know that as soon as my feet touch the Campground; I will be well.

They brought her to the Redemption Camp on a Wheelchair – As soon as they arrived here and her feet managed to touch the Ground, she jumped out of the Wheelchair.

Many of you don’t know what you have!

Say, I receive my Miracle today!

The Bible says in Ephesians 1:17-23; And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the Church, Which is his body, the Fullness of him that filleth all in all.

Heaven is His Throne – A Place of Settlement.

WHAT IS HEAVEN WORTH?

Matthew 16:26 says, For what is a man Profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own Soul? Or what shall a Man give in exchange for his Soul?

I was reading something, that the wealth of only four (4) People in America is more than all the African wealth put together – Those People must be rich.

But God says, supposed one Man has all the money under control and losses his Soul, it is a great lose.

Matthew 18:8-9 says, Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into Life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into Life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

It says, it is going to take cutting off your hand – That Place is worth something!

There is this Story we were told when we were Younger – The Story of somebody who saw a Vision of People going to Heaven; a lot of crowd. He saw that the Gate was closing gradually. But the People where chatting as they walked towards the Gate.

So he began to run; but the others were taking it easy. By the time he got to the door, he could only force himself in sideways.

As he slipped in his right hand remained outside, Preventing the door from closing Properly.

An Angel said to him Sir, your hand is not allowing the door to close – You have a Choice: To open the door for you to go outside; or cut off the hand and go in.

What will be your response? Cut off the hand!

In Matthew 16:25 Jesus Christ said, For whosoever will save his Life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his Life for my sake shall find it.

You know what that means? Heaven is worth dying for! If you have to die to make it to Heaven, it’s worth it.

These are the things that kept us going; we are ready to die for Jesus anytime.

There is the Story of a Lady Missionary years ago who came to Africa to Preach.

She got to a Village, Preached, People got saved, she rejoiced. Then she asked, is there any Village yet unreached for Christ?

They said Yes, but you can’t go there. She asked why? Because there are Lions on the way. She said, I must go there.

One Elderly Man said, I will go with you. She said, you that cannot defend yourself, how can you defend me?

The Elderly Man said, you don’t understand: Lions only kill when they are hungry. I cannot Preach, but you can. So I will go ahead, the Lion will kill me; when it’s satisfied you can pass and go and Preach.

True Story!

That’s the kind of Story we heard; and we are are willing to go anywhere for Christ.

Unlike nowadays: when a Man was Posted to somewhere in the North as a Regional Pastor; at the Weekend of Thanksgiving, he will go there, as soon as they finish Service he collects the Offering, and come back to the South.

When asked: why do you do so? He said, “I am not in this to die.”

You are not in this to die? What did Apostle Paul say? When the Holy Spirit said he should not go. He asked why? You will be killed. He said, I am ready to die.

In those days when we were Posted somewhere, we rejoiced.

When sent to a Virgin Land we said, “I am a TrailBlazer.”

When Posted to a Village where Nobody has been before, we were happy to go.

Some of the Elders here started Churches under trees. A few of them were lucky to have Classroom of a Primary School.

When the Church in Jos (Plateau State) started; it was in a small room where I met the Brother that was sent there.

Today, Jos is a Regional Headquarter. Somebody started it.

We didn’t ask for AC, fridge; we enjoyed suffering a little unconvince for the sake of Heaven.

… What is Heaven worth?

Luke 9:61-62 made is clear: And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the Plough, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.

No looking back.

You can’t believe it, there are Ministers of God who started off as Full-timers, but are now Big Businessmen.

There’s nothing wrong with being a Big Businessman; but after you’ve said you have forsaken all for Heaven – I’m going Full-time, to get back to Business is not right.

There are Stories that kept us going – There was this case of a Young Couple who just got married.

They came to Africa to Preach the Gospel and Souls were being saved.

They got to a Place with a very huge wall surrounding a Particular Place:

Are there People there? Yes!

Can we go there to Preach? Nobody goes in there and come out.

Why? Because they are all Lepers. We throw food to them over the wall. Doors open to allow People go in; you can’t come out.

But we want to go in?

If you go in, you can’t come out.

The husband looked at the wife, the wife looked at the husband; “All that the Lord said is Go! He didn’t say anything about coming back.”

If He sends you to Iraq, He is taking you out, you can die there and make Heaven.

We were willing to do this for His sake.

How long are you going to stay in the world? One hundred and forty (140) years, you will say, I want to go. Because your Great-Grandchildren will ask you, when are you going?

Let me say just one more thing before we Pray:

When we talk about Heaven, there is what I call “Now” and “Then”.

In other words, there is Heaven “Now”, there is Heaven “Then”.

What do you mean?

If you are a Child of God, Born Again, 1 John 4:17 says, Herein is our Love made Perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of Judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.

1 John 3:2 says, Beloved, now are we the Sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Now Heaven is available to us; “We are seated with Him in Heavenly Places”, some People teach us.

It is true, as He is so are we. But we still pay our Electricity Bill. If not, we’ll remain in Darkness, because we are still on a Journey.

In Philippians 3:12-14, Apostle Paul said, Not as though I had already attained, either were already Perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Paul, the Apostle of Grace said in Acts 20:23, Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every City, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my Life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with Joy, and the Ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the Gospel of the Grace of God. And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone Preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

He also said in 1 Corinthians 10:12, Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Revelation 2:10 says, Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into Prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have Tribulation ten days: be thou Faithful unto Death, and I will give thee a Crown of Life.

There is a Crown for you.

Apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:6-8; “I am going for my Coronation.” For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a Good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the Faith:

The Bible says in Revelation 3:11, Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

… There a a Crown; but it can be taken away.

In the Name that’s above every other name, God will not allow somebody else take away your Crown – Amen.

One of Stories when I was Young that kept me going – There was a serious conflict between Christianity and Communism in Russia, known as Soviet Union (USSR). If you get Born Again and they catch you, you’re in trouble. Yet People were Preaching and Souls were being saved.

In Iraq, Souls are being saved – Almost every week, the Brother there sends Testimony of what God is doing. People are being baptised in the Bathroom – Not River.

Baptism is to deep in water.

When Preaching in Public, he would say, “in the Name of BOJ (Blood of Jesus). People who are not of God don’t know what it means.

… Here I Pray for you in the Name of Jesus.

So these Young boys got Born Again in Russian – five (5) of them. And the Soldiers decided to kill them.

They built a huge Fire by the Riverside; they threw the boys inside the cold water naked – They were told that they could come to the fire if they renounce Christ.

The boys waited for a Miracle and nothing happened; they were freezing to death. Just about to breathe their last. One of the Boys jumped out of the water.

Suddenly, God opened the eyes of one of the Soldiers to see five (5) Angels carrying five (5) Crowns – As the Angel carrying his Crown turned; the Soldier cried out “Angel wait, I will take the Crown.”

You don’t think Heaven is worth dying? There is a Crown for you.

Once again I Pray you; Nobody would take your Crown away – Amen!

You must read the whole Bible.

For example in Romans 8:37, the Bible says, Nay, in all these things we are more than Conquerors through him that loved us.

Yet, 1 Timothy 6:12 says, Fight the Good fight of Faith, lay hold on Eternal Life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast Professed a Good Profession before many Witnesses.

Ephesians 1:3 says, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all Spiritual Blessings in Heavenly Places in Christ:

1 Corinthians 12:31 says, But covet earnestly the Best Gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more Excellent way.

1 Peter 2:24 says, Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto Righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

On the day Jesus Christ died He declared, it is finished (DMC NOTES: John 19:30).

For your Healing, James 5:14-16 says, Is any sick among you? let him call for the Elders of the Church; and let them Pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Name of the Lord: And the Prayer of Faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and Pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent Prayer of a Righteous man availeth much.

You say, “I thought by His Stripes I am healed? Why should I go back to the Elders?”

Learn to compare Scriptures – It is from Apostle Paul that I learnt Practical Christianity.

If you are sick, the Word of God is settled – Your Healing has been Paid for. All you have to do is Stretch forth in Faith.

Our Faith is not on the same Level.

For stubborn sickness, God says send for the Elders – There are some People whose Faith is bigger than yours.

There are Categories of Faith – Great Faith, Exceeding Great Faith.

The Faith for Healing headache is not the same for Healing Cancer.

… If you understand, say Amen!

Ephesians 3:20 says, Now unto him that is able to do Exceedingly Abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the Power that worketh in us,

That is a Settled matter!

In James 4:2 He says, Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

God can do it, but if you keep your mouth close, you’ll get Nothing.

In 2 Kings 4:1-7, the Widow of one of the Sons of Prophet was bankrupt. The All-sufficient God who says, Silver is mine, Gold is mine (DMC NOTES: Haggai 2:8) is sitting in Heaven with all His Wealth, Power, Mercy; And down here is the Widow who kept on suffering.

Why? Because she kept her mouth shut.

Everyday when People say, “Sister how are you?” She would say, The Lord is my Shepherd (Psalm 23).

The day the Creditors said, if you don’t pay the money you owe, we will sell your sons and recover our money; she cried to the Man of God.

That day, the Problem was solved.

Many of us refuse to cry to God for help.

You will be amazed: People watching me don’t know I am going to my Prayer Room to continue Praying. And then they complain that God has not solved their problem.

It’s because they didn’t ask – Cry to God today.

In Matthew 15:21-28, a woman came to Jesus Christ; the Bible says the woman fell down, Lord have Mercy on me. Jesus said I can’t give the children’s bread to dogs. She said, I agree I am a dog; but this dog is not going anywhere without a Miracle. Even if It’s crumbs.

And she got her Miracle.

I don’t know what you want – Tell Him LORD, I want to make it to Heaven, whatever it is going to cost me.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, Pray without ceasing.

John 24:16 says, Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my Name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your Joy may be full.

I will see you in the Evening, by the Special Grace of God.

It’s up to you now; you can Pray or you can fall asleep or you can go for a walk.

Thank You for all You’ve done for us since last year Convention (2023). And Thank You for what You will do this year (2024).

Please, accept our worship in Jesus’ Name.

Let Someone shout hallelujah – Hallelujah.

You cannot talk about Heaven without talking about Hell.

You can’t write with White chalk without a Blackboard.

Some People will make it to Heaven.

Are you one of them?

And some People, no matter what you do, would still go to Hell – That’s for sure.

One of the ways of measuring the brightness of Light is the Intensity of Darkness surrounding.

That is why we need to Praise God more.

Jesus is Alive!

I want to encourage you to be ready to learn or at least be as Wise as a cow.

What does that Mean?

There is the Possibility that you may not be able to swallow what I’m about to teach tonight – Don’t reject it; just put it on the Shelf, you may need it later.

I met S.G Elton for the first time in early 1950s. And I met him again in 1977 when he was a very old man.

When I discovered, there is lot I can learn from this man; I started visiting him every two weeks before he died – I asked him Questions.

There were things he told me which I couldn’t swallow back then; but I stored them.

Today I Thank God that when I reflect on what he told me, he wasn’t wrong; it’s just that my stomach was too tender to swallow them. As I grew I saw that he was absolutely correct.

DMC NOTES: Sydney Granville Elton (or Pa Elton as he was affectionately called) left his native Country, England, to come to Nigeria in March 1937, in response to a Divine Call to be Missionary to Ilesha in Osun State Nigeria. Since that time right up to his Home Call 50 years later, Pa Elton was always at the Centre of Revival, playing one key role or the other. He is undoubtedly the father of the Pentecostal Revival Movement in Nigeria. S. G. Elton followed in the footsteps of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Paul the Apostle from Tarsus and many others like them who though may be dead yet their Legacies live on through the lives they have touched.

Our Bible Text during this Ministers: Conference is Matthew 6: 9-13

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

… As it is in Heaven.

You say, “we know the Lord’s Prayer” – I know!

Proverbs 9:9 says, Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet Wiser: teach a Just man, and he will increase in learning.

If you are instructed and you know the thing, go over it again.

After all Psalm 23:1-3 gives you a rough idea of how a cow behaves: gets to the field, sees green grass, eats as much as it can. When taken away, it lies down, brings back the grass and begins to chew it again.

DMC NOTES: This Process of eating of the cow is called Rumination. Through the action of Rumination, they ferment the food, regurgitate and chew their food before the main Digestion Proces starts.

They call it, “chewing the cud.”

Listen again – Chew the cud.

Because John 14:26 says, the Holy Spirit will remind you of the things to come.

I appeal to you: Don’t stop learning!

There are some of us, we’ve not learnt a lot, because we look at the Preacher and say, “who is going to teach?” And you switch off.

I’ve learnt a lot from my children.

I used to think I taught my children all they knew – They know more than me.

I give you some Examples you can relate:

I have given opportunity to my son Leke (DMC NOTES: Pastor Leke), to Preach. I gave him an example of a Man who dug a well and got water.

He added that if he had dug deeper, he would have reached Gold.

I said, Oh God! I never taught him that!

He said if he had continued digging he would have gotten Oil.

I am the one who told him: there was a Shop Keeper who wrote: “No Credit today, come back tomorrow.”

And he turned it to: Say to Sickness, “No Vacancy today” don’t come tomorrow.”

I kept quiet.

He may not know it, but I’m grateful to him that I have learnt other things.

All I’m saying is, as Learned as you are; you can learn more – And .

In Luke 11:1, the Disciples went to Jesus and said, “Teach us.” And He said to them, this is how to Pray; – you begin by saying…

OUR FATHER

… That’s what I want to talk about today.

Many of you are “Too Advanced” – You don’t say the Lord’s Prayer.

… It is coming from the One who knows everything called Prayer.

“Our Father” – When I Pray, I say “My Father, who art in Heaven…”

… We will talk about “Who art in Heaven” tomorrow Morning (Day 2 Morning Session).

Why did He ask them to say “Our Father?”

Because Father means Source – Our Source.

He is my Source, He is my Origin.

You know in Genesis Chapter one (the whole Chapter); everything He Created, He gave them Seed to reproduce.

But in Genesis 2:7, when He wanted to create Man – And the LORD God formed Man of the dust of the Ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of Life; and Man became a Living Soul.

He put part of Him in the mud, and the mud became a Living Soul.

Which is why Ecclesiastes 12:1-7 tells you, Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy Youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no Pleasure in them; Then shall the dust return to the Earth as it was: and the Spirit shall return unto God who gave it (our Source).

The father is the Source of the child – That is why a child is named after the father, and not the mother.

The same thing happened when Jesus was to be conceived – Luke 1:35 says, And the Angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the Power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

When you become Born Again, God becomes your “Real Source” Spiritually speaking.

And until you became Born Again, you have no struggles because you had only one father then – The devil. Anything evil you enjoyed it.

When you lied, you enjoyed. Why? Because the father of all Liars is the devil (John 8:44).

But the moment you became Born Again, a struggle begins between your old father – Source and the New Source.

Galatians 5:17 tells you that immediately you become a Child of God, the Spirit fights the flesh – A struggle begins: For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

According to Romans 7:21-25, you’ll find that you want to do Good, but then something says no, do bad. And you know it’s wrong.

Then you struggle to decide who to cooperate with – God or the devil; the Spirit or the flesh.

Galatians 5:16 says, This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

When you are a Child of God, He expects you to behave like Him.

John 10:30 says, I and my Father are one.

John 14:7 says, If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

From time to time you have misbehaved, and Sinners (not even Children of God) would say, “but you call yourself a Child of God.

In other words, we know who we are, we have no Problem behaving the way we do. But you call yourself a Child of God.

In other words, Darkness knows how Light behaves.

And when you lie, they will challenge you – “Which side are you – Light or Darkness?”

The Standard of your Daddy is High.

I am sure you know most of the things we are talking about – Let it be like Revision.

This time He says in Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore Perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is Perfect.

I have told you before – An Apostle, in a Meeting of Apostles said to me “your Standard is very High.”

I smiled and said Sir, it is not my Standard, it is the Standard of my Father.

Everything God does, He does it Perfectly.

I gave a Sermon a long time ago – Everything God does is Perfectly done.

If you don’t learn anything from this RCCG Ministers’ Conference 2024, learn this: “Anything less than Perfect will not be allowed in Heaven.”

“God knows I am trying my best” – Deal with it now.

For Example, in Numbers 2319; the Bible says, God is not a Man, that he should lie; neither the Son of Man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

He is saying, if you are my Child, you will not lie any form of lie.

That is why He said in Revelation 22:15 that Liars will be outside; they won’t be allowed in.

Don’t believe those who say once you are Born Again, you can continue to live the way you like – Those are lies. Once you lie, you are out.

Then He says, “I am not the son of man that I should lie” – I will not be Hypocritical.

I won’t tell you this is white when it is black.

Why? He wants you to know that if you are Hypocrital l, you will not be allowed into His Presence.

Job 13:16 says, He also shall be my Salvation: for an Hypocrite shall not come before him.

Hypocrites will not be allowed to stand before Him.

This may sound a little tough to you now; but when you come face to face with Death, you will remember all these things.

One of the Engineers that was working on this Particular Auditorium did a poor job nailing the slates now on top. He cleverly was making money – Thank God the Problem was discovered before a Major Storm. He made money quiet well, but became very sick.

On his sick bed at LUTH he repented -:God said, restitute before I heal you.

He phoned me from Death bed, “Daddy, I did this and did that..” and asked that I Pray for him.

And I checked from God, should I Pray for him?

These are little things you need to know; because when you come face to face with Death, some of them could help you.

When we started work here one of the carpenters was making a lot money; I didn’t know what wood was soft or Iroko. And that they vary in cost because of their Strength – And we used a lot of wood.

So he made a lot of money Cleverly.

Something happened in a Town: Many People were waiting at a Bus station, a Bus lost control and ran into the crowd picked on fellow, carried the fellow away.

She happened to be the wife of the Carpenter.

The day he spent the last Kobo that he had saved, was the day his wife was discharged from the Hospital.

Your Father is Holy – Perfectly Holy; He has no room for Half will.

“Our Father which art in Heaven…” He sees and knows everything.

Revelation 3:15-16 says, I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Make up your Mind – Do I want to belong to devil or God?

The devil is paying attention, Particularly because the end is near.

You say, “we’ve been hearing all of these” – I know!

At least you know there are two (2) ways to go to Heaven – One is by Death, the other is by Rapture.

You can’t tell which Song you will sing last; which Sermon you will Preached last.

And you can’t tell which Song you will listen to last one which Sermon you will hear last.

It has happened here in Camp: One of my sons, a True Child of God came to the Holy Ghost Service. We finished, he went to his car sat down and fell asleep. By the time they arrived home the wife said, Daddy we are home.

… But Daddy had already gone Home!

You can never tell which of the Ministers’ Conference you will attend last.

I’m reminding you – This is not an Ordinary Ministers’ Conference – This is the Ministers’ Conference of the Convention HEAVEN.

One of my sons was watching me on Dove Media, the wife was there, they were saying Amen. But when the wife noticed that he was no more saying Amen, she thought he was Sleeping – But he was gone!

You can’t even tell the last Program you will attend.

Your Father is a Covenant keeping God.

Deuteronomy 7:9 says, Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the Faithful God, which keepeth Covenant and Mercy with them that Love Him and keep His Commandments to a thousand Generations

He keeps Covenant – That’s why He says you too must be a Covenant keeping Child.

In Psalm 15:1-4; He says, you want to come in my Presence? When you make a Promise and discover you have made a mistake; you have to Restitute.

… That’s His Standard.

Holiness is the Nature of your Father – Pure, Complete, Perfect Holiness.

Isaiah 6:1-3 says the Angels cry Holy, Holy, Holy.

And He expects you to be Holy.

1 Peter 1:15-16 says, But as he which hath called you is Holy, so be ye Holy in all manner of Conversation; Because it is written, Be ye Holy; for I am Holy.

Holiness a far as God is concerned is Total Obedience to God!

Stand up – Yes LORD.

Sit down – Yes LORD.

Eat – Yes LORD.

Fast – Yes LORD.

Pray – Yes LORD.

I have been to Places this year that I never Planned to go. But the Lord said, “Go” – Yes LORD; convenient or not convenient.

Let me round up tonight – We need to ask ourselves individually, between you and God:

• Am I actually a Child of God?

You say Daddy, what are you saying?

We are Ministers, we have answered the Altar Call, attended Believers Classes, we have been Baptised, attended Workers in Training Classes, we’ve been Ordained? Oh yes, I know!

2 Timothy 2:19 says: Nevertheless the Foundation of God s/Standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

• Am I His child?
• Does He knows me as His child?

David Prayed a Prayer in Psalm 139:23-24 – He said, Almighty God, Please don’t be angry that I am giving You an Assignment: Search me, O God, and know my Heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way Everlasting.

You see, anytime I read Judges Chapter 16 – That Story about Samson; what troubles me is that by the time Samson discovered that God had left him; it was critical. When he needed help seriously. He has been getting away with his Acts;

Read Judges 16:1-3, he spent the Night with an harlot; uprooted the gate of the City. But a time came, he thought “I would go as of other times” but God had left him.

It would be a Great tragedy if you heal, Perform Miracles: But at the most crucial time ever, you suddenly discovered that God has left you.

It would have been okay if Death is a function of Age – Some die at eighty (80), some die at thirty (30).

Death is not a function of Age.

A son of mine – One of my Students at the University of Lagos; I used to teach them Holiness.

I didn’t know he was travelling to his hometown.

As they were going around Okitipupa (Southern Part of Ondo State Nigeria), Armed Robbers attacked them, and one of them drew a sword at him.

My son said, in that split second when I saw the sword coming towards my throat, there was no time to decide but I remembered every Sermons that you have Preached – It’s as if time just stood still.

He said, in less than a second he Prayed “God, spare me this time and I will never offend you again.”

Miraculously, the hand holding the sword did not come down because God chose to spare his Life so he could Testify to others.

We will gather tomorrow (Day 2 Morning Session) at 7.00am:

Spend one (1) hour Worshipping God – Don’t ask for anything as you just Worship Him.

But tonight I want you to talk to your Father in Heaven:

1. Thank Him that you are still alive.
2. Like David, asked Him: To search you Oh Lord and Examine me

And that before tomorrow Morning, He should reveal to you all you need to Restitute.

That Lord, I can’t stop You from coming but if You can just delay Your Coming Lord in order to Search and Examine me.

And that the Lord will give you the Grace to do so!

Go ahead to Pray and drop your Offering as you are going.

I will see you tomorrow’s Morning if the Lord has not come!!!

Daddy, we are grateful for this opportunity to ask a few Questions”

QUESTION NO 1:

Sir, Can we establish a Group of Representatives of YAYA to speak for Age Sixteen (16) to Thirty (30) in the RCCG System at the Tables where decisions are being made?

ANSWER GIVEN BY DADDY GO:

It is absolutely okay for a Representative of any Age Group to be at a Meeting where decisions are made; to make a Presentation.

But to become Part and Parcel of that Level were decisions are made is not Scriptural.

If they have something they want to say, they can request for audience at the Level where decisions are made – They can come, and make their Presentations.

The Authority will listen to them, give them assurance that they will definitely consider what they have said; after serious Prayer, and get back to them.

That I can guarantee from now on.

QUESTION NO 2:

Daddy, what steps can be taken to reduce Church Leadership Politics and Invites among the Senior Pastors and Regular Pastors in the Mission (RCCG)?

And how can the Leaders be held accountable to Prevent discouragements among the next Generation?

ANSWER GIVEN BY DADDY GO:

That’s a serious one!

All we can do is remind these Church Leaders that our Number 1 Goal as a Member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (Pastor or no Pastor) is to make Heaven.

If these People forget Heaven and begin to play Politics; it would be sad that they are Leaders on Earth and they would end up as Leaders in Hell. We can only tell them the Truth – We can’t force it into their brains.

We have seen Top Leaders forgetting their Original Goal; in what you call ‘In-House Fighting.’ Because, if I am going to Heaven, and that’s my Number 1 Goal; and you are also going to Heaven, I don’t see me fighting you: We would be Partners in Progress.

But if one is going to Heaven and the other has deviated from the Narrow Path; that’s when Problems come. So all we can do is remind them (like I’m doing now).

Which is one of the reasons why the Theme for our Annual World Convention 2024 in Nigeria this Year (DMC NOTES: Starting from 5th to 11th August 2024); is “HEAVEN.”

Because it looks as if some People have lost focus of Heaven. It does not Profit a Man if he gains the whole world and loses his Soul.

So the Leaders are hearing me now, Inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC: We know that America is the bedrock of Democracy; but I’ve said it again and again, “God is not a Democrat.”

Democracy is the Government of the People, by the People, for the People – I hope I got the sequence right?

But you didn’t hear the Word ‘God’ in that and you will not find Democracy in Heaven.

Because, wherever there is Democracy, automatically there is Politics. If you don’t allow God to rule through you in His Church, you will have to deal with Him.

Because He says in Matthew 16:18: And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not Prevail against it.

… So, if you become a ‘Gate of Hell’ in His Church, He will know how to deal with you.

More than that, there’s very little we can do, because “Politicians will be Politicians.” And they pay the Price at the right time. Okay!

QUESTION NO 3:

Daddy, we’ve heard you say it repeatedly in the Morning Devotionals this Season that you have asked God not to allow you visit RCCG North America because there are other Places to visit.

Sir, what should RCCG North America do to ensure that you will keep coming Year after Year, until the Trumpet sounds?

ANSWER GIVEN BY DADDY GO:

I have a Commander-in-Chief, and I will always obey Him. He is fully aware that a Soul is a Soul – Whether an American Soul, an Egyptian Soul, a Japanese Soul.

He knows that His Church is in close to Two Hundred (200) Nations of the World.

He knows that there are many of these Nations that I have never visited once.

He knows that we have to love our Neighbours like ourselves.

That if you have been visited dozens of times, and there is Japan, Iraq, Iran, Libya that have not been visited once; He might expect you to be considerate and let those People have a taste of what you’ve been enjoying over the years.

So, what can Americans do to cause me to begin to come year after year as we used to do in the past?

They would have to talk to my Commander-in-Chief – If He says come, my answer would be, Yes LORD.

*If He says, these People are already over-fed, let’s go and feed those who are hungry – “Yes LORD” will be my answer.

One thing I know though is that, in a way I cannot explain, He has a very great Love for America.

Daddy, Thank You Sir.

QUESTION NO 4:

Daddy, there’s a Mass Exodus of Youths and Young Adults (YAYA) from the Mission (RCCG) due to Indiscipline and some other issues and Lack of the Raw Manifestation of the Power of God in Services and Programs.

How can we fix this Sir?

ANSWER GIVEN BY DADDY GO:

I think the Elders are here, inclusive the ones reading now on the Label of DMC:

I. Because the Word of God made it clear: “These People will not believe unless they see Signs and Wonders.”

And I believe this will drive the Elders to their knees.

There is only One Miracle Worker, and that is God. And if you know how to approach Him there would always be Miracles, Signs and Wonders.

The Holy Ghost Service started in Nigeria in 1986 – Inspite of all the traffic jams, and all manners of hardship; every First (1st) Friday of the Month, the Place is packed at the Redemption Camp.

Why?

• Because they know if they get there, they will hear from the Holy Spirit.
• Because they know if they get there, Miracles will happen.

But then, behind the scene is the fact that the little Vessel that God is going to use will lock himself up for days, before the Holy Ghost Service.

To say Daddy; You have to do something because Your People are coming.

So the Elders will wake up, begin to spend Quality Time with the Miracle Worker.

We don’t go to the “Green Room” before Ministration; but we go to the Prayer Room:

• To seek the Face of the One who must go with you to the Pulpit for anything to happen.
• Go to the One who knows who and who will be coming to Church; what and what are their Needs?

And be able to meet those Needs through you as you open your mouth to speak; because you have already spent time with Him.

If the Battery is not Charged, at the crucial moment when you want to start the car, there’ll be failure.

… That’s Number one (1).

II. God does not need to Perform Miracles through the Elders alone.

Philip was a Young Man – He belonged to the Group of YAYA.

He left the Elders in Jerusalem, went to Samaria and turned the entire City upside down, because of the Signs and Wonders that God Performed through him.

So I can say this: The Youths who are leaving the Church to go and attend another Church where he says Miracles are happening; is like someone who sees his father’s house leaking and instead of fixing the leak, decides to go to another man’s house.

The Youths, if they find that the People at the Top are tired; should cover the Nakedness of their Leaders, by crying to the Almighty God and saying: “Your Promises are for those who believe” – not those who are Elders”.

… And I hope that is clear?

QUESTION NO 5:

Sir, when Elijah was leaving, the Mantle fell for Elisha. How do we Prepare to be able to receive the Mantle?

Even if it’s coming like Agbada that we might have to cut to a waistcoat, so that some of us will share it.

ANSWER GIVEN BY DADDY GO:

Elisha did not ask for Position of Leadership.

Elisha did not say to Elijah, “I want to be the Leader of all the Sons of the Prophet at your departure.”

My advice to the Young Ones is: Don’t seek Position, Seek Anointing.

If you seek Anointing and you get it; “The Gift of a Man will make a way for him.

Please, can we stand and say: Thank You Daddy for this opportunity?

Help me celebrate our Daddy.

TOPIC: THE GREAT COMMISSION – PART 3 (BAPTIZE, TEACH, OBSERVE)

BIBLE TEXT: MATTHEW 28:18-20

Well, as you know, I’ve been doing a Series on: “THE GREAT COMMISSION.”

In Part 1 we looked at the initial Command “GO!” And we’ve looked at the fact that going is not just about moving, but also carrying something with us.

In Part 2 we talked about Discipleship – Which is the main task of the Great Commission. And that’s what we looked at last week.

Today we are going a little further to examine the Great Commission; and we are going to look at what it means to us, and how to achieve Discipleship.

Today I want to talk about the Assignment of the Church or the Great Commission: BAPTISE, TEACH, OBSERVE.

When we talk about the Assignment of the Church, we sometimes limit it only to Preaching the Gospel; leading People to Christ or Soul Winning – Which is great.

But that is only part of the Great Commission – That is actually the Introduction.

But the Question is: What do you do with the Person who has come to know Jesus Christ as Lord?

What do you do as a Christian?

After you get Born Again, what are you supposed to be doing with your Life?

When we bring or lead People to Christ, what are we supposed to do with them further?

All these are what we want to pay our attention to today;

Because the Christian Life is not just about going to Church, dressing nicely, having a great time, listening to great music and meeting friends, and all that – It’s all part of it. But there is a greater reason why Jesus Christ told us to do His Work. And when we become Christians, we must be about that business.

We are going to look at Discipleship; but today I am going to look at the steps that Jesus gave for us to disciple People as Christians.

In this Part 3 we are going to focus on Three (3) Words: Baptise, Teach, Observe.

These are the three (3) Actions that Jesus told us to undertake as we disciple the Nations.

Let’s go back to our Primary Bible Text which we’ve been looking at from Part 1 – And that is Matthew 28:18-20. And let’s hear the reading of God’s Word;

Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV)

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Jesus says the reason you go to the Nations is to disciple them – It means that you are going to transform Nations.

That would include individuals; but it also includes Communities of People, Ethnic Groups.

All kinds of People who come to Christ must be transformed.

And the Process of Transformation comes through discipling them.

So He talked about Three (3) Things – And I’m going to occupy our thoughts with them today:

1. BAPTISE:

The Word ‘Baptise’ literarily means to immerse into. To deeply be submerged into something.

He says you should Baptise them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

The clear thing we get here about baptism is that it is both Physical and Spiritual.

I know some of you have been baptised; and some of you don’t really think it’s important. But it is a “Real Command” from Jesus.

He said, “baptise them” – It means that everybody who comes to Jesus Christ must be baptised. It’s not Optional.

And He says, you baptise them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Now, most of us are familiar with Baptism – That it means you immerse somebody into water and bring them up.

That is the Physical act – You put the Person in the water.

But you don’t keep them there forever – You bring them up.

Because if you keep them down for ever, they will die.

… So this is the Physical Action that takes place.

But there is also a Spiritual act that is taking place at the time you are doing this Physical act.

Because that Person is being identified with Christ in His Death and Resurrection.

So Jesus Christ is saying: Baptise them – Every Believer must be immersed.

There are several Church Traditions that baptise infants.

We do not belong to that Tradition – We believe that for a Person to be baptised, they must understand what is taking place. And they must have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour before they are baptised.

Why did Jesus say that a Person must be baptised?

Why did Jesus say that a Person who would be His Disciple; a Person who would live for Him must be Baptised?

He has His reasons:

I. It means to identity them with Christ.

Those who are baptised by immersion, Spiritually they are baptised into Christ.

This is a Physical Action with a Spiritual meaning – The Person is being baptised into Christ; identifying with two important things about Christ:

• His Death, when put down.
• And His Resurrection, when pulled up.

So when a Person is baptised, he is saying, “I died with Christ, and I have resurrected with Christ. I am identifying with Christ”.

It doesn’t mean that we just deep People into water and bring them out.

I mean, you can do all of that; but there has to be a meaning; there has to be a sense that, at this Point my Life is surrendered to Christ. I am identifying with Him, I am part of Him, and I am committed to living for Him.

A Discipled Christian is the Person who has a sense of Identity with Christ Jesus.

• We don’t baptise People into our Church;
• We don’t baptise them into our Community alone;

We baptise them into Christ – They identify with Christ

And the Bible actually says something about it in Galatians 3:27-28 – For as many of you as have been baptised into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither Male nor Female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

II. Apart from Identifying with Christ; Baptism identifies every Believer with the Body of Christ.

The Body of Christ is the Community of Believers who believe in Jesus Christ.

And Paul says the Body of Christ has no Male or Female; no Jew or Gentile.

And in our sense we can say – Black or White, Rich or Poor, Clergy or Congregation.

We are all baptised into Christ.

And a true Disciple is one who sees himself as part of every other Christian.

Jesus Christ warns His Disciples not to see themselves as different Nations, but as one Nation, one Kingdom, a Group of People belonging to Christ – That’s what God wants us to have as a Church.

That we don’t build a Church where People see themselves and say, “Oh! I belong to this Group, I don’t belong to that. That’s not my friend; that’s a different tribe, I can’t deal with them.”

The Christian Life goes beyond that!

We are baptised into Christ and we are baptised into the Body of Christ:

And in that Process, we see every Believer as our Brother and our Sister in Christ Jesus.

The Brotherhood, the Sisterhood of Believers; of those who are committed to the Lord Jesus Christ. And that is part of the Great Commission.

So when we go out as a Church and we bring People into Church, we don’t bring them into Church and discriminate against them.

That is why we have to be careful as a Church; that we don’t become so caught by external identification that we lose the Spirit leading.

In our Church we are going to have People who come in there, who don’t look like you – Probably they come in dreadlocks and you say, “A Christian should not have dreadlocks; I don’t like the way they are dressed; I don’t like this about them. Why is she wearing all these kind of makeup and all of that?” We have to look beyond that.

And of course, People have to make adjustments in their own lives; on how they dress, how they Present themselves.

But we shouldn’t let Limitations keep us from welcoming People into the Body of Christ.

That’s what we do here in our Church.

When People enter the Church, we don’t ask, what tribe are you?

Some Churches have Scissors at the entrance so that if your hair is not Properly done they bring it to the required Standard Measurement. But we don’t do that here.

We believe People should come in and identify with Christ as the Scripture teaches.

That is what it means to disciple someone – And that is Part of the Great Commission.

A Church that really wants to reach out to the world must not become concerned about how People look externally.

… That’s not all, Jesus says yes Baptise them. But He says;

2. TEACH:

You are to teach them – That’s an important Part.

People come to Church, they get Teaching.

Teaching means to explain and to instruct.

The Great Commission is not just about Proclaiming the Gospel, but it is also about Teaching those who have received the Gospel.

And unfortunately these days, especially in Charismatic Churches, there is very little emphasis on Teaching.

People want to go to Church, they want Breakthrough, Favour, Increase.

We have so many problems and we put our Problems ahead of our Discipleship.

Jesus puts it differently; He says if you seek God as His Disciple; seek God and His Righteousness, all these things will be added to you. (Matthew 6:33).

And He knows you need a Breakthrough, Financial Favour, a wife, and a husband – He knows that you need these things but don’t make that your Priority.

We come to be Discipled, to be Christlike and then He takes care of all our other Needs.

If we put our Needs ahead, we’ll never become really Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

They would come into the Church; they may come in bad shapes; but through Teachings there would be Transformations.

HOW DO WE TEACH?

I. First, we instruct them with the Bible:

We don’t instruct them with our words – And that is so important.

These days a lot of Pastors think that the way to disciple People is to train People to be like them, or fit into something they believe in.

And whether that thing fits into the Bible or not, they just want People who are committed to their way of doing things.

But we don’t do that in Discipling People.

Remember, we are not Discipling People after ourselves.

We are not Discipling People to be like us; we are Discipling People to be like Christ. And the measure of that is the Word of God.

So we Teach them the Word of God – We put the Word of God Central to what People hear.

And I am committed to that – I am committed to the Teaching of the Word. And going deeper with you as we explore deeper in the Word of God because, that’s how we get discipled.

It’s not just picking Bible Verses here and there that suits us – You pick a Psalm here, something from Isaiah that deals with your Enemies, and that gives you Power.

It’s good to pick Verses that inspire you but the Christian Life is not about Cherry Picking; Picking Verses that inspire you, that make you feel good.

The Christian Life is learning the Totality of what God wants you to teach.

To disciple People, they have to be instructed in the Word of God and from the Word of God, not from my Books. Not from somebody else’s books, but from the Word of God.

Of course if there are Books we have to read, we read them.

But learn to make the Bible an important Part of the Discipleship Program.

And to teach, we instruct them with our Exemplary Christian Living. Because every Believer is called to be a Disciple.

But at the same time, every Believer is called to help disciple other People who come to Christ.

Let’s say somebody comes to Church, wants to learn the Christian Life; we say go to the Bible and teach them the Bible; and then they will look at your Lifestyle and our Lifestyle is totally different – We are Judgemental, and we are not kind. There is no Generosity in your Spirit.

People come to Church and you just treat them harsely. And still we say we are discipling them.

No! Because if we do that, we are not setting the right example.

II. You Teach by Exemplary Christian Lifestyle:

Paul says you immitate me as I immitate Christ.

So my job as a Pastor is not just to teach the Bible; but to also live an exemplary Christian Life.

I don’t want People to say, “Oh! He is a Man of God – Touch not the Anointed.”

That’s not the way we look at it.

You want to look at a Person who says he is a Pastor, and you want to say he is an Exemplary Christian – Not that he is Anointed; not that he has Spiritual Immunity, not that he has a Special Grace; but he is Exemplary.

When People come to our Church, they should say, “these People really know their Bible.”

But not only that, “they are living it out!”

The Questions you’ll want to ask yourself are:

• Is my Life Exemplary?
• Can I take a New Convert and say, “I just want to help you live a Christlike Life; and I want you to watch the way I live?”
• Would that be a Good Example to that Person?
• If that Person followed you, will they feel that they are living a better Life?

So you have to think about it!

And it’s scary when we ask ourselves these Questions; because all of us know we are Human, and we know our Limitations.

God knows our Limitations, but He still calls us to live Exemplary lives.

People who come to Church are going to learn from the People they meet in Church:

I. If the People they meet in Church are Loving, they will be Loving;

II. If the People they meet in Church are mean Spirited, they will be mean spirited;

III. IIf the People they meet in Church are Self-Centered, they will be Self-Centered. Then they are going to think the Christian Life itself is Self-Centered.

And I Pray that when People come to our Churches and they encounter you, they will remain – Amen.

By the way, you are the Best Christians that we have – We can’t get anything better than you.

It doesn’t mean that you are living the best Life; but that’s all we have.

So when People come to this Church, most People are not going to meet the Pastor – A few People meet me directly.

But most People are not meeting me – They are going to meet Ushers, Counsellors, People in the Choir, People who are in the Praise Team – People who lead in Praise and Worship. People who play in the Band because they are faces of the Church.

So if you play the Band, you are saying, I stand here in the Band, but my Life also is consistent in Christ.

And so if after Service you are doing something else; you are putting off somebody whom you have discipled: and you are directly against the Great Commission.

I am not putting the Praise Team on the Spotlight but they have to be Mindful, because they are the ones who stand on the stage with Pastors.

You are bragging that you have been in Church for a very long time and that you know a lot.

It is good for you to have been in church for a very long time; the question is:

• Have you been Discipled by Christ?
• Is your Life Exemplary?
• And for the New People to whom you are bragging your longevity; do they see you as Exemplary Christian?

So that’s how we Teach – With the Word of God and with our Exemplary Christian Life.

The third (3rd) and final thing Jesus said, “Teach them to observe all things that I have said.”

3. OBSERVE:

To Observe means to keep and to honour.

And He didn’t say you are to observe just what your Church teaches; but you are to observe all things.

It’s all Centered on Christ Jesus – That must be the way that Nations are Discipled.

In fact, when you study Church History, you would know that even in Nations like Europe, before many of the Nations in Europe and the tribes of Europe came into Christianity; these are some of the things that transformed the Society; gave them better work ethics, better ways of working, better ways of Stewarding their Assets, better ways of treating the weak and the Vulnerable.

It’s all Christlike, and it transformed their Society.

Unfortunately, most of those Societies are turning away from the Foundation that gave them the Morality to build the Societies they have built.

But we in Africa must do better.

“… To Observe all things that I teach.”

What does it mean to us?

It means that when we bring People to Christ; when we go out, whether through Preaching – Whatever we are doing; when we bring People to Church we must Change them.

2. And it also means to Charge them to honour what Christ has instituted.

Christ instituted His Church; He Changed them to be baptised, to Partake of the Lord’s Table – Holy Communion.

Those are Change. It’s a command and we must observe it.

That’s why, if you are in Church and you have not been baptised – I know you will say well, “I was baptised as an infant.*

But at the time you were baptised, Somebody stood in for you and said “well, he has made a Decision to live for Jesus Christ.”

Since you’ve grown up, you need to make a Decision to God and say “now I want to Publicly identify with Christ: I need to go where He went.”

Remember Jesus Himself said – He had to be baptised to fulfill all Righteousness.

If you are now saying, there are imperatives in our Christian lives and there are lots of options; then you are not a Christian.

If you are a Christian, do what Christ says – You need to be baptised.

So if you’ve not be immersed in water Physically, to show your identity with Christ; you need to do so.

He says, “teach them to observe to do all things…”

• And He Commanded that we be Baptised;
• He Commanded that we Partake of Holy Communion in Remembrance of Him.
• He Commanded us to walk in Love.

If you look at the Totality of the New Testament, He Commanded us to be a Church – To come together in Fellowship; to assemble together, to be His Body and to represent Him.

So these are the things that are important for Disciples:

• You cannot choose when you go to Church, when you don’t want to go to Church.
• You cannot say, “today I want to rest, I don’t feel like it.”

It’s not about your feeling my friends; it’s about the Command of Jesus.

For those of us who are in the Church, who are going to bring People to Christ, these are the things we need to do:

• We are bringing them to Christ.
• We are bringing them to Identify with Christ.
• We are bringing them to be Baptised into Christ.
• We are bringing them to be Taught of Christ Jesus.
• We are bringing them to observe to do all that Christ Commanded.

And it’s not just the individual, it is also for families, etc.

• And that we must be committed as a Church that obeys the Great Commission.

By going out, bringing People in, Baptise them, Teach them to Observe everything that Christ taught.

And of course, the first way to do that is for an individual to decide – I need Jesus in my Life. I want Jesus to come into my heart; I want to live for Him, I want to have a Brand New Life in Christ Jesus, I want to be Born Again.

I want to serve Him with my Life, I want to Dedicate my Life to Him.

OPENING PRAYER

What a Mighty God You are, our Father and our God?

You are so Great – So Big and Powerful that You can take care of everybody on Planet Earth.

As many as we are, Your Power is Sustaining all of us – You are feeding us, feeding all the animals, feeding all the birds, finding all the fishes.

You are sending Your Son to warn us – Both Sinners and Saints alike.

You make sure that Night will follow Day so that whether our bodies likes it or not, we have an opportunity to rest.

We Worship You Lord – What a Mighty God we serve.

Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Today, as we gather before You again, in all our lives; demonstrate Your Almightiness – Let all our Needs be met and continue to be Merciful unto us.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Well, greet your Neighbours – And say: It is going to be extremely well with you today in Jesus Name (Amen).

And then, you may Please be seated.

We are now moving on to Part 52 in our Series: “For Whon The Heavens Open”.

And we have been using Joshua as our Case Study.

But then, a couple of Series ago, we came across the Study of Caleb – Whose Destiny is connected to that of Joshua.

We have read a Bible Text from Joshua 14: 6-14.

But today, we are going to read from Verse 9 – Joshua 14: 9-14.

9. And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the Land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.
10. And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.
11. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my Strength was then, even so is my Strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
12. Now therefore give me this Mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the Cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.
13. And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an Inheritance.
14. Hebron therefore became the Inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.

… This Place is loaded.

But the Section that we want to look at here is in Verse 9 really.

He was telling Joshua – He said that you heard and you were there when Moses sware on that day saying: Surely, the Land whereon thy feet had trodden shall be thine Inheritance and thine children forever.

We want to learn a very big Lesson from Caleb here – And that Lesson is: “REMIND GOD OF HIS PROMISES”.

Isaiah 43:26; the Almighty God Himself said that: “Put me in Remembrance”.

Are you saying that it is Possible for God to forget what He had Promised? No!

Are you saying that God may be too busy to remember you? No!

It is true that at any given moment, there are Millions of People crying to God for one thing or the other – And you are just one of them.

And I have always said that if there are three (3) People in an Emergency Ward involved in a Critical Accident and all of them were very big People – Highly Educated and Important People and it is only one Doctor there.

And one see the Doctor coming and say: The Doctor should know why I am here in this Emergency Ward – He will come and attend to me.

And another one said: Well, there are three (3) of us; maybe I should call on him to come but I mustn’t lose my Dignity. Then he says: Doctor, I am here; will you Please come over here and help me?

And the 3rd Fellow says today is not the day of Grammar as I am in trouble. And he shouted: Doctor, Please come here because I need Help.

The Doctor is going to attend to one first.

I Pray that today, you will learn to cry unto God – Amen!

Because what He says is: “Call on Me”. He didn’t say: Murmur or whisper – He said: “Call on Me”.

And God Himself is the One who said: “Put me in Remembrance”.

Because you must remember that what you are calling a “Long Time” is not a long time – A Thousand years is like a Day before Him. And you have been suffering for only two (2) or three (3) years – That’s a few Seconds before Him.

Check the Scriptures; all those who cried to Him; got His attention.

I. Bartimeaus cried and that was the day he got His attention.

II. The Widow of one of the Sons of the Prophets in 2 Kings 4: 1-7.

For a long time, she has been smiling – How are you Sister? Oh, the Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not want.

But when the Creditors say that you don’t pay by tomorrow, your children are gone? She wasn’t a “Lady” that day; she cried.

The day she cried, was the day the Problem get solved.

I hope Somebody will cry to God today – Remind God; remind Him of what He Promise!

1. Are you Sick?

I. Remind Him of what He said in Exodus 15:26 – God, You are the One who said: If I will obey You, if I will seek You diligently; you will not allow any Sickness to come upon me. You say that You will be my Doctor.

Thank God for Medical Doctors – They are Wonderful People. But they are like Mechanics dealing with cars

The Mechanics cannot be like the Manufacturer of the car.

And sooner or later, the Doctors will tell you that: There is Nothing more that we can do.

There is Someone who made you – And He has your Spare Parts in Heaven!

Please cry to Him today and tell Him: I am tired of Suffering, Pain, Ache etc – You Promised to be my Doctor and so where are you?

II. Remind Him that He said in Mark 16: 17-18 – If you believe me, you will lay hands on the Sick and they will recover.

I believe You Lord – I am not a Doubter and I believed every Words You have Spoken.

Some of you have heard the Story before – My first visit to Zambia.

I ate a food – Because He said wherever you go, whatever they give, you should eat.

But the food that I ate didn’t agree with my stomach – I bless the food before I ate it but the stomach just refused.

And I started going to the toilet – I can’t remember whether the 23rd or 24th time of going to the toilet in one Night and I remembered that God said that I shall lay hands on the Sick and the Sick shall recover.

He didn’t say who the Sick will be?

I am the Sick now, so I lay my own hands on my own head – And I say: In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Adeboye be healed!

That was the last time that I went to the toilet.

2. Do you find yourself in any form of Bondage?

Have you discovered suddenly that I did something wrong – Yes, I made mistake and because of this mistake, I have opened the door for the devil.

I. Remind Him that He is the One who Promised in Isaiah 49: 24-26 – He said: Can the Lawful Captive be delivered? He said that even the Lawful Captives shall be delivered.

I got myself into trouble – I am now a Lawful Captive in the hands of Satan and Satan is using my loopholes and my mistake to torment me.

Lord, I remind You that You said even the Lawful Captives shall be Set Free.

II. Remind Him – Psalms 91: 14-15; You are the One who said: Because I have set my Love upon You, You will deliver me.

Lord, You know that I loved You – I admit that I made a mistake, I am sorry. But you know I love You, You know all Things.

If I don’t Love You and I am Pretending; You will know.

But You know all Things – That I love You; deliver me!

3. Is there anyone barren in your Family? Remind Him!

I. Remind Him that He was the One who said in Exodus 23:26 – That there shall be None barren among my People.

II. Remind Him of John 15: 1-5 – He is the One who said that He is the Fruitful Vine and if I abide in Him; I will bear much Fruit.

III. Remind Him of Isaiah 45:11 – He is the One who said that concerning the works of my hands, Command ye me.

So my Beloveth Daughters, even if the Doctors had said that you can never have a Child, lay your hands on your womb right now and Command that womb – Tell the womb: My God Promised that you shall not to be barren!

And it doesn’t matter what the Doctors may say, Command that womb – Womb, hear the Word of God; it is written that thou shall not be barren!

4. Do you find yourself Stagnated?

You are doing your very best and there is Nothing to show for it.

Everybody seems to be making Progress, except you.

I. Remind God that He said in Deuteronomy 28:13 – You are the One who said that I shall be the Head and not the Tail.

They are Promoting my Juniors above me – You said that If I follow You wholeheartedly, I observe and do all that I Command (Which by the Grace of God that I am doing); You said that I will be the Head and not the Tail.

… Above and not Beneath!

II. Remind Him that it is not my Boss who decides Promotion – Psalms 75: 5-7, the Bible says clearly that Promotion comes from God.

And you are God and You are the Promoter – I am Your Child and so You must determine my Promotion.

I mean many of you will remember the Story of one Fellow that his Seniors gang up against him because he was a True Child of God and not Compromising and they have already given him a sack Letter.

Then they took the list to the owner of the Company – Sir, we are Restructuring because of the Economic situation of the Country and this is what we have done.

And the Chairman took the list and look at it all the way through.

When he got to that Child of God and said: Ha, ha; this Fellow? Why are you sacking him?

Oh, because we don’t have enough room in the Level where he is.

And the owner of the Company said: But what of here? Move him up!

It is God who determines Promotion – Remind Him today!

Tell the Almighty God that you are tired of Stagnation; move me Higher!

III. In 1 Peter 5:6; it is written that if you humble yourself under the Mighty Hands of God, He will lift you up.

5. Are you in trouble right now? Are you in crises? Remind God

I. That it is written in Psalms 50: 14-15 – God said: Thank Him (Which I am sure that you are doing); Pay your Vows (Which I am sure that you are doing) and then tell Him, Lord I am grateful to You for all You have done.

I am not owing any Vow – The ones I made, I have fulfilled.

You Promised that if I call on You in the time of trouble; You will answer.

II. Remind Him that it is written in Isaiah 43: 1-2 – Tell Him that You are the One who said that even when I am Passing through the Fire, I won’t be burnt.

Now, I am Passing through Fire now and this is the day of trouble; you must come to my aid.

I remembered very well that day – You know the Story:

I had gone to visit our Church in Ilorin. I was about to leave on Monday, when they called me and said: Sir, there is a woman here about to deliver. She said to us that she has said before that on the day of her Delivery, that is when she was going to die.

Then she came to the Maternity Center? They said: We don’t know o! We think that she has Changed her Mind and doesn’t want to die anymore.

So, they asked me to come and Pray for her before I leave.

So, I went to the Maternity Center and told her that is it true that you wanted to die? She didn’t answer.

Okay, you are here now! You aren’t going to die in the Mighty Name of Jesus – So I Prayed and left.

Well from Ilorin to Ilesha; from Ilesha to Ibadan and finally arrived back to Lagos.

Three (3) days later; the People came and they said: Sir, the Fellow you Prayed for three (3) days ago; as soon as you left, gave birth to a baby.

But we discovered that there is another baby inside her and we have Prayed all manners of Prayers and the Second baby hasn’t come.

I said is that so? Is that why you came all the way from Ilorin? And they said Yes.

My Heart was trembling but I was Pretending that you have to be the General Overseer now and be courageous.

Is that why you came? Who told you that the God in Lagos is not the same God in Ilorin?

I gave them a bottle of coke each; common on, go back home and before you get home, the baby would have arrived.

Yes sir, they turned back and they left.

As soon as they left, I ran to my Prayer Room, fell on my face and said: Oh God, today is my day of trouble.

Are you Passing through Fire? Cry to Him today and He will see you through.

I remembered very clearly, God saying to me – You mean that you didn’t believed what you said? I said that I believed.

He said that if you believe then go and eat.

By the time they got home, the woman had not just delivered the 2nd baby; she had delivered a 3rd – There were Triplets in her womb.

I cried to Him in the day of trouble and He heard me.

The same God is your God.

Are you Passing through Fire? Remind Him!

That brings us to one very critical thing:

HOW CAN I REMIND HIM OF WHAT I DON’T KNOW?

1. There are several Promises in the Scriptures – If you don’t know these Promises, how can you remind God.

That is why in 2 Timothy 2:15; the Bible says: Study the Word of God to show yourself Approved unto God.

2. You are not just to Study the Bible, Deuteronomy 11:18 says: Memorise the Scriptures. Lay up the Words of God in your Heart.

One of my children once asked me – Daddy, how come you know so many Bible Passages in the Bible? You mentioned a Passage and while we are still trying to open it, you are already quoting it.

Just one at a time – If you memorise just one Passage a week.

That is why in our Sunday School, we have Memory Verses.

Then you will discovered that within a year, you have known 52 Passages by Heart.

Do that for 10 years, you will know 520 Passages by Heart.

3. And then Psalms 1: 1-3 tells you that if you want to be blessed; Medidate on the Word of God Day and Night.

What does this Passage means?

What is God trying to say: Keep on Meditating on it Day and Night.

You see, because the Bible says in Luke 6:45 – It is out of the Abundance of the Heart that the mouth speaks.

It is that which you have stored up in your Heart that will become available when trouble comes.

I told you that when I became General Overseer and I was visiting our “Small Churches” and everybody was coming out to greet me, and everything sounding so wonderful. And then, I was finally going to visit my Hometown.

And all of a sudden, I heard the devil said to me Clearly – The Elder has a Proverb: “To die Young and be buried with a Horse, is better than to die Old and have no Chicken to make your demise”.

Die now! – That is very Glorious to you!

A Word of God came from my Heart – “I shall not die but I will live to Proclaim the works of God!”

If you don’t Memorise these things, what will rise up to face the devil?

Remember Psalms 119:89 – Forever Oh Lord, thy Word is Settled.

Remind Him – Remind Him because He is a Faithful One who has Promised!

2 Corinthians 1: 19-20 says: All Promises of God in Jesus Christ are yea and amen.

ALTAR CALL

That is why you must Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ.

If you have Him, all the Promises of God for you will be yea and amen.

When you received Jesus Christ, suddenly you begin to Understand that the Bible is not just a Book but a Collection of the Promises of God.

And these Promises are there for you if you are one of His Own.

So, I am appealing to you today – If you have not given your Life to Jesus Christ; do so.

I am appealing also to those of you who have given your Life to Jesus Christ; keep on Memorising the Word of God.

His Promises are yea and amen – The more you Memorise the Word of God, the more Victorious you will be in the battles of Life.

So, those of you who will like to give your Life to Jesus Christ; Please bow your Head wherever you are:

Cry to Him: Ask Him to Please come into your Life, come into your Heart and just dwell there.

Ask Him to forgive your sins and Promise Him that you will serve Him for the rest of your Life.

Shall we Pray!

Talk to Him now – Ask Him to have Mercy on you, ask Him to save your Soul, ask Him to forgive all your sins and ask Him to come and dwell in you.

He made a Promise that: Christ in you, the Hope of Glory.

Let Him come in and your Future will be Glorious!

Thank You Father.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

And so my Father and my God and so once again, I just want to Thank You for Your Words.

And I want to remind You of Your Promise that whosoever will come unto You, You will no wise cast out.

As many that has decided to come to You today, Please receive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins, receive them into the Family of God.

And from now on, anytime they cry unto You; answer them by Fire.

And as Your Children will be reminding You of Your Promises today; Please fulfill them.

TOPIC: THE GREAT COMMISSION – PART 2 (MAKE DISCIPLES)

Last week I started a Series on: “THE GREAT COMMISSION” – And we looked at “GO”!

But the Great Commission is not just about Going; it is also about Making Disciples.

So in the Part 2 today, my Subtitle is: “MAKE DISCIPLES”.

We will go back to our Bible Text in Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV):

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All Authority has been given to Me in Heaven and on Earth.

19 Go therefore and make Disciples of all the Nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 Teaching them to observe all things that I have Commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the Age.” Amen.

MAKE DISCIPLES

Most times we simplify the Great Commission as Soul Winning.

That is, People giving their lives to Christ; getting Born Again; People receiving Salvation – That is part of it.

That is not where Jesus said we should end.

He said the Great Commission is about Making Disciples – Not just Winning Souls, but Making Disciples.

That should be the desire of every Christian: not just to be Born Again, but to become a Disciple of Jesus.

And it should be the desire of every Church – Not just to get People saved and Born Again; but make them become Disciples.

Making of Disciples is at the heart of the Great Commission.

And that’s what I am going to emphasize on in my Message today.

We’ve gotten used to People coming to Christ; respond to the Atar Call.

And many times we think that is the end.

We’ve noticed that it is the end of the journey for some People; because nothing happens afterwards.

The Great Commission is not just about People getting their hands lifted up but there has to be Discipleship Making.

WHO IS A DISCIPLE?

We will start by defining who a Disciple is:

A Disciple is a Person who is a Follower of Christ.

The word Disciple can be used in two (2) ways;

• We can use it in describing the Person who is a Disciple.
• We can also use it to define an activity: something that we do.

So God wants People to become Disciples.

But Discipleship is not an instant thing.

So, a Disciple is a Follower of Christ.

WHAT ABOUT DISCIPLESHIP?

It is the means of making a Person a Disciple.

What does it mean?

This is my Definition of Discipleship:

It is the Process of Learning the Teachings of Jesus; following after His Example, and living out His Life through the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Discipleship therefore, is a Process – It is a Lifetime Mission of every Christian and every Church.

Discipleship is also about turning our lives and our world around through Christ.

It is about Change, Transformation and turning our world around.

If you’ve noticed, the Ministry of Jesus Christ began with, “Repent” – He called People to repent.

That means, a radical Change of Mind that results in a radical Change of Life.

Christianity is more than Church attendance – You know that.

Christianity is more than saying a Prayer in Church.

Christianity is more than dressing nicely to come to Church.

… And I love the fact that you dress nicely to come to Church.

But Christianity is more than that! It is about Discipleship.

Everybody say: Discipleship!

And so today, I’m going to teach about how that is done – What is entailed in the Process of Discipleship?

And to learn that, we have to go back to Jesus Christ Himself.

In the same Book of Matthew, we see Him Calling His first Disciples.

And we want to look at what He told them to do; and what Discipleship should mean.

Matthew 4:18-20; And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

This is what Jesus wants from each one of us.

This is what Jesus says we should go to the Nations to announce:

“Follow Me, and I will make you fFshers of men.”

In this Passage (Matthew 4:18-20); there is a Pattern of Discipleship that I am going to talk about today.

1. LEAVING:

The first highlight is Leaving.

A Disciple is a Person who leaves!

He is like a Person going on a journey – You don’t go on a Journey by staying in the same spot.

I know that in this Modern time, we travel by being in the same Place – We call it ‘Virtual Travel.’

You know, People can be in Ghana and in other parts of the world.

They can even take pictures as if they are in New York – Just by Superimposing or putting a background of Time Square behind their Pictures, suddenly the Person takes a Picture as if they are in New York.

That is Virtual – You didn’t go anywhere; and definitely, you are not in Time Square. Alright!

The Bible says Peter left.

He didn’t leave by staying, he left by leaving.

They had to take a step.

The Christian Life is about leaving where you are. It is a Pilgrimage.

So, anytime we become Christians, we have to understand that we are going to leave something behind; and we are going to move towards something.

Leaving is based on two (2) Things: Responding to the Call of Jesus Christ – We Respond and we Leave

Just think of it this way; if I call your name and I say, “So and so Please, come!”

If I am calling, you don’t sit and say, Thank You Sir and stay where you are.

If I am calling you, you have to get up from your chair and move.

When Jesus Christ Calls us, we have to get up, we have to move.

We don’t have to be like the little child who is busy watching a nice Cartoon on the TV, Phone or iPad.

… And these days that’s a big problem for Parents.

The children are glued to the Television, or using their Game’s Pad or they have hijacked your Phone and iPad; watching all of those things they watch. And they are so glued.

These days, when the children are watching the Television or they are on their Game’s Pad, they are so glued – All their attention is on it.

When the mother calls and says, hey John! He says, Yes Mummy. “Come and eat, dinner is ready.”

What you’ll hear is, I am coming Mummy – but he is still on the iPad; he is still in front of the Television.

The mother calls again: Johnny – Yes Mummy! “Come and eat.” But he is still busy with what he is watching.

A lot of Christians are like that – God calls you, you say: Yes LORD. “Come!” You respond, “I’m coming” but we never move.

Many respond to their names, but they don’t respond to the Assignment.

When Jesus says come! He doesn’t want you to say, “Yes LORD, I’m coming.” Meanwhile you are deeply engrossed in doing something.

Can you imagine Peter and Andrew: Jesus says, Come and follow me. And they say, Yes LORD – and they still go fishing.

But that is what we are doing; we respond to the name, but we don’t respond to the Movement.

And there are lots of Christians who have responded by name to the Lord; but there is no shift of Location.

We have to respond to the Call.

But that responding is not just answering to a name – it is Moving.

2. TURNING AWAY:

It is also about turning away from the world.

Peter and Andrew turned away from the world they were familiar with.

We cannot love the world and Christ at the same time; because there has to be a turning away.

I have said it many times that Africa has become the Center of Christianity in the world.

Misologists say that Africa is the center of Christianity now in the world.

DMC NOTES: A Misologist is one who hates or dislikes reasoning or argument.

The largest number of People are becoming Christians in Africa.

The largest Churches are being built in Africa.

But the Question we have to ask is: Are we leaving anything? Or we are just responding to “Christian” by name but there is no departure from anything?

Because if we are going to be Disciples of Jesus; we don’t just have to say Yes LORD, give me Children, money, Blessing, etc. We must Leave, Move and turn away from the World.

In conclusion, Discipleship is the main task of the Great Commission – Be committed to Making Disciples from today.

OPENING PRAYER

Ancient of Days, we Worship You; the Unchangeable Changer, we bow before You.

The Lion of the Tribe of Judah; the I AM THAT I AM; Oh! The Glorious One, we Worship You

Please, accept our Thanks, in Jesus’ Name.

Thank You for what You did on Thursday; Thank You for what You did yesterday (Friday); Thank You for what You are about to do now (Saturday) and Thank You for what You will do tomorrow (Sunday).

Please, accept our Worship, in Jesus’ Name.

This Evening, in a very Special Way, come and Touch us.

Lay Your Mighty Hands rest on us and Bless us.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

And God Himself is going to give you a Pleasant Surprise – Amen.

I think we should give the Lord a Big round of applause for the Choir – The Choir here is very, very Good.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah.

Psalm 23:5;Thou Preparest a table before me in the Presence of mine Enemies: thou anointest my head with Oil; my cup runneth over.

The Joy of Somebody is about to Overflow – Amen.

When we talk about Food, many of us think that God takes the idea of food lightly; but He doesn’t – He created everything to exist by eating regularly.

You would discovered that almost every Living Things spend most of their Life looking for what to eat.

If you consider the Lion, for example; it does not kill except when it is hungry.

So if a Lion had just eaten and you are passing by, it will just ignore you – It does not kill for fun.

You say, how come when I see a Lion I get afraid? It’s because you don’t know whether it has just eaten, or it is waiting for what to eat.

Food is very important in God’s consideration towards Man.

As a matter of fact, the Original sin came as a result of food.

In Genesis 3:1-6, when the devil said to the woman; go ahead, eat!

The Bible says in Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was Pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Food has been very, very important in the history of man.

When you read Proverbs 30:7-9; Solomon, the Wisest Man (Part from the Lord Jesus Christ) said: God Please do something, make sure You give me food at the appropriate time, so that I don’t steal and spoil Your Name.

… That’s one of his Prayers.

In Proverbs 6:30; you find something very interesting – It says, Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his Soul when he is hungry.

… That’s how important food is.

So you understand what Esau said in Genesis 25:29-34 – When he came home hungry and his brother had just Prepared food; he said, give me food, I’m dying.

The brother (Jacob) said well, “you want food? Sell me your Birthright.”

He said, you are talking of Birthright – “Of what use is Birthright to a Dead Man?”

That’s what he said – I’m dying, you are talking of Birthright. If I’m dead what would be the use of Birthright to me?

I know many of you have condemned Esau; but when you read the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:6-13, the Lord Jesus was the One teaching them how to Pray – “After this manner therefore Pray ye: Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.Thy kingdom come. Thy Will be done in Earth, as it is in Heaven.”

… What was the next thing He said?

“Give us this day our Daily Bread.”

Before asking God to forgive, He said, “God Please, feed us” – It’s amazing!

The full meaning of that is: If somebody is hungry, don’t talk to him about Salvation.

The African Elders have a saying – They say: “when hunger enters a man, nothing will enter his ears”.

So food is very, very important.

The Bible tells that when we get to Heaven and you begin to tell God all you suffered on Earth, and how you Overcame.

After you’ve said everything, God will say, you are Welcome – “Come and Eat”.

You say, it’s not in the Bible – Revelation 2:7 says: To him that Overcometh, will I give to eat of the tree of Life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.

When you say Lord, if You know what I suffered for you on Earth – They persecuted me; God would say, but you survived? Yes! “Come and Eat.”

Revelation 2:17 says; To him that Overcometh, will I give to eat of the Hidden Manna.

That’s why we are having Holy Communion tonight!

You see, in 1 Kings 19:4-8, when Elijah was so down that he wanted to die, and he asked God to kill him – What did God do? He fed him. And He fed him twice, saying: the Journey is still far.

We have had a Wonderful time in Liberia these Past few days; but the journey is still far – So we’ve come to eat so as to have Strength for the rest of the Journey.

A time is coming (very soon) that if we say there’s a Crusade that we want to do, there will be no Stadium large enough to contain us – Amen.

But the journey is still Far!

So when you come to the Table tonight:

I. It’s so that you can receive Strength for the rest of the Journey.

II. So that at the end of the day, you will end up an Overcomer – Amen!

And then, from that our Bible Text (Psalm 23:5); David said: Thou Preparest a table before me in the Presence of mine Enemies:

But he didn’t stop there. He said: “Thou anointest my head with Oil.”

That’s the reason for the Anointing Service that is going to follow, tonight:

When you have eaten and you have received Strength for the rest of the Journey; there will be a need for the Anointing.

Why?

Because there are two (2) ways of getting Fire.

1. You need the Fire Power of God:

To deal with all the Forces of Darkness that may want to try to raise their heads after this Programme.

You are True children of the Living God (I believe), so you have the Authority that is in the Name of Jesus Christ, to confront Demons.

2. Authority is something, Power is something else:

The Policeman has the Authority to arrest any Criminals – He has the Authority of the Government.

If he sees somebody breaking into a Store, he can say, “Hey! I command you, stop! In the name of the Government, I arrest you.”

Buy if the Policeman has no gun and the Robbers have AK-47; we know who will run (Laughter)!

We want you after today, to have the Fire Power, because there is work for you to do.

The devil is not unaware of what has just happened – You may not realised it.

If the devil can have his way, what happened yesterday (DMC NOTES: Referring to the Day 2 Light Up Program on Friday – You can get to read the Full Text Only on the Label of DMC); would not have happened.

But there is nothing he can do about that! The Light of God has Shone – Amen.

And now you need the Fire Power to enforce the Authority that God has given you.

HOW DO YOU GET FIRE?

There are two (2) Basic Ways of getting Fire:

When we go to the farm in those days, before the invention of match sticks; when you are leaving home you take fire with you.

That is, you take one wood that is burning alongside, and you keep waving it so that the fire will still be there when you get to the farm.

Then when you get to the farm, you gather some wood together, put the one with fire inside, and the rest would catch fire.

But there is another way of getting Fire:

If for one reason or the other, you left home without taking a wood with fire; or you are beaten by rain on the way to the farm and the fire goes out and you need fire to cook in the farm.

By the way, how many of you are Farmer’s children? So you understand what I’m talking about?

The rest of you who don’t know what I am talking about, you don’t know what you’ve missed!

Farmer’s children are the best children – They eat everything fresh; right from the farm.

Farmer’s children don’t eat frozen food, they eat it fresh.

So you arrived at the farm, there is no fire – What you would do in those days is that, you would climb the tallest tree in the farm.

And while on top, you look round the surroundings, sooner or later you will see smoke coming up from a distance.

You know, wherever there is smoke, there must be fire.

So you would climb down from the tree, and begin to go in the direction of the smoke.

And sure enough, by the time you arrive there, you will find somebody in the hut with fire.

So you borrow one stick of fire from him or her, to come and light your own fire.

1. There are Categories of people who got their own Fire Directly from God.

… A Good Example is MOSES.

Moses got his Fire directly from God.

In Exodus 3:1-12 – You remember the story.

He suddenly saw a bush burning, and the bush was not consumed.

Then he discovered that, this is God speaking.

Finally God said, wherever you go I will go with you.

So Moses got his Fire directly from the Source (God).

2. But according to Deuteronomy 34:9, Joshua got his Fire from Moses.

The Bible says, And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the Spirit of Wisdom. Why? For Moses had laid his hands upon him:

Moses got his Fire directly from God; Joshua got his Fire from Moses.

Elijah got his Fire directly from God.

When he was about to leave – in 2 Kings 2:9-15, and he asked Elisha, “what do you want?” That one said, I want a Double Portion of your Spirit – You know the rest of the Story.

By the end of the day, other Sons of the Prophet said, “the Spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha.”

That’s the Purpose of the Anointing.

There are some Men of God here, they’ve received their own Anointing.

Well, let me put it this way: I got my own Anointing through somebody laying hands on me.

I’ve laid hands on some of these People here; now they want to pass the Fire unto you.

So we will do two (2) things together: before we close today:

1. The Holy Communion Service – We will eat to receive Strength for the rest of the Journey.
2. And then the Anointing Service – To catch Fire.

You know what? As the Lord God of Israel lives; who has called me, and has sent me to Liberia at this time; each time I hear concerning you from now on, it’s going to be Wonderful Testimonies – Amen.

Paul said to Timothy in the Book of 2 Timothy 1:6, Wherefore I put thee in Remembrance that thou stir up the Gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

Something can be deposited in you when somebody who has a higher Anointing lays his hand on you.

Before we come to the Table tonight; because the Holy Communion is not an Ordinary Meal.

No! Some People think it’s a joke but it’s not a joke at all.

In the Bible reading of tonight (DMC NOTES: 1 Corinthians 11: 23-34), it is so Powerful that if you eat it Unworthily, it can kill. But if you take it Worthily, it can do a lot of Good Things.

ALTAR CALL

Just in case there’s anyone here, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC, and you know you are not sure of your Salvation.

I don’t think there could be anyone, after yesterday’s Night; but just in case you are not sure of your Salvation; before we come to the Table of the Lord; Please, come forward and settle the issue of your Salvation.

I am going to count from one (1) to four (4) – If you know you are not sure of your Salvation, before I say four (4), make sure you are already Standing before the Altar, so that we can Pray for your Salvation.

I’m counting now …

Okay! Talk to God now – Say: Lord, Please, have Mercy on me. Save my Soul, forgive all my sins and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

Go ahead, talk to God.

And the rest of us, Please let’s Stretch our hands towards these our New Brothers and Sisters, and intercede for them.

Pray that the One who saved your Soul will save their own Souls also.

Pray that God would give them Genuine Salvation tonight.

That from now on, they will become true Children of God.

So that they can be Partakers of the Holy Communion.

Thank You Father. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You for Your Word.

Thank You for all these Your Children who have come forward to Surrender their lives to You Genuinely today.

Father Please receive them, in Jesus’ Name.

Have Mercy on them; forgive all their sins,et Your Blood wash them Clean, save their Souls O Lord; and receive them into the Family of God.

Please, write their names in the Book of Life and I Pray that for the rest of their lives, they will serve You.

And Please Lord, anytime they cry unto You, answer them by Fire.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah.

Congratulations to those of you who have just Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ Genuinely.

I Promise you that by the Special Grace of God, I’ll be Praying for you.

So I’ll need your names, your Address and your Prayer Requests.

God Bless You!

Let’s clap for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Are you tired of clapping for Jesus? No!

Thank You Father.

ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOLY COMMUNION

The Pastors will serve you the Bread.

As soon as I give you go ahead, you can eat it.

And Pray that God would give you Strength for the rest of the Journey ahead.

When they give you the Wine, you hold unto it till we have all been served, so that we will drink it together as one.

Thank You Father.

The Lord Jesus Christ; the very Night in which He was betrayed took the Bread and when He has given Thanks, He broke it saying: Take, Eat; this is my Body broken for you; do this in Remembrance of Me.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!

As soon as they give you the Bread, eat it and begin to Pray – That the Almighty God would give you Strength for the rest of the Journey.

Thank You Father. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Shall we Please Stand!

When you drink the Wine tonight, you are going to ask God for Revival.

There cannot be Revival in a Nation except there’s Revival in you – It’s what you have that you can give.

So as you drink the Wine tonight, you are going to cry to God: Please, Revive me.

After the same manner also; He took the Cup when He has sup, saying: This Cup is the New Testament in my Blood, Please do ye as oft as you drink it in Remembrance of Me.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!

Go ahead and ask God to Revive you.

Thank You Father. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

So shall it be, in Jesus’ Mighty Name – Amen.

Let’s be seated! And remain in an attitude of Worship; as we go to the Second Part of the Program:

THE IMPARTATION/ANOINTING SERVICE SESSION

We have already Blessed the Oil.

The Pastors will stand infront here, and you would come in an orderly fashion to be Anointed.

As soon as you have been Anointed, go back in an orderly fashion to your seat.

And continue to cry unto the Almighty God, to set you on Fire for Himself.

Thank You Lord.

PRAYER AFTER ANOINTING SERVICE

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You.

We give You all Glory, all Honour for what You’ve done here tonight.

Please, accept our Thanks, in Jesus’ Name.

Empower us O Lord:

No matter how long the Journey, keep us Strong, let us finish well and let us finish Strong.

Revive us O Lord; and let us become Agents of Your Revival.

Father, set us on Fire; and help us to keep burning for You.

My Lord and my Saviour, I Pray that this week will be a week we will never forget.

Thank You Almighty God.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah.

THANKSGIVING

Now, as it’s our custom, after the Holy Communion Service we always want to say Thank You to the Almighty God for giving us an opportunity to dine with Him at His Table.

So we would take our Offering, lift it up to the Almighty God.

And you are going to Pray and say: Father; from now on, Prosper me so Mightily that I will always have more than this to give.

God ahead, talk to the Almighty God.

Thank You Almighty God. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

So shall it be, in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

Now you are going to give your Offering dancing and rejoicing.

After dropping your Offering (Online) you are going to Pray a Prayer for yourself.

Now that the Anointing is still fresh on your head, you are going to ask the Almighty God that when He is Blessing everybody; your own would be Exceptional.

So dance, give your Offering. And then Pray that Prayer.

… And listen to whatever Announcement that they need to give you.

God Bless You – Amen.

OPENING PRAYER

Ancient of Days, we give You all the Glory; the One who has no Beginning and who has no Ending, we Worship You.

Thank You for choosing us even before the Foundation of the world – We Worship You.

And we can never Thank You enough for the Salvation of our Souls and Thank You because we received Mercy from You.

Father, Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Nane.

Today again as we come to Study at Your feet, we Pray that You will speak to us.

And as Your Word is coming forth, let it bring Healings with it; so that at the end of it all; all of us will have even Greater cause to Praise You.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Well, shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: I Thank God for your Life and I Thank God for the Salvation of your Soul.

And then, you may Please be seated.

We move on to Part 51 of our Series on: “For Whom The Heavens Open”.

You know that we have been Studying Joshua as an Example – And we have been on it now for more than a Year (DMC NOTES: You can always visit our User Friendly Website: www.discoverymediacrew.com to access all the Previous 50 Series done so far on this Topic and infact all the Previous Weekly Sunday Online Series since its commencement in Year 2020 as well as all Programs of RCCG and other Ministries for your Reading and Spiritual Growth sake)

And we read a Passage in the Last Series (Part 50) – And we are going to read it again today.

Joshua 14:6-14:

6. Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the Man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea.
7. Forty years old was I when Moses the Servant of the LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the Land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart.
8. Nevertheless my Brethren that went up with me made the heart of the People melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.
9. And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the Land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.
10. And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.
11. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my Strength was then, even so is my Strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
12. Now therefore give me this Mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the Cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.
13. And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an Inheritance.
14. Hebron therefore became the Inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.

In the Last Series – Part 50,, we spoke about:

☆ Connected Destinies.

And we said that the Destiny of Caleb was connected to that of Joshua.

☆ And we spoke about Positively Connected Destinies and Negatively Connected Destinies.

And I remembered that I Prayed for those of you – That because your Destiny is connected to mine Positively; as I grow then you will grow too.

I also Prayed that: If there is anyone whose Destiny is Negatively Connected to yours; who may in one way or the other trying to destroy your Destiny; that his situation will be like a moth trying to put out the flame of fire – The Consuming Fire will take care of the situation (Amen).

We have a lot of Lessons to learn from Caleb but we need to quickly move on because we don’t want to spend more than 4 Series on Caleb.

Caleb made a Statement – He said: When Moses sent me out, I was 40 years Old but now, I am 85 years Old.

And he said that: As Strong as I was then, so I am now – Both for war, to go in and to go out.

… That’s a serious Statement!

So, we can learn a “Big Lesson” from Caleb that: “OLD SOLDIERS NEVER DIE”.

You say: How does that concerns me?

Oh, you are a Soldier of Christ – The Bible says that you are Called to be a Soldier.

☆ The Lord that you are following is not a Civilian – He is called “The Lord of Host”.

☆ The God that you are following is called “The Man of War”.

… And so, you are a Soldier!

And that brings us to one Major Statement: “Age is no Barrier to a True Christian”.

You cannot give Old Age as an excuse for not serving God Wholeheartedly, Powerfully and Energy Energically.

1. How Old are you in the Hand of the One who according to Micah 5:2 – The One who is called “The Ancient of Days”?

… That’s your God!

2. How Old are you in the Hand of the One who is called “The Alpha and Omega”? – Revelation 1:8.
3. How Old are you in the Hand of the One who has been before the Mountains were brought forth?

Are you as Old as the Mountains?

Incidentally, because He existed before the Mountains, He knows the Foundation of every Mountains.

And so, there is no Mountain(s) in your Life that He doesn’t know the Foundation thereof.

There is no Problem that you are facing that occurred when God wasn’t around.

That is why the Bible says in Mark 11: 22-24 – If you have Faith in God, you can move any Mountain.

Because your God knows the Foundation of the Mountain, He can uproot it from the very Foundation.

4. How Old are you before the One who knows the End from the Beginning?

In Acts 15:18; the Bible says: Known unto God are all His works from the Foundation of the Earth.

Are you going through any Problem now? Hey, Congratulations as you are going to have a Testimony soon – Amen!

Don’t ever listen to anyone who tries to threaten your Future – Your Future is not in the hands of any Man!

The One who controls your Future is the Omega!

Unless you can find someone who says that his name is Omega – And you won’t find.

You have never seen any Man so audacious as to name his child “Omega” in the History of the world – And you won’t find one.

If you find one, then you know that the Fellow must be crazy.

There is only One Person whose Name is “Omega” – And He controls your Future!

So, it doesn’t matter what is happening, He said in Isaiah 3:10 – Say ye to the Righteous that it shall be well with him.

On the Foundation of that Scriptures alone, I decree to all of you listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC – Your Destiny will be alright (Amen).

So, stop Worrying!

Colossians 1:27 says clearly: “Christ in you, the Hope of Glory”.

The other day, I was explaining to my children in the Morning Devotion; God said two times in Joel 2: 25-27 – He said that my People shall never be ashamed.

Don’t worry about those who might be speaking Blaspheming and trying to destroy you!

Hey, leave them alone – God said that: “My People shall never be ashamed”.

We also learnt from Caleb that God can make 85 years look like 40 years.

He said that I was 40 years Old when he sent me out, and now 85 years Old – I am still as Strong then as I am now.

Stop believing the People who said that the Problem you are having is because you are growing Old!

If you agree with them, then you are growing Old!

Rather, agree with God!

Psalms 103: 1-5 tells us that He can renew your Age like that of the Eagles’.

It was because you swallowed the lie that the Problems you are having is because of Old Age; that is why the Problem remained!

How Old are you?

The Word of God says clearly in Deuteronomy 33:25 – He said that as your days, so shall your Strength be.

If that Statement is true – Then, the Older you get, the Stronger you should be!

I was talking to some of my children not too long ago; when they began to say that Daddy is 82 years Old – They are making “82” sounds like “820”.

Who told you that I am Old?

I’m getting Younger by the day – Whether you like it or not, it doesn’t matter.

Deuteronomy 34:7 says that at the Age of 120 years, Moses was still as Vigorious as ever.

The God of Moses is also my God and your God too.

He says in Isaiah 40:31 – It says that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their Strength.

Meaning that: They shall be made Fresh.

Not only can God make 85 years looks like 40 years; He said in His Words that with Long Life will I satisfy you – Psalms 91:16.

So, don’t agree with those that said that you are about to die! You are not dying until you are satisfied and then you can go.

In Philippians 1: 23-25; the Bible made it clear that you can even discuss with God your Departure!

Paul said that I have to choose between two things – Do I go now or do I stay?

And all those who thinks that your being around is hindering them, they are not Wise because if you are serving God, the longer you live, the better for those who are coming behind.

I have always said to my children – Where I stopped, is where you will start.

… And I still have a long way to go!

And by the Special Grace and Mercy of God, at my Age; there are doors that will open to me that can’t open to any Young Man.

And yet these doors must be opened so that the Younger ones can enter in.

That is why I kept on telling the Younger Ones – Thank God for what God is doing through you but never forget that you are climbing on the shoulders of some People.

And until you get to a certain Height where the Elders will say, you will no longer be afraid; you better Pray that the shoulders you are Standing on will remain Strong!

Thank God for the Youths – I love them as they are full of Strength, Vigour and all manners of “Beautiful Innovations”.

But like I have always told those of them who are close to me – Those of us who are Old, you think that we are Outdated and Fixed.

It is a Great Thing to be Fixed – Because in the Olden Days, when there wasn’t Good Compass; when you travel by Ocean and you will go far away from home, there is a Group of Stars called “Northern Stars” – You only see them at Night.

When everything is dark, the Northern Stars will be out there – It is always in the direction of the North.

So, when you don’t know where to turn; you look at the Northern Stars and you know that is the North.

And then you can check – Whether you came from the East or South East; and from the Northern Stars, you will be able to find your way home.

DMC NOTES: The North Star isn’t the “Brightest Star” in the Sky, but it’s usually not hard to spot, even from the City. If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, it can help you orient yourself and find your way, as it’s located in the direction of true North (or Geographic North), as opposed to Magnetic North.

The Message of today is Specially for the Young ones – And the Young ones are those of you Younger than 120 years Old.

Then I gave the Young ones the illustration:

That once upon a time, when you are wearing your face cap, you will wear it with the Sharp end forward.

After some times, they said that it should be the sharp end facing backward – And so, everybody began to wear face cap backwards.

After some times, they said: No, it should be towards the right and after some times they said that it should be towards the left.

And after some times, you don’t even know which direction to turn.

Go back to those of us who never stopped wearing our own face cap forward!

Thank God for the Elders – When you don’t know where to turn again; check where the Elders are facing!

God Bless the Youths – I hope they get that Message!

And He says that you can even discuss your Departure with Him – He will inform you before you leave.

2 Peter 1:14 – If you are a True Child of God, God will discuss with you before you go.

Peter said that the Lord told me that I will soon be leaving.

Now, if He can discuss with you the Time of your Departure, He does that so that you can have an opportunity to Negotiate.

Isaiah 38: 1-8; He told Hezekiah: Put your house in order, you are about to go.

Hezekiah said that I don’t want to go – God, You know that I am serving You and I am not satisfied yet.

So, God said that it is me who said that you are going; I will give you another 15 years.

… It is there in the Bible!

Some People don’t like it when I said to them that your Days are Numbered!

All our Days are Numbered – Everybody: Young and Old, our Days are Numbered.

But it is within the Power of the Almighty God to give you extra 15 years!

So, those of us who are Old; stop using Old Age as an excuse for not serving God fully!

Why? Psalms 92: 12-15, He says clearly that even in Old Age, you can still be bearing Fruits.

How come then that I am not as Strong as I used to be?

Well, if you have reached that Conclusion – No Problem!

But in Job 32:7; He says clearly that as yiu grow Older, you can become Wiser.

He said: Old Age should teach Wisdom – You gain from Experience.

There are certain Experience that are not taught in Schools, and there are certain Experience that you can only gain by Living Long.

When People say that I tell a lot of Stories, I told them it is because I have Stories to tell – Because I have gone through certain things, I have gotten Personal Testimonies and some that I heard before.

And Proverbs 4:7 says: Wisdom is the Principal Thing; with all your getting get Wisdom.

And according to Ecclesiastes 9:16; Wisdom is far, far better than Strength.

Proverbs 20:9 says: Hey, the Young are Strong, the Glory of the Youth is their Strength.

But Ecclesiastes 10:10 says: Wisdom is Profitable to direct.

So, you are getting Old? Then cooperate with the Young Ones who are Strong and direct them in the Right Direction.

You know that the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 7:19 – It says: A Wise Man can be Stronger than ten Mighty Man.

So, those of you who are Elders, who are Probably envious of the Young Ones and consider them as a threat – No, you should befriend them, guide them in the Right Direction and you will end up becoming Stronger than ten Mighty Men.

So, Proverbs 3:35 says: The Wise shall inherit Glory.

Elders, be Wise and at the end of the Day, you will inherit Glory!

Proverbs 11:30 tells you: He that winneth Soul is Wise.

And you know what? Winning Soul is not a matter of Strength but a matter of Wisdom.

You can’t force anybody to be saved – It takes Wisdom to Present the Gospel.

Proverbs 13:20 says: You want to be Wise, then walk with the Wise.

Elders, Fellowship together:

☆ Let Wisdom from one Elder be transferred to another Elder.

☆. Collect Wisdom like you are collecting Treasures,

Let me Close by reminding you of what Jesus Christ said in Matthew 7: 24-27 – He said that if You really want to know a Wise Person; a Wise Person is the one who hears my Words and will do them.

He said that a Fool is the one who hears my Word and will not do it.

So even if you are Young, you can be Wise by doing the Word of God and not by listening to Theories.

As Young ones, you will hear all manners of Theories – We will hear People talk to us about what the Bible saying it in Greeks and Hebrews.

That’s fine – It is beautiful to hear all manners of Preaching.

You are exposed to all manners of Preaching because you have the Internet, YouTube and all manners “Tubes”.

But the important thing is: Do the work of God – Just do what God says.

Peter said something that I have always found very interesting.

He said: Listen, I am not highly Educated and I don’t know as much as Paul – Paul has a lot of things to say, many of which even I did not understand.

He said, but one thing that I know is; it is written: “Be Holy as I am Holy”.

He said that I don’t know the rest – I don’t know all these Theologies but I know fully well that the One who called me said: “Be Holy as I am Holy”.

And I am saying the same thing to you – Young and Old; be Holy for the One who called you is Holy. Because without Holiness, no Man shall see God.

… Just be Holy – That’s enough and you will make it to Heaven!

ALTAR CALL

So, those of you who has not given your Life to Jesus Christ, unless you get your sin washed away by the Blood of the Lamb, you won’t see God.

It doesn’t matter all the Theological Gymnastics that you are exposed to, without Holiness, you won’t see God.

And so, if you want to see God on the Last Day; why don’t you cry to God today and say: Please, save my Soul, and wash away my sins.

Shall we Pray as you bow your heads,

Call on Him and say: Please have Mercy on me – Just let Your Blood wash away every sins and I will serve You for the rest of my Life in Total Obedience.

Thank You Father!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You once again for Your Words and I want to Thank You for all those who has heard these Words and they have made up their Minds that they want a Life of Holiness.

I am asking Lord God Almighty that today, Your Blood will wash away their sins, You will save their Souls and give them the Grace from now on, to obey you in every situation so that they will be able to live Holy for You and see You on the Last Day.

And Please Lord, as You wash away their sins; let there be no more Hindrances to their Progress.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Now I will rejoice with those of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ – Please, contact me as soon as Possible.

Go to the nearest Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to you and tell the Pastor that you have just given your Life to Jesus Christ and he will tell you what to do next.
