BIBLE TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 32: 9-14
OPENING PRAYER
Father, Thank You for the Privilege to share Your Words with Your Precious People around the world at this time.
My Prayer is that the Event will mark a Turning Point in the lives of all.
Thank You Jesus – Amen!
It is my Privilege today to be asked to share on this Great Platform with the Theme: IT’S TIME TO FLY.
I don’t take this opportunity lightly.
I want to Thank God for the Grace made available to me to be Part of this Great Convention.
Drawing from the Theme; I will be Preaching on: Getting on Board Your Flight Above The Shadow.
I’m taking my Bible Text from: Dueteronomy 32: 9-14:
9 For the LORD’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
11 As an Eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
13 He made him ride on the High Places of the Earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.
This Scriptures Paints the Picture of every child of God as a “Spiritual Eagle” meant for the Sky.
Every child of God is Redeemed as “Spiritual Eagle”; every child of God is a Seed of Abraham.
… And the Bible says: Jacob is the lot of His Inheritance.
And Jacob means Israel!
No matter where we were found; Redemption entitles us to a Flight into the High Place of Life!
Every child of God is Redeemed as “Spiritual Eagle” after the Order of Jesus Christ.

Moses was sent as God’s Eagle to bear God’s People out of Egypt into their Promise Land.
In Exodus 19: 4-5; the Scriptures Paints the Picture of God bearing His People out of the land of Egypt on His Wings – And He did that through Moses.
And Moses Exclaimed! – These People are too much for me? I can’t bear them alone!
The same Moses said that a Prophet shall God sent unto you like me and ye shall hear all he says to you – Deuteronomy 8:15.
Deuteronomy 8:15 says: Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint.
Now, Jesus Christ is that Prophet – And the Father sent Jesus as He sent us.
… So, we are “Spiritual Eagle” meant for the Sky.
Therefore to soar as an Eagle is not an “Ambition” but our “Heritage”.
No wonder at Redemption; we are seated with Jesus Christ in Heavenly Places far above.
Redemption enables us to operate from the Realm of “Far Above” – Getting On Board your Flight Above the Shadow far Above!
Ephesians 2: 5-6 says:
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 1: 20-21 says:
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the Heavenly Places,
21 Far above all Principality, and Power, and Might, and Dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.
God once said to me when looking at the Word from Deuteronomy 28:1:
“And it shall come to Pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the Voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on High Above all Nations of the Earth:”
… And then the Voice of the Lord sounded behind the Word – My son, there is a Place for you on Top if you are interested.
I said: Yes Lord, I’m interested.
He said: Then whatever I say to you to do; do it!
This was the Voice of the Lord that came expressly to me from Deuteronomy 28:1 – Whatever I tell you to do, do it!
We all know that there is No Promise of the Scriptures without Set of Conditions to meet before they were delivered.
My Covenant will I not break; not alter those things that have gone forth from my lips – Psalms 89:34.
You hear the People says that: Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
Yet, everyone wants to wear the crown.
For example: No one hates to be Healthy, No one hates to Prosper, No one hates to be “Quite Successful” in Life, No one hates a “Most Fulfilling” Marital Life, No one hates to be Accomplished in Life.
The trouble we have had with a number of us is that we are not willing to start from where we are!
God said to Abraham: Lift Up your eyes from the Place where you are and look Northwards, Southwards, Eastwards and Westwards – For all the lands thou seeth on to you will I give.
Starting from where we are is the only “Safe Way” to get On Board and Fly Above the Shadow!
You watch the Airplanes at the Airport – They have to generate enough Power from where they are; get on the Run Way, overcome Friction, conquer Gravity and then take off in the Air.
We have to start from where we are – No Aircraft starts from the Sky; they started from the ground.
No one climbs the Stairs from the Top; you start from the Ground Floor.
Let us look at some Vital Instructions that empowers us for our Flight Above the Shadow.
If you check that Bible Text that we read; the Lord alone did lead them and there was no “Strange god” with him – Verse 12.
Verse 10 says: He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the Apple of His Eyes.
… And by so doing, made him to ride on the High Place of the Earth.
So, it takes instructions to Fly Above the Shadow. Or “Fly Schools” around the world have Instructors and not Professors!
Our opinions are not respected in Flying – You just follow the Instructions.
Let us look at some three (3) Vital Instructions that entities us to take this Flight Above the Shadow:
- Faith is a Necessity for anyone to make this Flight.
Through Faith, Abraham went on beyond the Sky.
The Word says: Christ has Redeemed us from the curse of the Law by being made a curse for us.
Galatians 3: 13-14:
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through Faith.
I. Abraham, by following God with Faith went up beyond the Sky.
II. Jesus Christ speaking in Parables says: If we
wish that our Faith to grow; we must be committed to Faith.
Remember that Abraham was not just operating by Faith; but was “Strong” in Faith.
… It takes “Strong Faith” to make this Flight.
We must build our Faith from weakness to Strength and then keep growing it from Strength to Strength.
In Romans 1:17; the Word says: From Faith to Faith.
Romans 1:17: For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from Faith to Faith: as it is written, The Just shall live by Faith.
… So, we should keep building our Faith.
Faith is a “Spiritual Virtue” with an “Unlimited Capacity” for Growth.
The Stronger our Faith; the more reality our Flight beyond the Sky.
In Romans 10:17; it says: So then Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
The Second (2nd) Hearing is for Understanding.
… Faith comes by Hearing and Understanding the Word of God.
And the Understanding – Not by Preaching but by Quoting the Word of God.
And so as soon as Understanding opens up – He said your being in Spiritual Understanding is key to growing our Faith.
Just as you don’t wait for your muscles to develop; your understanding take the Process of developing your muscles.
2 Thessalonians 1:3 says: We are bound to thank God always for you, Brethren, as it is meet, because that your Faith groweth exceedingly, and the Charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.
Through Faith, they went beyond the Sky – They loved righteousness, they stopped lions, they quench the furnace of fire.
It takes “Strong Faith” to experience the reality of your Flight Above the Shadow and that happens by taking responsibilities.
- The Demand for Dedication – Dedication to God’s things and of His Kingdom on Earth.
In the Platform for rising of Giants – For example:
I. Joseph – Sold into Slavery but never got separated from God.
… How can I do this wicked things and sin against God?
He stayed dedicated to God but feared God.
That was the Testimony in Genesis 42:18.
And we saw what became of him – Just one Prescription and they handed over the Nation to him.
One insight from Heaven – And you remember that the secret of the Lord is with those that feared Him and He will show them His Covenant.
So, Joseph through dedication to God also went up above the Sky.
II. We have the example of Daniel Proposing in his heart not to defy himself with the Portion of the King’s food. Inspite of the threat of death; he maintained his connection to God, Prayed three (3) times as it were in Daniel 6: 5-28.
III. We have the Parable of Jesus in Mark 4: 30-32 – The Parable of the Mustard Seed, which happened to be the smallest Seed.
But when it is sown; it grows up and Produce great branches and the birds makes Nest on it.
No one can tell how much his Life is worth in Christ until he is genuinely dedicated to God!
Dedication guarantees our Flight beyond the Sky!
IV. We saw the Testimony of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – They rather die than bow to the devil.
They were “Totally Sold Out” to God.
And we saw what God made out of them?
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – Servants of the Most High God, come forth out of the fire and they came out if thar fire as in Daniel 3: 17-30 – Unscratched, there was no smell of fire on them.
They were Up Above the Shadow through their dedication to God.
So, the “True Believer” when dedicated to God can become a “Great Oak”.
Jesus said: The time to Glorify the “Son of Man” has come – John 12: 23-26.
But except a corn of wheat falls to the ground; it abideth alone. But if it dies; it will bring forth much fruit.
If any man serve me; let him follow this Principle.
That is where I am; that is where my son will be also.
If any man serve me, like that, same with my Father Honour.
We need to recover our dedication to God and to the interest of His Kingdom.
We have other Testimonies like the Testimony of Moses, Nehemiah and Paul – These are High Illustrative in this regards.
- The Demand of remaining in Love with God.
A Young Man ran to Jesus Christ, asking – Which is the Greatest Commandment of the Law? – Matthew 22: 36-40.
And Jesus Christ said to him: Thou shall love the Lord with all thine heart, with all thine Soul and with all thine Mind – This is the First and the Great Commandment.
The Second (2nd) is like unto it – Thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself.
For on these two (2) Commandments hang or operate or function all the Laws and the Prophet.
The Demand of staying in Love – The First and The Great Commandment of the Scriptures; is to love God with all our hearts, with all our Souls and all our heart.
I. We have the examples of Men like David – A Man after God’s own heart.
1 Samuel 13:14 – God found him in a desert (they were all in the wilderness) and said: That is my King; that is the one I’m giving it to.
And we saw how he was anointed among his Brethrens.
And from that forest, he arrived in the Palace.
The King Pleaded with his father – Send David that he might be with me because he has found favour in my sight.
And that is how David left the forest for the Palace.
The next thing that we saw was a Teenager becoming a National Hero.
Well, the love of God is a “Wondrous Flight” above the Shadows.
What eyes has not seen, nor ears heard; they are the Event of a Man that truly loves God and stays in Love with God.
II. Also, we have a Man here by name Solomon – His only credentials was that Solomon loved the Lord.
He himself said: I’m a child; I don’t know how to go out of how to come in.
And see what the Love of God made out of him: He became the “Wisest King” on the Earth in his time.
All the Kings of the Earth gathered together to hear the Wisdom of Solomon on his Platform of his love for God
But it is not enough to love God; we must stay in love and keep growing our Love for God so that we don’t crash.
III. And then we have the third (3rd) example here: Paul The Apostle – A Man with an Unusual Passion for God and the Kingdom.
Woe to me if I Preach not the Gospel – He said.
For me to live is Christ and to die is Gain – Philippians 1:21.
What shall separate me from the Love of Christ Jesus? – That was Paul’s heart being given in expressions (Romans 8: 35-38).
Galatians 2:20 – I’m crucified with Christ!
… That was Paul.
You can’t lack access to Instructions with a Genuine Heart for God.
Everyone with a Genuine Heart for God gains Natural access to His Instructions.

I once heard someone said many years ago: Those who walk; walk with many; those who run; run with a few but those who Fly; Fly alone.
I added the following: We walk with “Common Sense”
We didn’t go to School to learn how to walk, no child opens his mouth when he wants to weep, no child put the Feeding Bottle in his ear – They are all Natural Common Sense Issues.
You need to learn the Techniques of running to ever be a Winner in any race.
But we fly by Instructions!
And like I mentioned earlier; this is why every “Flying School” around the world only have Instructors on their Faculty and not Professors because your views are irrelevant.
… This is the button to Press or these are the buttons to Press or you are down – Your argument is unacceptable. It takes the Instruction to Fly.
We all know that no Aircraft tolls another Aircraft in the Air – Every Aircraft has to generate adequate Manpower to overcome Friction and conquer Gravity and then it can take off in the Air.
It’s time to Fly but it is only Possible as we adhere to Scriptural Instructions as our New Lifestyle.
My Prayer is that this Convention will get every Participants on his/her Flight Above the Shadow.
You are Spiritual Eagles; you are meant for the Sky and you can’t afford to keep on operating as a duck.
It is not your Ambition to get on a Flight; it is your Heritage in Redemption.
You are a Citizen on a Hill that cannot be hidden.
He says that: If you will do what I asked you to do; I will set you on High above all the Nations of the Earth.
So, I see many, many Globally rated Giants rise from this Great Convention in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
… So, shall it be – Amen.

CLOSING PRAYER
Father in the Name of Jesus Christ; I Pray today for everyone who has listened to this Message or read same on the Label of DMC.
That you will stir them up to embrace “Scriptural Instructions” that will empower them to live a Life of Distinction and get on board their Flights above the Shadows.
May every Helper of this Convention stay with us for many Years to come.
