OPENING PRAYER
Lord of Host, we bless Your Name.
Our Saviour, our Healer, our Provider, our Deliverer, our All in All, our Beginning as well as our Ending – Father, we worship You.
Please, accept our worship in Jesus Name.
Lord God Almighty, we Pray that all Your Children who are listening to us Particularly in these Series every Sunday or reading Weekly on the Label of DMC; move us Higher still.
Very, very soon Lord God Almighty, let us be on a much more Higher Level – Victorious in every areas of our lives.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Now Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Our Bible Text remains 1 Kings 17:1
“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I Stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these Years but according to my word”.
… But according to my word! – That is the segment that we want to look at today.

The first time that I read this Passage after I gave my Life to Jesus Christ; Probably because of my Training as a Mathematician; I was always arrested by the Phrase.
… But according to my word!
So, I read the Passage again – Elijah, the Tishbite came to Ahab, told him that as the Lord God of Israel liveth, that he was closing the Heavens and that the rain won’t return, the dew won’t return until he calls for the rain again.
And I see that Elijah didn’t say to Ahab: Your Majesty, I’m going to Pray now to make sure that the rain won’t fall.
No, but he just said: There will not be rain; there will not be dew until “I, Elijah” calls for it.
As I grew in the Lord, I have discovered that Prayers are in categories:
- There is Thanksgiving.
Psalms 100:4 says: Enter His Gates with Thanksgiving in your hands.
… I mean Thanksgiving is Primary!
- And then after Thanksgiving, there is Praise.
… Enter His Courts with Praise – The same Psalms 100:4.
As you go deeper with God; Shift from Thanksgiving to Praise.
Thanksgiving, you are Thanking Him for what He has done for you; Praise according to Psalms 107:8 – Oh, that Man will Praise the Lord for His Goodness and for His Mercies.
… Not necessarily for what He has done for you now; but just for His Goodness and Mercies – That is why you should Praise Him.
- Then as you go deeper still, you move from Praise to Worship.
Like in Psalms 18: 1-2; you begin to tell Him who He is; you begin to eulogize Him.
… Oh, You are the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords; the Ancient of Days; the Unchangeable Changer.
You begin to eulogized Him – This time, you are not talking about what He has done; you are talking about who He is.
- And then you move on to Supplication.
And according to 1 Kings 8: 46-50; Supplication really is the Prayer of the sinner who is repenting and begging for repentance.
… Okay, I enter His Gates with Thanksgiving; I move Closer – Enter His Courts with Praise; now I began to eulogize Him.
I’m in His Presence now and now I fall on my face: Please Lord have Mercy on me a miserable offender.
- And then I now found favour in His face – I can move on to Intercession.
This time now; it is not me, it is someone Precious to me who is in trouble that I want to beg on his behalf.
Genesis 18: 17-33; Abraham has found favour with Him, God has Paid him a visit, he has invited God to his house, God has eaten and God has even Promised Great Things and he is escorting God on the way and God suddenly said: I think that I need to tell Abraham what I’m about to go and do in Sodom and Gomorrah.
Abraham said: Lord, I have relatives there – There is a man there who is my cousin, he is married, he has two (2) daughters. The two (2) daughters has boys that they are already Planning of marrying.
So, each of the girls now is connected the the fellow they wanted to marry and with the Parents In-law; making a total of ten (10).
… Almighty God, if you can find ten (10) People there who are Righteous; will you spare the Place because of ten (10) Righteous Ones?
Of course, he started from High Up as if God didn’t know where he was going.
And God said: If I can find ten (10) there; I will spare the City because of ten (10) – Intercession.
Have you Relatives who are in trouble?
I Pray that you will learn the Act of Intercession – Amen.
Don’t just Pray for yourself, Pray for others also (Intercede).
- And when you get Closer to God; you moved from Prayer of Intercession – As Powerful as that is; to what I will call a Prayer of Demand.
When you go to the Almighty God and say: I Demand!
You said can that be in the Bible?
Well in Isaiah 43:26; the Almighty God said: Put me in remembrance.
… Tell me some things that I have said before – Then let’s Plead together that you might be Justified.
Even when the Lord was teaching the Disciples on how to Pray in Matthew 6: 9-11 – Our Father who Art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy Name, thy Kingdom come, thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this Day, our daily bread (This is a Demand).
It is our bread and you are not going to eat it o. So, give it to us and we want it today.
We want our bread “Oven Fresh” – Not the only one that has been kept in the Freezer.
- The Highest form of Prayer is the Decree.
That is what happened here – My friend Elijah said: Ahab I decree, no rain, no dew until I changed my mind
Can you issue Decrees like that?
Isaiah 45:11; the Almighty God says: Concerning the works of My Hands, command ye Me.
… This time around; you are not demanding, you are commanding!
But He Himself said so – He opened the door for that kind of emfrontry.
Because He said in Job 22: 21-28; that if I meet certain conditions, if iniquities be not near me, Put it far away et cetera et cetera; then you will decree a thing and it shall be established unto you.
… God said so in His Words!
Decree is what I call the Senior Brother of Demand.
But one thing you need to know is that every Decree must be rooted on what God has said before.
You can’t Decree anything that is not based on what God has said before.
For example: The Decree of Elijah – No rain, No dew until I call for it is based on Deuteronomy 28: 15, 23 and 24.
Where the Almighty God said: If you won’t do what I asked you not to do; if you will disobey me; then I will make Heaven Brass and there won’t be a single drop of rain.
Ahab Plus Jezebel his wife had broken every rules of God – They deferred God openly.
It is as if they are saying: Hey God, if you are there; show Yourself.
I remembered one Young Man hiding somewhere there in Europe and saying: If the Nigerian Pastors think I’m wrong, let them ask God to kill me.
When I heard, I said: Lord God have Mercy.
I know some funny People who said: Sir, do you hear that?
I said: Yes I did.
Why don’t you ask God to kill him?
I said God didn’t send me to kill – He sent me to save Souls, to rescue those who are Perishing. He is a child and he doesn’t know what he is talking about.
… Every Decree must be based on what God has said before.
God said: If you will not do my Will; I can shut the Heavens so that rain will not fall.
I have found other examples in the Scriptures – For Example:
- In Daniel 3: 16-17 – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said to Nebuchadnezzar that the God that we served is able to deliver us from your fiery furnace.
And listen very well Your Majesty; He will deliver us.
What are they basing that on?
Isaiah 43:2; God has Promised: Hey, when you are Passing through Fire, it will not burn you.
… It’s there!
- When Elijah got to the house of the Widow of Zarepheth in 1 Kings 17: 8-16; and be said: Hey, feed me first and then there will always be food here for as long as it is necessary.
Why is he so sure?
They are in the Word of God.
Proverbs 3: 9-10 – Honour God with your First Fruit; Put God first and then suddenly you will discovered that you won’t have enough room to contain your Blessings.
- In 2 Kings 4: 1-7; the Widow ran to Elisha and said that: I have nothing left in the house – Just a Pot of Oil.
The Man of God said to the Widow: Borrow many empty Vessels and keep on Pouring in the little Oil you have and see what will happen.
How come that the Decree of Elisha come to Pass?
Because the Widow believed Him.
Because it is written in 2 Chronicles 20:20 – You believed the Prophet of God; you will Prosper.
… “True Prophet” of God oooo; not all these Counterfeits.
But as I have always told you: If you find counterfeit, it means that there must be Original. If you search well; God will you to the Original.
You won’t find a counterfeit two thousand naira (#2,000) Note because there is no Original.
And the Prophet that comes to you and said: Thus said the Lord – That your beautiful car is mine! And you know who is speaking.
The one who tells you that it doesn’t matter that you can live in sin and it is alright with God. You know who is speaking.
God is an Holy God. He is the One who has said clearly: You must be Holy for I am Holy.
But the Section that I want to focus on because of time – Because when I’m talking of Elijah at times; there is a tendency for me to get carried away because I Iove the man so much that He has influenced my Life tremendously.
It is one word in the Phrase: But according to “My Word”.
“My”; that is what I want us to look at for a few minutes.
Your future to a large extent is going to be determined by your words!
Proverbs 18:21 says: Death and Life are in the Power of the tongue.
Whether you live or die; to a very large extent will be determined by your tongue.
Why? – Numbers 14: 26-30; God says: Tell the People, as you have spoken in my ear so will I do.
Proverbs 12:13 says: The wicked is snared by the transgressions of his lips.
… What comes out of your mouth can trap you.
You can Decree your Greatness – Please take note of that; it is not an idle statement.
- You can Decree Wisdom into your Life.
Based on James 1:5 – The Almighty God said in His Words: If you lack Wisdom ask God and He will give to you liberally.
And you know that Wisdom is the Principal Thing – If you will ever want to get Higher; you need a large dose of Wisdom.
On the basis of the fact that we find in Proverbs 13:20; if you will walk with the Wise, you will be Wise.
You should make sure that you are no longer walking with the fools and then you can Decree: I am going to be Exceedingly Wise.
And you keep on saying it – Let them hear, let them look at you and say: What is wrong with you?
Tell them that: A time is coming that you will come to me and say what kind of Wisdom is this?
You know that is what People say when they ask you: How are you doing your own?
They are saying: Where do you get this Wisdom from?
- You can Decree “Long Life” for yourself based on Psalms 91: 1-end – It is a very beautiful Psalms.
I have told you before; Psalms 91 is the “Christian Insurance Policy” – He that dwelleth in the Secret Place of the Most High God shall abide under the Shadow of the Almighty et cetera et cetera.
And He Promised that with Long Life will I satisfied you.
You can Decree loud and clear: I’m not going to die Young according to Psalms 118:17.
He says: I will not die, I will live to declare the works of God.
Some People are laughing when they heard me say that don’t worry yourself celebrating my birthday for me now until I’m ninety (90) Years old – We will celebrate for a whole Month.
You think I’m joking – Unless the Lord returns before then; at the age of ninety (90), I am going to celebrate for a whole Month.
There will be a day for each fellow – A day for America, a day for Australia, a day for Pastor, a day for Choir, a day for People in the Legal Department, a day for Head of State et cetera et cetera.
At the age of ninety (90); after that celebrations, I will begin to get ready to go.
… But that I am going to die soon; that is a lie!
And that is what you should be telling others – Let them say what is wrong with you?
Tell them that that I’m decreeing my Future.
- You can Decree Abundance.
And it is based on Psalms 68:19.
The Bible says: God daily loads us with Blessings.
Afterall, Psalms 34:10 says: It is the Young Lion that Lack and suffer hunger they that seek the Lord shall not Lack any Good Thing.
If anything is Good? It is not going to Lack in your Life.
So, if there is anyone who for one reason that is Jealous of you right now; tell him: Don’t waste your time; you haven’t seen anything yet.
Say it loud and clear, say it boldly, Decree your Future!
- Decree that you are going to be Shinning Brighter and Brighter.
This is based on Matthew 5: 14-16 – Jesus Christ Himself said: You are the Light of the world; that you are a City set on a Hill, that your Light cannot be hid, that your Light will shine before Men so that they will Glorify your Father in Heaven.
Tell those who care to hear: I am going to Shine and nobody can put out my Light.
They will laugh at you but keep on saying it.
They laughed at me when I said God told me that He has Promised me a City – They laughed.
I was living in a room in Mushin (A low Earner Area in Lagos State Nigeria) and I keep telling them so that when it comes to Pass, they will know.
Some People thought that I was joking when I said that Presidents will come and worship with us.
At that time, it was one Muslim after another Muslim that was President.
I said that I know what God said – Let us build a Presidential Lodge and we built a house reluctantly.
And when no President came years after; some of the Elders held a Meeting behind my back and they said: You don’t know what this Man was saying? He is our President now, he built that Lodge for himself.
… Let’s go and tell him to move into the house.
Presidents will come!
By the Grace of God, they have started coming. But more is coming – Heads of States from all over the world, they will come.
When I told my children in London that one day, the Royalty will come and worship with us.
They laughed – The Church of Immigrants, quite a few of them at that time illegal. And now Royalty will come and worship with you?
You are a Pentecostal Church o for that matter but the Royalty of the Church of England will come and worship in your Church – A Pentecostal Church?
But when the Heir Apparent wants to celebrate his 59th Birthday.
He came of all the Churches over there – It happened!

- The Heir Apparent of England is: Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales.
- Queen Elizabeth II is the Sovereign, and her Heir Apparent is her eldest son, Charles, Prince of Wales. Next in line after him is Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, the Prince of Wales’s elder son.
- ‘Emotion was let loose on November 14, 2007 in London when Prince of Wales, Prince Charles celebrated his 59th Birthday (He was born 14th November, 1948) at the RCCG, Festival of Life Program
Decree your Future – Tell your friends that I will shine more and more!
Proverbs 4:18 says clearly that: The Path of the Righteous shall be as Shinning Light – Shinning Brighter and Brighter and Brighter.
When they tell you: How are you sure that this is going to happen?
Tell them that Daniel 12:3 says: As I keep on Winning Souls, turning Men to Righteousness; I’m going to Shine as Firmament, I’m going to Shine as the Stars.
And it’s forever o – Not a while.
Let your friends know that I’m Unstoppable.
When they say: How can you be saying all these kind of things?
But it is written – Psalms 23: 4-6 made it clear: He Prepares a Table before me in the Presence of my enemies.
He didn’t say that there won’t be enemies but they won’t stop me from eating.
Tell them God Promised me Overflowing Anointing.
… He said: I will anoint your Head until your cup runs over.
So, any yokes the enemies want to throw across my Path, anointing will destroyed it.
He Promised me Divine Security.
… He says: Surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my Life.
- Decree your Way to the Top.
… All the way to the “Very Top”.
Why? – Because it is written: Deuteronomy 28:13 made it clear: You shall be the Head and not the Tail; you shall be Above Only and not beneath.
… It is written for me!
- Tell them in any gathering of Greats, I will be the Greatest – Amen.
It is based on Daniel 6: 1-3.
The Bible made it clear that when they gathered the Governors from Provinces, the King choose three (3) Presidents to oversee all the Governors and then focused on Daniel to be the one who will lead the Presidents because there was an “Excellent Spirit” found in him.
Tell all those who cares to hear: I am going to Excel!
Decree on Daniel 2: 20-21; that since my Father controls Times and Seasons; Seasons will favour me, favour my Course, the New Normal will favour my Course, move me to a New Normal of Greatness of Success.
Afterall in Joshua 10: 12-14; the Bible says clearly: When Joshua was busy for God and the Sun was about to set; he said: Hey Sun you seems not to know the one who is at work here. Stand where you are, Moon stay.
Every Season, will favour me – Amen.
And I decree that they will favour you too – Amen.
Conclusion: Because I know that there are several other things that I know that you will want to decree.
I know in Romans 10:10; the Bible made it clear: If only you believe in your heart and say it with your mouth; then it will come to Past.
Believe in your heart – Afterall we have learnt in this Series (Part 2 Specifically): God is alive and that is the Foundation of our Faith.
And I have taught you that your Faith can grow – It can grow from Nothing (No Faith) to Little Faith, to Strong Faith, to Great Faith, to Uniquely Great Faith and then to Exceedingly Great Faith (Part 2 of the Series).
Believe in your heart and I know that you believed that Jesus Christ is alive.
Now, say it out with your mouth that your tomorrow will be alright.
And you know that according to Romans 10:9; the Bible made it clear that: Salvation comes when you believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He raised from the dead and you are willing to say it out.
… So, Salvation comes your way!
ALTAR CALL
So, if you are listening to me now or reading now on the Label of DMC and somehow you know that Jesus Christ must be alive.
Look at all that has happened since He left – A dead Man can’t achieve this much.
And then you are willing to declare it that Jesus Christ is alive by making a decision to surrender your Life to Him; you will be saved.
So, if you are listening to me all over the world or reading now on the Label of DMC and you want a Glorious Future because the Bible says: Christ in you, the Hope of Glory.
If you will surrender your Life to Him today; if you bow your head wherever you are and cry unto Him and ask Him to Please save your Soul, that you believed that He is alive, that you believed that He is the Saviour and that he should Please save your Soul, forgive your sins and give you a New Beginning – He will do so.
And I’m ready to Pray with you now even as you bow your head in Prayers.
PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God; I want to Thank You for Your Words; I want to Thank You for all those who heard these words; whose Faith has been stirred by You and who are saying: Lord have Mercy on me, forgive my sins, save my Souls – Please Lord have Mercy on them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins.
Please Lord, write their names in the Book of Life, receive them into the Family of God and give them a Brand New Beginning.
And Please my Father and my God; I am decreeing today by the Power vested on me by You; according to Your Words that I can say to the Righteous that it will be well with him.
I hereby decree concerning all Your children, all “True Children” of the Living God all over the world – I hereby decree that your tomorrow will be alright; it shall be well with you and you will go Higher and Higher.
Very soon, I will be hearing “Big Testimonies” from you as God Himself will accelerate your Promotions.
And you will not die Young, you will not die Poor, you will not die Needy. My God will Supply all your Needs.
And you will have more than sufficient and you will serve God till the End.
And in the Kingdom of God; you will not be missing.
So shall it be.
For so have I decreed it in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen.
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
Now, those of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ; Please contact me as soon as Possible and I Promised you that I will be Praying for you.
And find a branch of The Redeemed Christian Church of God near to you; visit the Pastor and he will guide you as to the Next step you should take as your Future will now become Brighter and Brighter in Jesus Name.
And for you Children of the Living God; Please spend “Quality Time” today decreeing into the Future.
Find any Promise of God that is in the Bible; claim it for yourself and begin to Pronounce it to all those who cares to hear because: Your words will take you to a Greater Heights in Jesus Name – Amen.
