TOPIC: BENEFITS OF GIVING IN THE MIDST OF A SIEGE

BIBLE TEXT: 1 KINGS 17: 7-16
Somebody that believes that the Siege is Over; only you should Stand on your feet and shout the loudest Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Before you take your seat – If Somebody believes that our father and our mother (Pastor and Pastor (Mrs) E.A Adeboye) are the Parents of this Nation, let Somebody give the Lord the loudest “Clapping Offering” for Daddy and Mummy GO!
Thank You Daddy, Thank You Mummy for this rare Privilege to share tonight briefly.
Tonight, there are by “Divine Instructions” as I begin to share in few Minutes.
There are some of us that the Lord wants us to give a very, very Special Offering – He (God) spoke to me few weeks ago and over and over confirmed His Words as Daddy GO was speaking to us in most of the Nights so far in this Holy Ghost Congress.
I Struggled with it but the Lord said to me – Obey what I have told you.
One Thousand (1,000) People tonight that will connect with the Grace of this Night and are going to give Precious Seeds of: One Million Naira (#1,000,000); and then One Hundred Thousand Naira (#100,000) and then Ten Thousand Naira (#10,000) Special Offering.
Let me read from 1 Kings 17: 7-16:
- And it came to Pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
8 And the Word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a Widow woman there to sustain thee.
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the Gate of the City, behold, the Widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I Pray thee, a little water in a Vessel, that I may drink.
11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I Pray thee, a Morsel of Bread in thine hand.
12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of Meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of Oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the Earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. (This is what the Lord demands from us tonight. Daddy Go GO has been sharing on the Ministry of Elijah over 40 Series now – Please Note that you can Exclusively get all the Series well documented Only on the Label of DMC)
16 And the barrel of Meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of Oil fail, according to the Word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
Whenever there is a crisis that causes a drastic downfall in our Economy; that is the “Best Time” we should listen to the Voice of God – What is God saying for the Hour!
We saw in the Life of this Woman that we just read about in our Bible Text (1 Kings 17: 7-16) that she responded to the Call of God through the Prophet.
There are Seven (7) Things that we can see on the benefits of Giving an Offering in the midst of Scarcity especially when you are under such a Prophetic Cloud of a Man God has raised in our Generation; that Stands in an Office of an Elijah in our time!
- We see through the Giving of this Woman an “Evident of Obedience to God”.
The Man called Martin Luther King believed and this is what he said.
He said that there are two (2) Conversions that takes Place in the Life of every Christian – He said that: The Conversion of a Soul and the Conversion of his Cheque Book.
When you say that you believed God, when you say that you Love God, when you say that you want to follow Jesus Christ; it will be known by the Level of Obedience that you have for God.
This Woman obeyed the Word of the Lord through the Prophet.
- Giving set our Priorities Straight.
Look at the way you spend your Money; look at the way where you put your Money – That tells us where our heart is!
We invest more of our time in our Money, in what is important to us – We spend on Expensive Cars, we spend on Luxury Cars, we spend on our family Members and then it tells us where our heart is.
The Bible says where the Treasures of a Man is, there his heart will be also.
When your heart is for the Kingdom of God; your Priority Number One (1) will be to spend for the Kingdom of God.
Even though that Woman has the Last Meal but when she heard the Word of God, she set her Priority Right – She serve God’s Interest in Elijah first before she attended to her own Need!
- We saw that the Giving of this Woman increased her Faith.
This was the Woman that said: All that we have is just enough for us to eat and die.
But the Man of God came over to Prophesy that: The Siege is Over, go and respond to the Instructions.
When the Woman gave to Elijah in Obedience, her Faith grew and the Word of God said that flour never ceased in her house as she connected to the Faith of the Servant of God.
Tonight, you are connecting to the Grace on the Life of our father in the Lord – Between Now and Next Year December (December 2022); you are coming here with “Unusual Testimonies” – Amen
- With the Giving of that Woman: She acknowledged that God is the Owner of all Things; she acknowledged that God is the Owner of All that I have.
What is it that you have that God is not in Control of it?
What is it that you have that was not given to you?
Why are you boasting yourself to resist Giving to God who is the Owner of what you own?
The Woman said: I don’t control it; I acknowledge God in the Life of Elijah; I’m going to surrender this and let God’s Words have its way.
… Giving makes us to acknowledge that God is the Owner of our Life!
- We saw that when the Woman gave, it led her to “Uncommon Joy” – That is Joy Overflowing!
You know – Anytime that you surrender the “Most Painful Thing” that you have and then you obey God; there is this Spring of Joy that comes in your heart.
I will not forget daddy said something about when he was living in Mushin (A Suburb Part of Lagos State Nigeria) together with his family.
Daddy has just received his Gratuity – That Money he was thinking that now let me see how I can use it to sustain the family.
DMC NOTES: A Gratuity is a sum of Money Paid to an Employee after working for a Period of time on Employment with them.
The Voice of the Lord came to daddy GO and the Lord said to him: My Son, divide the Money into three (3) Parts – Give it to this Ministry, give it to that Ministry, give it to that Ministry.
When he was doing the third one, his voice and response was going down but he obeyed God with Pain.
Look at what the Scriptures says. The Bible says that God expects us to Give Cheerfully – Not Reluctantly, not under Compulsion but with Joy because God loves a Cheerful Giver.
The Widow gave Elijah with Joy even though she was in Pain – Let me see what God is going to do.
- We saw that Giving blesses us Abundantly.
This Meal was the “Last Meal” – There was a Siege over the Nation but God sent His Prophet to Someone.
And tonight, Daddy is coming to one (1) Person in the entire world! – This is to the DMC Family Members.
And if that Person is here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; the Siege us going to be over in your Life – Amen!
The Woman believed and there was an Abundant Supply!
The Bible says that – And there was no lack; God opened the Heaven for the sake of Elijah and blessed the Woman.
In the Book of Luke 6:36; Jesus Christ said – The amount you Give will be returned back to you.
Paul said: Whoever sow sparingly, will also real Sparingly and whoever sows Generously, will also reap Generously.
God is able to bless us Abundantly so that in all things and at all times, having all that you Need; you will abound in every Good Works.
… That is why God has brought us here tonight to Give!
- Finally, Giving of that Woman make her to be involved in God’s Work.
She became compassionate and engaged in the Ministry of God’s Servant.
We saw from the Bible Text that she was compassionate and stayed with Elijah till the drought was over.
Tonight, there is a Special Burden of the Great Project in the heart of my father.
He may have not said it; but now we are taking our “Jar of Oil”; our “Cruise of Flour”; to sow the Best, the Painful one so that you can connect with the Grace of “The Elijah of Our Time”.
… So, get your Offerings ready!
Those of you that the Lord is speaking to – You are among the one thousand (1,000). And the Lord spoke to me that I should do what He asked me to do because there is Someone that He wants to Change his/her Story forever!
So, I’m obeying God first as I have written my Cheque.
With all that we are going through in the Northern Part of Nigeria; I believed God for a “New Nigeria” and I believed the Siege is Over, over Nigeria.
So, we will give God our Seed – Just Indicate Special Offering on it.

Now listen: All of you that are among the one thousand (1,000) People; kindly ensure that you connect with the Oil on Daddy GO within Seventy Two (72) Hours and give your Sacrificial Offerings. And then watch what the Lord will do in your Life!

- The Years of defeat; the Years of “Premature Death” in your family is over – Amen.
- The Lord said: Any terrible Disease(s) that has been afflicting your family; tonight that Disease(s) has been terminated – Amen.
- By the Spirit of the Lord, anywhere you go; the Lord is going to establish you – Amen; the Lord is going to enlarge your Territory – Amen.

The Destiny Helper that you need is going to show Up in your Life – Amen.
- By the Spirit of the Lord – Tonight marks the end of Frustration in your Life – Amen.
Receive these Blessings in the Name of the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Israel and the God of Enoch Adeboye.
I decree and declare: Receive your Blessings in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
