OPENING PRAYER
Father, we Thank You for who You are tonight, we bow our knees before the Father of Light by whom all families in Heaven and Earth are named.
We come before You tonight and we Thank You for Your Love and Your Mercy; we Thank You for this very moment; we Thank You that before we got here, you are waiting for us.
Thank You for the Outpouring of Your Spirit like never before, Thank You for the Gift of Your Presence here, Thank You for Your Power made available here, Thank You for all that You are Set to do tonight.
We submit to Your Will, we ask that You take absolute Change and Preeminence in the Name of Jesus.
We Thank You for what You have done in the Past, we Thank You for what You are doing right now, we Thank for what our eyes are about to see in God.
Thank You Lord God Almighty, it is to Your Name that we give all the Praise.
In Jesus Name we Pray – Amen!
Let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
I like to first of all tonight thank and appreciate God for this opportunity.
I also want to Thank my father and mother in the Lord – Daddy and Mummy GO. It is such an honour to be alive at such a time as this.
Thank You for the Path that you have walked on and Thank You for the Path that You have shown us. Thank You and we celebrate God in your Life.
And daddy, we wish you a “Happy Birthday” again. We trust God that your “Best Days” are ahead of you in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
Tonight, my Assignment is Simple – I will be speaking on “The Joy of The Lord”,
It is important to note tonight that Joy is not an Emotion that is triggered by events or circumstances. Joy is an Operation of the Holy Spirit.
Tonight, I will be highlighting six (6) Truths about Joy:
TRUTH NO 1: JOY IS A KINGDOM REALITY
How do I know this?
The Bible speaking in Romans 14: 17-19; it says –
- For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but Righteousness, and Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost.
- For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for Peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
I. The Joy of the Lord; it is Righteousness – Speaks of God’s Standard.
II. The Joy of the Lord; it is Peace – Speaks of Order.
III. The Joy of the Lord; it is Joy – Joy in the Holy Ghost.
The Bible says in Galatians 5:22 – But the Fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering,Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance; against such, there is No Law!
The Fruit of the Spirit – It shows that it is the Spirit of God that is the Administrator of Joy. It administers Joy!
And I believed that as many who are under the Sound of my Voice tonight, wherever you are seated in this Arena or joining in by the Power of Visual Participation or reading now on the Label of DMC; the Joy of the Lord will be Produced in your heart in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
TRUTH NO 2: JOY IS FOUND IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD.
The Bible says in Psalms 16:11 – Thou wilt show me the Path of Life: in thy Presence is Fullness of Joy; at thy Right Hand there are Pleasures for evermore.
God does not deal with “Small Measures”. He supplies our Needs not according to the things that we think or heard; He supplies it according to His Riches in Glory.
And so, when God speaks of Fullness that comes in His Presence, the Joy that comes in His Presence; He speaks of Full Joy – Joy All Round!
He doesn’t stop there, He says that at His Right Hand, there are Pleasures for evermore.
The Bible says that we are seated with Christ – Where He sits is where we sit as Believers.
Beloverh, if you are in Christ and you are here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; where you sit there is Pleasure there.
Where can we enjoy the the Joy of His Presence?
In the Place of Prayers – Communing with God, speaking Father to Child.
The Word of God speaking in John 1: 1-2; it says that:
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- The same was in the beginning with God.
It means that every time you go to the Place of the Word, every time you choose to stay in the Word; you open yourself up to an Encounter with God.
… Beloveth, encounters with God are Supernatural!
So, when you sit with the Word, when the Word of God comes; you are right in the middle of an Encounter.
Tonight in the Name of Jesus Christ; you will experience God in a Way you have never experienced God before in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!
As you received the Word of God tonight, as you listened to the Word of God that Proceeds from this Altar or reading now on the Label of DMC; you will have an Encounter that will Shift you, have an Encounter that will Change your Life forever in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!
Jeremiah 15:16 says – Thy Words were found, and I did eat them; and thy Word was unto me the Joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy Name, O LORD God of Hosts.
Joy comes in the Word because when you stay in the Word, your Perspectives in God is elevated – You begin to see through eyes of God, you see situations exactly how God sees it, you see the battles exactly how God sees the battles, you see the events exactly how God sees the events.
The Bible says – Thy Words were found, and I did eat them; and thy Word was unto me the Joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy Name, O LORD God of Hosts.
… He finds God’s Words – He found His Identity in God’s Words, He found His Place in God’s Words and Joy came.
Beloveth tonight, you will find your Place in God’s Words, you will find your Identity in God’s Words in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen; and your Joy will come in Jesus Christ Name – Amen
TRUTH NO 3: JOY IS A WEAPON.
You have heard tonight and several times that Joy is a Weapon.
But I like to share tonight that whatever cease your Joy, cease your Life.
And you may say: Why are we referring to Joy as a Weapon?
When something cease in Life, you don’t let it go but you deal with it.
Therefore, Joy is not just a Fruit that is Produced by the Spirit of God; Joy is a Powerful Force,
What does Joy do as a Weapon?
As I Prepared for this Ministrations, the Holy Spirit Ministered to my heart and He says: Joy distorts the Frequency of the enemies.
It means that there could be several happenings, there could be a circumstance that you are going through and you are supposed to be shaking. But when Joy begins to come out of your Being, the Frequency get distorted.
… It is a Frequency that you must used.
The Bible says that the Weapon of our warfare are not carnal – We don’t need to be understood; they just need to be effective. And Joy is an “Effective Weapon”.
Joshua 6:16; the Bible says – The seventh time around, the Priests blew the rams’ horns and Joshua told the Army, “Give the battle cry, for the Lord is handing the City over to you!
And it came to Past on Thursday, the 3rd Day of March 2022, it came to Past at the Redemption Camp; Joshua said to the People (Nicole/Moses/Titilayomi said to the People) – SHOUT!
For the Lord (Not Man) has given you the City, Industry, your Community, your Nation, the Continent of Africa, the Nations of the world.
Joshua 6:20 says that the People now shouted as you have all shouted.
Let me now tell you what happened? – The rams’ horns sounded and when the Army heard the Signal, they gave a loud battle cry. The wall collapsed and the Warriors charged straight ahead into the City and captured it.
… The Wall fell down flat.
I decree in the Name of Jesus Christ that every Walls that has stood as Opposition will bow tonight in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!
So the People went up into the City.
You are going to go up into the City – Amen. Every Divine Allocations that has your name on it, every Divine Provisions that has your name on it; tonight or as you read now on the Label of DMC and not tomorrow, you will Possess them in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!
TRUTH NO 4: JOY IS A FETCHER
I don’t know who you are – You here feeling distressed, depressed; you came here thinking that you have come to the End. Sometimes it is Good to come to your End because when you come to the End of yourself, God can start – Amen!
And He says in Isaiah 12: 2-3 –
- 2. Behold, God is my Salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my Strength and my Song; He also is become my Salvation.
- Therefore with Joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of Salvation.
Beloveth, you can sit by a Well and yet be thirsty because you did not have the “Right Tools” to get water.
And you see; the Wells of Salvation are not Shallow, they are Deep Wells. It is not the kind of Well that you scoop your hands in and take water to drink. It is a Well that you have to fetch from.
So, it means that it is a Well that when you come before the Well, you have to take a Posture – There is a Posture of fetching water from a Well and the Posture is Joy.
When God see Joy, He will cause a Blessing and a Release. Stop grumbling before God but Rejoice!
TRUTH NO 5: THE JOY OF THE LORD IS SUSTAINABLE.
How do I know this?
The Love of God sponsors Joy. John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not Perish, but have Everlasting Life.
I share with you a very short Story – A few years ago in the University towards my Final Examination; I got News from home – Distorting News; the kind of News that throws one off balance.
So I decree in the Name of Jesus Christ that everything that want to throw you off balance will be thrown off balance tonight in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!
I got the News from home – It was Distorting News and it was on a Saturday with Sunday a Service Day. And usually, I served in a Chapel in School.
As at the afternoon that I received the News and I remembered crying to God in Prayer – And I cried and cried and I slept.
By the time I woke up the Next Morning, I was still crying. But the Bible sats: Weeping may endure for a Night but Joy comes in the Morning.
I don’t know who is listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC; right now Morning has come in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!
And that Morning, as I woke up from sleep; the Holy Spirit dropped a Word in my heart, It was a Phrase in Yoruba Language but I don’t speak Yoruba Language (The Language of a Tribe in the Western Part of Nigeria).
The Phrase was: “IFE OLUWA MAYOWA”.
I cried to sleep and when I woke up, the Lord told me: “IFE OLUWA MAYOWA” – It means: “THE LOVE OF GOD BRINGS JOY”.
God spoke to me that Morning and He said: Your Joy is not determined by the thing you hear, by the events you go through, by the circumstances that happened around you – Your Joy is Sponsored by God’s Love and that Joy is Sustainable because what can separate you from the Love of God? – Nothing!
And because Nothing can separate you from the Love of God, then that Sponsor is a “Sure Sponsor”.
The Love of God is a “Sure Sponsor” in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
Beloveth, there is no “Real Joy” without Salvation!
TRUTH NO 6: JOY IS A CHOICE.
The Power of Choice has been given to every Man.
Deuteronomy 30:19 says: I call Heaven and Earth to record this day against you, that I have Set before you Life and Death, Blessing and Cursing: therefore choose Life, that both thou and thy Seed may live.
Choose Joy, don’t choose Depression, don’t choose the Limiting Thought, don’t choose the lies of the enemies over the Promises of God – Choose Joy!
When our father in the Lord tonight calls for Men and Women to receive the Love of God that brings Joy; don’t sit at your seat.
And if you are Watching or reading now on the Label of DMC; respond to that Love – Respond by receiving, respond by surrendering in Total Submission because Joy is Choice, Life is a Choice. Choose Life so that you might live, Choose Joy so that you might live.
In Conclusion Believers, the Bible says in Habakkuk 3:17 – Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the Olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls.
Regardless of what happens, regardless of what we see, regardless of the News we hear; in the midst of all of that, you will Rejoice – Amen!
… You will make a Choice to Rejoice!
Beloveth, rise up on your feet – You will make a Choice that is based on Safety in God. Your Decision will be in alignment to the Will of God.
Every time you choose Joy, you choose Life; every time you choose Joy, you Please God!
Lift up your hands to the Lord tonight and say: Father, I choose Joy. My Choice is based on the fact that you are able to save, you are my “Steady Power”, the Lord gives me Stability, I will not be shaken regardless of what is thrown at me. Let Joy erupts from my Inside.
Open your mouth and Pray tonight!
CLOSING PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we Thank You. Your Word is Quick, is Sharper than Two-edged Swords.
We receive Your Words with Meekness and we mix these Words with Faith and we declare that these Words will Profit us in Jesus Name – Amen!!!
