TOPIC: THE CHURCH: LOOSING AND BINDING

BIBLE TEXT: MATTHEW 16: 15-19
Let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
First before I go into the Word of the Lord, I want to celebrate Daddy and Mummy – Daddy GO and Mummy GO on the occasion of this Year’s Congress (The RCCG Holy Ghost Congress 2022).
More Grace to you Daddy and Mummy and the entire Leadership of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
I want to Particularly give thanks to Daddy for many things he has been to me over many decades but Particularly since I became the National President of The Pentecostals Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) – He has been a Pillar of Strength, a Tower of Wisdom and each time that I looked behind and I see Daddy; I get really, really highly motivated.
Daddy, I am very Grateful.
Please help me celebrate my Daddy!
Tonight, I will be speaking to us shortly and we will Pray on: “The Church: Loosing and Binding”.
Let Us Pray!
OPENING PRAYER
Father, we Thank You for another RCCG Holy Ghost Congress and another opportunity to come into Your Presence. In Your Presence, there is the Fullness of Joy and at Your Right Hand, are Pleasures forevermore.
Lord, let Your Word come Oh God with Fire, with Grace and Lord ignite in us the Passion to Pray and Pray through.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Now, let’s open our Bibles to the Book of Matthew 16: 15-19 – This is a very familiar Passage of the Scriptures.
He said unto them – That is Jesus Christ speaking:
Matthew 16: 15-19
- He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
- And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
- And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in Heaven.
- And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this Rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not Prevail against it.
- And I will give unto thee the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on Earth shall be loosed in Heaven.
Here, the Lord Jesus Christ was leading His Disciples into a Deeper Knowledge of Him – They have been following Him close to three (3) years by this time, but they have not really known whom He was and He wanted them to know Him. Just as He still wanted you to know Him.
And there are Levels of the Knowledge of God and Levels of the Knowledge of Jesus Christ.
- There is a Foundational Level – When you know Him as Your Lord, and as Your Saviour. The One who died for you on the Cross, the One who shed His Blood to Redeemed you, the One who was buried, the One who rose again, the One who is alive forevermore.
When you believed Him like that, you become saved, you become Born Again.
- But God wants us to increase in His Knowledge because Grace is Multiplied through the Knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Truth is: We cannot know everything about Him – It takes the whole Eternity and we will still continue to discover Him.
But He wants to lead us from Knowledge to Knowledge; Day by Day because as we increase in the Knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord; we increase in Grace, we increase in Power, and we rise to a New Level of Glory.
I want to decree to Somebody listening to me tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; you are moving to a Higher Level of Glory – Amen!
The Word that will lift you to a Higher Level – The Level you have been Dreaming about, the Level you have been Fasting and Praying about; the Word that will lift you there – That Word will come to you today – Amen!
By the time that you are going home, you will never remain on the same Level again – Amen!
So, Jesus Christ spoke to them and asked them – What do you say I am?
Of course, God gave Peter a Revelation – He said: Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
And Jesus Christ went on to say: Well, you get it right because my Father in Heaven revealed it to you.
Now He said: I give you the Keys of the Kingdom. Whatever you bind on Earth, shall be bound in Heaven; whatever you loose on Earth, will be loose in Heaven.
This Word does not belong to Peter alone – It belongs to the Church!
The Church is the Body of Christ on Earth – With Jesus Christ Himself as the Head of the Church. All who are His Disciples, all who has been truly Born Again are the Children of the Living God. And this Scripture is for them!
If you are Saved and you are Washed, you are Sanctified, you are Justified and you are a Child of God; then this Scrioture is for you!
He says that: Whatever the Church shall bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever the Church shall loose on Earth, shall be loosed in Heaven.
Now we need to rediscover this – At this time in the world, there is so much of crises in the world, famine, wars all over the Place. And the Church must not be sleeping.
It is when People sleep, that the enemies will come and sow tares among the wheat.
When the Church is alive, the Church is awake and the Church is on Fire, then there is no way the Gate can Prevail.
I. I want to decree over your Life today that: The Gates of Hell shall not Prevail over you and your family – Amen!
II. I want to decree over the Church in Nigeria: The Gates of Hell shall not Prevail – Amen!
III. I want to decree over the Church in all Nations of the world: The Gates of Hell shall not Prevail – Amen!
How do I know that?
The Master said it. The King of the Universe who can never fail said: I am giving you the Keys of my Kingdom that rules over all.
When People don’t allow me to rule, I show them who is in Charge – I overrule, I let them know that mere Mortals cannot stop me and cannot stop my Kingdom.
And the same with the Church – What Jesus Christ said here is that: Whatever the Church forbids on Earth, is forbidden in Heaven or whatever the Church Prohibits on Earth, is Prohibited in Heaven.
When we see an evil Plot of the enemy and the Church says: No! Then the Heaven will also say No!
When we see a device of the enemy to create wars and trouble in our Nations or in any Nation and the Church says No, then the Heaven will also say No.
And the Bible says that: Whatever the Church Permits on Earth – Either Willingly or Negligently or through Carelessness or Ignorance or Connivance; then it is Permitted.
So tonight, God wants us to take Charge. He wants us to Stand on this Eternal Word and say: No, to every evils around us, every Sicknesses, every Bondages, every Afflictions of the devil, every Curses of the enemies, every evil in our families, every evils in our Nations.
Saying: No is an Answer. When it gets to the Throne of Heaven, Heaven Stamps it as No.
Some People are already talking about the General Elections in Nigeria in Year 2023 and they are saying that Nigeria will scatter. But the Church is saying: No!
Some People are saying that the General Election in Year 2023 in Nigeria is going to go to war but Somebody is saying: No!
The Church of Christ is agreeing that every evils that the enemies are Plotting against our Nations – Whether Nigeria or any other Nations of the world, Collectively here on the Authority of Christ, we say: No!
And then we are saying: All the Good Things, all the Blessings, the Breakthroughs, the Love, the Mercy, the Glory that God want to unleash upon your Life, family, business, career, Ministry; we are saying: A Resounding Yes!
So, which means that each and everyone of you that is agreeing with the Body of Christ to say “Yes” to all the Good Things, all evil things that the enemies has Planned; you will not be a Victim of any of them – Amen!
He says that there shall be no evil before thee, neither shall any Plague come near your Dwellings. But all the Blessings that God has Packaged for the Remainder of this Year 2022 and for Incoming Year 2023; those Blessings will land upon your Head from tonight – Amen!
When we decree and bind; we don’t have to stay too long on it – Your “No” is “No” and your “Yes” is “Yes” before the Throne of God!
That is the Authority that Jesus Christ has given to us:
I. He has given us Power to thread on Serpents and on Scorpions and over all Powers of the enemies.
II. He has given us Power to decree a thing and it snall be established.
And we are going to do exactly that tonight!
One of the ways to do it is through the Prayer of Faith – When we Stand as a Church and we Pray in Faith and we Pray in Agreement, we Pray in Simplicity, we Pray in Sincerity, we Pray with all our hearts and we Pray in Humility and Purity.
Heaven hears our Voices and Heaven says: Amen!
Now, all the Prayers that you will Pray to Him in this House tonight; Heaven will say Amen to them – Amen!
So, what are the works of the enemies in your Life – Sickness in your Body, Barrenness of the Womb, Affliction, Poverty, Lack. Now, we want to Prohibit them and bind them.
You just say one Word – Let that Word comes from your Heart.
Because the Bible says that: For this Purpose, the Son of Man was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil.
So, all the works of the devil, Somebody says: No!
All the Blessings of Calvary – Forgiveness, Deliverance, Liberty, Healings, Breakthroughs, Prosperity, Glory, Eternal Life. Somebody say: Yes!
That is the Church at war, that is the Church speaking with one Voice.
I don’t care whatever the Nation of the world that you have come from to this Place; I don’t care what the devil is trying to do do; we are Standing together tonight to resist the enemy.
The Bible says: Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
As a Child of God, you are not supposed to flee from the devil but you are to resist the devil and the devil will flee from you!
It is an Abomination for you as a Child of God, a Member of the Body of Christ to be afraid of the devil – Calvary finished him (Devil) forever, Calvary finished him Irredeemably. If he could not stop Jesus Christ from rising from the Grave, then he cannot stop you from fulfilling your Destiny.
I. Whether the devil likes it or not, you will fulfill your Destiny – Amen!
II. Whether the devil likes it or not; you will walk in Dominion – Amen!
III. Whether the devil likes it or not; all the works of the enemies against our Nations will become Null and Void – Amen!
We are binding tonight and Heaven will considered it bound – Amen!
We are loosing tonight, Heavens will consider it loose.
Because Christ whose Words are Eternal, whose Words can never failed has said it – He built His Church upon the Rock and the Gates of Hell cannot Prevail against it – Amen!
Are you ready to bind tonight or are you afraid? Are you ready to loose the Blessings of God tonight?
Stand Up on your feet wherever you are and you will lift your Voice to Him with Authority!
- Lift your Right Hand to Heaven and say: Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ; by the Authority of the Word of Jesus Christ, every works of the devil in my Life, Family, Business, Career – I bind them, I cast them out now. Come on, Pray that Prayer.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
- Lift your Hand and say: Father, I Thank You for the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross and His Resurrection. Father, every Blessings that Jesus Christ Possessed for me and my family, Career and Business with His Blood; I loose them now upon me – I loose Favour, Healings, Deliverance and Mercy. Begin to loose and Release the Blessings now!
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
- Lift your hands to Him and say: Father in the Name of Jesus Christ; all the devices of the devil to cause war, trouble, Violence, Kidnapping and every evil in Nations of the world; as Your Church, we bind them, we cast them out, we neutralise them in the Name of Jesus Christ. Pray that Prayer now.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
- Now, lift your hand and say: Father, we Pray as Your Church from all Nations of the world; we Pray for the Nation of Nigeria that come Year 2023, every Plans of the devil to forment troubles, crises, wars; that we forbid it in the Name of Jesus Christ; that we Prohibit it in the Name of Jesus Christ.
And that we Release Peace, Progress, Glorious Change, Breakthroughs upon Nigeria come Year 2023. Come on, Pray that Prayer.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
CLOSING PRAYER
As you have Spoken, God has done it.
By the Authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, every works of the devil in your Life, they are destroyed.
For it shall come to Pass on that Day that the burden shall be taken off your Shoulder and the yokes from off your Neck and your yokes shall be destroyed because of the Anointing.
On the Strength of the Word of God, every yokes in your Life, every Oppressions, every Afflictions, every Bondages; they are destroyed.
You have seen them up till today, but from today you will not see them anymore.
Upon you, we loose Blessings, we loose Favour, we loose Progress, we loose Grace, we loose Mercy; we Release Prosperity, we Release Abundance.
By the time you are going back home tonight; you are going at a Higher Level – The People that used to know you, they will not recognise you anymore. You are moving from Glory to Glory.
It is done, it is Settled – Your Blessing is Permanent, Irreversible and Irrevocable.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!!!
