OPENING PRAYER

Thank You Jesus. Thank You for Your Name and Thank You for this opportunity.

Thank You for Your Grace upon Your Children and Thank You for Your Love upon Your Children.

Thank You for Jehovah Jireh Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God – Blessed be Your Holy Name.

Accept our Thanks, in the Name of Jesus.

As this Parish is being Dedicated, and we sing Praises to You, may Your Name be Praised forever, in the Name of Jesus.

Thank You Everlasting Father.

For in Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Thank you Church!

I believe the History of this Parish has been written; and we Thank God for the Parish Mummy – A/P (Mrs) Omotayo Afolabi.

Although I have not been able to go through it very well – I will still go through it after now.

By the Grace of God, I want to Thank God for RCCG Jehovah Jireh Parish and that is why I sang that Song:

That’s the reason for the Song – And we want to appreciate the Name of the Lord.

Do you know that before this Parish was finally Planted, we had two (2) failed Go-a-Fishing just at the back of this Place? – Two (2) failed Go-a-Fishing!

I am saying so because I want to add to what has been written in the History of this Parish (laughter). That is why I am taking time to explain this.

When I say two (2) failed Go-a-Fishing, I mean we couldn’t recover the money spent.

We bought a Land and it is nowhere to be found up till today; and no Parish is existing there till date.

We Planted that Parish on Zonal
Level, so there were big Area Pastors then, including me. But we couldn’t get anything out of that Go-a-Fishing.

After that, we were told to Plant on Area Level – That it should be Area Church Planting. “How are we going to achieve this?” Then I started Praying. I was walking in the Redemption City, through the Access Bank; thinking “God, how am I going to achieve Area Church Planting?”

Actually, as I was thinking, somebody called me: Please, the name of Pastor John Tosin should also be on record in the History of this Parish.

The fellow that called me said, Pastor, I looked for you at the Zonal Meeting. And he said, I have found a Place around that area that we can use for House Fellowship.

I said, “I am interested, how do we go about it?”

Then we started from that first Address, before you moved the Parish to this Present Place.

We Planted a House Fellowship Center, and before you know it, this Parish was Planted.

I want you to know that’s how the Lord gave us the Name, Jehovah Jireh Parish – I was not the one who found the Venue, God just used somebody.

And the fellow called me Pastor Please come, I have found a Place that you can use: Start House Fellowship first, from there you can do the Go-a-Fishing on the same Place and start a Church there temporarily.

So it was very easy for us – We didn’t pay for anything, we just renovated the Place, and that is how the Church started.

Then when I was thinking of what to name the Parish, I came up the the name – “Jehovah Jireh Parish”.

Let somebody Clap for Jesus!

You know, when we came for the Go-a-Fishing, we had a Star Usher (That is your Pastor now).

Pastor Deji
Afolabi is a Star Usher in Jubilee and Mummy Omotayo Afolabi (his wife) is a Star Sunday School Teacher – They are full of energy and there are some Questions burning in them.

During the Go-a-Fishing, I was looking at them like this (you understand). So I said, “you are going to be the Pastor in Charge of Jehovah Jireh Parish.” Though they resisted. But since we have said it, it is already done!

Praise the Name of the Lord – Halleluyah!

They accepted to really work for the Lord here. Because I know, if Bro Deji is returning from work, he will come to Digging Deep direct without getting home first. Even his wife too.

So, if you want to choose People, choose Committed ones.

Because there are some Parishes we Planted that died Naturally because of what? The Leadership!

I looked at them and said, these People, if you want to use your energy in the Zone, they will not give you attention. And you would not have opportunities there because “Awon Akuko Gagara” (The giant Roosters) are too much there – Laugher!

You know, because of the resistance given to me as a Zonal Pastor then, I decided that I would be Planting Churches, and it paid off!

In those days, because I said to some People, how can you be an A/P (Assistant Pastor in RCCG) and still remain in the Zonal Headquarters – You are supposed to be Pastoring Parishes.”

They went to report me, before I knew it, they carried me from that Place. But it is Good because it was orchestrated by God for my promotion.

Praise God – Halleluyah.

So, we want to Thank God Almighty for Pastor Deji Afolabi, and his wife A/P (Mrs) Omotayo Afolabi for what God has done through them – I am filled with Joy and elated to be here today.

I can tell you, there are so many Churches we have Planted but cannot get anything out of it.

I came in here when the work was at the Foundation Stage, and I said: it is because Ogun Province 30 is farther, if not this Place would have become a Zonal Headquarter.

But they are our Big Brother – That is why this Place is still a Parish. Praise God!

So we want to Thank God because He gave them that ability and the Strength of Transformation – From a Rented Apartment, a Leased Apartment and be able to buy this Land.

Not only getting the Land, they have been able to build it to this Standard; with the Cooperation of every other Person that God has used alongside with them.

Like it has been mentioned – Three (3) families were transfered here from Jubilee Parish (Zone Headquarters) to start this Parish – That is, Pastor and Mrs. Deji Afolabi, Odebode and the wife, and Olowo and the wife. These were the Foundation Members transferred here.

And today, to God be the Glory! The Church Building would be Dedicated by our Regional Pastor come tomorrow, Sunday 28th April 2024. Glory be to God!

So we want to Thank God for the Man of God and his Team that He has been using in this Place.

And the Name of the Lord shall continually be Praised, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

COME UP HIGHER

They said it is a Charged: Come Up Higher.

Psalm 61:1-3:

1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

Do not be Clouded, God can Lift you from the pit to Higher Ground – Amen.

How many of you believe that God can lift you from the pit to Progress, Good Health, Wealth and Stability? The DMC Family Members!

This Year 2024 is loaded with Miracles and Abundance; Grace, Favour and Deliverance – Your own Resolution is that you have to be on Higher Ground, where every Trials can be confronted, and every Temptations resolved.

Also, you will resolve to make Progress in every area of your Life – In Education, in Prayer and Spiritual Development.

If you look at Judges 6:13, it says, And the Angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou Mighty Man of Valour.

That was Gideon – He was intimidated by the Midianites and whatever they wanted to do, they hide to do it underground. They could not come out to the open because the Midianites had enslaved them.

But the Angel of the Lord said to Gideon, “The LORD is with thee, thou Mighty Man of Valour.” – He was looking at himself. Praise the Lord!

The Greatness of God is inside of you; and you will come Up Higher, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

I said, you will come Up Higher, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!

Gideon was looking at himself as the son of a Nobody; as one that could amount to Nothing; and as somebody who could not do anything.

But God was calling him to be a Deliverer of the Israelites.

God said to him, Come Up Higher, you are a Mighty Man of Valour.

If you are looking down on yourself today, saying there is no way you can move Higher; God is saying to you, stop thinking that way! Because He can move you Higher.

In Exodus 14:10-15, the Israelites were confronted with the Red Sea; and they saw the Egyptians coming right behind them. God instructed Moses to move forward – Praise God!

The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your Peace. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward – Exodus 14:14-15

As from today, the Almighty God will fight for you – Amen.

And He will lift you up to Higher Ground – Amen.

SEVEN (7) LEVELS OF HEIGHT

1. The Bottomless Pit:

This is the lowest one – Bottom without end.

Revelation 20:1 says And I saw an Angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the Bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand…

2. The Pit:

That is the pit they threw Joseph into.

Genesis 37:22-24 – And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again. And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his Brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many Colours that was on him;

3. A Level Ground:

This is still a Struggling Stage.

And that you can find in 1 Kings 19:1-12.

4. Height
5. The Great Height:

At this Point you become a terror to the enemies.

2 Kings 1:9-14 tells us about Elijah and the fifty (50) Soldiers and their Captain.

And Elijah answered and said to the Captain of fifty, If I be a Man of God, then let fire come down from Heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from Heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

And he sent again a Captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third Captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O Man of God, I Pray thee, let my Life, and the Life of these fifty thy Servants, be Precious in thy sight.

The Third set started begging Elijah: I was sent, I didn’t send myself. Please, don’t consume me with fire.

Where your enemies will not be able to consume you is called Great Height.

6. Greater Height:

Here you have become Unstoppable.

As from today you will become Unstoppable, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

That is when your robe can be used to part Jordan.

No matter the Obstacles before you, God will give you the Anointing to be able to scale through, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

7. Heaven:

This is the Greatest Height – There would be no more disappointment for you there.

Praise God!

The Level God is taking you to, the Enemies will see you and say, “just leave him alone; he is Untouchable to the Enemies” in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

The Enemies will not ride on you again, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

Every Spirit husband, Spirit wife, will not be able to come to you again, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

From today, the Lord will begin to fight for you, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

ADVANTAGES OF HIGHER GROUND

1. You would Stand Out from the Multitude.

How many of you want to get there? The DMC Family Members.

Lord Plant my feet on Higher Ground.

God is taking you there, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

And you will Stand Out from the Multitude – Amen!

2. You will become Powerful.

Read Matthew 17:1-9

3. You can see far and hear what others cannot see or hear.

1 Kings 18:41 – And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a Sound of Abundance of Rain.

4. You can go far:

Meaning what? It will separate you from the Ordinary; you will not be an Ordinary Person again. And before anything happens, God would have told you, “this is the way it is going to happen.”

God will take you from that Place and Position you where you ought to be, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

I am talking to you today about the God who can pull you from the pit and make you dine with Kings.

Inside of you there is a trap of Greatness that you don’t know.

How do I mean?

David was just a Shepherd Boy, but there was a trap of Kingship in his Life.

The father even did not even know that there was Kingship in the Life of his son, David.

As you are now, you don’t know what God has created you with – And you are going to begin to find that Purpose as from today, in the Mighty Name of Jesus (Amen).

Because the trap inside of you is King and Queen of God; you will not be mesmerized again by the evil one, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

David remained a Shepherd Boy until God said to Samuel, Please go to the house of Jesse and Anoint for me a King – 1 Samuel 16:1-13

They brought the first son, Ha! This one is very huge. They brought the second son, very handsome. They brought the third son, he said this one is Good looking. They brought the remaining sons of Jesse, but God said No!

But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.

Jesse did not know there was something like Kingship in the Life of his last son, David. He did not know!

Our Parents may not know, but the God who created you deposited something Great inside of you.

That Greatness will find Manifestation, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

Forget the past, and don’t let the failures, the troubles, disappointments, human trials and temptations of past years continue to hunt you, limit or define you.

Make a Clean Slate of the Past and decide to move to the Higher Ground of Victory, of Blessing, Fruitfulness and Prosperity.

And I believe from this moment, God will begin to take us there – Amen.

I said, He will take us there, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!

Job 8:7 says, Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should Greatly Increase.

You are going to end up an Extraordinary Person, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

God is taking you from where you are now, and He is taking you to where you are supposed to be, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

And this is why He has Chosen this Theme. He says, Come Up Higher: you don’t belong to the Ground, you belong to the Top.

And the Lord is taking you there, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

You are the Head, you will never be the Tail, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

I want to tell you this evening that: “Setbacks are Preparations for Comeback.”

“Failure in essence, is the highlight that you are going to be Successful.”

“Your Quitting Point is your Breaking Point.”

And you will begin to break forth, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

I want to tell you this – “Persistent People begin their Success where others end in Failure.”

… You will not fail, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

I want to tell you that out Pastor, his family and the Team did not fail – And that is why we are witnessing all that is happening here today.

So many Churches have been Planted, but we cannot find them today.

1 Corinthians 3:6 says, I have Planted, Apollos Watered; but God gave the Increase.

The Lord has done Great Things for us here in Jehovah Jireh Parish, and His Name will be Glorified, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

So there is need for Persistence; there is need for you to move forward even in the face of what is happening and it seems as if Nothing is happening.

God will begin to make things happen, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

There is a Covenant over the Redeemed Christian Church of God – This is a Covenant Church.

And the God who established this Parish is a Covenant Keeping God – The Name of the Parish is Jehovah Jireh.

That Jehovah Jireh will move you up; He will take you Higher, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

Where you have been disappointed, you would be Appointed, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

The Lord will begin to fight for you, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

You don’t know the Covenant that is working for you – The Covenant in The Redeemed Christian Church of God:

As a Member, that Covenant will be enacted and it will work in your Life, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

Wherever you set your feet as from today, doors will open for you, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

… Am I hearing Amen for that? (Amen).

I said, wherever you set your feet as from today, doors will open for you – Amen!

The Lord will back you up, He will encourage you, He will take you Higher, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

ALTAR CALL

Finally, the Bible says in Psalm 15:1-2, Lord, who shall abide in thy Tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy Holy Hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh Righteousness, and speaketh the Truth in his Heart.

If you are here this Evening or reading now on the Label of DMC, and you have not given your Life to Jesus Christ; there is no way you can Come Up Higher because it is Jesus the Righteous One who is calling you to Come Up Higher.

If you are here, following us Online or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC, and you want to say Jesus, I want to Surrender to You today – I want you to Stand on your feet wherever you are right now.

Say with me: Lord Jesus; I believe in You. I believe in Your Word. Wash me with the Blood of the Lamb.

I will not go back to my sin again, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Father Lord, help me to begin to live a New Life in You, in the Name of Jesus.

Help me O LORD, that I will not go back to my vomit.

I Surrender to You today.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Father, I pyray for Your Children Oh LORD, as they have come to You.

Because if You have not drawn anyone to Yourself no one would come. But Your Spirit has talked to them.

I Pray Oh LORD, that You will accept them, in the Name of Jesus.

As from today, you will not go back to your sin, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

The Lord has washed you Clean, you will remain Clean for God; and You will be serving Him from today.

Jehovah Jireh Parish Covenant will begin to work for you from now on; and you will also Come Up Higher, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

So shall it be!

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Congratulations!
