GENERAL PRAYERS
Lift up your hands unto Him and say: Father; take me from where I am now, to the Place that is far better.
Take me to where You have designed for my life; to where You have destined for me to occupy.
Please, take me to the Place that is far better than where I am now: take my husband, my wife, my children Higher, in the Name of Jesus.
Thank You Father. In Jesus’ Precious Name we have Prayed – Amen.
OPENING PRAYER
I decree to the life of Somebody here tonight and those reading on the Label of DMC:
I don’t know your Present Condition and situation; but before June 1st this Year (2024) – if your Amen would be a “Resounding One”, your level shall be better than where you are now, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
COME UP HIGHER
Matthew 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
We have come with Good News this Evening – The Bible says, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power: who He went about doing Good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).
Jesus is visiting you today – Whatever the Problem(s) that followed you to this Year 2024; whatever the Problem(s) you are facing now; before this Month expires, the Lord will deliver you – Amen!
Jesus is in the House today and He wants to do you Good; and He wants to transform your life.
Genesis 1:2-3 says, And the Earth was without form, and void; and Darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be Light: and there was Light.
Every form of Darkness in your life and in your body, the Light of God will Shine on them today – Amen.
Lift your hands unto God and say: My Father, my Father; let Your Light shine into my Life, into my Family, into my Marriage, into my Career. Let there be Light!
Thank You Father. In Jesus’ Name we Pray – Amen.
Psalm 30:5 says, For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE WHO CAME UP HIGHER.
Hear me, in the journey of life, you are not destined to be on one spot.
- The Man at the Pool of Bethesda:
The Story of this man is recorded in John 5:2-9 – The Bible says for Thirty-eighth (38) Years he was on one spot.
How many years have you been in that problem?
For Thirty-eighth (38) Years this man wanted to Come Up Higher, but there was a force that held him captive.
I don’t know how many years you have been on that spot – Your father and mother could not go beyond that level, your siblings cannot go beyond that level; but you will go beyond that level, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
Ephesians 3:20 says, Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
He has helped people in the past, your own will not be impossible for Him.
I Pray, the Power and the Strength that you need to Come Up Higher, He will release upon you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
- Abraham:
In Genesis 12:1-2 – It is the Story of a man called Abraham.
The Lord commanded him; appointed him among his kinsmen – He didn’t call his father, mother, or any of his siblings.
He singlehandedly called Abraham, “Come Up Higher I will make you Great: From you all the Nations of the Earth shall be blessed.”
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy Country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a Great Nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name Great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the Earth be blessed.
And I Pray for you, in the Name that’s above every other name – I don’t know how many children your father has but among your siblings you shall be Singled Out – Amen!
- David:
In 1 Samuel 16:1-13 – It is the story of a young man called David. After God rejected King Saul, He told Prophet Samuel, go to Jesse’s house and get me a replacement for Saul.
By the time Samuel got to Jesse’s house, David was not at home. His elder brothers were there, but the Lord did not choose them. When Samuel was about to make a mistake the Lord said to him, none of them here is qualified.
And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. (1 Samuel 16:11)
That was the first time a man was given a Standing Ovation in his absence!
By the time David would appear, Samuel was sweating, Jesse (his father) was sweating, his brothers were also sweating. He was looking at them, “what is going on here?”
And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his Brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. (1 Samuel 16:12-13)
From that day: David’s Level Changed, his Status Changed, everything about him Changed – Everybody bowed down to him.
I command tonight, because you are under the sound of my voice or reading now on the Label of DMC: You are Coming Up Higher – Amen.
Among your father’s children, you will be a Leader – Amen.
It doesn’t matter whether you are the last born; when it comes to the Choice of God He picks whosoever He wishes.
I Pray for you tonight, the Lord that picked up David; the Lord that called Abraham out of his kindred will call you Up Higher – Amen.
- Moses:
In Exodus Chapter 2 – It is the Story of another man who Came Up Higher; his name is Moses.
Before Moses was born, death was already waiting for him.
Because a King who knew not Joseph came on board and told the Midwives – When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. (Exodus 1:16)
That was when Moses was born and he survived it.
He grew up in the Palace, but something happened, he ran away.
In Exodus 3:1 the Bible says, Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the Priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the Mountain of God, even to Horeb.
What was he doing on the backside of the desert? He was rearing animals.
Somebody who was supposed to be a Leader of a Nation; somebody who was to lead the Children of Israel out of Bondage.
When the Lord appeared to him, Fire was burning but the bush was not consumed. And the Lord spoke to him, “Moses, leave where you are, Come Up Higher!’
By the time he returned back to Egypt and got to Pharaoh’s house, he had become a terror.
It doesn’t matter where you are now, I Pray for you, by the next time they will see you; I said, by the next time they will see you, your enemies will bow down to you – Amen!
Tell yourself: I am Coming Up Higher – Amen!
- The Three (3) Hebrew Boys: Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego.
In Daniel 3:1-30, the Bible talks about the Three (3) Hebrew Boys. It calls them Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego.
Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O People, Nations, and languages, That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: Daniel 3:4-5
These Boys said, we are not ready to bow to your idol, we are not compromising. The King said, “I will show you pepper: I will show you my power.”
They increased the intensity of the fiery furnace; Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Daniel 3:22
What about the people thrown into the fire?
And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3:23
The Lord opened the eyes of the King, he Came Up Higher: Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his Counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Daniel 3:24-25
At the end of the day the King said, nobody should worship other gods expect the God of Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego: Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. (Daniel 3:29)
I Pray for you Sir and Ma, that the Fire is burning; those Challenges confronting you will Elevate you – Amen.
You have to Come Up Higher!
Where we took our Buble Text (Matthew 11:28) says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
There is a difference between Working and Labouring:
When you are working, at the end of the day, week, month and year, you will receive salary, allowance, profit, etc. And you will see what you are working for.
But when you are labouring, at the end of the day, week, month and year, you have little or nothing to show for your labour.
But I Pray for you; because you are under the Sound of my voice, and wherever you are reading this Message now on the Label of DMC: I Stand on the Rock of Ages and decree, the Era of Toiling is hereby terminated in your life – Amen.
He says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Sir and Ma, for how long will you continue in that Struggle? You are not getting any younger.
- When do you want to have Rest?
- When do you want to have Peace?
- When do you want to eat the Fruits of your Labour – When?
They are using your wife, your husband, your children, your health to torment you;
Every Conspiracy of the Wicked one over your Life, I hereby cancel them by Fire – Amen!
PRAYER
Say Father, give me Rest!
In Jesus’ Name we have Prayed – Amen.
We have looked at the Examples of People who Came Up Higher. Let me show you one more:
- The Man at the Beautiful Gate:
Our Pastor here referred to the Man at the Beautiful Gate in Acts 3:1-8.
He was at the Gate called Beautiful, but there was nothing beautiful in his life.
They carried him there everyday – He was a burden, and a Liability. He depended on People for his survival. And for his daily Meals, he needed people to help him.
*I don’t know your own Problem today:
- People helped you to pay your rent last year, it has expired again this year. And you are still looking up to someone to help you settle it.
- For the children School fees you have always looked up to somebody to pay it.
Sometimes when you call and they see your phone number, they would say: “I will not pick it, because I know he is calling again to beg.”
You have become a burden, a liability and an object of shame to them.
But I want to Pray for you today; the Lord who used Peter and John for the Man at the Beautiful Gate;
For the Bible says, Then Peter said, Silver and Gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received Strength – Acts 3:6-7
The man left his usual spot that very day by himself for the first time and walked into the Temple.
I Pray for you today, in the Name that’s above every other name, you are Coming Up Higher – Amen.
And those People you have been borrowing from; all those you have been looking up to, before June this year (2024) would look up to you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
WHAT CAN I DO TO COME UP HIGHER?
- You must be willing to accept the Invitation and Command:
Isaiah 1:18 says, Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
It is an Invitation!
He is calling you; Brother, Sister, He wants to help you. He says come now let us reason together.
You have a Choice in this matter – Whether to live with your crisis or to accept His Invitation that will give you rest.
- You must be Obedient to His Invitation and Command:
Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Ladies and Gentlemen, there is an Invitation to you today – You want to be great in life? It is your Choice. You want to manage your life, it is your Choice.
You must be willing to accept His Invitation and you must be obedient to Him
… What can I do to Come Up Higher?
- You need Faith:
You have not seen Him, but you believe that He exists.
Hebrews 11:6 But without Faith, it is impossible to Please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
You need Faith to Come Up Higher; you need Faith!
- You need Rugged Determination:
The type that says, “I am not taking NO for an answer – My father landed on this Place he stopped here. I will not stop here.”
Years back I made up my Mind that I will be Greater than my father. That where he stopped would be my Starting Point in Destiny.
… I am not there yet but I have left where I used to be!
I Pray for you today, as you determine to Come Up Higher you shall be Greater than your Parents, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
- Get Rid of Excess Luggage called Sin:
If you want to Climb Up Higher, it is better for you to get rid of sin.
Every Unrighteousness is a sin: Lie is a sin.
- Sin will Sink you.
- Sin will make you stink.
- Sin will destroy you.
You must get rid of sin if you want to Come Up Higher.
If you have been to the Airport and you want to travel, there is an Acceptable Kilogram of Luggage for you to carry.
When you have Excess Luggage, you may be asked to drop them.
So, if you want to Come Up Higher, stop committing sin – Adultery, Fornication. Stop Stealing, Smoking, drinking.
… Young Boys and Girls stop destroying your life.
The Government is not helping matters – In our Generation now there are lots of small sachet of those things that destroy our Youths.
Bring all of them together, hardly will you find three (3) Youths who are not into drugs – It will destroy your life.
If you want to Come Up Higher, Ladies and Gentlemen, you must get rid of sin.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a New Creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become New.
ALTAR CALL:
Are you Born Again? Is your name written in the Book of Life?
If you want to Come Up Higher, sin will sink you.
So you have to Surrender your life to Jesus Christ today and He will save your Soul and give you rest.
