OPENING PRAYER
Father, we bless Your Holy Name.
Controller of Times and Seasons, the Alpha and the Omega, the God who has been with us for all these forty (40) years of Holy Ghost Services.
Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.
Tonight, like never before:
Bless Your Children,
Answer their Prayers
And let Your Name be Glorified.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Well, shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: Good Evening, God bless you.
And then, you may Please be seated.
My Assignment on this First Day of the Special Holy Ghost Service is just to come and Pronounce a Father’s Blessing.
But I am sure that you appreciate the fact that the Almighty God has done Marvellous things to us through these Children who had gone ahead of us.
I was thinking that I would come and give you a Summary of everything that they have said.
But when I looked at my Note book, I discovered that if I were to start one by one to tell you what I have learnt from these Children Tonight, we will still be here till early in the Morning.
I want to Thank all of you my Children that you all did extremely well.
Each and everyone of you and the various Choirs has been very good.
Choir No 3 (DMC NOTES: The Choir that represented the Western Zone) took Worship to New Level – And so, I must commend them on that.
But every of the other Choirs too (DMC NOTES: Choirs representing South East, South South and Northern Zones) did Excellently.
As a matter of fact, I pitied those of you who do not come at the time when we have these Zonal Presentations.
Because each time that we come, it is like going through Bible School.
These Children are loaded – They are really loaded!
And for one reason or the other which I am yet to discover, the Almighty God seems to hide the best in the North Year after Year.
The Fellow from the North will just take you beyond your Expectations.
I think that we should give the Almighty God a round of applause for that.
I mean look at my two (2) daughters of Tonight (DMC NOTES: Representatives of South South and Western Zones) – They were just Teaching and adding Points upon Points.
And the Young Man who started the Show Tonight (DMC NOTES: Representative of South East Zone) simply showed us clearly that we are heading for a Glorious Evening.
… These boys and girls are just Wonderful!
Glory be to God!
So, I was coming just to go briefly over all what they have said and then Pray for you and we will go.
And then all of a sudden, Daddy spoke to me and said that this is a Special Anniversary of the Holy Ghost Services.
And that in the Eve of a Great Anniversary, you can always have a little Celebrations.
I am going to share with you for about 10 Minutes and then you are going to Pray a kind of Prayer I am sure that you have not Prayed before.
My own Bible Text is: John 2:1-11:
- And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
- And both Jesus was called, and his Disciples, to the marriage.
- And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
- Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
- His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
- And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
- Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
- And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
- When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the Governor of the feast called the Bridegroom,
- And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
- This beginning of Miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his Glory; and his Disciples believed on him.
It is the Story of the Wedding in Cana of Galilee.
And there are some Specific things in that Story:
- The first thing was that Jesus Christ was invited and He accepted the Invitation.
That was a Good Thing!
And it is a Good Thing that you are here Tonight because Jesus Christ is here.
He said so in Matthew 18:20 – He said: Where two (2) or three (3) are Gathered in my Name, I will be there in their midst.
So we already have Good – That Jesus Christ is here.
- In the Story at the Wedding in Cana Galilee, there is something better.
And the better thing was that when they needed wine, the mother of Jesus Christ asked Him and Jesus Christ granted that Request.
And I have Assurance that whatever you ask God Tonight, He is going to do it for you – Amen.
Because He said so.
He Promised in John14: 13-14: If you ask anything in my Name, I will do it.
So, how many of you believed that, that Promise will be fulfilled in your Life Tonight? Yes for the entire DMC Family Members.
Because as our Children told us Tonight; if you are comparing things, you start with “Good”, then you move on to “Better” and then you move on to “Best”. Before you now begin to talk about “Excellence”
So on that Day:
☆ They had “Good” because Jesus was Present.
And we already had God because Jesus is here.
☆ Then they had “Better” because He granted their Requests.
What they asked for, they got.
And according to Philippians 4:19: I am sure that my God shall Supply all your Needs Tonight.
- And then the “Best” thing that happened to them that day was that He gave them more than they asked for.
We lack wine – That was what they asked for:
☆ And then He gave them wine in Abundance.
☆ And then, He gave them wine that was so Good.
It was so Good that the Master in Chargge of Ceremony commented on it.
And according to Ephesians 3:20 – Our God is able to do exceedingly, Abundantly above all that we can ask or think.
In John 10:10(b) – He says that I came that you may have Life and have it more Abundantly.
The Conclusion of course is Simple:
The Conclusion is the basis of the Prayer that we are about to Pray.
The Conclusion is that we can say to God: Tomorrow is the “Big Day”, we will be glad to leave that which is Excellent till tomorrow.
But Tonight, being the Eve; give me the Best.
☆ I already have Good because I know that You are here.
☆ I already have Better because I know that you will answer my Prayers.
The Best? You can even give me more than I can ask for.
Our Prayers Tonight will be: God, Today is the Eve; just give me the Best Tonight and Tomorrow we shall discuss as Excellent.
But Tonight before I sleep, give me the Best that You can give to anybody.
ALTAR CALL
But before we Pray that Prayer very quickly, there might be Somebody who has not yet given Jesus Christ an opportunity to take over his Life.
Remember that in that Story; they invited Jesus.
You too can invite Him into your Life now – You can invite Him into your Soul, you can invite Him as it were into your own Peculiar Wedding that is taking Place Today.
So, if you are here and you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ; we will give you two (2) Minutes to come over very quickly to come and Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ.
He says in Revelation 3 20 – He said: Behold, I Stand by the door and I knock, if any Man will hear my voice and then open the door to me, and then I will come in.
In other words, He is saying that if you will invite Him, He will come in.
So, if you have not given your Life to Jesus Christ, I am only going to count from one (1) to five (5).
Before I say five (5), you run forward very quickly and come and give your Life to Jesus Christ.
We will Pray for your Salvation before we Pray that Major Prayer that we have never Prayed before.
And then you will be welcome to join us in Praying that Prayer.
So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ, I’m counting now!
Those of you alresdy infront, go ahead and call on Jesus Christ and say:
Please, I am inviting You to come into my Life, I am inviting You to come and be my Lord and Saviour and I am inviting You to take over the rest of my Life.
Have Mercy on me, save my Soul and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.
And the rest of us, shall we Please Stretch forth our hands towards these People and intercede for them.
Pray that the One who saved our Soul will save their Own Souls also.
Please Pray for them for just 2 Minutes.
Thank You Father!
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
PRAYER FOR SALVATION
My Father and my God, I want to Thank You even for Your Words.
And I want to Thank You for all these People who has decided to come and Surrender their lives to You.
Please Lord, as they have invited You into their lives:
Please accept the Invitation,
Have Mercy on them,
Forgive all their sins,
Let Your Blood wash them Clean,
Let them become Members of the Family of God.
And from now on, whenever they call on You, Please answer them by Fire.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
SPECIAL PRAYER POINT
The Prayer of this Evening must not be handled casually.
If God gives you His Best tonight, by tomorrow you won’t even recognise yourself.
So, I am going to give you about ten (10) Minutes – The Altar is free and it is between you and God alone.
This is not the kind of Prayer that you Pray for a friend or your Neighbou- It is a Prayer between you and God.
And the Prayer is Simple::
Father, give me “Your Best” Tonight.
I just want “Your Best” because I know that by tomorrow:
☆ I will have a Testimony.
☆ I will be a New Person.
☆ I will really, really be Celebrating an Anniversary of Miracles, of Signs and of Wonders.
So Tonight Lord, just give me “Your Best”.
Whatever You considered as “The Best” that You can give for anyone; give it to me Tonight.
Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God!
Thank You Father!

FATHER’S BLESSING
My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name because it has Pleased You to give us something Extra – Something that will Preceed what You really want to do for us tomorrow (DMC NOTES: On Friday, 6th March 2026 of The RCCG Special Holy Ghost Service 2026).
Father, Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
In Your Name, I bless all these Your Children.
I Pronounce on you a Father’s Blessing and you shall be Blessed.
“The Best” that the Almighty God can give, receive it now.
Father, I am asking for something Extra for myself Personally:
I want You my Lord and my Saviour, not only to give these Your Children “The Best” but to make them “The Best”.
In every facets of their lives, make them “The Best”:
In their homes, make them “The Best”.
In their Places of work, make them “The Best”.
In their Churches, make them “The Best”.
In Relationship with You, make them “The Best”.
Before the Sun rises tomorrow, let it be clear to them that things are now different.
Thank You Almighty God.
