OPENING PRAYER
Ancient of Days, we will never be ungrateful to You
We are here to say Thank You:
King of Glory, we say Thank You.
Lord of Lord, we say Thank You.
For all that You have been doing in this very Commission Lord, especially during the Holy Ghost Services for the Past forty (40) years.
Thank You Father for the Life of our father-in-the-Lord for the Past eighty four (84) years.
We are Grateful!

Accept our Thanks in the Name of Jesus.
Lord, all we have come to do this day is just to say “Thank You”.
Accept our Praises and let Your Name be Glorified.
Even the Thanksgiving of our Daddy and Mummy, as we join them, Almighty God accept it Lord and let Your Name be Glorified.
Thank You Father because You have Answered.
Blessed Redeemer, we Worship You.
In Jesus Mighty Name we Pray – Amen!
Once again, I want to sincerely appreciate my Parents – Daddy and Mummy for the Privilege that has been given to us today to share the Word of God even on this Exalted Altar. We are not taking it for granted.
May the Lord God Almighty Preserve your Relevance and continue to bless you more and more as well as renew your Strength in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!
This Morning, the job before me is so simple.
My dear Mummy-in-the-Lord has led us in Prayers and we have already sang a Song.
And the Topic of what I am sharing is: “Expressing Gratitude to the Excellent God of our Father”.
And I am reading from 1 Chronicles 29: 10-13:
- Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the Congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
- Thine, O LORD, is the Greatness, and the Power, and the Glory, and the Victory, and the Majesty: for all that is in the Heaven and in the Earth is thine; thine is the Kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
- Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is Power and might; and in thine hand it is to make Great, and to give Strength unto all.
- Now therefore, our God, we Thank thee, and Praise thy Glorious Name.
There is nothing we are here to offer to God that He does not have.
In Heaven, in Revelation 5: 11-12; He said:
- And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many Angels round about the Throne and the beasts and the Elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
- Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive Power, and riches, and Wisdom, and Strength, and Honour, and Glory, and Blessing.
We have many Angels in Heaven – Innumerable numbers of them; the Beasts and the Elders; ten thousands and ten thousands and Millions of Celestial Beings are Praising God everyday.
So, we are here this Morning to add to their Voices as so our esteemed father and mother; in appreciation to our God for what He has done for us in this Commission.
We know that expressing our Gratitude is simply showing our Thankfulness and Appreciation unto Him.
Often with People: Regrets over yesterday and anxiety over tomorrow as well as Ingratitude for today’s Blessings are the major Plagues that affects Human Beings before God somehow.
But for us in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and as one set aside; a Thankful Heart will be a Grateful Heart and a Grateful Heart will be a Praiseful Heart.
That is what we have seen in the Life of our esteemed Parents and also in the Life of David from the Bible Text that we have read.
We have received from this Altar that Joseph is an example of an Excellent Man. And David was also said to be one.
Here this Morning, David can be one – He was the one referred to as a Man after God’s Heart in Acts 13:22.
David among all the other Kings, we discovered that he knew how to Praise God and show Gratitude unto God Almighty.
My Daddy and my Mummy has been leading us in Example of how to Praise God – They got the Revelation from God through the Life of David and others.
Daddy will usually return Praise and Quality Thanksgiving to God and so does our Parents always.
And that is what we are going to do today.
And how did David do it?
- David and my Parents, they learned how to give Praises and Thanks to God in full Acknowledgement of who He is.
We need to Acknowledge who God is:
☆ He is our Maker.
☆ He is our Saviour.
☆ He is our Redeemer.
☆ He is our Creator.
☆ He is our Helper.
☆ He is our Sustainer.
☆ He is our All-in-All.
And we need to know that:
☆ He is the Almighty God.
☆ And the Sovereign God that can make alive and at the same time kill.
☆ He is the One that install King and removes King.
Deuteronomy 32:39 says: See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
That is why we are Thanking God for the Past eighty four (84) years that this God has been Preserving the Life of our Daddy.
By the Grace of God, He saved the Life of our Daddy and that is why many of us are beneficiary of the blessings thereof:
I. If He did not save him, there is no way we will be enjoying what we are enjoying today.
II. If God did not Preserved his Life:
☆ I remembered that he once said that on a narrow Bridge, at a Particular time; that himself and his then Driver were facing death, but God averted the inavertable.
☆ At a time when he was even Young, I remembered that he told us that himself and the Senior Sisters were on a Journey and they heard the noise of a Lorry and he had to be thrown to a very deep pit with Pythons but God did not allow the Python to kill him.
III. If he had gone then Brethren, the eighty four (84) years Anniversary that we are Celebrating today won’t have been Celebrated.
IV. But for the fact that God has decided to Preserve this Life; Redemption Camp won’t have come up.
V. Infact Mummy GO would have missed marrying our Daddy.
But because God Preserved that very Life, that is why we are enjoying what we are enjoying now!
VI. The Holy Ghost Service would not have come up for the forty (40) years.
The Lord created the Stammerer, He created the Blind, He created the Deaf, He created the Crippled – That is who He is in His Sovereignty as the Almighty God.
You are not a Stammerer, you are not deaf, your hands are still yours – I think that you should put that hands together for the Lord.
Please appreciate that God.
Know Him as the All Sufficient God, El-Shaddai God, the Ancient of Days, the Almighty God and the Jehovah Nissi that has Preserved us.
- They are Praising God and dancing and doing it with Amazement and Excitement.
David danced in an amazing way in 2 Samuel 6: 14-23.
And by the Special Grace of God, even God was Pleased with him.
Unfortunately, his wife who disdain him became Barren.
Daddy Praise God with Amazement and Excitement – And this makes him to be the Psalmist of our time.
Every time that the Holy Ghost Service will be coming up, we are here to learn another Song.
How many Songs have we sang for the Past forty (40) years?
If a Compendium of these Songs will be made by the Choir; you will be amazed by the Inspiration.

2 Corinthians 4:7 says: But we have this Treasure in Earthen Vessels, that the Excellency of the Power may be of God, and not of us.
What a Treasure in Earthen Vessel? For the Past eighty four (84) years, still Active and Vibrant.
We want to Thank God.
We want to join them to Praise God and to Magnify the Name of the Lord,
We want to say: God, you are Great for the Past eighty four (84) years for all that You have been doing.
In 2 Samuel 23:1; the Bible called David the Psalmist of Israel.
I don’t know David but this is the Psalmist of our time that I know.
Our father-in-the-Lord, every now and then, the Lord has been inspiring him.
If you have been blessed by this Special Song, can I hear you say: “Thank You Jesus”.
That is how our Daddy respond – Intermittently, you will be hearing Thank You Jesus!
- They Praise God as an Attitude and Attribute.
It is their Attitude to Praise God and Attributes even to Praise God.
And in Psalm 119:164, David says: Seven times a day do I Praise thee because of thy Righteous Judgments.
Psalm 34:1 says: I will bless the LORD at all times: his Praise shall continually be in my mouth.
If you are here to Praise God this Morning, shout the loudest Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
- They Praise and Thank God for Achievements.
- They Praise and Thank God in Agony and Sorrow.
That even when the Holy Ghost Service is taking Place and something happens; Daddy will still Praise God.
Are you ready to Praise God this Morning?
Are you ready to say Thank You God with them?
God is ready!
I will like us to Stand on our feet:
I want you to know that I heard during The RCCG Solemn Assembly 2026 that Daddy said: Until you replace Singing to your murmuring.
And I began to think about it – And I discovered that John The Baptist was the Greatest among all Human Beings though the least in the Kingdom of God.
But he lost his head because of Ingratitude.
And yet in the same Prison, Paul and Silas were Praising God and God set them free.
Are you ready to Praise God?

Are you here and you are about to Praise God?
If you want Heaven to be happy with you; there is an eruption of Joy that wants to happen in Heaven now.
Joy wants to fill Heaven and they want to be happy with you.
So, if you are here and you want to say: Lord, I give my Life to the Lord Jesus Christ; wherever you are, can you be coming now?
Heaven wants to rejoice as in Luke 15:7 says: I say unto you, that likewise Joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just Persons, which need no repentance.
GENERAL PRAYER
Everyone of us, as we are Standing Up; let us begin to give Thanks to the Almighty God in Acknowledgement of who He is to you – Whether He is your Creator, Saviour, All-in-All.
Begin to mention it.
Go ahead and Thank the Lord!!!
