TOPIC: JOSEPH AS AN EXAMPLE OF EXCELLENT YOUTH/TEENAGER.

OPENING PRAYER
Our Heavenly Father, we give You Thanks. We are Grateful for Tonight.
Thank You for forty (40) years Anniversary of the Holy Ghost Service.
Thank You for The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Thank You for Your Son and Your beloved Servant – Pastor E.A Adeboye.
Thank You for his wife, children, Grandchildren and family.
Thank You for the entire Workforce of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Father, Thank You for the Gift of Life.
Thank You for the opportunity to gather in Your Presence.
Thank You for our Great Nation.
Our Lord and our God, this Great work which You have started will accomplish everything that You Destined it to.
And this Night, the Blessings that You have Ordained for everyone of us will not elude us in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Your Servant who You have Set Up as a Shepherd over us, he will go from Strength to Strength and from Grace to Grace.
His Strength will not fail
Your Grace will not fail in his Life
He will remain a Shinning Beacon of Light – Shinning Brighter and Brighter by the day.
We give You all the Praise and all the Glory for what You have done, for what You are doing and for what you will yet do.
Glory be to God.
In Jesus Name we Pray – Amen.
Shall we have our seat.
Excellent People Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
My first Assignment here is this:
I. If you are in the range of Age 12 to 19, Stand up wherever you are and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
Please, don’t sit down yet, Please keep Standing.
II. If you are 20 years to 29 years, join them and together shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
Don’t sit down – Keep Standing.
III. If you are 30 to 39 years, Stand up and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
Keep Standing Please.
This means that for all you Standing now, the Holy Ghost Service started before you were born.
How many of you wants the Spirit of Excellence now?
God said that I should talk to you Personally tonight.
And I am going to give you one Example of an Excellent Youth/Teenager who spent the next 80 years of his Life in Abundance, in Pleasure, in Greatness and in Glory.
And I am Praying because God told me that if you follow the Instructions tonight; that some Excellent Spirit will come upon you – Amen!
Now, you can take your seat.
But know that this word is for you.
Father, that is what You said, confirm Your Words.
Joseph was an Excellent Youth/Teenager:
I. He grew up and remained an Excellent Youth/Teenager.
II. He crossed 50 years Old and remained an Excellent Leader.
III. And he maintained his Excellence till he died.
But the Spirit of Excellence was upon him from his Youth/Teenagers years.
What was the Secrets of his Excellence?
As I tell you the Secrets of his Excellency, I will also tell you the benefits of the Excellent Life that he lived along too.
In Genesis 41: 38-46; Pharaoh said in Verse 38 – And Pharaoh said unto his Servants, can we fund such a Man as this? A Man in whom the Spirit of God is?
SECRET NO 1: You must have the Spirit of God.
SECRET NO 2: You must be in tune with God so that you can hear Him regularly.
Pharaoh said that in as much as God has shown you all these, there is no one in the entire Egypt as discerning and Wise as you are.
From today, you will not lack the Revelation of God – Amen.
He had the Holy Spirit of God and then he had Inspiration from God – That was how he maintained his Excellence.
SECRET NO 3: As a
result of his Excellence, Pharaoh said that I set you over all my house and all my People – You will rule over them.
Meaning that he had Dominion.
God will give you Dominion – Amen.
In Verse 42, Pharaoh took his ring from his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand and clothed him with clothes of fine linen and then put a Gold Chain around his neck.
Meaning that Joseph has Rightful and Lawful Wealth.
God will give you Lasting Wealth – Amen.
In Verse 43, Pharaoh made Joseph to ride in his Second Chariot and he commanded that everybody should bow to him.
Meaning that Joseph had a Glory.
God will give you ” Lasting Glory” – Amen.
In Verse 45, Pharaoh called Joseph’s name as Zaphnathpaaneah and he gave him as a wife Asenath, the daughter of Potipherah Priest of On.
Meaning that Joseph had a blessed and a Fruitful Marriage.
God will give you a blessed, Glorious and Fruitful Marriage in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
In Verse 46, Joseph went round all the Land of Egypt.
Meaning that Joseph enjoyed Prominence.
You will enjoy Prominence and become the Center of Attraction in your Locality – Amen
The last benefits that Joseph had here on Earth is in Genesis 50:22 – And Joseph dwelt in Egypt; he and his father’s house and Joseph lived for 110 years.
Joseph went into Egypt as a Slave:
I. He became the General Manager of Portiphar’s Business.
II. He landed in jail for refusing to become a Mediocre and buying Mediocre Mentality.
III. He maintained his Excellence even in Jail.
IV. He ended up with a Crown.
What was his Secrets?
- He had the Spirit of God.
- He was always in Communication with God – He had an Inspiration flowing with God.
- This is the original Secret – In Genesis Chapter 39, when Portiohar’s wife kept on putting him under Pressure; he turned her down.
Why did he turn her down?
In Genesis 39:9, Joseph said that there is no one in this house Greater than I, neither has my Master kept anything back from me but you because you are his wife. How then can I do this Great Wickedness and sin against God?
A Man/Youth/Teenager without the fear of God cannot keep an Excellent Spirit.
You may be brilliant but you won’t have an Excellent Spirit – No, not Godly Excellence.
Joseph had the fear of God in him!
And Proverbs 9:10 told us that: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom.
No wonder, he was able to solve all the Problems.
I have a brief Call for you Tonight and it is a Simple Call – I want to appeal to you.
Joseph had an opportunity to enjoy the Pleasure of sin.
The woman who begged him to come and lie with her said to Joseph – Nobody will know and Nobody will see it.
Joseph said that you must be a fool to think that Nobody is seeing because I know that God is seeing.
The woman said that there won’t be any adverse consequence(s) as I am in Charge and in Control of my husband. And even if he gets to know, there is nothing that he can do.
Joseph said that you must be a fool because even if there is nothing that he can do, there is a consequence to my unrighteousness.
Joseph was told that everybody is doing it and so you too go ahead and do it.
Dear Youths/Teenagers, that is the biggest lie – You must be a fool to feel that everybody is being corrupted.
In the Generation of Noah, Millions of People on Earth were corrupted but Noah and his children stood out differently.
Don’t think that everybody is doing it – It is a lie. You must be a Mediocre to think that everybody is doing it.
Oh, God is not wicked – He is so Merciful and He will not Punish anyone because He understands.
That is a lie – Go and ask them in Sodom and Gomorrah or ask David.
Oh enjoy yourself now as you are still Young and then you will repent later.
That was the Foolishness of Samson:
I. Samson was about 20 years old when he began to Judge Isreal.
II. He lasted only for 20 years and he died a Blind Man.
Why? Because the Lawful Sexual Pleasure that he would had in Marriage, he began to have it before Marriage.
So for Joseph, his Secrets are:
No 1 Secret: He feared God.
No 2 Secret: He was filled with the Holy Spirit.
No 3 Secret: He is always in Communication with God.
☆ And so he rejected that Free Sex.
☆ He kept himself until he came out of the Prison.
☆ He became 30 years Old and he Lawfully married.
☆ And he enjoyed sex for the next 80 years of his Life Lawfully.
Samson started having Problems early in Life.
Have you started having Challenges, Failure, Crisis? Check your Life.
When the Spirit of Excellence leaves you:
☆ You that used to be 1st, 2nd or 3rd, but now you are last, last and last.
☆ You that used to have Success, Success, Success but now Failure, Failure, Failure; Disappointment, Disappointment, Disappointment and then Struggle, Struggle, Struggle.
What happened?
The Good News is this: The fear of God will return to you Tonight and the Spirit of Excellence will come back Tonight. But you must do the Needful.
When Samson lost the Anointing, he turned back to God,
He said: God, just forgive me. I have done everything that I should do; forgive me. Please return the Anointing to me so that I can accomplish what You created me to do.
Youth/Teenager, there is something that you are created to achieve.
If the Spirit of Excellence does not come upon you, you will not be able to achieve it.
I have come to Prepare you for the Spirit of Excellence that is about to fall, which our father-in-the-Lord will come to release upon everyone.
But you will not be able to receive or keep that Spirit of Excellence except you return to the fear of the Lord.
I want to give a Call now to all those who knows that one time or the other; you lost that Spirit of Excellence, Success, Progress and Achievements.
All of you – Whether you are a Youth/Teenager or not.
When God told me in 1973 – If you don’t keep Company with bad boys/girls; I will watch you for a year and after that, I will give you my Power as I gave it to the Apostles.
I told God that I will not even be friends with them.
Today, I can look back – This is 2026 and I can see that God has been Faithful as I kept my own Part of the bargain.
I want to give you a Call Tonight – You want that Spirit of Excellence to be given to you or you want to recover all that you have lost Youth/Teenager.
I was a Youth/Teenager like you when I gave my Life to Jesus Christ.
I was a Youth/Teenager like you when I received the Apostolic Anointing.
And God has helped me.
Why are you Struggling?
Why are you Failing?
Why are you entertaining bad friends and the likes?
Do you want the Spirit of Excellence to return unto you?
I want to Pray for you Tonight if you are willing.
While all of us will bow our heads now for Prayer.
Let us Pray!
ALTAR CALL
I will ask any of you that:
☆ Acknowledges that you need Help to overcome all those Struggles.
☆ Or if you are lacking in that Spirit that helped Joseph.
☆ Or you have allowed Mediocre Spirit to Challenge you at any time
But Tonight or as you are reading now on the Label of DMC; you want to say: Jesus, restore that Spirit to me which you gave Joseph.
Then start coming out as I will Pray with you.
You have 3 Minutes to move – So, if you want to move, start coming now.
I will count from one (1) to five (5) – You know that you want that Spirit, then come now.
God sent me to you – He knows that:
☆ You have started keeping bad gangs.
☆ They have started influencing you,
☆ You have started Struggling
☆ He knows what you have lost and He wants to give it back to you Tonight.
This is why He sent me to you.
Joseph was at your Age when the Spirit of Excellence began to dominate him.
So, if you want to give your Life back to God so that the Spirit of Excellence and the Spirit of God will come over you and help you out of all the mess and then set you up for Excellence and Dominion; Please start coming now!
As you are coming, say:
Oh God, give me back what I lost, forgive me and I will not continue in my former ways again. Just give me back what I lost.
OPEN SALVATION DECLARATIONS
Say after me:
My Lord and my God, restore to me the Spirit of Excellence as You gave it to Joseph.
I am sorry in any way that I have offended You and lost the Spirit of Excellence; forgive me Tonight.
Lord Jesus, You said that You have come to restore Life to me and so restore it Abundantly.
Lord Jesus, come into my Life and take over my Life.
Remove the Spirit of Failure, remove the Spirit of Foolishness and replace it with the Spirit of Excellence.
I accept You as my Personal Lord and Saviour and accept You as my King and Leader.
I believed that You are the Son of God; You died and You rose from the dead.
You died just to take away my sin.
Therefore, I received Forgiveness of all my sins and all my errors.
I now receive the Mercy of God and Eternal Life.
Thank You Father for forgiving me.
Thank You for saving my Soul.
Thank You for restoring to me the Spirit of Excellence.
Thank You Father!
In Jesus Name we Pray – Amen.
Please, place your hands on your heads as I Pray for you!
CLOSING PRAYER
My Father, these are the ones You sent me to and they have heard Your Voice.
Every Relationship with bad gangs; I destroy today in the Name of Jesus
Every Company that will want to corrupt their lives, we remove you today from that Company in the Name of Jesus.
Father, I Pray that You will let a New Spirit come upon Your Children.
The Spirit of the fear of the Lord that will spring up Wisdom in their lives; make them Prosper, Succeed and have Dominion, let it come upon them.
The rest of your Life shall be spent in Joy and Peace.
You will not depart from the ways of the Lord.
Glory be to God Tonight.
