OPENING PRAYER
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the Lord God Almighty Himself, the Owner of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – We Worship You.
Thank You for the Salvation of our Soul, Thank You for Calling us into the Ministry.
Thank You for this “Miracle Church” – It started so small and waxing so Big.
Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
Today my Father and my God, as Your Ministers are gathered together; Please Lord be with us, Support us, Speak to us and just give everyone of us another Touch.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: “God will surprise you today”.
Let’s be seated.
Acts 5:14-16:
- And Believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.
- Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
- There came also a multitude out of the Cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
In your own Ministries from now on, incredible Miracles will be happening – Amen!
I will be very brief today and so be attentive because my children have a way of saying to me: Daddy, you must rest and then they will put real Programs one after another and then said rest now.
Thank God for Wisdom!
That’s why when I was turning 80 years Old, I decided that I will be sitting down because if you faint, the same children will be saying that we warned him to rest but he won’t listen.
We are going to talk briefly on the Anointing.
But let me just remind you – I am not just your father, I am your Coach.
I have told you before, your father by nature should be your friend but your Coach is not necessarily your friend.
Why? Because your friend is satisfied with you the way you are – That’s why you are friends: “Birds of the same feather, flocks together).
But your Coach is never satisfied with you because he knows that you can be better.
Thank you for the Good works you are doing in Canada.
And may I tell you the truth as your Coach; you are not anywhere near where you should be – I am telling you Point blank.
At the Ordination Service on Day 1, I was shocked because it is only then that I realised that wait a Minute o, the last time that I was here for Ordination, we could say well done.
But when I looked at the number of People to be Ordained as Deacons or Deaconesses – Ha, for a whole Nation? A Nation and not a Region.
So few Deacon/Deaconess, so few Assistant Pastors and so few Pastors – What is going on here?
I mean, there was a time that I was saying that the North Americas 1 (USA) has been holding you down. Then you became a Continent of your own and the secret came out.
The Bible Passage that I read to you says that: And Believers were the more added to the Lord, Multitudes both men and women (DMC NOTES: Acts 5:14).
Where are the Multitudes?
I want you to Promise me that you will wake up because I have very Great hopes concerning Canada.
I am always remembering that the first place that I ever left Europe for anywhere else in the world; I came to Canada first in 1975 – I didn’t come to Plant a Church but to attend World Conference of Applied Mathematicians. And you will hear quite a bit that Testimony on Day 3 – That has to do with Canada.
So I beg you like a father and I Command you as a Coach: You said that you want a Second Touch, show God that you mean business.
- When you read 1 Kings 19: 19-21, you read about how Elisha got the First Touch.
You know the Story – He was busy Ploughing and all of a sudden, the Mantle from Elijah fell on him.
During that First Touch, several things happened:
I. His Destiny in Life – Why God made him, was announced.
He discovered: I am not here to be a farmer, I wasn’t born to be a farmer
If you read the Story very well, Elijah didn’t said a word, he just threw his Mantle upon him and began to go.
And Elisha knew – Oh I see and he ran after Elijah: okay sir, Thanks for the Announcement but there is something I must do before I follow you as I must go and say bye bye to my Parents.
And Elijah said to him: That’s not a Problem, did I say anything to you?
He said that you didn’t say anything but you said a lot – You just informed me what is the Purpose of my Life.
The day that you are Ordained, an Announcement was made:
☆ Made to the Angels in Heaven.
☆ Made to all Human Beings on Earth who were Present at the occasion.
☆ Made even to the devil.
Because the day that you are Anointed, an Announcement went out – “Touch not my Anointed” because you are no longer the sane Person but different.
So, the day that you were Ordained, Announcement was made concerning your Destiny.
When I was in the University and they talked about the Budget of a Department, we always have a saying: They have highmarked so much for our usage.
The day that you get the First Touch, your Destiny has been announced.
II. And when that happens, whether you believed it or not; you immediately have a Change of Accommodation.
You may not know it but it automatically happened.
In 1 Samuel 16: 11-13, when David was Anointed to become a King, there was still a King on the Throne but an Announcement was made.
This boy was up till now a Shepherd Boy, he is going to be a King – His Destiny was announced.
But do you know that by the time you read the rest of 1 Samuel Chapter 16, he soon find himself living in the Palace because of the Madness that came to trouble the King.
You have to understand that God already said before David was Anointed that I have found a man after my own Heart.
There is something God has seen in him before He maneuvered everything and made him King.
David was then moved to the Palace because if you are going to be King, you have to learn a little bit of Royal Protocol.
Some of us has relocated to Canada because God needs Somebody like you for a time like this and therefore you are not here by Accident.
Some of you came here looking for Greener Pastures but before you are born, God has been waiting for you in Canada.
Nothing happens by Accident – The Bible made it clear: He knows the end from the beginning (DMC NOTES: Isaiah 46:10).
So some of you need to readjust your Mind – You are here to stay for the first Phase of your Life.
Because I don’t know your Plans as an Individual – You might be in Canada today and you might be in Iran tomorrow.
III. After that First Touch, there is something in you that will begin to manifest – It is the Leadership Potentials that God has Planted in you.
You suddenly begin to find it easy ti mentor People and to guide them.
You will suddenly discovered that you have the Ability to speak and People pay attention.
You have God investing in you the Ability to turn even Vagabonds to Vessels unto Honour.
For Example, in 1 Samuel 22: 1-2; the Bible said that David went to the Cave of Adullam.
And look at the People that gathered around him:
☆ Those who are Distressed.
☆ Those who are in Debt.
☆ Those who are having Problems.
They all gathered together around David.
People who say that they want to come and collect the money you owe me?
Then go and deal with David first! And they know that David was the one who killed Goliath.
But do you know what he did? He turned all those People to Mighty Men.
In 2 Samuel 23: 8-39, the Bible called them “Mighty Men of David”.
They were those People – The Vagabonds that David turned to Mighty Men.
Among them was a Warrior who is going to Prevent a Giant that wanted to kill David (DMC NOTES: The Mighty Warrior who saved David from a giant is Abishai. During a battle against the Philistines, an exhausted David was cornered by a giant named Ishbi-benob, who almost killed the king. Abishai rushed to his aid and killed the giant.This heroic rescue is recorded in the Bible in 2 Samuel 21:16-17).
It is my Prayer that among your children, the Almighty God will Provide you some who will help you achieve your Purpose – Amen).
In Summary, the First Touch:
☆ Announces your Destiny.
☆ Gives you a Change of Position.
☆ And then begin to use you to turn Ordinary mud to Vessels unto Honour.
- And then the Second Touch.
In the case of Elisha, when you read 2 Kings 2: 9-15, you will see several things
This is where Elijah said: Alright, I am going now and it is your turn. So what do you want?
Several things happened to Elisha:
I. His eyes were opened to see the Invincible.
And I am Praying that the Almighty God will open your eyes today or as you are reading now on the Label of DMC – Amen
And you will begin to see the Invincible – Amen
You will begin to see the Plan of God for Canada in the overall Plan of God for The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – Amen!
I have just finished a little more than an hour with the Teenagers and Young Adults and Youths (YAYA) – Watch Out for this Comprehensive Coverage of the Full Text of the Questions and Answers Session ONLY on the Label of DMC.
And there, I made it clear to them that among them are some People who will become Governors and one who will even become the Prime Minister.
And you must take my word for it because I am not the one saying it,
The Ability to see the Invincible: To see the Past, to see the Present and more importantly to see the Future!
II. Because if God can just show you what is coming, you will no longer Slow down.
When we talk about seeing the Invincible, the Bible says in Proverbs 20:22 – It says that the seeing eyes and the hearing ears, God made them.
When God opens your eyes as He did for Elisha that he was able to see the Forces of Fire and Chariots of Fire.
Some People wondered: Sir, why don’t you rest?
I have found those who don’t say that for the fun of saying so – I mean those who are genuinely concerned.
The truth of the matter is that you can see what you can see.
When we were growing, I know that I have an Assignment so big that I can’t afford to slow down.
You see, it is where I stopped, that is where you will begin!
And I have a duty to make sure that I take you far before you take over.
You see, the moment that I hand over; it will be your duty to run with the Vision.
And I have been able to say to God – You know that I am supposed to retire fourteen (14) years ago. The Retirement Age in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is seventy (70) years old – If you turn seventy (70) years old, you have tried.
And whether you believe it or not, from the Age of sixty (60) years old, I have started Preparing for my Retirement. There are Signs all over the world that I have started Planning for Retirement from the Age of sixty (60).
Few Months to seventy (70), God sent a Message – And when God knows that there are some Messages that won’t be Pleasant to my ears, He will send Somebody else.
And the fellow He sent was so Young – A girl that I know that this fellow can’t cook up what she was saying.
Tell him that if he will not listen to me that he can’t retire yet, I will blind him.
I am telling you: I don’t want to be blind.
God will open your eyes – Amen.
But several years before that, long before I became General Overseer, God opened my eyes:
We are going for Workers’ Meeting at Ebute Metta; at that time I was living at Adelabu Street in Surulere Lagos State Nigeria. And we dare not come late to Workers’ Meeting.
So, we are getting ready to go to Workers’ Meeting; I checked my time and realised that I have enough time to ease myself.
So, I went to the Toilet, shut the door and sat on the seat.
As I lifted up my eyes, behind the door was a big screen and it was a Church Service that was going on.
And I looked closely – This is the Church at Ebute Metta.
And as I looked, the Service was on and I looked at the Vestry, there are two (2) People there – The Preacher and the Interpreter and they were Praying Profuriously.
And then it got to a Stage and they announced the Song that will lead to the Preaching.
Then I saw the People in the Vestry closing Prayer and just as they were singing the last Verse of the Song, the two (2) of them came to the Altar and they took over the Service and Fire fell.
And then suddenly, the Screen was rolled away.
Then I realised that I was suppose to come here to ease myself.
I couldn’t keep it to myself; as soon as I came to Church, after the Service I went to Baba Akindayomi and told him what I saw.
Papa put his two (2) hands on his heads and said, Oh God.
Then he called two (2) or three (3) Pastors that we had then to come and he asked me to repeat what I just said and they all did the same thing: Oh, God!
I asked Baba Akindayomi what was the Problem? And he said that is how we used to do it when the Church started – Whenever Service is going on, the Preacher and Interpreter will be in the Vestry Praying and they will only come in when it is time to Preach.
How can you see what we are doing even before you became Member of the Church?
The Almighty God can open your eyes so that you can see the Past and of course so that you can see the Future.
So, I am Prayimg that during this Convention, you will have a Second Touch that will lead to your eyes being opened – Amen.
II. And then when God opened the eyes of Elisha and he saw Chariots of Israel and Forces of Fire and so on, and then the Mantle fell, he picked up the Mantle.
He suddenly realised that now, I have gotten what I wanted.
But I can’t swim and I am by the other side of Jordan. And where I am supposed to use the Power is on the other side of Jordan.
You know the Story – So he used the Mantle to smote River Jordan to clear out of his way because he needs to go back to where my Ministry is and start to fulfill my Destiny.
And when he called on the God of Elijah and he smote River Jordan the way his father did – Take Note of that.
He followed the example of his father to details – He rolled the Mantle before he smote River Jordan.
There are many of us who has been doing Ministry our own way!
We need to follow the examples of our fathers
Those children that I have just spoken to, one of their Question is: What is the Source of your Power?
I told them that if you want to have Power, just follow my example:
☆ Pray without ceasing.
☆ Fast – I know that there is Plenty of food here but you have to learn to tell your Stomach that you are not the Boss.
Somebody asked me: Are you still Fasting?
Ha, the closer you get to the Finishing Line, the more careful you must be.
But you told us that once you are over seventy (70) years old, you don’t need to bother anymore because afterall your Prayers after seventy (70) years old is a Local Call
Many of us who are over seventy (70) years old, you already have the Bording Pass and that you are just waiting for the Final Call.
And the Purpose of the Fasting is to quicken the flesh.
So, if the flesh is already weak, then you have killed yourself now.
When I ask you to Fast say for forty (40) days or something; and I say you can break daily or do it continuously.
How do I do my own? I may start the first week breaking daily just to readjust from the feeding of the New Year and then moved on to the Continuous Fasting.
Who told you that Fasting kills? It doesn’t.
This Young Man followed the Pattern of his father – Where is the Lord God of my father?
And that God answered – And so Jordan had to give way.
I Pray for everyone of you: Every Jordan blocking your way shall move out of the way today – Amen.
III. And then all of a sudden, Elisha who was one of the Sons of the Prophet became the father of the Sons of the Prophet.
I am Praying for you that from now on, you will not wear Title for Nothing – Amen.
The more you are Promoted, the more you will take care of those under you.
In 2 Kings 6: 1-7, it wasn’t long before the Son of Prophet went to Elisha and say: Sir, where we are is too small for us.
There are many of us Pastor In Charge of Areas, Pastor in Charge of Zones, Pastor in Charge of Provinces et cetera et cetera but we don’t even realised that is an Assignment that says look at the People under you.
If you ask some of the Younger Officers under you, it is because Jesus Christ said that you must love your Neighbours as yourself that is why they are Praying for you.
Why? Because they look at you, you aren’t caring.
☆ It is when you are able to take care and oversee an Area that you are made an Area Pastor.
☆ It is after you have Proved that you can handle a Zone that they will Promote you,
You are Promoted for a Purpose and not for Title sake
The Grace to take care of those People under you so that they can Pray for you from the bottom of their Heart, may God give it to you – Amen.
Let us quickly go to Peter:
- Peter got the First Touch of Anointing in Acts 2: 1-end.
I. On the Day of Pentecost, he Stood Out – He was the only one that Preached.
First Touch and then Peter began to Preach!
II. After Preaching and Peter getting a lot People saved, about a couple of days later, he healed the Lame Man at the Beautiful Gate.
He started by laying on hands.
It was still the First Touch doing this.
I know that Somebody will tell you: You don’t need to know how to Perform Miracles and know how to heal People; to be a true Minister of God – And they will give you a very good Bible Quotation to make an excuse.
I have told you before and I am saying it again: “Only Failures make excuses.
Why have you not been Performing Miracles?
Ha, is it not written that John The Baptist Performed no Miracle?
Good Excuse!
And yet, he was called the Greatest of Men born of a woman.
So, I don’t have to Perform a Miracle to be regarded as Great – Very good excuse.
Excellent, but the Bible added that those of you who are the least in the Kingdom of Heaven and who got Born Again are Greater than John The Baptist – That is what the Bible says (DMC NOTES: Matthew 11:11).
To say oh no that is reason why I have not been able to Perform Miracles is because John the Baptist didn’t do any; it is a good Sign that you are a Failure.
You must cry to God before this Convention is over: The Grace to be able to Perform Miracles, Father give it to me.
One of those Young Adults that I have just finished with say: Some People will Pray for hours and nothing will happen; then the General Overseer will Pray for 2 Minutes and something will happen, why?
Are they willing to Pay the Price?
Many of you think that you can get things done without the Holy Spirit and Praying – It doesn’t work that way.
I told them that every week of the Monthly Holy Ghost Service, by the Tuesday of the week, I go into my Prayer Closets.
And you know what? During that Period, even my wife can’t come there to see me.
We will greet ourselves in the Night – Hello my dear, how has the day been? God bless you.
That’s on Tuesday’s Night and Wednesday’s Night and then on Thursday, we will meet at the Holy Communion Service.
And when the Holy Communion is over, I go back to my office – I attend to some big People that wants to see me and as soon as they go, I go back to Prayers.
Even though there are People who are going to Pray All-Night but for them to know that if I asked them to go and Pray, I don’t go to Sleep; when they are rounding up at 3am, I go there to round up for them.
So they will say: “That’s him”; we are not alone in the Prayers.
That’s why those boys and girls who has been Volunteering, has been doing that now more than thirty (30) years now.
Because they know that the one that says “Go and Pray” is also Praying.
If there is any reason whatsoever that I won’t be there because of one thing or the other, then I tell their boss in Advance – If you don’t see me by 5 Minutes after 3am (3,05am), you know that I am not coming.
That happens maximum two (2) times in a Year.
So in the Presence of the Almighty God, waiting for Friday, He will Prepare the way so that when I stand by the Altar and I say: “Oh thus said the Lord”; its because the Battery has been Charged,
Many of you go to Preach without Prayers.
Many of you don’t Fast for the Sunday Service.
You need to know who you are working for – He says if you draw near me, I will draw near you (DMC NOTES: James 4:8).
You are a Special People, Chosen by God and you are not suppose to be Ordinary.
Anyway: First Touch, Peter began to Preach – One Sermon brought in thousands into the Church.
- And then they arrested him for healing the Lame Man and they called him out and charged them – By whose Authority are you doing this? Whose name are you using?
Finally, they released him.
As soon as they released him according to Acts 4: 23-31, they went to the other Brethrens where thry were – They reported what happened, they Prayed together and then the Fire fell the Second Time.
The first time that I read that Passage, I said what is going on? I thought you said that they were all filled with the Holy Spirit in Acts Chapter 2?
And here again (Acts 4: 23-31), you said that they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
What is the difference between filled of of the first time in Acts Chapter 2 and filled the second time in Acts Chapter 4?
That is when the Lord explained to me that the Holy Spirit is just like an Air.
… And we are now talking about tyres:
When you are Pumping a tyre, it gets to a Stage where they say that it is enough.
So the amount of Air that gets to a car’s tyre is not the same amount of Air that goes to a truck’s tyre because the load that they are going to carry is different.
And then when you want to inflate the tyre of an Aeroplane, because I am sure that you have a rough idea of the load that an Aeroplane can carry – The weight of the Aeroplane multipled by the Square of the Speed.
DMC NOTES: The above formula is related to Aerodynamic Lift and Dynamic Pressure.
So when you have an Aeroplane, say A320 (DMC NOTES: The Airbus A320 is the world’s most successful and popular single-aisle commercial jet family, renowned for revolutionizing modern aviation. Introduced in the late 1980s by Airbus, it was the first commercial aircraft to pioneer digital fly-by-wire technology, replacing traditional mechanical flight controls with electronic systems to improve safety and fuel efficiency), that without any oil in the tank, it weighs something enormous. And then you load it and then it becomes heavier).
And when it is about to land, it comes to the Terminal between 400 to 500 Km/Hr – And I am telling you, that is tremendous speed.
By the time the Plane touches the Terminal, the impact is horrible.
That is why when they are making the Tarmac, they make sure that the ground is several metres deep; otherwise one landing will cracked it.
The Plane comes down heavily and then began to go at horrible speed and the Pilot will apply full brakes and put the engine in reverse to help the brakes to stop this giant.
And you know what? The tyre will say “Is that all you can do”?
Why? Because of the Air.
If you will prepare yourself so that it will come to us as it is written: Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (DMC NOTES: 1 John 4:4); then you wil, have the Ability to handle heavier Assignments.
I. When Peter got the second dose of Fullness – the Fullness in Acts Chapter 2 different from the Fullness of Acts Chapter 4; he moved to a New Level of Ministry.
The next time he demonstrated Power, he killed two (2) People in one day (Husband and wife) for lying (DMC NOTES: The Story of Ananias and Sapphira is found in Acts Chapter 5).
The first time he healed, after the Second Touch, he killed).
Your Churches will not be full if rubbish is allowed into it after you get the Second Touch.
Sir, have you killed before? Me! No o.
But you have heard the Testimony of one Senator somewhere near here who said he hated me and the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) because we are just building Churches all over America. And said that there is Church built near his house and said that the Church will never be opened – He said over my dead body.
And we have already picked the date of Dedication.
And so my children Phoned me and say: Daddy, one big Man says that we will never open the Church. He said that the Church will never be opened, over his dead body.
What are we going to do now? Shall we go to Court because here they respected the Court?
I said that there is no need as he has already Pronounced his own Death Sentence
What are we going to do?
I said don’t worry yourself, the date we have fixed is already fixed and by the Grace of God, we are dedicating the Church.
And then they are going to meet to get Permissions to get to block us. And he was going to the Meeting of the Neighbours that we must not allow this thing to happen.
He was about to dress – He put one leg in one of the trousers leg and then somehow the second leg he put it where the first leg is and the leg got stucked.
And he was trying to pull out the second leg and he fell and knock his head against something.
By the time he got to the Hospital, he was Pronounced dead,
I didn’t kill him ooo!
And then, you now see what finally happened – He got to a Stage where his Shadows began to heal.
I am Praying for you that after this Convention, your Shadow will heal because you will get a Second Touch.
Let me close by referring you to 1 Corinthians 2:5.
I think that you should help me thank God that I obeyed Him – That is why at 84 years, I can still read without Glasses.
And I am Praying for all of you with any eye Problem, as you get the Second Touch, every Problem(s) with your eyes will vanish – Amen.
I have told you the Story:
Several years ago at the Holy Ghost Service, God said that there are some People in the crowd who has not been able to touch their toes for years – call them out as I want to heal them.
Oh Thank You Lord – And I called them out.
I thought that He was going to say: Lay hands on them or slap their back but He said “Dance round them”.
Dance? What will I say that I am dancing about?
Am I rejoicing that their back is aching?
But I know who is speaking.
The Ability to hear God clearly, may the Almighty God give you – Amen.
So I told the Drummers to begin to beat the drum and I danced round them for 2 minutes.
Then I told them: Bend, touch your toes and they were all healed.
I am not saying that my Shadow can heal the Sick but I believed that your Shadow can do the same.
The Passage that I am to read to you says: Covet earnestly the best Gifts (1 Corinthians 2:5)..
The only Place in the Bible where God approved covetousness is when you are asking for Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
PERSONAL PRAYER REQUEST
So, if you will cry to Him and say: I want a Second Touch in my Ministry and by Your Grace, I wil, pay Price.
He will answer you.
I am believing God for at least for Canada – That from now on, before you Call, God will answer you.
So, I want you to Pray to God even if it is for 2 Minutes.
And say: God, I am your Servant – Son or Daughter, Please give me a Second Touch as I want to do wonders for you.
The Bible says that God Performed Special Miracles by the hands of Paul – Please help me Oh Lord and give me a Second Touch.
Please help me a Second Touch.
Thank You Father!

CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, I can’t Thank You enough for giving this wonderful People – People that you have raised to lift up my hands.
Father, I cry to You today; give them a Second Touch.
All the Manifestations that must come in the Ministry of Someone who has received a Second Touch, give unto them.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!!!
