OPENING PRAYER
Almighty God: The God of Moses, the God of Joshua, the God of Caleb, the God of Peter, the God of Paul; the Everlasting God, the God who can never fail – We Worship You!
Accept our Worship in Jesus Name.
Lord, Please all Your Children who are listening to us Tonight or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC; don’t let us fall by the way side.
Help us all the way and help us to make it to Heaven.
Giants or no Giants; Please let us make it to Heaven.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let Someone shout Halleluyah – Halleluyah!
Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: God will bless you.
And then say: Neighbour, I love you but tonight, my Blessings will be Greater than yours!
We greet all our friends that are listening to us from whatever Nations of Europe that you are listening from inclusive those of us that are Privileged to be reading the Message now on the Label of DMC.
I am delighted to be with you again this Year and I thank God for your lives.
We have been talking of fifty (50) years of Marriage – You can’t be together for fifty (50) years without knowing each other a little better.
Don’t deceive yourselves into thinking that after marrying yourselves for ten (10) years or fifteen (15) years; you already know your Partner.
I think that you will begin to know your Partner Probably after you have become married for some fifty (50) years.
Then you will begin to know – That is the truth.
One of these days, I will have the opportunity to talk to you about “The Secrets of Longetivity in Marriage”.
Nobody knows who he/she is marries – It is there in the Bible.
This Man served for seven (7) years without Salary so that he could marry the fellow he wanted to marry.
The Wedding Day came; he was so intoxicated with Love that he did not even check the face of the fellow that he married.
The following Morning, he said: Ha!
I have a Book – If you haven’t gotten it, then you need to get it: ” THE MATHEMATICS OF MARRIAGE”.
Equation No 1: Love is Blind.
Equation No 2: Marriage is a Miracle Worker with Special Anointing for opening Blind Eyes.
You solve those two (2) Equations together Simultaneously; the answer is Simple:
Love may make you Blind but Marriage will help you open your eyes again.
Glory be to God – Halleluyah!
I am telling you that I am married to the Greatest woman in the world.
But I am still knowing her and she is still knowing me.
Today, we want to talk about: “The many Blessings of being a Worker”.
Daniel 12:2-3:
- And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
- And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
This Month, the Lord instructed us to treat the Topic: “Beyond Expectations”.
If you are a Worker in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), it is assumed automatically:
☆ That you are a Soul Winner
☆ That you turn People to Righteousness
☆ That you just keep on winning Souls
☆ That you keep on establishing Churches.
- And this Bible Text that we just read (Daniel 12: 2-3) says that one of the Blessings that you get that you don’t even think about is that you will Shine.
You may not know it because if you are Shinning, it is others who will observe your Shinning.
That is why I always find it ridiculous when some People – Beautiful Girls created by the Greatest Artist in the world, unique with Nobody like you; will still spend hours before the mirror trying to improve on what the Master Artist had created – You can’t do a better job than God.
And the Bible tells us that Solomon in all his Glory and with all his Pleasures is not even like an ordinary flower (DMC NOTES: Matthew 6: 28-29 and Luke 12:27).
And the Almighty God says that you will Shine.
Why are you trying to paint a rose?
If you can’t make a rose more beautiful then you are wasting your time!
Forgive me, I am talking to only my children – It is on occasion like this that I have the freedom to say what I am saying because you are my children.
We have by the Grace of God, the largest Mass Choir in the world – They are based in Lagos.
And Someone who isn’t a Member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) asked me: Is beauty a Pre-condition for joining your Choir? I said no, why did you say so?
He said look at all of them – They are more than ten thousand (10,000) and they are all very beautiful.
Then I said to him – Have you noticed that none of them wear Make-Up? He said that is true o.
I said that what you see is God’s Beauty – It is Glory.
Think about this – Many of you in an attempt to show to the world how beautiful you are; you show to the Maker of Heaven and Earth how Stupid you are.
God made you short, you say that why have You not made me tall? You think that He didn’t know what He is going?
God made you as an African Lady for example and all the Angels knows that when it comes to the African Lady; they have short black hairs.
And then, you go and look at yourself and you say: Oh, why didn’t you make me an Indian Lady? And so you spend I don’t know how much to get a hair Somebody who has been bowing down to one idol or the other somewhere. And you buy her hair and put it on your Head.
And some of you even went as far as painting your Head red – Come on!
Do you want me to say the truth as it is? Yes sir, for the DMC Family Members – They that turn Men to Righteousness shall Shine.
Shine how? The Bible says that they will Shine like the Firmament.
Go out at Night – Look into the Heavens and see the beauty of the Stars!
And God sys that they are not Shinning like you – You Shine Brighter.
He even went further to say in Proverbs 4:18 – He said that your Path will be like the Shinning Star that Shine Brighter and Brightee till the Perfect Day,
I am not the one that wrote that – That was written concerning you.
That is how you are to be!
The older you grow, the more you shine – That is the Plan of God!
Just for winning Souls, the Almighty God said that your Glory will just keep on dazzling!
- And then according to John 15:5; when you are a Worker in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); you will be winning Souls and Planting Churches.
And then Jesus Christ Himself said in John 15:5 – He said that I didn’t call you Servants.
He said that because the Servant doesn’t know what the Master is doing; He said that I have called you friends.
Ha, Jesus Christ called me a friend?
Somebody wrote a Song along that line that Jesus Christ has called me a friend.
I met one of my friends out there (one of you) but he is my friend and he knows that he is my friend.
You know, he went out there to go and cornered me where we can meet.
As soon as I saw him, he saw that my face brightened – How are you my friend?
If I get up from this seat and I walk here and there and I get to your side and I say how are you my friend? Everybody around you will look at you.
You know that I came to London and with all the Churches here your Boss wanted me to go to a Place. I said that on so, so Sunday, I am going to the Church of my friend – I didn’t even let him finished.
Because it just occurred to me that it has been a long time that I visited my friend last.
How will you feel if the Almighty God decides tonight that I am coming to your house to eat?
Why? Because He is your friend now.
And yet, if you are a Soul Winner, Jesus Christ will call you my friend.
I told you that years ago, I was the first Person that started calling God “My Daddy” in Nigeria – I don’t know whether Somebody else started before me somewhere else.
And the other Men of God said what is wrong with you? Why are you calling God Daddy? Do you think that God is just an ordinary Human Beings?
I said no quarrel – He is your Father but He is my Daddy.
And now all of a sudden, all of them call Him Daddy o.
For God to look at you and say that you are my friend, how I wish that you will understand!
And then He went on to say that because you are my friend, anything that God tells me, I can tell you.
There are Prophets and there are Prophets.
I tell People that I am not a Prophet but I do hear from God once in a while.
How many of you will like to hear from God on a regular basis? The DMC Family Members!
Win Souls, be a Soul Winner and He will call you His friend and He will begin to tell you things!
- And then like Mummy GO told us, He choose us – God will choose us.
To be chosen by God of all the Millions?
Many of us don’t appreciate the fact that God has given us the opportunity to be Workers!
There are many People who will want to be Workers in the Vineyard of God and God just won’t have them.
There are some People who wants to just be winning Souls for God and God says that not you – I don’t want you.
And there is nothing as terrible as Volunteering and not being accepted.
I have told you the Story before of a very Wealthy Man who joined the Church at a time when Oh God that we were so Poor. And we have one Amplifier and from time to time, we had to slap it before it works.
… And I mean slap it – We have a Man in Charge of slapping the Amplifier.
And then a very rich Man just joined the Church. He came in one day in “Flowing Agbada” and he bought State-of-the-Art Amplifier and all the good, good things that will make the work easy.
He said: Pastor, I have bought these for God.
And God spoke loud and clear: Tell him to take his Equipments away as I don’t want it.
I tell you the truth; I nearly said: Get thee behind me satan; at long last I have something that will make my work easy.
But I knew who spoke.
So I went to the Man and said: Sorry sir, God told me that you should take away your Equipments as He doesn’t want them.
He said what? I said that I am not the one who said so because I want them. But if I take what He doesn’t want and His Spirit leaves the Church, I will be downfall.
He went to the Pillar of the Church and began to bang his head to the Pillar – God rejected my Gift? That means He has rejected me.
I had never seen bigger sorrow than that and I Prayed that I will never see it – Amen!
How terrible will it be if you will go to God and you tell Him: Lord, I learnt that there are so many Churches empty in this Town and I want to buy ten (10) of them for you? And He said: Take your Money and go, I don’t want!
Ha, it will not happen to you – Amen!
And yet, the Bible says that: Many are called but few are Chosen (DMC NOTES: Matthew 22:14).
And you go about being arrogant saying: “I am a Worker in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Do you think that without you, God will not do His works?
Why don’t you stop deceiving yourself?
I remembered years ago – I think that it has to do with Festival of Life Program when your Boss here said: If you will come early at the Program, there will be tea.
I said what? You are begging People to come to Workers’ Meeting? I took the Microphone and I said: Don’t come if I have to bribe you to attend a Worker’s Meeting then stay away – You can’t be a Worker in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
I hear that when you People are holding Programs – I hope that has stopped; that you pay the Ushers. I heard it before and I know it is not anymore.
Do you know the meaning of anymore?
You want them to pay you for serving God?
When I got Born Again, I was taught I was Somebody on my way to Heaven and they told me that I was heading to Hell.
What can I do Oh Lord to show my appreciation?
And we were building our first Church at Ebute Metta and we have to carry sawdust to fill the Marshy Ground (DMC NOTES: A Marshy Ground is a land that is completely saturated with water; often forming wetland/swamp).
I was a Lecturer in the University and I looked for the biggest basket to join in the carrying of sawdust.
And then there was go-slow in Lagos and one of my Students in the University saw many cars branching to the Church and he thought that everybody was dodging the go-slow and so he followed them.
And then he saw me with the sawdust on my head – He said: Ha Oga! Is that you?
I said who is Oga when I am thanking God that I had an opportunity – Something to do to show to God my Gratitude for saving my Soul.
You have an opportunity to be a Worker in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – Instead of saying: Lord I Thank You, what other ways can I serve You?
You are in the Choir and you want to be Paid for the One who gave you a Voice? Ha, come on!
But God says: “I accept you” – I accept your voice and I accept your Ability to Play the Organ because He could say: “Get away”.
They don’t have to have an Organist for the Music to reach Heaven.
How many Musicians do you know in Nigeria? They are Plenty.
How many Musicians do you know that are in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG)? They are many.
But only one followed me throughout the world – Pastor Kunle Ajayi.
How was he Chosen out of the so many?
Years ago, there was a Man who has a Church and he was a rich Man.
And everybody knew that this Young boy who was just coming up, was Good. And that Man called him and said: Hey, come to my Church and be Playing for me and I will be payung you ten thousand dollars ($10,000) Per Month.
At that time, ten thousand dollars ($10,000) and even now ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to a small boy is very much.
He said that I can’t leave my Daddy.
I heard that and said: Is that so? You rejected ten thousand dollars ($10,000) because of me? He said that wherever you go, I will go.
I said that in that case, as God lifts me up; you will be going up with me.
May I tell you: There is no Embassy in Nigeria that will not say: Hey Kunle, come in.
If I want to travel to any Place, I will just tell him: Son, I will be going to somewhere like this at this time. And he will say: Yes Daddy.
I don’t know the details but he is my Visa Officer – Doors opened for him.
Why? Because God looked down from Heaven and saw Somebody who wants to use the Gift God has given him to serve Him.
I Pray for Somebody here Today or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC: When God is looking for just one fellow, He will choose you- Amen!
- And then because you win Souls and because God has Chosen you; He made you a Promise – He said that Greater Works than He did, you will do also.
Many of you don’t believed that.
But in John 14: 12-14, He said: Just believe me – Be my own Assistant, keep on winning Souls and keep on Planting Churches; the works that I did, you shall do also and Greater works than this shall you do.
He didn’t say that you have to become General Overseer before you can raise the dead?
No, from the time that you are a Worker; you are more than qualified.
Each time that I think of Someone like Apostle Paul – That Great Soul Winner and Church Planter.
☆ You get to Philippi, you will find his Church there.
☆ You get to Rome, he is there.
You get to Galatia, he is there.
And then it is written about him in Acts 19: 11-12 – The Bible says that God Performed Special Miracles (Not Ordinary ones) by the hand of Paul.
Such that he will just sit down and they will say that Somebody is sick and he will say that I am busy right now as I want to write a Letter to the Colossians. But in the meantime, take my Handkerchiefs.
Demons will see his Handkerchief coming and run.
I am telling you: What can you compare to that?
A Worker was going for Soul Winning in Akure (DMC NOTES: Akure is Capital City of Ondo State) – It was once in the News and I am sure that some of you heard it on the News.
And she saw Somebody who has been Lame only God knows for how long. She just went to him and say: Hey, get up. And then the fellow jumped up and began to walk.
She saw Someone who was a Leper sitting down in one corner – Hey, be Clean.
It took the Police to rescue her from the crowd.
… A Worker o and not a Minister!
And God is not a respecter of Person – Whatever He has done for Someone, He can do for you too.
Make good use of the Great opportunity that you have that you are a Worker!
What God has in stock for you is more than you can ever imagined.
I mean of all the Testimonies that I have heard of Workers doing what God did and much more; I can count so many.
I knew that some of them you will find it difficult to believe but I believed that God is leading me to share this because you might be the next Person whose Testimony we will be Sharing – Amen!
TESTIMONY NO 1: A lady was taking her Sister who got Born Again through her from a Muslim family to a Hospital because she was about to deliver and it looks as if it was looking difficult.
So she put her in a Taxi rushing her to the Hospital and ran into the usual traffic jam. While they were in the car, the woman died.
And she said that I am already in trouble with the family because I converted her from Muslim to Christian; now what am I going to do now as this lady is dead. And the traffic wasn’t even moving.
And then she remembered that there was an Handkerchief that Daddy has blessed and she has it with her.
Then she put the Handkerchief on the Lady and the Lady came back to Life.
You have heard some of these Testimonies before. But I am telling you again now, so that you don’t downplay yourself – Do know that God has a Plan for your Life!
TESTIMONY NO 2: There was a Sister that her friend has a Breast Cancer and they took her to the Hospital and they admitted her.
By the time she arrived at the Hospital, they have cut off her Breast.
And she said that the devil is a liar – She took the Handkerchief that we had blessed, laid it on her chest, Prayed a small Prayer and then left.
I think that it was about two (2) weeks later that she went back for another visit and another brand new Breasts had grown.
You may say that maybe that kind of Miracle happened only in Africa – The God in Africa is the same as the God in Europe.
It is not a Question of where but a Question of who! – The Person who took the Handkerchief believed that God will work.
My God doesn’t lie – He is no respecter of Person.
TESTIMONY NO 3: I remembered years ago when I was visiting America when we were still very small.
My friends in America always asked me a Question when they hear of what God is doing – They always say: What can we do to help you? Because they expected that anyone who comes to America from Africa was coming to beg for Dollars.
And I always say to them: You want to know what you can do for me? Come and visit me.
Why? So that God can enlarge your Vision and so that He can show you that the God in America is the God in Nigeria – That’s all.
Leave me with Him – He is more than Sufficient.
How many of you believed that God is more than Sufficient and that He is all that you need? The DMC Family Members!
Then face the work of Soul Winning – Continue to do the work of a Worker diligently and He will show you His Mercy!
- If you are a Worker and you are doing what He expects you to do as a Worker; He can Promote you rapidly.
Without talking about Somebody like David – Maybe we will talk about David during the Ordination Service. That is if God wants us to talk along that line.
But let us talk about Someone in the New Testament – And let us talk about Philip.
Philip was a Worker – It is we who called him Deacon; he was a Worker.
Because they said that they should look among the People and Choose (DMC NOTES: Acts 6: 1-6).
And among the People when they looked, they saw that there is this boy, his name is Philip – Let’s make him one of the People who will be serving the Table.
And then, He became a Deacon.
And then he said that I will continue to work for God and so he went to Samaria and Preached – He didn’t ask for Ordination (DMC NOTES: Acts 8: 5-8).
And then he moved on and met the Man who was coming to Africa (DMC NOTES: Acts 8: 26-40).
Somebody was showing us sometimes ago that Christianity got to Africa years before it got to Europe when they said that Europeans brought Christianity to Africa – Maybe if they say they brought it to Nigeria, they may be right but Christianity got to Ethiopia before it got to London through Philip.
And he was the first fellow to be called “The Evangelist”.
He was a Worker – Then he became a Deacon and then become an Evangelist. He just kept on being Promoted!
What was his Action? Witnessing and Winning Souls – That’s all that He did!
And do you know the most beautiful thing about Philip which I want you to Please and Please keep deep in your Heart? It was that he has a Great Legacy!
He gave birth to four (4) daughters and they were all Prophesying (DMC NOTES: Acts 21:9).
I don’t want to be a Pastor and I have my children serving the devil – God forbid!
I am sure that the most important thing to you in Life is: How do I end? What do I leave behind?
Just be Faithful in Winning Souls and it will be written of you that he has six (6) children and they all served God!
How am I going to end? It all depends on how Faithful a Worker am I.
There are several other things that I can talk about but there is no time.
- And I want to tell you one thing that I love seriously.
It is a Statement that Jesus Christ made in Matthew 10:32 – He said that if you confess me before Men, I will confess you before my Father which is in Heaven.
I didn’t understand that as a Younger Christian until an Elderly Pastor revealed what Jesus Christ was actually saying.
He said that Jesus Christ said that: If you introduce me to Men, then I will introduce you to my Father which is in Heaven!
How happy will you be if Somebody will come to you and say that I will introduce you to the King? I will arrange a Private Meeting between you and the King!
You are not going to ask the King for anything o – You don’t want to be a Knight or whatsoever but you just want to have the honour of being alone with the King. The Cameraman is there taking the Pictures.
You get to Heaven – And I know that you will make it there in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!
And then Jesus Christ came looking into the midst of the People – Remember that all the Saints and all those who had ever been Christians will be there watching – And Jesus Christ came into the crowd, grab you by the hand and said follow me.
And then He takes you to God the Father, He takes you to the Ancient of Days and He takes you to the All-Sufficient God; with all the Creations watching.
And then He said to His Father: This fellow my Beloveth Daddy, is a friend of mine!
… I will introduce you to my Father!
☆ You may never become a General Overseer because there can be only one General Overseer at a time.
☆ You may never even become a Pastor.
God does not work by Titles – There are so many Pastors who has never raised the dead.
As a Worker, a time could come that Somebody dies, they will come to your house and they told the People that you have travelled.
And they will say that when are you returning? You say in five (5) days time. And the People will say: No Problem, we won’t take the Body for burial because we know him/her that the works Jesus Christ did, he/she can do it also.
And then you can come back and they are not disappointed.
That is coming but it is up to you.
And all He is asking you to do is:
I. To Witness Him to Men.
II. To Testify of Him before Men.
III. To Confess Him to Men.
IV. To Introduce Him to Men.
And when you get to Heaven, you will get a surprise waiting for you.
In the crowd, He will choose some and take them to His Father – With the Angels watching, the Choir in Heaven stopping for a moment and waiting for what is going to happen.
And then the Lord Jesus Christ said: Daddy, there is Someone that I want to talk to You about – You see this boy/girl; when others were afraid to mention Your Name, He kept on Witnessing and Introducing me to the High and Low.
Oh, he/she is one of the People they called Workers in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – I just feel that he/she deserved Special attention and mention.
PREAMBLE TO PERSONAL PRAYERS
Now, I am going to ask you to think a little before you Pray.
The Lord has never forgotten the fact that He is the One who choose you. You are the One who found Him – I didn’t find You because You are not lost.
I was the one who was lost and I was heading for Hell but for one reason or the other; you saved my Soul.
And You didn’t stop there; You made me a Worker in a Mission that they are just crazy about winning Souls.
And I became a Worker there.
And You put me under one Old Man who can never stop talking about winning Souls and Planting Churches everytime that he comes.
Apart from “Be ye Holy”; the next thing that he will say is “Win Souls”.
This is one of those People who kept on winning Souls, Planting Churches even in Places where they say it is not easy to do so.
He is one of those People that says that “I don’t care, there might be Giants on the way” and “I don’t care if they say that we can’t take the Land”.
He is one of those who say that: “Even if it is me alone; Jesus Christ shall be Lord again in this Land again”.
So Daddy, I just want to introduce him to You Specially that is coming.
But will you be the one?
Shall we bow our Heads Please!
PERSONAL PRAYER REQUEST
I want you to Thank the Almighty God that He saved your Soul.
Thank the Almighty God that He brought you one way or the other to this Mission.
Thank the Almighty God that you are a Worker in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Thank Him that you have the opportunity to be Introducing Jesus Christ to the High and Low; Great and Mighty.
Just go ahead to Thank Him!
And then you say: Lord, Please I know that You have Chosen me, don’t let Somebody else replaces me – Let me be Faithful till the very End.
From now on, let me begin to Shine for You – Shinning Brighter and Brighter until the Final Day when the Sun will never Set.
Thank You Father!

Even as you have Prayed, so shall it be done to you.
The Almighty God will grant your Request(s).
