OPENING PRAYER
Almighty God, the Ancient of Days, the I Am that I Am, the All-Sufficient One – We Worship You.
We Thank You for the Salvation of our Souls,
We Thank You for keeping us in Your Love,
We Thank You for Your Wisdom, Your Support and Your Mercy that has kept us so that we are not consumed.
Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.
Today in the few Minutes that we have::
Please speak to us, do something New in our lives and do something New in Your Church.
Let this Day be a Day that we will never forget for Good.
Let it be well with us.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let Somebody shout Halleluyah – Halleluyah!
Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: God bless you.
And then of course, you may be seated.
It is always a Pleasure seeing so many of you.
I am always Praying that if the Lord tarries; we will see you again in Good Health, in Joy, in Peace and definitely on the side of the Lord – Amen.
You will Pray and say: Lord, enlarge my Coast.
You are Praying the most dangerous Prayer of all because the more children you have, the more your Blessings..
The more the number of mouths that you must feed, the more the shouting you must enjoy in your house.
And so if your house is always quiet, it means that you need Prayers that the Almighty God will fill your house with a shouts of children.
I am going to be very brief with you Tonight – This is supposed to be Introduction to the Worker’s Rally.
Daniel 11:32:
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
As I travel round the world and as I visit Countries upon Countries, they usually request for Minister’s Conference among the Ministers in the Land and not just for my children.
And I have always said to them that it is better if you Ministerrs ask Questions so that I will give you the answers because most of the times that I Preached, my Sermon may not be exactly what you want – It may not meet your Needs.
… Ask Questions and then I will answer. Then we will know that I am addressing your Needs.
Almost without exceptions, their Questions had always been: Tell us your Secret – How do you become what you have become? What is your Secret?
Not Theory now – Just tell us what happened from where you started to where you are now.
After a while, I discovered that when I discussed with my own children, we really never addressed that Question.
And so I felt that I should tell you a little bit about that Question.
Of course automatically, I won’t be able to tell you all but maybe if the Lord wants us to come another time; we might continue from wherever we stopped today.
… They that do know their God shall be Strong and do Exploits.
Anyone who is going to succeed in Ministry must know that God has Fundamentals!
And what I have done in my own little years of working with Him is trying to know Him.
And that will cause you to understand why Somebody like Apostle Paul says: “All I have, I willingly let it go; that I may know Him” (DMC NOTES: Philippians 3:10).
… I just want to know Him.
And the one that is saying that I may know Him was already an Apostle.
So, if you think that as a Continental Overseer that you already know Him; come again.
The secret that I discovered long time ago before I became a Christian is that the more you think that you know; the less you really know.
By the time that I became Born Again, I was already a Lecturer in the University – I thought that I knew Mathematics.
But I was in the Category of the Mathematics Students that you called “Special Honours Students” in those days – I don’t know of nowadays.
In those days in Nigeria, when you are in the University, most of the time, to get the money to go to the University; you need the help of a Secondary School to sponsor you because majority of our Parents don’t have the money to pay the School fees.
And the Secondary Schools are not looking for Somebody who knows just one Subject – The more Subjects you know, the better it is for them because all the knowledge that you have that they want is enough to cause Secondary School Students to pass.
So we have three Categories (3) of Undergraduates:
I. The one that we call “General Degree” – That is Somebody who Studies three (3) Subjects in the University (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
… So just one Man who satisfies the Needs of the Secondary School.
They don’t want three (3) Graduates that requires so much money and he is teaching only one Subject.
II. And then the big Schools like King’s College or Government College; because they take you in the Secondary School beyond just School-Sat, they want Teachers who can teach two (2) Subjects very well – Physics and Chemistry; Physics and Mathematics etc.
They called them “Combined Honours Students”,
These People are Stronger People because they will study two (2) Subjects to a deeper level than those that Study three (3) Subjects.
III. And then, there are those who studies just one Subject – They called them “Single Honours Degree Students”.
I was a Single Honours Mathematics Student and so we look down on other Students studying Cimbined Honours Degree or General Degree.
And then one day in my Final Year, Special Honours Students; I just strolled into the room where the Lecturers relax – A kind of Green Room for Lecturers and then I got in and the only thing that you see along their walls are books.
So I saw one book in Mathematics titled: “Introduction to so, so, so” and I picked it up. And I went through the entire first Page and I couldn’t understand anything.
Ha, Special Honours Final Year Student? Dealing with Introduction to and not the real thing o!
Suddenly I discovered that I knew nothing.
Some of you think that you know God, welcome!
… They that do know their God shall be Strong and do Exploits.
How many of you will like to do Exploits for God? The DMC Family Members!
- The first thing that you need to know about God is: Let Him introduce Himself.
Genesis 17 1, He says: I am Jehovah El-Shaddai, I am the Almighty God.
That is the first time when God introduced Himself to many.
And according to the Law of Priority, whatever is uppermost in your Mind is what you are likely to say first when you are introducing yourself to Somebody.
Who is God?
The Almighty God – The One who is Sufficient for everything.
The One who could say in Philippians 4:19 – My God shall Supply all your Needs according to His Riches in Glory in Christ Jesus.
That is my God!
I was talking to some of my children just before I came here – You People have a lot of Resources already,
When I became General Overseer, I have the Headquarters and thirty nine (39) small Branches – God handed that over to me and said: Take over the world.
To be able to say “Yes Lord”; I must know that the One who is talking to me is the All-Sufficient God – Please let this sink in o!
Because God has given you all things that you have now – You can even ask “Ai” (Artificial Intelligence) to write your Sermon.
Right or wrong? It will even quote Bible Passages for you.
At the beginning, when I come and I say to the few of you who are here that we are going to take over United Kingdom.
What do we have? Nothing except one lady that myself and my daughter over there are trying to remember her name — She was the one who introduced us to one Anglican Church along Marylebone Street. That is what we had.
We didn’t even have a Microphone – What do we need Microphone for? We are only five (5) in Number.
But we were confident that we will take over the Land.
Why? Because at least one of us believed that we are serving a God who is All-Sufficient.
So if you have any doubt at all that you can take over the entire Europe, Please get it out because we are People of Faith.
You may not know why this Place is called Central Office – It is out of Faith – We sat down and thought of a Place where you need only one flight to reach the end of the world and we concluded that it is London (Central Office).
We were Prophesying despite having nothing.
We believed that we can use Classrooms, use Supermarkets and use anywhere and start a Church.
Well, here we are today!
I want you to take this one deep into your Heart – If God leaves me with myself and family alone, I can Plant enough Churches to cover this Land.
Take that deep and don’t take it as a joke because if you are walking with this God that I know, He will help you.
You know that we have forgotten the name of the Lady who introduced us to the Pastor of the Anglican Church in Marylebone Street.
There were only five (5) of us who started the Church in United Kingdom – Two (2) of us are here: Myself and that little girl sitting next to my wife. And that lady that didn’t join us. And that is why we are trying to remember her name.
She did her own job – The Assignment that God gave her from Heaven is to lead these Foreigners to the Vicar in Charge of this Anglican Church and then move out of the way.
May I Pray for Somebody here Today or among those reading this Message now on the Label of DMC: The one who God will use to cause you to achieve your Purpose in Life, may he/she arrive soon – Amen!
DMC NOTES: HISTORY OF RCCG CHURCH IN UNITED KINGDOM
The first Official Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in the United Kingdom started at All Souls Church, Angel in London.
- Initial House Fellowship:
The UK Presence began in 1988 as a House Fellowship in Islington, London, started by Nigerian students.
- Early Locations:
Before settling at All Souls Church, the group used temporary locations including All Saints Church in Marylebone (Anglican Church) and the Maida Vale Fraternity Hall.
- First Parish:
Their relocation to All Souls Church in the Angel area under the Leadership of Pastor Ade Okonrende marked the establishment of RCCG’s first Official Parish in the UK.
FOUNDATION MEMBERS
The first RCCG Presence in the United Kingdom was actually started in 1988 as a House Fellowship by Pastor E.A Adeboye and four (4) Nigerian Students—Janet Adedipe, Tope Awobajo, Boma Dodiyi and Sola Awogede.
- I discovered not too long after I became Born Again from the Story in Genesis 18: 8-15 that this All-Sufficient God according to Him is one with whom nothing shall be Impossible.
This LORD said to a ninety (90) years old woman that you are going to have a son – You know the woman! Sarah,
She laughed and God spoke to her – Why are you Laughing? Is there anything too hard for the Lord?
Anytime that you look at yourself and you look at something Great that you feel that God is instructing you to do; and you want to doubt God and you want to think that “Am I Crazy”, at my age and with my limited Resources? Remember that you are talking about Someone who said: Is anything too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32:27, this same God – My God and who I am sure is your God, asked a Question: Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for me?
If you know anything that I cannot do, tell me?
I know Him and as your dad, I can tell you the answer to that Question – What God cannot do doesn’t exist except one thing that He can’t lie.
We will learn that as we go further.
But that there is something that He cannot do, forget it.
Which is why I have all the boldness to say to anyone who says: Sir, aren’t you dreaming too highly? Are you sure that you are okay? And I smile.
I used to share my Visions with some of you who are old.
At a time when we were definitely less than fifty (50), and I used to tell you that one day, the Royal House will come and Worship in our Church.
They always laugh – They will say: The Royal House? The Head of the Anglican Church will come and Worship in the Church of illegal Immigrants? What kind of joke is that?
Until the Present King came to Celebrate his 60th Birthday in one of our Branches – At that time, they weren’t laughing at me anymore.
DMC NOTES: Prince Charles Celebrated his Birthday at RCCG Jesus House London on 14th November 2007.
And incidentally I was in London that very day and one of my Pastors said: Thank God that you are here.
I said that it is your Show – My own Map is a little bit bigger than that. I didn’t say that he will come and Worship when I am Present but I said that he will come.
If I tell you – And some of you have heard it before that one day, the Governing Council of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) will hold their Meeting on the Moon. What will you say?
Some of you will say:
☆ What kind of joke is that?
☆ What is it that you want to go and discuss that you have to go to the Moon?
☆ Don’t you know that it is only Healthy Soldiers that they sent to the Moon? You People are Old People.
☆ And how is it even going to happen?
☆ And then if you are going to go anyway, how are you going to pay for the Tickets?
☆ That is when some People began to say: Look o, they have started sending Civilians to Space o – This Man may not be as crazy as we thought o.
☆ But we understand that to go to Space for three (3) Hours or so, you have to pay Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000) – Where are you going to get the money from?
If I tell you that Ellon Musk can be Born Again tomorrow and become a Member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
And then I tell him that I want to visit the Moon – I am your father-in-the-Lord and I want Special Vehicle that will go to the Moon smoothly that I won’t even feel any shaking?
He will say give me a year to sort it out.
DMC NOTES: Elon Musk is a South African-born American Entrepreneur, Businessman, and Investor best known for Co-founding PayPal and founding SpaceX. While he hasn’t Personally flown in Space, he is the Visionary and driving force behind SpaceX, a Company that has achieved significant milestones in Space Exploration and Commercial Spaceflight, including sending Humans to the International Space Station. His ambition for SpaceX includes eventually colonizing Mars.
We are talking of a LORD with whom nothing shall be Impossible!
Keep that in your Mind because you are going to need that one to do Exploits!
- And this God by the time you now moved out of the Book of Genesis and then you move on to the Book of Exodus.
And then you read the Story in Exodus Chapter 3 – And if you like, you read it up to Exodus Chapter 4; you will suddenly discovered that this LORD is the One who said that “I will be with you” – That is a Promise o!
And He also said that “I am Constant”.
You say where did He say that? He said that my Name is “I Am that I Am”.
And He said to the same Moses: “I will be with you” (DMC NOTES: Exodus 3:12).
And He was talking to a Man – A Fugitive that He is sending to go and bring out His People from the one who was looking for Moses to kill him.
… Go and bring my People out from all those who are tormenting them.
Ha God! How can I do this? God said: “I will be with you”.
And when I get to these People and I tell them that your God sent me, what do I tell them is the Name iof the One who sent me? Tell them that “I Am that I Am” sent you.
If I say to one of you here: The Almighty God has asked me to tell you that you are going to be the National Pastor of Iran; you will say Daddy, have Mercy on me o, can’t you find something a little less? What about Egypt? I can manage Egypt.
I will say: No, He said that you are going to Iran.
This Man that has been playing more or else a Drawn Game with America; you want me to go and face him?
How do I know that You are the One talking to me?
What I told Joshua was that: As I was with Moses, so will I be with you.
What else do you want?
This God that we are dealing with is the One that is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever (DMC NOTES: Hebrews 13:8) – He is Constant.
If you are looking for a friend, don’t look for one among Men because Men, they may be vulnerable.
When I asked Him: Lord You have asked me to be General Overseer, what assurance have I that whatever I need to do this work You will give me?
He told me that I have only one assurance to give you – Wherever you go, I will go with you.
Just take that one and keep it somewhere in the corner of your Heart – He will be with you!
- Who is this God that we are serving?
Numbers 23:19, He said that I am not Man that I should lie, neither the Son of Man that I should repent – That’s who I am.
If you say that you are going to work for God and you think that it requires you having a very reliable Partner, then you have failed before you start – Man will disappoint you.
So if you think that you will not be disappointed along this Path; Somebody must be deceiving Somebody!
The one deceiving you is you!
He is the One in John 14:6 who says: I am the Way, the Truty and the Life – Not the One who tells the truth but I am the Truth.
☆ The One who can never lie.
☆ The One who can never disappoint you.
☆ The Reliable One.
If you have not been disappointed before in the work of the Ministry, get ready – It is going to happen; at least I know from experience!
But if anybody comes around and disappoint you, rather than let that discourage you; it should encourage you.
It should tell you that at long last, I am now focusing on the right Person.
- If you ever come along troubles along the way – Storms; that is Good News.
Why? Because the One with whom you are enlisted to work with says in Psalm 24: 7-10 that He is the Lord of Host.
I used to say that He will never lose a battle but I have discovered that I better say that He has never lost a war.
Why? Because occasionally He loses battles in order to win wars.
He disappoints to Strengthen!
He will never leave you and He will never forsake you – He is the Lord of Host!
- And then, who is this God that I am walking with?
The more you know Him, the Stronger you become and the more effective you will become.
According to Psalm 127:1; the Bible says that: Except the LORD builds the House, they Labour in vain they that builds it.
The One that you are labouring with is a Builder!
And He is the One who said that “I will build my Church”.
If what you are building is your Church; you are bound to fail.
And many of you Great Ministers: If anybody ask you what you are doing? You are quick to say that I am one of the People building the Church – The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in United Kingdom.
Hey Great Builders – Congratulations!
☆ If He doesn’t build and if your building is yours; you are wasting your time – He can crumble everything in one day if it is your own Church that you are building.
Somebody was talking some couple of years ago – He said to me: We can’t serve you and serve your son.
I say: Hey, you mean that it is me that you are serving all these years?
He said that for so many years of my Life, I have been serving you. I can’t serve you and serve your son.
And at that time, he was talking even about my son who has gone to be with the Lord (DMC NOTES: Pastor Dare Adeboye (1978 to 2021), of Blessed Memory).
I don’t know how it get to his head that he was going to be my Successor and so he wanted to say let me be Plain with you.
I said: So it is me that you have been serving all these years? What a Miserable Fellow you are.
What can I do for you? You are serving me?
At the very best, I can ordain you but more than that, I am helpless as you.
But there is Someone who can reward you; the One who will still be around after I have gone – He is the One that you should serve!
I want everybody to know that in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), we don’t vote because God is not a Democrat.
Democracy is the Government of the People, by the People and for the People – God is not there!
You People don’t want to believe me? The only place where the word “Election” occurred in the Bible, it has to do with rigging.
I surprised you? Read Judges Chapter 9 and it will shock you.
It is God who decides who will rule!
Anyone building without God is wasting his/her time!
My very self sitting down before you, I have built a house from zero to everything in place in seven (7) days during the Rainy Season.
You say it cannot be done? That is if we are using the Engineering of Man.
I did it inside the Redemption City – Infact there are two (2) of them at the Redemption City standing firm till today.
Okay, it must be a Bungalow – Oh yes!
And we have heard the Story that you worked Day and Night – Yes, the Night is supposed to be for sleeping but if I add it to the Day and if in one week the building was ready; what’s there?
When some People say that it is a Bungalow that you built in seven (7) days; but I built a Storey Building in eight (8) days.
I decked and did everything that should be done – It is still there and it is the first Building of the High School of Redemption City.
It is Solid because I was using the Engineering of God – I won’t teach you.
But God is a Builder – He can build your Camp in less than one Month (Amen).
How? Don’t ask me – Just know thar God can do it.
When the Government wanted to come and check whether we are ready to have a University and they arrived for the Inspection; the first thing that they wanted to see was the Library and we were building the Library by the time they came – We haven’t even roofed it.
You haven’t gotten a Library and you want us to approve your University?
I said: How long are you staying? They said that we are staying till next week – Ha, the Library will be ready.
They looked at me and said that we have heard about this Man that he is almost crazy – Five (5) days from “Ready to be roofed” to “Completely ready” and loaded with books!
They came on that day and they said: We saw this Building when we came; and I say that I know you saw it.
And one of them said: Now I believed that Miracles do happen here!
I am trying to introduce you to my God so that you will know Him, so that you will be Strong and so that you will do Exploits!
- But He is not just a Builder, He is an Architect.
Hebrews 11: 8-10; the Bible tells us that Abraham was looking for a City whose Maker and Builder is God.
The word “Maker” there is an Architect.
He doesn’t build without a Plan!
And you know what? He is your Builder!
The Bible calls Him the Porter and calls you the Clay.
He is building you – Even as you are listening to me now or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC; He is building you.
Because Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God (DMC NOTES: Romans 10:17).
Before you are born, the Architect in Him had drawn your Picture.
You know it – Jeremiah 1: 4-5 says that before I formed thee, before I begin to work on you; I already knew you and I have already had your Pattern.
The clay was already in my hand and I knew what I wanted to Produce.
We did not meet by Accident – God knows that you are going to need me and that I am going to need you.
You need me to become you and I need you to become me.
The only Problem with that as I close – The Bible says that a Man of God was sent to the House of a Porter while he was making a Vessel.
And then somehow, the clay became marred in his hands and he said what is wrong with this clay? Okay, I will make a new Vessel – It won’t be the original one.
The Bible says that: Many are the devices in the Heart of a Man, but the Counsel of the Lord shall stand (DMC NOTES: Proverbs 19:21).
God has a Purpose for your Life but if you struggle with Him and your clay become marred in His Hand; He will rebuild it but it won’t be the original Vessel.
I Preached a Sermon years ago – I don’t know why God brought it to my Mind less than a Month ago and it has come up again and again.
And the Title of the Sermon is: “SEEING THE INVINCIBLE”.
There might be one (1) or two (2) of you here or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC who heard the Sermon long ago because it was first Preached here in London – And I used the example of a log of wood.
I said that this log of wood, everybody is passing by it and they will look at it and say that all that we see is just a log of wood.
But then a Sculptor came and looked at the same log of wood and he can see inside that log of wood a Lion.
And he says: Ha, ha; I see a Lion in this log of wood and he takes his hammer and chisel it and begin to cut off a little here and a little bit there.
Very soon, the head of a Lion appeared.
And everybody will say: Ha, so there is a Lion hidden in this log of wood?
And then the Sculptor continues and there is a fault in that log of wood not opened to everybody. And as he smashed the hammer on the chisel, the wood split into two.
Ha, what is wrong with you Lion? I want to make a Lion out of you wood!
Okay I will take one half of the wood – If you can’t be a Lion, you will be a cat.
And so he began to work on the wood again. And then another strike and the wood split into two again – Ha,ha; I was going to make a cat out of the wood left.
And he continued and another strike and the thing split into two again – Ha, I want to bring something out of you that will be decorating a Palace? Okay, I can still get a rat out of you.
And then, He kept going and there was another fault and that thing split into two again.
And so he said:
☆ I want to make you into a Lion, you refused to be a Lion.
☆ I want to make you a cat afterall a Lion is also a cat, it is just that cat differs from cat but you refused to be a cat.
☆ I want to make you a rat, you refused to be a rat,
Then you will be useful as firewood!
Beloveth Children, God has a Great Plan for your Life!
And you know that we always says that: Once He speaks, it is done.
Psalm 119:89 says: Forever Oh Lord, thy word is Settled in Heaven – At least, where no Politician can come and change the Law.
But don’t forget Psalm 115:3 – Our God is in Heaven, He does as He Pleases.
His Word is forever Settled subject to His Sovereignty!
1 Samuel 2:30, He said to Eli – I said indeed that you and your father’s house will be Standing before me forever – Your family will be a family of Ministers of God. But now, I say be it far from me.
I said that I change my Mind.
You don’t like it, sue me and let us find out who is going to be your Judge and who is going to be your Lawyer.
PERSONAL PRAYER REQUEST
Bow your Head and talk to the Almighty God:
☆ I know that You are the Almighty
☆ I know that there is nothing that is too hard for You
☆ I know that You are not a Man that You should lie
☆ I know that You have a Plan for my Life.
Please, don’t let me offend You because I know that You can Change Your Mind:
☆ Don’t replace me with Somebody else.
☆ Oh God, have Mercy on me
☆ Don’t let me fail You and don’t let me fail myself.
You have a Purpose for my Life – I am not in this Nation without a Purpose:
☆ Let Your Perfect Will for my Life be done.
☆ Let me know You more so that I will learn to be careful when dealing with You.
