DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM.

    DMC MOTIVATIONAL COLUMN

Don’t forget that it wasn’t the Wright brothers that first discovered the Airplane – It was Dr Samuel Lanley, a Professor of Mathematics and Astronomy that started it.

He started the Project and gave it up after running into obstacles, criticism and financial setbacks.

But just after that, the Wright brothers, who were uneducated and had insufficient funds celebrated a breakthrough by becoming the first humans to fly a Manned Plane.

    What was the difference?

The Wright brothers had what Professor Lanley lacked : PATIENCE AND RUGGED PERSISTENCE.

Many of “Life’s Failures” are People who did not realize how close they were to Success when they gave up.

Winston Churchill also told his “Goal Getting” Soldiers: If you are going through hell, keep going” – It is Determination that determines your Destination!

… So, Stay Strong and be Unbroken!

Always remember that there is no Elevator to Success – You have to take the stairs to ascend the “Ladder of Success” in life.

… You will get there surely and you will never end up in shame by God’s Grace – Amen!!!

  • NUGGETS FROM REVEREND SAM ADEYEMI’S TEACHING: HOW TO BUILD CONFIDENCE – PART 1

NUGGETS FROM REVEREND SAM ADEYEMI’S TEACHING: HOW TO BUILD CONFIDENCE – PART 1

We believe that there are “Time Proven Laws of Success” that guarantees that when you satisfy their Condition(s) you will turn out well.

There is tremendous Power in our world – Tremendous Positive Energy Passing through our world every nano seconds and you can leverage on these Power that expresses itself in so many different ways to achieve your Goals.

When you understand the Principles through which these Powers works – When you put a seed in the soil, it Germinates and begins to Grow.

… The Power that makes it Grows is invisible but its Real.

    You can’t deny its existence.

There is a Law of Gravity; there is Law of Lift, there is Law of Aerodynamics.

It is amazing that once man has been able to understand how the Principles works for something to lift into the air; we have been leveraging on that.

When you truly understands Principles, it makes you Creative, it makes you Innovative and adapt in your world and the things in your world to create Solution.

    … It is quite amazing!

You can create Solutions to the challenges in the environment because you can work with the Principles of course and effect it.

Planting a seed is a Cause – You are causing something.

    So, the effect is Harvest.

So, there are Principles that guarantees Success and those Principles makes Success Possible because there is Power with the Principles and they make Success Predictable.

Wouldn’t you like to live your life that way?

Where you are not living by chance, you are not waiting for luck before you can succeed.

Some People create their own luck.

When a farmer Plant his seed in the soil, he is creating his own luck.

Some Months down the line, he is going to Harvest or maybe some few years, he will begin to Harvest fruits.

That is how you can create your luck – You understands how the Principles works.

Nothing else make someone functioning below in his own Capacity.

And I believe that the issue of Confidence is Critical to our ability to fulfill our Potential.

One of the major reason why we loose Confidence or we don’t have Confidence or we have low self esteem is because we tend to build our sense of worth on Circumstances, on our Possession or Probably even our Physical habit and that sometimes is where we make a mistake.

Several Years back a friend of mine held up two (2) Currency Notes of same Value.

Let us assume $5 or £5 or #5 in Nigeria currency but same value.

One is crimson New Note from the bank; the other is dirty, rumbled, rough with lines on it, really dirty.

So, my friend held the two (2) of them up and said this is brand New. Now, this is really old, tattered and dirty.

Which one do you think will buy more items from the Market?

It is amazing that some People said the New One before they caught themselves.

… No, the New Note won’t buy more in the Market.

So, the New Note is crimson New, is coming from straight from the bank. It is better to the eyes.

The other one is old, is rugged, it is seen a lot in its lifetime. Its gone into the Market, to the Hospital, to the Church – It has gone around by the day and is dirty.

The big question is which one will buy more? – They will buy the same Value of Goods from the Market.

    You know why?

The Big Lesson there is: As much as the dirty one has gone through a lot of Places, has changed many hands, has been stained with a lot of stains, Probably is even carrying a few germs, it doesn’t matter.

The “Intrinsic Value” of the figure written in it has not been destroyed; it has not been removed one bit – It has exactly the same Value as the crimson New Note.

Oh, it is amazing what happened when we stand next to someone who is better dressed than we or we stand next to someone who drive to the event with a better car or we stand next to someone who has a better Qualification.

That is when we begin to loose our Esteem, our sense of Worth along with it our Confidence.

Why? – Because we are measuring ourselves through External Factors just like someone who will consider the dirty Note.

So, we make big mistake when we define ourselves by the things we have gone through or by our circumstances.

Our “Intrinsic Value” is never eroded.

What you think and say about yourself is far more important than what other People think or say.

… And the Starting Point is You:

    1. What do you think about Yourself?
    2. What Value do you Place on Yourself?

See the way it works – You Under-Value Yourself, no one is going to Raise You Up – They will treat you exactly the way you treat Yourself!

    My encouragement here is this:

    1. You are going to have Confidence.
    2. You are going to build Yourself (Confidence).
    3. You have got not to build your Confidence on External Factors but on Intrinsic Factors.

Some People worry that they will never be able to measure up to other People. That they will never be Good enough.

    1. I think what we should be worried about is the Possibility of us Functioning below our Capacity.
    2. I think what we should be concerned about is the Possibility of us not being the best that we could be.

You are Good enough on your Destiny; Good enough for your Assignment on this Planet and you have got to recognise it.

DMC NOTES: We warmly Welcome us all to a Series of this Teaching on: “HOW TO BUILD CONFIDENCE” – This will run in four (4) Parts with each dedicated Per Week for the next three (3) coming weeks.

… Please Watch Out for the other three (3) Series to run one (1) per week in the next three (3) weeks God’s Sparing our Lives!

  • NUGGETS FROM PASTOR POJU OYEMADE’S TEACHING: THE FACES OF WISDOM – SKILLS MATTERED MOST.

NUGGETS FROM PASTOR POJU OYEMADE’S TEACHING: THE FACES OF WISDOM – SKILLS MATTERED MOST.

Never forget this: “Your Next Level is hidden in People that you are interacting with” – So, do it with Wisdom.

Alright, People are the one that are carrying these things – So, do it right with Wisdom.

Sometimes ago, something happened to me – The generator in my house had been going off for two (2) days.

So, I told the Technician and he said we have to re-ring it.

He said what will happen is that we are going to bring the engine down and you have to give us two (2) days to do that.

So, I said alright, If I want to travel I will let you know so that you can come.

But then few days after on Saturday before Sunday; around 3.00 O’clock; the generator went off. So, I called the chap and he sent his guy.

The guy tried and tried till 5.00pm, he couldn’t just start it this time.

He came and knocked and said: Pastor, your generator is not coming up today.

Now, Saturday by 5 O’ clock; means so much – You have Services to prepare for.

You may know and understand this: If you are used to Preparing in a certain Place; you are used to Pray in a certain Place – So, going to stay in a hotel changes the game.

The anointing will not be the same.

I’m just telling you this because you have the distance you walk when you are Praying – Now, the hotel room doesn’t have that distance. It may be shorter. It affects things. The bed is different.

So, I didn’t want to go.

I told my wife, I’m ain’t going anywhere. She said: “You always say that”.

I said, I’m not going anywhere.

I would rather stay inside this house with darkness and Pray for the meeting than go out where there is light.

But inside me I just knew that this chap, there is more to these things. So, I now thought about something.

I called someone, an elder friend of mine. I was trying to ask about an old engineer.

He said oh, I don’t have that guy’s number.

There is somebody and he called the guy.

The guy came in at 6 O’ clock. He just went to the generator. And after ten (10) minutes, he said everything was working.

So, I called him and asked what happened.

He said it is one small wire. I removed it and did that. He said we will just do a few things there.

Now, so when he was leaving I now wanted to pay him – Now, you have got to understand this alright.

Because he told me. I said ok. I will get back to you.

He said it was my “oga” (boss) that called me. The Person that called me is my “oga” (boss).

I was working on somebody’s engine when the chap called me. And the way he spoke about you; I dropped everything I was doing. I told them I’m coming and I ran to your house to do it.

I’m just trying to say that if you don’t have that kind of relationship Investment with People.

The guy who was coming to removed the engine said: “We will come this morning when you go to Church “.

The engine will be down now pieces. And he would be working and we would be paying for it.

Now, you might have situations. I’m not talking about generator – When your engine has removed unnecessarily.

Are you following what I’m saying here – You have got to understand this. And the guy came and did it.

It was time for me to pay him money and I thought about the hotel bills.

Now, you want to pay somebody money. You aren’t just going to pay him for ten (10) minutes work – You have to pay him for relieving you of trouble.

Because some of you when you bring the money out, then you will begin to count it and you will cut the guys heart.

Now, the guy didn’t know what he has saved from. But my conscience wouldn’t allow me to give him something without the recognition of his saving work over my life.

Now, we will get to it when we get to spiders.

They take hold with their hands – That is talent, skill. And we Christian we mix up things.

When the Bible says Spiders take hold with their hands – It is Pure Skills.

    Skills opens doors.

Listen, you know we miss things. We say, I’m a Nice Person.

Niceness doesn’t opens the door – It is Skill!

Now, you are in office. You are greeting everybody yes sir, yes sir. That doesn’t open those doors – It is Skill.

And the Skill, whoever that is carrying the Skill – It doesn’t matter whether the Person comes to Church or not, that is irrelevant.

God forbid, if you have a family member that has a condition and they say there are only two (2) Doctors that can do it in the world.

Do you ask which religion are you?

Do you ask anything? – That are you a man of one (1) wife.

You don’t ask any of that! – That is your Problem.

What you are looking for is Skill.

So, we confuse things: Spiders they are in Kings Palace because they have Skills!

NUGGETS FROM PASTOR IBUKUN AWOSIKA’S TEACHING: OPINION

Many People have an Opinion about who you should be.

Many People have an Opinion about how you should live.

Many People want to instruct your life but there is only one God in your life and the Person who has the best communication in your life is “YOU”.

    … Never forget that!

So, Opinions are good, Counsel is safe but every Counsel is information – It is not instruction.

So, when People tell you their Opinion, all it does is to give you three hundred and sixty (360) degree view of the situation.

But the decision(s) is/are entirely yours based on what you know between your heart desires, your God Instructed Passion and Instruction and where you feel led.

And sometimes it would become clearer by where the opportunities around you at that point lies.

  • NUGGETS FROM DR (MRS) BECKY ENECHE’S TEACHING: GODLY COURTSHIP AND MARRIAGE

NUGGETS FROM DR (MRS) BECKY ENECHE’S TEACHING: GODLY COURTSHIP AND MARRIAGE

SINGLES AND MARRIED: WHO SHOULD I GET MARRIED TO?

    1. Find someone who is God Fearing – Marry someone who is God Fearing:

When you marry someone who is God fearing, the rules that you established for yourselves in Courtship, becomes easy to OBEY and ADHERE to.

For instance, you say: As long as we are in this Courtship, we are not going to have Premarital sexual relationship – This is our Standard. The day it happens, this relationship is over!

… That was our agreement before me and my husband got married.

If you want this Marriage not to hold, then allow this to happen: then that is the END – Alright?

So you marry a GOD FEARING Person!

    1. Marry somebody who has a Complementary Vision for life.

    … A Complementary Vision!

Not that you want to serve God FULL TIME, and the Person wants to serve God minimal time.

Not that you want to engage in certain Vocation and the Person wants to engage in another Vocation – That is Dimensionally Opposed.

… There is no how you can do those two (2) Assignments together – Alright?

    1. Marry somebody who is Honest – who is REAL.

Don’t marry a FAKE Person – Brother, don’t marry a fake Person; Sister, don’t marry a fake Person.

I’m sorry, this brings us to the issue of appearance now – Eh!

I read a story of somebody – Was it in Malaysia or some other Place that SUED the wife he married.

Because when he woke after the Wedding Day, he said: That woman I’m seeing there is not the woman I married.

What happened? – The Makeup had transformed her. And so when she slept and woke up in the morning (without the Makeup); she was definitely not who he knows!

It was a serious matter – He said he is suing her to COURT – for DAMAGES (laughter!!!)

Some of us women are not real – Everything is FAKE; everything is ADDED on, or some things are ADDED ON!

I wanted to list them: Sisters you know them but unfortunately the Brothers don’t know!

    A few of them knows but they hide their head in the sand, like the Ostrich;

… They believed that: If I don’t SEE the danger, then the danger does not EXISTS.

Brothers, please be real to the Person you want to marry. And let the Person also be REAL to you!

You don’t have hair on your head, let him know – Let him be happy to marry you without hairs on your head.

That might be the Attractive Factor about you: Whatever it is, be down to earth – be real!

Can I tell you something: This my hair style is the BEST to my husband.

And he says it in a very funny way (when I finish plaiting it): “I like your Fine, Fine hair.” (Laughter!!)

… You know, the way you say to a little Girl: I like your fine, fine dress; that is how he say it to me!

    1. Does she Respect you? Does she Summit to you? Will she be Humble and stay Submissive to you after you are married?

Does the man respect you? Or he talks down at you?

Well, if you carry yourself loosely and he has had everything he needs to have from your body; he can talk to you anyhow, and you can’t blame him.

    1. Does he respect your wishes? Or does she respect your wishes?

Are your opinion counted? Or your suggestions?

Already you haven’t married; you make a suggestion and it is thrown out – I mean, it’s discarded?

… These are important things to take note of.

    1. Does he encourage you? And does he strive to bring out the best in you?

Or he is in competition with you? Or she is in competition with you?

    … These are important things!

    1. Does he serve God? Is he obedient to God?

We have already talked about him being Born Again; or she being Born Again – And being God Fearing.

Another thing is: Is he Obedient to God?

For instance, you come into Church, Senior Pastor says: Pray this Prayer everyday or as frequently as you can.

And from Sunday till the next Sunday, he didn’t pick up the Prayer Bulletin to Pray, he didn’t go out for Evangelism, he hasn’t read his Bible throughout the week; she hasn’t done anything in that line – There is no commitment to the things of God!

If you want to marry a Christian – MARRY A CHRISTIAN!

If you want to marry somebody that has no relationship with God; and you are comfortable with that kind of existence, that is fine!

But the issue is: Determine what you are entering into before you enter!

… Not after you are married you come and complain.

    1. The next one, some might reject and some might accept: Does he Respect his mother? Does he value his mother?

Some say, ooh! My mother is a witch, my mother is a Witch!

… Then that means she gave birth to a witchlet!

In as much as that cannot be ruled out because we know there are wicked People that exists and People that can kill their own born child and whatever!

What am I driving at here? Is he a Person that has a healthy regard for his family? – Particularly his mother.

Does he respect her Person; or he talks at her anyhow – Disrespect her?

Is he somebody that the mother can say: My son, what you are doing is not totally okay – Can you correct it like this?

    … It’s a totally Big Asset.

But on the other hand; if you notice that he is under the CONTROL or manipulative HOLD of his mother or her mother, or her family; that again is another thing to look at twice!

You don’t want to marry a ‘Baby Boy’ – You want to marry a mature man.

Just as you don’t want to marry a ‘Play Boy’ or a Casanova or a Gigolo that wants you for only the money you HAVE!

In the same way you want to marry somebody who has a Healthy RESPECT for the home and for the home Setup.

    1. Will he wait for you when you cannot be there? Is he Patient?

If we agree we we are not going to have Premarital relationship: Is he ready to abide by that rule?

Because if he can’t abide by that rule; when you are married and you travel, he won’t wait for you.

Or when you are married and you are indisposed – maybe childbearing or something; He won’t wait for you – He will go out and look for a Lady that to ready at that moment.

You are able to tell how he or she is, by how they are!

    … Finally, let me stop with this;

    1. Is he Eternity Conscious? Is she Eternity Conscious?

Is he living just for the world and for the Pleasures of this world? Or does he have a consciousness of Eternity?

And Plan to make Heaven, and Plan to be ready for the Rapture?

There are some People that want to go to hell, and want to take others with them – Don’t hang around with such people!

Next time we talk, we will talk about: Some Things to identify.

For instance Brother, you are in a Relationship, the only thing the Sister wants, is MONEY:

Money to do her hair, money to buy a new bag, money to buy a new shoe; money to send to her Uncle, her brother, her sister, her Aunty, her everybody.

You haven’t married, you should build a storey building for her father – without regard of what you have!

You need to analysis it: Are you going to be able to cope with that kind of a Person?

But you know? I discovered something; kai! – MEN!!!

I read a story one day, a young man – He had three (3) Ladies that he was contemplating to marry. So he gave each one of them, Five Thousand US Dollars ($5,000).

… That is like one Point something Million Naira, right (Above #1,000,000)?

So, he gave each one of them, Five Thousand US Dollars ($5,000) – He wanted to use it to test how they will react.

    1. The first (1st) one took the money, used half of the money to do a Complete Makeover; got herself a new wardrobe, did her face, hair, did everything. And came out looking – Oh my God, very beautiful!

And then bought a few things for him – New shirt, new this, new that! – To make him over, too.

    1. The second (2nd) girl took the money and used ALL the money to shop for him. And picked up few things for herself – She said: My emphasis is you!
    2. Then the third (3rd) Girl, took the Five Thousand US Dollars ($5,000) and put it into Stocks and Shares and Bonds and Treasury Bills, and stuffs like that!

And after a short while, she even brought him BACK the original Five Thousand US Dollars ($5,000) and still had more than that Five Thousand US Dollars ($5,000) which she reinvested.

… So they asked the young man, which of them will you marry?

Sisters, which of them do you think he should marry? – The Third (3rd) one!

Alright, thank you – That is your opinion.

…. Brothers, which one will you marry?

Do you know the one they will marry? – The most Beautiful one – the most Flashy one!

    1. They are not considering the one that will take care of him and multiply his resources.
    2. They are not considering the one that has him in her mind as number one in her mind.

… They are “MORE CONCERNED” at the Most Beautiful one!

… Stand up on your feet!

Brothers, it’s all about how beautiful – In as much as they should be Beautiful.

Don’t marry who you don’t like ooooh!

If you don’t like the way she looks, don’t marry her oooh because she won’t transform.

She can get better but the shape of the nose will remain the shape of the nose!

So like it the way it is! It can be enhanced; so like it – Basic!

But Please, marry somebody who would help you to reach Higher Heights!

Women maturely want to help their men – Did you hear all the women unanimously say he should marry the one that will multiple his money?

… Unanimously, they agreed he should marry who will help him.

But some men just want to marry someone Beautiful – without brains, without conscious for your money.

… May you not MISS IT – AMEN!

If you believe it SHOUT AMEN – AMEN!!!!!

  • What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part VI

What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part VI

    Good morning, everyone. Alleluia.

I again thank Jehovah for His insight-giving word, giving understanding to me simple.

In Part II (see 19c) we learnt that going forward we need to look inward into our midst lest we be like the unwise virgins of Matthew 25.

You can read Part II here: What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part II

In Part IV we learnt to evaluate our individual conduct, since according to Luke 6: 41-42 and 11: 34-36 we must first remove the beam of timber in our own eyes before beaming our light on our brethren.

You can read Part IV here: What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part IV

Note that the Lord does not here refer to us scrutinizing our enemies, not even our neighbours, but our brethren!

    Why?

In Part V, the Lord was kind to bring to our consciousness that there shall be in our midst relative peace, divine provision, powerful works, and falling away. As we read in Luke 9: 62, this will be a very sad event indeed. Remember Judas Iscariot?

Read Part V here: What The Lord Is Saying About Covid-19 Part V

As we therefore follow the timeline already established in Part V we find immediately after our anchor story:

(a). powerful works: unexpected people got amazing miracles: in Mark 5: 21-43, Jairus a leader of the synagogue was not a classic disciple of Jesus, neither was the woman with the issue of blood who merely touched the Lord in secret! On the other hand, in Mark 6: 1-5, the people of the Lord’s hometown rejected him; and He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.!

(b). divine provision: in Mark 6: 30-44, He fed five thousand men excluding women and children who by my reckoning could not have been less than quadruple; cf. Luke 12: 1.

(c). relative peace: before a final storm comes in Mark 6: 45-51; more in Part VIII, by God’s grace.

(d). falling away: it will be rather unwise of us to imagine that the prince of this world will look away while we enjoy the foregoing.

(i). In 1 Peter 5: 7-9, just after the reassurance of powerful works, divine provision and relative peace as outlined above – casting all your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, AMP] upon him; for he careth for you – we read: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about [in fierce hunger, AMP], seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist steadfast in the faith… – KJV.

(ii). we may recall from Part I that we are encouraged to stand firm in Christ “on whom our faith depends from beginning to end” for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The passage goes on to admonish us to put on the full armour of God with our feet shod with the equipment of the good news of peace. – Hebrews 12: 2, GNB; Ephesians 6: 12, 15, NWT.

(iii). we are therefore not surprised that in Mark 6: 7-13 (omitted in the above timeline) the Lord sends the Church out to evangelise: They went out and preached that people should repent. They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them. And thus they withstood the Devil!

Why is this important at this time?

There is no better time to bring “the good news of peace” than in turmoil! In Part I we learnt that in this pandemic, “implicit in our salvation is evangelism in whatever form”. Not only is evangelism a part of our defence, it is in these last days a preparation for our Bridegroom lest we find ourselves soiled and unfit for the Feast. – Matthew 22: 11-14; Luke 13: 24-28.

The Lord is saying He did not save us to sit idle in political correctness; no, He saved us to depopulate the Kingdom of Darkness by withstanding the Devil even at this time (Mark 3: 27). He says we should examine the Scriptures together:

    A. In Romans 10: 1-15, we find a message that is perhaps even more relevant in our time than when Apostle Paul wrote the epistle nearly 2 000 years ago.

(i). We already know from Parts II and V that the Intervention is through a ship, “a vessel”. In verses 6 and 7 we are told not to expect spacecrafts or submarines…

(ii). Verse 8: …but that the means to berth the ship is in our mouth and in our heart; that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

(iii). Verse 13: everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.

(iv). Verse 14: How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

(v). Verse 15: And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Note: Here, Apostle Paul quotes Isaiah 52: 7, What a beautiful sight! On the mountains a messenger announces to Jerusalem, “Good news! You’re saved. There will be peace. Your God is now King.” CEV.
Again, we see the phrase, good news of peace. Verse 10 tells us what it is: The LORD has shown all nations his mighty strength; now everyone will see the saving power of our God. CEV.

    B. Acts 26: 16-18. Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen of me and what I will show you. I will rescue you from your [current crisis]. I am sending you to [everyone] to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.
Note that we are sent to “our own people and to the unbelievers”.

    C. In 2 Corinthians 2: 14-16, we read: But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through [our evangelism] spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the [latter, NWT] we are the smell of death; to the [former, NWT], the fragrance of life.

Note again that our evangelism fragrance is not limited to unbelievers, who are perishing and whom we are to constantly remind of the impending death that is the wages of sin, but instructively extends to believers who are being saved and whom we are to continuously cue into the everlasting life that is the gift of God lest they wither away. – Romans 6: 23; 1 Corinthians 10: 12.

Earlier, in 2 Corinthians 2: 5-9, Apostle Paul had said, If anyone has caused grief [among you] … the punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient for him. Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him. The reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything.

    D. John 15: 6, 7. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

We can therefore infer the following:

(i). first we who #haveJesus must get up and stand firm in Christ.

(ii). then we must run up the mountain to preach the word of faith, the gospel of peace, to the afflicted swine lest they choke in the sea. See Part II
(iii). our beautiful attire and our aroma (or odour, NWT) for the Great Feast with the Lamb are in our evangelism.

(iv). our fragrance (or sweet odour, NWT) of life is however in our restoring one another! (Interestingly, Apostle Paul uses different Greek words for the two smells.)

(v). our God does not bury wounded soldiers, He heals and restores them. Remember Samson?
(vi). He expects our obedience in this matter: that we reaffirm our love for our brethren falling behind lest they fall away.

(vii). there is a test involved in this obedience. Scriptures tell both the instructor and the instructed to forgive after modest discipline in order that Satan might not outwit us, for we are not unaware of his schemes. – 2 Corinthians 2: 10, 11.

It is therefore not a coincidence that the scriptures to resist the Devil and to put on the full armour of God (by our evangelism; see above) had earlier discussed the organisation of our congregations and the organisation of our households respectively! We are not unaware of the Satan’s schemes, especially in these last days; more in Part VII by God’s grace.

The Lord is saying at this time to ask us:

(i). Are we a beautiful sight? If I opened my mouth to preach Jesus, will anyone conversant with my ways give me sincere attention?

(ii). Do I smell right? Do my fruit abide?

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom. Is your social media for Jesus? – Ecclesiastes 9: 10.

And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. – Luke 12: 47.
    My prayer remains that we #qualify. Matthew 24: 13; Acts 20: 24.

Whereas most scripture quotations are from the New International Version, heavy reliance has again been placed on The New Testament in the Original Greek 1881 by BF Westcott and FJA Hort as reproduced in The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures 1985 by the New World Bible Translation Committee.

  • What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part V.

What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part V.

Good morning, everyone. Glory be to Jesus Christ. Alleluia.

Today, I strongly believe I have the Lord’s permission to proceed from where we left off in Part III; indeed the guided delay has provided much-needed clarity. I must thank Jehovah profusely for continuing to speak. Alleluia.

So far in this series we have established the following:

(i). an alternative interpretation of the nearly 2 000 year old event in Mark 5: 1-20 provides an uncanny parallel to the current Covid-19 pandemic and purports to be (I speak here as an unbeliever) an accurate timeline to consider seriously in preparing for future events. See Part II. What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part II

(ii). this pandemic has “a period, a process and a purpose”. There are two phases each of violence and of economic impairment: pre-Intervention and post; general and specific. The Intervention only comes after “a long time”. See Part III. What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part III

(iii). pre- and during Intervention, the source of the pandemic, a renowned country, will appear to wax stronger despite intermittent isolation in the desert (attacks of ostracism)! During the Intervention, the general populace will recover but the swine will be afflicted. Immediately post-Intervention, the Church now reformed will be (a) at peace, (b) provided for, (c) at the feet of Jesus. See Parts II and III.

(iv). the swine are those who are safe in their own eyes because they are privileged economically, politically, or even religiously, but outside of Jesus. While the restored will join the Church, the other (“atheist”) demoniac – healed but not restored – will side with the “custodians of the swine” to herald the one-world government and ask Jesus to please leave. See Parts II and III.

(v). we, singularly and collectively, have a role in all of these to herald the Intervention and save the world. We in fact determine how long the world suffers! See Parts I and IV.

What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part I

What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part IV

So what is the Lord saying at this time?

Prior to our anchor story, there had been numerous teachings, extraordinary healings (Luke 7: 1-10), resurrection and publicity (Luke 7: 11-17), discipleship (Matthew 8: 19-22) and forgiveness of sins (Luke 7: 36-50), support for ministry (Luke 8: 1-3) and reassurance of divine filiality (Luke 8: 19-21). In the very next verse and immediately preceding our anchor story however is this: Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. – Luke 8: 22.

The same event can be found recorded in Matthew 8:23-27, Luke 8: 22-25 and Mark 4: 35-41; the last of which we now examine in greater detail as the Lord gives insight. As in Part II, Verses: Points and Revelations:

35: a. And the same day: after a lot of Church activities, we do not know exactly how much time has passed since the problem started on the other side…

    b. when the evening was come: in these last days, as we come to the end of this system of things [more in Part VII, God willing]…

    c. he saith unto the disciples: Jesus’ Intervention is not absent of the Church…

    d. Let us pass over unto the other side: the time has finally come for Jesus to intervene!

36: a. And when they had sent away the multitude: those who are not really a part of us will leave. [Perhaps they had only come for the miracles: the healings and provisions; perhaps not. Consider Luke 8: 4-18 omitted prior.]

    b. they took him even as he was in the ship:

(i). they went with Jesus in the boat he was already in, ERV: the events under review are not because the Church has strayed, nor because Jesus is no longer with us [more in Part VI, God willing].

(ii). without making any special preparations, ISV: this was a sudden trip, the disciples made no provisions for it; the Church was caught practically unawares by these events.

    c. And there were also with him other little ships:
(i). the events also affect other institutions, even those smaller than the Church.

(ii). Note that these ones did not follow Jesus to the other side where the demoniac was waiting. If these ones were of the other disciples of Jesus – outside the twelve in the ship with Him – then a more literal interpretation will again be that some of our brethren will fall away after “the storm”!

37: And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full: “There were professional fishermen in that boat, who had seen no end of storms on that lake, but this one was unusual. Satan saw where Jesus was heading and didn’t want to lose his prize victim, so he made a valiant effort to stop Him.” – WPNT Commentary; italics mine.

38: And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?: “In keeping with the size of the boat, the poop deck was probably just big enough for someone to lie down on it. Jesus wasn’t down in the boat or He would already be covered with water. He was so worn out [from the day’s activities] that not even the storm aroused Him – they probably had to shake Him.” – WPNT Commentary.

39: And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm: “Jesus performed a double miracle here. First, He made the wind stop short. But once water is agitated, it takes a while to calm down, even if the cause is gone, so second, He smoothed out the water immediately.” – WPNT Commentary.

40: And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?: “Jesus is evidently saying that they [read, the Church] should not have been afraid, and that they themselves could have solved the problem – if they had the faith.” – WPNT Commentary.
41: And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?: [comment reserved.]

From the foregoing it has become clearer that our job in this matter is well cut out. The Lord says:

(i). to tell us to consider Proverbs 16: 3 together: Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

(ii). then to separate the two sentences therein and evaluate ourselves in the first half by the criteria in Part IV and do so most sincerely:

(a). to those of us who have found ourselves wanting He yet says: Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. – Isaiah 55: 1.

(b). to those of us who have rated ourselves aboveboard He says: Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. – 1 Chronicles 16: 8; Ephesians 2: 8, 9.

(iii). only now will the second half apply!

Whereas most scripture quotations are from modern renditions of the Authorised (King James’) Version 1611, heavy reliance has again been placed on The New Testament in the Original Greek 1881 by BF Westcott and FJA Hort as reproduced in The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures 1985 by the New World Bible Translation Committee.

    (iii). ISV, International Standard Version.

  • What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part IV

What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part IV

Good morning, everyone. Glory be to Jesus Christ. Alleluia.

    With what has happened these past weeks, there can be no doubt left that there is a Most High who rules in the affairs of men. Covid-19 has utilised its jurisdiction to prove this point beyond the territory of contestation;

see Part II. What The Lord is Saying About Covid-19. Part II

    Thankfully, God has done all of this without keeping us in the dark;

see Part I. : What The Lord is Saying About Covid-19. Part I

What amazes me the most is that, from a human point of view, most plans must be kept secret from adversaries to be successful; but not so with Almighty, the One who speaks and it comes to pass as is, the A-lèwí-lèṣe.

Some 2 600 years ago, despite a 12-month advance warning, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon (the world power from 632 – 539 BCE) had a terrible firsthand encounter with Him: And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him that liveth forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation. And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? – Daniel 4: 34, 35

So what is the Lord saying at this time?

Shall we examine the Scriptures together?

Psalm 33: 12; 1 Peter 2: 9, 10; 1 John 5: 14, AUV: Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance[we] are a chosen generation… the people of God … And this is how we can express boldness in our relationship with God: Whatever we ask of God, in prayer, so long as it is in harmony with His will for us, we know He hears our request.

Oh, what is His will at this time – now that we have done all that we know to do?

Now that we have prayed and prayed and prayed, maybe even prayed to the point of mockery, and continuing from Part III – 1 John 2: 7 – the Lord will have us examine a few more Scriptures:

    1. Hebrews 12:1. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
    2. John 9. Therein is a story of experts blatantly denying the power of God to heal at a time of His own choosing. Particular attention to be put to Verse 31: Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
    3. Perhaps you took note of the omission from 1 Peter 2: 9 above: that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
    4. Psalms 22: 26. The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live forever.
    5. 1 Peter 2: 13-15. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
    6. Acts 24: 16. And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.
    7. Luke 16: 10. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Again, there is a period, a process, and a purpose. If you are in full compliance with the Will of God as outlined above, then the Lord is saying to you: “Do not be discouraged, child.” Remember that He has got times and seasons in His hands; and He will keep you safe through this storm, and till the end. More on this in Part V — God willing.

    ADDENDUM:

Perhaps you recall these words: In Part IV, by His grace, we shall examine the same period from the other perspective. That was my intention at the time; but it is for good reason that this series is titled What the Lord Is Saying…

And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes – Luke 12: 47.

  • What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part III

What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part III

    •Good morning, everyone.

First I must thank you for staying tuned, having already thanked the Lord for His amazing grace through which He continues to speak.

    •In Part I,

What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part I

I emphasised that Jehovah is omnipotent and can keep us safe in the midst of this turmoil as he had done severally over the past 6 000 years for our forerunners. I also emphasised that it is non-negotiable that we:

    i. #haveJesus.

    ii. stand firm in Jesus.

    iii. evangelise in whatever form.

    •In Part II,

What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part II

    I recommended that we

    i. praise Him, since He inhabits the praises of His people.

ii. take refuge in His Name.

iii. evangelise to the ends of the Earth!

•Yes, I am yet the one speaking. So I realised recently that the story the Lord gave me insight on, Mark 5: 1-20, is also in Matthew 8: 28-34 and Luke 8: 26 – 39. I also realised that the insight I got would not have made sense – at least to me – if I had not been led to Mark’s account. As the Lord put it, they are one event, three stories!

•So the Lord asked me to compare and here’s what I found:

    In Luke‘s, we learn that:

    1. Verse 27:

(i). the man was a citizen of that city. He was renowned in Gerasa until the problem struck.

(ii). the problem had been for a long time before The Intervention. See also Verse 29.

(iii). the man had been rendered naked before The Intervention.

(iv). the man had also been rendered homeless.

(v). the man actually lived in the tombs.

    2. Verse 29: the man was often led into the desert.

    3. Verse 32: “the swine” was actually on “the mountain”.

    4. Verse 35: the restored man sat at the feet of Jesus.

    •In Matthew‘s, we learn that:

    1. Verse 28:

(i). there were in fact two men, but only one stood out!

(a). only one ran to Jesus for help.

(b). only one did obeisance to Jesus.

(c). only one sat at the foot of Jesus.

(d). only one wanted to go with him.

(e). only one was told to proclaim the gospel.

(ii). they were exceedingly, i.e. unusually, fierce.

(iii). they instilled fear in everyone’s heart.

(iv). they barricaded a vital route to the sea port.

(v). they deprived the city of Gadara the economic potential of that route.

•In addition to what we already know from Part II, we may infer from the foregoing, from past to future, that:

    1. The crisis came in through the action or inaction of a renowned “person” – or country.

    2. In the course of the crisis, the “person” became stripped of their comfort: unclad, homeless.

    3. There were prolonged periods of hunger, thirst and scorching heat as found in the desert.

    4. This deprivation did not lead to death by exsanguination or sepsis; somehow the “person” not only survived but became stronger. I would speculate that the trips into the desert were indeed rejuvenating.

    5. There was violence as a result of this deprivation. This is different from the post-Intervention violence.

    6. This violence culminated in restriction of movement of the affected person and others not affected.

    7. This restriction heralded a partial economic downturn; pre-Intervention economic events.

    8. Jesus came all the way just to intervene; that was the only thing Jesus did in that country.

    9. Jesus did not arrive early in the crisis; the crisis had been “a long time” before He docked.

    10. “The swine” are the Elite – political? economic? religious? – who feel safe in their own eyes and outside of Jesus.

    11. Jesus’ Intervention caused economic collapse for the “custodians of the swine” and not for everyone.

    12. This collapse was the basis of the unity of the people and the consequent rejection of Jesus.

    13. The other demoniac who benefited from the Intervention rather sided with the “mob”. Not everyone who is saved from this crisis will join the Church; such ones would have been healed but not restored!

•This brings us back to the necessity of evangelism! #haveJesus #firminChrist

The Lord has said to encourage those of our brethren who feel the prayers and praises offered so far to quench this scourge must be enough to move the Almighty: there is a period, a process and a purpose. And we can never really praise Him enough!

•In this Part we have examined more closely the events before The Intervention from the perspective of the afflicted. In Part IV, by His grace, we shall examine the same period from the other perspective.

Whereas most scripture quotations are from the Authorised (King James’) Version 1611, heavy reliance has again been placed on The New Testament in the Original Greek 1881 by BF Westcott and FJA Hort as reproduced in The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures 1985 by the New World Bible Translation Committee.

What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part IIb.

Good morning, sirs and mas. #Jesus is Lord.

Continuing from Part IIa, may I enjoin us to examine Mark 5: 11 – 20 together as what was heard is shared from past to future?

You can read part IIa here: What the Lord is saying about Covid-19 Part IIa

    Verses: Points and Revelations:

(the particular words from scripture are emboldened)

    11. a. there was nigh unto the mountain a great herd of swine: “the swine” [comment reserved].

    b. feeding as was their routine: “the swine” unbothered, unconcerned, sanctimonious, safe in their own eyes.

    12. a. all the devils: all the dimensions of the problem…

    b. besought him to enter the swine: …will seek permission to afflict “the swine” at The Intervention.

    13. a. and forthwith Jesus gave them leave: immediately this permission is granted…

    b. and the unclean spirits went out: the pandemic will resolve,

    c. and entered into the swine: …but “the swine” will be afflicted:

    d. and the herd ran violently: there will be violence of some sort [comment reserved]…

    e. down a steep place: which will (quickly) escalate…

    f. into the sea: [comment reserved].

    g. and were choked in the sea: …and choking, scarcity of vital resources, in the midst of plenty.

    h. they were about two thousand: [comment reserved].

    14. a. And they that fed the swine: the custodians of “the swine” [comment reserved]…

    b. fled: …will

    (i). be powerless.

    (ii). abandon them.

    c. and told it: there will be publicity for The Intervention.

    d. in the city: locally.

    e. and in the country: and internationally.

    f. and they went out to see what it was that was done: everyone will pay attention.

    15. a. And they come toward Jesus: there will be an initial interest in Jesus Christ and the Christian message.

    b. and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion:

(i). The Intervention will have drawn their attention.

(ii). Note the change in tense in the initial portion of this verse, come and see; [comment reserved].

    c. sitting, and clothed: when the problem goes away, there will be peace and provisions.

    d. and in his right mind: there will be restoration of the afflicted.

    e. [in company of Jesus and his disciples]: the restored will join us.

    f. and they were afraid: everyone will be afraid of the Most High.

    16. a. And they that saw it: the custodians of “the swine”…

    b. told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine: …will publish technical but not spiritual details of The Intervention; see Author’s Comment.
