OPENING PRAYER
Our Father and our God, we bless Your Holy Name.
King of Kings and Lord of Lord, we adore You.
We Thank You for Your Children who are gathered here today,
We Thank You because we know that this Day is going to mark a Turning Point in their lives.
Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
Father, we are committing all Your Children here into Your Hands:
Let it be well with them,
Meet all their Needs,
Support them in every areas of their lives.
And as a result of their coming to Your House today, Please Lord do something New in their lives.
At the end of it all, let Your Name be Glorified.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Well, let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: “Good Morning, God bless you today”.
I want to say: “Happy New Year” to you in Jesus Name.
I Thank God that He made it Possible for me to be among you today.
I believed that in His Miraculous way, He is going to surprise each and everyone of us in Jesus Name – Amen.
Our Bible Text this Morning is going to be Psalm 122:1:
“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the House of the LORD”.
As many of you that are in the House of the Lord today; from this Day onwards, Gladness shall be your Portion – Amen!
You will never know Sorrow again in Jesus Name – Amen.
Why must we be glad because we came into the House of the Lord?
- We are glad because definitely God is going to answer our Prayers today.
How do we know?
The Bible says in Isaiah 55:6 that we should seek the Lord where He may be found and we are to call on Him while He is near.
In other words, God is willing to answer Prayers Provided that you call on Him when He is near enough to hear you.
Now, we have a big Problem here – That Problem is that we can’t see God face-to-face as He is Invincible; and so how do we know when He is near?
When we Pray, we Pray by Faith because we can’t see Him.
Job said: I look to my right, I can’t see God; I look to my left, He is not there; when I looked at my back and front, I can’t even be sure that He is near (DMC NOTES: Job 23:9).
But one thing is certain – If you come to the House of the Lord, He is in the House of the Lord because it is His House.
And so you are sure that when you cry to Him in His House; you are crying to Him when He is near.
And if you are crying to Him when He is near, then you have the assurance that He will hear you and He will answer you.
And so I am decreeing this Morning: That every Prayer that you Pray in this House of God, you will get answer immediately – Amen.
- Why should I be glad if I come to the House of the Lord?
Because I know the House of the Lord is the House of Healing.
Exodus 15:26 He said: I am the Lord that healeth thee
So, if I come to the House of the Healer, it is certain that I will be healed.
In Mark 2: 1-12, the Bible tells us that four (4) People brought a Man to the House of God – Because wherever Jesus is, that is where we call the House of God.
And He is here today – He is here in His House.
Now, they brought this Man to the House of God and when they got there, they found out that so many other People came and so there was no room by the door, no room by the window and these People wanted to get to the House of the Lord at all cost.
So they broke the roof and they lowered the Sick Man to His Presence.
You know the rest of the Story – They carried that Man in, he walked out completely whole.
And so I am decreeing today to everybody who came in Sick; in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, you will go away completely whole – Amen
There was a woman that the Doctors has told that there is nothing we can do for you – You are going to die.
So the children said that well, we better take mama home.
And mama said: Take me to the Headquarters of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
And they told her: Mama, it is not a Service Day – They are not having Digging Deep or Faith Clinic and it is not Sunday Service and so there will be no Pastor there to attend to you.
The woman said that I am not going there to see the Pastor – I am going there to see God.
They brought her to the Church and she asked them to help her to get inside the Church.
She got inside the Church and she said that they should help her to get to one of the Pillars.
She got to the Pillar and touched it.
She says: Ha, ha; I am in the House of God – I have touched one of His Pillars, let us find out who has the Last say: Is it the Doctors or the Great Physician Himself.
And almost instantly she became whole.
I have Good News for Somebody here or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC: You are in the House of God, any Sickness that followed you here will not go back home with you – Amen.
- Why must I be glad for coming to the house of the Lord?
Because the Lord is the Great Deliverer.
When I come to His House, I have come to the House of the One who according to Psalm 24: 7-10 – The One who is called the Lord of Host, the Lord Strong and Mighty, the Lord Mighty in Bible, the Lord who has never lost a war.
And so if I go to His House and there are some Enemies that has been fighting against me, they will come in contact with the One who is the King of Glory Himself.
And definitely when the Lord of Host comes in contact with all these evil forces; I am sure that, that one that they have been troubling will be free indeed.
In Matthew 8: 14-16, the Bible tells us that when Jesus Christ got to the house of the In-Law of Peter and found her laid on the bed Sick of fever.
As soon as He entered that house and touched her, the fever left her and she arose and Ministered unto them.
Now News spread that Jesus Christ is in a Particular house – The Great Deliverer is in a Particular house and everybody around with any form of Sickness, Disease or Demonic attack came to the house and He healed them all and deliver them from all their Problems.
Today, you have come to the House of the Great Deliverer; you will go home completely free – Amen!
There was a very rich woman who had a Problem – The Problem was that whatever she ate, she vomited.
She has been to all manners of Hospitals and they have done all manners of X-rays and whatever rays and she did not get better.
But one day, she came to the Headquarters at Ebute Metta and as I took the Microphone and I said: “Let Somebody shout Hallelujah”; as she shouted Hallelujah, she vomited a worm.
And that was the end of her Problem.
The worm didn’t appear on X-ray and it didn’t appear in any form of Gadgets that Science can use because it was a demonic worm.
But the day she came to the House of God and shouted one Hallelujah, the worm came out and she was never sick again.
And there is Somebody here listening to me today or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC: It doesn’t matter how many demons are hibernating in your Life; if only you can shout a Great Hallelujah; whatever God has not Planted in you will be uprooted today – Amen!
- I was glad when they said: Let us go to the House of the Lord.
Whose House are we going to?
We are going to the House of the One who is called “The Great Promoter”.
The Bible made it clear that Promotion comes from God (DMC NOTES: Psalm 75: 6-7).
And Jesus Christ said in John 12:32 – He said that if I be lifted up, I will draw all Men up to myself.
Jesus Christ is always drawing Men Upwards.
It follows therefore that if I go into His House, I will be lifted up.
In John 5: 2-14, the Bible tells us of a Pool called Bethsaida – And a lot of People: Sick People, Withered People and all manners of People (Blind and Impotent) were there waiting for the Pool to be stirred by the Angel once a Year.
The Bible tells us that when Jesus Christ came to that Pool, that Pool ceased to be an Ordinary Pool again – It became the House of God.
And there was a Man there who has been there for thirty eight (38) years.
And when Jesus Christ arrived there and that Pool now became the House of God; the Man who has been Stagnant, Sick, Sad and Failed for thirty eight (38) years rose up, take up his bed and began to walk.
And the Bible even told us that it was on a Sabbath Day.
So I have Good News for Somebody here Today or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC: You have lacked Promotion for a long time – You work hard but there is nothing to show for it or you have been moving around the sane spot for years; today because you have come to the House of the Great Promoter, your Promotion begins – Amen.
- Why must you be glad when they say: Let us go to the House of God?
Well, because I am being invited to the House of the One who is called “The Fruitful Vine”.
In John 15: 1-5, the Bible made it clear that if you come in contact with this Person who is called “The Vine” so that you can become a Branch of that Vine; the Bible says that you will bring forth much Fruits.
- Why must I be glad when they say: Let us go to the House of the Lord?
Because I know that if I get there, Barrenness will become a Stranger to me – I will become Fruitful.
Not just Fruitful but I will bring forth much Fruits.
So I have Good News for Somebody who has trusting God for the Fruit of the womb – Now that you are in the House of God, in the Name that is above every other name, nine (9) Months from today we will be naming your Child (Amen)
I was invited by one of my children in America to come and eat in his house – I resisted but he insisted.
We agreed that it will be a Private visit – Nobody will know about it because if they know that I have gone to the house of Someone to eat, other fellow will be inviting me.
And so we agreed that it will be a Private visit.
But when I arrived in his house, there were four (4) women beside his wife in his house.
And I said to him that we said that it is going to be a Private visit? He said yes.
Then what are these four (4) women doing? Oh thry are just here to help my wife to cook.
What food am I going to eat that you need five (5) People to cook – Your wife and four (4) others.
Anyway I didn’t know that they have a Plan – I ate and I left.
The following year, I heard the Testimony: That after I left what was left on the plate, these four (4) People gathered round it and each one took a bit.
And they were barren but by the time I saw them next time, when they were sharing their Testimonies; three (3) of them were carrying their children and the fourth (4th) one is six (6) Months Pregnant.
I am not saying that I will come back to your Church next Year (2027) but in the Name that is above every other name, by this time Next Year, there will be no barren women left in this Church – Amen!
- Why must I be glad if they asked me to come to the House of God?
I must be glad because I am being invited to the House of the One who is called “The Burden Bearer”.
Isaiah 53: 4-5 tells us that another Name for Jesus Christ is “The Burden Bearer”.
He carried griefs, sorrows and He will take over whatever is supposed to be your Problem(s).
I am believing God that those of us who has one Problem or the other (Not everyone o) – Those of us who has one Burden or the other, whether Physical, Mental, Financial or Careerwise who are in Church today or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC; the Burden Bearer will carry all our Burdens (Amen).
You know that, that is why He gave us an Invitation.
In Matthew 11: 28-30, He said: “Come unto me, all ye that Labour and are heavy ladened and I will give you rest”.
It doesn’t matter what kind of Problem that you have and it doesn’t matter how long you have had this Problems; because you have come to the Burden Bearer’s House, He will carry away your Burdens – Amen!
☆ You may think that it is a small thing when you give your Life to Jesus Christ.
☆ You may think that it is something that you just do casually when you come to Church,
But I want to give you an example.
And that example is Someone who was heavily ladened and who was Labouring hard but had nothing to show for it because he had all manners of Problems.
Who will go at least once to the Hospital in a week – Either one Child is sick and when that one is well, another Child will pick it up or he himself will be the one going to the Hospital.
And then, that fellow gave his Life to Jesus Christ – And that fellow is me.
And from the day that I put aside all my Pride and Arrogance that I have a PhD et cetera et cetera, and I Surrendered my Life to Jesus Christ, everything changed.
In those days, before I gave my Life to Jesus Christ; because I was afraid of the traffic in Lagos, when the University gave me a loan to buy a car; I made sure that I employed a Driver who can deal with the traffic in Lagos.
I will pay him his Salary at the beginning of the Month but by the middle of the Month; I will be borrowing money from my Driver to buy Petrol.
But then the Lord saved my Soul – He healed me and He healed every Members of my family.
If you go to the University of Lagos Health Center and you asked them for my Medical File; they will tell you that my file was as big as this because Somebody from my family must report at the Health Center every week.
But from that day that I gave my Life to Jesus Christ, that was the last time that I visited the University’s Health Center.
Because God took away my Burden.
And because I don’t need to spend money on rubbish any more; all of a sudden I didn’t have to borrow any money from anybody again.
I have Good News for Somebody here Today or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC: You have come to the House of the Lord and you have come to the House of the Burden Bearer – Whether your Burden is over yourself or your wife or your husband or your children; whatever is the Burden that is weighing you down, if only you will Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ today, those Burdens you will never see them again (Amen).
So the Choice is yours!
I Congratulate you that you have already come to the House of the Lord:
☆ You can go home rejoicing today,
☆ You can go home never sad again,
☆ You can go home knowing fully well that it doesn’t matter what the Doctors may say, in less than a year you will have a Special Thanksgiving as all your Burdens are carried away.
ALTAR CALL
So the Choice is yours!
If you have not yet Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ then this Invitation is for you:
“Come unto me all ye that Labour and are heavy ladened and I will give you rest”.
If you want rest – Total, Permanent and Complete rest, come and Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ today and the tides will turn for you.
So, if you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ and you want to do so now; I ask that you will Please go the Altar right now.
I will count from one (1) to seven (7) – Before I say seven (7), make sure that you are Standing before the Altar.
The Almighty God is waiting there for you and He is willing to take away your Burden.
Now begin to go to the Altar – And I will Pray for you and Jesus Christ will save your Soul.
I am counting now!
Now, those of you who are infront; cry to God and say: Saviour, I have come to You Lord, Please save my Soul and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.
You are the Burden Bearer and I have come to You; Please carry away my Burdens today and I will do Your Will for the rest of my Life.
Go ahead and Pray!
And the rest of us, Please let us Stretch our hands towards these our Brothers and Sisters who has come forward and intercede for them.
Pray that Jesus Christ, the Owner of The Church will save their Souls today.
That the Burden Bearer will save their Souls so that they will become Members of the House of God.
Intercede for them Brethren – That the One who saved your Soul will save their Souls also.
Thank You Father!
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
PRAYER FOR SALVATION
My Father and my God, I want to Thank You very much for Your Word.
And I want to Thank You for these Your Children who has come forward to Surrender their lives to You
Father, Please receive them in Jesus Name,
Forgive all their sins,
Let Your Blood wash them Clean
And Lord, as You are saving their Souls today; write their names in the Book of Life,
And let them become Children of the Living God
And I Pray that from now on, anytime they cry to You, You will answer them by Fire so that all their Problems will be over.
They have come to Your House, Lord God Almighty, let them go back home rejoicing.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Now, I want all of us who believed that God is in His House today, to rise up and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, I want to Thank You very much for Your Children that You have directed to come to Your House this very Day.
I am Praying Lord God Almighty that because they have come into Your House:
You will put an end to all their Sorrows,
That You will put an end to their Sickness,
That You will put an end to their Bondage,
That You will put an end to their Stagnation,
That You will carry away all their Burdens.
I Pray Lord God Almighty that Your Children will never forget today in Jesus Name.
And as they are going to be crying to You now; Father whatever they may ask for today; before the Sun sets today, let it become a Testimony.
Help them oh Lord and let them serve You till the end.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
PERSONAL PRAYER REQUEST
Now, I want you to lift up your hands to the Almighty God and talk to Him and tell Him what are your Burdens.
And cry to Him and say: Father, I have come to Your House today; Please carry away all my Burdens.
Go ahead and talk to the Lord for about 5 Minutes.
And He will take care of all your Problems – Amen.
