OPENING PRAYER
Our Eternal Father; the King of kings and the Lord of lords. The I AM THAT I AM, the Ancient of Days!
The same God yesterday, the same God today, the same God forever!
The One who is Higher than the highest; the One who is Mightier than the mightiest, the One who called forth Light and light is Established: we Worship You!
We give You ALL the Praises for the past Special Holy Ghost Services; and we Thank You because tonight is the Night You have set aside for us to be Blessed;
And tonight by the Unction of Your Word, and by the Grace at work in this Place; we Pray that everyone under the sound of my voice (and reading now), Your Light will SHINE, in the Name of Jesus!
Our Father, we Pray that tonight Your Words will come expressly; it will bring Light into every dark areas of our lives, in the Name of Jesus!
Thank You Father; for in Jesus’ Mighty Name, we have Prayed – Amen!
… Let somebody Shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Tonight, we will be talking on the Topic: “LET THERE BE LIGHT – PART 3.”
And we will just quickly be looking at our Anchor TEXT – GENESIS 1:1-3;
… And I will read quickly;
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Brethren, critically this evening, we will be looking at this Scriptures in context; and the Lord will be leading us to see Three (3) Things from this Scripture:
- What Darkness is;
- What Light is;
- The Properties of Light.
By Definition: WHAT IS DARKNESS?
Darkness is simply the absence of LIGHT.
… So, I want to tell you tonight, that Darkness is not the Opposite of Light.
… Darkness is simply the absence of Light.
WHY? – Because darkness cannot be measured; darkness cannot be quantified. Darkness is an entity!
When darkness exists in the life of a man; that man’s life is full of confusion; that man’s life is full of emptiness; that man’s life is full of
instability.
But tonight I Pray for someone under the sound of my voice (or reading now); whatever represents Darkness in your life shall vanish today like vapour, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
Brethren, there are two (2) Premises in life:
There is the Premise of Light; where God dwells.
And there is the Premise of Darkness; where the Devil dwells.
Now, going back to our Anchor Scriptures, I just want to start from Verse 2 – “And the Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.”
Brethren, God could not start Creation until He addressed the portion of that Darkness upon the surface of the deep.
And what did the Alpha and Omega do?
What He did was simple – It was to INVOKE His Spirit upon the surface of the waters; to BROOD over the surface!
Brethren, in Agriculture, I know that a Mother Hen will lay over her eggs and will brood over the eggs – until a life is birth.
And I want to announce to someone tonight, that “Let the Word of God in you, that has been longing for a Miracle, start brooding – Amen.”
Because when our father in the Lord shall come, and will bring forth God. Brethren, the more you brood, the quicker your Testimony; the more you brood, the faster your Miracle!
And I Pray tonight, you will not miss your Miracle, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
2. The Second (2nd) Thing that the Spirit of the Lord was doing over the surface of the deep, was to released what is called: “A CATALYST for Creation!”
Brethren, in Science, we know that “a CATALYST is a substance that speeds up a Chemical reactions without itself being used up.”
Now, when the Word of the Lord is Brooding over a situation, it serves as a Catalyst to speed up a reaction.
Now, what Catalyst do you need as a Believer to speeds up the appearance of the Light in your life.
… I will mention a few quickly:
What Catalyst do you need as a Believer, to speed up the appearance of Light or to change the Premise where you are, to a Premise where you will PRODUCE A MIRACLE?
- You Brood with His WORD.
In John 1:1-3, the Bible speaks that: In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God;
And in Verse 3, it says: “There was nothing that was made without the Word.”
Brethren, there is a CREATIVE POWER in the Word of God.
And as you Brood over the Word of the Lord, then a Miracle is set to happen in your life.
And I decree tonight; by the time the Word of the Lord comes to you, it will PRODUCE a Miracle in your life, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
… You are missing a better opportunity to shout a believing Amen – AMEN!
2. You Brood with your TESTIMONIES – Your past Victories.
If God did it before, He can do it again and again, and again!
Testimony activates energy in you, to tell you that God can do it again.
And when the Light of God SHINES, it can PRODUCE a Miracle!
One (1) of the examples I love in the Scriptures is in 1 Samuel 17:34-37;
David confronted Goliath: he was about to quench the rage in Darkness called Goliath – by his past TESTIMONIES.
At some point, he was telling the king: “I was in the wilderness, a Bear came, and I killed the Bear; a Lion came, I killed the Lion!
… All of those Testimonies cumulated into what produced the Victory he got!
I Pray for someone under the sound of my voice tonight (or reading now); every Goliath in your life SHALL FALL, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
3. How do you Brood for a Miracle?
You Brood with your PRAISES;
In Acts 16:25-26, the Bible speaking says: Paul and Silas, they Prayed, they sang Praises unto the Lord. The Prisoners heard them.
And suddenly, the Bible says:
“… AND SUDDENLY, there was an earthquake!”
Do you know why there was an Earthquake?
… God INHABITS the Praises of His People!
So God came down, and the foundation of the building of the Prison could not carry the WEIGHT of God – and so there was an Earthquake!
I Pray tonight for someone under the sound of my voice (or reading now) that God will Show Up in your case tonight – Amen.
Ah! God will SHOW UP in your case tonight; and every Prison doors shut against your Life; every Prison doors shut against your Destiny; every Prison doors shut against your Advancement in life, shall be shattered in the Name of JESUS – Amen.
4. How do you Brood?
You Brood by PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST – Praying in the Spirit!
In the Book of Ephesians 6:18, The Bible says: You Pray continuously in the Spirit; you Pray always in the Spirit.
… And then, you will see the Victory of the Lord!
Brethren, I want to announce to you that “Strange Situations demand STRANGE LANGUAGE.”
… “Strange Situations demand Strange Language!”
When you Pray in the Spirit, you turn the atmosphere; and you bring the atmosphere into the Premise where God can ACT.
So, that was just a bit of introduction. Now;
“And GOD SAID: “Let there be Light (2ce)!”
And I was asking myself a few questions as I was reading through that Scriptures;
That the Word came, I would have expected the Bible to say: God said, let there be Light.
… But it said: “AND” God said!
The word “AND” there is a Conjunction – connecting the preceding statement; connecting it to the next statement.
That simply means: “Without that preliminary BROODING of the Spirit on the surface of the Waters, there will be no Light.
And I decree tonight by the Unction of the Holy Ghost, and by the Grace of my father; that every Darkness in your life shall be shattered, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
Brethren, what are the implications of this Scripture “AND God said: let there be Light?”
… What are the GROSS IMPLICATIONS?
- In the Book of 1John1:5; God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness (2).
That simply means that when God said: Let there be Light; we can also reframe that same Scripture by saying:
“And God said: Let there be God!”
… And God said: “I am bringing Myself into existence”.
No Wonder (3ce); it was on the Fourth (4th) Day that Sun was created!
Because God brought Himself into existence, and He gave Light to the Creation, until the fourth (4th) day.
Amen – AMEN!
What is also the implication of this?
It simply means that everyone under the sound of my voice (or reading now): no Power will stop what God will do in your life – Amen!
Ah! No power will stop what God wants to do in your, life in the Name of Jesus.
2. The Second (2nd) implication of this Scriptures is in James 1:17;
It says: “Every Good and Perfect Gift is from Above and from the Father of Light.”
… Brethren, God is the Father of Light!
How many children of God do we have in this Place? Can you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
If God is your Father and you are not SHINING Light, it is an Error!
WHY? – A child of an Elephant will not Pray to grow BIG; because it carries the DNA to grow Big inside it.
No matter how much a Rat eats, it cannot grow Big; because it doesn’t have the DNA to grow Big inside of it.
Brethren, if you carry the DNA of God inside you (by Salvation) then you are the Carrier of Light!
… So everywhere you go, you Express Light – Amen!
And I Pray for someone under the sound of my voice tonight (or reading now); that your Light will SHINE – Amen!
I want you to be serious about it; tap your neighbour and say it affirmatively. Say: Neighbour, I am a Child of LIGHT!
… If you believe it, shout a loud Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
So where God is, there is no Darkness. It is in the Book of John 1:5, “… that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”
And I was asking myself, why would Darkness run away from Light?
… It is because Darkness cannot understand Light!
Because Darkness cannot understand Light it simply walks out of Light.
So Light does not beg Darkness; it simply SUBDUES it!
And that is why I know tonight, when our father in the Lord will come up to Pray over your life; everything representing darkness in your life will be shattered, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
So I need you to stop complaining about the Darkness around you; stop complaining about the Darkness around your family; stop complaining about the Darkness around your Nation.
All you need to do is to BOOST your Energy Source and SHINE BRIGHTER.
In the Book of Proverbs 4:18; the Bible says: “But the Path of the righteous is like the shining light that shineth more and more until the Perfect Day.”
So I want you to always remember this:
“The Relevance of Light is in darkness. – The RELEVANCE of Light is in Darkness!
If not, the day we gave our lives to Christ, God would have harvested us back to Heaven.
But because He needed us to SHINE His Light on the Earth; to give Light to every dark area of the Earth.
… That is why we are still here!
You will not loose your Light, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
Now, the last aspect of this, quickly;
WHAT ARE THE PROPERTIES OF LIGHT?
- Light travels in a straight line.
That same James 1:17, it says: “In Him there is no variableness;”
There is no crookedness, because Light travels in a Straight Line: Light has Precision and Accuracy!
So in your life as a Believer, you must be characterised by Precision and Accuracy.
WHY? – Because if you are not straight forward; if you are not upright with the Lord; there is no way you can go to Heaven.
And so you must stick to this Property of Light!
And you may be asking yourself; How can I have this Accuracy and Precision?
It is there in the Book of John 1:12, the Bible speaking, it says: “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name:”
… He has given them the Power to become sons of God!
And I Pray tonight that every crooked thing in your life shall be made Straight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
2. Because Light Travels in a Straight Line, it has TREMENDOUS SPEED of about three hundred thousand (300,000) Miles per Second.
… Can you see how fast Light goes? – It has tremendous Speed!
So everyone that the Light of God will Shine upon today; that will start shinning God’s Light, will enjoy Uncommon Speed!
In the Book of 1 Kings 18:46, the Bible says: “And the Hand of the Lord (the Hand of Light) came upon Elijah, and he OUTRAN the finest and the best Horses in Israel.
I ask the Lord tonight, that He will release Uncommon SPEED on somebody’s life – Amen.
… The louder your Amen, the faster it gets to you.
Let your Amen sound like thunder!
Tap your neighbour, say: Neighbour, overtaking is allowed!
… Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
3. LIGHT CANNOT BE HIDDEN.
Matthew 5:14-16; it says: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid….”
I Pray for someone under the sound of my voice tonight (or reading now) that the Lord will make you a Light in your Household – Amen!
The Lord will make you a Light in your in your Family – Amen!
The Lord will make you a Light in your in your Nation, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
And I Pray by the Unction of the Holy Ghost, that tonight, anything covering your Rising expires today, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
… LIGHT CANNOT BE HIDDEN!
I will quickly share this Story; There was a time I was travelling from Ado Ekiti (Ekiti State in Nigeria) back to Ebonyi State (Nigeria).
And as I was going (it was on a Saturday) I never knew it was Sanitation – it was Clean up Day!
And I got arrested along the way. And there Policemen told me that I should wait for the Magistrate to come and pass his verdict; and then I will pay some fine.
And as I was waiting for the Magistrate to come; all of a sudden I heard a convoy passing with siren blaring.
And at that point, I thought it was the Magistrate; so I was happy. At least he should pass his judgement, and I will pay whatever the fine is.
… Because I needed to be in Church the following day (it was on a Saturday)!
And while I was there, the convoy passed! It was not up to three (3) minutes, the convoy came back. And when they came back, they stopped at the Police Station.
And I was surprised; the Big Man in the convoy walked down straight towards me, and he said: “Are you a Pastor?”
He said: “While I was passing, I saw an aura on your head – and something told me, go back and set that man free!”
He said: “I am not a Christian; but I heard, go back and set him free!”
Then the next thing he said was: “Where is the DPO (Deputy Police Officer)?”
And the DPO appeared!
He said – we are the Law Makers; I can decide that today, everyone should follow this door, and tomorrow I will lock it and say, everyone follow the next door!
Tomorrow again, I can decide that everyone should follow that door, and the day after I will lock it and say, everyone follow the next door.
So because of this man, everyone you have arrested, give them back their Car Keys and let them go.
WHY? – Because Light cannot be Hidden!
I Pray for someone under the sound of my voice tonight (or reading now); in the Name of Jesus – the One that created the Heavens and the Earth: your Light will no longer be HIDDEN – Amen.
Your Light is not hidden so that you attract Destiny Helpers.
Finally, when a White Light hits you or comes across a clean prism or a crystal; we know that one of the Properties of Light is that: As soon as it goes through that crystal or prism, it will produces seven (7) different Beautiful Colours.
Brethren, the White Light is God, and the angle at which the Light is hitting the prism is your Salvation experience; and the Glass Prism is your heart.
If the prism is Dirty, it can’t shine forth bright colours. If the Glass is dirty, there is no way it can reflect beautiful colours.
Brethren, for you to express and show the world the beauty in Jesus; the beauty of God, your heart must be Sanctified.
… Your heart must be clean, and your heart pure!
In Isaiah 1:18, no matter how dirty your heart is, no matter the kind of sin you have indulged yourself in;
By the time our father in the Lord comes up to make the Altar call, please don’t hesitate; RUN to the front and let your heart be purged.
Let your heart be cleaned; so that you can SHINE forth the beauty of God.
Then you can be the Reflector of the Beautiful Wonders of God!
Can we rise up on our feet quickly as we Pray.
Thank You JESUS!
You are going to cry to the Lord and say, my Father, my Father!
… Is God Really your Father? Is that how you call your Father?
Shout it loud, say: My Father, my Father; purge my heart so I can reflect the beauty of Your Wonders to the world, as You SHINE through me.
Can you go ahead and Pray, in the Name of Jesus – PRAY!!!
