BIBLE TEXT: ROMANS 9:10-13

Let’s lift our hands to the Most High God and Bless His Holy Name. Let’s Worship the Ancient of Days, the Unchangeable Changer. Praise Him, Give Him all the Glory, give Him all the Honour, give Him Adoration. There is no one like Him; Worship Him; Worship Him! Thank You Father, Glory be to Your Holy Name oh God. Thank You Saviour, Blessed be Your Holy Name.

In Jesus Mighty Name Name we have worshipped – Amen.

1. I want you to lift your voice to the Almighty God (loud and clear) and say Father; in this Nonth of Grace, please be gracious unto me. Open your mouth and cry unto Him.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

OPENING PRAYER:

Eternal Rock of Ages we bless Your Holy Name. Thank You for bringing us into the Month of May. Thank You for this Month of Grace. Please accept our worship in Jesus’ Name.

In this Month of Grace Father, please be gracious unto us. Do something Mighty in ALL our lives today.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

Let someone shout hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Well, shake hand with one (1) or two (2) people, say: “God will be gracious unto you today”.

And then, you may please be seated.

BIBLE TEXT: ROMANS 9:10-13

10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Thank You Father!

We learnt at the May Holy Ghost Service that though we were created equal; we were NOT Born equal – Some people are BORN TO WIN!

How many Winners are here this morning already?

Oh yes, The DMC Crew Members are in Jesus Name!

Let me hear you shout hallelujah – Hallelujah!

… And some are born to Lose!

But some were Born to WIN and they end up losing; some are born to Lose but they end up Winning. Why? Because God is SOVEREIGN – He does as He pleases in the course of Heaven.

But He also allows you to participate in what ultimately will happen to you.

In Jeremiah 29:11, He said: “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

… In other words: “there’s an end that I AM expecting for you”

But at times what you expect is not what happens – because it depends on the individual.

In Genesis 4:1, Cain was born to Win but he lost. He was the firstborn of ALL human race. He should have been a great Winner.

But by the time you get to Genesis 4:13-15; the one who is supposed to be No.1 citizen of the world became a Vagabond.

In the Name that is above every other names, you will not be a loser.

Whereas in 1 Kings 17:8-16; the Bible tells us about the son of a widow; born as it were, at the wrong time. A time when Israel was deep in idolatry; that led to God calling for a famine. He was going to die young, with his mother.

But the boy who was born to lose ended up a Winner.

Why? Because, just before he was to commit suicide, a Prophet walked in and the Tides TURNED!

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, for everyone of you: the Tide will TURN for the better today!

Because in 2 Chronicles 20:20; the Word of God makes it clear: if you would believe God, you will be established. If you believe His Prophet, you will Prosper.

Later on, death came back for the same boy in 1 Kings 17:17-14; death was determined to kill this boy at a young age. It was as if he was born to lose. But then, the Anointing CHASED death away. And the boy who was born to lose became a Winner.

If there is anything at all in your destiny that is evil, I decree today: it shall be changed for good – Amen.

Now, what is the difference between Cain who was born to Win but Lost. And the son of the widow who was born to lose and became a Winner?

It will amaze you that it all has to do with “GIVING” – Yes Giving!

The mother of the boy who was born to lose, GAVE!

When the Man of God came and said: Give me food, she said, I have only one (1) meal left for my son and myself to eat and then the end comes. The Man of God said: No, give me the food first and the Tide will TURN! She agreed (by Faith).

It is because the mother gave, that the son survived. It was because the widow gave that the Man of God decided: this must be the Widow God has in mind for me to stay with.

That was why the Man of God stayed in her house. And that is why when death came the second time, the Man of God chased it away.

She gave sacrificially; Because it is written in Psalm 20:1-3; the Almighty God said: in the day of trouble, God will remember your OFFERINGS.

So am decreeing into everyone of you: it doesn’t matter what is coming upon the world, God will remember your offerings – Amen!

But in Genesis 4: 3-7; what happened to Cain? It is time to give an offering to God, and he gave an offering that was not acceptable to God. That was the beginning of his downfall.

When God rejected his offering and accepted the offering of his brother (Abel); he became angry. And God said: why are you angry? If you did the right thing would you not be accepted? Instead of repenting; he went ahead and killed his brother.

He was the firstborn of mankind, and he was the first murderer.

That’s why he became a Vagabond. And it all has to do with GIVING!

When God asks you to give, it is for your own good. You refuse to do what He asks you to do: you will be the Loser. And you do what He wants you to do: You will be a Winner.

STORY

I will tell you a story and we will go and pray. It’s a story some of you have heard before.

… God is not a beggar. You can even bring something to Him and He will say: I don’t want. What are you going to do then?

I told you the story of a man (a Chief) who came to the Church at Ebute Metta (RCCH National Headquarters) when we were very, very small and very, very poor. Our Speakers and our Amplifiers were old (they were funny). Because many at times we have to slap them before they will work.

And then this man came to the Church (in flowing robes), and he bought brand new Equipment: Amplifiers, Speakers – Beautiful Things!

And he BREEZED in (in his flowing robes): This is what I have brought to God.

And God spoke to us loud and clear: Tell him to take away his gifts, I don’t want them.

… If we didn’t know the voice of the Lord, we would have said: get thee behind Satan! Because, we were already so happy.

Reluctantly, we had to tell him: sorry Sir, Go- Go – God said (you know how you stammer when you don’t want to say what God says). God asked us to tell you to take away your gifts He doesn’t want them.

He said: what do you mean?

That is what God said: He doesn’t want them, take them away!

God rejected my gift?

YES! He went to one (1) of the pillars in the Church and began to bang his head against the pillar (in great sorrow) weeping, sobbing.

I have never seen that kind of sorrow before.

My prayer is that I will never see it again. He said: God rejected my gifts? That means God has rejected me. That’s the truth!

When you give to God, please know: you are not doing God a favour. You are doing yourself a favour.

The difference between a Loser and a Winner; between Cain and the son of the widow is in GIVING.

Before you give anything to God at all: GIVE yourself – give your life. Surrender everything to Him. After all, whatever you have, He gave you (including your life).

ALTAR CALL

So if you are here this morning and you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ: you are doing yourself a great harm. But if you would surrender to Him now, you will be doing yourself a Favour.

So am going to count from one (1) to five (5). If you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, come now as I begin to count. If by the time I say five (5) you are not already standing before me; I know you are not coming. And we would pray and continue the Programme.

Am counting now….

Even if you were born to lose; if you give your life to Jesus Christ everything will change.

Now those of you who are already here, talk to Jesus Christ: Ask Him to please have Mercy on you; save your soul. And Promise Him that from now on, you will serve Him and you will obey Him.

And the rest of us, let us stretch our hands towards and intercede for these our brethren, and pray: That the One who saved our souls will save their souls also. Intercede for them!

Now those of you in front; open your mouth and talk to the Almighty God: Save my soul, I don’t want to be a Loser. Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God: am sorry for all my sins, please just have Mercy on me and save my soul. Have Mercy on me!

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Father we want to bless Your Holy Name. We want to Thank You very much for Your Words this morning. I want to Thank You for all those who have have come forward to surrender their lives to You. Father please remember Your Promise: That whosoever will come unto You, You will in no wise cast out. They have come to You, please receive them in Jesus’ Name.

Save their souls, Forgive all their sins; let Your Blood wash away their sins. And Please Lord, write their names in the “Book of Life”. And from now on, oh Lord, anytime they call on You, please answer them by Fire.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – AMEN.

Praise the Lord!

Now those of you who have come forward, I rejoice with you. From now on (by the Grace of God) I will be praying for you. And so am going to need your names, your address and your prayer request.

If you turn to your left, you will see somebody there with a Placard; kindly follow him. He will take you to where some Pastors are waiting; they will collect the information that I want. And then bring you back quickly. And I promise you I will be praying for you.

Go ahead, give the Lord a Big, Big round of applause – AMEN!

Now, we are about to PRAY!

But I want us to combine two (2) things – We are going to give our offerings (make it the kind of offering He will not reject). As soon as you have prepared your offerings, you will stand on your feet, and we are going to pray two (2) prayers very quickly.

… As soon as you drop your offerings; we are going to pray two (2) PRAYERS:

1. And the first prayer will be: Father, in Your Great Mercy please don’t refuse me; don’t refuse my offering. Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God.

… In Jesus Mighty Name!

1. And then you pray your second prayer, and say Father; Don’t let me be a loser For the rest of my life, let me be a WINNER all the way. Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed.

And so shall it be in Jesus’ Name – Amen!

Well, the Bible says God loves a cheerful giver. So cheerfully dance to the nearest basket and give your offering.

… Over to you BAND.

AMEN!

Now, before I pray for you; there are some people who wrote asking that we pray for them SPECIALLY. And we replied that they should come to Divine Encounter. If you are one of such please come forward, so we can pray for you now.

And the rest of us (wherever we are) let us begin to ask God for whatever we want Him to do for us in the Month of May (2019).

… So you can go ahead and ask God for something SPECIAL for the Month of Grace. Whatever you want God to do for you, you have only two (2) minutes.

And for those of you coming forward; go ahead, tell God what you want Him to do for you, too. So I can join my Faith with yours: and He will do it for us.

Thank You Jesus; Thank You Father!

… Let us begin to bring our prayers to a close.

FINAL PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You once again for Your Words. And I want to Thank You for these Your Children here (asking for SPECIAL PRAYERS) before they left home Father, You knew their problems. Please solve the problems at the Altar. Please Lord, when they go, don’t let them be disappointed on the way. In Jesus’ Name.

Give them their Miracles today; give them their Testimonies today; answer ALL their PRAYERS; give them their heart desires. In Jesus’ Name.

And everything these Your children say they want in the Month of May, Father before the end of this week; give unto them.

Father, bless the offerings of Your children, sanctify it; use it for Your Glory.

I pray Lord God Almighty: none of these Your children will be losers. Let all of us be WINNERS all the way!

Thank You Almighty God. In Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!
