TOPIC: “BORN TO SING GOD’S PRAISE”.

BIBLE TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 1:6-12

1. Go ahead and worship the Almighty God. Give Him all Honour, Give Him all Adoration, bless His Holy Name, Praise Him. He is worthy, He is worthy to be PRAISED! There is no one like Him. Give Him Glory, Give Him Honour, Give Him Adoration. Bless His Holy Name. Worship Him. Thank You, Thank You Lord. Blessed be Your Holy Name. Oh, Thank You Daddy. Thank You my Father and my God. Blessed be your Holy Name (3ce).

In Jesus Mighty Name Name we have worshipped – Amen.

1. Now lift your voices to Him and say Father, this very day let me have an Encounter with You.

Go ahead talk to the Almighty God: This very day Lord, let me have an Encounter with You. Almighty God, this very day, let me have an Encounter with You.

Thank You Lord. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

OPENING PRAYER:

King of all kings, Lord of all lords. The Most High God. The One who is High and lifted Up. The Holy One of Israel. The Lord God Almighty; we worship You. Please accept our worship in Jesus’ Name.

Today Your children are here again. Today like never before, let every one of us have an Encounter with You. Let this be a very Special Month in all our lives. Do something Mighty for us oh Lord, and we will Praise You for ever in Jesus’ Name.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Now let someone shout hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Then shake hands with one (1) or two (2) people, say: “Good morning, God bless you Mightily”.

And then, you may please be seated.

BIBLE TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 1:6-12

6 And Solomon went up thither to the brasen altar before the LORD, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it.

7 In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.

8 And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

9 Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?

11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:

12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

To prosper DILIGENCE is essential.

Proverbs 22:29 says: “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”

… Someone who is DILIGENT; sooner or later, will become prosperous.

In addition to diligence, SOWING is needed.

Because everything that goes on in the world revolves round one central Law: The Law of HARVEST!

Galatians 6:7 says: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

… Don’t let anybody deceived you: God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows, that’s what he shall reap.

The Law of Harvest is so MIGHTY, that if all the farmers were to go on strike and say: WE WILL NOT PLANT THIS YEAR. And then they go on strike next year; and say: WE WILL NOT PLANT AGAIN THIS YEAR.

I guarantee you by the time they have been on strike for three (3) years, the world will be on its knees with hunger.

Sowing is needed.

And according to 2 Corinthians 9:6: “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”

… The more you SOW, the more you REAP!

But when you talk about Diligence, and you talk about Sowing; you must take note that EVERYTHING still depends on God. Because Hebrew 11:6 says He is the rewarder of the DILIGENT.

… If you are diligent, and God is not there to reward you; there will be nothing to show for it.

The Elders have a saying: It’s not how hard that you work that will determine how rich you will be. They say; you can work like a slave and there will be nothing to show for it.

The Bible says: it is the Blessing of the Lord that maketh rich and added no sorrow to it.

Sowing is important, but according to 1 Corinthians 3:6-7; it doesn’t matter who sows, it is God who gives the Increase.

Paul may plant, Apollos may water. But it is God that gives the increase.

Even if you sow on good soil, according to Matthew 13:3-8; even when you sow on good soil, the harvest still varies.

Some thirty (30) fold, some sixty (60) fold, some a hundred (100) fold. When you sow even on good soil; God still determines the level of harvest.

So according to Ecclesiastes 9:11, the Bible makes it clear: the race is not to the swift.

The fastest is not always the one who will win. The most hardworking is not always the one who will be the most successful.

So Romans 9:16 says: “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”

So the CRUCIAL element in succeeding is not the Diligennce, it’s not the Sowing. But in MAKING GOD HAPPY.

And what is it that He is looking for, that will surely make Him happy?

According to John 4:24; He is looking for those who will Worship Him – Worship Him!

So when you find someone who is a Worshipper, sooner or later, he is going to prosper Mightily without any doubt at all.

Yes, he must be Diligent. Yes, he must be a Sower. But if he or she is also a Worshipper: he’s (she’s) going to prosper in a manner that will astound people.

For example, in 1 Samuel 16:11-13; we met a boy called David. He was a Shepherd boy: Unrecognized by parents, unrecognized by brothers – Ordinary Shepherd boy.

But, before he died, he singlehandedly provided for the building of one of the greatest Temples ever built!

1 Chronicles 29:1-5; he said: out of my own resources I have provided three thousand (3,000) Talents of Gold; seven thousand (7,000) Talents of Silver; Iron, Brass, other things, uncountable.

Bible Scholars calculated the amount of money this man said he provided, they say it runs to Billions of Dollar – Singlehandedly!

Can you imagine somebody coming to me, and say: Daddy, I understand that you are building a new Auditorium (3 Kilometers by 3 Kilometer), I don’t want any announcement made concerning that Project any longer; I will finish it.

… How many of you will love that one to be your own Testimony? – THE DMC MEMBERS!

I mean, somebody coming to me and say: Not only will I finish whatever remains; whatever anybody has contributed before, I will refund!

That is what David did! He said: I will build the House of God. God said, you can’t build it, your son will build it. He said; no problem! I will provide everything needed. Not only to build the Temple; not only to furnish the Temple; but for years to come, to maintain the Temple.

In the Name that is above every other names, I want to Prophesy to somebody here today (or reading); that a day will come: what I have just said (that sounds like an impossible thing) will become easy for you to do – Amen!

And what is the SECRET OF DAVID?

What moved him from a poor Shepherd boy, to somebody who can singlehandedly build one of the Wonders of the Ancient world.

Psalms 34:1-3; he said: “I will bless the LORD at ALL TIMES: his Praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. Magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.”

He said: I AM BORN TO PRAISE GOD. And he said; I will Praise Him all the days of my life. And then he went on to say: you can join me if you like.

“When we are BORN TO PRAISE GOD; then we are born to PROSPER EXCEEDINGLY.”

And in the Text (2 Chronicles 1:6-12); I read to you, it considered Solomon.

Solomon decided: I will do more than my father did. I will Worship God in a manner nobody had ever worshipped Him before. And the Almighty God said: in that case, you will be a King like no King before, you will be a King like no King ever again.

I am believing God for someone, who right now may not amount to anything; but one day, when they are talking about the richest people in the whole world, they will mention your name – Amen!

When I gave my life to Jesus Christ, and suddenly I realized that with all my education, I was going to Hell (and I didn’t know it). And the Almighty God in His infinite Mercy picked me out of a group of blasphemers.

Because in my group then (in the Campus) when we have taken a bottle of beer; after we have discussed Politics for some time, we always turn our attention on Jesus Christ (to mock Him). To say ooh, He was a very clever man. He said that if you look on a woman (just looking on a woman) you have committed adultery. But when a woman came, and was washing His feet with tears, and wiping it with the hair of her head, and somebody said: eh woman, why are you doing this? Jesus Christ said: mind your own business!

We were blaspheming. But Jesus picked me out of that group and saved my soul.

When all of a sudden I realised how close to Hell I had been. And this Almighty God (that I was blaspheming) snatched me out of the jaws of Hell. I made up my mind: I will bless the Lord at all times. His Praise shall continually be where? – IN MY MOUTH.

That is why you find that at least once a year (during the RCCG Annual Convention), I wear the flowing gown (which many people know that I don’t like wearing) to come and stand before His people and sing His Praise.

… And SING HIS PRAISES!

So am not surprised that he picked somebody who for the first eighteen (18) years of his life had no pair of shoes. And put him in a position where he can say: God is working overtime taking care of me.

… That will be your Testimony – Amen!

We are born to Praise God. And if you Praise Him; He will give you a Divine Encounter that will banish poverty from your life for ever – Amen!

Stand on your feet and shout hallelujah – Hallelujah!!!

So they say: why is it that he is always shouting hallelujah?

Why is it that he is always singing hallelujah?

Because I know one (1) of the greatest secrets of success is TO PRAISE HIM.

But then, how can you Praise Him if He hasn’t saved your soul?

You have to taste Him, to know that the Lord is Good.

ALTAR CALL

So if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, you want to taste Him like I tasted Him. You want to escape from hell like I escaped from hell (through His help) – Then Come NOW!

I will count from one (1) to four (4). If by the time I say four (4) you are not already standing before me; I know you are not coming. And then the rest of us will be able to continue with the rest of the Programme.

So if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, come now as am counting now….

He saved my soul, and I decided to be a Worshiper.

And He changed everything – He changed everything!

If you come to Him, He will save your soul too. He will forgive your sins and give you a brand New Beginning.

Thank You Father! Keep coming, keep coming; you are not late yet. Thank You Father – Amen!

Now those of you who are already in front and those of you who are already on the way (or reading now) talk to the Lord. Ask Him to please have Mercy on you; Ask Him to save your soul. Promise Him: you will Praise Him forever if only He will forgive all your sins and save your souls.

And the rest of us, let us stretch our hands to these our new brothers and sisters and intercede for for them. That the One who had saved us will save them too. Intercede for them brothers! Intercede for them sisters! Pray that the Almighty God, the All Sufficient God, the One we are BORN TO PRAISE, will have Mercy on them and save their souls.

…Thank You Father! If anyone else is still coming, hurry up now, because we are about to pray for Salvation.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God I want to Thank You for Your Words. I want to Thank You for all those who have have come forward to give their lives to You, please receive them in Jesus’ Name. Save their souls, in Jesus’ Name. Forgive all their sins; let Your Blood wash away their sins. Lord, please write their names in the “Book of Life”. Lord, receive them into the Family of God. And from now on, anytime they call on You, please answer them by Fire. And let them serve You till the end.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – AMEN.

Those of you in front, let me hear you shout hallelujah – Hallelujah!

I want to assure you that from now on (by the Grace of God) I will be Praying for you. So I need your names, your address and your prayer request.

So if you turn to your left, you will see a man with a Placard; please follow him. He will take you to where some Pastors are waiting; they will collect the information I need, and they will bring you back quickly. God bless you, you can begin to go now. God bless you!

This morning, I just want us to PRAISE GOD until He Himself will look down from Heaven and say: I think this boy deserves a breakthrough; this girl deserves a breakthrough.

I want you to join me in singing first, before you then go ahead and Praise Him on your own.

Amen! When you say you are going to sing a JOYFUL SONG, do it Joyfully. He is not forcing you – you know? So sing Joyfully; sing alive!

Now, you go ahead and sing your own songs to Him. Go ahead and sing any song of your choice. Praise Him, Adore Him, Magnify His Holy Name. If He has been so good to you, let Him hear you Praising Him……

Thank You my Father. Hallelujah Lord. Glory be to Your Holy Name. Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have WORSHIPPED – Amen!

THANKSGIVING OFFERING

Now, while we are still standing (in an attitude of Worship), let us take a very Special Offering for the Almighty God today. An offering that will show Him that we are Grateful.

Because the Elders have a saying: If the child is Grateful for what was done yesterday, he/she will receive more!

So very quickly, let us take our offering. We are not even going to pray; we are just going to Thank Him. So take your offering and dance (with all your heart) to the next basket. Keep dancing, keep Praising God. Believing that before the end of this Month your own Financial Breakthrough will come (Amen).

So take your offerings, and then go ahead and Praise Him. I know the Choir have their own song, but if they don’t mind, I want to do my own singing this morning (laughs!).

Well, those who asked for SPECIAL PRAYERS; who wrote and we invited them to come to the Divine Encounter. They can move close.

I believed your prayers are already answered. But you can come to the Altar and tell God what it is that is bothering you.

The rest of us, because we have Worshipped Him; I am sure He is going to give us something in return.

So if there is anything SPECIAL you want Him to give you for the Month of June, go ahead, talk to God for two (2) minutes. Just for two (2) minutes now.

… Oh, Thank You my Father.

And those of you who wrote, as soon as you come forward, begin to tell Him what it is you want from Him. So that I can join my Faith with yours. And then we will call on the Almighty God and He will put a New Song in our mouth.

Thank You Father! Let us begin to bring our Prayers to a close. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

FINAL PRAYERS

My Father and my God, we just want to say: THANK YOU! Thank You, that we can even come here this day (or read this message). Thank You because we know You hear Prayers. And we know You always answer prayers. Accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

On behalf of these Your children asking You for something SPECIAL; am asking Lord God Almighty, that this very day You will answer them. In order that they may be able to sing a New Song of Joy, a New Song of Praise. Lord God Almighty, before they get home today, give them their Testimonies.

Because You are the ALMIGHTY GOD; this very day, in the lives of everybody here (or reading now) prove Yourself to be the Almighty. Put a New Song in our mouth. And Lord, even by Friday, let everyone here (or reading) be ready to Testify.

Thank You for providing for Your children. Thank You for the Grace to Sow. Father I pray that what the have sown this morning will be returned to them in hundredfold.

Thank You Almighty God. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – AMEN!
