OPENING PRAYER:

1. Shall we lift our hands to The Most High God and begin to bless His Holy Name. Let’s give Him Glory, let’s give Him Honour. Let’s give Him Adoration, let’s worship The Almighty God.

Let’s worship The King of kings, The Lord of lords, The Ancient of days. Let’s bless His Holy Name, let’s bless His Holy Name, let’s Bless His Holy Name!

Let’s give Him Glory, let’s give Him Honour. Thank Him for what He has been doing for you since the beginning of the Year. It’s not all of us who said ‘Happy New Year’, who are still here today.

Let’s bless His Holy Name. Let’s bless His Holy Name, let’s bless His Holy Name!

Give Him Glory, give Him Honour, give Him Adoration. Worship Him. He is Worthy to be Praised, He is Worthy to be Praised, He is Worthy to be Praised! Let’s bless Him, let’s bless Him! Glory be to God! Thank You Father. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

2. I want us to Pray for all those in the Academics world – the Professors, the Teachers, the Students, the Corpers – everyone in the Academic world.

Let’s lift our voices to The Almighty God and say: ‘Father, You are the source of wisdom, give these Your children wisdom’. Let’s talk to The Almighty God for them.

Pray that all those who are involved in the Academics, from all the Heads of Institution to all the Staffs, to all the Students, Father give them wisdom; give them understanding.

Bless them Lord God Almighty like never before. Father give them wisdom. Give them wisdom. Give them wisdom. Thank You Father. Glory be to God. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

3. Then, lift your voice to God and say: ‘Father, the Year is coming to an end, don’t let me come to an end’. Go ahead, talk to The Almighty God.

The Year is coming to an end but don’t let me come to an end. Help me Lord God Almighty, don’t let me come to an end.

Don’t let me end with this Year. Please Daddy, don’t let me come to an end. Thank You Almighty. Don’t let me come to an end.

Help me, help me Father, help me Ancient of Days. Don’t let me come to an end. Have Mercy on me, oh Lord. Thank You Almighty. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

4. Then, with all your heart, lift your voices to Him and say: ‘Father, whatever the enemies may try, let me see the New Year’. Go ahead, talk to The Almighty God.

It’s a serious Prayer, Pray it with all your heart. Whatever the enemies may try; Lord, let me see the New Year that is coming.

Keep me healthy, keep me strong, frustrate all the Plans of the enemies. Let me see the New Year.

Thank You Father. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God, King of kings, Lord of lords, The Ancient of days, The Unchangeable Changer, we worship You.

Thank You for January, thank You for February, thank You for March, thank You for April, thank You for May, thank You for June, thank You for July, thank You for August, thank You for September, thank You for October, thank You for November. Father, accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name.

Father, You have brought us thus far; please, help us to see the New Year. Don’t let us end with this Year. Let all our problems end with this Year.

Lord God Almighty, all Your children who are Professors, Lecturers, Teachers, Students, Corpers, give them wisdom, give them understanding.

I Pray for the Students that they will be greater than their Teachers.

I Pray Lord God Almighty that when we send our children to school, they will return whole back to us.

I Pray that all our children will be greater than their Parents.

Lord God Almighty, am remembering Your children who have been Faithful in the payment of their tithes and the giving of their offerings, this Month, embarrass them with Your Blessings.

Open the windows of Heaven, pour them a blessing – The kind of blessings, Lord God Almighty that they will say: ‘This is too much’, give unto them.

And Father, all Your children who are here today and those who are listening to us all over the world or reading; this Month of November, do something Special for all of us.

Before December comes, let everyone of us have a New Song to sing.

Help us oh Lord and we will serve you till the end.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Let someone shout Hallelujah – HALLELUJAH!

Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and tell them: ‘Your tomorrow will be alright’.

And then you may be seated.

ANNOUNCEMENT

I must cease this opportunity to tell you that the Congress of this Year is going to be a Congress like you have never seen before.

I have it on the Authority of my Father in Heaven and this is one Special Holy Ghost Congress.

Beginning from December 9th till the following Saturday, 14th of December, 2019; Heaven will come down and there will be a “Great Turn Around” for everyone of us – Amen!

Now, today, I have been asked to speak on: “RISING STARS”.

Rising Stars! Let me decree first of all that the Star of everyone will begin to rise today – Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:41

41. There is one Glory of the sun, and another Glory of the moon, and another Glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in Glory.

I pray for someone here today, among Stars, you will be a Star – Amen.

Two important words – “Stars and Rising”.

Rising Stars – What is a Star?

From HUMAN PERSPECTIVE; A Star is someone who is outstanding in whatever he does.

So we have football stars, we have somebody who is a star in action or in acting.

… Anyone who is excellent, who stands out; an academic star.

Since we are having a Special Service for the Academics, we will look at the Academic and when you talk about students, you have students that are dull, students that are average, the students we used to call ‘let my people go’.

When I was in the University; just give them forty percent (40%) – Let him carry his problems and go.

And then, we have clever students and then, we have brilliant students.

Stars! The word ‘brilliant’, incidentally, is a combination of two words ‘bright’ and ‘light’. It is another word for star.

For example, there was a time in Nigeria, when you are talking about Mathematics, your mind goes straight to one man – Professor Chike Obi.

He was a Star. Thank God he was the one who trained me.

And when you talk about Stars, at times, you gather Stars together and then, you will know that Stars differ from Stars.

In 1976 I think, there was a meeting – World Conference of Applied Mathematicians. There were only two (2) people from Nigeria that went to that meeting in Canada and I happened to be one of them.

Oh! I thought I was a big man – I mean, representing my country at a World Conference of Applied Mathematicians.

The opening Night of the Conference, they introduced the man who will give the Opening Speech. He has written one hundred and fifty (150) Papers. And he started talking about Mathematics of the rain. I said God what am I doing here?

And I was going to Present a Paper.

What am I going to say before somebody like this?

Am telling you I Prayed like I have never Prayed before.

Thank God, He helped me because I Prayed that the man will not be there when I am Presenting my Paper. But he was sitting in the front row.

But by the Grace of God, when I finished, he was one of those who stood up to clap.

I Pray for someone here today, your Dtar will shine – Amen.

SCIENTIFICALLY, a star is nothing but a Burning Gas – A collection of gases that is burning and the hotter it gets, the brighter it becomes.

For example; the sun is the dullest of all Stars – That is why it looks yellowish.

When you get to the real Stars, you find blue Stars, you find the white Stars.

The sun, the dullest of all Stars, is approximately one hundred and forty eight point eight (148.8) Million kilometres from the Earth and yet, it is hot enough to warm the whole Earth.

The day you realised that without God, you are nothing. But that you have this God dwelling in you.

… ‘Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.’

That is why the bible says in Colossians 1:27 that: ‘Christ in you, the Hope of Glory’.

I hope my children, the Academicians are listening very well because the basic problem of those of us in the Academics is that because by the Grace of God, we are clever people.

I mean, let us face fact, the cream of the cream of people are to be found in the Universities.

We are talking about brains – they are there.

But the problem is that there is always a tendency to forget that you are not a star unless you realised that you are Gas.

And you know what a Gas is? – Almost empty.

That is why Jesus Christ said without me, you can do nothing.

So, now, you have an idea of what is a Star.

Now, the second (2nd) word there is ‘Rising’.

Rising means Upward.

An illiterate himself, can talk about that.

And the Bible says Stars differ from Stars in Glory.

And then, 2 Corinthians 3:18 talks about going from Glory to Glory.

That is; Rising. One level of Glory for the Sun, there is another one for the Star and then, when you gather the Stars together, you will just find out that they go from Glory to Glory.

So, when you are talking about “Rising Stars”, from GOD’S PERSPECTIVE – God is simply talking about those who are Willing to Burn for Him.

When you talk about the Stars in the Bible, you have just one example – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

People who are ready to go into the fiery furnace for God – They Stars ready to Burn for God.

So, when we talk about “Rising Stars’, in Philippians 3:12-14; Paul gave us an illustration.

He said ‘listen, I have not yet attained but I am Pressing on, Pressing upward, going higher’. Rising Stars!

And the word ‘Rising’ means there are Possibilities – three (3) Possibilities basically.

It means:

A Star can be Stagnant.

A Star can be going Upward.

A Star can be Falling.

A Star can fall.

In 2 Samuel 1, if you read it all the way from Verse 1 but by the time you get to Verse 19, David said in that terrible song of his. He said: ‘The beauty of Israel is upon the High Places, how are the Mighty Falling’

To become Mighty means you must become a Star.

But a Star can fall.

I Pray for all of you who are already Stars, that you will never fall – Amen.

Let me give you an example of a ” Rising Star. Take this young man called David.

In 1 Samuel 16:11-13, he was made a king among his brethren.

In 2 Samuel 2:1-4, he became king over the Tribe of Judea.

In 2 Samuel 5:1-3, he became king over the whole of Israel.

… He was a “Rising Star”.

When you read Matthew 25:14-28, the Bible tells us the story of the Talents.

There was a man the Master gave five (5) Talents to, he worked with the five (5) and the five (5) became ten (10).

And when they were giving Reports, there was somebody who got one (1) and didn’t use the one (1). So they took the one (1) from him and gave it to the man who already got ten (10).

So he started with five (5), rose to ten (10) and the, rose to eleven (11).

Rising Star!

When you enter the University, you are already a Star because not everybody gains admission to the University.

Many people never even finish Secondary Schools.

Then, you moved on and you get your B.Sc, B.A. or B.Ed or whatever.

And like I used to say by the time you come out, you are a Graduate.

… Oh, I mean that day of Graduation, your head is in the cloud. Until after some days, you realised that you cannot introduce yourself to everybody that do you know that I am Mr Enoch Adeboye, B.Sc Maths.

They will say what is the difference: You are Mister and am Mister.

So, you will say ‘I must rise’. You go on to do you Masters; you are still Mister.

Something must be done, I must be different. So you go ahead and you do your Ph.D and become Doctor.

Yes, when you become a Doctor, you are glad until you see a Sign Board by the road side that says ‘Doctor of Watches’.

As professor Chike Obi would say: ‘I am a Doctor of Mathematics. There are doctors who watch wombs’ – He is referring to Medical Doctors.

Then, you say ‘No, No, No, I must go further and then, you become a Professor but then, the moment you become a Professor, you discovered that when you go to the Market to buy something, there is no difference between the Professor and Ordinary Person.

I must become Vice Chancellor. You press on and you become Vice Chancellor

Unfortunately, after you become Vice Chancellor, Suddenly you discovered there is nothing more to become except in Christ.

If you are in God Almighty, the Bible says underneath you is the Everlasting Arms.

When He picks you up, you will keep on Rising and Rising and Rising.

When you are in Him, the sky is not your limit – Your limit is Heaven.

When a Star is stagnant, that Star will soon cease to be.

In nature, there is no room for stagnation.

As a matter of fact, if you are not Rising, you begin to fall like the story of the man with one (1) Talent.

Nebuchadnezzar, for the seven (7) Years he was in madness, God preserved his kingdom. Nobody took his kingdom.

There was no new king made. Even though, everybody could see him.

And in those days, kings fight for kings to take over their Territory.

This mad man was there for seven (7) Years but God kept his kingdom.

After seven (7) Years when He repented, God lifted him up again and he said ‘God added Glory to me’.

He ended up better than he was at the beginning.

It doesn’t matter how low you have gone, if God steps in, you can Rise again – Amen.

I have told you several stories. Some of you will remember the story of one young man.

It wasn’t even his fault, he didn’t know that his father fought with another man in the town not too far from Ondo. I don’t want to mention the name of the town.

It’s a true story. The father fought with another man and the other man said to his father, ‘By the time i finished with you, nobody will know you ever came to the world’.

And the father thought it was the boast of an angry man but within two (2) weeks, the father died.

And then, the children came home to bury their father and among the children was one who had just returned from Germany with a car, brand new car. On the way back from burying their father, the first born of the family had an accident and died.

They brought his dead body home, the mother had the News, collapsed and died.

They buried Mama, as they were going back, the next in line to that boy had an accident and died and the man just kept on killing them until there was one (1) left who was a Medical Student at the University of Ibadan.

That one came home to bury the last and then, that man who fought with their father saw that there is still one (1). This one (1), I understand he is a Student at the University. I will torture this one (1) before I killed him.

The boy returned to the Campus, gather all his books and clothes together and set them on fire. They carried him to Aro, loaded him with drugs. He seems to stabilise but he had already burn his books and clothes so he went back to his town to go and get some money from his father’s estate and that man saw him: ‘You are still walking around’, so he added a little more oil to the fire.

I mean, this thing went on and on until somebody realised this is not a Medical Problem. So, they brought him to the Camp.

By the time he arrived, he had not slept for two (2) weeks. His eyes were blazing red. He couldn’t even remember who he was. But we called on The Almighty.

There is someone who is called The Lord of Host. He can fight any battle and He has never lost a war – He will fight for you today – Amen!

He woke up, he realised where he was. He told us his story. Then we told him that is alright. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ, He will be fighting your battles for you.

We just told him, don’t go to your town for now. Let us handle the matter till everything settled down.

By the Grace of God, we paid his school fees. The day he became a Medical Doctor, he came to my Office and he was weeping.

He said ‘today, I am a Doctor, if not for Jesus, by now I should be eating from dustbin; I should be walking naked’.

I said ‘well, Glory be to God,

I have someone who can pick up a beggar from the dustbin and keep on lifting him up until he becomes someone dinning with kings.

I want all of us to realised one thing: The Almighty God who made you, don’t just want you to be a Star but to be a Star that will Shine for Him.

I want you to realised that without Him, you are Nothing. It is when He is the One in you that all of a sudden, you find yourself Rising. You dissociate from Him, you begin to fall.

I tell you one more story and then, we close.

We have just had a fantastic Program called Lekki 98 – That is the first (1st) Holy Ghost Congress we had at Lekki. We shut down the traffic in Lagos for hours.

I got back to Camp at Night. I was walking through the Camp Praising the Almighty God. All of a sudden, I heard, ‘son, bend down’. You know the story.

I bent down and He said ‘draw the figure of a man in the sand’. So, I drew the figure of a man.

Then, He said ‘stand up’. I stood up. He said ‘wipe out what you have drawn with your leg’.

And I did and He said, ‘son, the day you forget that I am the One in charge, I will wipe you out. Nobody will even remember you ever came to the world’.

Are you a Star?

You want to keep Rising?

Humble yourself before the Almighty God.

ALTAR CALL:

So if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ. I am going to count from one (1) to ten (10). Before I say ten (10), you better come and stand before me so that I can Pray that the Almighty God will save your soul and He will become the One that is in you Shinning, bringing you Glory.

I am counting from one (1) to ten (10) …

The choice is yours. If He is not in you, you have no Hope of Glory.

Come now….

Come and give your life to Him and you will become a “Rising Star”.

Now, those of you who are already in front, please cry to the Almighty God and ask Him to have Mercy on you. Ask Him to please save your soul. Ask Him to come and dwell in you.

The rest of us, let us stretch our hands towards our brothers and sisters and intercede for them. Let’s Pray that The Almighty God who saved our souls will save their own souls also. Let us Pray for them.

Thank You Father! In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION:

Saviour, we want to bless Your Holy Name. We want to give You Glory and Honour for Your Words. Please Lord, accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name.

Father, we are Praying today – that these Your children who have come forward will have an Encounter with You in Jesus’ Name.

Save their soul, let Your Blood wash away their sins. Write their names in the Book of Life. And Father, I Pray that from now on, anytime they call on You, You will answer them by Fire and let them become Stars for You in Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Now, those of you who have come forward, I want to assure you that I will be Praying for you. So I need your names, your address and Prayer Request and I Promise you, I will be Praying for you.

I want you to stay where you are for now.

The rest of us, are we ready to Pray?

Let us stand on our feet and shout a big hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: ‘Father, let my Star keep Rising. Don’t let my Light become darkness’.

Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God: Let my Light keep on Rising Lord God Almighty. Don’t let my Light become darkness. Let my Star keep Rising Almighty God.
