GENERAL PRAYERS
- Let us lift our hands to the Most High God and bless His Holy Name.
Let us give Him Glory and Honour; thank Him for what He has done for you since the beginning of the Year – Give Him Glory, give Him Honour, give Him Adoration. Bless the King of kings and the Lord of Lords; bless the Ancient of Days; bless the Unchangeable Changer. Magnify His Holy Name. There is no one like Him – He reigns forever. He rules in the affairs of men.
Let us give Him Glory – He is Higher than the highest; Greater than the greatest. Heaven is His Throne, the Earth His Footstool.
Let us bless His Holy Name – There are those who say Happy New Year with us who are no more. Give Him Glory that you are still alive.
Thank Him for your Protection; thank Him for your Health, for your Strength. Give Him Glory for Provisions; Praise Him that He has not allowed the enemies to overcome you. Bless His Holy Name.
Thank Him for what He has done in the Past; thank Him for what He is doing now and bless His Holy Name for what He will do in the New Month.
Give Him Glory, give Him Honour, give Him Adoration.
Oh but for Him where will we be now?
Magnify His Holy Name. Thank Him from the bottom of your heart – Say Thank You Lord; I appreciate You; I Love You; I Adore You.
There is no one like You. I know that You reign forever. Blessed, Blessed, Blessed be Your Holy Name.
Thank You Ancient of Days. Glory be Your Holy Name. Thank You Father.

2. Preambles: The Word of God says: Safety is of The Lord!
There are certain battles you cannot fight on your own. There are certain things that the Government can do and there are certain things that are beyond the Government.
… But nothing is beyond God!
I want you to lift up your voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, have Mercy on Nigeria: Let there be Peace, let there be Security.
Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
3. Preambles: The Bible says God sees all things.
You can’t hide from Him – He knows where the Terrorist are hiding. And if He sends His Light, He will expose them.
Lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, send Light to Nigeria and expose all evil doers.
Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God.
Thank You Father, thank You Almighty God. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
4. Preambles: It is written – Every Plants my Father has not Planted shall be rooted off – Amen.
This morning with all your hearts you are going to cry and say: Father, all those who are causing Problems in Nigeria and all their Sponsors; uproot them.
Cry to the Almighty God.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
5. Preambles: It is written – If the People that are called by My Name will humble themselves and Pray. The Almighty God says I will heal their Land.
Lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, we are your People. We are called by Your Name, we cry to You today – HEAL OUR LAND!
Open your mouth and Pray.
Thank You Father, Glory be to Your Holy Name. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
6. Preambles: Not too long ago, at least in my own lifetime; there was a time the Naira (#) was almost equal to the Pounds Sterling (£}. People were rushing in into Nigeria from India, from Ghana and from all over. But now, Government are saying: We will not even be allowing Nigerians to come.
Lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, RESTORE FULLY THE GLORY OF NIGERIA.
Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God.
Thank You Father, Glory be to Your Holy Name. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
7. Preambles: Every Souls is Precious to God.
If a Christian dies, we have lost a brother or a sister.
If a Muslim dies, we have lost a Potential brother or sister.
I want you to lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, in Nigeria let there be no more death of the Innocent.
Common cry to the Almighty God
Thank You Father, Glory be to Your Holy Name. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
8. Preambles: Now we have been Fasting for quite a while now. The fasting will be ending at the end of this Month (February).
I want you to lift up your voice to Him from the bottom of your heart and say: Father, before this Fasting ends; answer all my Prayers by Fire.
Go ahead; cry to the Almighty God.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

OPENING PRAYER
King of Glory: The Lord Strong and Mighty; the Lord Mighty in battle; the Lord who had never lost a War; the Ancient of Days – Glory be to Your Holy Name.
Thank You for all You have done for us since the beginning of the Year – We give you Glory and Honour. Please accept our thanks in Jesus Name.
Father, have Mercy on Nigeria. In Nigeria, let there be Peace; let there be Security; let there be Joy; let there be Progress; let there be Abundance.
Please, have Mercy on Nigeria. Let there be no more death. Please, don’t let the Innocent die anymore.
And God all those who are behind the Insecurity in Nigeria; uproot them all.
That Your Peace may reign Supreme; please every Plants that You have not Planted in Nigeria – UPROOT THEM ALL!
RESTORE THE GLORY OF THIS LAND!
Please, all your children who has been Fasting, waiting on You all of these days; before the end of these fifty (50) Days Fasting, answer their Prayers by Fire.
Lord Your children who has been Faithful in the Payment of their Tithes and in the Giving of their Offerings; this Month embarrassed them with Your Blessings.
Today, save souls, heal the sick, set the Captives Free. Let us Sing the “SONG OF VICTORY”.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

ANNOUNCEMENT
I am sure that you know that the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman under whose Authority we are had decreed that all Christians should March – Do a Prayer Walk round their Churches today.
And so as soon as we finished the Service today; we are all going for a Prayer Walk and I am going and you are coming along with me.
Alright, they will tell you how we are going to March.
We will March according to Age (Laughs).
There are some People who will do their own Marching round this Church because of their Age. There are some of us who will go all the way to Atan Cemetery (A Cemetery situated in a city called Atan in Lagos State Nigeria). Before we turn left and then turn left and then you will come back home.
So, don’t follow me. When I get to my Age Group I will branch.
Let someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
I want to talk to you briefly on the topic: SONGS OF VICTORY.
The Sermon will be very brief so that we can go for our Prayer Walk
BIBLE TEXT: PSALMS 18: 1-3
- I will love thee O LORD my Strength (Who is your Strength – Oh Lord!)
- The Lord is my rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my Strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my Salvation, and my High Tower.
- I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be Praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
As the Lord lives, you will laugh last – Amen!
We are talking about “Songs of Victory”.
I have told you that Man is a Singing Animal – We are born to sing.
We have a Song for every situations – When we are happy we sing; when we are sad we sing; a baby is born we sing; we are getting married we sing; we are dedicating a house we sing and you die (laughs) we sing.
We sing songs when we get to Cemetery and after that one when we settled down to eat jollof rice, we sing another kind of Song.
And you can tell the situation of a man by listening to his song – When somebody has just lost a battle; you will hear him singing:
We will Overcome
We will Overcome someday.
… You will know that he has just lost a battle.
When the battle is hot and he want to call on the Almighty God to come to his Help; you will hear him singing:
Arise Oh Lord let Your enemies be scattered
Arise Oh Lord let Your enemies be scattered
Arise Oh Lord let Your enemies be scattered
Oh Lord, Oh Lord Arise!
Ha, ha; I know you will sing that one because some of you are fighting.
And when he is Victorious, when he has just won a battle. Then you will be hearing him singing:
Now the battle is over
Now the battle is over
Now the battle is over
I am More Than a Conqueror.
… I know only a few of us can sing that one!
How many of you can sing that one?
Oh, before we leave here this morning; you will sing it in Jesus Name – Amen.
So Song can change as the situation changes.
If you read Psalms 40: 1-3; it tells us the story of a man who was in trouble. He cried to God and God heard him. And then it says that He puts a New Song in my mouth.
If you are in trouble and then God heard your Prayer. He gives you a New Song.
I have told you the story of one of my house-helps in the Past. You know whenever we gather together as a family to Fellowship; we always ask everybody to make suggestions – Tell us your favourite Song so that we can sing with you. This girl is always singing:
Alagbara ni Olorun wa (Our God is a Powerful God)
Ina Jo, Igbe o run (The bush is burning, the bush not consumed)
Alagbara lolorun wa (Our God is a Powerful God)
… She is always saying: The bush is burning but the bush is not consumed.
So one day, I said wait a minute: What is the bush that is burning.
As I interviewed her and I learnt that she became a house-help because the Parents are heavily in debt. So they sent her out to go and become an house-help so that they will be able to pay the debt.
So we said that we didn’t know that is the situation. If you want to sing with us you are welcome but let God take care of the debt.
As soon as the debt was paid; the following Day her Special suggestion was:
O ti se o, Baba ti se (He has done it, Our Father has done it)
Ohun to ba mi leru (What is making me to be afraid)
Baba ti se o (Our Father has done it )
… That will be your Song from today in Jesus Name – Amen.
The Song means: What my father cannot do, He has done for me.
Now; singing is automatic after a Victory.
If you have Victory, there is no way you won’t sing.
If you read Exodus 15: 1-21; that was the Song that the children of Israel sang after they looked back and all their enemies were already drowned. There are so many Songs that we got out of that Passage.
But there is one that I’m sure that you will know very well. It is found in Verse 11:
Who is like unto thee Oh Lord
Who is like unto thee Oh Lord
Among the gods
Who is like thee
Glorious in Holiness and Fearful in Praises
Always doing wonders Hallelujah.
The first time that I heard that Song, I was wondering what did they mean by Fearful in Praises?
Then I remembered the Proverbs of one our elders when they want to eulogise God – They said that when God fights for you; even you that He is fighting for you will become frightened.
Because when you see Him in Action, when you see what He has done for your enemies, you will say: Lord God Almighty! I am not sure that I asked you to go this far.
And then you see Hannah singing another Song in 1 Samuel 2: 1-10
One of the Song we got from her is found in Verse 2 and it goes thus:
There is none Holy as the Lord (Holy as the Lord)
There is none beside thee (Beside our God)
Neither is there are anyone like our God
There is none Holy as the Lord.
Permit me to Prophesy into someone life today: All those who has been saying where is your God this morning God will show them – Amen.
But it is only Men of Faith who can sing Songs of Victory.
Anybody can sing after the Victory but it takes men and women of Faith to sing in advance of the Victory.
For example in the case of Job in Job 19: 25-27. Job was in serious trouble – He has lost everything he had, he was in a very serious sickness but he still open his mouth and said:
I know my Redeemer Liveth
I know my Redeemer Liveth
I know my Redeemer Liveth
He Liveth forever more.
He was singing in deep trouble but if you read the whole story; the Bible says: God bless the latter end of Job than the former.
It takes a lot of Faith to sing when you can’t even see any sign of Victory.
For example: Paul and Silas in Acts 16: 16-26. They knew that by tomorrow they are going to be dead but they sang. And they sang so loudly that the Lord of Host paid them a Visit.
So, all of you who has been singing along with me; you are going to get a Great Visit from God – Amen.
But then who can sing Song of Victory before Victory?
Somebody who is sure that God is Living in him!
Because Colossians 1:27 says: Christ in you, the Hope of Glory!
… Not the Hope of defeat, the Hope of Glory!
In 1 John 4:4. The Bible says: Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
In Romans 8:37; the Bible says: We are More Than Conqueror through Him that loves us.
The Bible says in Romans 8:28. It says: All things (How many things – ALL things) worketh together for Good to those who love God.
… You love God; Christ is dwelling in you; The Greater One is dwelling in you – Then you are More Than a Conqueror.
You see, when you are a True Christian; when you are doing His Will like I have told you again and again. Any battle that comes across your way is not your own battle – The batt is not your own battle.
That is why you as sure that you are a Winner from the Number One (1).
It doesn’t matter how many forces that may be arranged against you; you have already won – The battle is not yours; the battle is not mine – I am More Than a Conqueror.
People have wondered because when you are a Pastor, normally all the burden of your Congregation are your burden.
If all is well with the Congregation – Glory be to God. We all share the Joy.
If anything goes wrong with the Congregation, they point the fingers at the Pastor.
As I’m sharing with some of my childhood not long ago: We have a Convention, everything is going on well, everyone is singing and dancing and rejoicing.
At the end of it all, oh we have a great Convention.
Our Convention is in August; during the Rainy Season. God have Mercy on the General Overseer – If it rains?
What is he doing? He supposed to be in the Prayer Room Praying? Can’t he talk to his Father in Heaven.
… Anything goes wrong, only you will bear the blame.
But when you know that you are connected to Jesus Christ; it doesn’t matter what the enemies may try – Before they start, He will scatter them.
And today, somebody here is going to sing “Songs of Victory”.
But if Jesus is not in you, then you don’t have the Hope of Glory.
Remember that I shared that with you before : One man came to me and say that I hear that you are a Prophet. I said I’m not a Prophet, I’m a Pastor.
But they say that whatever you say come to Pass. I said God has been Faithful – If He tells me something and I tell you; what He says is what He will do.
He said then can you tell me my future?
I said that is very easy. Answer one question: Are you Born Again?
He said No – Then I said your future will be terrible.
He said how do you know? You have not even asked about my name; you have not Prayed?
I said there is no need. It is written: Woe to the wicked, it shall be ill with him.
He said, Oh I see. But supposed I said I’m Born Again?
I said I will tell you that your tomorrow will be alright.
How do you know? – It is written: Say it to the Righteous it shall be well with him.
ALTAR CALL.
So, if you are here this morning and you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ and yet you want to sing the Songs of Victory; you better come and surrender your Life to Him now.
I will count from one (1) to ten (10). Before I say ten (10); if you want to surrender your Life to Jesus, if you want Jesus to begin to live in you so that you can be More Than a Conqueror come before I say ten (10).
I’m counting now ….
The choice is yours: If you want to be More Than a Conqueror; Christ must be in you. You want to be able to sing Songs of Victory; you must have the Greater One dwelling in you.
There is no other way.
Thank You those of you who are clapping – Your hands will never withered.
The choice is yours: Either to be a Victor or as Victim. You want be a Victor, you must have Christ dwelling in you.

Now those of us already infront, talk to the Almighty God – Ask Him to be Merciful to you; ask Him to save your Soul; ask Him to come and live in you; ask Him to receive you into His family so that you can be More Than a Conqueror.
Tell Him to forgive my sin and I will serve you for the rest of my Life.
And if anyone is still coming, keep coming!
The rest of us please let us stretch our hands towards our new brothers and sisters and intercede for them.
Let us Pray that the One who saved our Souls will save their own Souls also.
Pray that God will wash them clean from all sins with His Blood and give them a brand New Beginning.
Intercede for them Brethren, Pray for them.
Thank You Jesus. Thank You Father. Blessed be Your Holy Name. Thank You Saviour.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION
King of Kings and Lord of Lords; the Saviour of Mankind. I thank You for Your Words, please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name!
Thank You for these Your children who has come forward to surrender their Lives to you. Please receive them in Jesus Name. Save their souls, let Your Blood wipe away their sins; write their names in the Book of Life; receive them into the family of God.
And from today onwards; make them More Than s Conqueror.
Every time they call on You now Father; answer them by Fire.
And let them serve You to the End. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Now those of you who has come forward; I rejoice with you – CONGRATULATIONS!
Because from now on by the Grace of God; I will be Praying for you and you will be amazed how many Victories you will begin to get from now on – CONGRATULATIONS!
So you wait where you are. In a moment the Counsellors will come near you and give you cards which you will fill with your names, addresses and Prayer Request so that I can be able to Pray for you.
I will be Praying for you according to Your Prayer Request.
Now the rest of us this morning we are going to Praise God like Paul and Silas did.
We are going to Praise Him in advance for Victories.
You Praise Him so Mightily that He will locate you where you are. And before you walk out of here, your enemies will be scattered – Amen.
So, you will please Stand on your feet and first of all let us shout a very really big Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
And then forget everybody on your right and on your left and just Praise God in your own way.
Continue to Praise Him: Give Him Glory, give Him Honour – Sing unto Him, clap unto Him, dance unto Him, Praise Him until He will locate you and then your enemies will be scattered.
… PRAISE HIM!
