OPENING PRAYER

Father Almighty, we worship You once again. We thank You for what You have done since the beginning of the Year. We thank You in advance for what You will do this Month in particular. Father, please accept our worship in Jesus Name.

As we gather together to dine with You tonight my Father and my God; I Pray that in Your Own Miraculous Way You will send Your Light into our Lives.

At the end of everything, we Pray that Your Name will be Glorified.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well let someone shout another Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Shake hands with two (2 or three (3) People and say: Good Evening, God Bless You Mightily – Amen!

And then you may please be seated.

BIBLE TEXT: LUKE 24: 13-31.

13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.

14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.

15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.

17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;

23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the Prophets have spoken:

26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.

29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

… But we will start our own reading from Verse 28 to Verse 31 because of our time.

May God opened the eyes of somebody here today – Amen!

As you know that the Theme for this Month is: LET THERE BE LIGHT and we will be looking at PART 2.

Because in Mark 10: 46-52; when finally Bartimaeus came to Jesus Christ and He asked him: What do you want?

He (Bartimaeus) said that my eyes might be opened; that I might received my sight.

… I want You to send Your Light so that I can see.

I have heard of You and now I want to see You; I want to know You!

The Bible Text in Luke chapter 24 was the story of two (2) Men who was on their way to a Village called Emmaus after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

As they were going; talking about all the things that had happened – How Jesus Christ was killed and how some people are now saying that He has risen from the dead. The man joined them and began to discuss with them – What is it that you are talking about et cetera et cetera.

The (2 Men) were saying to him: Are you a Stranger in this land and don’t you know all that had happened?

So, one of the two (2) Men began to explain to him certain things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ.

Then when they got to the Village where they are going; he pretended as if he wanted to continue on his own journey. And they said to him: Ah, it is already late. Stay with us and he agreed.

And as they sat to “MEAT”; as he took the Bread and broke it; suddenly the “Eyes” of the two (2) Men were opened and they realised that it was Jesus who had been with them all along.

And as soon as they realised that; the Bible said He vanished from their sight.

Our Prayer tonight is going to be: LORD OPEN MY EYES THAT I MAY KNOW YOU!

1. Because, if I know You; if You open my eyes and I know You then I will be Free from any Force of darkness that may want to hold me in bondage.

Why? – Because it is written in John 8:32; that you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you Free.

And then it is written in John 14:6 that Jesus Christ is the Truth.

So, if I can know Jesus Christ the Truth; I will be Free from every Forces of Darkness that will be holding me down.

So, when we say: Send Your Light or Let there be Light; we are saying Let my eyes be opened that I may know Jesus!

Now, we are not talking about “KNOWING ABOUT JESUS” – We all know. At least majority of you “KNOW ABOUT JESUS”: We know about the Saviour, we know about the Healer, we know about the Provider.

But the question now is: DO YOU KNOW HIM INTIMATELY?

I have said it before that if I ask anyone of you here: Do you know a car?

You will say: Yes of course we know when we see one!

Do you know Mercedes Benz Car? – Definitely, we know one.

Some of us may even say: I have one.

But as you are travelling on the Highway; if your Mercedes Benz car should cough and stop and you get out and you open the Burnett and you look at all the engines, the wires there. Suddenly, you will realised that I don’t know Mercedes Benz car because you won’t know what to do to bring it back into Action.

DO YOU KNOW JESUS CHRIST?

My Prayers for you today and for myself is that God will open our eyes that we may know Him – Amen.

2. Because if we know Him – not know about Him now; know Him. Suddenly, we will be “STRONG” because Daniel 11:32 says: They that do know their God shall be “Strong”.

Strong; not just healthy but ” Vigorously Strong”.

In Psalms 105:37; the Bible told us that the children of Israel after they took the “Original Holy Communion”; there was not a single feeble one among them – All of them were healed instantly and they became Strong.

To be “Strong” is the opposite of being “Feeble”.

For example: Moses at the age of one hundred and twenty (120) Years was still Strong. His eyes were not deem and be was ” Vigorously Strong”.

3. If I know Him, not only will I be Free, not only will I be Strong; I will be able to do Exploits.

Daniel 11: 32(b) says: They that do know their God shall do Exploits.

What do we mean by doing Exploits for God?

I have the ability to heal the sick, ability to cast out demons, ability to raise the dead – Doing Exploits for God.

… If I know Him, I will be empowered to do Exploits.

4. If I do know Him; not only will I be Free, not only will I be Strong, not only will I be able to do Exploits; “I WILL HAVE UNDERSTANDING”.

Proverbs 9:10 says: The Knowledge of the HOLY One is Understanding.

In order words; you don’t know what “Understanding” is until you know the Holy One of Israel.

Now, this “Understanding” that we are talking about in some other languages; you don’t get it by reading books.

There are certain things you get as a result of experience – Things that had happened in the Past that will enable you to know what to do when you are facing situations in the Future.

These are Experience that you gain through “Old Age”.

That is why the Elders says: You may have as many dresses as an Elder but you cannot have as many rags!

There are certain things that the Elders know that you didn’t learn in the University.

5. But if I have a Knowledge of the One who is the Alpha and Omega; immediately I will have all the “Understanding” that I need.

And if I have these “Understanding” according to Job 28:28; it will become easy for me to depart from evil.

Many a times when an Elder is admonishing the younger ones – Don’t do this, don’t do that and you think what is he doing? Trying to rob me of some enjoyments.

The Elder is saying: I have done it before and I’m paying the Price now. I have fooled around before. From experience, what you are about to do may look Pleasant to you; the result is going to be dangerous.

And when I have this kind of “Understanding” according to Proverbs 13:15; I will begin to find Favour – Favour with God and Favour with Men.

So, there are many Advantages of “KNOWING HIM” – He Opened their eyes and they knew Him; I will have Freedom; I will be Strong, I will be able to do Exploits; I will have Understanding and from Understanding, I will obtain Favour.

No wonder Paul said in Philippians 3: 7-10. He said: I sacrifice everything that I may Know Him!

The Bible had said in Proverbs 4:7 – Wisdom is the Principal Thing but in all thy getting, get Understanding.

If only God can open our eyes tonight; we will get Understanding – Amen.

And the interesting thing is that He opened their eyes while they “SAT” at Table – He took Bread, Blessed it. And as He was breaking the Bread; suddenly their eyes were opened and they knew Him.

So, as you come to the Table tonight; let your Prayer be: Father, as we break Bread – You know that is another name they gave The Holy Communion (THE BREAKING OF BREAD)

I’m sure you have wondered why they said: “Breaking of Bread” and not “Drinking of Wine” because the Miracle really starts with the “Breaking of Bread”

I’m Praying that your desire tonight will be: Father, as we break Bread; You will open my eyes so that I may know You.

… May that be Your Prayer and may the Answer come tonight in Jesus Name – Amen.

ALTAR CALL

Which is the reason why we always appeal to those who are yet to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.

You have heard about Jesus Christ: There are Songs about Him, some of your friends have talked to you about Jesus Christ. But you yourself is yet to experience Him, you are yet to know Him.

The first (1st) Step towards knowing Him is surrendering your Life to Him.

So, if you come to Him tonight and say: Lord, I have come to surrender my Life to You because I want to know You, I want to say bye bye to a life of sin because I want to know You.

I can assured you that He will be Willing to save your souls, to forgive your sins and you can begin to know Him.

So, I’m going to count from one (1) to five (5). If you want to surrender your Life to Jesus, before I say five (5); come and stand before me and I will Pray for your Salvation and He will open your eyes and you will begin to know Him.

… I’m counting now!

You have known about Him but now you want to know Him, come and surrender your Life to Him – Let Him wash away your sins, let Him give you the Eyes that will begin to Understand Him.

Thank You very much!

Those of you who are still on the way, you can keep coming.

But those of you who are already infront, talk to the Almighty God: Ask Him to save your soul and Promise Him that from now on; you will serve Him.

And the rest of us; let us stretch our hands towards these people and intercede for them.

And Pray that the One who save our own souls will save their own souls also.

Let us Pray for them. Let us intercede for them that the Almighty God will wash them clean with His Powerful Blood, He will give them the ability to Know Him – Let us Pray for them!

And anyone that is still coming you have to hurry up now because I want to Pray for Salvation right now.

If you are on the way, keep coming. Just make sure that you are here before I finished Praying.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Saviour, I just want to thank You for Your Words. I want to thank You because You have the ability to open our eyes.

I am asking especially for all these Your children who has come forward to receive You as their Lord and Saviour; Please have Mercy on them, forgive all their sins, let Your Blood wash them clean, save their souls today, receive them into the Family of God, write their names in the Book of Life.

From this moments onwards; let them begin to know You.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Now those of you who has come forward to receive Jesus; I want to rejoice with you because from now on by the Grace of God, I will be Praying for you.

So, if you will turn, you will see a man by your left – Who is carrying a Placard; please follow him and he will take you to where some Pastors are waiting to get your names, address and Prayer Request so that I will know how to be Praying for you.

God Bless You. You can begin to go and they will bring you back very quickly..Let us clap for them. Thank You Father.

… Now, clap for Jesus Christ – The Saviour!

ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOLY COMMUNION

Now tonight; as soon as we are given the Bread; we will give you the signal to eat the Bread.

Your Prayer will be: God Himself will send His Light, Open your eyes so that you can Know Him and that you will become Strong.

Not just Healed, not just Healthy but Strong so that you can begin to do Exploits for God.

When you are served the Wine, you hold on to it until we have all been served.

And when it is time to drink, we will tell you how to Pray.

The Lord Jesus, the very night in which He was betrayed took the bread and when He has given Thanks; He broke it and said: Take, Eat, this is My Body broken for you. Do this in remembrance of Me – In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Amen.

Shall we please Stand!

When you drink the Wine tonight; you are going to cry to the Almighty God and say: Please, grant me that “Understanding” that will lead me to Great Divine Favour.

If I Know You, I will have “Understanding” and the “Understanding” will become Favour.

As I drink the Wine tonight; Please grant me that “Understanding” that will lead me to tremendous Divine Favour.

And after this same manner; He took the Cup, when He has sup saying: This Cup is the New Testament in My Blood; please do it as oft as you drink in Remembrance of Me. In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Amen.

… Oh Lord, grant me Deep Divine Understanding of Your Modalities and Heavenly Things.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen

So shall it be in Jesus Name – Amen.

Please be seated and let us remain in an Attitude of Worship. Pass your cups to the aisles and then take our Thanksgiving Offering for the Holy Communion.

THANKSGIVING

It is a great privilege to be able to Dine with the King of Kings; a tremendous privilege to be able to “Break Bread” with Him.

So, let us take our offerings and as soon as you have taken it; then you stand on your feet and lift up the offering to the Almighty God.

And Pray this very Special Prayer tonight with all your heart and said: Father, open my Eyes to see Your Light in my family and my family will become Total Stranger to Poverty.

Open my eyes to come out of Poverty once and for all.

Thank You Jesus. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

And so shall it be in Jesus Name – Amen.

Now we dance to the nearest basket, drop your offerings, then celebrate one with the other.

Shake hands because by the Grace of God; your Eyes are opened now.

CLOSING PRAYERS

Our Father and our God, we bless Your Name for yet another opportunity to Dine with You.

We believed You Lord that our Eyes are already opened. That we will Know You, we shall be Free from all forces of darkness, we shall be Strong, we shall do Exploits, we shall have Understanding and we shall find Favour with You.

Father so let it be in Jesus Name – Amen.

Please bless the offerings of Your children, Sanctify it, Use it for Your Glory.

And Father, I Pray that the Understanding of how to be Permanently Out of Poverty give unto us all.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
