I want to appreciate the opportunity to be here today as Part of the Pastor’s Seed Family Convention.

I want to Glorify God for the Privilege that He has given to me and appreciate the Leadership, first of all of The Redeemed Christian Church of God in the Person of Pastor E.A Adeboye, the General Overseer.

Our father in the Lord I want to appreciate God for your life, for the Privilege given to me to be here.

I also want to thank God for my brother in the Faith, Pastor Leke Adeboye, the Leadership of the Pastor’s Seed Family (PSF) and for this opportunity to be here.

And the Lord bless you.

For everyone who is Part of this forum, i want to appreciate you and I trust God that for everyone of us together, this will be a Transformative Experience as we explore the Word of God together in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Now, let us begin in Prayer and we go into God’s Word after that.

OPENING PRAYER

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I give You the Glory for the opportunity given to me to be Part of this Forum today.

I ask that You will grant Light from Heaven, insight and understanding as You will transform us by Your Words and that will cause each one of us to emerge from this Forum Supernaturally transformed in the Name of Jesus.

Thank You Father for it.

In Jesus Precious Name we have Pray – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

MAIN MESSAGE

I have been given this assignment to speak on the Subject of: WHAT A WONDERFUL NAME IT IS.

You see the Name of Jesus which is the Subject of our focus is a Name that is loaded and Pregnant with Wonders.

It carries all kinds of things that are available for you and I who are Believers.

But it’s important for us to begin to understand and unpack the details of what it carries in order to enjoy the benefits that are available with Him, for you and for me.

But let me begin by saying that all of our Christian Experience relies absolutely; take note of this; relies absolutely on the Authenticity, the Capacity and the Authority of the Name of Jesus Christ.

The Bible makes it very clear in Romans 10:13; that: By the Name of Jesus, we are told that all men are saved on the basis of that Name.

Let’s look at the Scriptures – Romans 10:13; very popular verse of Scriptures, which I believed most of us are familiar with, but it’s important that we continue to explore the depths of it.

Roman 10:13; it says:

For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.

So, the Name of the Lord is at the Foundation of our Salvation – Everyone’s experience with Salvation has something to do with the Name of Jesus.

In fact, the Bible says in Acts 4:12, that: There is no other name given under Heaven by which men can be saved.

So, there is no other Pathway for Salvation except through the Name of Jesus.

So, the authenticity of the Name of Jesus is the Foundation of our Christianity.

You see the Truth is this: People may call many names when they are under tension or in any corner, but the Bible says that there is no other name given under Heaven through which any man can be saved except by the Name of Jesus.

So, the Name of Jesus is the Foundation of any man’s experience of Salvation.

Please take note of this when it comes to our dealings with God:

1. There is no man that can access God on his own terms.
2. We all access God on God’s Own Terms.
3. And the Starting Point for anyone having access to God is recognizing that the Pathway to God is through Jesus Christ.
4. And the Name of Jesus is the Pathway for anyone to experience “Genuine Salvation”.

And that is why it is important for us to recognize that: You see when we talk about Jesus’ Name being authentic; it is that authenticity of that Name that gives anyone of us the right to a Christian experience.

You cannot claim to be a Christian or to be a child of God except it is through the Name of Jesus.

In fact, the word Christian itself means: “Christ Follower” – So until an individual is engaged with the Name of Jesus, until the Name of Jesus is associated with any individual, that Person cannot be identified as a Believer.

The Bible says in Colossians 1:27, it says:

“Christ in you, the Hope of Glory”.

So, there is this identification with Christ that remains the Foundation of anyone’s “Genuine Salvation”.

And how can we escape if we neglect so great a Salvation? – Hebrews 2:3.

So ultimately, we discovered that, you see our association with Christ is the Foundation of anyone Salvation. And that association begins first of all with our acknowledgement of that Christ as authentic.

Christ, recognized as Lord and Saviour is the Foundation of anyone’s Salvation. And that is why you must understand that when it comes to anyone’s walk with the Lord, it starts with that Name.

It begins absolutely with that Name.

No matter what you are confronted with, and this is not just talking about the Salvation of our Soul as far as being born again is concerned. But no matter what you are confronted with in life, there are many names that they be called by individuals, but you must understand that there is only one Name by which anyone can be saved – Saved from calamities, troubles, whatever the case may be.

The Bible says that the Name of the Lord in Proverbs 18:10: Is a Strong Tower, the Righteous runneth into it and is safe.

The only Name that will have a response from Heaven, anytime it is called, is the Name of Jesus Christ.

You see, when we call upon that Name, Heaven is at attention; God goes into action on our behalf because the Name of Jesus is a Name that gives you a High Access, Supernatural Access to Heaven’s attention.

And that is why we say that the entire Christian experience relies absolutely on the Authenticity of the Name of Jesus Christ.

What else did we say was that: It relies absolutely on the Capacity of the Name of Jesus Christ.

What do I mean by this?

You see, the Name of Jesus is invested with “Unusual Capacity” – God has put the entirety of His abilities into that Name.

In the Book of Ephesians 3:20, the Bible tells us there, it says: Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the Power that is at work in you.

So, the Bible makes it clear to us that the Power of God is Inexhaustible.

… Now I want you to think about that very closely.

It says that: No matter what it is that any individual is going to be confronted with the ability of God is far beyond it!

He says: I’m beyond your ability to even ask or think – what does that mean?

Our Mental Capacity is insufficient to comprehend the abilities of God.

That is an awesome Thought!

We don’t have enough gigabytes in our minds to comprehend the abilities, the capacities of God.

1. It’s inexhaustible.
2. It’s insurmountable.
3. The abilities of God is beyond what any individual can ever fathom in his mind.

This is a Powerful Thoughts for you and I to have.

We must recognize that when we talk about God’s abilities, it’s Inexhaustible. And the abilities of God in His entirety is Packaged within the Name of Jesus. That when I invoke the Name of Jesus, the abilities of God goes to work on my behalf

.That’s a Powerful thing for anyone to think about.

That is why Jesus said in the Book of John 14:12-14. He said this very clearly – He said:

He that believeth upon Me the works that I do, shall he do also and Greater Works than these shall he do because I go to my Father.’

And He went on the say in Verses 13 and 14, He said: If you ask anything in my Name, I will do it.

So, God makes it absolutely clear to you and to me, that the Name of Jesus is what gives you a High Access to the entirety of the abilities of God.

Why do I say the abilities of God?

I say if for this one reason, the Bible makes it very clear to us that whatsoever the Father doeth, so also the Son doeth.

Let’s look at that in John 5 and see what the bible is saying from Verses 19 21; you will see that the abilities of Christ is the abilities of God.

And here, we are made to see that: That very ability of God is made available to us when we invoke the Name of Jesus.

John 5:19-21; it says there:

19. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things so ever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
20.  For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
21. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

So, here we see Jesus making it clear to us that whatever He sees the Father do, that is also what He does.

So, in other words, Jesus’ Capacities and Abilities, a replica of that of God.

And here we are made to see clearly that when an individual operates with that Name of Jesus, the abilities of Christ is made available to that Person. And that ability is inexhaustible in its Potential.

That is why you discovered that anytime a Person engages the Name of Jesus with understanding, he steps out of his Capacity into the Ability of God and then whatever God can do becomes doable on his behalf.

You see; I had an experience a number of years ago when I was studying the Scriptures and I came across these very Verses of Scriptures; John 14:12-14.

As I began to study it, I began to realised something about the Name of Jesus – That anytime we engaged the Name of Jesus, we are engaging the ability of God, not our own ability.

So, I began to understand it from this Standpoint: That anytime I utilized the Name, it is no longer my ability that is actually been invoked, but rather the ability of Christ.

In other words, no matter what I’m confronted with, when I engaged that Name, it is Christ Power and Christ’s Ability that is being released.

It gave me a tremendous boost in my Faith because I began to realised that: If I see a thing that looks bigger than me; when I say in the Name of Jesus, it is no longer I that speak but Christ that is speaking through me.

And that meant that everytime I approached a situation like that, I expect the result of Christ to answer on my behalf.

Because I came to see very clearly from the Scriptures, that it is the ability of Christ, except Christ could do nothing about it, then I can be expectant to see Christ Perform on my behalf when I engaged that Name.

That is the Potency and the Capacity that is made available in the Name of Jesus.

So, our Christian experience is infiltrated with God’s Abilities when we invoke the Name of Jesus.

You see, it is important for us to understand that: We are designed by God to have “Outstanding Experiences” – We have to Stand Out in our walk with the Lord.

The Bible says in the Book of Romans 8.

I want us to read this quickly – Romans 8:19-21.

We see the Picture that God has consented His children beginning from verse 19 it says:

19. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

So, the Bible makes clear to us here that every child of God is ordained by God to Stand Out.

Hallelujah.

We are ordained by God to be a Sign in our Generation.

The Power, the ability of God is expected to find Practical Expressions in our lives.

So, you are not created as a Non-Entity – No matter what situations you may be facing, no matter what circumstances you may be confronted with; you are a Child of God, and as a child of God, you are ordained to manifest a Glorious Destiny on the Earth.

And I Pray that will be your experience in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Amen.

Now, having said that – We said that our entire Christian experience is affected: By the Authenticity, by the Capacity, and by the Authority of the Name of Jesus.

Why is that?

Because the entirety of God’s Authorities invested in that Name.

So, it is not only is His Power or Ability in the Name, but His Authority is invested in the Name of Jesus.

Wow, the Authority of God, the Authority of Christ is loaded within the Name!

Now, I want us to begin to examine this in the Book of Philippians 2:9-11, which I have as my anchor Bible Text for this Teaching.

Philippians 2:9-11; Look at what the Bible says to us here. It says:

9. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given him a name which is above every name.
10. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
11. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This is such an excited Person in the Scripture because God makes it very clear that the Authority of God is loaded in that Name of Jesus.

That is why at every invocation of the Name, satanic opposition’s bow.

The Name causes the authority of God to ring in various locations.

Look at what the Bible said there: He said things in Heaven, things on the Earth, things that are Underneath the Earth – All of them respond to the Authority of that Name.

So, the Name of Jesus is loaded with Authority.

When you work in an organization, you will discovered that many times you have letters or memos or communication that comes out from the Leaders of the Organization, whether it be a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), or whether it’s a Pastor, or a Managing Director; whatever the case may be – Whoever is the Leader of the Organization from time to time, there are different things that come out of such individual’s offices.

But it is common that many times such individuals have secretaries. The secretaries many times are responsible for the content of the letters or the memos that go out of such offices.

While the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Leader may make some editing and all of that; sometimes you just have Partners and these individuals type the letters.

And after they type the letters and letters are completed, it is going to be sent out

You know: Physically, then a copy of the letter is given to the Leader and he signs it. The letter is typed by the Secretary, but it is signed by the Leader.

The moment the letter is signed, it does not belongs to the Secretary; It now belongs to the Leader.

That is what the Name of Jesus is – It is an individual, who types what they want, who defines what they want to communicate, and then sign it off with the Name of Jesus.

The Name of Jesus is the Signature of Christ – Which communicates the Authority of Christ in any situation.

That is why when we Pray, we Pray in the Name of Jesus.

And when we Pray that Name what happens we begin to receive instant responses because the Name of Jesus carries the Authority.

The moment a letter leaves an Organization as Signed by the Leader, it is treated as the “Communication of the Leader” regardless of who typed it.

In the same vein, when communication leaves from the mouth of a Saint, from the mouth of a Believer, and it is signed off with that Name of Jesus. Wherever that communication arrives, it is treated with respect to the Authority of the one who signed it – And that is Christ.

You see, so we operate the Authority of God on the Earth by engaging the Name of Jesus.

So, all of our Christian experience starting from Salvation to the Dominion that we manifest on the Earth is tied to the Name of Jesus.

That is why I said: All of our Christian experience is always dependent absolutely on the Authenticity, the Capacity and the Authority of the Name of Jesus.

Now that being said, we can see so much is loaded within this Name – It is Pregnant with Wonders.

The Bible makes it very clear to us in the Book of Isaiah 9:6 – It said: His Name shall be called Wonderful.

… WONDER-FULL

WONDERFUL – FULL OF WONDERS

When Jesus got His Disciples going on assignment in Luke 10:17-19; in Verse 17; The Bible says the seventy (70) returned again with Joy, saying Lord even the devils are Subject unto us through thy Name.

So, the Name of Jesus brought Authority over devils – The Devils were Subject in His Name.

So, every time we invokes the Name of Jesus, there is Practical expressions of the Authority of Christ in whatever it is that we are confronted with.

And I trust God that from this day onwards; that Authority of Christ will begin to manifest through each one of us in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Amen.

Now, we have seen that there are Wonders in the Name – The Name is Wonderful, loaded with Wonders, Pregnant with the Supernatural.

But the question really is: How do I provoke the Wonders in the Name?

And that is what I want us to focus on this day and I trust that the Holy Spirit will grant us understanding as we do in the Name of Jesus.

Now, how do I provoke the Wonders in the Name?

1. Very important: You must know the Owner of the Name.

It starts with your knowledge of Christ.

Your knowledge of Christ is the Foundation.

Paul said in the Book of Philippians 3:10, he said:

That I may know Him and the Power of His resurrection and the Fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.

That I may know Him!

I want us to understand this today that: The Greatest Pursuit of anyone’s life is the knowledge of God.

The Greatest Pursuit of any individual’s life is the Pursuit of the Knowledge of God.

Psalms 63. Let’s look at what the Bible has to say to us here.

Thank you Jesus.

Psalm 63:8: My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

There is no Greater Investment that anyone can make than the Investment in the Pursuit of God.

Paul said that I may know Him.

In fact if we look at that Book of Philippians 3, where Paul was speaking. Let’s take it from Verse 7 and see what Paul began to say here, so that we can see how much value there is in coming to the Place of the knowledge of Christ.

Philippians 3:7-10, Paul speaking said:

7. But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord; for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.
9. And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.
10. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.

Paul said, my knowledge of Christ is worth the loss of all things.

In other words: There is nothing that is comparable in Value to the knowledge of Christ.

You see, People are interested in doing many things – They want to know how to get money; they want to know how to succeed; they know what they want to know, how to again access to their Marriage Partners.

… They want to know many things, but they have neglected one (1) Major Thing.

The truth is this: Above all else, it is the knowledge of Christ – The knowledge of Christ is of the Greatest Value to anyone’s life.

It’s so important that you and I recognize that.

That is why the question must be asked: Do you truly know Him?

Because no one can know God until you know Christ.

Hebrews 1:3, I love this Scriptures.

The Bible Paints very clear Picture that was here that is so instructive in showing us the necessity of each one of us walking in the knowledge of Christ.

Okay, Hebrews 1:3 – This is what it is: Who being the brightness of His Glory, and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the word of His Power, when He had by Himself Purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High.

‘Who been the Brightness of His Glory and the expression image’ – If you want to know God, if you want to have an experience of knowing God, you cannot do it except through Christ.

So, Jesus is our avenue for the knowledge of God.

For anyone to come to the Point of truly knowing God, the avenue is through Christ.

That is why we must continue to ask that question in all sincerity do I never really know Him?

And I know we are many – This is a Pastor Seed Family and Convention.

That means that: You know, Practically all of us have been raised within the homes of Ministers of the Gospel, Music Ministers or whatever the case may be.

But there is a Scripture that I saw many years ago that began to drive me because I am a sort of a Man of God as well.

But I discovered something – Look at what the Bible says in 1 Chronicles 28.

And this scripture has continued to drive my Passion for the knowledge of God.

It has driven me to the Point of recognizing the necessity of gaining access to the knowledge of God.

Alright now, 1 Chronicles 28:9 – This is David speaking to Solomon.

He says: And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father and serve him with a Perfect heart and with a Willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all heart and understandeth all the imagination of the thoughts: if though seek Him, He will to be found of thee; but if thou forsake Him, He will cast thee off for ever.

Look at what David is telling his son here – It says: Solomon, you are my son, I have served God with all my life with all my heart. I have done all I know how to do in my Pursuit of God, but you now know the God of your father.

There are many People that knows that their Parents know God, but they don’t know the God and their Parents know. They have not come to the Point of a “Personnel Encounter”, or experience an intimate walk with the Lord. And as a result of that you find them continuously impacted negatively.

The question you have got to ask ourselves is not whether our Parent knows God, but whether we know Him ourselves?

You see, you cannot have second hand knowledge of God – It will always lead to defeat.

Look at something that happened in the Bible here in the book of Acts 19; and this is such a vivid Picture of why each individual requires a Personnel Experience with the knowledge of Christ.

Act 19:13-17, It says:

13. Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the Name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul Preacheth.

(Look at that very closely. We are, we have commanded you in the Name of Jesus that Paul Preaches.)

14. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
15. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
16. And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
17. And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the Name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

This is a very, very interesting Portion of the Scriptures.

These individuals, they had heard Paul Preaching – Paul had revelation of Christ.

You know, we saw in Philippians 2; when Paul said that I may know Him – So, Paul knew Jesus. He had such an intimate experience with Christ. It was clear in every area of his life.

And here comes these individuals now beginning to use the revelation of Paul, without a Personal Experience with Christ.

And here comes this man Poses with a devil, saying: Jesus I know, Paul I know but who are you?

And he overcame them, and very humorously, the Bible says that he stripped them naked, wounded them and they began running in town.

You can imagined who would they think is the mad man? – One (1) mad man or the seven (7) individuals?

The mad man is dressed and seven (7) men are naked running on the street.

Why? – Because this individual did not have a Personal Encounter or Experience or Knowledge with Christ.

So, it is not about the God that your Parents know; It is about the God that you know.

Each one of us has to have our Personnel Experience of the knowledge of Christ – It’s so important!

There is no Pursuit that is of Greater Value than to know Him for yourself.

I Pray that God will grant each one of us the Grace to know Him for ourselves in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, the question is, how do you come to a Point where you know Him?

How can you come to this Place where you truly can see that you know Him?

Two (2) things and two (2) Dimensions to it:

I. True Salvation.

Until you are truly Born Again, you cannot know Him.

Our access to the knowledge of God begins at the point of Salvation.

The Bible makes it clear to us in the Book of 2 Corinthians 4:4, it says: In whom the god of this world hath blinded…

Look at that.

And the reason why they blinded them, so that they will not come to the knowledge of the Glorious Gospel of Christ.

So, you find out that outside of Salvation, there is a blockage on our access to the knowledge of the things of the Spirit.

Look at what the Bible says here – 2 Corinthians 4:4, it says: In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the Glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on to them.

So, they will now be able to come to the Place where they know God. The lights that will open, that will cause the face of God to be unveiled to them is not made available – Until such individuals have the blind folding weapon of the enemy taken off their faces, so that they can come face to face with God.

In other words, this Point of Salvation – The Point where the veil is taken away, and we turn to the Lord is the Foundation for anyone experiencing the knowledge of God.

… So, it starts with Salvation.

That is the Point we are trying to make.

Hebrews 2:3 says: How can we escape if we neglect so Great Salvation?

So, for you to gain access to the knowledge of God, you and I must understand that the Foundation of it all is Salvation.

It is when we turn to the Lord in Salvation, that we are able to walk into the depth of the knowledge of God.

Look at the Book of Isaiah 45:22, and see how the Bible puts it there:

Glory to God

Okay, so it says this – Isaiah 45:22 – Look onto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the Earth: for I am God, and there is one else.

Look unto me, turn your face and look at me. And as you do so you will be saved.

It takes a turning onto God – It is that turning Point that brings you to the Place of Salvation.

When we turn to God in Truth and indeed, you and I are Positioned for an experience of Salvation. And that brings you and I to a Place of Liberty.

2. The Next Key is Revelation.

If you are going to gain access to the knowledge of God, or the knowledge of Christ, it is true Revelation.

Remember that we said for that Name to work on your behalf: First you need to know the Owner. And knowing the Owner requires Revelation.

Look at what Paul says here in the Book of Ephesians 1:17-18.

Thank You Jesus.

Ephesians 1:17-18, it tells us there; it says:

17. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

So, the Spirit of Revelation brings us to the knowledge of Him.

Why? – Verse 18 says that:

18. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the Hope of His Calling, and what is the Riches of the Glory of His Inheritance in the Saints.

So, the “Spirit of Revelation” causes our Spiritual eyes to be opened.

Revelation is about the opening of our Spiritual eyes to begin to see the things that the Spirit of God is showing.

For anyone of us to be able to gain access to the knowledge of God; will require the operation of the “Spirit of Revelation”.

The “Spirit of Revelation” opens our eyes to begin to see Him in a New Way.

We are able to explore the realities of Christ, to see and have Genuine Fellowship with Him – And that is the Standpoint of knowledge.

That is the way you get to know Him.

You see many of us know about Him, I don’t doubt that. If we ask stories about Jesus, if we ask Passages about Jesus; Practically all of us can give us stories of Christ. We can give Passages about Jesus. But the question is not whether you know “About Him”, but whether you know “Him”.

There are many People who knows “About” but we don’t Personally know “Him”.

You see, the knowledge of Christ is not transferable – It is you and I that had to have a Personal Encounter and Experience with Him in order for us to be able to see that we truly know Him.

And that starts our Salvation but that is not the end – It continues with Revelation.

And you see: This knowledge is inexhaustible because we must keep growing in it – Revelation has no end. We keep going from level to level.

May God grant us Grace for this in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

In 2 Corinthians 3:18, the Bible says: But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from Glory to Glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

So, we are made to see absolutely clearly that if we are going to walk in the reality of a growing Revelation of Christ, then we require the assistance of the Holy Spirit to keep opening our eyes from level to level.

And I trust that, that will become our experienced from now, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Now, how does Revelation come?

How do I get access to Revelation?

How do I give the Holy Spirit’s room to give me Revelation concerning Jesus so that I can know the Owner of this Name Personally?

Let me give us three (3) very important keys or four (4) keys I believe that will help us:

I. Number one (1) key is that for you to gain access to Revelation number one (1), you must Study the Word.

So, Revelation comes by studying the Word.

Alright – It comes by studying the Word.

Jesus said something in John 5:39, very important – It says: Search the Scriptures because in them you think you have Eternal Life, but they are them which testify of me.

Jesus was making it clear that the Scriptures are the actual window through which we can see and know him.

If you want to know Jesus, be committed to the study of the Scriptures, very important.

Be committed to the study of the Scriptures is not enough for you to listen to Messages – Learn to study the Scriptures by yourself.

The Barian Christians were unique in their own work because they knew how to search the Scriptures, to see whether the things that Paul said were true or not.

We have to develop the necessary appetite for the study of God’s Word so that we can grow from Grace to Grace.

So, it starts with the study of the Word of God.

II. Number two(2) is meditating on the Word.

If you want to keep experiencing deeper knowledge, you have to come to the Place of commitment to the art of meditation, meditation, meditation.

Paul told timothy in the Book of 1 Timothy 3:15. He said to him there – He said: Meditate on these things, and give yourself wholly to them that your Profiting may appear unto all.

So, Meditation is so important.

You see, when you meditate on the Word, you give the Holy Spirit room to come and instruct and speak to you.

You know, Peter was on the house top, we were told in Act 10, and as he went there to Pray, he began to see certain things shown to him and he did not understand what he saw.

But the Bible says in Act 10:19, that as Peter thought on the Vision, the things that God has shown him. As he was thinking about them, meditating on them, the Spirit of the Lord speak and said to him:

“Three men seek you. Go with them doubting noting.

You see a direct Instruction; direct Revelation came as a result of Meditation.

Our commitment to Meditating on the Word of God is one of the vital and most important keys if you are going to gain access to Revelation.

Many People read the Bible, but don’t have access to Revelation because they don’t subject the Scriptures to deep meditation.

Meditation is a vital key – I call it Spiritual Digestion.

It is when you Process the Word of God through meditation that you are able to enjoy the Fullness of what that Word carries.

The Word is rich, it is so deep – In terms of its ability to unveil God, it is inexhaustible.

You know, the Bible say something in Romans 11:33, it says: O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his Judgments, and his ways Past finding out!

You see God is so deep and so wide. There is so much available in Him and it’s all Packaged into the Word of God.

And that Word is our window to the world of God – Where we are able to see God’s World from this window. Where we are able to examine different aspects of his attributes, and get to know him like never before.

But we must ensure that we Process the content of the Word of God through the art of meditation.

So, meditation is that Spiritual Digestion that allows the Word of God to unveil God to us in a Greater Dimension.

Praise God – Hallelujah!

III. Alright, Number three (3) step. I believe is very important is PRAYER.

Prayer is a Platform for Fellowshipping with God.

You see the knowledge of the Person Physically requires Personal interaction.

In the same vein, the knowledge of Christ requires Personnel interaction with Him. And the Place of Prayer is the Place where we interact with Jesus and interact with Lord like never before.

That’s the Altar of Prayer!

You know, in Hebrews 7:25; the Bible says: That He ever leaves to make intercession for us. He is able to save us to the uttermost.

So, Jesus is in the Place of intercession, in the Place of Prayer; that is the meaning of that.

So when a man or woman gets to the Place of Prayer, they meet with Him because you are Praying, and He is Praying, He is interceding for us, and we are going to Him in Prayer.

So, the Place of Prayer is a Meeting Point between man and God, between man and Christ. It is in Prayer that you and I can have this Genuine Fellowship with Him.

You know, Jesus went to Pray in Luke 9: 28 and 29, and the Bible say that:

29. And as He Prayed, the fashion of His countenance was altered, and His raiment was white and glistering.

You know there was a Heavenly interaction, Personalities from Heaven – And He was interacting together on the Altar of Prayer.

That is what happens when we Pray.

When we Pray: We come before Him; we come directly before Him, gaining access to His Presence and that is why it is common when you look at the various descriptions of Prayer, you will see this Fellowship Dimension.

Paul was talking in the Book of Ephesians 1, and he spoke there about Prayer.

You will see the context of the Prayer, as we look at a few verses here.

Ephesians 1

Thank you Jesus.

I trust that the Holy Spirit is helping us today, as we are looking at His Word.

Alright, Ephesians 1 and this is what it says beginning from Verse 16, it says – Let me start from verse 15.

15. Wherefore I also, after I heard of your Faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the Saints,
16. Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my Prayers;
17. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give unto you the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Him:

So, you see that there is this consciousness of interaction with the Heavenly Personalities – God Himself, Jesus Christ our Mediator; we come to the Place of Fellowship with them on the Altar of Prayer.

So, the Altar of Prayer is a Place of Exchange where we get into intimate and better knowledge of Christ.

And that is why I want to employ you: Please take time to Pray. Learn to develop the habit of Prayer. Make sure that Prayer is not just something you tick in your activity list for the day but you make your time of Prayer a time of Fellowship.

When you come to the Point of Genuine knowledge, when you interact with him and allow him to reveal himself to you; that is the Purpose of Prayer.

That is one of the vital Provisions of the Altar of Prayer – Gaining access to the deeper knowledge of Christ.

May He grant you Grace to sustain an active and vibrant Prayer Altar in the Name of Jesus – Amen.*

IV. Alright number four (4), when you come to Revelation of Christ is through Service.

Jesus said something in John 15:15, it says: I call you no more servant.

So the People He was talking to were first servant. He said but I call you friends. For a servant does not know the things of his Master.

He said, but all things I have received of the Father, I have made known unto you.

So, when you stand in Service – Serving God, serving Christ, serving His Kingdom, taking every opportunities that is made available to you to serve Him and serve as unto Him.

Take note of what I said.

Not only serving but serve as unto Him. Because sometimes we find People who are doing things in Church, they are active; they are doing this not as unto Christ.

That is why they get offended – Somebody does something to them: You did not know who I am; don’t you know that I grow up in Church; don’t you know who I am?

And then they get offended and then they Push out.

Or they say how can somebody talk to me like that; how can they act like that.

They are serving in Church – Yes. But they don’t know that is as unto the Lord.

The Bible says whatsoever we do; we should do it as unto the Lord.

You see, when you have the consciousness that you are serving Him and you are serving as unto Christ – What happens over time is that you get a deeper knowledge of Him because the moment you are serving with the Person, you are interacting with them continuously and that continuous interaction brings a deepening of knowledge.

That is why you discovered that in any setting where you have a Long Serving, Standing Steward; they almost become as it were relations, because they get so intimate in their knowledge of the individual.

That intimate knowledge brings them to a Place of such Great Proximity that is beyond what anyone can naturally attain without such interaction.

The Place of Stewardship and Serving is a Place of deepening of knowledge.

The more you settle down to serve God, to serve His cause, to Pursue His agenda on the Earth, the more you gain deeper access to the knowledge of Christ.

So, I want to employ you, don’t just be a Stand-by Believer. Don’t be an individual who just continues to watch things happen, be Part of those that makes things happen by serving God in every way that is made available to you.

And as you do, i see the knowledge of Christ getting greater you in the Name of the Lord Jesus – Amen.

So, we have spoken about the knowledge, you must know the Owner of the Name for the Name to work for you.

Now what else is required to Provoke the Wonders in that Name?

3. Number three (3), you must Believe in the Wonders in that Name.

That is believed the fact that, that Name carries Wonders.

The Name of Jesus is not just something we insert in order to make People know that the Prayer point we are Praying has concluded.

So, the Name of Jesus carries within it Wonders but the Wonders in the Name answer to our Faith.

Remember we looked earlier at the Book of John 14:12-14:

“Jesus said: He that believeth upon me the works that I do, shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do because I go to my father.

“`He says: If you ask anything in my Name, (Jesus was speaking), He said, I will do it.”

So, Jesus made it very clear to us that He has the responsibility for Performance, but that the Possibilities is activated by our Faith.

Our Faith in the Name is what Produces results.

I love what Peter said in the Book of Acts 3:16, when people began to look at them and wonder when they saw the man at the get called Beautiful was healed, the Miracle was so Outstanding.

Nobody had ever seen something like, that among them.

The Bible says in verse 16, of the Scripture, Act 3:16, it says -And peter said to them, he said:

16. And His Name through Faith in His Name hath made this man strong.

… His Name, the Name of Jesus through Faith in that Name.

So, the Name of Jesus requires Faith – Your Faith is the Catalyst that causes the Name to deliver.

So, it is not just about knowing the Name, but it’s about believing in what the Name has to offer.

It is loaded with Wonders, but what do you believe?

Well, you see, the depth of your Faith is determined by the Strength of your Knowledge.

Romans 10:17; it says: Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

So, the more of God’s Word that you get access to, the knowledge of God that you get access to, it strengthen your Faith. It gives your Faith the necessary tenacity to deliver.

Hallelujah.

Remember, the Bible says something in Psalms 9:10 – Let me look at that quickly.

His Glory to Jesus.

It says: And they that know thy Name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

… They that know thy Name!

The knowledge that they have determined the trust that they will have.

Your Faith is at the Mercy of your knowledge, and the Name will only answer to your Faith.

So, we must therefore build our Faith on the basis of the knowledge of Christ.

And in doing so we are able to engage the Name Profitably.

Praise God – Hallelujah!

So, the Name of Jesus answers to our Faith.

In the Book of Mark 16:17, the Bible tells us there; Jesus said: And these Signs shall follow them that believe; in my Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.

They believed first and as a result, in my Name they will cast out devils.

So, the Name of Jesus answers on the basis of our Faith.

You know, I came to a Point where I discovered that anytime I am Praying, no matter what I’m facing, when I see a situation bigger than me, and I say in the Name of Jesus, I look at Jesus has been the One who is Prayed.

Sometimes ago, I was Praying for somebody. And I told them, I said: Look at me, I don’t have the ability to help you. But I want you to look to Jesus. If Jesus was here, will you be healed or not?

They said: Yes, I will be healed.

I say, Well, Jesus is not here Physically speaking but I’m going to use this Name.

And when I use this Name, it means that it is His Power that will flow and you will be healed.

And as soon as this individual believed, they got their Miracle like that, not because I had any ability but simply because, the ability of Christ was made available when your Faith rises in the Name.

That man was healed at the gate called Beautiful because Faith was invested in the Name and the Faith in the Name brought the Miracle to Pass.

There are many things in your life that requires a touch of God, but by that Name, as we engage the Name of Jesus, I see your Miracle being delivered in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Amen.

So, you must have Faith in the Name.

Remember, whatsoever is not of Faith is sin. So you need to invest your Faith in that Name.

So, said:

1. First (1st) was, you must know the Owner of the Name.
2. You must engage Faith in the Name.

And what else?

And we close with this

3. You must engage the Name for the flow of Wonders.

Don’t just believe it. Don’t just know about it, but use it – Hallelujah!

Use it!

Now that your Faith is intact in that Name, use it. Use the name with confidence.

Glory to God.

God gave the Disciples the Name – Peter went and used it.

God gave the seventy (70) Disciples the Name, and they went out and used it.

He said in thy Name – He said even devils were forced to bow in thy Name.

So, the Name of Jesus must be used – Use it.

He has given you the license for it as a believer, use it.

Glory to God – Hallelujah!

Use it with that Sense of Understanding that it carries Wonders within it, that as I’m utilizing it, the Wonders begin to answer on my behalf.

And as you do so, I see that becoming your experience in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

The Wonders within the Name will begin to flow Supernaturally through you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Amen.

That is why you discovered that there is nothing that the devil will fight like the use of the Name.

You know something happen in the book of Act 4:17.

You see, Satan is so angry at the use of the Name. He will use every tactics to try to stop you from using it.

Act 4:17; it says: But that it spread no further among the People, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this Name.

Don’t you notice that in our Society today, People who are Believers, they know Christ, they know the Power in the Name, but somehow the devil is trying to manipulate People to where they become ashamed of using the Name of Jesus.

So, say to five (5) People: You don’t have to say Jesus everywhere for People to know that you are Believers.

Now listen to this – Yes, you don’t have to announce Him everywhere for People to know you are a Believer, but that Name, inside that Name are the Wonders that you require.

So, never be ashamed of the Name. Use it wherever you are. Utilize the Name to your advantage.

It says there, it says: Let us threaten them that they don’t speak anymore in this Name.

Let them abandon the use of the Name. let them use other techniques. Let them keep going to Church, carrying out activities but let them leave the Name behind.

Look at that, it says: We are not going to stop them from holding their meeting but let us make sure they stop using the Name.

There is an assault of the devil against the Name of Jesus. He does not want us to utilize the Name because he knows that when the Name is engaged, his powers are frustrated.

But I know that that agenda of Hell is already frustrated today, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Amen.

So, what is God saying to you and to me – We have been given the right to utilize the Name, use it. Use it, don’t let anything stand in your way. Use the Name of Jesus, it must be voiced for it to Produce results – So voice out the Name of Jesus.

You know what Peter said to that man, he said: Silver and Gold I have none, but such as I have something; in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

He knew that the Name was a tangible instrument given to him by Christ to utilize on the Earth.

What am I saying to you, my brother, my sister is that the name is loaded.

But God says for you to make the most of it, know the Owner; believe in the Wonders that he carries; and use it.

I Pray that as we put these steps to work, we will see the Full Potential of that Name answering on our behalf in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Amen.

ALTAR CALL

I would not like to conclude this Session today, assuming that everybody that is listening to me today or reading now on the Label of DMC is saved.

Salvation is not a transferable experience – It is a Personal one.

And there are some of you who have been saved before but something has gone wrong. You have found yourself disconnected from God somewhere – Maybe by disappointments of things that have gone wrong in your life somewhere along the line and nobody may even know but inside, you know something is wrong and you need a New Beginning.

This is an opportunity and I don’t want it to Pass you by.

So, I’m going to lead those that fall into any of those two (2) categories in the Word of Prayer.

And as you Pray this Prayer after me, your relationship with God begins afresh and you have a Glorious adventure with the Lord.

So, if you want to Pray this Prayer, Please lift up your right hand wherever you are, and say these Words after me from the depths of your heart.

Say after me: Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I am a sinner. I cannot help myself but I know you died for me. On the third day you rose again, just to save me. Jesus, come into my life as my Lord and Saviour. Take control of me from this day forward. I will follow you. No turning back. I will serve you. No turning back. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me in Jesus Name – Amen.”

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Now, keep your hands lifted as I Pray:

Father, I thank You today for these Precious ones that have come in response to Your call.

I thank You because there is no one that comes to You that you ever turn back.

Therefore thank You for accepting them.

I ask that Your Grace will be available for each one of them to walk with You throughout the days of their lives and that at the end of each one of their journeys, they will conclude with an Eternity with You in Heaven In the Name of Jesus.

Thank You Father for it.

In Jesus Precious Name – Amen and Amen.

CONCLUSION

Wow, what a Joy.

I’m so glad that you Prayed that Prayer.

I want to congratulate you on a brand New Journey that lies ahead of you.

I believed that other details and instructions will be given to you over time, so that you can maximize your walk with the Lord.

I know that so much is available for you in Christ. And I trust that you will begin to experience the Fullness of the Blessings that He has in store for you in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Once again, I want to appreciate this great opportunity given to me to share God’s Word with each one of us today.

And I Pray that the blessings of God will remain upon each one of us – Amen.

And for all of the various Festivities going on within this Convention, I Pray that God’s Presence will manifest in Greater Dimensions than ever before in the Name of the Lord Jesus – Amen.

Once again, I want to appreciate this Privilege. The Lord richly bless you in Jesus Name – Amen.
