OPENING PRAYER

Father Almighty, we want to give You all the Glory and Honour for who You are – The Ancient of Days, the Great I am that I am, the Unchangeable Lord.

We want to thank You very, very much for what You did during our last Convention – Thank You for Proving to the whole world that definitely You are Wonderful.

Please, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Today, we Pray that even as Your Words will be going forth; the Power that is in Your Words will bring Healings to Your People, will bring Deliverance to Your People.

We Pray that as a result of this Particular Message; there will be many, many Testimonies.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

We want to take a look at Jeremiah 32:27:

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

During the Past Convention; we tried to look at the “Wonders of God” – The One whose Name is Wonderful!

We talked about the Wonders of His Love; the Wonders of His Mercy et cetera, et cetera.

But we couldn’t exhaust all these Wonders.

And so, we will want to talk a little about this Wonderful God this Sunday and maybe a couple of Sundays to follow.

In the Bible Text that we have read; the Almighty God is the One asking the Question here.

He said: Behold I am the Lord; the God of all Flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

Someone once said that when a Teacher asks a question; it is not that he doesn’t know the answer.

As a matter of fact; he knows the answer and he is merely asking to find out if the Student knows the answer.

So, when God is asking: Is there anything too hard for Me? – He knows the answer.

And the answer of course is: Nothing is too hard for Him.

And today; we want to talk about: “The Wonders of His Abilities”.

When we talk about “Ability”; we are talking about what you have enough Strength or Power or Influence to do.

So, when we talk about your Abilities; we are asking or we are trying to find out:

I. What can you do?

II. What do you have enough Strength to do.

III. What do you have enough Power to do?

IV. What do you have enough Resources to do?

V. What do you have enough Influence to do?

Now, Psalms 91:1 tells us that: Our God is the Almighty and He is also The Most High.

He that dwelleth in the Secret Place of the Most High shall abide under the Shadow of the Almighty.

… Our God is the Most High, Most Influential and The Almighty – That is someone who has ALL Might!

The Bible says in Isaiah 40:29 that not only does He has tremendous amount of Strength; He has More Than Enough to Spare.

He is the One who gives Strength to the weak.

So, we want to then look at this Great God and then check a few of the things He can do:

1. He has the Ability to bring Something out of Nothing.

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:3; that the whole world that we see; is framed out of Nothing.

… The Almighty God just said: Let there be a world and there was a world.

The Bible says that the things that we see are not made from things that do appear.

In other words; whatever you can see: The Sun, the Moon, the Stars et cetera et cetera; God just said: Come, Be and they be – Not that He looks for something to put together to achieve that Purpose.

… He can bring something out of Nothing!

You find another example in Exodus 17:1-6.

When the children of Israel were thirsty and they wanted water and He brought out water out of the rock – All He has to do is to tell the Rock: Produce water and water will come.

Now, the reason why this is a Wonder to us and a “Beautiful Wonder” at that is that: He can Produce Something for you out of Nothing.

I. We have heard of “Tremendous Testimonies” of women that doctors said had no Fallopian Tubes and yet God gave them children.

II. We have heard of women that doctors said that they have No Ovaries and the Lord gave them children.

III. We have heard Testimonies of a brother who has no Testicules and yet God Produce children through him.

IV. We have heard the Testimonies of a sister who had No womb and yet God gave her children.

… God can Produce Something out of Nothing!

And so when God says that He is going to do Something for you; Please don’t begin to think of how is He going to do it? What is He going to use? What Methods? What are the Resources available to Him to bring it to Pass?

… Just remember that He can bring Something out of Nothing!

2. The Second (2nd) Wonder about His Abilities is that: He can Resurrect.

To “Resurrect” means that: He can bring Something that is already dead back to Life.

… He has the Power to do that!

And we have several examples:

I. In Genesis 18: 9-14; you remembered when He (God) told Abraham that within a Year; the wife will bring forth a son. And that Sarah heard and laughed.

That day, God Said: Is there anything too hard for Me?

Because He was addressing a woman whose womb was already dead.

According to Romans 4:19; it tells us that the womb of Sarah was already dead.

But once God spoke; Resurrection came!

He can raise the dead and we have several other examples in the Scriptures.

II. In Mark 5: 35-43; we had the Story of Jairus daughter who was dead and the Lord says: No, she is not dead but just sleeping and People laughed because they knew the girl was dead.

But when God said Somebody is not dead; it means the fellow is not dead.

So, He brought her back to life.

But like I have shared with some of you before: There are some People who said: No, No, No; maybe the girl wasn’t really dead – After all He said that the girl was just sleeping.

III. And so He gave us another example in Luke 7: 11-15.

When He brought Somebody who was already on the way to the Burial Ground back to Life.

This one was not just dead; they were going to bury the boy.

But there are some few People who felt maybe the boy was in a coma and on the way to the Burial Ground, some fresh air blew on him and so he came back to Life but Jesus Christ just came in at the right time.

IV. Which was why in John 11 – You can read from Verse 1 to the End.

When they told Him that His friend Lazarus was sick – He waited.

He waited until he was dead, buried and had been in the grave for four (4) days before He Showed Up.

So, this one is not Somebody who is sleeping, this one is not Somebody in a coma – This one is Someone who is already stinking but He brought him back to Life.

… He can Resurrect!

… Dead eyes, dead hands, dead wombs – Whatever they said is dead; there is a God who is still doing the Work of Resurrection and He will resurrect for you today in Jesus Name – Amen!

3. He can reverse the Irreversible.

When we say something is Irreversible; it means that there is just anything anybody can do to bring that thing back to what it used to be.

But when you read Ezekiel 37: 1-10; the Bible tells us of a Valley full of dry bones.

And to tell us how dry the bones were; the Bible repeated that: Lo, they were very dry – Just to let you know that we are talking about Somebody who is not just dead; not just buried, who is not just being in the grave for a while – This fellow is completely dead and it has become bones – Dry bones.

But the Almighty God spoke a Word and the dry bones came back to Life and the dead bones became a Mighty Army.

And then in Daniel 3: 14-30; we have the case of three (3) boys – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego that were thrown into a fiery furnace.

The Bible says that the furnace were so hot that those who threw them in; even just getting close to that furnace – Killed them.

Now; if u throw Somebody into a furnace like that; that fellow is a Goner. But not with God because He brought them back and there was not even a smell of fire on them.

When we talk about something being Irreversible; when we talk of something that has been burnt – We don’t know any Science yet that can bring Ashes back what it used to be.

There is no Science for that – The only Science for that is God.

These boys were supposed to be gone forever but they came back completely Whole; Untouched by the Fire.

I have always told you the story of one of my sons who was a Soap Maker.

And then one Saturday Evening; when everybody has gone home – He wanted to Prepare some Chemicals that he will use on Monday Morning because he wouldn’t be coming to work on Sunday.

In the Process; he has an accident – He fell, a bowl of acid fell on his face and he was there groaning in Pain until someone saw the factory door opened, came in and saw him and took him to the doctors.

After the doctor gave him First Aid; the doctor asked him: Are you married? He said Yes.

Have you a Child? – At least Somebody who is fairly old? He said Yes but why are you asking?

The doctor said because you will never see again because the acids has eaten your eyes and there is no way you can ever see again.

So, you need Somebody who will be leading you by the hand wherever you go.

And he said to the doctor: Thank you for your reports. You help me just a step further – Get me a taxi that will take me to the Redemption Camp. I have heard your reports, let me go and hear the reports of the Lord.

And I’m telling you; when they brought him, when I saw his face even my own Faith shook.

But as a Man of God; I have to put up a bold face and I had to tell him: My son, don’t worry yourself; with God all things are Possible.

I am talking of almost forty (40) Years now and he is still reading without Glasses.

… There is a God who can reverse the Irreversible!

And every opportunities that you have lost; that is supposed to be gone forever; my Father will reverse and bring it back to you – Amen!

4. He can Hear ALL and He can Answer ALL.

Can you imagine the Ability of Someone who can hear the cries of everybody in the whole world? – Everybody crying to Him for Help; He can hear All.

Psalms 65:2 says: Oh thou that heareth Prayers, unto thee shall all flesh come.

So, you can imagine Someone who is at the same time hearing the cry of Someone in Africa, the cry of Someone in Australia, the cry of Someone in America – All at the same time.

But not only can He hears; He can Answer.

Jeremiah 33:3 says: You call on Me (God); I will answer you.

And according to Genesis 17:1; we find out that the reason He can do that – Hears All; Answers All is because His Name is Jehovah El-Shaddai (The God who is More Than Enough).

Years ago when I was a Younger Christian and I was asking God on this Genesis 17:1 – How can you grant the request of everybody? – If really everybody wants one hundred Percent (100%); they get one hundred Percent (100%).

And He gave me a Simple Illustrations – He said it doesn’t matter how many children are in the Class; the Teacher can award one hundred Percent (100%) to each one of them if they qualified for it.

The fact that Joe has one hundred Percent (100%); does not mean that there is Nothing more to give to Elizabeth.

… He said that: I am the God who is More Than Enough.

5. But the Greatest of All the Wonders of His Abilities is found in Ephesians 3:20.

That is the Place where the Almighty God tells us that: He is able to do how much?

He is able to do Exceeding Abundantly above all that we can ask or think!

Do you know what that means?

I. Anything you Ask; He can do – That one can be easy to understand.

II. But He can do More Than you Ask – In other words; you ask for one (1); He can do two (2) or three (3).

III. And then He can do Exceeding your Request – In other words; it doesn’t mean how much you Ask for – He can go far, far beyond that and then He can do it Abundantly.

IV. And not only that: He can do what you did not even ask for but you just think about.

Now, that to me is Wonderful.

You know in Mathematics; when they say: A Number “X” – I’m not trying to teach you Mathematics but this one is Simple.

If they say that there is a Number “X” and they say that “X” is greater than 2 and they just stop there.

It means the Number “X” can be any number beginning from 3 to one Billion or one Trillion.

Once you say: Greater than 2; you open the door for an “Infinite Number of Numbers”.

So, when it says: He can do Exceeding Abundantly above all you Ask or think; it is time to sit down and say Waoh:

I. I should Expand my Asking.

… I should stop asking for “Small Things”.

You know in John 16:24; Jesus Christ said: Hitherto have you asked Me nothing; ask till your Joy be Full.

In other words; every Prayers that you have Prayed up till this moment is Nothing.

And the Lord is saying: What is wrong with you? Ask for Something Substantial till your Joy be Full.

In 2 Kings 4: 1-7 – All that the Widow asked for was that: God Help me to Pay my debts.

But the Almighty God said: Ha, we can do much More Than that – We can write off your debts, we can still give you enough for you and your children to live on for the rest of your life.

Why are you asking for Something so small?

Is it not written in Psalms 23:5: Thou anointed my head with Oil, my cup runneth over?

That means that there is something wrong with your cup – It is too small, get a Bigger one!

… And no matter how big the cup; it will still run over.

I have told you before about an Uncle of mine and I don’t mind mentioning his name so that if you want to check if I’m saying the truth or not – The Late Chief Fajemirokun.

… By the Special Grace of God; one of the richest men of his time.

You go to Uncle and say: Uncle please give me N1,000 – He will say I don’t have.

Okay, you go back some other time: Uncle please give me N10,000 – He will say I don’t have, don’t bother me.

But when you go to Uncle and you say: Uncle Please I need N100,000 – He will say: Now you are talking. Don’t you know who I am? How can you be insulting me with N1,000?

This Uncle of mine; I’m just using him as an example to let you know how much you have been missing.

He (This my Uncle) was visiting our town and they cornered him on the way – We had a Secondary School there.

And we say: Sir, Please we want you to help us.

He said; What do you want in the School?

We said that we wanted an Accommodation Hall for the Boys.

He said: I see – What about the Girls?

Ha, well we won’t mind if we have one for the Girls too?

He said what about the School Hall?

… We are using the Dinning Hall also as the Place of Assembly.

He said: You Principal – Have you a house?

All we asked for was an Accommodation Hall for Boys – He gave us an Accommodation Hall for Boys, for Girls, School Hall and a house for the Principal!

I’m encouraging somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – Because up till now; you have been insulting God with your little, little asking!

I told you of a time I needed fifty Pounds (£50) in the United Kingdom – You have heard the Story before.

I asked God for fifty Pounds (£50); within minutes it came.

I said that: If I knew that You (God) will answer me so quickly; I would have asked for one hundred Pounds (£100)? – Within minutes, it became one hundred Pounds (£100).

I said Lord; thank You very much. If I knew that this is how Generous you can be; I would have asked for one hundred and fifty Pounds (£150) – Within minutes; it became one hundred and fifty Pounds (£150).

And then I became afraid.

Why are you afraid when you are approaching the All Sufficient God?

And I told you how He (God) told me because I became afraid and I said: Lord, I’m just joking o.

He (God) told me that if instead of fifty Pounds (£50); I have asked for five thousand Pounds (£5,000); He would have given it to me.

I’m telling you: I wish I can rewrite the Story?

Why are you Limiting the One who has No Limits?

Don’t Limit the Holy One of Israel – His Abilities are Wonderful!

… So, Increase your Asking!

II. Expand Your Thinking

He said that: He can do Exceeding Abundantly above all you Ask or think.

The Bible says in Isaiah 40:28. He said: There is No Searching His Understanding.

… Increase Your Thinking – Stop Thinking of a “small god”.

And the One who spoke and the whole Heaven and the Earth came into Being – Think of Him more reasonably, He is not a “small god”.

I mean in 2 Chronicles 9: 1-6 – The Bible tells us that the Queen of Sheba came to visit Solomon and the Queen was wealthy too.

She came with all manners of Goodies, loaded the Carmel with Golds and Spices.

And then she came and saw Solomon – She thought that she was Great and then she saw Greatness.

She confessed – She said: What I heard about you I didn’t believed but now I can see that they have not even told me half.

No matter how hard I tried; I can’t tell you half of the Abilities and Power of God – I don’t have the words to describe them to you!

… Expand your Thinking!

Because if you just think; He will Supply!

I told you a Story of one day when we were going A-Fishing – My children and I.

And then we saw a Notice: “Turkey for Sale”.

It was Christmas Period and I just said to my children jokingly: You know that I never had Turkey for Christmas?

And we just forgot about it.

I didn’t Pray for Turkey – I just thought that maybe one day.

By the time we came back home; there were three (3) Turkeys waiting for me for the first time in my Life.

I went to Church the following Sunday and I told the People this is what happened oh – I thought about Turkey and God Provided three (3).

And then I told them that this is not an Invitation for you to come to dinner Oh!

Before I came back home; Turkey has increased to seven (7).

Why don’t you think about something Great concerning yourself?

Why are you Limiting how High the Almighty God can take you?

Why don’t you think of yourself: Opening Blind Eyes; Making the Lame to Walk; Raising the Dead!

III. Maximise Your Potentials.

You are connected to this God – This Almighty God is your dad; why don’t you make the best of the fact that you are related to Him?

I mean consider Esau in Genesis 27: 38-40 – His father has blessed the Younger Brother.

He came in after that was done and then said: Papa, don’t you have a Blessing left?

His father said: I have already poured the whole thing out on your brother.

He said: Is there No Remnants?

Father said: Alright, I will give you a Remnant.

Esau got a “Remnant of Blessing” – He Maximised it and by the time we get to Genesis 33: 1-9; by the time the one who got the “Real Big Blessing” came and they met face – to – face and he (Jacob) was offering him (Esau) all manners of things!

… Esau said: I have enough, keep your own!

Now, listen to me children: By being the children of The Most High God; a little ‘God Bless You’ from Him – Just a “Remnant God Bless You” from Him can turn you to a “World Figure”.

Stop thinking of yourself as Someone who will change a Nation – What is wrong in you being a “World Changer”?

… Maximise Your Potentials!

The only one among you – Those of you who are listening to me now or reading on the Label of DMC now; who would die “Small” is either the one who refused to surrender to Jesus Christ and make God His Father or the one who will hear what I have just said (or read later on, on the Label of DMC) and do Nothing about it.

THE ABILITIES OF YOUR FATHER IS UNLIMITED!

He can do absolutely anything!

If you do not find any example in the Scriptures to convince you; will I ask with all Humility to consider my Life.

I was in Mushin (A Low Earner Part of Lagos State, Nigeria) living in a Room – I asked for a House, He Promised that He will give me a City.

… That is an evident to you that we are Serving a God who is “Unlimited in Ability”.

ALTAR CALL

So, if you are out there and you are yet to surrendered your Life to Him. Because the moment you surrendered your Life to Him; you become one of His children, He becomes your Father – And He can Pronounce just a “Simple Blessing” on you and your Life will change.

But if you refuse to surrender to Him; you are just cheating yourself.

Shall we bow our heads in Prayers:

So, if you are listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC and you want to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ now so that He can save your Soul, so that He can wash away your sins, so that He can receive you into the Family of God – Cry unto Him now and say: Have Mercy on me; Please save my Soul, receive me into Your Family.

Because the Bible said: To as many that received Him, to them gave Him Power to become sons of God.

If you want Him to be your Father; cry unto Him today and He will grant your request.

And let all the others who are already sure that God is our Father – Let us intercede for all these People: That the Almighty God will save all their Souls and receive them into the Family of God.

Let us Pray for them for just few seconds more and then I will Pray.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God I want to Thank You – I want to Thank You for Your Words; I want to Thank You for the Power that is in Your Words.

I want to Thank You because You are the Almighty – Your Might is Unlimited.

You are the God of all Flesh and there is Nothing too hard for You.

And I’m asking for all those who are crying to You for Salvation now – Everyone of them Father, save them; let Your Blood wash away their sins; write their names in the Book of Life; receive them into the Family of God and let them remains yours forever.

And Father, I’m committing all Your children – The New ones just coming in and the Old ones who has been Your children all these Years; from now on: The Grace to Ask You for “Great Things”; the Grace to “Think Big”; to think Worthy of the children of The Most High – Grant to us in Jesus Name.

And whatever Prayers they Pray today; my Father and my God answer by Fire.

Thank You Almighty God.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Now, let someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

ANNOUNCEMENT

Well, I know that it is up to you now how much you Pray, what you Pray for and if you keep on Asking for “Small Things” – Well, it is up to you, it is your fault.

There is Nothing you can ask Him for that He won’t give unto you.

So, during your Prayer Time; make sure that you Ask God for “Great Things” and He will not fail you – Amen.

PRAISE THE LORD – HALLELUJAH!!!
