OPENING PRAYER

Father, we Thank You because we have You as our Lord, as our Father, as our Maker, as our Leader, as our Supplier!

We Thank You Oh God for the Support System that You have given to us.

Thank You because You are not a Father that abandons; You are a Father who is Reliable; You are a Father we can count on!

… We say Thank You to You!

Thank You for sending Your Only Begotten Son – Jesus Christ to die. Thank You for the Precious Blood He shed at Golgotha.

And Father, today Lord, we ask that as we Thank You for what You have done: everyone that is hooked to this Digging Deep today or reading from the Label of DMC:

We Pray Lord, that what God can do, what the Name of Jesus Christ can do; what the Blood of Jesus Christ can do; let there be Healing!

Let every shackles of evil be totally destroyed!

And Father Lord, I commit my mouth, my head and my heart to You; I am not representing myself but I represent my Leader, my father in the Lord.

I Pray that i will not do violence to Your Word.

Within the time allotted, give me Unction to function in the Name of Jesus.

Let everyone that will be Part of this Study or reading now on he Label of DMC be Blessed.

We lift our father in the Lord, his wife and family to You today: Let Your Glory find expressions in their lives. Fight their battles for them, meet all their needs. And continue to Anoint them fresh, in the Name of Jesus.

And Father, everyone who has written a Letter requesting for Healing, for Progress, for Breakthrough; request to be Successful in examinations, success in Interview and Promotion examination.

Please, grant all their requests, in the Name of Jesus!

And Father, when all is said and done, let us make it to Heaven.

We are grateful to God for today.

And I am grateful to my father in the Lord for the Privilege to be able to do what we are doing.

We want to Thank the Lord for all the People who made themselves available: from staff of Dove Media (and Discovery Media Crew), all the Minstrels and Keyboardists. God Bless all of them in Jesus’ Name – Amen!

Today, we want to look at: “The Blessings and Responsibilities of the Blood of Jesus.”

And I am going to read from: JOHN 6:53-56;

53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

The Lord Bless the Reading and Hearing of His Word, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

I am not talking about the Holy Communion; it is also Part and Parcel of what we may be looking at today.

Now, the BLOOD OF JESUS Provides the Only Solution to the Greatest Man’s Problem.

We are are born into the falling world, resigned to Participate in a degenerated existence – without hope of recovery.

Now, the Pain of sin and death, immediately attracted itself unto us, and put us in a Perpetual Pit of damnation.

And as each day draws near; as we stay on the Earth, we are getting closer to the pit of never returning.

Even our own Will will separate us from God.

But Thanks be to the Lord, that God created a Solution.

I mean, the POWER OF THE BLOOD is what gives us Redemption – The Blood shed for Mankind.

The Book of Romans 5:8 talks about the Redeeming POWER of the Lord Jesus Christ. And without that Power, we are DOOMED.

That Scripture says: “But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Praise God! – A big Problem solved.

‘BLOOD’ is mentioned over three hundred (300) times in the Bible. And it is one of the essential things that is key, to the Doctrine of Christ’ Atonement.

The Bible in Colossian 1:20-23, talks about His Blood; and with that Blood, Jesus reconciled us unto Himself.

Many Christians today, they either forget or they are ignorant of the Blessings in the Blood of Jesus Christ.

… The Blessings of the SINLESS Blood that was shed.

We need a clear understanding of this.

And the Scriptures has answers to this because the Pages of the Scripture has something to say to us about the Blood; about what the Blood can do!

What I am going to say today, may not be exhaustive, because there are quite a lot, we need to mention.

But let me quickly say this: In Ephesians 1:7, the Bible says: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his Grace;”

And this is how Redemption used to work, under the Law of Moses.

In Exodus 21:28-30;

Now, when they drag a man to the Court, in the days of Moses. And maybe they said, the Ox of that man has hooked somebody to death.

Now, they need to kill the Ox, and the owner will actually go for it. If he doesn’t have something to redeem himself;

I read about a Person whose cattle killed somebody. And they went to the court.

And the Judge said: ‘Your cattle has killed someone, it needs to be killed”.

And somebody said: Much more than that! Because we have warned this man over and over.

And they asked him: Do you have a Witness?

He said Yes! And person said, Yes. We have been warning him.

… The Judge said, okay, KILL THE MAN!

And as they were dragging the man, he said: I can redeem myself. I have what it takes to be able to do it.

So, the man redeemed himself with what he had; he forfeited what he had!

You see, Jesus Christ – according to 1 John 5:19; the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

Romans 6:6 tells us: We were slaves to the Power of sin.

In Romans 8:15, the Bible says: We were in bondage, having the spirit of bondage.

But Jesus Christ Paid the Price! He substituted His life for our sins.

In the Book of Acts of the Apostles 20:28, it says:

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the Church of God, which he hath purchased with his own Blood.”

So, we are Purchased, and Purchased by the Blood of JESUS.

SOME OF THE BLESSINGS OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS ARE:

1. REDEMPTION and CLEANSING from Sin.

In Revelation 1:5-6; “And from Jesus Christ, who is the Faithful Witness, and the first Begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the Earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and Priests unto God and his Father; to him be Glory and Dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

Jesus Christ cleansed us from the stains and the guilt; He washed us with His own Blood.

Jesus Christ is the “Actual God”, and He is also an “Actual Man”. The Blood He shed was the blood of a man.

… Somebody said: ‘I can’t get it!’

There is no doubt about the Humanity of Jesus Christ and there is no doubt that He is God.

The sacrifice was “The Actual Sacrifice”, and not symbolic:

It was the Blood of the Son of Man that He shed on the Cross of Calvary.

In the Book of John 19:34-35: “But one of the soldiers with a Spear Pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.”

And He Paid for two (2) types of Sin:

I. KNOWN SIN: That is the sin you are aware of, when you become conscious that you have committed sin and you confess.

In 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.”

So, to confess your sins: You admit – You take responsibility for it. No excuse, no blaming of someone for what you have done.

II. The other thing he Paid for is the UNKNOWN SIN.

And when we talk about the “Unknown Sin”, we are talking about the sin you are not aware of.

Now, there are so many sins that you may are not be aware of. But as we walk closely with the Spirit of God, He reveals them to us.

In 1 John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

To walk in the Spirit means to obey Christ; to walk in the truth which the Spirit of God has revealed to us.

So, the Blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin – We know about the sin, we confess and those ones that the Spirit of God reveals to us.

2. CONFIDENCE to ACCESS God’s Presence.

The Blood of Jesus grants us ACCESS to God’s Presence.

In Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of Grace, that we may obtain Mercy, and find Grace to HELP in time of Need.”

Should we talk about God’s Presence; we are talking about you entering into Holiest of holies, because He grants you ACCESS.

In time Past, only few People were granted access.

But the Blood of Jesus Christ has given you and I access to enter into the Holy Place.

So, you can call God your Father; you’ can enter into His bedroom.

Now, the moment Jesus died, and His Blood was shed, He gave us that access.

In Hebrews 10:19, “Having therefore, brethren, BOLDNESS to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,”

When you think of Fellowship, you can likely think of spending time in a Restaurant, in the company of friends.

Fellowship is closeness; the closeness of friendship!

And that is what God has brought us into.

In the days of old, before Adam and Eve sinned; God will come and gave fellowship with them – They enjoyed themselves.

… But when they sinned, things changed!

So, Jesus Christ brought us back to that Fellowship. And it is His Blood that restored that Fellowship.

2 Corinthians 5:21, “For He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

It is the actual response to the Atoning Grace – Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to Ephesians 2:8, we are saved by Grace.

In John 3:16, the Bible says: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not Perish, but have everlasting life.”

What we are saying is: Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for our Redemption and Cleansing from sin.

3. CLEARANCE from the HOLD of Satan.

Ephesians 1:7, “In whom we have Redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His Grace;”

1 John 5:19, “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”

Colossians 1:13, “Who hath delivered us from the Power of darkness, and hath translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son:”

Acts 20:28, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the Church of God, which he hath Purchased with His Own Blood.”

His Blood brought us access and Released us from the hold (the grip) of the enemy.

Remember, the Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God;

And in Galatians 3:11, “But that no man is Justified by the Law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The Just shall live by Faith.”

What we are saying is this: You have clearance from the HOLD; I have clearance from the HOLD of the enemy.

Because, in Him we have Redemption, we have Atonement.

The Blood not only grant us Access; it FREED us from the HOLD of the enemy.

4. CURE for all Sicknesses and Diseases.

No. 1 is Redemption and Cleansing of sin;

No. 2 is Confidence to Access God’s Presence;

No. 3 – Clearance from the hold of Satan.

And No. 4: CURE for all Sicknesses and Diseases.

The Bible says: “Who His Own Self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” – 1 Peter 2:24.

Christ has made Provisions for our Healing – from all manner of sicknesses and diseases. Known and unknown. Whether they have physical or Spiritual causes.

Now, we can Possess Divine Healings from sickness and disease of any kind through the Comprehensive Faith in the Blood of Jesus.

I like the Book of Isaiah 53:5 – And with his STRIPES we are HEALED.

… With the Blood Stripes: I am Healed, you are Healed.

In fact, anywhere you see forgiveness; healing follows; Psalms 103:1-3 says:

“Bless the LORD, O my Soul: and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name. Bless the LORD, O my Soul, and forget not all his Benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;

…. And what follows?

who HEALETH all thy diseases”

… The same Jesus Christ who FORGIVES sin is the same Jesus Christ that heal diseases.

Lay hold on that Promise of Healing, by Faith today!

When Jesus sees you using the Blood, He is happy. And you will have your deliverance.

When you use His Blood, then your Healing is Guaranteed.

God has Provided the Blood, much more than Salvation. There is much more in the Blood, more than Salvation.

He can save you, He can heal you.

That Blood also SEALS you as you travel on your way to the Kingdom.

You need to accept the fact today: That the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses and Healed from all diseases.

… The next Benefit and Blessing of the Blood is;

5. CONSECRATION for Service to the Kingdom.

The Blood Consecrates you and I for the Kingdom – 2 Corinthians 5:17-18,

It is very clear that after we have reconciled to God – through the Blood of Jesus; we were given a Ministry of Reconciliation.

God does not save anyone just for the fun of it – You are saved to reach out to others”.

That is why the Bible says: As my Father has sent me, so I reach out to you.

The Last Commission He gave to His disciples in Matthew 28:18-20, is “GO”!

The same thing He repeated in the Book of Mark 16:15-17 – “GO”!

So, the Blood consecrates you and I for SERVICE!

I Pray: The God of Heaven will help each and everyone of us to function in our Office of Service, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

No one is qualified for Service of the Kingdom, but the Blood qualifies us.

2 Timothy 2:20-21 says: We are consecrated for Service – Our ear, our hands, our legs are totally His. Not for the world, not for Satan.

Those who are dead in Christ, are Alive in Him; to be able to do His Will.

So, our ear must hear the Voice of God, not the sound of the world.

Our hands must Perform Miracle – Use them to heal the sick, and do Good things.

Our Leg must carry us to run errand for the Lord.

So, everything about us must be fully utilized for the Master.

Whether we eat or drink, the Bible says: We should do it to the Glory of the Lord.

So, we need to follow the Master fully. Give Him undivided attention. Serve Him with all your heart because we are all Partaker of His Baptism.

It is my Prayer today and even as you read on the Label of DMC that the Power tone useful unto Him, God will put upon our lives, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

6. CONQUEST over Satan and the Power of Darkness.

In Revelation 12:11 (I like this), we are told: “They overcome the dragon by the Blood of the Lamb.”

The Blood of Jesus gives us deliverance from the affliction of the devil and grants us Victory over Power of darkness.

He now says in Hebrews 12:24, that: The Blood of Jesus speaketh better things than that of Abel.

No wonder the Bible tells us about the forgiveness we received through the Blood.

In John 10:28.

According to the writer of that Passage, he said: We are SEALED by His Testimony.

… The interpretation is mine.

In Hebrews 9:16-17 (according to the Writer) – When a man writes a Testament, it is enforced only after the death of the Testator.

And the Lord wrote in His work for us; that is what He calls ‘an Eternal Inheritance’ in Hebrews 9:15. He bequeathed to us Eternal Inheritance. And when He died, He sealed that Testament for ever and ever!

Matthew 26:28, “For this is my Blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

In 1 Peter 1:18-19 (the whole Chapter is talking about the Blood);

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the Precious Blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot:”

So, with the Blood:

I. Jesus Christ Purchased Authority and Deliverance for us.*

II. The Blood breaks Addiction, it breaks Spiritual bondages. It subdues the works of the enemy.

When we testify of the work of the Blood, now we exercise Faith – our authority over the influence of demons.

Everything the enemy does is REVERSED by the Blood

Aren’t you glad that you have these benefits of CONQUEST over Satan and Power of Darkness?

7. CONSERVATION from Evils and Calamities.

In Exodus 12:13; God told the Israelites that He would make evil to Pass over them when He sees the Blood of a Lamb.

… That was a shadow of the REAL THING!

And that is a Good reason why a child of God should make it a Point of duty to always cover ourselves with the Blood of Jesus.

You cover your life, your family, your belongings, the road you are travelling – Applying the Blood to Protect you.

The Blood is so Powerful and in a world full of oppression, where the ‘strong’ dominate the weak – They do everything Possible to keep People under bondage. They deny them of their liberty and inheritance.

But God assures us of liberty when we Plead the Blood.

When He told the People of Israel, if you want to enjoy Protection, be in your house – Not the People outside the house!

In fact, those who are not Believers, cannot apply the Blood.

The Blood was a Sign, when God moved through the land, He would not destroy those who are His own!

Because the Blood is a Sign that God’s Heritage are in the house.

It is a token and a Sign of Protection, even today – It is a sign of Safety.

But it only Protects those who are in the house. The Blood has no cover for the rebellious ones.

What are we saying?

But let me say this: For everything that God does, there are Conditions. There are Responsibilities attached.

TO ENJOY THE BENEFITS OF THE BLOOD;

I will mention only five (5) of them i quick succession;

You have responsibility to do – Any Blessing that does not have responsibility is an inconsequential blessing.

Now, if you must enjoy the benefits of the Blood:

1. You must be SAVED and fully SURRENDER to God.

You must be BORN AGAIN – In John 3:3 and 6;

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

… A Nonbeliever, cannot use the Blood of Jesus.

Read the story of Passover; it only allowed the Believers to apply it.

So, if you are Born Again and have not fully surrendered. I think you need to do something about it!

… You must be Saved, and fully Surrender!

For you to get maximum Protection, you must surrender all: Your life, your home, your children. Because you actually do not own anything! And anything you surrendered to God, He has ability to keep!

In the Book of Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a Good Work in you will Perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

… Whatsoever you commit to His hand, He can keep!

So, you must both be saved and surrender in order to be able to enjoy the Blessings that we are talking about.

There are Four (4) Things you need to Submit:

• Submit your WILL,
• Submit your WAY,
• Submit your WALK,
• Submit your WORK

You must submit to Him – That is Total Surrender.

2. You need to understand that you Overcome by the Blood of Jesus.

… You need to understand that!

Revelation 12:11, “And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their Testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

The Blessings of the Covenant are yours to take but you have to do your Part to Play.

So you need to engage the Covenant of the Blood; which is our SEAL.

3. Enter with BOLDNESS into the Holiest by the Blood.

Hebrews 10:19, “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,”

Go with boldness into the Throne of Mercy, and secure Grace to help in the time of Need.

4. Come with full Assurance of Faith and heart Sprinkled and Purified from Guilty Conscience by the Blood.

Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of Grace, that we may obtain Mercy, and find Grace to help in time of Need.”

You need Faith and a clean conscience to take delivery of your Inheritance.

“Now Faith is the Substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” – Hebrews 11:1

5. Hold fast the Profession of your Hope.

… Very, very instructive!

“Let us hold fast the Profession of our Faith without wavering; (for He is Faithful that Promised) – Hebrews 10:23.

You must not waver in your confession on the Promises of God.

Hebrews 4:14, “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest, that is Passed into the Heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our Profession.”

You have a Covenant Keeping God: Engage the Blood of Jesus – The Blood and the SEAL of eternal life.

I mean, the Blood is what you can demand, for the fulfilment of Prophecy.

What will you do with this wonderful Help that is available?

Will you be like a rich misery Person who died in Penury because he refused to use his money?

… Money is useless without usage.

And you hear these words, and you don’t apply it. It does not benefit you.

So, the Blood of Jesus Christ has Awesome Power! It was shed for your Blessings (my Blessings). And it can give to you, what money cannot buy.

ALTAR CALL

If you know it can cleanse you today, why don’t you ask God. Why don’t you appeal to Him and say: Use the Blood of Your only Begotten Son to cleanse me.

If you trust in that Blood, I can guarantee you that you have access as we Pray because it is your turn to enjoy the Blessings that God has given.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER.

External King, Thank You for the People who are making decision.

We Worship Your Name for choosing to apply the Blood – the Blood that cleanses from sin.

Everyone who is confessing their sins: Forgive them and wash them by the Power of Your Blood.

Those who are fully surrendering their lives now as we Pray, or while reading on the Label of DMC; take them and let them get the Blessings and the Privileges of the Blood of Jesus.

Lord, let the Blood SEAL us till we see You in Glory.

Cleanse everyone who has gone into error.

Lord, we Pray that You will Restore the backslider by Your Blood.

And when all is said and done, let all of us make it Home!

Thank You Eternal Father.
