OPENING PRAYER

Our Father and our God: The One who lives forever, the One called The Ancient of Days, the One who does not count by Years – We Worship You.

Thank You that at long last, the Year 2020 is ending and very soon, we will be in the Year 2021.

Thank You that whatever the devil may try; he has failed now, he has lost the battle over us – Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Father, we Pray that in the next few minutes before we Cross Over to the New Year; You will send Your Words to us; that Word will energise us and move us even to the Higher realm.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

I want to rejoice with those of you who are listening to us wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC because I believe very firmly that whatever Problem(s) that will be with you up till this moment will not follow you to the New Year – Amen.

We want to talk about: “The Double Cross Over”.

And we will be reading from 2 Kings 2: 8-15:

2. And Elijah took his Mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
3. And it came to Pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I am taken from thee. And Elisha said, I Pray thee, let a double Portion of thy Spirit be upon me.
4. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: `nevertheless’, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
5. And it came to Pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, `there appeared’ a Chariot of fire, and horses of fire, which Parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into Heaven.
6. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the Chariots of Israel and the horsemen thereof! And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
7. He took up also the Mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of the Jordan.
8. And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is Jehovah, the God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they were divided hither and thither; and Elisha went over.
9. And when the sons of the Prophets that were at Jericho over against him saw him, they said, The Spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

I’m Praying for somebody that by the time we enter Year 2021; you will have finally crossed into your Destiny – Amen.

During the Holy Ghost Congress, we spoke on: “It is Time to Fly”.

And I believed that many of us has been flying ever since then.

Now the advantages of Flying – Particularly flying High includes:

1. Becoming far, far beyond the reach of your enemies.

You can fly very high and it becomes very difficult for your enemies to reach you.

Take for example the Eagle – The Eagle is hardly ever killed by the hunter.

Why? – Because it flies High.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; from now on you will be Flying so High that the enemies won’t be able to reach you – Amen.

But in Exodus 14: 1-28; before the children of Israel could be beyond the reach of their “Slave Masters” – The Egyptians; they had to Cross Over the Red Sea.

And the Almighty God described that experience in Exodus 19:4 – He said: I carried you on Eagle’s wings; you flew it as it were across the Red Sea. You Cross Over to a level where the enemies can’t reach you.

In the Name that is above every other names; I decree that all the enemies that has been Pursuing you up till this moment; not a Single one will follow you into the Year 2021 – Amen.

2. Advantages of Flying High includes: The ability to Fly over obstacles.

That is why Flying is so Pleasant a way of travelling because if you are travelling by road; no matter how Good the car is, the road can’t be straight. You have to bend this way, turn this way – You don’t travel straight when you are travelling by road.

Because you have to avoid Mountains, avoid Rocks.

But when you are Flying, you can Fly straight because you are Flying even above the highest Mountain.

That is why you find that in Joshua 6: 1-20; after the children of Israel has Cross Over the Red Sea; when the Wall of Jericho blocked their Way, they Practically flew over it.

All they did was: “Shout” and the Wall fell flat.

The Bible said: They went straight ahead – No bending now.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; every obstacles that has been standing between you and your Goal, you will see them no more in the New Year – Amen.

3. The third (3rd) advantages of Flying High is that you are able to arrive at your destination speedily.

In 2 Kings 2: 8-15 in the Bible Text that we read; in a Single day, Elisha arrived at his Goal.

Because the Master said unto him: What do you want?

He said: I want a “Double Portion” of your Spirit.

The Master said: That’s a “Hard Thing”.

And while they were discussing all these, there were other Servants called “The Son of the Prophet” who were watching – Those who has been quietly mocking him: Son of the Father, you will soon come and join us when your Father is gone.

But within a short Period of time; the “Son of the Prophet” became a Prophet – He became the “Father of the Prophet”.

… It all happened in the twinkle of an eye!

When you are Flying High, you arrive at your destination faster.

In the Coming Year 2021; in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, your Promotions will be accelerated – Amen.

But you see; the Point that we really want to handle; the Point we really want to hammer Particularly for those of us who are “True Children of the Living God” is that there could be two (2) Cross Over.

You see, many of us had a Cross Over during the Holy Ghost Congress – We may not realised it but from some of the Testimonies that I’m already hearing; some People are no longer crawling; they crossed over from crawling to Flying.

But tonight; we are about to have another Cross Over – The Second one.

1. We can see it in the Story of Elisha here: They had a Cross Over once with his father – Both of them crossed River Jordan to the other side of Jericho.

In that First (1st) Cross Over, certain things happened:

I. Elijah flew away.

So, the Man called Elijah was able to begin to Fly.

II. As for Elisha; he received what he wanted after the First (1st) Cross Over.

As we read: From being the “Son of the Prophet”; he became the Prophet, the father of all other “Sons of Prophet”.

2. But he had to Cross Over Jordan again; he has to Cross Over to the other side of Jordan.

A Second (2nd) Cross Over was necessary for him to begin to fulfill his Destiny.

Because it was after he Crossed Over again that:

A. It became clear to all his colleagues – This Man may be our classmate but he is no longer in our Class.

… They realised that!

The Bible said that they came to bow down to him.

In the Name that is above every other names; as you enter Year 2021, even your colleagues will come to bow down before you – Amen.

B. But you see that; it is in Crossing Over to the other side of Jordan that Elisha really began his own Ministry that he entered into his own Destiny.

As far as Elijah was concerned; Elijah finished and went to Heaven – Flew.

But then all of a sudden when Elisha Cross Over; the Second Time; he became a Blessing.

The Purpose of God for his creation began to manifest.

For example:

I. In 2 Kings 2: 19-22; as soon as he had his Second (2nd) Cross Over; he became someone who could Change curses to Blessings, he became a Vessel unto Honour.

I’m believing God for many of you listening to me now or reading now on the Label of DMC; that before the End of Year 2021; singlehandedly you will have built a Church in your Village – Amen.

II. It was as he Cross Over the Second (2nd) time, as we read in 2 Kings 2: 23-24 that he began to silent Mockers.

… Those who are mocking him, calling him “Bald Headed Old Man”; they never mocked him again as he silent them forever.

I don’t know what is it that is still causing People to ask: Where is your God? But in the New Year 2021; as the Lord lives, every mocker will be silent – Amen.

III. It was after his Second (2nd) Cross Over that he became Helper to the Poor.

In 2 Kings 4: 1-7; you know the Story.

The “Destitute Widow” of one of the Sons of the Prophet cried to him (Elisha) – I’m in trouble; they are about to sell my children to bondage because I couldn’t Pay my debt.

Elisha did not Pray, he merely spoke the Word.

Because of that Second (2nd) Cross Over, he was able to decree “Total Liberation” from Poverty to that Widow.

I don’t know how God is going to do it; but in the Year that is about to come, the Almighty God is going to use you to Put an end to Poverty in the lives of many – Amen.

And when we are talking of Poverty; we are not just talking about Physical Poverty or Material Poverty – Physical Poverty is sickness and disease.

I’m trusting God for you that: Anyone sick near you at all will be healed before the first (1st) week of Year 2021 – Amen.

But there is also Spiritual Poverty – There is no one as Poor as someone who hasn’t got Christ.

Colossians 1:27 made it clear: Christ in you; the Hope of Glory.

Do you know the meaning of that?

If Christ is not in you; your Hope is Shame!

So, the Almighty is going to use you Mightily in the Coming Year to win Souls, to bring Christ into the lives of many – Amen.

IV. It was after the Second (2nd) Cross Over that Elisha was able to make those who are already Great to become “Even Greater”.

In 2 Kings 4: 8-17; we read about “The Great Woman of Shunen” – Great Wealth, Great in Connections, Great in Influence but destitute when it comes to the “Fruit of the Womb”.

It was this same Elisha who had the Second (2nd) Cross Over that made this Great Woman to become Greater – That which money cannot buy, the Almighty God made available.

In the Coming Year 2021; the Almighty God will use you to make the Great, Greater – So that even those who may appear Great but has “Secret Sorrows”; because of your influence, their Joy will become Full – Amen.

V. It was after the Second (2nd) Cross Over that he was able to end the reproach in the Life of Naaman – 2 Kings 5: 1-14.

There are many People around you in your Place of work, in your Street, in your towns, in your Villages who are considered Great and yet they had lots of Problem under their beautiful dresses, riding in their big cars with their big Problems.

Like somebody said sometimes ago: The reason certain “Big People” go from Air condition house into air condition cars, into air condition offices is because fire is burning under their clothes.

But in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; in the Coming Year; God will help you to put out such fires, by putting an end to these reproaches in the Life of these so called “Big Men” – Amen.

VI. It was after the Second (2nd) Cross Over that he was able to reverse the irreversible – 2 Kings 6: 1-7.

Elisha Prospered, his Ministry Prospered so mightily that the Accommodation where he was taking care of the Sons of the Prophet became too tight that the Sons of the Prophet came to him: Sir, we need a New Project; bigger Accomodations.

And he said: That’s fine, go ahead.

… You know the Story!

We want to go to Jordan to fetch wood so that we can build a “Bigger Place”.

He said: Fine.

They said: Come along with us!

He said: No Problem, I will go with you.

And you know the Story – As they were fetching wood, the Axe head fell into the river.

And when that Axe head fell into the river; it was supposed it be gone forever.

But he took a Piece of wood, toss it into the river – The wood that was supposed to float sank, located the iron (The iron head of the Axe); transferred the Anointing to it and the iron head that was supposed to be lost forever jumped to the surface and it was recovered.

1. Because of this Second (2nd) Cross Over; every opportunities you yourself thought that you have lost will be returned to you – Amen.
2. Even the cases that the doctors said that there is nothing more that we can do; at your Anointing, the irreversible will be reversed.
3. And some cases where they said that the door has been shut firmly – Against you, against your friends, against your Relatives; the door will be opened now – Amen.

Your case will be revisited – Amen.

VII. It was after the Second (2nd) Cross Over that he had the Power to lift the siege against Samaria – 2 Kings 7: 1-End.

You all know the areas where there are sieges in your Life, in the Life of your family, in your home, in your Place of work, in your Church, in your Ministry – As a result of this Second (2nd) Cross Over; the siege will be lifted (Amen).

So, I’m going to encourage you that as we enter into the New Year; you are going to cry to God for a “Double Cross Over” so that you can do far, far beyond what is Humanly Possible, so that the Coming Year will be Full of Miracles, Signs and Wonders for you – Amen.

Before I released you to Pray; let me give those of you who are yet to be saved an opportunity to Cross Over to the Side of the Lord.

ALTAR CALL

You know that He says in Matthew 11: 28-30 – Come unto Me all ye that Labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

Haven’t you suffered enough?

Why don’t you Cross Over to the Side of Jesus Christ at the beginning of this New Year and find Rest?

Do you want to keep on suffering? Do you want to keep on crawling when you can actually begin to Fly like others?

Why don’t you say bye bye to your Old Ways so that they can all will die with the Old Life, so that you can begin Life afresh?

Afterall, the Bible says: If any Man be in Christ; He is a New Creature; Old Things has Passed away, all Things has become New.

Cross Over to the Side of God – Move out of darkness into His Marvelous Light so that the real Purpose for your Life can begin to manifest.

So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ, wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC – If you will bow your head and cry unto Him. Asking Jesus Christ to save your Soul, to Forgive your sins and give you a Brand New Beginning.

I will be willing to join my Faith with yours and Pray for you.

You can have the Greatest of all Cross Over as you are translated from the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His Marvelous Light.

So, if you will bow your head now; I will Pray for you, as you cry to God yourself: Asking God for Mercy, asking God to save your Soul, asking Him to forgive you your sins – Promising Him that you will serve Him for the rest of your Life.

Talk to God for about a minute and I will join my Faith with yours so that everything in your Life will become New.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God; I want to bless Your Name for Your Words.

I want to Thank You especially for all those who are deciding for You now even as they are entering into a New Year – Saying: Yes, we want to Cross Over to the Side of the Lord Jesus Christ, we want to say bye bye to the devil, we want to say bye bye to the ways of sin.

Please, receive them Oh Lord, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins.

Please Lord, receive them into the Family of God, write their names into the Book of Life and let them Cross Over from darkness to Light.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

I want to say: “Happy New Year” to you all.

And I Pray that this New Year will be Full of Joy, Miracles, Signs and Wonders, Great Testimonies for you in Jesus Name – Amen.

Now, I want you to take note of these Special Prayer Points because I would want you to spend Quality Time in Praying them:

SPECIAL PRAYER POINTS FOR CROSS OVER TO YEAR 2021

1. I will want you to Thank the Almighty God for Preserving you through the Last Year 2020.

It is by His Grace that you are still alive.

Oh, Yes it is by His Mercy that you are not consumed.

… Praise Him and Thank Him from the bottom of your heart.

Spend Quality Time Thanking Him!

2. Cry unto Him for an Extension of His Mercy to you, to your Family, to your Nation and to His Church.

Pray Lord: Extend this Mercy that kept me alive in Year 2020, extend it Lord to Year 2021.

Extend it not alone to me but to my family, to my Nation and to Your Church.

3. Then you cry unto Him: Lord Please give me a “Double Cross Over” into this New Year with all the Privileges that we just learnt about tonight.
4. Cry unto Him and say: Father, help me to Fly Higher this Year – Higher, Higher everyday.

… Let me Fly Higher this Year!

5. Cry to Him and say: Father draw me closer to Yourself this Year.

Let me love You more, let me know You better and let me serve you much better than ever before.

6. Father, make me a Greater Blessings to others this Year – A Blessing to the Poor; a Blessing to the Rich, a Blessing to the Small, a Blessing to the Great.

… Make me a Greater Blessings to others.

7. Father, help me to Put You and Your Kingdom first in all that I do this Year.
8. Pray for your Spiritual Leaders and Please Pray for me also (Pastor E.A Adeboye).

For Greater Anointing, Greater Revelations and Greater Utterance.

Pray that God will give Open Doors to all His Servants.

9. Pray your own Individual Prayers and make them as many as you want.

Please spend Quality Time with God.

This is a New Year; you shouldn’t be in a hurry.

Talk to God; there is no better time like this First (1st) Day of the Year to really really speak to God about your Future.

I’m going to Pray with you now and then it will be you and God – To talk to God!

CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God; I want to bless Your Holy Name.

I want to Thank You from the bottom of my heart for bringing us into the New Year.

Thank You for Preserving us from sickness, from disease, from Motor accident, from Armed Bandits, from Terrorist – Thank You for Preservation.

Lord, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

I’m committing Your children into Your Hands: They are about to go before You now in Prayers; Father every Prayers that they Pray tonight, answer them by fire.

Lord God Almighty; I Pray that everyone of them will be Full of Testimonies even before next Sunday (3rd of January, 2021) in Jesus Name.

Lord, give them the Grace like never before to Pray.

Don’t let them be lazy this Year 2021 – Give them the Grace, the Strength, the Auction, the Ability to cry unto You so that they can receive more from You.

Please Lord, have Mercy on all of us.

And if you return this Year Father; Please don’t leave us behind.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
