OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God; the Alpha and the Omega; the Beginning and the Ending – We bless Your Name for everything that You have done for us since the beginning of the Year.

We Thank You for taking us through the First (1st) Phase of our Fasting; we give You all the Glory and Honour that You are with us during the Period of the Thanksgiving and we know that You will be with us for the rest of the Journey.

So, Father Please accept our Thanks in Jesus’ Name.

Lord even as we are going into Your Words; we Pray that the Power in Your Words will bring Healings to the sick and comfort to the sorrowful.

And Lord bless us as we gathered before You from time to time to seek Your Face; Please have Mercy on us.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

We are going on to: GOING HIGHER – Part 8 and our Bible Text is going to be taking from 1 Kings 17: 2-6.

2 And the Word of the LORD came unto him (That is unto Elijah), saying,

3 Get thee hence, and turn thee Eastward, and hide thyself by the Brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the Brook; and I have commanded the Ravens to feed thee there.

5 So he went and did according unto the Word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the Brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

6 And the Ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the Brook.

There are certain Lessons to be learnt from Elijah sorjourn at Cherith – Many of them!

We will divide them into Sections and cover as many of them that we can this Sunday, the following Sunday and if God wants us to even go deeper still; we might continue for quite a while considering the Lessons to be learnt from Cherith.

The First (1st) one that we want to talk about today is that: GOD IS UNLIMITED!

… Our God is Unlimited!

You will remember that when we started this Study; we choose Elijah to study because we are talking about Somebody who was nothing and ended up becoming Somebody “Very Great” – Somebody who ended up Flying all the way to Heaven.

And if you too are to Fly Higher; you must never limit the Almighty God.

Psalms 48:1 warns us of the danger of limiting the Holy One of Israel.

… Never limit God because God is Unlimited!

We will only look at the fact that God is Unlimited in Resources and the fact that He is Unlimited in Methodology for today.

We will leave the rest about the Limitlessness of God well if God wants us to talk more about that we will do that later on because He is Unlimited in Power; He is Unlimited by Age (He never grows Old); He is Unlimited by Lifespan (He never dies) – As a matter of fact, He says that my Name is: I am that I am and there is no question of my getting older or weaker or becoming an Ex-Champion as we learnt during the Friday of the Holy Ghost Service that just Passed (February 2021 HGS).

… Don’t limit the Holy One of Israel!

1. Now today, we want to look at the fact that God is Unlimited in Resources.

Psalms 24:1 says: The Earth is the Lord and the Fullness thereof.

Now, you want to say: Why are you talking about God being Unlimited in Resources? And how many have you found who could say: I will feed my Servant through a Bird?

Who is that Person that you know that will tell you when he is employing you – I am so Mighty, I am so Rich, your Salary will be delivered by birds?

… Only God is Unlimited in Resources.

The Earth is the Lord and the Fullness thereof – That one alone tells you how Mighty our God is in Resources.

Because inside the Earth; we have Water.

Oh, you will say but water comes from rain that falls from Heaven.

Check your Scriptures: In Genesis 2: 4-6; the Bible tells us that ever before rain fell; the Earth was bringing forth water to water the whole land, to supply all the Plants with the water they needed.

Inside the Earth, you find the Crude Oil, inside the Earth you find the Iron for building houses, cements et cetera et cetera.

And God is Unlimited Financially according to Haggai 2:8.

It says: Silver is Mine and Gold is Mine.

If you see any Man who thinks he is rich; hey they got the money from God though some of them got their own from the devil but the devil didn’t create anything.

I. He is Unlimited Financially and the entire Animal World are under His Control.

In Psalms 50: 9-11; He says: The fowl of the Air, the cattles upon a Thousand Hills, all the wild animals are His.

That is why He could tell Ravens – Hey, I want to send you on an errand on a daily basis – Twice a day, you are to take bread and meat to my Servant at this Particular Address.

When you read Numbers 11: 31-32; when the children of Israel wanted meat in the wilderness. The Almighty God told the wind to blow and carry Quails from every corners of the Earth and bring the Quails directly to the Camp of the children of Israel.

The Bible says that the Quails were so many – They were 2 Cubics High on the surface of the Earth.

So many of them, the wind blew them so violently that by the time they got to the Camp; they fell there – Probably they just fainted because the children of Israel didn’t have to Pursue them to Pick them up.

… God controls the Animal Kingdom – He controls the Birds.

I still remember when we first came to the Camp here and some little, little birds came by their thousands – Invaded the Camp.

They will come, settle on a tree and within twenty four (24) hours there will be no Green Leaves left on the tree.

And then they were making so much noise; they were spoiling the Place with their excreta and the more you tried to kill them; because some People brought some “Dane Guns” and began to shoot at them.

… The more they shoot, they more they multiplied. And there was nothing else that I could do.

So, I cried to the Almighty God and all of a sudden; out of no where, Mighty Eagles came by the hundreds and within two (2) days they finished all these noisy Pests and then the Eagles disappeared.

If you need Help from God and He has to send them through a Bird to you; may He do it today in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

He controls the Fish in the River.

Whether it is the one that that you Need – In Matthew 17: 24-27; you have to know that it must be God who will tell a fish to swallow a coin – Fish don’t eat Metals.

It has to be God who will tell a Fish to be the first one to be caught in a hook – A Particular fish with coin in it’s mouth under the control of the Almighty God.

Or if you read Luke 5: 1-7 – When Jesus Christ Preached in the boat of Peter who fished All Night and caught nothing. And finally Jesus Christ told him to throw his Net; the Bible says that he threw just one Net and caught so much fish that two (2) boats were sinking.

… The Almighty God can tell a fish to jump into your Net!

He Controls Lions.

In Daniel 6: 1-end; the Bible tells us that when they threw Daniel into the den of Lions; suddenly the Lions became like little Puppy dogs.

And throughout the night; Daniel and the Lions were Playmates because God shut their mouths.

By the following morning; after Daniel has been Pulled out of the den; God opened their mouth and gave them Plenty of food to eat.

He Controls even Donkeys.

Numbers 22: 21-35; He made an Ass to speak to a Prophet who was going to curse the children of Israel. He caused an animal to speak with the voice of a Man.

We will never forget the incident that happened when I was Young and my sister got married and went to another farm to stay with her husband.

And when I asked her: What is the Way to your farm?

She says: Oh, once you Cross the river here; turn right here, turn left here and then you will be at our farm.

And I just wanted to see my Sister – I didn’t tell anybody at home that I was going there. She told me that the Place wasn’t far.

… So, I was going to give her a Surprise.

And so I crossed the River – Turn right, turn left and there was no farm anywhere. I found myself helplessly lost in the Jungle.

I was Young; I didn’t know how to Pray; I didn’t know what to do but all of a sudden I looked around and I saw a little white dog, little Puppy and the dog was wringing his tail as if it says follow me.

And I followed the little dog and the little dog led me to my sister’s farm.

When they saw me; they were surprised – How did you find your Way?

I saw this little white dog which led me here – They looked and there was no dog.

The Almighty God can turn an Angel to a dog when there is Need to do so!

I am Praying for someone here today or those reading now on the Label of DMC: Whatever Miracle(s) God has Performed for you in Particular; may it be done in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

II. Now, apart from the fact that God controls the Animal Kingdom; Oh He controls every Human Being.

Oh, don’t mind those who says that: There is no God or we don’t like God – He controls them all.

He controls the entire Human Race and He can make them available in every of your ways to Greater Heights.

He can use the Poor – 1 Kings 17: 8-16.

He used a Widow who has just one Meal left to feed His Prophet for approximately two and half Years.

He can use the Rich – 2 Kings 4: 8-17.

He used the Great Woman of Shunen to build a house for Prophet Elisha.

In 2 Kings 5: 1-14; He used an Unknown Househelp to tell Naaman – There is a Man in my Country who can cure you of your Leprosy.

And when Naaman came to Elisha and instead of Elisha coming out to speak with him or to Pray for him; he sent his Servant: Go and tell him to go and wash in River Jordan and be clean.

And he was going away in anger – It was an “Ordinary Servant” who drew near to the General and said: General, Permission to speak Please!

And he says: Yes, Permission granted. What is it?

If the Man of God has asked you to do something Great; won’t you have done it?

Now, all he asked you to do is: Wash and be Clean.

God used two “Unknown People” whose names were not mentioned – The Maid (Housemaid) and the Servant to bring Healings to Naaman.

… God can use your Househelp to Help you!

And He can use the High and the Mighty – Genesis 41: 1-44.

It was Pharaoh who had a dream (Two (2) dreams in one Night). At the end of the day; Joseph got to the throne through the dreams.

And I want to decree that: That Fellow who is High and Mighty; tonight he will have a dream that will frightened him so much that He will sent for you – Amen!

He controls Prophets.

He can use Prophets to help you on your Way.

In 1 Samuel 10: 1-11; it was Samuel that God used to anoint Saul as King over Israel.

Saul was just a farmer’s boy but God used a Prophet to move a farmer’s boy to the Throne.

In 1 Samuel 16: 1-16; it was the same Samuel that God used to bring a Shepherd Boy to the Throne.

… And our God is Unchangeable – The same One who had used “True Prophets” in the Past to Promote People to Higher Heights is still on the Throne.

And I’m not claiming to be a Prophet – I have told you that I’m just a Pastor who hears from God once a while.

But I am His Representative to you and so i can decree in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ that from now on; you will be Going Higher – Amen!

III. He controls Angels.

… Not only the Animals World, not only Human Beings all over including Kings; He controls Prophets, He controls Angels.

In 1 Kings 19: 4-8; at a time when Elijah was at the lowest Ebb and he was asking God that the Almighty God will just kill him so that he can just go.

It was an Angel that brought him food twice in quick successions so that he can continue the Journey.

In Acts 5: 14-25; the Bible tells us that when Peter and John were Put in Prison; and the enemies thought that they are going to stop their Ministries even before they started – It was an Angel that came that brought them out of the Prison so that the very Ministry that they thought they are going to terminate kept on blossoming.

But not only does God controls Angels; He controls even demons.

And He can use demons to help you move Higher!

If you don’t believe me; check what was written in 1 Samuel 16: 14-23.

When the Spirit of God departed from King Saul; the Bible says an Evil Spirit from the Lord troubled him.

It was when the Servant of the King discovered that he was behaving irrationally that somebody said: Sir, you need a Musician; somebody who can Play well to calm you down.

And he said: Find me such a Man and somebody said we already know a Man like that.

Because even after David was anointed to be King; he went back to the field.

But through the activities of a demon; he was brought into the Palace.

God knew that he was going to be King and you don’t learn “Royal Ways” in the bush.

So, God used a demon to bring the boy from the bush into the Palace to come and learn in Preparation for where he was going.

I don’t know how far God will take you; but this “Unlimited God” will use all the Resources at His disposal to take you Higher in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

2. Now very quickly: He is also very Unlimited in Methodology.

What kind of Method is this?

Asking your Servant to go and hide when You have all the Powers in the world to Protect him against the King.

Because in the Scriptures; we know that God sent an Angel on one occasion and that Angel wiped out about one hundred and eighty thousand (180,000) Soldiers.

Why not give Your Servant just one (1) Bodyguard as an Angel? Why do you ask him to go and hide?

Well we will discovered some other reasons later on.

But you need to know that God moves in Mysterious Ways His Wonders to Perform!

He may not use the same Method twice.

In Genesis 2:7; when He wants to form Adam – He bent down, took some mud, made it in the shape of a Man; breathe into his nostrils the breadth of Life.

… That was one Method!

But when He was going to form Eve; another Human Being in Genesis 2: 18-23 – He Performed a “Surgical Operation” on Adam.

… He brought out of a Man, a Woman!

He could bring something New out of the Old!

His Methods of doing the same thing may vary.

Let me give you other examples – There was a time He linked His Power to the hair on the head of a Man – Samson in Judges 16: 6-21.

Samson lost his Power when his hairs were cut.

In 2 Kings 1: 1-8 – When the King was sick and he sent to another Nation to enquire from their idols whether he was going to be well.

And Elijah met the Servant on the way and said: Go and tell your Master that he will die.

And the King says: Hey, how come you have returned so quickly.

We met a Man who said: Don’t bother to go; go and tell your King that he is going to die.

He said: What kind of Man?

He said that he was a “Hairy Man”.

And the King said: Ha, that must be Elijah.

Elijah was hairy; Samson has Plenty hairs on his head that has never been cut off before.

… Hair associated with Power!

But in 2 Kings 2: 19-24 – The Man who was Probably the Most Powerful of the Prophets of the Old Testament; Elisha was “Bald Headed”.

He has lost all the hairs on his head before the Power came on him.

God does not have to use the same Method twice!

So, if you think that because you have Plenty of hairs that means you are a Powerful Man; the Man who is “Bald Headed” might even be twice as Powerful because God’s Methodology is Unlimited.

I will give just one more example and then we will Pray.

God can Perform the same Miracles in different ways.

For example: I will you about three (3) Blind Men that He opened their eyes and He didn’t use the same Method twice.

I. In John 9: 1-7 – He saw a Man born blind; He spit on the Ground, made some mud out of it, anointed his eyes and told him to go and wash.

He washed, he came back seeing.

II. In Mark 8: 22-26 – They brought a Blind Man to Him. He spat on his eyes and touched the eyes.

And asked the Man: What can you see?

I see Men like trees.

He touched the eyes again.

Double touch and the Man began to see clearly.

III. In Mark 10: 46-52 – He barely spoke: Bartimeaus what do you say you want?

I want to receive my sight.

He says: Receive it!

He didn’t touch him once, He didn’t anoint his eyes with mud – He just spoke

… Same Miracles, three (3) different Methods!

Meaning what?

I don’t care what Miracles He is going to use but in the Name that is above every other names; God will give you your Miracles today – Amen.

Let me Conclude: God is Unlimited but you are Limited!

In John 15:5; the Bible made it clear: You are seriously Limited – Without Him, you can do Nothing!

Whether you believed it or not; without Him, you can’t even breathe; without Him, you can’t Sleep.

He gives His Beloveth Sleep. He gives you everyday your daily bread.

… You are seriously Limited!

So, why don’t you link up with the One who is Unlimited so that His Unlimitedness can overshadow your own Limits.

The Bible says in Philipians 4:13 – I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.

You want to go Higher, link up with the God who is Unlimited in Resources, who is Unlimited in Methodology and you will reach your Goal!

ALTAR CALL

So, if you are listening to me now or reading now on the Label of DMC and you are a Christian but you have forgotten “The Act of Prayers” – You think that you can do ALL things on your own!

You are a Preacher, you believed that you can Preach now without Praying.

You are a Choir, you believed that you can sing without God?

… Change your Minds!

And of course, if you have not even given your Life to Jesus Christ; you are wasting your Life. Why don’t you link up with the One who is Unlimited.

Surrender to Him now, cry unto Him and ask Him to save your Soul and I will join you in Prayers.

He will grant your request and from now on; the ability to do ALL things will be made available to you.

Shall we Pray!

So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ; wherever you are – Cry unto Him and you say: Lord have Mercy on me, save my Soul and I will serve you for the rest of my Life.

I have realised that I am Limited but you are not – Please, Lord God Almighty save my Soul so that you can take over my Life from now and I know with Your Help; I will be able to reach Great Heights – Amen.

Let us Pray!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God; I want to bless Your Holy Name for Your Words.

I want to Thank You because You are Unlimited – You are Unlimited in Resources, You are Unlimited in Power, You are Unlimited by Age, You are Unlimited by Time and You are Unlimited in Methodology.

I bless Your Holy Name.

As for all those who has decided to surrender their lives to you today; Father Please receive them, have Mercy on them, save their Souls.

Since You are not Limited by Space; wherever they are now; Please Lord touch them and write their names in the Book of Life.

Please from now on, whenever they cry unto You; answer them by Fire.

As for all Your Children who has already surrendered to You, who will now begin to appreciate the fact that they need to Pray more than ever before because we need You to Succeed.

Please Lord; as they cry unto You; answer them by Fire and move them to Greater Heights.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
