OPENING PRAYER

Father we love You – We love You because You are the Almighty; we love You because You are Higher than the highest; You are Greater than the greatest, You are Stronger than the strongest; You are Wiser than the wisest.

Oh, there is no one like You – We are Proud of You. It is a Pleasure being called Your Children.

Please, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

We are here again this today Lord; in Your Own Miraculous Way visit us, bless us, take us Higher.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise ye the Lord – Hallelujah!

Now, why don’t you wave to two (2) or three (3) People and say: Good Morning; God Bless You!

Well, we will continue with our Series: “GOING HIGHER” and we will now move on to Part 18.

Our Bible Text this time will be: 1 Kings 18:1:

And it came to Pass after many days, that the Word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the Earth.

There are at least two (2) ways that we could look at this Verse:

1. Prophetic
2. The Deep Level

This Sunday, we will look at the Prophetic and by the Grace of God, we will come back here and take a look at the “Deeper Level” in this Particular Passage.

… Go, shew thyself unto Ahab!

1. God is saying to Elijah – “NO MORE HIDING”.

And I want to Prophesy to somebody – In the Name that is above every other names; from today onwards you will no longer be hidden – Amen.

You see the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 that God has a Time Table for everything.

And so in Psalms 102:13; the Bible says: Thou will arise and have Mercy on Zion because the time to favour her, yea the Set Time has come.

The Almighty God has a Time Table concerning your Life – There is a time for hiding but He says from now on, no more Hiding – Amen!

In Ecclesiastes 3:11; the Bible tells us that God has made everything beautiful in His Time.

With confidence I can Prophesy to someone that from now on, everything about you will be Beautiful – Amen.

I mean when you read Exodus 3: 1-15; Moses had been a fugitive for forty (40) Years – Hiding; then the Set Time came and God said: Hey, you have been running from Pharaoh; now go and show yourself to Pharaoh.

When you read Judges 6: 1-16; you will discovered that Gideon was hiding from the enemies when God appeared to him and said: Gideon, no more hiding.

One could almost say that the Subtitle for this Particular Passage will be: No More Hiding!

Why is God saying to Elijah: No More Hiding?

Oh, Luke 19: 12-26; the Bible says that when you have been Faithful in little; then God will give you Authority over much.

When God is Promoting you; He will start at a small level – Give you little, little Assignments to do for Him to check your Faithfulness.

Go and Hide in Cherith – Yes Lord!

Now, go and stay with a Widow – Yes Lord.

Then the Fire came when the son of the Widow died and he went through it.

And God said: Alright now son; no more hiding.

You know in Isaiah 60:1; the Bible says: Arise, Shine; for your Light has come.

Oh, I rejoice with whosoever this Message is for – No More Hiding – Amen!

Several Years ago; some People came from Abroad; they saw the work that God was doing here – And that was still years ago.

And they said: How come we never heard about what is going on here? That the People Abroad with less than ten Percent (10%) of what God is doing here; their noise won’t let the People rest and you have kept quiet about what is going on here.

I told them: My father told me when I was Young – When you are lightning a flame, you shield it with your hands so that the wind won’t blow it out.

When the flame grows, it is the flame that will drive away your hands and there will be no more hiding.

In the Name that is above every other names: Your Light now will begin to Shine – Amen.

2. Not only did He say: No more hiding – He said: No more running from the enemies.

You have been hiding, you have been running from the enemies – Ahab, now go and meet him. Go and show yourself to him.

Now, this is serious – God I am sure that You know what You are saying because this fellow has been looking for me to kill me. That is why I have been running from Cherith to Zarephath.

… God said: No more Running!

I have told you according to Ephesians 6: 10-18 – There is no Armour for your back. God has an Armour for your Chest, an Armour for your Head, an Armour for your Belly, for your Legs, for your Feet but there is no Armour for your back.

Why? – Because you are not meant to run from the enemies.

And according to James 4:7; the Bible says that if only you will submit yourself to God; you resist the devil and he will flee from you.

… No more running from the enemies.

In 1 Peter 5: 8-9; the Bible says: You are to resist the devil steadfastly.

When you read 1 Samuel 17: 34-51; David didn’t run from the Lion, he didn’t run from the Bear. As a matter of fact, when he was going to meet Goliath; the Bible said that he ran to battle. He ran towards the enemies and not away from the enemies.

Are you a Child of God? – Stop Running! Because Greatwr is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

And it is clearly written: If God be for us, who can be against us?

It is clearly written: We are more than conqueror through Him that loves us.

Oh, God is backing you up and some enemies want to stand in your way.

The Bible says: Let God arise and His enemies will scatter.

Some of you know my Testimony: There was this misunderstanding between my daddy and his Peers in the family’s compound. And then they told because he said he wasn’t going to do what they asked him to do because of me.

I was then in Grammar School, in the Final Year.

And he said: Let my son finish his Secondary School and I will do what you say.

And they told him: We will see how old your son will get before he dies.

And he knew what that one meant – It means that I was to die soon.

He came home, told my mum what happened in the Meeting and my mother took me that night – I mean that very night and we fled.

For thirteen (13) Years; I was fleeing. And then I met Jesus Christ. He saved my Soul and suddenly I knew: No more Running.

From that time till now, I didn’t run from the enemies again.

I decree from this Hour onwards that when the enemies see you coming; they will run – Amen.

3. And then God added something. He said: I will send Rain!

… I like that – That is very beautiful! No more hiding, no more running and now Rain is coming.

In Joel 2:23; the Almighty God Promised us rain – The Latter rain and the Former rain. He says that He can bring both of them the same time.

You know what; I think based on that alone, I can confidently Prophesy that: For someone in Particular; an “Overwhelming Breakthrough” will come this Month – Amen.

Now, when He said that I will send Rain – That rain could be:

A. Material (Divine Provision).

Because when you read Psalms 78: 24-27; the Bible says that God can rain down Manna from Heaven. He rained out flesh as dust.

… It could be Divine Provision coming as Rain!

B. When you read Proverbs 16:15 – That Rain that God says is coming could be Divine Favour.

And if God should decide to rain Favour; then you got it made.

Because I’m sure you have learnt in the Past that we have talked about Favour.

Favour enables you to enjoy Blessings without Labouring.

Because when we try to compared two (2) People:

I. Jacob – He laboured for fourteen (14) Years before he could marry the girl he loved.

II. In the case of Isaac, he just went for a stroll and came home with a wife.

… That is the difference between Labour and Favour.

Isaac didn’t even know that his father had made a Special Arrangement – He just went out on a stroll and saw somebody coming. They said that is your wife and he said: Is that so?

Whereas, somebody struggled for fourteen (14) Years.

I Pray for everyone of you my children: God will rain Favour on you – Amen!

C. The rain that is coming could be for Fruitfulness or Satisfaction.

You said how come?

Amos 4: 7-8 says: God can rain on one City and leave another City dry.

The City He rained upon will be Fruitful while the City He didn’t rain upon would dry up.

And then those who couldn’t get the rain would then be going to those who got the rain for fruits, for foods, for water to drink.

When God says that I will send the rain; He could be saying: There will be Abundance of Fruitfulness and I will make you satisfy.

You know that God can bless you until you say to God: Please Lord, this is enough. I don’t want anymore – Thank You.

I mean I told you the Story of a Man who couldn’t marry until he was well over fifty (50) Years old.

And finally, he gave his Life after he got married because People are saying that he was impotent.

The first time his wife will give birth, it was a set of twins. Two (2) Years later, another set of twins.

I had to say to him – Gently oooo.

That kind of Rain of Blessings, Showers of Blessings that will cause you to say: God Thank You, I am satisfied; may it come upon you this Month in Jesus Name – Amen.

D. That rain could be Divine Visitation.

The Book of Hosea 6:3 says: God could come as rain to come and Pay you a visit.

And you know yourself that if God Pays you a visit, definitely what else can you ever need?

Because each time that God Pays someone a visit; it will be to give that Person a Blank Cheque!

He is going to say: Hey, I have come to Pay you a visit – What do you want?

And when God asks you what do you want; you should know that you got it made.

E. That Rain could be a Sign of Hope Rising.

In Job 14: 7-9; the Bible says: Even if you cut down a tree – Dried and anybody looking at it will think that there is no Hope; but it says that if the Rain can just fall on that tree, then it will begin to grow again.

That Rain means definitely that an End to Dryness!

When rain falls, dryness is over.

And God said that: “I will” send Rain – Not that “I may” send Rain.

That is why I said that this Passage (1 Kings 18:1) is a serious Prophetic one.

He is saying at least to us in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ: In The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), God will send Rain – Amen.

And when God uses the word “I will”; you mean that one is settled – There is no doubt about that.

He is not going to Change His Mind – That is what He means by saying: “I will”.

Which is why I’m going to encourage you today to Pray like you have never done before.

You see because when you read Jeremiah 33:3; when He said: Call on Me.

He used the word again: “Will” – “I will” answer you not “I may”. The same “Will” that He used when He said “I will send Rain” is the same “Will” that He used when He said “I will answer you”.

So, I am going to end now so that you can have enough time to really call on Him for Rain.

Whatever kind of Rain that you want – Material, Physical, Marital, Mental, Spiritual – Ask Him for Rain and He will send Rain.

So, I don’t think that I really need to beg those of you who have not surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ to do so.

You see because one of the Passages that I mentioned earlier on – God can send Rain could on one Part and leave the other Part dry.

The Elders in Africa, they have a Saying: Rain can beat one Part of a tree and leave the other side dry.

Do you know what that one means?

There could be two (2) children of the same mother; there could be set of twins – God can Rain on one and leave the other dry.

… What is going to make the difference? – It is a question of who belongs to Him and who does not!

ALTAR CALL

So, if you want to be the one whom the Rain will fall and you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ; Please, do so now because God is about to send the Rain.

If you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ; if you are in a Church Settings; run to the Altar. If you are at home; cry unto God all the same.

Ask Jesus Christ to save your Soul and let His Blood wash away your sin.

And those of us who are already Children of the Living God; Please intercede for those who are just giving their lives to Jesus Christ wherever they may be.

Ask that the One who saved your Soul will save their own Souls also so that the Blood of Jesus Christ can wipe away their sins and when the Rain begins to fall, they will not be left out.

Shall we Pray!

Call on the Lord for few minutes – Call Him for Salvation, Call on Him for Restoration if you have Backsliden.

It is only your sin that can hinder you from Partaking of those Showers of Blessings that the Almighty is about to release upon His Own.

… Call on Him for Salvation, for Restoration.

Brethren, if only it is for three (3) Seconds more; intercede for everyone surrendering his or her Life to Jesus Christ now.

And say: Lord, Please receive them, save their Souls, have Mercy Oh Lord.

Thank You my Father.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You once again for Your Words.

Thank You because You have spoken and once You speak, it is done.

You said that those who will come unto You, You will no wise cast out. All those who has come to You, Please receive them, have Mercy on them, cleanse them in Your Blood, save their Souls Lord and write their names in the Book of Life.

As many that are Backsliders, that are returning to You today; Please Lord restore them to Fellowship so that when the Rain is falling, they will not be left out.

Please Lord God Almighty, I’m Standing in the Gap for all Your Children today; as they cry out unto You for Showers of Blessings; Pour it upon us Abundantly. Let the Rain fall and let Your Name be Glorified.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Well, those of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ – Congratulations, I rejoice with you.

The Almighty God who said that if you come to Him, He won’t cast you out. He will not fail in His Promise.

So, if you will contact me, by sending me your names, your address and your Prayer Request, I Promise that I will be Praying for you.

And I will advice that you look for a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) near you – You will find one I’m sure within few minutes distance.

Talk to the Pastor there – Tell him that you gave your Life to Jesus Christ and you want to know what to do next and they will tell you.

God Bless You – Amen.

And for the rest of us; I want to encourage you to spend “Quality Time” today crying the God – Father, send us Rain. Send Your Rain upon me, send Your Rain upon my Family, send Your upon all my Projects, send Your Rain upon my Church, send Your Rain Physical, Mental Spiritual. Pour Fresh Oil on me from Heaven and I will Glorify Your Name forever!

… And He will answer your Prayers in Jesus Name – Amen.
