GENERAL PRAYER
- Let us begin to worship the Most High God – He is the Only God that has the Power over every other gods – That is our God!
We are made for His Pleasure, we have come to meet with Him in this Convention – We have not come to meet Man but with the Most High God.
Let’s Praise Him as He deserves all the Glory – Worship Him with all your Mind, with all your Heart and with all your Soul. Let Him hear your voice, tell Him what He means to you – He is the Most High, He is Greater than the greatest, Glorious in Holiness, Fearful in Praises, Always doing Wonders.
The God – That is God of our Salvation, our Healer, our Provider, our Sustainer. Let’s worship Him.
Who is He to you? – He is More Than Enough, He is the Lord of Abundance. In Him we live, in Him we move, in Him we have all our Beings. He has no comparison – From Everlasting to Everlasting He is God, He Changeth not.
Thank You Father.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
OPENING PRAYER
Our Father and our God – The Lover of our Souls, the Lord of The Church; we worship You, we bow our heads before You, we lift You High, we Magnify Your Name for whom You are: Our Creator, our Sustainer, our Father, our King, our Maker. There is no one like You in our lives – You are for us 24 Hours of the Day and You have Promised that You will not leave us, You will not forsake us.
We are grateful to belong to You – That we are made in Your Likeness and in Your Image is enough for us to celebrate and to celebrate You in our lives.
You are a Wonderful Daddy – Be thou exalted in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Thank You for the Past Years of the Convention, Thank You for this Year’s Convention (The 25th Americas’ Convention 2021), Thank You because You did not allow anything to block our ways.
We are grateful to You Jehovah that You made everything beautiful in Your own Time; that we are all here again to worship our God – Father, Thank You in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Father Lord, this is another Session before You today; we ask that You come down in Your Power, You will come down in Your Might and bless all of us Your Hand-Made.
That in this Meeting (or as you read on the Label of DMC); our New Beginning will start instantly. We will hear Your Word and we shall hearken diligently and it will do us Good.
And by the time we get home; we will be basking in New Beginning of Joy, of Peace, of Healing, of Breakthrough, of Greater Works in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
So, shall it be. Blessed be Your Name forever.

I want you to wave to your neighbours Right and Left and say: Welcome to a New Beginning!
I bring Greetings from Nigeria to all of you – The Women in Nigeria are basking in “The New Wave of Glory” and God has been Faithful to us in the Last Convention (RCCG Annual Convention 2021) as usual, which has just been concluded in about two (2) weeks ago. We have a very Powerful Meeting and Women of course are always in Greater Numbers in any Congregation.
And then we believed in Heaven, our Numbers shall be more than the Men – Amen.
I want to salute all our Leadership – Most especially the wife or our Chairman, Pastor (Mrs) Manita Fadel. We want to say: Thank You for your roles that you are Playing among the Women in North America, all the Leaders from Canada and all the Countries that are here with us.
And I also want to salute all our Leaders – The Women Regional Pastors, Provincial Pastors, Parish Pastors in all our midst.
And I Pray that the Lord that has called you will continue to work with you and your imparts will be made in the Church in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
At this Point in time, I want to salute all the Women of New Beginning – If you are here today (or reading now on the Label of DMC); shout Hallelujah (Hallelujah).
It is a Good Thing to be in the Presence of the Most High!
The Convention Theme should gladdens the heart of everyone who knows that he/she has a God who will never fails – And that is the God that we are serving.
And in this Meeting, we are going to be talking about: “THE CHRISTIAN WOMAN AND THE NEW BEGINNING”.
We will begin to define Terms – About “New” and “Beginning”.
I don’t think that I should be talking about “Christian Woman” – The “Christian Woman” is the Woman who has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour and she knows that she is going to Heaven.
When it comes to “New” – “New” is something that has never been in use before. It is recent, it is Original and it has not existed before!
And when we talk about “Beginning” – “Beginning” is the Starting Point.
And for God to give us this Theme this Year; I think we should jubilate over it because no matter what you have had in the Past, if you should have anything “New”; anybody who has a Good Thought should jubilate over anything that is “New”.
When you move from a “Old House” to a “New House”, you jubilate; when you have a “New Child”, you jubilate.
So, when God says that He is giving us a New Beginning; I think we need to rise up and jubilate with our Clap Offering!
… It is Exciting indeed!
In this Meeting, we are going to have three (3) Parts, talking in three (3) Sub Heading Topics.
And I’m going to have my Study Study using: “The Life of Ruth”.
And my Bible Text is in the Book of Isaiah 43: 7,19&22.
- Even every one that is called by my Name: for I have created him for my Glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
- Behold, I will do a New Thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a Way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
- But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
In all of these three (3) Passages that I have read; it is referring to “You”.
Brethren, our God is giving an Assurance again that He has formed us – The God of Heaven, the One who can discountenance our Existence; yet He is making a Profound Statement here.
In that Verse 7, it says: Even every one that is called by my Name: for I have created him for my Glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
… Brethren, this is a Profound Statement from God.
So, having known that God Himself is the One who has made us, He has Promised to give us a New Beginning and we are here for the Convention where He has gathered us from various Nations to come and worship Him and we should know that He has something for us.
So, there is no way we can treat our New Beginning without taking the Source from our Source – Our New Beginning comes from Him.
He has made a Profound Statement – The Theme for the Convention was chosen by Him; then we should go back to the “Drawing Board”.
PART 1: GOING BACK TO GOD IN OUR NEW BEGINNING.
Because the Bible tells us that our God is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever – He has not Changed!
- We have to make a “Strong Decision”.
That this New Beginning will stay with us, no more fooling around – It must stay!
And when we look at the Book of Ruth 1: 16-18; Ruth herself was the one who made the Pronouncement.
She told her Mother In-law – In my New Beginning, even though I am now a Widow but I believed that I have a New Beginning. I am going to “Stay Put” with your God – Your God will be my God, I have no where to go: No more going back.
The sins of the Past has Passed and now I have a New Beginning.
Let see what is written in Ruth 1: 16-18:
- And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy People shall be my People, and thy God my God:
17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
18 When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.
Brethren, this is a Convention of “Decision Making”.
Are you staying with God? Or you still want to fool around?
You still want to go and search for Power where there is no Power? You still want to go and meet with other gods? You still want to go and follow the decisions of other Men?
Why don’t you make the decision now as Ruth did – She made her decision.
She said that the God of Naomi will be her God!
The Bible already made the Statement – I will be your God and you will be my People.
And in our Bible Text, He said: You are my People that I have formed by myself. And He said He will make us.
No matter your Standard now, no matter where you are now – Either you are wretched or you are rich; there is still room for a “Greater You” from the Lord God Almighty.
And I Pray that you will not miss your Chance, you will make up your Mind that you will follow up this God till the end in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!
- We shall remain Obedient.
We don’t serve God and disobey Him. We shall remain Obedient unto Him because that is what God wants.
That is why He made and gave us the ten (10) Commandments.
And the Bible tells us even in Deuteronomy 28: 1-13 – A Beautiful Passage. All of us wants to read it but the rest of the Chapter, we don’t want to read it.
From Verse 1; it says: It shall come to Past if thou hearken diligently unto the Voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all His Commandments which I command thee this day; to observe and to obey all and to do all.
The Yoruba Bible Version makes it have a deeper meaning: Deuteronomi 28:1 – “Yio si ṣe, bi iwọ ba farabalẹ gbọ́ ohùn OLUWA Ọlọrun rẹ, lati ma kiyesi ati ṣe aṣẹ rẹ̀ gbogbo ti mo pa fun ọ li oni, njẹ OLUWA Ọlọrun rẹ yio gbé ọ ga jù gbogbo orilẹ-ède aiye lọ”.
“Farabalẹ” – All the gragra that we have been doing all about, when our God is close to us, we don’t need to be running up and down, you don’t need to call for any other Person or Help when you have your God.
In our New Beginning, this is the time to take Decisions and we begin this by hearkening diligently
After all; over the Years, we have been listening to the Television, the Social Media and all the things that you have been listening to – It has not added any Value to your Life.
You have been fighting like a Warrior in the house with your Husband, with your boss – All kind of things you have been doing in the Past and yet you have not gotten anything Good to report.
There is a New Beginning – “Farabalẹ” (Calm Down); hearken diligently (Gbọ́ ohùn OLUWA Ọlọrun rẹ).
God is speaking now to you – Hearken diligently to the Commandments.
So in our New Beginning; God wants us to obey His Commandments – All the Disobedience of the Past you must say bye bye to it!
And the Bible tells us that the Laws of the Lord are “Not Grievous” – But many of us thought that: How can God do this? How can God say this? It is not Possible.
… With God, all things are Possible.
If He says it, there must be an Action, there must be a Manifestation.
Brethren, hearken diligently, listen to God – In this Convention, before you go; God will speak to you (Amen); in this Forum (or even as you read on the Label of DMC), God will speak the you – Amen.
… Obedient is required in our New Beginning!
- We have to be Prayerful.
You have to consult the One who is going to guide you in the New Beginning. You don’t have to be going anywhere and you will be looking for another Mountain to go to.
You are in the Presence of the Living God in this Convention – The God of Hannah is in the House.
If He heard the voice of Hannah in the Shiloh of those days, He will answer your cry too – Amen.
Make sure that you have an Encounter with Him before you go.
The Bible tells us in Psalms 37:5 – It says we should commit our Ways unto the Lord, He will bring it to come to Past.
This is a New Beginning – Probably you will say: What about the one I have been doing in the Past?
Even though you have been committing it in the Past; maybe there is a Problem that is blocking the answer to you – In this Convention, that Problem will be removed (Amen) and you will receive “Express Answers” in the Name of Jesus (Amen).
- We should serve God without any Reservations with all your Heart.
There is a Good Example in the Old Testament about Papa Caleb.
Twelve (12) Spies were chosen to go and spy Jericho; only two (2) came back with Good Reports.
… And Caleb told them: Let us go up at once!
They said: No, they can’t conquer.
By the time they knew it, the 2nd Day they are now saying that we want to go now.
Ha, God said that it is too late.
… Those who said that it cannot be done; they were all killed!
I Prayed that in this Meeting in this Convention (or as you read on the Label of DMC); you will receive Life – Amen; Death will not be your Portion – Amen!
Anything that will bring Death to your home, to your Life in this Convention (or as you read on the Label of DMC); God will remove them in Jesus Name – Amen.
At the end of the day, Caleb was rewarded – When Joshua was stricken in Age and he has to divide the Land; Caleb said: Joshua my friend, don’t forget we went together and we came back to give Positive Reports. Where is my own Portion of the Land?
And the Lord Intervened and say: Give him his own Portion because he has served me Wholly.
Brethren, some of us are in this Convention – Even as we are seated here, our Mind are not totally here.
Why don’t you leave the “Cares of Life” apart and let’s face this our God.
A Yoruba Adage says: The One who made one knows how to settle one.
If God has made us as we have already read in Isaiah 43; He will settle us!
Bring your Mind back to Him, serve Him wholeheartedly – No more:
I. You will go to Church today, next week you are not coming.
II. You will give your Tithe today, next Month, you don’t give your Tithe.
III. You will do His Will today because you have food in the house, next week you are not obeying His Will.
We have to serve Him: When it is convenient and when it is not convenient – And God will reward us Mightily in Jesus Name – Amen!
- God must be Number One (1) in our Life.
We should give Him that Preference afterall who gave you the Life? – Our Life is a Loan to us!
I. Who gave you the mouth to talk?
II. Who gave you the beauty you are showing all around?
III. Who gave you those two (2) Legs that you are walking with and you are dancing with?
IV. Who gave you everything that you have?
God is the One that gave them to you!
Then He should be Number One (1) in our Decisions – Don’t forget that if you put him Last, you will be in trouble!
God told the Prophet – Go to the Widow’s House in 1 Kings 17.
He said: Go, I have already Prepared her to feed you.
In Verses 10-16 (1 Kings 17: 10-16); he (Elijah) visited the Widow’s House and the Widow said that the only thing she has she want to Prepare it and eat it and die with her son.
The Prophet said: Do my own first.
Brethren, the moment you begin to Put God aside anywhere around our Life or in our homes, in our Business – We are going in for Bankruptcy (Either Spiritual Bankruptcy or Financial Bankruptcy).
… God First – In my New Beginning, God first!
Our Life is a Loan to us – We don’t own it and so whatever He requires from us, we should give!
So in our New Beginning, we should always remember that for us to live for a Second is by Him – If He doesn’t allow it, you can’t live another Second!
- We must be Faithful – Total Faithfulness must be Declared!
Once you declared that the Lord God is your Lord and Saviour; anywhere you go you must Testify that He is your Lord and your Saviour.
When Zacchaeus climbed the Sycamore Tree to see Jesus Christ; the moment Jesus Christ saw him, He said: Come down, today Salvation has entered into your House – Luke 19: 5-9.
Immediately, Zacchaeus began to Restitute.
So Brethren in our New Beginning, if we have Restitution to make of the things that we have done in the Past; you better make it so that your New Beginning can be free from any form of Satanic Problem and you can rejoice forever.
Because Zacchaeus did this, Jesus Christ entered into his house and He ate with him.
Baetimeaus in his New Beginning, he became a Faithful Follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our New Beginning will require our Faithfulness. God expects His Stewards to be Faithful – No more “Double Character”.
You don’t be a Woman of God in the Church and at home be an Hyena either to your husband, Relatives or even to your neighbours.
Let God be God in our lives – This is very important because the moment you begin to Play “Double Roles”, you will Play your Life into the hands of a Destroyer.
But when you are Faithful and you are Faithful to the end; you have a Place in Him here on Earth because He will Stand by you and you have a Place with Him in Heaven.
- You must be Contented.
In your New Beginning, no more “Longer Throat”; no more looking at things that are not yours – God is ready to give you whatever you ask Him to give you and need unless it is not yet time for you to have it.
And when it is not time yet for you to have it, then wait.
… He that wait upon the Lord, He will renew their Strength.
When God says in 1 Timothy 6:6 – Godliness with Contentment is a Great Gain.
If you say that you are Godly and you are not contented; who are you going to say that you belong to? – We have to be Contented.
This is what God wants from you and me – Be satisfied with wherever God put you. He will not forget you, He will not forsake you, He will not leave you there forever.
Promotion is ahead and we shall all receive it when it is time in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
- Make God your Ally.
Why? – Because trouble in this world.
This world is not a Bed of Roses – There are Good Days, there are “Not Too Good Days”.
But when you make God your Ally, He is the One you are consulting at every Stage of your Life, He will surely show up.
That’s why He said that even though we are in the Valley of the Shadow of Death, we should fear no evil – That He will be with us.
If there is anybody going through any form of Pain and Sickness today; I Pray sincerely on this Altar that today: God will take you out of the Sickness and He will make you Whole again in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
In Job 19:25; He says: Even though He slain me, I know that my Redeemer liveth.
Whatever may be happening, I don’t want to be bothered – Once I’m on His side, I know that He liveth, He will be on my side.
That is why some of us; whatever may be happening, we just keep on looking unto Jesus: The Author and Finisher of our Faith – He will answer us!
Psalms 50:15 says: Call on Him in the day of trouble, He will answer you.
We need to make God our Ally – Make Him your friend, make Him the One you will always talk to when there is a Problem. Even when you are Happy, tell Him – Daddy, I’m so happy today. Thank You, Thank You for giving me the opportunity. Oh, I’m so happy!
Make Him the first Person you will even talk to before – Before your children, before your Boss. God should be the first Person you always talk to.
So, those of us who are in the habit of not always doing our Daily Devotionals in the Morning: You don’t commune with God, you don’t receive a Word from Him; in your New Beginning, let’s start a New Thing – Make God your Ally and He will see you through!
- Be a Prayer Warrior.
… Pray, Pray, Pray – It’s very important.
Jesus Christ showed us this example – Before He does anything, He will Pray.
… When of our Saviour leads the way, why can’t we follow His Example?
Prayer is essential – 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says: Pray without ceasing.
That is Non Stop – Just keep Praying. This is very essential.
You may be in the bus, you may be in the car, you may be in the Train – Nobody holds your Mouth, you can Pray anywhere.
Whatever the circumstances around you; even if you don’t want to consult Him for anything, why not Praise Him?
… Praise Him anytime without ceasing!
- Be Filled with the Holy Spirit.
Many of us, we don’t know what the filling of the Holy Spirit does in the Christian Life.
It is a Great Association, it is a Unique Communion with the Almighty God because anything you do and you don’t do it in the Power of the Spirit, the flesh will take over.
It is the Spirit that quickens and the flesh Profiteth nothing.
That is why we see some of us – We can’t Pray for two (2) Sentences before we burst into tongues.
It has worked for me and it is still working.
I could remembered when I was in a Conference in Harare (Zimbabwe) in 1985; when I had a Great Encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Throughout the night, I spoke in Tongues.
Brethren, God wants to commune with you. He wants to hear us, He wants to talk to us but we are too busy.
But I Pray that after this Convention, you will renew your Union with Him in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ – Amen
In Acts Chapter 2; in the New Beginning of the Apostles, they were asked to wait in the Upper Room because they can’t do anything without the Power.
So, in our New Beginning, we must be filled with the Power of the Holy Ghost!
When they have received the Holy Ghost, expressway to Miracles, Winning Souls.
All the Problems you have with Winning Souls will cease as you will just open your mouth in the bus or Church and People will be saved.
Not everyone in a Church are saved.
I have been in a Funeral Service before and I was sitting with an Elderly Woman – A friend to the Woman that they are burying.
And I had the opportunity to Minister to that Woman.
And I did the Follow Up the Second Sunday and she told me that you are a God-Sent – This is my Suicidal Note that I have already written that I’m taking my Life the next day you spoke to me because all her four (4) children she sent to America to Study came back home as “Drug Addicted” Men and so everything that the Woman had, they took it from her to buy all what they spoke.
To enter her house, she has about six (6) Iron Gates before you get to her Living Room.
… And what was there? – Small Television that was caged again.
She opened her room, nothing was there – No Jewellery and she is surviving on little, little money.
Brethren, this is very important – We need to make sure that we have the Holy Spirit of God so that the rest of our lives shall be Profitable in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ – Amen
And so that we can win Souls for Jesus Christ, so that we too can be a Miracle Worker!
Peter and the rest of the Apostles, when they were filled; Bro Paul was filled; Philip was filled such that he went to Samaria alone and the whole town was bustling in Joy.
That is you! – You are the next Philip in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!
… Our God is not a Respecter of Persons.
PART 2: THIS IS OUR PHYSICAL LIFE.
- In our Physical Life, we should remember that Time flies.
Last Year, you are age 40, this Year you have turned 41, by next Year, you will turn 42.
There is no way you can say that you are now 30 unless you want to bring Problem into your Life.
Time flies – Ecclesiastes 12:1 says: Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy Youth, while the evil days come not, nor the Years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no Pleasure in them.
Brethren, if you don’t spend your Time in a very Gainful way; you will regret it!
Because in this New Beginning, God has already put down everything that He is going to do for us. Each day, it will be accumulating but if you miss a day’s task, there won’t be room for you.
What will you do? – You can’t query God, you can’t sue God.
Therefore my Beloveth Sisters in the House (or reading now on the Label of DMC); no more wasting of Time. Whatever you want to do now, do it now.
Start your New Beginning now – Restitute your Ways of the Past things you have done and move on now in your New Beginning.
… And God Himself will give us the Grace to do it in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
- Aim at the Best.
Aim at the best and don’t let anybody Pull you down – You have the Mark of Christ on you, aim at the best for yourself.
If there is anybody around you who wants to tell you that you can’t go there; tell him or her: In whose name? That I can do all things through Christ Who Strengthens me!
Brethren, Colossians 1:27(b) says: Christ in us, the Hope of what? – Glory!
John 9:4 says: We should work while it is still day, the Night is coming when no Man will be able to work again.
Seize every available opportunities to make it in Life!
Aim for a “Better Tomorrow” – You are not going to die wretched, you are not going to die a beggar, you are not going to die a “Barren Woman”.
God is on His Throne, aim for a “Better Tomorrow” and God Himself will answer you in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!
In Ruth 2: 2-9; Ruth refused to waste her own Time even in the Strange Land.
Many of us are in a Strange Land.
If she (Ruth) decided to go and glean on the field – How can we be waking up in the morning and say: God give us food?
I can do something now! – There is a “Better Tomorrow” for me. I have followed the God of Mama Naomi to this Place and that God is my Provider. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
And she launched out to go and glean because she wants a “Better Tomorrow”.
And that is telling us that we must work hard – A New Beginning has been Pronounced, then the work begins (Take Note).
… To make things New for you, start now.
Ruth started – She went to glean in Boaz farm and at the end of the day; her New Beginning came.
You may be a Widow – That is not the end of your Life. This also shall Pass as there is Time for everything in Life.
Look at the Life of Ruth – She decided to walk closely with her God (The God of Israel).
- You should Humble Yourself.
Pride will always cause a Stumbling Block!
Even in a New Beginning, when you are Proud, whatever the Beginning is, there is no way you can receive any Promotion!
In 1 Peter 5:6; the Bible says that: Humble yourself therefore under the Mighty Hands of God and in due Time, He will exalt you.
While Ruth had the opportunity to glean in Boaz’s farm; the Bible tells us in Ruth 2:10 that when she saw Boaz coming; she fell down and bowed herself down.
Brethren, how many of us knows how to make People happy with us even by telling them: Oh my dear, you are so beautiful; Thank God for your Life; Thank You for what you did for me yesterday.
But some of us don’t have the “Sense of Appreciation” – How are we going to move forward?
Ruth appreciated Boaz – She fell down, she honoured the Man: You are the owner of this farm, thank you for giving me this opportunity.
Some of us, we receive Gifts as if we are supposed to have it – It is a Gift, the owner can decide to withdraw it.
I Pray that God will give us the “Sense of Appreciation” even in our Humility in Jesus Name – Amen
- Make Yourself Available.
There are many Gifts in the Church of God – God has made a lot of Gifts ready for those who are available.
But some of us are never available – We are busy with other things that are not going to be of Gain to us.
Let us be available for every Good Works
In Ruth 2:18 – Ruth was available for her Mother In-law.
I. How many People have you fed?
She went out to glean, bring back all that she brought so that they can eat.
II. How many People have you fed?
Don’t you always claim that they should go and work as I work for my own money?
Who gave you the Power to get Rich? Who gave you the Strength to go to work?
Brethren, it is High Time in our New Beginning: Let us begin to serve God with all our heart, with all our Soul, with all our Might and be a Blessing to other People.
… Like I told you earlier on that: Your Life is a loan to you – Spend it Gainfully!
- Allow Counsellors in your Life.
In Ruth 2: 22-23; Mummy Naomi was not looked down upon. She wasn’t a Woman of God but she has the Spirit of Counselling to counsel Ruth – This is what you should do!
Many of us we are “Too Big” to be counselled. You don’t listen to Counselling as you already have what you want to do in your Mind.
You will go to the Pastor; but after Counselling you, you will say you have heard but you will do what you wanted to do.
… You are Playing away your Life!
Whereas the Bible tells us that: In the midst of Counsellors, you cannot go astray or wrong.
There is safety when there are Counsellors around you!
I Pray today that in our New Beginning; God will lead us to a very “Good Counsellor” in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
PART 3: THE MARRIAGE (OUR MARITAL LIFE)
- Marry According to God’s Will – Allow God to choose for you.
Those of us who are not yet Married and we are in the house (or reading now on the Label of DMC); in our New Beginning, don’t look at the Instagram or Social Media to look for Husband – Let God Choose for you.
The General Overseer will always say it that when you miss the Right Person in your Marriage, then it is the beginning of Hell for you!
Take time, listen to the Voice of your God – Let God direct you to the Right Man. Don’t choose by Sight, don’t choose because the Man has a Good car or a Good job.
I married my husband – I knew him at the time he was in the University by the Grace of God. He finished, Praise God and from there we started Life after Marriage.
But at the end of it all that he went to Study at the University, we came back to “Ground Zero” to be a Pastor and in the Vineyard.
No Young Woman will say that at a Particular Stage in her Marriage, she wants to come back to “Ground Zero” and then begin to Struggle.
But it happened – But I Thank God that I didn’t marry the wrong Person.
Brethren, those of you who are not yet Married learn from Mama Mary – The Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ.
She told the Angel: How is this going to happen?
Finally, she said according to thy Words.
Let the Will of God be done in your Life
In Luke 1:38; it says: According to thy Words.
Don’t marry by Sight, marry by Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will enjoy your Marriage.
Marriage is very important so that we don’t run into the snares of all kind of Problems in Life by marrying the wrong Person.
- Apart from God”s Will, run the Institution of Marriage with Wisdom from God.
Wisdom is the Principal Thing according to Proverbs 4:7 and don’t compare Notes with Other People.
Seek for the Wisdom of God!
Solomon did not go to the Queen of Sheba first, he talked to God to receive Wisdom.
Until he has received the Wisdom and Things were rosy for him, then the Queen of Sheba knew that there was a King who is richer than any other King.
Wisdom is required of us in the Institution of Marriage.
Proverbs 14:1 says that we should build our home with Wisdom.
Not everything that glisters is Gold.
But when you have the Wisdom of God, you will know which one to choose first.
I Pray that the Wisdom of God will come Mightily upon us even in our New Beginning in Marriage in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
- Obey the Law of God in Marriage.
There is always a Law attached to everything – You work hard, you rich and you are able to Stand before Kings because you are diligent.
For you to have a Good Home as a Woman, you have to obey the Laws of the Lord – And to obey is better than Sacrifice.
1 Peter 3:1 and Ephesians 5:22 – Both Passages talking about how a Woman should behave in the Home.
But today, Civilization is turning everything round!
But the Word of God is very Clear – When God says Submit, be in Union with your Husband; He knows that, that is where we can have a Peaceful Life.
But many of us today; because we are not in Submission, we want to be Equal with your Husband in the house and sometimes you even want to be his boss.
Then situation will turn around for you too.
But those of us who God has given the Favour with our Husbands; I Pray that it will continue in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!
You will not compare your Notes with any other Woman who is not submitting to the Will of God in Marriage.
Anywhere you have missed it; in this Convention, before you go home, make Restitution and make Amendments so that we can return to a beautiful home when you get home.
And I Pray that from now on; your home will be Heaven on Earth in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!
- Let the Love of God Constraint you in your Marriage.
The Love of God is very important.
Always ask the Question: Will Jesus Christ do it like this?
I want to do it like that of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:5 says: Let this Mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
We need to have the Love of Christ in us in our Marriage!
All the People around you in Marriage may not believe in Loving; they may not be Lovable but when the Love of God constraints you; you have to just say: This is the Will of God, I must do it. I love God and I must love His People!
- Relationship
Relationship with Husband, Relationship with his Relatives, Relationship with the People you are working with even in the home is very important.
Let there be a Good Rapport, a Good Relationship and Communication is essential.
Admire People – Admire your Husband but don’t admire other Men more than your Husband.
Encourage him to do the best you can do for him – He is Part of your Life, he is your Flesh, he is your Head.
And once the Head is cut away from the body, the body will die.
I Pray that we shall not die in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen; and our Husbands will not die in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen.
… Relationship is very important!
In Psalms 34: 9-14 – We are told that we have to have Relationship with our Husbands.
And even when there are occasions when we are cheated, don’t curse him because some of you are used to cursing.
Don’t curse him – Rather Pray that your children will not live under curses.
Then we should have Relationship with our children.
We have to be friendly to the extent of Training them in the Way of the Lord so that they can listen to us.
When we are friendly to them:
I It will be easy to correct them.
II. It will be easy for us to Pray with them.
III It will be easy for them to rely on you – Oh my Mummy will Pray for me. Please, Pray for me.
We visited someone in the midst and thick of her crises and she said that her two (2) children came around and were Praying for her.
How Old are the Children? – Between the ages of 9 Years and 11 Years Old.
She said that immediately, she received Strength.
I. Are you so friendly with your children that they can Pray for you?
II. Are you friendly with your Grandchildren that they can come around and Pray for you?
III. Have you established Praying as a means of livelihood in your house, in your home so much that the children have learnt it from you that when there is a Problem, Prayer is the Next Thing?
This is very important – Be a “Praying Mother” and very soon, you will reap the very Good Rewards – Amen!
- Brethren, Welfare is very Important.
People celebrate the Graduation of their children – Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers etc.
What should you celebrate?
Is your Child Born Again?
Is he/she behaving like an Outcast while under your roof?
Brethren, what kind of Legacy do you want to leave for your Child?
Papa Joshua said in Joshua 24:15 that: As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
God gave Testimony concerning Abraham in Genesis 18:19 that: Concerning Abraham, I know that he will command his children and household to do His Will.
Some of us; our children are “Too Big” for us to command now.
You will say: This is their Time, this is what is in Vogue – No you don’t talk to them like that.
If God testifies concerning Abraham that He knows Abraham; what is the Testimony of God concerning you in your house about your children?
What Legacies do you want to leave for them?
I. They may be Medical Doctors – Yes is that New.
II. They may be Civil Engineer – Yes, People have been in the Past.
… What Legacies do you want to leave?
I. There are Medical Doctors in Jail.
II. Today, there are People with all kind of PhD in Jail because of deformation of Character and because they don’t know God.
… And they that knows their God, they shall be Strong and they will do what? – Exploits!
Brethren, today is a New Day – A Day of New Beginning!
Are we ready to receive it? – Rise Up!
Let’s Pray this Prayer Point:
I want you to just raise up your hands and lift up your eyes unto the Lord today and say:
Father, I receive my New Beginning in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Fill me with your Holy Spirit, with Power that will sustain my New Beginning.
Every form of Fleshy attitudes that will make me to loose my New Beginning, today remove it from my Life.
Lord I need You – Sustain my New Beginning, let me end in Glory.
I rebuke shame, disobedience, Pride, Covetousness, Hatred.
Give me Love for my Husband, Children, Neighbours, Relatives because Your Name is Love so that my New Beginning can be sustained.
Please, give me Faith, help me Lord in my Decision Making – No more Fooling around.
I need you the Greatest Counsellor – Counsel me at every Stages of my New Beginning. Don’t let me get detailed again.
Help me to stay with you till the end of Day so that I can be Glorified at the end of the Day.
