BIBLE TEXT: EXODUS 14:21-28

1. Well, let’s lift our hands to the Most High God and Bless His Holy Name. Let’s give God the Glory, let’s give Him Honour, give Him Adoration.

Praise Him from the bottom of your heart. Give Him Glory, give Him Honour, give Him Adoration. Let Him hear your Voice. Praise Him! Praise Him!! Praise Him!!!

Give Him Glory, give Him Honour; Magnify His Holy Name. He is Worthy, Worthy to be Praised, Worthy to be Adored! Magnify His Holy Name.

Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus.

AMEN!

2. Lift your Voice to Him and say: Father, Iet me have an Encounter with You today!

Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God: Let me have an Encounter with You today.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

OPENING PRAYER

The Almighty God, Maker of Heaven and Earth. The All Sufficient God.

The One Whose Throne is in Heaven; the One Who uses the Earth as His footstool – Glory be to Your Holy Name!

Today in the life of All Your Children show Your Almightiness. Let everyone of us have an Encounter with you today!

Please Lord, surprise us! At the end of it all, take all the Glory.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Wave to one (1) or two (2) People and say: God will have an Encounter with you today!

… And then you may Please, be seated.

We will open our Bible to Exodus 14:21-28:

21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE MEANING OF DIVINE ENCOUNTER?

Divine Encounter actually means a Collision between the Divine and the Human; between God, with His Supernatural Powers and Human Beings, with their Helplessness;

A Collision between the Divinely Spiritual and the Humanly Physical.

… That’s what we mean by Divine Encounter.

And when the Spiritual Collides with the Physical; one must yield to the Other.

For Example, Luke 7:11-15; there were two (2) Groups Marching in Opposite directions in a City called Nain.

I. In Group one (1) was a Widow who had lost her only son. And she was in a very, very Great Sorrow – A Group followed her. They were going to bury the only son. There was a lot of weeping, a lot of wailing as they were Preceding.

II. In another Group was Jesus Christ, His Disciples and a lot of People following Him.

Halfway they met!

Jesus, the Author of Joy; The One Who said: Ask till your Joy be full (John 16:24); The One representing God – As it is written in Psalms 16:11 that in His Presence there is the Fullness of Joy; was coming from the other direction, they Collided.

… The result of the Collision was that Joy Swallowed Up Sorrow.

The Sorrow of the Widow collapsed and she left the Place to go back home rejoicing – There was a DIVINE ENCOUNTER.

God collided with Man; Joy collided with Sorrow; Life collided with death.

Tonight, the Almighty God is going to Collide with Someone – Amen.

Tonight we are going to talk only about Three (3) Cases of Divine Collisions;

… Tomorrow we will continue!

One by one, after we have discussed each one, you will Stand on your feet and cry to God.

When the time comes, if you like you can Pray gently. If you like you can Pray like Warrior.

One thing I know is this: There is at least Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC, who would not go back with sorrow – Amen.

CASE NO. 1: The first Case we are going to discuss is – When there is a Collision between God and everything that is Standing between you and your Promise Land.

Many of us here, at one time or the other, God has spoken directly, concerning your situation. You knew that the word of Prophecy that came had been for you – You knew it!

But then you have been waiting for the Manifestation. And you know that once God has spoken it is settled. That when God speaks, it is done!

What you may not know is that there is a Force Standing between you and the fulfilment of that Prophecy.

… God is going to take care of that tonight – Amen.

God Promised the children of Israel a Land filled with Milk and Honey. On the way, Red Sea came and said No! I’m not going to let you enter into the Promise Land. The children of Israel could not swim; they didn’t have boats – There was a Destiny Delay about to happen!

Then the wind blew – The Eastwind (which is another Title for the Holy Spirit) blew! The Way opened, and the Children of Israel Passed on to their Promise Land.

As God lives, before Sun Rise tomorrow, Somebody would have stepped into the Promises Land – Amen.

Let me give you another example: Ezekiel 37:1-11 (and I know this is Specifically for Someone) – It tells the Story of a Valley of Dry Bones. A Valley of Hopeless People. Not only were they dead, they had become bones and the bones were dry!

And the Bible says: “Lo, they were Very Dry.” – Absolutely Hopeless.

And all of a sudden, a word of Prophecy came: Bones live! And suddenly things began to happen. There was a Shaking – Bones began to join together with bones. Flesh covered them. And then everything surged.

There are some People listening to me now or reading now on the Label of DMC for who God has organised this Year’s Special Divine Encounter:

Bones have found bones! The Boy has found the girl he is going to marry; arrangements have been completed – Amen.

… But if he stops there, there will be Nothing to show for it!

The Valley has become full of bodies. No longer bones – With body, with flesh, until the Wind blew. And when the Wind blew, Life came.

There are some of you, you can feel your Blessings; you can almost touch them but there has been a delay.

… Today there will be a Collision – AMEN!!!

I give you another example; you will find this one in the Book of Joshua.

God told Joshua in Joshua 1:1-8: Everywhere you go, I’m giving it to you! – Joshua was happy.

But then he came against the Wall of Jericho. And the Wall of Jericho said No! I am not going to allow you to Pass through.

So, there was a Delay!

But then by the time you get to Joshua 5:13-15 – When Joshua was surveying the Wall and said, what is causing this delay now? The Captain of the Host of Heaven came and told him what to do.

… God is going to speak to Someone tonight – Amen.

You know the rest of the Story! – By the time we get to Joshua 6:1-end; after the Children of Israel had done what God asked them to do, the Sound came! The Wall heard a Noise and the Wall fell.

Those of you who came to the Divine Encounter this Morning – The Regular Monthly Divine Encounter (You will get to access the full Text of that Message Only on the Label of DMC); they heard that God can use a Voice, talk to Somebody who will always come and Supply a Solution to your Problems.

Somebody is going to hear a Noise from Heaven today that will give you a DIVINE ENCOUNTER; so that the delay to your Joy will be over – Amen.

When I was Preparing this Sermon, I remembered a situation several Years ago – 1974 to be exact. I was doing my PhD, I got a Scholarship and I got the money to do it. I had spent part of the money to do my Research.

I have kept Fifty Naira (N50) aside for Binding the Thesis – “When I finish the work, I will use this Fifty Naira (N50) to do the Binding.” I left that in my Account. And the Account is Controlled by my Head of Department.

I have finished my Thesis, I have given it to them at the Library and they have Bound it. Now to collect the money (and collect my Thesis) because my Supervisor said “if you Submit by tomorrow, we can begin to move fast, so that you can have your Graduation this Year.”

So, I went to my Head of Department – I mean I was confident and I relied on the money. I said Sir, I have come to collect the balance of my Scholarship so I can go and collect my Thesis from the Library. He said No! The money was given to you to do Research, not to Bind anything!

Ha! Of what use is the Research it I don’t Bind it? And I must Submit by tomorrow!

He said: No way! I am not giving you the money.

That Night I couldn’t sleep. Fortunately by then I was already a Christian.

So, I sat down in the Night crying to God – God I don’t know how You are going to do it, send Help to me.

After Midnight I heard a knock at my door.

… Miracle will knock at your door tonight – Amen.

And a friend of mine that I have not seen for a long time because he borrowed some money from me and he didn’t want to Pay!

I said: “Who is that?” He mentioned his name. Ha! At this time of the Night? I opened the door!

To cut a long Story short, he said: “I couldn’t sleep. I have come to Pay the money I owed you.”

PRAYER NO 1:

Stand on your feet and cry to the Almighty God and say: Father, anything at all Delaying my Journey to my Promise Land, Collide with it Lord.

… Open your mouth and and cry to God!

Thank You Father! In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Please be seated – So shall it be!

CASE NO. 2: Is the Case where the Enemy is not even talking about Delay; the Enemy is saying it is not going happen at all.

In 1 Samuel 16:11-13, Samuel has already Anointed David to be King. As far as God is concerned, the matter was already settled – Anointing and all.

But then almost immediately, the devil said No, it is not going to happen.

In 1 Samuel 17:34-5; First, a Lion came: “if I kill you how can you become King?” But then David put the Lion to rest! A Bear came, David Punched the Bear together. The devil changed his tactics and brought Goliath – “You have been killing the ones I brought to you, now let’s see how you are going to get close to Goliath?”

And Goliath said clearly – I want to take over your Kingdom. Send me a Man. If I defeat him, we will take over your Kingdom. If he defeats me, you take over our Kingdom.

… Goliath knew no Man can match him!

But David was there! And David had a Helper. He had Somebody Who can Collide; Somebody Who says No, it is going to be well with you.

… And that Somebody is The Rock.

The Bible in 1 Corinthians 10:4 says: Jesus Christ is the Rock.

Goliath stood there, the Rock knocked him down.

… There was a Collision, a Divine Encounter.

The devil said No, I am not going to let you win that easily – So he raised up the father-in-law (King Saul). The father-in-law said you are not going to become King.

The Bible says in 1 Samuel 18:10-11; the King had a Javelin in his hand. David was there Playing the Harp; and the king threw the Javelin – He wanted to Pin David to the wall “I’m going to kill him.” But God intervened!

… It wasn’t once that the King tried that one but he failed again and again.

I Thank God when I heard the Word of Prophecy Last Friday, (4th February, 2022 at the February 2022 Holy Ghost Service) that says – Pharoah shall fail again – Amen!

No matter how Powerful the Pharaoh may be, who says you will not reach your Goal, he shall FAIL, because there is a COLLISION – Amen.

You remembered the Story of one of my daughters – She came to one of our Programs at Ebute Meta (RCCG National Headquarters Parish in Lagos Nigeria) Years ago. She should have been married for a long time but was still Single.

And the Word of God just came and said: There is a girl here, your mother is the one who said you are not going to marry. Within a week if she doesn’t Change her mind, she will be dead!

The girl went home (and of course she knew she was the one) told the Mother.

The following day the Mother came with the girl – Very, very furious: “What kind of Pastor are you? You are the one teaching these People the wrong things.”

I said, what’s the Problem Ma? – “My daughter came home and said you said that I will die within a week.”

I said me? When did I say that?

My daughter said the Mother! I said No, I didn’t mention anybody’s name. Don’t mind the girl.

She said is that so?

I said don’t mind her oooo. I didn’t mention your name?

So she told the daughter to excuse us. And then she turned the me: Pastor! I said Yes ma – “Is it true that if the Mother wasn’t going to allow the daughter to marry, she will die?”

I said, it is not you oooo. But it is true – Within one (1) Week, the Mother is going to die, I’m sure!

“It’s not that I don’t want her to a marry; she is the one taking care of me. When she marries who will take care of me?”

… She is the one taking care of you and you don’t want her to marry?

I said Mama, she is always my child. I will talk to the husband, they will take care of you.

“In that case, she can marry!” – Six (6) Months later, my daughter was married!

PRAYER NO. 2:

Stand on your feet! Cry to the Almighty God: Anyone or Anything that says I won’t reach my Goal, Father Collide with them.

Thank You Father! In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

… The Lord will answer your Prayers, in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

3. THE THIRD CASE (which is the last one for tonight): Is when the Enemy is not even interested in you – The Enemy wants to Delay your Children; he wants to destory your Future Completely.

Now when we begin to talk about children, those of you who are Young may say – “Oh well, that’s for those who are already with children.”

… Oh! One day you too you, you are going to become Parents.

In 1 Kings 17:8-16, Poverty came to the home of the Widow of Zarephath. Until there was one (1) Meal left for the Mother and the son to eat and die.

The devil wasn’t so much interested in the Mother, it was the son that the devil wanted to kill – You know the Story!

God intervened – Elijah came and food began to flow.

But then if you read the Story now from 1 Kings 17:17-24, the devil came again, through Sickness and said Okay, if I can’t kill this boy through lack of food, now let’s kill him through Sickness.

The Bible said, the boy became sick and died.

Thank God, there was another Divine Encounter and the boy came back to Life.

But there is still another one in 2 Kings 4:1-7 – Again, another Widow; again Poverty and then the Creditors said: “We are coming for our money, or else, we sell your children.”

The devil is keenly interested in your children, your future – He wants to destroy.

In Matthew 15:21-28, a woman came to Jesus Christ and said: “I am not even the one in Problem now; my daughter is grievously vexed of the devil.”

Thank God there was a Collision.

… In all the cases, God intervened.

In the Name that is above every other names, not only will you reach your Goal; your children will even be Greater than you – AMEN.

I remembered an occasion (Couple of Years ago) – We had finished a Program and I was rushing home, at least to go and get some rest. And suddenly there was a Man who was shouting, screaming so loudly and I heard!

But there was a crowd. I knew if I waited, there will be a Problem.

So I drove home but I told my driver: “As soon as you dropped me, go and get that boy.”

He dropped me, then he went for him.

They brought him, his wife and two (2) little children (a set of twins).

Sir, what is the Problem?

He said, I’m not even worried about myself, I’m not even worried about my wife. We have not eaten for three (3) days. And we have these twins and they are dying of hunger!

He said, I am a Graduate, my wife is a Graduate, but we couldn’t get a job.

I would have been a Gentleman, I would have remained quiet when they told me to be quiet but my children!

So first of all we gave food to the children, we gave food to the father and the mother. And then contacted the Pastor in Charge of Region, and they got him a job.

Any attempt for the devil to destory your children, must be dealt with Tonight – Amen.

PRAYER NO. 3:

So lift your Voice to the Almighty God with all your heart and cry to Him: Father, anything threatening my Future, Collide with it tonight.

… Collide with anything threatening my Future; Collide with everything threatening my Future!

Thank You Father! In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Please be seated! We are about to close now.

ALTAR CALL

It is written, at the Name of Jesus, every knees must bow – Whether Willingly or Compulsorily.

If you refuse to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ Voluntarily, when He Collides with you, there will be Nothing left.

The Bible calls Him “The Rock”.

It says, if you fall on Him, you will be destroyed. If He falls on you, you will be destroyed.

If you surrender to Him Willingly, then He will Collide with all the Forces against you.

He said it clearly, if you are not for Me, you are against Me.

… Divine Encounter is a Collision.

So I beg those of you who are still reluctant to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ, you better come to Him now.

Because this Week (in Particular) there is going to be DIVINE COLLISION – Amen.

So if you want to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ, Stand on your feet wherever you are now or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC and do so without delay – And then you will begin to enjoy the Support of the Almighty God.

Cry to Jesus Christ now – Ask Him to have Mercy on you; ask Him to save your Soul. Tell Him you have come to surrender to Him and ask Him to Please take you over from this moment onwards.

Promise Him from now on, I will serve You. I surender to You completely. I want to surrender Willingly. Forgive all my sins.

The rest of us, let’s Stretch our hands towards these our New Brothers and Sisters and Intercede for them. Pray that the One Who saved our Souls would save their own Souls also.

Please Pray for them for just one (1) more Minute and then we would Pray!

Thank You Father! In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God we want to Thank You!

Thank You for Your Words; and Thank You for these People who have come to surrender their lives to You.

Please receive them. Have Mercy on them, Forgive all their sins. Save their Souls. Wash them clean with Your Blood.

From now on Lord God Almighty, anytime they call on You, answer them by Fire.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Those of you who have just surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ; I rejoice with you. Because from now on by the Grace of God, I will be Praying for you.

So, I am going to need your names, your Address and your Prayer Request – God bless you!

… And if you are clapping, let us clap very well.

Thank You Father!

OFFERING

Before the Final Blessing; I want you to take your Offering – Lift it to the Almighty God and cry to Him and say:

Every form of Poverty in my life, Father Collide with it today.

Oh Thank You Jesus! In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Then we will dance to the nearest Basket and drop our Offering (ONLINE as well) and then we will say the Closing Prayer.

AMEN! – Please lift your hands to the Most High God:

CLOSING PRAYER

Father in the Mighty Name of Jesus – ALL these Your Children, I Decree that every delay in their lives will die tonight.

Every Stumbling Blocks, every Force or Forces that say that they won’t reach their goal; Father, destroy tonight.

Anything by whatever name that has made up his or her Mind that the Future of the children of these Your People might be destroyed; Father, today destroy them.

Every Red Sea – Divide!

Every Wall of Jericho – Pull now.

Every Goliath – Cut off his Head.

Let it be well with Your People!

Let it be well with their children!

Bless their Offering, Sanctify it. Destroy Poverty in their lives!

And let them Serve You forever!

As they go, Please go with them.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – AMEN.
