DAY 1 EVENING: OFFERING CHARGE
DATE: 4TH DECEMBER, 2023
BIBLE TEXT: GENESIS 22: 1-2 AND 15-17
Let Somebody shout Hallelujah -Hallelujah!
First, I want to give Glory to God for the Life of our daddy – Daddy GO, Pastor E.A Adeboye; my father, our father.
And for the Life of our Mummy – Mummy Folu Adeboye; my Mummy, our Mummy.
Can we give Glorious Hallelujah to these Glorious lives – Hallelujah!
Year after year, continuously you have been a Fountain, Sources of Blessings, bringing New Wave of Glory to the Body of Christ from time to time.
And we are very, very Grateful.
And we Thank the Lord for making you a Shinning Example to the entire Body of Christ – We are Grateful!
And I want to chip this in – The Support, the Prayers, the Encouragement, the Wise Counsels that you have given to me as the National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN); kept me Steady and Focused.
… And I’m very, very Grateful.
Please turn your Bible to the Book of Genesis 22: 1-2:
- And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt Offering upon one of the Mountains which I will tell thee of.
God Almighty gave our father Abraham an opportunity for Divine Repositioning and He didn’t miss it – He grabbed it and did as God asked him to do.
Now, it wasn’t that God needed anything – The God that we served is the All Sufficient God, and Self Sufficient God.
Nothing can be taking from Him, Nothing can be added to Him – He is Complete from Eternity to Eternity.
So, whenever God is asking a Human Being to Give Him something, it wasn’t that God needs that thing but He is only giving an opportunity for that Human Being to be Repositioned by connecting to his/her Blessings!
That was exactly what was happening here!
And it was a Call for a Sacrifice, and a Call for an Offering – An Offering that took Abraham Faith, it took Abraham Obedience and it took Abraham the Willingness to Sacrifice!
And Abraham did not Delay – He took the very Best. As a matter of fact, the only son that he had.
He knew that only the Best is Good enough for God and he did not hold back the Best.
He didn’t know that what God was asking him to do was a Picture of what was going to happen in the Future – Thousands of years after.
When God Himself will bring into “Actial Fulfilment” what Abraham did in Shadow by giving His Only Begotten Son.
When Isaac carried those woods going to Moriah, it was a Picture of Jesus Christ carrying the Cross to Calvary.
Our Lord Jesus said that Abraham saw my days and he was glad (DMC NOTES: The referenced Bible Text can be found in John 8:56). This is where he saw it in Faith.
John 8:56 – Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and was glad.
Let me read 1 or 2 more Verses.
In Genesis 22:15, Abraham responded in Faith and Obedience
He laid his son on the Altar and was ready to sacrifice him.
Genesis 22:15 says: And an Angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of the Heaven the second time.
Something happened that Changed Abraham’s Life Perpetually in Time and in Eternity because he did something.
Genesis 22:16 – And the Angel said, by myself have I sworn saith the LORD for because thou has done this thing. ….
There are certain things that we do that makes God to Reposition us to a Position of Higher Level of Glory – He (Abraham) offered his only son.
… You have not withheld thy son, thine only son.
For doing that, Genesis 22:17 says: That in Blessing I will bless thee …
Tonight, as we give our Best, we will connect the Blessings of God in a New Way – Amen!
God will Reposition you with His Blessings.
… And in Multiplying, I will Multiply thy Seed as the Stars of the Heaven and as the sand which is upon the sea shore and thy Seed shall Possess the Gate of his Enemies.
Abraham was Repositioned that Day forever!
So this Evening, let us follow the “Shinning Example” of our father Abraham – Take the Best on you, in Faith, in Obedience and make it Sacrificial.
Remember that it is not that God needs anything from you and I – He is Complete by Himself.
But He is giving you and I and giving each one of us an opportunity to connect with His Perpetual Blessings and be Repositioned.
And we are children of Abraham and we should do what our father Abraham did that made God to Reposition him for the Time and Eternity!
I believed that by your Giving tonight; God will Reposition you in a way you will never remained the same again – Amen!
So Please, Prepare your Offerings now:
- Give it in Faith.
- Give it in Obedience to the Word of God.
- And make it Sacrificial.
Then you will dance to the nearest Offering Basket to you and Place your Ofdering in it.

PRAYER ON OFFERING
Father Almighty, we Thank You for such a Glorious Night like this – When You have given us the Glorious opportunity to connect with Grace; so that we can be Repositioned for Greater Glory.
You gave Abraham that opportunity and he responded in Faith and in Obedience and gave Sacrificially.
I Present to You, the Offerings of Your People; as You accepted Abraham and his Offering, accept us and our Offerings.
And Lord, let this be a Point of Contact for our Divine Repositioning in the Name of Jesus.
As our daddy (Daddy GO) brings the Word of the Lord to us tonight; let Your Word comes Clearly to each and everyone of us in the Name of Jesus,
And let Your Words come in Power, in Grace, in Glory and let Your Words lift us from where we are to where you want us to be.
And let Nobody here ever remained the same again in the Name of Jesus.
Let Nobody connecting from any Part of the world tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC ever remained the same again in the Name of Jesus.
Thank You Lord for accepting our Offerings.
Thank You Oh Lord for this opportunity to connect with Your Grace.
Receive all the Glory and all the Honour.
