OPENING PRAYER
Authority in Heaven and Earth: Father, we Thank You for what You have done.
Thank You for what You have been doing; and Thank You for what You will continue to do.
Thank You for choosing me to bring forth Your Word tonight in a time like this.
My Lord and my God, I ask tonight: put Your Word in my mouth as You have been putting it in the mouth of Your son, Pastor Adeboye.
Anoint my tongue like that of the Angel; Breathe on me as Your Word is coming forth, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Daddy, I ask for one thing tonight: let everyone under the Sound of my voice, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC, be tremendously blessed.
For in Jesus’ Most Precious Name I have Prayed – Amen.
Brethren, join me as I Celebrate the Grace of God in the Life of our father-in-the-Lord, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God – Pastor E.A Adeboye and our Mother-In-Israel, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye – For giving us this Platform.
Daddy and Mummy, we Pray that the Lord will continue to lift you up like the Unicorn, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.
So shall it be, in the Mighty Name of Jesus we have Prayed – Amen
Exodus 4:20 – And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
Tonight, I am asked to speak on the Theme: THE ROD OF FIRE.
WHAT IS A ROD?
A Rod is a Natural Symbol of Authority; or a tool used by a Shepherd to guide and correct his flock.
While Fire is the Divine Presence of God.
But before we Proceed, I want is to look at:
THE EQUATIONS OF THE ROD OF FIRE.
EQUATION NO.1: Rod is equal to Authority; which is equal to Power.
Acts 1:8 – But you shall receive Power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be Witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the Earth.
EQUATION NO.2: Fire is equal to God.
In Hebrews 12:29, the Bible says, For our God is a Consuming Fire.
EQUATION NO.3: The word – ‘The’ means Definite.
That is, we are referring to a Specific Rod because we have so many rods.
But tonight, we are referring to a Specific Rod – “The Rod of Fire”.
Putting these Equations together, The Rod of Fire is the Authority and the Power of God.
The Bible makes us to understand from our Bible Text – Exodus 4:20; that Moses took his wife, his sons and the Rod of God in his hand.
Meaning, he took the Power and the Authority of God with him to Egypt.
That’s why the Bible says, God made him a god to Pharaoh – Exodus 7:1.
In the Name that’s above every other name (Jesus): I decree to Somebody under the sound of my voice, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC – Tonight, God will make you a god before your Enemies – Amen.
In Luke 12:49, the Bible says, I am come to send Fire on the Earth; and what will I do if it be already kindled? These are the words of Jesus.
So, one of the Major Assignments of Jesus when He was on Earth, was to Ignite the Fire upon His Children and make them a Rod of Fire.
That is why the Bible says in Psalm 82:6 – You are gods, and all of you are Children of the Most High.
Sir/Ma, the moment you become Born Again, the DNA of Jesus begins to run in your blood – And that makes you a Rod of Fire.
Let me remind you that the child of an elephant must not remain small; because it will eventually grow big like its father.
A son of a giant is a giant – If your father is a giant, you are a son of a giant.
If Jesus Christ of Nazareth is a Rod and a Fire, then you are a Rod of Fire.
Wherever you are under the Sound of my voice, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC, I want you to Place your right hand on your chest and Prophesy to yourself:
Say: I am a Rod of Fire!
WHAT FIRE DOES IN THE LIFE OF A MAN.
- Fire Sustains the Soul when Trials and Tests come your way.
1 Corinthians 3:13 – Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
Here, the Bible made us to understand that those who are running should keep on running; and those who want to stand should stand. But a Day is coming that every man’s work will be tested by Fire.
So, as a Child of God, whether you like it or not; you will be tested. And it is the Fire of God in you that will sustain you.
The Bible tells us about the Three (3) Hebrew Men: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – They were thrown into fire, but the fire could not burn them because they were carrying Fire.
- Fire Enables a Believer to live a Holy Life.
In Hebrews 12:14; the Bible says: Follow Peace with all Men, and Holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
- Fire Judges between Right and Wrong.
1 Corinthians 3:14 – If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a Reward.
It is the Fire that is in you that ignites your Conscience.
- Fire Purifies that which is not worthy and Destroys imperfection.
Zachariah 13:9 – And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as Silver is refined, and will try them as Gold is tried: they shall call on my Name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my People: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
I decree in the Name that’s above every other name: Tonight, you will become a Rod of Fire, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.
WHAT MUST I DO TO BECOME THE ROD OF FIRE?
All you need is to become a Son of Abraham; be a Daughter of Zion.
You cannot become a Rod of Fire when you are wallowing in sin.
When sin is your Nature; when you have not received Salvation.
Wherever you are under the Sound of my voice, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC; I urge you, as our father-in-the-Lord comes up tonight, don’t hesitate to Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ.
And He will make you a Rod of Fire tonight – Amen
Tonight is your Night and it must not pass you by, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
The rest of us, can we be on our feet as we are being Transformed into the Rod of Fire?

CLOSING PRAYER
Kindly Pray with me and say Father; by Your Spirit, make me a Rod of Fire tonight, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
The Bible says: It is not by Might, it is not by Power, but by the Spirit of the Living God.
Who is he that says a thing and it comes to pass when God has not spoken?
Father by Your Spirit, make me a Rod of Fire tonight, in the Name of Jesus.
Thank You Father, because it is done!
Glory be to Your Name in the Highest.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
So shall it be in the Name of God the Father; and of the Son; and of the Holy Ghost – Amen.
