Let Us Pray!

There is None Holy as the Lord
There is None beside thee
Neither is there are any Rock like our God
There is None Holy as the Lord.

OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God, we want to bless Your Holy Name.

You are the Holy One of Israel, the Unchangeable Changer, the Lord of Host Himself – We Worship You.

Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

King of Kings and Lord of Lords; we are asking for Mercy – Mercy for our families, Mercy for our Nations, and Mercy for the whole world.

Father, Please have Mercy in Jesus Name.

Send Your Word to the whole world today; heal the Sick, Set the Captives Free and just put an end to this Plague.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Today, I want to talk to you from Mark 4: 35-41.

Mark 4:35-41:

35. And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them (Jesus Christ said to the Disciples), Let us pass over unto the other side.
36. And when they had sent away the Multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37. And there arose a great Storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39. And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41. And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Again, this is one of the Sermons that I first Preached several years ago when there was Fear in the Land – And I Preached this Sermon: “Peace Be Still”.

Since then of course, I have Preached several Sermons on that same Topic from the same Bible Text – But of course each time from a different Perspectives.

From all the Perspectives, there is one Point that I have said again and again.

And that is simply this: “If God is in your boat; there is no way that the boat can sink.

… If God is in the boat of your Life, that boat can never, never sink!

So, those of you who are Children of God and you have Jesus Christ dwelling in you – Relax because:

I. there is no Way that Darkness can Overcome Light!

John 1: 4-5 tells us that in Jesus Christ is Life and the Life is the Light of Men. And the Light Shines in Darkness and Darkness cannot Overcome it.

II. There is no way that Death can Overcome the One who says: “I live forever”.

Revelation 1:8, Jesus Christ said: “I am alive forever”.

II. If only you will allow the One who says that: “I am the Resurrection and the Life” to come and dwell in your Life and dwell in your Home; then you have Nothing to fear about Death.

Because in John 11: 25-26; Jesus Christ said: “I am the Resurrection and the Life. If you believe in me, even if you are dead, you will live”.

And if you are alive, you will never die.

IV. He made All Things and so He Sets the Limits for everything.

For Example Job 38: 8-9; the Bible tells us that He shut up the sea with doors. And He tells the sea, thus far you can come no further.

That is why you find the waves of the sea comimg in and going back – When it gets to certain Limits that God has already Set, it must recede.

And so in the Bible Text that we read (Matthew 4: 35-41), they said: What manner of Man is this that even the wind and the sea obey Him?

They have to obey Him because He made them and He has put Limits!

So, if whatever Storm may come; if Jesus Christ is in your boat, the boat will not sink.

Years ago in my first visit to Abonnema Town in Rivers State. At that time, the only way you can go to Abonnema Town from Port Harcourt is by sea and we wanted to go there and hold a Crusade.

I gathered the Workers together in Ebute Metta (DMC NOTES: This is the Location of The RCCG National Headquarters Parish in Lagos State Nigeria) – And I asked that how many of you will go with me? Because shortly before that time, we heard that there was a boat that Capsized and several People died.

And I said that it is not Compulsory – Those of you who don’t want to go, just make sure that the day we were leaving, you come late and so we would have gone before you arrive.

And then, one Brother lifted up his hands and he said: Are you going? And I said: Yes sir.

He said that: Can I be in your boat? I said that you are Welcome.

And then he said: I will go.

I said: Why are you so sure? He said that I know that the boat you are in, is not going to sink.

I am an “Ordinary Man”; how much more the One who made the wind and the sea.

If Jesus Christ is in your boat, your boat can never, never sink:

1. If He is in your Marriage, it doesn’t matter the Storm that may come against the Marriage, the Marriage will Stand.

Why?

I. Because He is the Author of Marriage.

In Genesis 2:18; He is the One who said that: “It is not Good that Man should be alone”.

And that is Good News for those of you who are still Trusting God for Partners – Just remind Him that You said that it is not Good for a Man to be alone.

… That Man there also applies to a Woman.

II. He hates Loneliness.

In Hebrew 13:5; He said that: “I will never leave you and I will never forsake you”.

III. And He hates Barrenness.

So, if the Storm that you are having in your Marriage is Barrenness; just remind Him that I know that You hate Unfruitfulness.

In John 15: 1-2; there You say that every branch in You that doesn’t bear Fruit, You are going to tear away.

Remind Him that He said in Genesis 2:28 – Be Fruitful and Multiply.

Tell Him that: “I want to be Fruitful”.

So, if there is any Storm in your Marriage, then all you need to be sure is that He is already in before the Storm comes and He will take care of the situation.

In John 2: 1-11 – That tells us about the Wedding in Cana of Galilee. He was there because He was invited.

And when the crisis came, He took care of it.

You will Probably remembered the Testimony of one of my daughter who said that I need help.

What is the Problem?

She said that a Strange Woman had taken away my husband – I have done everything I could do but my husband finally parked out. He left me with four children and went to go and live with a woman who has five children.

I said that is no Problem – We will call on the Author of Marriage and your husband will come home begging.

Ha! She said that I’m not asking him to come and beg; I will beg him – Just let him come back.

I said let us wait and see.

So we Prayed a very Simple Prayer and said that the Almighty God will cause a Problem between her husband and the Strange Woman – A quarrel that Nobody will be able to Settle.

And that’s my Prayer for all of you who are having Problems with your Marriage – If anyone is trying to destroy your Marriage, my God will take care of the situation (Amen).

It wasn’t long after that; the two of them quarrelled (The husband and the Strange Woman); and the Strange Woman said to the Man that: Are you sure that your head is correct?

Because if your head is correct, how can you leave your four children at home and come and live with a woman with five children and none of the five children is yours?

So he said: No Problem, what you are saying is correct – My head is not correct if I did what I have done.

So, he Parked his bags and he came knocking at the door of my daughter.

And my daughter opened the door, saw him and he Prostrated saying: Please take me back.

Ha! She said you don’t need to beg – Just come in!

Every Storm in your Marriage will be Stilled Today in Jesus Name – Amen!

2. What if there are Problems with your Business? Suppose there is a Storm in your Business!

If God is in your Business, your Business cannot come down!

Why?

I. Because in 3 John 1:2; He is the One who said that I wish you above all things that you will Prosper – That is the first thing that He mentioned.

II. Psalms 35:27 tells us that He has Pleasure in the Prosperity of His Servants.

IIi. Job 36:11 says that if only you will obey and serve Him; you will spend your days in Prosperity and your Years in Pleasure.

So, if there is a Storm in your Business; remind Him that: In Luke 5: 1-7; that when there was a Storm in the Business of Peter – When he fished All Night and caught Nothing.

Lord, You came in and turned the Tides.

So, come into my Business and turn the Tides!

You will remember the Story of a Man who had a quarrel with his wife and the wife who happened to be a Very Special kind of wife told him that by the time I finished with you, you will trek in Lagos.

And the husband laughed – Can I Possibly trekked in Lagos? Because at that time, he had fourteen cars? But he didn’t know who he was dealing with.

Little by little, all the cars were gone because Contracts that he had already Executed and has been Paid for, develop all kinds of Problems and the Government says that you must repay.

When he had only one car left and fifty kobo in his Poclet, he asked himself: What do I do?

☆ If I spend this fifty kobo to eat, I will have no Money to buy Petrol. Then I will trek like my wife Prophesised.

☆ If I spend the Money in buying fuel, what will I eat?

That was the day he himself find his way to the Church in Ebute Metta (DMC NOTES: RCCG National Headquarters Parish) – And he Surrendered his Life to Jesus Christ.

The Day he was Sharing his Testimony, he was Dedicating two New Houses at the sane time.

You called Him into your Business, and your Business will not go down.

So, if your Business is going through a Storm, just remember that there is Someone called “The Prince of Peace”!

Invite Him in and He will turn the Tides around – Amen!

3. Let’s consider your Health! Suppose you are having Problems with your Health?

I am not talkimg of virus as no virus is coming near you.

Assumimg that you are sick on your own now:

I. Well remind Him that He was the One who said that: “I am the LORD that healeth thee”.

Exodus 15:26 says that if you will just obey me and hearken diligently to the Voice of the Lord your God to observe and to do all that He Commands you; He said that I will not bring the Sickness that has been brought upon the Egyptians upon you.

Because He said that I will be your Private Physician.

II. All He asked you to do is to Speak a Word!

Psalms 107:20 says that: He sent His Words and it healed them and deliver them from all their Destructions.

III. And do you know that there is something interesting that He said – And I think that I say this to those of you who are Old and you heard me sat it Years ago.

In 1 Peter 2:24; where He says that: By His Stripes you were healed.

I told you then that I read one Magazine where they said that all the Sicknesses and Diseases in the world can be Categorised into thirty nine Categories.

And Jesus Christ took forty Stripes – One Stripe for each Category of Sickness and Disease.

And I told you all that time that the Extra one Stripe was waiting for Sicknesses and Diseases yet to be discovered.

So, there is a Stripe waiting for Coronavirus or any other virus.

It has been there all these Years.

Any New Sickness or Disease that may come; the Lord had made Provisions for it.

And so, you can claim your Healings through His Stripes!

IV. He made you according to John 1:3; so that if you need Spare Parts, He can give you one.

John 9: 1-7 tells us the Story of a Man who was born Blind and He (DMC NOTES: Referring to Jesus Christ) gave him a Brand New Eyes.

So, if your Sickness and Disease has a Genetical Nature – Something you inherited from your Parents. Hey, call on the One who made you and ask Him for Spare Parts!

I don’t know how many of you were there at Rowe Park (DMC NOTES: Mobolaji Johnson Sports Centre, Rowe Park, Yaba Lagos State Nigeria) several Years ago when we had the Holy Ghost Service there.

And as I was Preaching, the Word of God came and said: Hey, there is Someone here, you used to have one Testicles but that one has been destroyed. God says that He is giving you two New ones.

And there was a Young Man there who began to shout.

What happened?

He was born with one Testicle and the Parents instead of leaving him alone with that one and let that one do the job that it could do.

They took him to an Herbalist; who in an attempt to help, destroyed the One that he has.

Funny enough, the boy still went ahead and got married with the “Obvious Result” that Nothing is going to come out of the Marriage.

And then, just as the Word of God came, all of a sudden he knew that something had happened.

When he came to my Office some Months later to share his Testimony; he said that for you to know that God has done it, if you want I will remove my Pants.

I said that there is no need because he came with his wife and the Pregnancy was Months Old – I can see the Evidence.

DMC NOTES: The Testicles, also known as Testes, are two small, oval-shaped organs that Produce Sperm and Hormone.The Testicles are covered by a sac of skin called the Scrotum. The Scrotum hangs below the Penis, between the legs. The Testicles make Sperm. They also make Testosterone, which is a Male Sex Hormone.

So, I am decreeing Today or as you read now on the Label of DMC – That all of you who needs Spare Parts, God will give it to you in Jesus Name (Amen).

4. What about Academics? Suppose you have Problems with your Academics?

I. Well, the Bible says in James 1:5 – That if anybody lacks Wisdom, they should ask God and He will give them.

II. In Daniel 2:20; the Bible made it clear that Power and Wisdom belongs to Him and He gives Wisdom to the Wise.

III. And if you go through the Scriptures, you can see that He Solve difficult Problems.

A. I mean that there was a Time some People were trying to trap Him in Matthew 22: 16-22 – And they wanted to trap Him to saying they shouldn’t Pay Taxes.

And then He said: Well, you bring me the Coin?

And they brought the Coins to Him and He says: Whose Superscription are there? They say Caesar.

He said: Render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar and render unto God what belongs to God.

The Bible says that those who came to tempt Him were amazed, left Him and went on their way.

B. In another occasion in John 8: 1-11; they tried to trap Jesus Christ again.

They caught a Woman in Adultery, brought her to Him and they said: Hey, it is written in the Law that if you catch a Woman in Adultery, you are to Stone her to Death. What do you say?

☆ If He says don’t Stone her, they will say that He is breaking the Law.

☆ If He says Stone her, they will say that but He claimed to save them.

So, He began to work on the floor and say to them: Anyone of you who has no sin, let him be the one to throw the first Stone.

And one by one, their Conscience convicted them and they all left.

When He lifted up his eyes, He said to the Woman – Where are your Accusers?

She said that they have all gone.

And He said: Well, I don’t condemn you too but go and sin no more!

So, if there is a Storm in your Academics, call on Him – He has a way of comimg through so that the Storm can be Stilled!

IV. On your own, read 1 Kings 3: 1-28.

Just after Solomon has asked God for Wisdom and God had given him the Wisdom; a Test came.

Two Harlots living together – Both of them has baby boys.

One slept on her own baby boy and he died.

And then she grabbed the other one’s baby boy when that one was Sleeping.

Now, they are the only two People in the House – There is no Human way to know which one was telling the Truth.

But God came through!

Solomon said: Bring me a Sword: Let us cut the baby boy into two – Give half to this one and give the other half to the other one.

And then the mother of the baby say: No, don’t kill my baby. Let her go with the baby. When the baby boy grows, the baby boy will know who is the mother.

And the issue was resolved!

I have told you a funny Story before:

Years ago when I was at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in the 1960’s.

By the Grace of God, I am fairly Good in Mathematics – And in Mathematics, it is either you know what you are asked to Solve or you don’t know it.

There was this Particular Subject that I was very Good in. And then I got to the Examination Hall, they gave us eight Questions to answer five Questions.

I read the first one, I couldn’t make Head or Tail out of it.

I read the second one, I read the third – By now, I was sweating.

I read through the entire eight Questions, I couldn’t even see one that I recognise – What do I do? In the meantime, all my mates were writing furiously.

In those days if you failed, they will allow you to come and resit that Paper that you failed.

Since I couldn’t recognise anything, I felt that I better go.

But as I was about to Stand Up, one Mighty Hand kept me sitting down – It is today now that I know that it is the Almighty God. And so I sat down.

After about 15 Minutes sitting down – Everybody was writing furiously and I have not written anything. I now felt: Let me read these things again.

I read the first one – I know this; it is this Fellow Formular.

I read the second one – This is this “So and So” Equation.

I read the third one and then went ahead to read all the eight Questions.

In the time left, I answered all the eight Questions!

Have you a Problem in your Academics, bring in Jesus Christ!

If He is in your boat, your boat cannot sink!

The Conclusion of the matter is Simply this: If He is not in your boat, when the Storm comes; who are you going to call upon?

A lot of People may be mocking us now – Oh, I am not sure that they are so loudly in mocking anymore.

Those who has been mocking us when we were Fasting or when we were Praying; I am not sure that they are mocking “Too Loudly” anymore.

I heard one of them the other day saying: Pastor Adeboye said that if you are a Child of God, nothing is going to happen to you. Maybe he doesn’t know that some of the People who had already died are Priests.

That’s how Stupid some People can be – Who told you that being a Priest means that you are Holy?

Have we not been hearing of Bishops who has been Molesting Children?

God knows those who are His – That is what the Bible says:

The Foundation of God Stands sure; God knows those who are His (DMC NOTES: 2 Timothy 2:19).

And it doesn’t matter what Title you bear.

You could call yourself a General Overseer; if you don’t belong to Him, if you don’t live according to His Will, when the trouble comes, He will separate between those who are Serving Him truly and those who are Pretenders.

So, if you have not given your Life to Jesus Christ, before it is too late, you better Surrender your Life to Him now

Oh, I know that there are some very Intelligent People – Intellectuals who will be saying that there is a Scientific Explanations to these things.

You know that some Biological Warfare Weapons that some Nations were Preparing escaped by Accident.

That is alright.

It is written in Proverbs 1: 24-27; the Almighty God says that because you won’t listen to me, because you won’t tell my Counsel, because you are Laughing at my Commandments; He said that I too will laugh when your Fear comes.

And He said that Time is coming when with all your Education, when you begin to tremble in Fear, He said then I will laugh.

ALTAR CALL

I appeal to those of you who are yet to Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ, do so now before it is too late.

And even then in your homes or as you are reading now on the Label of DMC; you can bow your head and cry to the Almighty God:

And ask Him to Please save your Soul and bring you into His Family.

It is only in the Family of God that there is Security in the Time of Storm.

Shall we Pray!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name for Your Words.

I want to Thank You for Technology that can allow me to reach into the Homes of Your Children at a time like this.

And I am asking Lord God Almighty that all those who will Surrender their lives to You at this moment:

Please receive them, have Mercy on them, let Your Blood wash away their sins, receive them into the Family of God and give them a Brand New Beginning.

Please Lord, in every Homes of Your Children, let there be Peace.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Now for Your Children, before I visit you again:

There will be opportunities for you to have Holy Communion in your Homes.

At the Appropriate Regular Time that we normally Celebrate it, I will come to your Home again and talk to you about what and what should be done at a Time like this.

And I will also visit you during the Monthly Victory Hour.

The Almighty God will bless you, He will keep you safe and your Testimony will be: “A Thousand fell by my Right, ten thousand by my Left but no evil will come near me” (DMC NOTES: Psalm 91:7).

So shall it be!
