Let Us Pray!
OPENING PRAYER
Ancient of Days, we just want to bless Your Holy Name for another Good Year for Your Church and Particularly for Your Women in Ministry.
Thank You very much for Preserving our lives and Thank You because this Year again, we can gather together and learn at Your Feet.
Father, Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
And this Year (2025) like never before; Please visit us and answer all our Prayers.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
I want to rejoice with you all my daughters.
I want to Thank God for God had given you another opportunity to gather together in His Presence.
I bless His Name for all He had done for you in the Past and in Particular what He will do for you this Year ((2025).
Now, I will want you to quickly turn your Bibles to:
1 Peter 1:3-5:
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His Abundant Mercy hath begotten us again unto a Lively Hope by the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
- To an Inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
- Who are kept by the Power of God through Faith unto Salvation ready to be revealed in the Last Time.
I am rejoicing with you my daughters – Number One because you are Born Again.
Because you are Born Again, that is why you have a “Lively Hope” according to the Bible Passage that we have read here (DMC NOTES: 1 Peter 1: 3-5).
Because according to Colossians 1:27 – Christ in you, is the Hope of Glory.
And as long as Christ is dwelling in you; you can be sure that your Hope will be a Glorious one.
Because you are Born Again, you can be sure that your Tomorrow will be alright!
Not only that, if you read this Passage again a little further, it talks about an Inheritance (DMC NOTES: 1 Peter 1::4) – You are Special!
The reason that you are Special is because you belong to The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Let me explain that to you so that I don’t sound Pompous or Arrogant:
You could have been Born Again in any other Gospel Church and God will still recognise your Salvation.
Now, if you ask yourself the Question:
☆ How come I ended up being in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG)?
☆ What makes that one Special?
Because The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is a Covenant Church – It is a Church that the Almighty God Himself named as you must have discovered long before now in some of the Teachings that we have heard.
It is God who wrote the name of this Church on a Blackboard and ask Someone who does not speak English to write down an English name for a Denomination.
And The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – Not The Redeemed Christian Church of any Man; not something like “Josiah Akindayomi Evangelistic Association” or something like “Adeboye World Outreach”. But The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG)
That means that there might be other Redeemed Churches but this one is a Special one:
☆ The one that belongs to God.
☆ The one that God named.
☆ The one that belongs to a Covenant Keeping God.
… That is the Church that you belong to.
And that God made a Promise that when He returns, He will meet this Church on Earth.
Congratulations my dear daughters – You belong to a Church that the Covenant Keeping God says that it doesn’t matter what may happen; at the end of the Day, there is at least one Church that He will surely meet Standing (RCCG).
… That is a Glorious Hope!
You belong to that Church where the Covenant Keeping God had made a Covenant – Not with anybody else other than Himself and the Founder!
So, many of the things that you are seeing today is Evidence that we have a “Lively Hope”.
Because one of the other things that He said to the Founder is that this Church will go round the whole world.
It sounded Unbelievable that a “Little Church” founded in Ebute Metta (Lagos State in Nigeria) of all Places, will now be in more than 190 Nations of the world and still going on.
When you talk of a “Lively Hope”; you have one!
My only Prayer for you is that God will continue to use you and keep you in this Church till the Lord will return – Amen!
Of course, it is one thing for God to make a Promise – And God is not a Man and so He won’t lie,
But it is another thing for us to allow the Promise to be fulfilled in our lives.
So, I want to encourage you because you have a very Great Hope.
I want to encourage you that you will not do anything that will cause God to say that I Change my Mind concerning you in Particular.
He can’t Change His Mind concerning His Church.
☆ But you can Change your Mind that you don’t want to stay in that Church.
☆ Or you can stay on in that Church and cause God to look at you in Particular and say: Well, in your own Particular case, even though I can’t deny Myself to my Church, well in your own case, I will make an Exception.
I Pray that what God said to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:30 – Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
I Pray that will never happen to you and that will never happen to your family – Amen!
I encourage you to keep on Winnimg Souls because as long as you keep on Winning Souls according to the Word of God; you will be Wise (DMC NOTES: Proverbs 11:30).
And if you are Wise, then according to Proverbs 3:35; you will inherit Glory.
The Almighty God will be with you and you will have a very Wonderful Convention this Year (2025) – Amen!
And the Almighty God who has brought you one way or the other into The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) will keep you here – Amen!
And you will not Backslide – Amen!
And the Promise of God for The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – The Covenant of God for The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) will be fulfilled in your Life and in the family that you belong to – Amen!
Let me Pray with you now!
CLOSNG PRAYER
And so my Father and my God, I want to Thank You most sincerely for Your Children who are Gathering again this Year to learn at Your Feet and to seek Your Face.
In this Year of Landmark Miracles, Signs and Wonders; bless the Gathering together of Your Children, Prosper them at this Meeting, Teach them Yourself and Please Uphold them till the very End.
Let it be well with them Lord.
And anytime that I hear concerning any of them; Please let it be Good News.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
