OPENING PRAYER
My Father and my God, we want to bless Your Holy Name – You are the Hope of Glory. As long as You are with us, we know that our tomorrow will be alright. And we know Lord God Almighty that You still have that Mighty Key – That Key that can open and no Man can shut.
We know Lord God Almighty that Nothing is over until you say it is over. And so we know that our tomorrow will be alright. Please, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
My Lord and my Saviour, we Pray that as Your Children gather again today; you will speak to us and the Power in Your Word will bring us Healings and Deliverance and Victory and Joy.
Father, Prove Yourself again today and we will give You all the Glory.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
Well, wave to one (1) or two (2) People and Prophesy to them that their tomorrow will be alright – Amen. And then, you may Please be seated.
We are continuing with our Series on: “GOING HIGHER – PART 78” and we are moving on to 2 Kings 1: 1-4.
And if you have been following us on this Series; you will wonder why are we jumping over 1 Kings Chapter 22 – That Chapter makes very, very Interesting reading and you can read it and enjoy the Story there.
It shows us Principally that any Prophesy that is through God; sooner or later will come to Pass. That God works in Mysterious Ways His Purpose to Perform.
But today, we want to move on to: 2 Kings 1: 1-4 – As we begin to look at what we called “The Last Days of Elijah”.
2 Kings 1:1-4:
- Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.
- And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.
- But the Angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the Messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?
- Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.
Hmmm, this Elijah Fellow? What a Great Man of God, always going to deliver some very “Strong Messages”.
The King was Sick and instead of turning to God for Healings, he decided to go to an idol and the Almighty God said: Oh, I will show you. You think that you can get your Healings from an idol? You will surely die.
A very, very “Sobriety Thought” for those of us who has made up our Minds that we want to “Go Higher” in the Lord! – May I appeal to you that whatever may happened, you should never, never, never consider looking elsewhere for Help!
Occasionally, we have heard of Great Christians – People who had been with the Lord for a long time being Advised: Don’t you think that we should consider Native Methods?
There is a Question that God asked in Jeremiah 8:22 – He said: Is there no Balm in Gilead? Are no Physicians there?
Today, I want to assure you Brothers/Sisters that whatever may be your situation(s); there is still a Balm in Gilead!
And I don’t know for whom this Particular Message is being sent to; but I believed that everyone of us will have been Climbing one Step to another; we are now at “Step 78”. Please, have the assurance that there is still Balm in Gilead.
- Doctors are wonderful, they are trained to Help when a Man is Sick. But as Human Beings, they are Limited.
Doctors are not God – We thank God for their lives, we thank God for the Abilities God has given unto them.
But you know for yourself as in the Example that we have quoted again and again in Mark 5: 25-34 – A Time will come when you have even spent all your money and instead of getting better; you may get worst. But there is still a Balm in Gilead.
Doctors are Limited – There are Operations that they don’t even have the Equipment to Perform. They don’t have a Knife sharp enough to Perform certain Operations.
They will tell you – If we go as deep as we ought to go; Particularly into your Brain or your Nervouus Systems, you will be crippled for Life. We don’t have the Ability to do more than what we have done.
But there is Someone called “The Word”. And Hebrews 4:12 says: The Word of God is Sharper than any two-Edged Swords. It can divide asunder between bones, between marrows – It can Perform any Operation.
- But not only that, there is no Injection against Failure – It has not yet been discovered.
I. In Philippians 4:13, the Bible says: I can do All things through Christ who Strentheneth me.
II. In Luke 5: 1-7, when Peter fished All-Night and caught Nothing, there is no X-Ray Machine that can explained why you fished All-Night and caught Nothing.
There is no Medicine, no Injection for Failure, but the Balm in Gilead stepped into the boat and Failure was turned to Success overnight.
DMC NOTES: An X-ray, or, much less commonly, X-radiation, is a Penetrating form of high-energy Electromagnetic radiation. Most X-rays have a wavelength ranging from 10 Picometers to 10 Nanometers, corresponding to frequencies in the range 30 Petahertz to 30 Exahertz and energies in the range 145 eV to 124 keV.
III. In John 5: 2-9; the Man who has been Sick for thirty eight (38) years said: I have failed thirty eight (38) times. But when the Balm in Gilead steps in; the Failure of thirty eight (38) years ended in a Single Day,
… There is still Balm in Gilead that can take care, that can heal Failure!
- There is no Injection against Stagnation – “MRI” cannot solve the Problems hovering on the same spot again and again for years.
DMC NOTES: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a Medical Imaging Technique used in Radiology to form Pictures of the Anatomy and the Physiological Processes of the body. MRI scanners use Strong Magnetic fields, Magnetic field gradients, and Radio waves to generate images of the organs in the body.
I. In Acts 7: 22-35; the Bible tells us that Moses was Stagnant in Madian for forty (40) years.
By the time he was forty (40) years old, he had all the Wisdoms of Egypt – That was what the Bible said. He was among the wisest People in the world. And yet, for forty (40) years, with all his Knowledge he was Stagnant in Madian.
There are People with Multiple Degrees, Highly Qualified who for years has been applying, being Interviewed, they will do well there and all they will tell them is that we will get back to you. But they never get back to them – There is no drug for that!
But there is a Balm in Gilead, who within a Day can Pay a visit to Moses. After forty (40) years, and the one who woke up looking after goats and sheeps go back to bed on his way to Egypt to become “The Deliverer” of a Whole Nation.
II. In Acts 3: 1-8; that Lame Man by the Beautiful Gate had been there for more than forty (40) years – Sitting next to the Gate of the Almighty God Stagnant.
But one Day, he woke up crippled and by Evening, he was Leaping, Jumping, Praising God and he was never Stagnant again.
I told you the Story of one son of mine – He had PhD in one of the Best Universities Abroad and came home. Every Application anybody could write, he wrote but never got a job.
The Day I saw him, because of Sufferings, he was looking almost like a Mad Man.
A Simple Prayer after he gave his Life to Jesus Christ and he got home; People have been looking for him to give him a job.
I saw him Last Year (2021) when I went A-Fishing looking Radiant and full of Joy.
I decree today that the Balm in Gilead will put to an end all Stagnation in your Life – Amen!
- There is no Injection against Sorrow, Tragedies – None at all.
Accidents do happened beyond the Controls of any Medical Doctors.
I. In 1 Kings 17: 17-24; when the son of the Widow of Zarephath died. It was a Representative of the Balm of Gilead that was in the house that put an end to her Sorrow.
II. The same Balm of Gilead showed up in Luke 7: 11-15 – When that Widow was going to bury her only son. It took the Balm of Gilead to wipe away the tears from her eyes.
There was this Story – I believed its a joke as I don’t know whether it is true or not.
They were talking and a Man said that I don’t like Doctors at all. And Someone said why not? He said that a Doctor killed my brother. Ha, how?
He said my brother was sick, he went to the Hospital, the Doctor checked him and said that there is Nothing wring and you can go home.
Then, why are you blaming the Doctors? He said that my brother died on his way home after the Doctor said no Problem.
How can that be? He said that a Motor car hit him.
Why are you blaming this on the Doctor? He said that it was the Doctor’s car that hit him on the way home.
Tragedies do happen; Accident can happen – You don’t have any Injection against that. But there is a Balm in Gilead that can forbid Sorrow, forbid Tragedies!
And in the Name that is above every other names; I decree that for the rest of your Life – No more Tragedies, no more Sorrows – Amen!
- There is no Injection against Despair and Hopelessness but there is a Balm in Gilead.
I. The Bible tells us in Genesis 18: 9-14; that Sarah was Hopeless, she was despaired of ever having a Child. But the Balm in Gilead Paid her a visit and from that Day onwards till she died, she was Laughing and her Sorrow gone. The baby she gave birth to was called Laughter.
II. In John 11: 39-44; when Jesus Christ got to the Tomb of Lazarus and said: Roll away the Stone. The Sister said that he has been buried for four (4) days, by now he is Stinking.
There is no drug that can bring Somebody who has been dead and buried four (4) days back to Life.
But when the Balm of Gilead got there, what was considered Hopeless became overturned. And you can imagine the Joy that filled the home of Lazarus that Day because the Balm of Gilead is also the Resurrection and the Life.
Are you in a Hopeless situation? There is a Balm in Gilead – That Balm in Gilead will turn your Hopelessness to Hope today in Jesus Name – Amen!
- Do you know that there is no Injection against Loneliness? No drug Someone who is lonely that can cure the Loneliness.
I. But in the Old Testament – In Psalms 121:5; the Bible says the one who is called “The Balm of Gilead” can be like your Shadow on your Right Hand to keep you Company all the time.
II. Oh, He was the One who said that I will never leave you, I will never forsake you according to Hebrews 13:5. And He is still the same today.
Are you lonely? There is a Balm of Gilead who can cure you of your Loneliness!
If your Loneliness is because you haven’t gotten a Partner and you are Due; I Pray that very soon, I will get your Wedding Invitation Card – Amen!
But do you know that there are People who could be married and yet to be lonely? It could be two (2) Strangers living in the same home!
If your Loneliness is because of a Family Problem; I Pray that the Balm in Gilead will heal your Marriage – Amen!
- The Bible tells us that there are certain Diseases, Sicknesses, Situations that are Incurable until the Balm in Gilead steps in.
I. You know the Story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5: 1-14.
Naaman had everything but he was a Leper. And it took the Balm of Gilead to take away the Leprosy.
II. In Matthew 8: 1-3; another Leper came to the Balm of Gilead and say: I know that You can heal me if You are Willing. And He said: Oh yes, I am willing.
The Balm of Gilead is still there and able to cure the Incurable!
Which brings me to One Big Question – Because when God was asking the Question: Is there no Balm in Gilead? Are there no Physician there? Then why are my daughters not Healed?
There is still a Balm in Gilead – Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever!
Then how come that some People are still sick after Prayers, after Intercessions, after Laying-On of Hands?
It could be as a result of one (1) or two (2) things which I need to Pass on to you so that you can do something about it. And before this Day is out, the Sick will become well in Jesus Name – Amen!
- It could be Lack of Faith.
Because like I have said to you again and again and again; almost everyone who got a Miracle from the Lord Jesus Christ got it by Faith.
In Matthew 7: 27-30; Jesus Christ told the Blind Men – Do you believed that I can do this? They said Yes we believed. Then He said: Be ye on to you according to your Faith.
It could be as you are saying: Lord, I believed. But you are still looking a bit to the Right, a bit to the Left. You must learn to focus on Him!
- It could be as a result of Unforgiveness.
Maybe Somebody offended you that you have not forgiven; that could be hindering your Healing!
Because in Mark 11: 23-26; the Bible made it clear – You can move Mountains on your own if you have Faith. But as you Stand to Pray, if you have hurt against anyone; settle it.
If Somebody offended you; forgive or else your Father in Heaven will not forgive you. If you are not forgiving then you are in Problem.
So, I’m appealing to those of you who has made up our Mind that we want to “Go Higher”; let’s go back to the Memory Lane – There might be Somebody that offended you years ago and the Bitterness is still deep, deep down. And you think that you have forgiven but you have not yet forgiven. You better go back and sought out the matter out.
Why should Somebody cheat you twice?
I. He offended you – That is Cheating No 1.
II. You failed to forgive and now you are dealing with a Mountain you cannot move – That is Cheating No 2.
Forgive that Fellow so that you can be Free!
- It could be as a result of you eating the Holy Communion unworthily – According to 1 Corinthians 11: 27-30.
I have said it again and again that the Holy Communion is a “Sacred Meal”, a “Dangerous Meal” – You eat it worthily, it can Heal; you eat it unworthily or eat it with sin or you eat it with Bitterness or you eat it with Unforgiveness; the Bible says you may fall sick or that you may even die.
So Please, whenever it is time for the Holy Communion, Check yourself and make sure that Nothing is amidst between you, your other Fellow Man and God!
ALTAR CALL
Of course, if you are not yet a Child of God – Isaiah 59: 1-2 made it clear that the Hand of the Lord is not Shortened that He cannot save, neither is His Ear heavy that He cannot hear but your sin, your Iniquities will separate between you and your God so that He won’t even hear when you are crying for Help.
There is only One Prayer a Sinner can Pray and God will hear and answer – Lord, have Mercy on me as I repent of my sin.
There is still a Balm in Gilead – He can heal Body, Soul, Marriage, Economy or anything.
But that is for those whose Ways are right with God.
So, if you want the Balm in Gilead to work for you today and you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ. Please, surrender your Life to Him – His Name is Jesus Christ, He is also the One called the Balm in Gilead.
Say: I want you to be effective in my Life. Please save my Soul, wipe away my sins with Your Blood and I Promise You that I will serve You forever.
And those of you who has been trying to move one Mountain or the Other and the Mountains have not moved, Check your Life too. Make sure that everything is alright and then cry to the Balm in Gilead and He will show up for you today.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, I’m thanking You for Your Words once again. And I’m committing all those who are surrendering their lives unto Your Capable Hands.
Please save their Souls, let Your Blood wipe away their sins; everything that could Stand between them and the Miracle they needed, Father put it on Your Blood, bring them into the Family of God.
And from now on, anytime they cry unto You; answer them by Fire and let them serve You till the end.
And I commit all Your Children who has heard this Message into Your Hands; Oh Great Balm in Gilead Please Prove Yourself to them today, do what no Doctors can do and let all their woes be over.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
