OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God, King of kings and Lord of lords; our Saviour, our Healer, our Deliverer, our Provider, our Help, our Joy, our Hope; our All in all. Thank You (3ce). We are here this morning just to say THANK YOU!

Thank You for Your Goodness, Thank You for Your Mercy, Thank You for what You did since we came. Thank You for what You did on Thursday, Thank You for what You did on Friday, Thank You for what You did yesterday. Thank You for everything! Accept our Worship in Jesus’ Name.

Today, even as we are Thanking You; do something EXTRA in our lives. Move us from Glory to GLORY: Just go on Saving Souls, Healing the Sick, Setting Captives Free; and let the Revival You have started in Uganda be Permanent. Bless everyone here, in Jesus’ Name. And let our blessings be permanent.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – AMEN!

Let someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

First and foremost, we want to give Glory to the Almighty God; who has made it possible for us to be here. And I want to Thank God, for everything we have been seeing since we came.

Your Excellency, the Nigerian Ambassador to Uganda, our Mama in the House: thank you for coming. God bless you! Your work in this land (of Uganda) will Glorify God.

I also want to Salute all Ministers from other Ministries who came to rejoice with us. Where God has placed you; His Glory will overshadow you there.

To all my Colleagues in the House (RCCG Pastors), most especially the set man in Uganda; we want to say: WELL DONE!

I know that it is your Convention. And I pray that the Glory of God will never cease in your midst. And the Grace to carry the Church to Higher level, God will give to you.

… For the Church of God this morning; Shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

I believe during this Convention you have been Promoted; because we are talking about “GREATER GLORY”; It is an acceleration of Glory – from Glory to GLORY.

As you leave the Convention this Year, you will receive that which you have never received from God: Additional blessings of Healings, Greater Works with God, Happiness and Joy in your homes; Prosperity in your ways, Favour with men and with God.

… So shall it be! So much that when we hear about you next: it shall be Miracles all the way – Amen.

… Glory be to GOD!

Well, since today is FATHER’S DAY; I say God bless all fathers, and bless all Fathers TO BE!

And since there can be no fathers without mothers: God bless all mothers and all Mothers TO BE!

… Ok, thank you very much for my own father’s gift (a Plaque, which Daddy lifted up for the congregation to see).

Praise the LORD!

BIBLE TEXT: LUKE 17:12-19

12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

This morning, we want to talk about: “THANKSGIVING”.

There is Worship, there is Praise, and then, there is THANKSGIVING.

WORSHIP is when you talk about God, and tell Him who He is.

When you say, Oh, You are the King of kings, You are the Lord of lords – You are Worshiping Him.

But when you begin to talk about what He has done: Oh, You are the One who made a way in the Red sea; You are the One who brought water out of the Rock; You are the One who turned bitter water sweet.

… You are PRAISING HIM!

But when you begin to talk about what He has done FOR YOU! – That is THANKSGIVING.

When you WORSHIP Him; He comes close to you. When you Worship Him, He will seek you out. As it is written in John 4:23-24; the Bible says: “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true Worshippers shall Worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth: for the Father seeketh such to Worship him.

God is a Spirit: and they that Worship Him must Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.”

… When you Worship Him, He will DRAW CLOSE!

Back home (where I come from in the Western Part of Nigeria) when there is a gathering; when there is an occasion; Musicians, as soon as they get there, they would find out the names of the people around. And when they begin to play, they would be EULOGISING these people one by one:

“… Oh, Chief so, so and so; you are this, you are that…”

And those people will stand up where they are sitting, and come to the Musician, and give him money.

… When you Worship Him, you will get something from Him.

It’s a long time, I learnt that secret.

From our Text, they knew they were lepers and were not supposed to come very close to people. So they stood afar off and said: Jesus, Master – they Worshipped Him!

Jesus, Master! They worshipped Him. So they drew His attention to them. As a result, the Worship opened the door to Glory.

Like we learnt on Friday Night (14th June 2019 during the Uganda HGS. You can check DMC Website for the Full Text of the Message); Glory is the opposite of shame.

A leper is a man carrying Shame about. But because they Worshipped Him; the Worship opens the door to Glory.

When you go through the Scriptures, you will see Worship doing those things that withheld you; as elements of Glory.

Worshipping brings HEALING.

In Mark 1:40-43; the Bible tells us about a leper: “And there came a leper to Him, beseeching Him, and kneeling down to Him, and saying unto Him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean…”

Jesus was coming down from the Mountain, a great multitude followed Him; and lo, a leper came, fell at His feet, and Worshipped Him; and he got his healing.

… Worshipping brings HEALING!

Worshipping brings DELIVERANCE.

In Mark 5:2-13; is the story of the mad man of Gadara. He knew if he died nobody will bury him. So he stationed himself in the graveyard, ready for the end. But as mad as he was, as soon as he saw Jesus Christ, and he recognised who was coming. And even though he couldn’t pray, at least he was able to WORSHIP! He came to Jesus, fell at His feet and Worshipped Him. And that very day, he got his deliverance.

… Worshiping brings DELIVERANCE.

Worshiping brings BREAKTHROUGH.

Mark 10:46-52; tells us the story of Bartimeus who was born blind. He heard that Jesus Christ was passing by. He made up his mind: “I WILL GET HIS ATTENTION”.

He got Jesus’ Attention, not just because he shouted, but because of what he was saying: “Jesus, Thou Son of David…” Worshipping!

It is because Jesus Christ heard the voice of Worship; that the Bible says, He stood still. He forsook everything else He was doing to attend to a single Worshipper.

And one thing you will notice about what happened to Bartimeus, is that: he never begged again!

… Worshipping brings BREAKTHROUGH!

Healing, Deliverance, Prosperity and Answered Prayers.

In Matthew 15:21-28; a woman came to Jesus and began to cry: eh, you have to have Mercy on me, my daughter is grievously vexed of the devil. The Bible says, Jesus didn’t answer her a word.

The Disciples came to Jesus, send this woman away, she is too noisy. Jesus said, I am not sent, but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

The woman said, I know am not of the Tribe of Israel, but you must have Mercy on my child.

Jesus Christ said, I can’t give the bread of children to dogs. She said, I agree I am a “dog”.

But then, the Bible said: she left the shouting and came and WORSHIP – Worshipped Him!

The moment she Worshipped and said; am a dog alright, but I must go home with my Miracle.

As soon as she Worshipped, the answer came.

… Worshipped would bring ANSWERS TO PRAYERS!

May I decree to somebody here today (or reading): If you need HEALING, you will get it. You need DELIVERANCE, it is already yours. You need BREAKTHROUGH, it is yours already. You need ANSWERS TO PRAYERS, receive it now; in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

That is why I have taught the older ones (years ago). I said when you PRAY, and prayer does not seem to be working; TRY WORSHIP.

… If Prayer fails, try WORSHIP!

So something happened in Nigeria years ago. There was a Wedding. After the wedding, the Bridegroom and the Bride, went into the Vestry to sign the Marriage Certificate. The husband has signed, passed the pen to the Bride. And suddenly, the husband heard somebody called his name.

… When the enemy calls you like that, and you respond, you are dead!

So he fell down from the chair, and instantly, was dead! Of course there was commotion in the Vestry. Everybody began to pray; they prayed in Tongues, they prayed with understanding. They prayed for thirty (30) minutes. The people in the congregation were still singing. They were wondering: What are they signing?

Suddenly the Lead Pastor there remembered; daddy taught us that when Prayer fails, WORSHIP GOD.

So they began to Worship God: Oh, You are the King of kings, You are the Lord of lords, the Ancient of Days. You are the Holy One of Israel.

Suddenly the fellow on the floor sneezed! And said: what am I doing on the floor? They said, when you get up, we will tell you.

Everything the devil has stolen from you, will be restored today – Amen.

… So they said: Jesus, Master – WORSHIP! And they got their Miracles.

But one (1) came back to say, THANK YOU!

And Thank You that is THANKSGIVING.

And his Healing changed to WHOLENESS! – Jesus Christ said to him: you have been Healed, but because you came back to say Thank You; I now make you WHOLE.

When we talk about Healing, it is always specific about a particular problem. If you have fever and you are Healed, that may have nothing to do with stomach ulcer, it may have nothing to do with HIV – Fever is gone! But something else may remain.

And many a times, people go to the hospital because they have (shall we say) diarrhea. And the doctors would give them drugs for diarrhea; and diarrhea is over!

Unknown to them, there might be cancer already forming, somewhere in their body.

So they are Healed, but they are not WHOLE.

When God says you are Whole; it means from the top of your head, to the sole of your feet … NO MORE PROBLEMS!

When you show Gratitude; you are moved from Glory to GREATER GLORY!

Just as you move from Prosperous to flourishing (like the examples I gave you on Friday – 14th June, 2019. You can check DMC Website for the Full Text of the Message); Solomon was Prosperous, he was able to give a thousand (1,000) Cows in one offering!

You are not a poor man, if you can donate a thousand (1,000) Cows.

… Before that time, nobody had ever offered more than seven (7) Cows at a time, for sacrifice!

So when Solomon told the Priests to begin to slaughter the Cows; after seven (7) the Priests began to look at him: what’s going on? And from seven (7) to seventy (70); from seventy (70) to hundred (100); then the people were wondering: What’s wrong with this young man?

He said: you don’t understand! I am being Grateful to God, because what He has done for me is beyond human understanding; My father (King David) was a dangerous man – an Adulterer of the worst type! He committed Adultery with my mother. My mother was an Adulteress – Adulteress of the worst type (that brought death to her husband).

Two (2) terrible people: Adulterer versus Adulteress brought me into the world. But this God picked such a wretched like me, and make him King!

I don’t understand Him; but at least I can say: THANK YOU!

There are some of you; oh, you were born great – your father, great Man. Your mother, great Woman. They never sinned before, they were “Angels!” So if one great man and a great woman produced you; eh, God should even be Grateful.

But there are people like me! I mean there was a time I was asking God: how can You love Solomon; I know the kind of man he loved.

And God asked me a question?

You see, my mother is the second (2nd) wife of my father.

He said: of all the sons of your father, I chose you (Enoch Adejare Adeboye) the last son (of a 2nd wife). And I have Promoted you.

I said: No more question, Lord; No more question!

There are some people here today (or reading); you know but for the Grace of God; you shouldn’t be where you are!

Can you lift your hands and say: THANK YOU JESUS – THANK YOU JESUS!!!

And because Solomon was THANKFUL, that is why God moved him from been Prosperous to FLOURISHING!

That is why the second time he wanted to give an offering, he was able to give twenty two thousand (22,000) Oxen and one hundred and twenty thousand (120,000) Sheep.

When you are Thankful, God will keep moving you from Glory to GLORY!

I give you one more example: and that example would have to do even with the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Study Him very well.

You will find out that it is a Glorious thing to raise the dead.

Oh, when He went to the house of Jairus – whose daughter had died. He said the girl was not dead but was only sleeping. And they laughed Him to scorn;

… You think we don’t know the difference between sleep and dead?

He drove them out, and brought the girl back to life.

The people said, well, maybe the girl didn’t die. After all He Himself said the girl was sleeping.

What is the Miracle in waking up somebody who was sleeping?

So the second time He raised the dead; He waited till the boy was dead, and they were already taking him to be buried. And then He raised the boy back to life; some people said: well, maybe the boy was in a comma. And on the way to the burial ground, fresh air blew on him. He was just about to rise up when Jesus arrived on time!

That was why when Lazarus was sick and they came to call Him, He delayed. He allowed this one to: die, buried, stinking before he arrived.

When you read John 11:31-44; even Jesus Himself, THANKED GOD!

In all the other Miracles; when He was raising the first and second ones, He didn’t even say THANK YOU. But when it came to His Greatest Glory, He started by saying: Father, I THANK YOU.

… When you show Gratitude, the Irreversible can be REVERSED!

Let me CLOSE; even as we look at the boy David:

When God needed to appoint a King in his father’s house, his father didn’t even bring him forward. He was considered a nobody – someone that can never be Promoted.

When the Man of God said, are these all the seven (7) boys you have? The father said, ah, one is remaining in the bush.

That was why the Man of God said: we will not seat down until you bring him.

So David became King!

And he knew it is God – Just GOD, not anybody else.

So the Bible says in 2 Samuel 6:14-23; when the time came for David to thank God, he DANCED with all his Might.

He didn’t behave like some of you do; some of you can’t dance because you are “BIG”.

Oh, he said, I will DANCE! Because if God didn’t help me I won’t become King. He told his wife (Michal), you know why am dancing? Am dancing for God who took the kingdom from your father (King Saul) and gave it to me (a Nobody).

He said, you haven’t even seen anything, I have just started the dancing.

… He showed his GRATITUDE!

And you know one (1) thing I like about what God did? God said David, you have been Grateful; I make you a Promise: And you will find it in 1 Chronicles 17:11-14; God said: It doesn’t matter what your children may do in life, I will not take my Mercy away from their lives.

In other words, God was saying; because you show Gratitude for what I have done for you in the past, I will make sure your Blessings will be forever.

Brethren, the Bible says in Psalms 92:1: “It is a Good Thing to give Thanks unto the LORD, and to sing Praises unto thy Name, O most High:”

This morning, am encouraging you, if you want your Healing to move on to Wholeness; you want your Deliverance to be Permanent; you want to move from Prosperous to Flourishing; and you want the Blessing of God upon your family to last Forever; you want your Prayers to be Answered; You must have a “HEART OF GRATITUDE”.

And some of you will say: What is there for me to THANK God for? What has He done for me? What has He DONE?

I have been asking Him to do this, to do that, He hasn’t done anything yet. Gratitude for what?

Then, I can relate to you. I understand what you are talking about. It has happened to me, too; The Year was ending, and in the first week of the Year (in Nigeria) we have Thanksgiving. So I was sitting down in my Prayer Room, about to prepare the Sermon.

And I said to God, please hear what I am about to say: I will prepare a Sermon, Your people will Thank You. But honesty speaking, I have nothing to THANK You for this Year that is ending.

But I will lead Your people, they will Thank You. But I just want to be honest: me, I have nothing to THANK You about!

And He replied (I wasn’t even expecting Him to reply) He said: Take an Exercise Book and your pen and begin to write; January 1st of last year, you slept. Did you wake up? January 2nd till today, you slept and woke up. Who did it? I said Lord am sorry; THANK You Lord, Thank You LORD!

You have mouth, you can still speak, you have eyes you can still see, you have ears, you can still hear, you can still wave your hands. You have legs, you can still walk; for the past one (1) Year at least I have fed you. You didn’t have to go to the streets to beg for food.

Is there anybody here this morning, that really wants to say: THANK YOU JESUS?

If you are one (1) of them let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

ALTAR CALL:

But if you are here, and you have not really known Jesus Christ, eh! I want to give you an invitation. The Bible says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good!”

You won’t know how Good He is until you have surrendered your life to Him. Come and Taste Him, and He will show you how Good He can be.

So am going to count from one (1) to five (5). If He hasn’t washed away your sins with His Blood; come and taste and you will see how Good He can be. Am going to count from one (1) to five (5); you might be the only one, don’t wait for anybody else. Just come forward, stand before me, and I will pray for your Salvation.

Am counting NOW!

The Lord is calling you; He says, Come and Taste, Come and Taste! Come and find out how Good I can be.

… The CHOICE is yours!

Thank you those of you who are clapping; Your hands will never be empty.

Oh, Thank You Jesus. Thank You Father – Amen!

Ok! those of you who have come forward, do talk to Jesus in your own language. Say Jesus I have come to taste You. Save my soul, have Mercy on me, receive me into the Family of God. Become my Saviour, become my Lord. And I will serve you for the rest of my life.

If you are coming, just make sure you are here before we pray for Salvation – God bless you!

And the rest of us shall we stretch our hands to these people, and pray for them? Pray that the One who saved our souls will save their own souls also; intercede for them.

Thank You my Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God, I want to say THANK YOU! – Thank You for Your Words and Thank You for all these Your people that have come forward to surrender their lives to You.

Please receive them, Save their souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins. Write their names in the “Book of Life”. And beginning from now, let everything change for the better for them. Any time they call on You; please answer them by Fire. And I pray that they will serve You till the end. Am praying in Your Kingdom, none of them will be missing. Thank You Father!

And am also praying that Lord God Almighty that: You move their Healing to Wholeness; move their Deliverance to Total Freedom; put an end to Poverty in their lives; use them like never before.

In ALL their lives; as they begin to Praise You, Lord Reverse the irreversible. And let their Blessings be Permanent.

Thank You my Father; in Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord! – Amen!

Now those of you who have come forward, I want to rejoice with you. Am Promising you as a Man of God, that from now on by the Special Grace of God, I will be Praying for you.

Very soon you will be receiving some Miracles you have not even asked for (you will even be surprised by some of them). Then you will know there is somebody somewhere praying for you.

That is why am going to need your names, your prayers requests as well as your address. They will compile it and give me a copy which I will take back with me to my Headquarters and I will be Praying for you.

But because you are very Special; am going to shake hands with each and everyone of you – God bless You!

Now, the rest of us, what we want to do this morning is just to THANK GOD!

Counsellors, take these people away. Move in that direction. Let us clap for Jesus as they go.

Alright! Now those of you who really believe Jesus Christ deserves a THANK YOU; you are going to Thank Him this morning. And then He will do Greater Things for you.

But you will start with WORSHIP – tell Him you know Who He is: the Almighty, the Most High, the One Who can do all Things, the One Who can Reverse the irreversible (tell Him that)!

Then you begin to THANK Him for what He has done for you;

So let us stand up. And let us do it like David did His own (with all our strength). So begin to talk to Him now:

… Oh Jesus Christ, You are the King of kings, You are the Lord of lords, You are the Ancient of Days! Go ahead begin to talk to the Almighty God. Begin to Thank Him, let Him hear your voice. He heard that of Lazarus, He heard that of Bartimeus, He heard that of the ten (10) lepers; LET HIM HEAR YOUR VOICE….
