OPENING PRAYER

Our dear Heavenly Father, we just want to Thank You for today: Thank You for the Gift of life, Thank You for Your Light that you are Shining into every dark corners in our lives, Thank You Lord for everything that You have been doing for us.

We ask Oh God that You teach us Yourself Oh God.

That everything we will learn today Oh God shall not stand against us on the day of Judgement.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

First of all, I will like to say thank you to our daddy and mummy G.O. for the opportunity.

I also like to thank the Leadership of the Pastors’ Seed Family (PSF) especially my darling husband – Leke Adeboye. I love you always – Amen.

Praise God – Hallelujah!

Our Topic today is called: “Sanctified Sexually”.

Our Bible Text is from 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

I will be readng from the New International Version (NIV) Version and it says:

9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived:p Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men

10 Nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

There is so much Perversion in our Generation now, and some of the tools that the enemy uses to lure mighty men and women, young boys and girls is the issue of Sexual Immorality.

Sometimes, it brings it to you as a subtle thought. It doesn’t necessarily come as a full intention and gradually, you see that if you don’t take control of that thought, it continues to grow deeper and leads you into Problems. The root continus to grow in your mind.

What does it mean to be Sexually Sanctified?

To be Sexually Sanctified means to be Set Apart, to use something for the original intention that it was meant for.

When you are Sanctified, you have made up your mind to live for Christ, no matter what happens, especially in the area of your Sexual life.

we have been called to separate – When we look at Mathew 5:48: “Be Perfect as your Heavenly Father is Perfect”.

If it was not Possible to live a life of Perfection, the Bible will not put it there.

So, what does Sexual Immorality means?

When you are Sexually Immoral, it means:

I. You engage in activities with yourself, with other People, within, the way that God has not ordained it.

II. You conform to things that you are not supposed to conform to.

III. You defile the way sex is meant to be Performed, and/or conducted.

People have tried to twist Sexual Immorality in a way that fits them.

You hear People saying: Well, I’m not actually having sex with anybody, I’m Pleasuring myself – I’m just Masturbating, just watching Pornography.

But you know what? – You are doing a lot of evil to your soul, because, you are the Temple. You are the Temple of the Living God.

The way that God intends for sex is that it should go with marriage, not just as a toy, not just something you can do because you feel like doing it.

When you look at Hebrews 13:4; it says: “Let Marriage be held in honour by all and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge”.

Sexual Immorality is not just when you have sex with someone you are not married to, it is all form of sexual immoral things like Masturbation, Pornography.

And People have coined it to suit theirselves.

That is not the original intention that God has for it.

I Pray that the Almighty God will give you the Grace today and even as you read it now from the Label of DMC; if you are struggling, this night to come out of it and be separate in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Now, as a Young Person myself, I speak to and counsel Young People.

One thing I noticed in general is that: Usually, when People Partake in Sexual Immorality, they say they feel a sense of weekness, a sense of bitterness. There is always something missing after they engaged in the act.

So, many homes, so many Ministries, many destinies have been ruined because of Sexual Immorality.

So, it is not someting to be taken for granted at all – It causes shame, it strips you of your Spiritual Confidence as a child of God, and until you get to that Point where you are angry in your Spirit, when you want to come out, you will find yourself still wallowing in that pit, you will find yourself still going back.

And I tell you that even as a Christian, your mind will always be a battle field.

It does not mean that as a Christian, you will still not have your Sexual urges, it would not mean that you will not feel somehow in your body, but the Bible says you would put everything under subjection, you will put yourself under control.

I Corinthians 9:27 says: “But I roughly treat my body and bring it under subjection lest that by any means when I have Preached to others, I myself become a cast away”.

This means that even Apostle Paul was talking there – A great man. How much more we that are still trying to find our feet.

You must fight, fight not to be overtaken by Sexual Immoralty.

I have heard Young People saying that: “Body no be wood now”, I’m not harming anybody, I’m just doing my own thing.

But you are harming yourself, because you are the Temple of God.

Somehow, the devil want you to believe that it is okay, that other forms of sexual immoralty is okay.

But do you know that there is no one Percent (1%) sin?

Any sin and every sin is full enough to destroy, it has the full capacity to ruin.

The Bible did not say that when sin gets to Sixty Percent (60%), it is then you are a sinner.

… Every sin is capable of ruining you.

God did not say that as a Christian, you will not have Temptation – You will have temptation, but you are the one that will make the decision to Stand.

1 Corinthians 10:12 says: “Therefore, let him that thinks he stands take heed, lest he fall”.

Stop trying to justify sin, stop trying to give excuses for your sinful behaviour – “My wife is not doing well, my husband is too busy, my Parents don’t have time for me, and this guy gives me so much attention, and it’s just the little thing he wants, so I will just give it to him”.

Your body is not a little thing, but the Temple of the Holy Spirit – It is a Place of adoration.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says: “For you are bought with a Price, therefore Glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God’s”.

You are a “god”; so you must reverence that body.

When you begin to justify sin, you fall deeper into that hole, into that pit, and that is not where God wants you to be.

When we consider the story of Joseph in Genesis 39, all that he went through and finally he got to Portiphar”s house. And the woman said: You must sleep with me.

He said to her: I can’t do this and sin against God.

How many of us can say that?

How many of us can be confronted with situation, with Pleasure, and we will say: I can’t do this and sin against God.

You should be interested in not sinning against God, the only One who can switch on and switch off your life.

When you engage in Sexual Immoralty, you lie down, you drop something, you get up, you pick up something – You find out that your Salvation is usually lost; you might feel hopeless; you might get up to pick up shame, to pick up guilt, pick up bitterness, whatever it is.

But I just want you to know that the Great Healer and Restorer is in the House and even as you read now from the DMC Label.

For as many of us that might need Deliverance; this night or even as you read now on the Label of DMC; the Lord is here to Heal and Deliver you.

Don’t let the devil deceive you that it is an honour to have Sexual Relationship with your Leaders in the Church, who are also maybe Ministers or whatever, but because they don’t know any better.

Don’t let the devil deceive you to believe that it is okay to have Sexual Relationship with People that you want to get married to, because that is not the way God intends it to be.

Hebrews 13:4 says: “Let Marriage be held in Honour by all and let the bed undefiled but fornicators and adulterers God will Judge”.

I Corinthians 6:18 says: “Flee fornication, every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he that commits fornication sin against his own body”.

Every sin upsets God anyway, so we must never find it cool, never find it comfortable to sin against God.

Why should you flee?

You should flee because your body is a Temple, it is a holy Place, it is not a Place where you do abominable things.

God cannot be associated with anything immoral.

A Temple is a Place devoted to worship – You worship God because you Value God. You value God because your body is a Temple and because you know God lives in that Temple you don’tt want to do anything to upset Him.

Your safest option is to allow God to control your mind, your thoughts, your actions, to control evetything that spills out of your mouth, everything that goes into your body; into your mind.

I am just here today to encourage you and even as you read from the DMC Label; make a decision to stand for Christ.

No matter what has brought you to this state where you feel that you are addicted to it, God is ready to heal you.

God will bring deliverance to you today in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

What to do to be Sexually Sanctified?

1. Acknowledge that Sexual Immorality is a sin.
2. Be willing to change and confess and ready to let go of that Problem or sin.
3. Ask God daily to help you to reaffirrm your decision to stay away from sin.
4. Fill your life with the Word of God, Speak in the Spirit, Worship, Pray, speak Healing to your Addiction.
5. Create Healthy boundries that can help you. Be honest with your Vulnerability.
6. Find Godly People that can assist you.

And God is our Greatest Helper and He will help you – Amen.

“Let someone say: God will help me” – “God will help me” in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Now, I want you to know that as People that has been Set Apart, we must live a Valuable life.

The devil knows how Valuable you are to the Kingdom of God, he knows what you carry, he wants to pin you down with Sexual sin, he wants you to have an excuse, to have something to nurse, to always have something to hold on to, of why you cannot fulfil what God has called you to be.

So, rather than you advancing in the Kingdom assignments, you are shying away, always looking for somewhere to hide because you feel so ashamed.

It is time to come out – We will not be Pinned down anymore – Amen.

This is a Spiritual battle and you must win.

You cannot afford to let anything distract or discourage you and it doesn’t matter how you get out of it, help is here.

Make a decision to live a Sexually Sanctified life today in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Marriage can not cure Sexual Immorality – Only God can help you.

So, today let us all step into the Liberty that Christ have made available to us.

John 3:34 says: “Whosoever the son of man sets free shall be free indeed”.
