OPENING PRAYER

The Father of all fathers; the Beginning of all Beginnings; the End of all Endings; the Helper of the Helpless; the Ancient of Days; the Unchangeable Changer; the Great Promoter; the Only Wonder Workimg God; the Controller of Destinies.

Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Thank You for what You did Last Week (DMC NOTES: During The RCCG Special Abuja HGS 2023); Thank You for what You are about to do now; and Thank You for tomorrow.

Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Father, in the Life of everyone of us; Please do something New today.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Well, let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: Brother/Sister; I really love you but when it comes to Miracle today; my own will come before yours.

And then, put your hands together.

And then you may Please be seated.

Let Somebody shout Ebenezer – Ebenezer!

Like I told you on Friday Night:

I. Ebenezer means: Thus far you have helped us.

II. Life is a Journey.

III. You are on a Particular Spot today on the Journey.

IV. And the Almighty God has helped you thus far.

V. And there is Hope for the Future.

The main Point that I want to add today and I hope that I can say it in five (5) Minutes or six (6) Minutes is that: “God always reserves the Best till the Last!

John 2: 1-12.

You see, when Samuel was saying “Hitherto, You have helped me” in 1 Samuel Chapter 7:

• That was before David defeated Goliath in 1 Samuel Chapter 17.
• That was before Esther rescued the whole Nation of Israel from Extermination. You can read the Book of Esther Chapter 1 to Chapter 11.
• That was long before Daniel Chapter 6 when the King had to say that I decree that anyone who do not tremble before the God of Israel shall be wiped out.

So, when He said: Thus far He has helped us in 1 Samuel Chapter 7 – He didn’t even know that there were bigger Problems coming.

But the Almighty God kept on showing up and solving the Problems.

So, I want to assure you – In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, your tomorrow will be Great; and your tomorrow will be Glorious.

I can give you one (1) or two (2) Examples very quickly – And you have heard it before:

1. Abraham was Great, Isaac was “Very Great”; Jacob was “Exceedingly Great”.

But Joseph rescued Practically the whole world

So, you just see the Greatness Continuing!

2. Elijah was Great but Elisha was Greater.

Elisha has a Diuble Portion of the Spirit of Elijah.

So, whether the devil likes it or not, because you are associated with “The God” of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); your Future is going to be Glorious – Amen!!

3. Without any doubt, Jesus Christ was Great.

I mean He raised Somebody who has been dead and buried for four (4) days.

And yet, He made a Promise in John 14:12 – He said that the works that I did, you shall do also and Greater Works than this shall ye do.

4. Your Parents are already Great; your Spiritual Parents in RCCG has done Marvelously well.

I think in one of the Holy Ghost Services, Pastor Leke Adeboye was telling you how we stopped over at an Island just to rest for few days. Only to discovered that The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was already there and doing very well.

I was not the one who went to start that Church, it was your father.

Information reached me that since the Last Time that I visited; the number of Parishes in that Island had increased to two (2).

But do you know that you are going to do far, far better than us?

I have come to tell you that: “The Best is yet to come!

If you don’t learn anything else apart from what Mummy had already taught you; learn “My Best is yet to come”.

When my father-in-the-Lord was alive – Anytime that there was a Great Convention, the People will say: Oh God, this Church is doing so well. What is going to happen now when this Old Man dies?

And Papa will say: Wait and see, you haven’t seen anything yet.

Today, People are already saying: Look at The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – Look at their Influence all over the world. What is going to happen when the General Overseer dies?

Ha, you haven’t seen anything yet? Where I Stopped, that is where you will begin!

And so, there is only one Conclusion – How soon you begin to Prosper in a family is determined by how soon you join that family.

I will tell you one Story and it will be time to Pray:

We were looking for an househelp and they brought a small girl to us – Just a little child of about 5 years old.

Ha, my wife said: No way! This is “Child Labour”. We asked the People that brought her to come and take the child away.

I told my wife – No ma. If you send her away, they will just take her to Somebody else.

We will adopt the child – Let the child stay, we will continue to Pay whatever they want.

So, we adopted the child, we sent the child to School – Today, the child is in the University.

Her Trajectory Changed from the Day she entered the University.

Your Trajectory will Change the Day you entered into the Family of Jesus.

Until you are Born Again, you don’t begin to Climb.

ALTAR CALL

That is why, if you are here today and you are not sure of your Salvation yet, I beg you that within the next two (2) Minutes; come and Stand infront of me here.

And I’m going to count from one (1) to ten (10) – Before I say ten (10); come and Stand before me if you want Genuine Salvation.

And so I’m counting!

Now, those of you who are already here and those on the way; let cry to the Almighty God – Tell him that I want to be a Member of Your Family.

Save my Soul Lord, forgive all my sins as I want to become a Child of the Living God.

And the rest of us, let us intercede for these People – Pray for them that the Almighty God who saved your Soul will save their own Souls also.

Thank You Father. Glory be to Your Name.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

Ancient of Days, I want to bless Your Holy Name.

I give You all the Glory, and I give You all Honour for Your Words.

And I Thank You very, very much for those who has responded – Those who say, Yes we want to be Members of Your Family.

Father, Please receive them, save their Souls, let them become “True Children” of the Living God.

Write their names in the Book of Life and from now on, let them do Your Will and Your Will alone.

And Please Lord God Almighty, I Pray that from now on, anytime they call on You; You will answer them by Fire.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Now, are you ready to Pray?

I want you to lift your voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say: Father, from now on; I will put you first in everything that I do.

Please Lord, let my Future be very, very Glorious!

Go ahead and call on the Almighty God.

Your Best is yet to come – The Almighty God is going to help you like never before!

QUESTION NO 1:

Has there ever been a Time in your Life that you doubted God, His Existence and if He has forsaken you?

DADDY GO RESPONSE

If you know where I’m coming from and now you know how far God has brought me, then you will know that it is absolutely impossible for me to doubt God.

From my Journeys thus far, I have discovered that the worst disappointment can only work out for a Greater Good.

I have learnt from my Experiences in Life that every time that I thought that I Lost; I have actually Gained!

So, I have never had any cause to doubt God and I will never have cause to doubt God.

QUESTION NO 2:

What are the Signs that you will see when God Calls you? Because some People nowadays have Called themselves even when God did not Call them. And some People has been Called by God but they are Ignoring the Call.

DADDY GO RESPONSE

• God never calls a Lazy Fellow.
• He never calls Someone who is a Failure.
• He never calls Volunteers.

When He calls, He calls those who almost automatically will say: No Lord. Please leave me alone.

Almost invariably, He calls those who think that they are already Successful, they are Succeeding and they are on the Right Path.

When He calls, you will know that He is the One Calling you.

You will know because from the Day He calls you, you will not know rest until you say: Okay Lord, I will do what You say.

Some People call themselves only because they think that workimg for God is another way of beating their Failure.

If you are a Failure before you say God calls you, you will end up a Failure.

If you are already Succeeding when He calls you, there might be a little Down-Turn to start with – Just to Prove that you have truly Surrendered and then the Upward-Turn will come.

God Called me when I went into the bush to ease myself.

So, when He calls you, the call will come unexpectedly.

And I was already doing very well – I wanted to be the Youngest Vice Chancellor in Africa.

And as Young as I was, I was already the Acting Head of Department (HOD) in a Big University.

And I told Him – God I believed that You are the One speaking but Please leave me alone.

My wife and I Fasted for fourteen (14) Days and fourteen (14) Nights so that God will Change His Mind.

… That is one Prayer that God didn’t answer.

If He has Called you and you are delaying; you are only delaying your Blessings!

When He calls you, yield!

If He has not Called you – He is not Calling you for Volunteers. Continue to serve Him to the best of your Ability.

When He calls you, you will know.

There is no better way of explaining that – I can’t tell you my own Pattern will be followed in your own case.

But when He iis the One Calling you, you will know – From the moment He starts Calling you. You will become restless until you say: Yes Lord!

QUESTION NO 3:

This is a Question that bothers on Intimacy.

Daddy, how do you do it when you are much Younger – Married, being Biological father to your Biological children, Lecturing, Pursuing Higher Degree for Greatness, being a Pastor involving in Evangelism, a Mentor to so many People and so on and so forth. Yet you enjoyed Intimacy with God.

How do you balanced it that you are not running on Empty sir?

DADDY GO RESPONSE

I learnt certain things early Particularly in my Chrustian Life:

1. I learnt that you cannot Succeed without God.

Whatever you call Success is going to end up in Failure without God.

Which leads to the fact that if you really love yourself, you must not offend God.

Joseph said: How can I do this thing and offend against God?

That is why you discovered that my Theme Song all along has been – “Be Holy”.

I have learnt that if you don’t offend God and I offend the whole world; I will Succeed!

I have learnt that if God be for us, who can be against us?

… Only one Fellow – If God be for you, only one Fellow can be against you. And that is yourself.

As long as you and God are friends, every knees will bow!

2. I have learnt that God expects you to put your family even before the Church – God first and your family next.

And that is why I made up my Mind at a time that I didn’t even know that the Almighty God is going to do all these Wonderous Things that we can see:

I will love my wife with my whole Being and with my entire Being.

Which is why you have heard me say again and again – You can do whatever you like with me; just don’t mess with my wife.

You mess with my wife, I will kill you!

And then, Loving my wife automatically translate to Loving my children and Training them in the way of the Lord.

That is why when they were very small, when this one (DMC NOTES: Daddy GO referring to Pastor Leke Adeboye) was like a “Puppy Dog” that I could carry; when I want to Go-A-Fishing, I took them along.

As we ride, I will be teaching them Yoruba Proverbs (DMC NOTES: “Owe” in Yoruba); we will crack jokes and we will be eating “Boli” together (DMC NOTES: “Boli” is roasted Plantain).

And today by the Grace of God; they are all Pastors!

3. I have learnt that the Church is the Bride of Jesus Christ and that the Church doesn’t belong to me but to God.

That if I want to Please Him, then I must treat the Church aright.

That is why – And He is my Witness; that if I Pray ten (10) Prayer Points; at least seven (7) of them will be for the Church.

That was why when He asked me: What do you want for your Birthday; my answer was that I want every Members of my Congregation to have a Miracle – That was how the RCCG Holy Ghost Service started (DMC NOTES: The RCCG Holy Ghost Service started in March 1986).

Of course, I learnt that in my Place of work, every work that I did the way it should be done; determines how much of the Salary that I earn.

So, if at the time that I should be Lecturing, I am talking on the Phone; if at the time that I should be busy Preparing for the Next Lecture, I am cracking jokes with fellow Lecturers.

That which I do not do at my Place of work; the amount out of the Salary that I earned, the Percentage that I did not work for; at the end of the Year, I won’t know how it was spent.

So, how do you handle all these situations?

I discovered that every Man has twenty four (24) Hours a Day – And so I divided the twenty four (24) Hours according to my Priorities:

Priority No 1 – My God

Priority No 2 – My Family

Priority No 3 – The Church of God

Priority No 4 – My Working Place

And so, I make sure that I never wasted a Minute.

If you really, really want to irritate me, waste my Time!

Because every moments of the Day I have allocated something to it – The one for God, the one for family, the one for the Church and when I used to Lecture, the one for my Place of work.

If the worst comes to the worst and I have to Sacrifice Time – And do you know who will get the best of the Little Time I have left; it is God!

And as soon as I give God His Own Portion of the Time, the rest of the Day is Settled!

He will see to it that what at times should take two (2) Hours among the remaining Sections, He can help me to do it in one (1) Hour.

QUESTION NO 4:

In this situation where the Prices of everything is going Up and Doubling in our Great Nation Nigeria.

The Last Option seems to be to “Japa”.

What will you say on this sir? Should we go or stay sir?

DADDY GO RESPONSE

Nothing happens without God knowing about it before the Foundation of the world.

The first Explosion of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Abroad was as a result of what happened when the Finance Houses Collapsed.

You will remembered that there was a time when there are so many Finance Houses and People were collecting Money from People.

They are not Banks but they are called Finance Houses.

And quite a few of my boys were into it.

Then the Finance Houses Collapsed and the owners of the Money began to Pursue those who collected Money from them.

So many of them ran away and when they landed where they went to, they started a Church.

We have reached a Stage in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) where God wants to move us to a Higher Level.

He needs some People Abroad – People who are highly Educated, full of the Holy Spirit; People that can go and start Churches.

Even if they don’t want to go, He will force them!

But there will be those who are Called “Mixed Multitudes” – Who are going to be Useless to God anywhere they go.

If they go, God will see to it that they are Deported – Amen!

So, before you “Japa” – Ask yourself: What is the Purpose of my “Japa”?.

DMC NOTES: “Japa”, a Yoruba slang which means “to run, flee or escape”. And it has taken root in the Minds of Young Nigerians and become something they aspire to, in hopes of a better future in a more structured System.
