Well, let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

The Choir sang a Song – They said that our God is never late and they said that He is always on Time.

GENERAL PRAYERS

1. If you believed that your Time has come, lift up your hands to the Almighty God and begin to bless Him,

Say: Lord, I want to Thank You, I want to bless Your Holy Name because my Time has come at Last.

Go ahead and bless the Almighty God!

Give Him all Glory, give Him all Honour, give Him all Adoration – Say Lord, I Thank You because my Time has come at Last.

I know that You are never late; You are always on Time and I know that my Time has come at Last.

Thank You Father!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

2. And then, you are going to Pray one more Prayer very quickly and Pray this Prayer with all your Heart.

And say: Father, if You are Blessing only two (2) People here tonight; Please let me be one of them.

Go ahead and cry to Him!

OPENING PRAYER

Father Almighty, we want to Worship You.

The All Controller God – The Controller of All Nations, Controller of every homes and Controller of every lives – We Worship You.

Thank You because the Time of Cameroon has come; the Time of this Region (DMC NOTES: RCCG Central Africa Region) has come; the Time for this City (DMC NOTES: The City is Douala – Which is the Commercial and Economic Capital of Cameroon) has come; the Time of our Homes has come and the Time of each and everyone of us has come.

Accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Tonight, do what You alone can do – Save Souls, heal the Sick, Perform Miracles, Perform Wonders and just let Your Name be Glorified.

At the end of it all, Please take all the Glory!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well, shout another Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

And then, shake hands with your Neighbour and tell him or her – Neighbour, I love you but tonight; my Miracle will be bigger than yours – Amen!

Glory be to God – God bless you and you may Please be seated!

I Thank God that after several years, it has Pleased God to bring me back to Cameroon – And I believed that God will do something Special in your Life tonight (Amen)!

Mark 10: 46-52:

46. And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his Disciples and a Great number of People, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have Mercy on me.
48. And many Charged him that he should hold his Peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have Mercy on me.
49. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
50. And he, casting away his Garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy Faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

I believed that the Miracles has started already – You can already hear the Screaming from my left.

… And you will be the Next to shout for Joy!

The Story we read to you is a Story you are fully aware of – Jesus Christ came to a City, there was a huge crowd following Him; but of all the People in the crowd, only one got a Miracle.

Tonight, at least one Person will get a Miracle – Amen!

When we say: “Let there be Light”; because you can see in the Story of Bartimaeus that he had many Problems.

But when finally he got the attention of Jesus and Jesus asked him: What do you want? His answer was: “Let there be Light”! Give me my Sight.

And the Bible says that the eyes are the Light of the body.

He (Bartimaeus) get the Light and all his Problems were solved.

In the Name of the One who sent me to Cameroon; all your Problems will end tonight – Amen!

In John 9:5; Jesus Christ said: “I Am the Light of the world”.

So, when we said: “Let there be Light”; we are actually saying: “Allow Jesus Christ to Pass by your Side”.

“Let there be Light” means you have the Ability to Prevent Light from Shinning upon you!

So, “Let there be Light” is actually an Appeal to Somebody here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC – Allow the Light of God to Shine upon you!

It could mean that: Allow Jesus Christ to Pass by your Side!

When Jesus Christ Pass by your Side, He can Change many things immediately:

1. When Jesus Christ Pass by your Side; He can Change your Night to Day!

Because the one who was blind live his whole Life in Darkness – He doesn’t know the difference between Morning, Afternoon or Evening as everything is black to him.

But the moment his eyes opened, it means his Night Changed to Day.

And I Prophesy to Somebody here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC – Your Night will Change today (Amen)

And the implication of that is this:

I. According to Psalms 30:5 – The Bible says that weeping may endure for a Night, but Joy comes in the Morning!

II. If God Changes your Night to Day, it means – “No more Sorrow for you”!

You see when you allow Jesus Christ to Pass by your Side, according to Psalms 16:11; the Bible says: In His Presence, there is the Fullness of Joy!

There are some of us here or reading now on the Label of DMC; who has never known what is called Joy, not even to talk of “Fullness of Joy”.

Oh, there are some of us – We have Joy in certain areas of our lives, but in some other areas of our lives, there is Sorrow.

But because you came tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; in the Name that is above every other name, anything that is not allowing your Joy to be Full, will disappear tonight – Amen!

2. When Jesus Christ Pass by your Side; it means that you will no longer be Begging and you will begin to Give!

It simply means that Poverty will become a Stranger to you!

You will remember the Story in 1 Kings 17: 8-16 – There was a Widow who has only one Meal left.

But then, God Paid her a visit and from one Meal left, she became Someone who was feeding the Prophet for 2½ years.

I decree to Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – Because of Tonight Meeting, you will soon become a Stranger to Poverty (Amen).

Oh you say: Can God Perform such a Miracle?

He is the Almighty and He is always on Time – When your Time comes, all you Need will be sorted out in just a Single Breakthrough!

Some of you has heard the Story before:

There was this Young Arab boy – He gave his Life to Jesus Christ in his Islamic Country and he had to run for his Life.

So he came to London without “Correct Papers” and so couldn’t get a Good job – So he got a job in a Fast Food Restaurant and the Owner Paying him anything that he wanted.

Then one day his Time came at Last – A Wealthy Arab Man came to London, he wanted to buy houses but his English was not Good.

And so whenever he sees a Good House, he will go to the Landlord: Me, House, Buy! And the Landlord will say get away from here, who told you that I wanted to sell my house?

So after going from one house to another, he was tired and hungry and he came to the Restaurant where this boy was working – He sat down and began to murmur in Arabic: Stupid People, I want to buy house but they don’t even want to sell to me.

And the boy went near to serve him and heard him speaking in Arabic and so he spoke to him in Arabic – What is the Problem sir?

And he said: Ha, you speak my Language? And you speak Englidh too? The boy said Yes!

He said that I want to buy house and I need Somebody to Interpret for me – Will you Please help me?

And the boy said: No, I can’t do that because if I loose my job here, what will I be eating?

And the Arab Man said that I will Pay you and I will Pay you very well. The boy said how much?

He said: One Million Pounds Per Day for three (3) days. The boy said, Please don’t go sir.

He went to the owner of the Restaurant: Bye bye sir.

And that one said: If you go, when you come back, I won’t give you the job again.

The boy said: I will never come back!

There is Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – You are going to say bye bye to Poverty (Amen)!

3. When Jesus Christ is Passing by your Side or when that Light is coming your way; you will suddenly cease to be a Burden and instead you will become a Blessing!

You see, when Bartimaeus was crying for Help, the reason all those People were asking him to shut up was because he has always been a Burden to them – Always begging for Money.

And they said: You mean that you are going to disturb the “Big Man of God” and you want to embarrass us again by begging?

But then, God heard him when he cried and he never begged again – He was never a Burden to anybody again.

I am decreeing to Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – You will never be a Burden again (Amen)!

• You will not be a Burden to your Family (Amen)!
• You will not be a Burden to your Church (Amen)!
• You will not be a Burden to your Nation (Amen).

But you will become a Blessing – Amen!

You know the Story in Mark 2: 1-12 – There was this Man who was carried by four People because he was Paralysed from neck downwards.

They forced their way through the roof so that they can just get him to the Light of the world.

As soon as Jesus Christ saw this boy comes through the roof, Jesus Christ took Compassion on him.

The boy was carried in but he walked out on his own – He was never a Burden again.

There was a case like that at the Redemption Camp in Nigeria.

There was this Man who was Completely Paralysed and his friends heard that Miracles were happening at the Redemption Camp and so they carried him in.

But there was a huge crowd and so by the time they arrived, the crowd was already much and Miracles were already happening.

And so his friends dropped him and said that we have brought you to the Camp, when we finished we will come back for you.

And the Man said to God – He said oh God, you see me here! They have dropped me here.

And God spoke to me that there is Someone here who said: God, you see me o! And I have seen him.

And as soon as he heard this; the Power of God came on him and suddenly he was able to Stand, he was able to Sing and he was able to Dance.

So, when the Program was over, his friends came back to where they dropped him and they couldn’t find him on the Ground.

While they were looking for him, he came from behind and tap them from.the back – Are you looking for me?

Tonight – This very Night; my God will surprise Somebody (Amen)!

By the time you are leaving this Place; even your friends won’t recognise you again – Amen!

4. And another thing that could happen when Jesus Christ is Passing by your Side or when that Light is coming your way is that any Reproach in your Life will come to an End!

You know that a Reproach is that Problem that is in your Life that People will talk more before they even talk about you!

Ask any Sunday School Child – What do you know about Bartimaeus?

And they will say: Oh, blind Bartimaeus

They are still calling him blind more than 2,000 years after he received his sight.

When People want to describe you, they look for your Problems:

• Oh, you know that Sister who should be married by now but has not yet married.
• Oh, you know that Woman who has been married 15 years ago and has no Child.
• Oh, you know that Brother who has not been Promoted for the Past 10 years.

… That is how they want to describe you.

But in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, every Reproach in your Life will disappear tonight – Amen

At least you know the Story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5: 1-14.

The Bible tells us about this Man:

• He was a Great Warrior.
• He was a Popular Man.
• He was Rich.

But then they added – But he was a Leper!

And with that “But”; they destroyed everything!

Everything in your Life that is called a Reproach; my God will wipe it away – Amen!

It has happened before and that is why I’m sure that it will happen tonight!

We had a Program at the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos State Nigeria – And the Stadium was full with People inside and outside.

And there was a Man right there at the Top of the Gallery – And he has a Big Growth (A Goitre). And there was a lady sitting by him.

And you know that if you have that kind of Problem, they will see the Goitre before they see you – So, the Sister has been looking at the Goitre with one corner eye.

Then suddenly, God spoke to me and said that there was Someone in the crowd with a Growth round his neck and that the Growth has disappeared.

And the Sister turned and suddenly see that the Man sitting next to her, the Growth has just flown away like a Bird.

She was so frightened that at the end of the Program, she trekked almost 10Km before remembering that she Parked her car at the Stadium.

You know that a Miracle is going to happen to Somebody tonight or as you read now on the Label of DMC that will frightened your Neighbour – Amen!

5. When Jesus Christ is Passing by your Side or when that Light is coming your way; your Stagnation comes to an End!

You know that Bartimaeus couldn’t move because he couldn’t see.

But the moment he received his sight, Oh he began to move.

Not only was he moving Physically; he was also moving Metaphorically – The one who used to be by the roadside became the Center of Attraction as everybody was looking at him!

I wasn’t there that Day but I’m sure that it wasn’t long after that Day that he got married because everybody wants to be close to that Man who got a Major Miracle.

Your Progress begins today and your Promotion will be Accelerated – Amen!

But you have one thing to do:

You see, in Revelation 3:20; Jesus Christ said: Behold, I Stand by the door and I knock. If you open the door to me, then I will come in unto you.

God has come all the way from Nigeria to visit you and so, it is up to you now to open the door to Him!

That is why we said: “Let there be Light!

Let the Light come into your Life – Surrender your Life to Him, open the door for Him and He will come in. And all your Problems will be over in a Single Day.

Because the Bible says: Therefore if any Man be in Christ, He is a New Creature; Old Things has Passed away, behold all Things has become New!

ALTAR CALL

So, if you have not really Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ, Please come now – Come and Stand before the Altar. Let us Pray for your Salvation.

And the moment you Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ, everything will Change!

We are not talking about going to Church but we are talking about Surrendering your Life Completely to Jesus Christ.

He knows those who are His Own and He knows those who are Pretending.

So, if you want to truly give your Life to Jesus Christ, come now – I’m going to count from one (1) to ten (10).

Before I say ten (10); if you want to give your Life to Jesus, then come!

I’m counting now!

Now, cry to God and say: Lord, save my Soul, forgive all my sins, let Your Blood wash away all my sins and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

Go ahead and Pray for just one Minute.

Thank You Father – In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed (Amen).

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You for Your Words and Thank You for these People who has come forward to receive You.

Please receive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wipe away all their sins, receive them into the Family of God and from now on, anytime they cry unto You, answer them by Fire.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

SPECIAL LET THERE BE LIGHT PRAYERS.

1. You will lift your own Light to God and say:

Father, let Your Light Shine – Let it Shine upon me, upon my Family, upon my Village, upon my Town, upon my Region and upon my Nation.

Father, Please let Your Light Shine – Go ahead and Pray!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

2. Now, you are going to Pray another Prayer and you Pray it with all your Heart boldly.

And say: In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, the Light of God is Shinning on me – Satan, take your Dirty Hands off my Family and my Nation forever!

Go ahead and cry to the Almighty God!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

TOPIC: MY MINISTRY VALUES

BIBLE TEXT: 2 TIMOTHY 3:10-11

Today I am going to do a Message about ICGC at 40. And I want to talk about, “MY MINISTRY VALUES.”

… What is important to me as a Minister of the Gospel.

And I am going to talk about: Ten (10) Important Values to me as a Pastor. I am a Pastor and it is important you get to know:

• Who your Pastor is?
• What is important to him?
• What is he hoping to achieve?
• What does he think his Life is all about?

Because it’s always good to know what the People you think are your Leaders consider Valuable to them.

I’ve put together Ten (10) Things I will be talking to you today about my Ministry Values – Not just Core Values, but things that guide me as a Minister of the Gospel and a Preacher of the Word of God.

And I hope that each one of them will get a Perspective that helps us – Amen.

My Bible Text is from 2 Timothy 3:10-11.

Just to give you a little background:

Timothy is a young Pastor who was Pastoring the Church in Ephesus. He was Paul’s Protege – Somebody that Paul was grooming and leading in Ministry. And Paul was very focused on Timothy’s Ministry and tried to help him to be a man of his own.

So, Paul wrote to Timothy as he was a Pastor and told him a few things, and also helped Timothy to know who Paul was and what he stood for. And our Bible Text today is part of Paul’s instructions to Timothy.

2 Timothy 3:10-11 (NKJV)

10 But you have carefully followed my Doctrine, manner of Life, Purpose, Faith, Longsuffering, Love, Perseverance,

11 Persecutions, Afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra — What Persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.

What I want to focus on in this Statement of Paul to Timothy is what he said about, “Doctrine, manner of Life, Purpose, Faith.”

Paul said to Timothy, you’ve observed these things about me:

• What my Doctrine is: that is what I teach.
• My manner of Life: the kind of Life I live.
• My Purpose, Faith and Love.
• And then he talks about his Longsuffering also, which Timothy has observed.

One of the difficulties we face sometimes as Pastors is that People judge all Pastors to behave the same way.

So, when they leave one Church and go to another, they think that the Pastor is like their former Pastor.

Even when they sit in the Service and they don’t see what they are expecting, somehow they still think it is so.

One of the things you learn about Life is that, People don’t experience Life as it is: they experience Life as the expect it to be.

Some times People are going through one thing, but their expectation is very different. And they focus on their expectation instead of the reality. And we live with People as we expect and not as they are.

For example, if you’ve had a bad Marriage before as a man, and marry a new wife; you somehow Project the bad habit from the Previous Marriage into the woman who has done nothing. And no matter how different she is from your Previous Partner, because the expectation is stronger than the reality; somehow in your Mind you think she is like that.

It’s the same way with a woman who goes to marry a new husband – Maybe you had a bad Marriage and the man mistreated you; somehow you bring the Projection of the past into the new.

I am going to tell you what my Values are.

And don’t try to project another Pastor’s Values on me – This is Mensa Otabil and what I stand for!

TEN (10) IMPORTANT VALUES TO ME AS A PASTOR

1. To Truly Know God as He has revealed Himself in Scriptures:

This is very important to me!

This is where everything starts: To know the God of the Bible. Not the god of my Ancestors, or the gods of my expectations and experiences. But the God of the Bible. Because the Bible is God’s Special Revelation to me, to you and to all of us.

Many times our view of God is not formed from the Bible – It is formed from Probably what we heard the Preacher say. Probably what somebody said or Probably our views of a certain Religion.

For most of us in Africa, our Ancestral Religion, in a lot of ways, determine what we think of the Living God.

But the Bible is the surest way to help us find God. And so, in my quest to know God, the Bible is central.

Not my Experiences, not my Dreams, not my Desires but what the Bible says about God – From Genesis to Revelation.

And that’s why in my Preaching, I endeavour to stay within Scriptures.

I don’t talk about certain things that have happened to me; but what the Scripture says. Because my desire is to know the God of the Bible – That’s my Number one (No. 1) Value.

… Because the God of the Bible is the True God is the Universe.

2. To Live out my Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through my Thoughts, Choices and Actions:

The Christian Life is a Life of Submission to Jesus Christ.

That means, to yield to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Early Apostles of Jesus Christ called themselves “Slaves of God” – That’s a very Powerful Statement.

In other words, when it comes to Christ, they had no choice but to obey Him.

And that is how I see my Christian Life – It is not about me trying to live the Life that Pleases me; but endeavouring to live my Life as Christ would want me to live through my Thoughts, Choices and Actions.

No matter how difficult it is to live the Christian Life, I must live it. And I must live it in my Thoughts, Choices and Actions.

It is not so much about the fanciful things – Being called a Man of God or being seen at a very high level.

But living the Christian Life; living it Personally, living it in my Marriage, in my family and among friends.

I want my wife to know me as a Christian – I don’t want my wife to first know me as a Man of God; I want her to know me first and foremost as a Christian.

Also, I want my children and friends to know me as a Christian.

And I want you to know me first, not as a Pastor, but as a Christian.

Because if I am not a good Christian, I cannot be a Pastor.

Everything I do as a Pastor is Premise on the fact that I am a Christian; and that I am a Follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.

That is a very important Value to me – To live out my Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through my Thoughts, Choices and Actions.

3. To Learn to be Sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s Presence and Promptings:

The Lord Jesus Christ Promised to be with us through the Holy Spirit after He has Physically ascended to Heaven. And the Holy Spirit lives within us, not outside of us.

And if the Holy Spirit lives within me, then He will lead me from within – He is not going to lead me from outside me.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t live in rivers. He doesn’t live in Mountains or trees – He lives inside my Heart.

And if He lives inside my Heart, then it is from inside my Heart that He is going to lead me.

That is why in seeking Guidance, I don’t go outside, I go within. Because the Holy Spirit lives within.

It is important that I commit my Life to the Holy Spirit and endeavour to sense His Leading;

• To what He is indicating to me and what He is doing.
• I don’t Presume that everything I feel comes from the Holy Spirit. I cannot Presume that.
• Neither can I put God on the line, so that if what I said doesn’t come to pass, they would say God has lied.
• Neither do I want to manipulate People into obeying me. By attaching the Holy Spirit to my statement.

Because if I come to you and tell you, “The Holy Spirit told me to tell you something…” Instantly, you feel compelled to do it. Because I said the Holy Spirit, you are not going to think, reason and you are not going to access whether what I said make sense or not.

So I don’t use such Phrases.

Instead you would hear me use Phrases like: “I sense, I think, I believe Strongly that this is so and so.”

That doesn’t mean I don’t hear from the Holy Spirit, or I don’t feel His Guidance.

But I want you to think when I speak, I want you to reason when I speak and I want you to make a Choice that is Compatible with your own Will and your Volution.

I don’t want you to feel, “I must do what has to be done because Pastor said the Holy Spirit told him.”

You must hear the Holy Spirit, you must make your own Choices and you must take your own Actions.

It is a Choice I have made; that I would use Phrases that allow People to think, to reason and to make Choices, based on a sense of Conviction – Not Manipulation and being Compelled.

… So I have learned to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s Presence and to His Promptings.

4. To Build my Life on a Firm Theological Base, rooted in Rigorous Bible Studies:

As a Preacher, I am an Expositor of the Bible – I cannot teach from a Place of ignorance. I cannot just Preach about my Experiences. I must seek to understand the Scriptures, so I can teach its Messages.

And knowing the Bible goes beyond knowing Verses of the Bible or Memorising Bible Verses; It requires extensive Study.

And I seek to understand that.

So I study extensively across the Ages of Christian Theology.

I seek to understand what Christians over the Ages have taught and Preached about.

I quote some writings of the Founders of different Christians Denominations; even from People whose Core Beliefs I do not share. Because I don’t like condemning People when I haven’t understood them.

I want to understand where I stand, where he stands and be able to make an intelligent Choice, that although I fully understand where he comes from, I don’t agree with his Conclusion. I don’t want to make rash Judgements.

So, I read about all Christian Faith – I read about the Catholic Faith, the Anglican Faith, the Presbyterian Faith. I read about Methodians, I understand where they come from. I understand what formulate their beliefs and I have the full grasp of what they teach.

But in the end, I have to also come to my own Conclusion based on my reading of the Scripture and how God has revealed Himself in Scriptures.

Although I may fully understand somebody, it doesn’t mean I fully agree with them. But I would not make a Point based on ignorance and I would not condemn somebody because of ignorance.

If I am going to take a stand, it has to be an informed stand. Because that is what God requires from each one of us.

*My Theological Base is very important – I study intensely, I think and reflect deeply, before I Preach. And in my Preaching I don’t quote too much from contemporary Christians – Not because they are wrong:

I believe my Theological Reflection goes deeper and wider historically, than just what contemporary People think.

5. To Develop an Inner Life of Prayer, Reflection and Self Examination:

This is very important to me!

Jesus frequently taught that, what manifests outside of us comes from within us.

What you have within you is critical to what you do outside – It’s called, Inner Life.

And I have endeavoured to build an Inner Life – An Inner Life is Life Inward.

It is Prayerful, Contemplative, it is Meditative.

I search my Heart, my motives and desires and it is me judging myself very deeply, soberly and sincerely.

I seek to know myself better than anyone would ever know. And I think very deeply about my world, about my Life, about my experiences.

I spend hours examining myself. And sometimes I can be a harsher judge of myself than anybody can ever judge me.

The Bible says, if you judge yourself, you will not be judged.

I am the first judge of myself – I judge myself so deeply, that I am not able to listen to myself Preaching.

People love hearing me, I am not able to hear myself.

Because every time I hear a recording of myself, I go into judging mood – And I start criticing everything I said. “Why did you say it that way? Couldn’t you have said it in another way?”

People get blessed listening to me but I don’t get blessed listening to me, because I judge myself.

My wife likes listening to my Messages but the moment I enter she has to put it off because I don’t like it.

That’s just me – It may be a crazy Part of me!

So, I consider Prayer as a part of my Inner Life.

Much as I believe in External and loud Prayer; I believe Prayer is not designed to Change God. Prayer is designed to Change me, so that I can conform to the Will of God.

There has to be an aspect of Prayer that helps me to Change from within and not just try to move the Hand of God as most of us like to do.

There are different forms of Prayer but I believe in an Inner Contemplative Transforming Prayer that Changes us.

6. To remain Called by God’s Grace that Saved me, Sustains me and Uses me to Serve God’s People:

I do not take the Grace of God for granted – I don’t!

• The Grace of God sought for me and saved me.
• The Grace of God Picked me in my Youth and Called me to serve God.
• The Grace of God helped me when I thought I was lost in my Life; and brought me to an awareness of God’s Sufficiency.

And I know myself more than anybody would ever know.

If it was left to me, my Personality and who I am; there is no way in God’s Earth that I would end up talking to People because I am not a Public Person – It is the Grace of God that enables me to Stand before People;

And I have been doing it for over forty (40) years – Talking to People.

I do that knowing this is not my Natural Disposition; it is God’s Grace. And it is His Gift of Grace that has allowed that to happen.

So I don’t take the Grace of God for granted – His Grace is what sustains me and uses me. And I am always in awe of the Grace of God.

7. To Share the Profound Truth of the Bible in a demystified Practical and Easy to Understand way:

One of the most important Characteristics that I have as a Pastor is to Preach from the Bible – It is a very difficult task.

The Bible is God’s Revelation to us.

However, the Bible was not written in our time; it was written in an older time, an older culture and it is different from the times we are now living in.

To understand what the Bible is saying, I have to carefully look at its Language, its Culture, the Timeframe, to understand God’s Timeless Truth. And after that, I must find a way to Communicate it to a Modern Generation.

So they can understand what God has said in time Past, and is saying to them now.

Because of that, when I teach the Bible I aim at demystifying the Bible and aim at Simplicity.

I don’t aim at Complexity; I don’t aim at blowing your Mind with something, because your Mind is already blown!

I aim at putting the Mind together. Because my aim is to Simplify the Profound Truth of God.

God’s Word is already Profound, and so I can’t make it anymore Profound – I have to simplify it.

And I follow after Jesus Christ who taught the Profound Truth of God in a very, very, simple way.

Somebody asked Jesus, who is my Neighbour? And you would think Jesus would say, “A Neighbour is No. 1, No. 2…”

Jesus said: a Man was going from Jerusalem to Jericho, he feel among Robbers.

Then He said, Nobody helped the Man, but a Samaritan.

And Jesus asked the Question: Who do you think is a Neighbour?

Jesus simplified Profound Truth! And that is what I do.

And by the way, I Prayed for that Gift for years – In my formative years I used to Pray for hours, “Lord help me to simplify Your Word; Lord give me the Wisdom to simplify Your Word.”

And I believe God is answering that Prayer.

8. I Endeavour to Point People towards Christ, and away from me:

This is not a Church you hear a Pastor telling Powerful Testimonies of his Exploits -;Christ is the Center of our lives as Christians. He is our Saviour, He is our Example. He is the One we imitate.

In all my Teachings, my Hope is that you’ll discover Christ and not discover Mensa Otabil.

And it’s very easy for Preachers to make themselves the focus of People’s Faith.

My desire is that your focus would be in Christ Jesus.

• He is the Word of God made flesh.
• He is the Ultimate Sacrifice for all Humanity.
• In Him is Life, in Him is our Hope.

If you have Faith in your Pastor it Profits you nothing because there’s nothing a Pastor can do for you.

But if your Faith is in Christ Jesus, He will make all things Possible for you, and He will not fail you.

That’s what my desire is: That you will discover Jesus Christ. That you will Love and serve Him. And you’ll center your Life around Him.

9. To see the Pulpit as a Sacred Place – Not to be Profaned or used for Personal Advantage:

Standing in front of People to speak to them is a Great Privilege I have.

It is a Powerful thing to have People sit in front of you, listening to you. And that Privilege is very easy to abuse.

Because, if we don’t understand the Privilege and the Grace that allows us to stand before People, we will abuse it.

The Pulpit is not about me – I don’t use the Pulpit to settle quarrels.

I come to encourage you, because Life is giving you bad stuff already.

My desire is to help you know that this God you serve is a Good God; that He can lift you up, bless and Prosper you.

I consider the Pulpit a very Sacred Desk, behind which I stand to do my job.

And although it is my Pulpit in the Church:

• It is God’s Place, and I must use it intentionally to represent Him.
• I must use words that Glorify Him,
• I must use Language that Glorifies Him.
• I must use temper that Glorifies Him: I cannot come and manifest anger and frustration on you.

Because that is not what the Pulpit is meant for.

And because I take the Pulpit seriously, I’m also very Selective about who comes to my Pulpit – They also have to be People who respect the Pulpit and don’t come and abuse it and use it in a Profaned way.

People think if a Pastor talks in a real way, He is being real. But Profanity is not being real. Profanity is Profanity!

10. To Seek to become the Kind of Leader I can look up to and would love to Work with:

God has made me a Leader of People – He has made me a Leader of my home as a father, He has made me a Pastor, a Leader of my Congregation. He has made me a General Overseer and the Senior Pastor of ICGC, with so many Pastors and Churches (in this Denomination).

That’s a very Powerful Place in Leadership.

Everytime I reflect as a father and a Leader of my home, I ask myself:

• If I was a child would I be happy to have me as a father?
• Am I the kind of father I would love to have; a father I can look up to?
• If I was not me, and I was my child, would I be the kind of father that I would look up to?

Because, growing up as a child, I didn’t have the best father.

Fathers have Weaknesses and Strengths; but my father’s Weaknesses were more than his Strength. And he didn’t set the best example in his Marriage.

As a father; he didn’t set the best example literarily about everything.

The Natural thing, you know “like father like son” – I should be like him. But I have said it many times that, when I was growing up, one of my Greatest desires was not to be like my father.

Unfortunately, I look like him – My voice is his voice; I have a voice tone like his (which I like).

But I try to move away as much as Possible, from the way he conducted his Marriage, the way he raised his children.

I’ve tried so hard to be very different. Because if I repeat that, my children will be like me, and I will be like my father.

… That is what people call Generational Curse.

Generational Curse is broken by Choice and Will; and I chose the Will to break it!

I want to be a different kind of Leader at home but I also want to be a different kind of Leader as a Pastor.

Now I have Pastors under me, I always ask:

• If I wasn’t the General Overseer and Senior Pastor of ICGC, would I want to be under a Leader like Mensa Otabil?
• Would I want to be a Pastor in ICGC?

I. My desire is to build a Church that people who are not the Ultimate Leaders still feel confident to operate in; because in that Place they find opportunities to be their best selves for God.

II. And it is my desire that People who serve under me don’t feel disadvantaged – They don’t feel that their lives have been shortchanged. That they have been denied Opportunities; that their Potentials have been sat on.

III. It is my desire that when People work under me, they would feel that they have the opportunity to be all the Lord wants them to be – If that is really what God wants them to be.

IV. I want to be the kind of Leader that I can work under.

You would normally ask yourself;

• If I wasn’t the Boss, would I work in this Company?
• If I was just a Staff, would I work in this Company?
• If I was a Pastor in ICGC, would I be happy?
• If I was a Staff in the Office, would I be happy?

The truth is, not everybody can get to the ultimate Top.

Most People are going to spend their lives working under somebody; spend their lives looking up to somebody.

So, those of us who have the Privilege of being the ones People work under, and People look up to; we have the great Opportunity to ensure that although they work under us, their lives and not under us! That they can truly become what God wants them to be.

And ultimately, that’s the kind of Leader I want to be:

• The kind of Leader I can work under.
• The kind of Leader I can serve.
• The kind of Leader I can respect.
• The kind of Leader I can look up to.

And in Summary, these are the Ten (10) Values that have guided me in my Ministry – I have not arrived, I am not Perfect by any Chance.

But I endeavour, I strive, I think, I Pray and I work so hard to be the kind of Person that I truly believe God has Called me to become – In my Morals, in my Thoughts, in my Actions, in my Beliefs, in my Relationship with People, in the way I love and care for People.

I want to be the kind of Person that People can truly look at and say, “he is a Christian” – that’s all.

The Greatest Honour I receive in Life is for somebody to say: That’s a Christian!

If I end up being called a Christian, I think I would have Succeeded in Life.

CLOSING PRAYER

Father, let the words of my mouth and the Meditations of my Heart be acceptable to You.

And as I have shared these with Your People, help each one here and all those reading now on the Label of DMC, to also develop the Values of their lives.

The things that are important to them and how they want to live their lives; and how they want to be known – As parents, as Business People, in every areas of their lives.

Help each one of us live Christ-Centered lives, Purposeful lives, Intentional lives, that we are building to Glorify You.

In Jesus’ Name – Amen.

Let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

OPENING PRAYER

Jesus we Thank You for tonight; Blessed be the Holy One of Israel.

Thank You our Father, Thank You our Teacher, Thank You our Mentor, Thank You our Deliverer, Thank You the Bishop of our Souls.

Thank You the Foundation where we build upon, Thank You the Rock upon which we Stand!

The Fountain that never runs dry; Father, we give You all the Praise.

Thank You the Living Water. We worship You. Blessed be Your Holy Name.

Thank You for Nigeria; Thank You for the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); Thank You for our fathers-in-the-Lord; Thank You for our mothers-in-the-Lord.

Blessed be Your Holy Name! We worship You!

Lord be Glorified this time once again;

Let the flesh be brought under the Subjection of the Holy Spirit and let Jesus be Glorified.

Thank You Ebenezer – Our Helper.

For in Jesus’ Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Let the Redeemed of the Lord rise to their feet and give the Lord a shout!

We are not competing but we are here to do what God would have us do.

According to His Grace bestowed upon me, I will do my Father’s Business – Hallelujah!

Already, we know the Theme: “ON EAGLES’ WINGS.”

My Bible Text is going to be taken from the Book of Deuteronomy 32:11-13

11 As an Eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

12 So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

I have carefully Studied the Scripture for some time now; and I realised there are three (3) striking animals that the Scripture used mostly to express:

• The Capacities,
• The Abilities, and
• The Potencies of God.

There are about three (3) animals that dare to define who God is:

1. The first one is the Lion:

Revelation 5:5 calls God, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

2. The Second is the Lamb:

John 1:29 talks about the Lamb of God (Jesus) which taketh away the sin of the world.

3. And then the last (in no Particular order) that I stumbled on, is the Eagle:

My Brother from the South East has explained to us what an Eagle is (DMC NOTES: Kindly read Full Text of that Message on the Label of DMC).

One Significant thing about the Eagle is its Strength:

… I’ll just give a simple definition:

An Eagle is a large and Strong bird with an effective and efficient eyesight.

It kills other birds and other animals for food.

Praise the Lord!

FIVE (5) FEATURES OF AN EAGLE

1. The Eagle is Fearless.
2. The Eagle is Tenacious.

What does it mean to be tenacious?

Unwillingness to give up – The Eagle is dogged.

3. The Eagle is a High-flyer.
4. The Eagle is Large in Wings.
5. And lastly, the Eagles is a Tender-caring animal.

Tender-loving?

One of the things that gives the Eagle Pride and makes it Stand, is its Wings.

IMPORTANCE OF THE EAGLES’ WINGS.

I. The Eagles need Wings to take care of the Eaglets.

II. The Eagle would have to engage the Services of its Wings to be a High-flyer.

III. The Eagle needs it’s Wings to be fearless and tenacious.

What Samson’s hair meant to him is exactly what Wings mean to Eagles.

An Eagle waking up without it’s Wings is synonymous with Samson who woke up to realise that there was no hair on his head.

So, this is how important the Wings are the Eagles.

The Phrase, “ON EAGLES’ WINGS” is used to describe and explain the Character and the Nature of God.

The Eagle that we are talking about today is God, not man.

The Eagle that we are talking about today is not a thing, it’s a Personality – And this Personality is God.

So, if I was Permitted by our father-in-the-Lord to rephrase the Theme, “On Eagles’ Wings” – I would say:

1. Stepping on God’s Ability.
2. Stepping on the Supernatural Capacity of God.
3. It could also mean, Divine Help.
4. Depending on God’s Ability.
5. To mount on the Solid Rock.

How do I know this?

Exodus 19:4 says, You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on Eagles’ Wings and brought you to Myself.

… This was God speaking: You yourself you saw the way I carried you.

In a literal sense, there was no Physical animal that carried the Children of Israel. Yet God said, “I carried you on Eagles’ Wings.”

God is saying here, everytime it seems like I am not there with you, I am always there with you.

• You may not see me, but I am the One actually carrying you.
• You may not see my face, but I am actually moving with you.

God was not there with them Physically; there was no animal or bird (Eagle) Present with them. Yet God said, “I bore you on Eagles’ Wings and brought you to Myself.”

I don’t know what you are going through; I don’t know the Pains you are facing; I don’t know the difficulties you are encountering; I came to encourage you that God is with you – Amen!

I say, God is carrying you – Amen.

And then you have to consider the number of People God said He carried on Eagles’ Wings; It was not just one man – A whole Nation.

What does that mean? It means the Wings of God are Strong enough to carry everyone of us with all our Problems.

• The Wings of God can carry Diabetes;
• The Wings of God can carry HIV,
• The Wings of God can carry Leprosy;
• The Wings of God can carry Pains;
• The Wings of God can carry Miscarriage, etc.

As long as you put it on the Eagle’s Wings, Healing will come in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

He says, I have carried you thus far: Why do you think that I will not carry you further?

The same God who has been carrying you since you were born to date – Who has never complained, murmured or hissed for a day;

That same God is carrying you all through your Life – Amen!

Tell your Neighbour: My God is able to carry me.

WHY MUST I STEP ON THE EAGLE’S WINGS?

People don’t know it is a must that they step on His Wings. So long as you are in this Kingdom, it is a must! Because, “For by Strength shall no man Prevail” – 1 Samuel 2:9

Why must I step on the Eagle’s Wings? Note these:

1. The High Place of God is the Deep Place of God:

If you must get there, you must mount on His Wings.

A Song Writer said:

Take me to the Place where you are, Dwelling Daily in Your Presence;
I don’t want to Worship from away,
Draw me near to where you are.

• You don’t get there by Connection;
• You don’t get there by Money;
• You don’t get there by bribing your way through;
• You don’t get there by Negotiations;

You get there, on the Eagle’s Wings!

Lift up your hands and say: Today, I will step on the Eagle’s Wings by force.

… Why must I step on the Eagle’s Wings?

2. For Divine Acceleration.

We came into Redemption City last Night from Akwa Ibom State (Southern Nigeria). That journey took us about twelve (12) hours because we came by road.

But I tell you, the man who flew in from Akwa Ibom got to Lagos (Western Nigeria) within Forty five (45) Minutes.

Do I have a Witness?

That was Divine Speed; Acceleration!

Even as the Aeroplane flew with speed, so was the speed on Passengers onboard accelerated.

Men struggle so much because they have not identified Who can make them run faster.

You are in a family where everybody is struggling; you are in a Place where it is difficult for men and women to survive. It is not as if you are not working; you are doing everything you can.

The man at the Pool of Bethesda said to Jesus in John 5:7, The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the Pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

… It is not that I have not been making any attempt but the more I tried, the more I fail.

In John 5:8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. “I came that you may fly on my Wings.”

• When you step on the Eagle’s Wings you don’t need to pay Transportation fare.
• When you step on the Eagle’s Wings there is no Checkpoint on your way.
• When you step on the Eagle’s Wings there are no Gallops of your way.

This is because you are not using the road; rather, you are in the atmosphere of impossibilities:

No one can call you to order; no one can query you, and no one can stop you!

Raise your hands up, rise to your feet and declare: I am Unstoppable!

It doesn’t matter what stopped men are women in my family, I am Unstoppable!

Because the Glory of God is upon me; and I am mounting on the Eagle’s Wings; so I will Soar!

Shout Fire – Fire!

Lest I forget: Eagles don’t just fly, they Soar.

There’s a difference between Soaring and flying – They Soar!

… The next point (after Divine Acceleration): why must I step on the Eagle’s Wings?

3. Principalities and Powers can only be brought into Obedience and Submission when you come from a High Place.

The reason you Command Demons and they don’t respond is because, your Level (Spiritually) is even lower than that of Demons.

There are some Christians whose Spiritual Levels are lower than that of Demons; because they have refused to grow – They don’t have Spiritual Structure weight.

Even Demons have fortified themselves to be better than some Christians – Which should never be!

It is only when you step into the Arena of the Supernatural; when you step on the Eagle’s Wings, and He takes you to High Places; that is when you can be able to Command Territorial Demons.

Some of you still call the Name of Jesus in the Dream, yet the Demon still slaps you.

In fact, the more you call Jesus, the more the Masquerade is Pursuing you.

The Question is: On what basis, on what Point of view, on what dimension are you calling Him?

Ephesians 6:12 says, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against Principalities, against Powers, against the Rulers of the Darkness of this age, against Spiritual Hosts of Wickedness in (where?) the Heavenly Places.

So, if you must contend with them you must step on a Higher Place – And that is the Place of God.

A Place where you’ll call one (1), twenty will come; a Place where you speak and Territories would crumble.

May God take you to that Place tonight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

I say: May God take you to such Places tonight – Amen!

I will just take two (2) more steps and then I’ll be done. Why must I step on the Eagle’s Wings?

4. Kings and Queens gather only in High Places.

You don’t find Kings and Queens just anywhere – They have Kingdoms and Palaces where they rule.

• If you are looking for a King or a Queen where do you find him or her? In the Palace!
• If you are looking for a President where do you find him? In Aso Rock or the White House.
• And if you are looking for Great Men, you go to Great Places.

This is why you must deliberately, consciously and intensionally resolve within you that this Year (2024) you must step on the Eagle’s Wings – in High Places.

Your Business, your Finances, your Marriage, your children and all your hands find to do must step on the Eagle’s Wings – in High Places.

Lift up your hands and say, Yes!

• It is in High Places you discover yourself.
• It is in High Places you matter.
• It is in High Places, your Value and your worth are Naturally Celebrated

In High Places, your little effort is Celebrated. But in Low Places, even your best effort is complained about.

• Your best is never Good enough in Low Places.

Tell your Neighbour: Step on the Eagle’s Wings!

Lastly, on why you should stop on the Eagle’s Wings, I’ll say:

5. It is in High Places that Weakness is exchanged for Strength.

Isaiah 40:31 says, But they that wait upon the LORD (what happens?) shall renew their Strength!

Some People are too weak. You don’t even understand what is going on in your Marriage. Even your Spirit Life is weak. It’s not your fault. It’s part of Persecutions and troubles of Life.

… But I would intentionally not step on the Eagle’s Wings.

They that wait upon the LORD (He used an Eagle to explain to you);

He said, your Strength shall be renew;

And you will mount up with Wings as Eagles;

HOW DO YOU STEP ON THESE WINGS?

… I’ll just give us two (2)

1. Put away Weight and Sin.

So many People are too weighty for even God to carry.

The Bible speaking in the Book of Hebrews 12:1 says:

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so Great a Cloud of Witnesses, let us lay aside every Weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

On the Eagle’s Wings there is Holiness!

The Eagle’s Wings is not contaminated – It is not just for anybody; it is for men and women who are intentional about God.

“Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us.”

• What has made your Life too heavy for God to carry?

What has made your Business too heavy for God to carry?

It is true you are paying Tithes. But the foundation of your Business, you know it is not from God.

It is true you are coming to Church; but you know you have other Altars you are still Serving.

This Service will not make sense to you, until you lay on Altar aside and put away every sin.

Say to Somebody: Put away Sin!

….Permit me to define Sin and Weight:

What is Sin? It is an act against God.

What is Weight?

They are the issues of Life – Things that trouble you; things that make you worried.

When you don’t have money in your Pocket and the Choir said you should lift up your hands and worship the Lord.

Immediately you remember that you are owing your Landlord, and you literally drop your hands.

… Those are Weights!

Weights would distract you in the Place of Worship; Weights would distract in the Place of God.

Let us put away every weight and every sin that easily beset us!

… Finally, how do I step on the Eagle’s Wings?

2. Don’t be afraid of Heights.

To some of us, the High Places we are aiming for, we are not even ready for it.

The Glory that is about to happen to us, the Bible says, it has not come to our heart, neither has it happened in our imagination.

Are you really ready for the top? Are you ready for this height?

ALTAR CALL

In the course of the Service, our Beloved father-in-the-Lord will make an Altar Call, to Surrender to God so that your Heart can be the one He would be able to carry.

Please, when that time comes, harden not your Heart.

Stand to your feet (even as I leave ) and Pray this Prayer.

… God can only carry those who are weak!

Say My Father, my Father; I am too weak to run this race alone. Carry me on Your Wings.

TOPIC: GOD – PART 5 (HIS WORKS ARE GOOD)

BIBLE TEXT: GENESIS 1: 4-5

I am doing my Series: GOD – PART 5. And today my Subtitle is: “HIS WORKS ARE GOOD.”

We’ve talked about the fact that in Genesis 1:1, God introduces us to God – It is God’s Self Himself as an Eternal Creator, He existed before creation.

• He also introduces Himself as the Omnipotent Creator: The Creator who didn’t need anybody’s help to create all things.
• Then God introduces Himself as Spirit: God is Spirit. We looked at that in Part 3.
• And in Part 4 God is His Word: The Word of God is God.

Today we are looking at how God sees His work; how He approaches His own works – His attitude towards His work, which is Good.

So, we’ll look at Genesis 1:4-5, and let us hear the reading of God’s Word:

4 And God saw the Light, that it was Good; and God divided the Light from the Darkness.

5 God called the Light Day, and the Darkness He called Night. So the Evening and the Morning were the first day.

This is the first (1st) Statement in the Bible that talks about how God sees His own work – God has created some things, but how does He see His own works?

This is the first (1st) Verse in the entire Bible, introducing us to God’s attitude towards His own Work – Is God Purposeful? Does it serve any Purpose? Is there any real reason behind things that happen to us?

These are very important Questions, because when you are in this world things happen; People say, “Life happened.” And sometimes you wonder, is there any Purpose in the things that are happening? Is there any reason why the things should happen?

… And that is what we are going to try to discover from this series.

Now, when you look through Genesis Chapter 1, there is a Pattern beginning from Verses 3, 4 and 5, that is repeated throughout the Book of Genesis Chapter 1.

In other words, God says something will happen then the thing would happen. And He would see what has happened, and He would give verdict about the thing that has happened.

And then he would define what has happened.

Sometimes He would name what has happened and locks it into a Day.

There is a Process that starts and goes through the whole of Genesis Chapter 1 – God’s verdict about what he has created that is Good.

God saw the Light that is us Good.

The Question is: WHAT DOES THE WORD ‘GOOD’ MEAN?

What is ‘Good?’

It means that something is well, something is in order, something is beautiful.

So, when He says it is Good, it is not just Good because it is Morally Good; it is Good because it is in order and it looks nice.

God looks at His Work and He says, it is Good! It is in order, it is beautiful – This is what I wanted to do.

God called His Work Good!

And the Lesson we learnt here is that: God is the Judge of His own Work.

We do not determine the Value of God’s Work – He determines what His Works mean.

Because many times we feel we are the ones who must determine whether something God has done is Good or Bad.

You go through something in Life and you determine whether it’s Good or Bad.

But the Bible says we don’t determine it – God is the Judge of his Works; I am not the judge of God’s Work.

In our Local Parlance, there is a very Popular saying that, “The one who makes the Path does not know whether it is crooked or not”.

So, the idea is that, when you are doing something, you are not the one to judge it – Somebody else must evaluate it; because the Path you are cutting may be crooked.

*May I just let you know – It doesn’t apply to God as it applies to you (Humans). It doesn’t apply to God.

We cannot say that God is cutting a Path and He doesn’t know whether it is Good or Bad: and then you are the one to go and say whether it is Good is Bad. No!

God did His Work and then He judged His Work. God is the Judge of His Work – He determines what His work means.

So when you are going through some things in Life – Maybe a Challenge or something happens and you want to pass Judgement on it; God says, “No! You don’t have a right to do that: Because if it is happening in my world, I Am the One who determines what it is”.

… In the first (1st) instance, He says that His Work is Good – God’s Work is Good.

God is a “Good God”, and His Works are Good.

WHY DOES GOD SAY HIS WORKS ARE GOOD?

1. Because, His Works are in line with His Will.

The Word ‘Good’ means that something is in order. It is exactly as it was intended to be.

So God says, “what I have done is exactly as I intended it to be – It is Good, it is in order. That is what I wanted.”

That’s a very Powerful Concept!

Because things happen in your Life you think God has made a mistake and so you ask, “why me Lord?”

And normally, when you say ‘why me Lord?’ it means, why not Him? Why should it happen to me? It shouldn’t have happened to me – Why me Lord?

But everything God does fits into His Will – It is according to His Will.

He Charges what He does, He determines whether what is happening to you is Good or not Good. He is the Judge of His Works; His Works are in line with His Will.

2. It also means that His Works are Purposeful and Pleasing to Him

God’s Work is Purposeful – He delights in His Work and He Celebrates His Work.

What you read in Genesis 1:4 is that, ” And God saw the Light, that it was Good;”

It is like somebody who has accomplished a task and after he has done the task he says, Woow! You are saying, “this thing is exactly how I wanted it to be and it looks Good; and it is Purposeful. It is doing what I want it to do.”

God’s Work is Purposeful.

There is nothing happening in your Life, as a Child of God that has no Purpose.

When you are an Unbeliever, you can say, “I don’t even know what’s going on.”

But when you are a Child of God, nothing happens in your Life that is not Purposeful – It may not seem Good, it may not feel Pleasant or it may not be what you wished would happen;

… But God never makes mistakes with His Works.

So, he looks at what He has done and He said, it a Good!

And it is interesting as you read Genesis 1:3-4, the Bible says, Then God said, “Let there be Light”; and there was Light. And God saw the Light, that it was Good; and God divided the Light from the Darkness.

But He didn’t banish the Darkness forever – It is not that Light came and Darkness disappeared, and there was no more Darkness. The Light came and Darkness also was there and He appointed Spheres for them.

• So, can God use Darkness to accomplish Good? Yes!
• Can He use Light to accomplish Good? Yes!

So, there will be some Darkness in your Life.

The fact that you are Light, does not mean Darkness would never come – Darkness would come!

Light comes, Darkness comes; but God remains the same – He is Good all the time!

If you are going through a dark Path in Life, God is Good!

God is Good in the Light as well as in the Darkness.

That’s where our Christian Faith starts – Our Christian Faith is not just Positivism.

Christianity is not Positivism – Meaning everything is okay.

*But the Bible clearly teaches us that sometimes Darkness comes – Even after God has brought Light, sometimes Darkness comes but God is constant.

He is Good in the Light, He is Good for in the Darkness.

Interestingly, if you read the Passage (Genesis 1:5) the Bible says, God called the Light Day, and the Darkness He called Night. So the Evening and the Morning were the first Day.

He called the Light ‘Good’ but He didn’t call the Darkness ‘Good’ and neither did He call it Bad. He just left the Darkness to be what it wants to be.

But the Constant there is not even the Light or the Darkness; because God overrules both the Light and the Darkness – The Constant is God:

• He is Good in the dark, He is Good in the Light.
• He is Good when you are down, He is Good when you are up.
• He is Good when everybody turns against you, He is Good when everybody is Praising you.
• He is Good when you are happy, He is Good when you are sad.
• He is Good on Pay Day, He is Good on Broke Day.

Everytime He a Good: That is why we say, “God is Good – All the time!”

It is a nice Slogan!

But when you are going through Life, it doesn’t feel that way. Because sometimes when you are going through Life, you are like, God is not Good. You say, “God, as for this one, I will mark and fail You.”

Unfortunately, He doesn’t give you the right to mark Him – He marks Himself.

And He says, whatever you are going through, He is Good. Because we see Life only from a short time. The oldest Person on this Earth at this time (I think) is about one hundred and fourteen (114) years. That’s not too old.

Even that Person, looking at Life, he or she has a hundred and fourteen (114) years Perspective. Whereas God has an Eternity Perspective.

And if you squeeze one hundred and fourteen (114) years into Eternity, it disappears!

Because, we see Life only from our Point of view and expands of our lives; we can charge things now and not know how they will be five hundred (500) years from now. And they will be a thousand years from now.

But God looks at something from now and He sees how it will be a thousand years from now; five hundred (500) years from now.

So, when He says “it is Good”, His Perspective is far wider than your Perspectives.

There are actions you are taking now, the consequences will be for a thousand years but you don’t even know;

There are People you are talking to now; and the effect that conversation is having on those People can be for a thousand years.

For you, you are just living your Life but God sees the end from the beginning – That’s why, He says, “I Am in it, it is Good!”

Somebody say: God is Good!

THREE (3) ACTONS OF GOD IN GENESIS 1:4-5.

When you look through the Passage, there are three (3) Actions of God that we are going to look at in that Passage (Genesis 1:4-5);

1. God “saw” the Light He has made.

“God saw” – What does it mean? It means God is aware of what He is doing.

You may not be aware, but He is aware of what He is doing. He saw the Light that He had made.

God does not hide from His Works – He is aware of His Works. He is Present before His Works.

… He saw the Light.

And just get this: God is aware of what He is doing in your Life – He is aware of it.

There are things that have happened in your Life – At the time they happened in my Life I thought it was the most horrible thing to ever happened in my Life; most horrible!

I would never say, God is Good – I would rather say God is wicked; He is terrible. What can come out of this?

1975 I lost my mother; 1976 I lost my father.

Of course, when you lose your Parents in one (1) year, what are you going to do?

We didn’t own the house we were in, we were tenants in the house. All kinds of trouble came!

And because we were Young and Poor, Relatives came to pick all of us – My siblings and I were scattered to Relatives.

And I was sent to my Aunt in Accra who lived in Kanda Estate. And in that Estate I found other Believers, and we started a Christian Fellowship called, “Kanda Estate Christian Fellowship.”

And out of that Kanda Estate Christian Fellowship came something called, “International Central Gospel Church (ICGC).”

Now, I cannot say God killed my mother; but if she had not died, there was no way I would live in Kanda Estate. And there was no way I could meet the People I met in Kanda Estate. And there was no way I would have started a Church!

Because, my mother would have told me, “Mensa don’t!” – She would never have encouraged me to start a Church. Never!

I can almost imagine what she would have said if I told her God has called me – She would say, “No! God hasn’t called you, be Patient.”

Was it God who killed her? I don’t know! But now I can look back and say, it was tough and it was Good because God had something in Mind that I could never ever had anticipated.

If I had to make a Choice, I would never make that Choice – Who would make a Choice to kill their mother?

So, when God does something and He says it is Good; you may not see it but God sees His Work, He is aware of His Work, He knows what He is doing. He is not crazy, He is Purposeful.

Somebody say, God knows what He is doing in my Life! I don’t know it, I don’t understand it all.

But God sees what He is doing. He is aware of it. He is not an absentminded God!

… The Second (2nd) Action is that:

2. He separated the Night from the Day.

He divided it – He set things in their rightful Place.

God is a God of order – He separated the Light from the Darkness. He brings order out of chaos. But the Light did not abolish the darkness – It didn’t!

• So, God is saying: there are moments in your Life, you are going to experience Darkness. And there are moments in your Life, you are going to experience Light.
• There are times you can’t see your way clear and there times you can see your way clear.
• There are times you can get confused and there are times you can get clarity.

But in both Seasons, God is Good!

If you are going through divorce, it’s a dark spot. You think ‘No Good can come of this.’ But God sees the end from the beginning.

He sees things and outcomes we don’t see.

He sees things far into the distance.

And He is able to Position you in Places you would never have chosen to be – Left to you, you would never choose it.

But in His Big Scheme, He needs you to do it. So He is going to contrive and create the right circumstances to Position you where He wants you to be because ‘Greater Good’ comes out of what He does in your Life.

When He says, it is Good, it is ‘Greater Good’.

It may be Good for you as an individual – It benefits only you.

God wants what He does, not just to benefit you, but to benefit ten thousand (10,000) People. And benefiting ten thousand (10,000) People is more important than benefiting one (1) Person.

In God’s Providence, He is going to Place you in a Place where you can be of more benefit to your children and grandchildren.

Some of you, what God is doing in your Life is not for you, it is for your children;

Because your children need certain impetus – And He is going to create it because of the Purpose He has for them twenty (20) years down the line. And you would never make that Choice if you were given that option.

Even if you were told the benefit of it, you won’t choose it – Thank God for His Mercy!

… God divides and sets things in their rightful Place.

The Third and final action we see in the Passage is that;

3. God called the Light Day, He called the Darkness Night.

I like the Final Declaration – He saw that the Light is Good and called it Day. And He called the Darkness Night.

… He didn’t call it evil; He called it Night!

He says, there’s going to be a Day Season and there’s going to be a Night Season – A Night Season is not necessarily an evil Season; it’s just a Night Season. A Day Season is just a Day Season.

And if you’ve lived on this Earth for a while, you know that, no matter how long the Day is, Night will come – No matter how Prolong the Day is, Night will come.

And no matter how Prolong the Night is, Day will come.

God says, the Light is just a Day, the Darkness is just a Night.

“Weeping may endure for a Night, But joy comes in the Morning” – Psalms 30:5B

Don’t throw away your Life because you are in the Night Season – The Day Season is going to come, because of the Goodness of the Lord. He can show you Mercy in the Darkness, and in the Night. He can show you Mercy in the Light, in the Day.

… God is God of both during the Day and the Night; His Works are Good!

And this is how the Apostle Paul reflects on what Genesis 1:3-5 means to Believers. This how he puts it in 2 Corinthians 4: 6-9:

For it is the God who commanded Light to Shine out of Darkness, who has shone in our Hearts to give the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this Treasure in Earthen Vessels, that the Excellence of the Power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are Perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

He is drawing it in the New Testament Era, how we see what God did n Genesis 1:3-5; Then God said, “Let there be Light”; and there was Light. And God saw the Light, that it was Good; and God divided the Light from the Darkness. God called the Light Day, and the Darkness He called Night. So the Evening and the Morning were the first Day.

What is Apostle Paul saying? He is saying, the same God who said, let there be Light, and there was Light, is the same God who said let there be Light in our Hearts.

When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, He brings Light into the Darkness of our Hearts.

*If you are a Child of God and you are Born Again, you have received God’s Light in your Life; and He says, because of that, we are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are Perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

*The intended Purpose of what is happening to us doesn’t happen – In other words, we got a big blow from Mike Tyson; we were strucked down. But when we went down in the Boxing Ring and Probably for a moment, we were counted out!

But have you noticed that People who were counted out in a Boxing Ring don’t die? They get up and continue living.

It’s not as if when they count one (1) to ten (10) – Knock out!

For your Life you are knocked out – No! You can get up after that, go and continue with your Life.

Apostle Paul says we are strucked down but we are not destroyed. Why? Because the same God who said let there be Light, has given us Light in our Heart.

If you are a Born Again Believer, you have the Light of God inside you. And because of that, you cannot lose in the battle of Life.

Because of that, you will never fail in the battle of Life.

Even when People think you have failed, God will find a way to turn your Failure into Success – Amen.

You can have somebody who Probably doesn’t have a child and may never have Biological children. But who has influenced and trained somebody – A Nephew, a Niece, a child from the Children Church, a Student, etc

And that Person they have trained and influenced would Probably be the most influential Person fifty (50) years from now. And Probably, if they had children, they would never have taken care of that Person.

God has a way of turning your Darkness into Purpose.

And this Morning, we want to trust Him with our lives: that He knows what He is doing, and He is aware of what He is doing.

Please, let’s get up on our feet – We are going to Pray shortly before we close.

PRAYERS

1. Lift up your hands to God and Thank Him for your Life.

Thank Him for the Darkness, Thank Him for the Night Seasons.

Thank Him for things you don’t understand – Things you are going through that doesn’t make sense to you.

Thank Him that He is working out His Purposes, He is bringing beauty out of it.

He says you are in the Night, but He would bring you out of it.

Romans 8:2 says, And we know that all things work together for Good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His Purpose.

Lift up your hands and Thank Him for your Life – Thank You Lord!

2. Ask the Lord to help you to see and Understand His Purposes for your Life.

Tell Him: I am not a Mistake, I am not a disgrace, I am not a failure – You are working Your Purposes for my Life.

In Your Scheme of Things, I fit on well. I am not a misfit; I fit into God’s Plans, into God’s Purposes.

Thank You Lord!

CLOSING PRAYER

Father, Thank You that You see what You have made and You call it Good.

You see us, You made us in Your Image; Patterned after Christ Jesus, with the Light of Christ and You say, it is Good.

We declare Lord, that You are Good; Your Works are Good, and our Experiences are Good.

And You are Working out Good in our lives – It’s all working together for Your Purposes.

You are bringing it together that we may experience the Fullness of Your Purpose and Plans for our lives.

And help us always to keep this Perspectives, that Your Works are Good.

In Jesus’ Name – Amen.

TOPIC: GOD – PART 4 (THE WORD OF GOD)

BIBLE TEXT: GENESIS 1:3

I continue with my Series: GOD – PART 4. Today my Subtitle is, “THE WORD OF GOD.”

Genesis 1:1introduces us to God – It is God’s Self Introduction.

What we see happening in that Chapter of Genesis is He saying, “This is Who I AM.”

• So far in Genesis 1:1 we discovered that God is the Creator.

And not only is He the Creator;

• He is an Omnipotent Creator – Because He created without anybody’s help. He did all things by Himself, He has all the Power to create.
• We also discovered that God existed before Creation – So He is Eternal and He is Infinite.

That is the Nature of God.

And in Genesis 1:2, we discovered that God is not only the Creator who is Infinite and who is Omnipotent and created all things; He is Spirit.

• A Spirit is not matter, and is not material.
• A Spirit does not have Atomic Composting.
• A Spirit is a totally different kind of Entity:

And God is Spirit.

If you pay attention to what we are learning so far, you’ll find the Foundations of Major Christian Doctrines in the very first Verses of Genesis – God the Creator, God as Spirit, God as the Word.

And these are things that would later come up in the Bible eventually, in the New Testament, developing such Profound Theological Position of the Trinity.

Today we are going to Genesis 1:3 (NKJV) – Then God said, “Let there be Light”; and there was Light.

Usually, when I read that, I tell People, “Tell your neighbour, it is not your Uncle who said it.”

This is the Third (3rd) Picture of God we see in Genesis Chapter 1;

• The first (1st) Picture: He is a Creator.
• Second (2nd) Picture: He is a Spirit.
• The Third (3rd) Picture: He is Word.

And so we see the Word of God here, “Let there be Light” – and there was Light!

We find that Phrase “God said” – Although word is not used, ‘said’ there implies word. It means, to have will or intend to utter a word. God had a will, a Purpose, and intention; and He spoke it.

When we are talking about God speaking, it’s not just words that originate from His mouth or from His tongue; but words that come from Himself, from His intention – His will and His Purpose.

The Word of God has roots in God.

In Genesis Chapter 1, many times you find that Phrase “God said” – about eight (8) times.

In all the levels of Creation God speaks and He acts – The Word of God and then the acts of God.

When we say that something has been said, it implies that a word has been spoken.

When God said, “let there be Light” He released words.

It is very important! Because, from Genesis 1:3, we realised that God transmits His Will through His Word. And His Word Performs His work.

… His Will, His Word, His Work – It is Will that Produces the Word and it is the Word that Produces the Work.

So, if I want to see the Work of God, I must receive the Word of God. And the Word of God must come from the Will of God.

You cannot see the Word of God in a vacuum. You cannot just say: Oh! I want to see the work of God; I want to see the Power of God, I don’t have time for the Word. Or I have time for the Word, but I don’t care about God’s Will.

His Will Produces Word; His Word Produces Work – That’s the Trinity right there in Genesis 1:3: “The Will, the Word, the Work!”

That’s the sequence – God has a Will.

We know His Will because He speaks His Word. And when He speaks His Word, He does His Work.

That’s the way God works.

And when we master these concepts, it helps us to receive from God. He transmits His Will through His Word.

The Apostle John, in the New Testament captures this Magnificent Truth in John 2:3 – The first Chapter of John is a reflection of Genesis Chapter 1.

John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth.

This is the Foundation of Christianity – The Word is God.

The Word did not just come from God, the Word does not just represent God, the Word does not just carry God’s idea – The Word is God.

And John develops that to the Point where He talks about the Word becoming flesh, and we know Him as Jesus the incarnate.

The Word is God – That is the big difference between Christianity and every other Religions.

Jesus is not just a Good Teacher, He is not just a Prophet, He is not just a Religious Leader; He is the Word of God. And the Word is God.

The Word became flesh. Right there in Genesis 1 and John 1; we are encountering the Word of God.

The Word is God, so we can say that God and His Word are one.

It is a Fundamental Doctrines of Christianity – The Word is God!

What does that mean? It means that God reveals Himself through His Word.

We know God because He has made Himself known.

How has He made Himself known?

Through His Word – His Word reveals Him.

If you have a Christian who devalues the Word of God, they are devaluing God’s Revelation of Himself.

Unfortunately, we are in an era where there are Preachers who don’t have any respect for the Word of God.

They believe that the Prophecy they deliver is more important than the Word of God that God had revealed about Himself.

And unfortunately, there are Christians who believe that the Prophet’s word, it a Man of God’s word, or a Pastor’s word is more important than the revealed Word of God.

You cannot know God outside of His “Revealed Word” – At least the God of the Bible.

You may know other gods; but not the God of the Bible – The God of the Bible is known in the Bible. He reveals Himself through His Word.

Certainly, He works through His Word – “Faith comes through His Word.”

Everything God does, He does through His Word.

God is desiring to touch the Earth – The Bible says in Genesis 1:2, And the Earth was without form, and void; and Darkness was upon the face of the deep.

And He wants to reformat the Earth so it can move from Unproductive to Productive.

And how does He do it? He doesn’t just move things in the Earth; the first thing He does is speak.

Guess what? If God wants to solve a Problem in your Life, how do you think He is going to solve it?

You hear People say, “we want to see the Power of God; we want to see the Hand of God; we want to see the Work of God.

That’s true. But how are you going to see it? Though His Word!

If you don’t get the Word, you will not get the Works: if you devalue the Word, you devalue the Works in your Life.

So, God Speaks!

And of course, when we say ‘God said let there be Light”; sometimes the logical Question you will ask is: “What Language did God speak?”

The Bible is written in Hebrew; so was He speaking in Hebrew?

Well, at that time Hebrew has not been invented as a Language – No man had been created then, to even speak.

So God Spoke!

The Words He spoke would not be a Human Language, but He spoke.

Because speaking is not always in the form of an audible Human Language. You can speak without Speaking – It’s Possible.

For example, if you have a Television Set – I remembered when the first Televisions came to Ghana. If you want to make the Television work, you have to go to it; you want to turn the Volume, you go to the Television and turn on the Volume. You want to change Channels, you go to the Television to change the Channel.

In those days we had to hit the Television set for Picture Quality and Clarity.

That was our Language to the Television back then. And then something happened, called Remote Control.

And when you use the Remote Control, you stand somewhere and the Remote Control speaks to the Television.

What Language is it speaking? It is speaking a Coded Language of numbers through infra Red.

It speaks to the Television Set and the Channel changes, the Volumes goes up or down. And all the things you used to do by Physically touching the Television, are now being done remotely. Because a coded information is Passed to the Television, it responses to the Language coming from the Remote Control.

I can understand when the Bible says, “And God said”. I believe God released a Coded informational; Coded with His Will, His Purpose, into the Atmosphere.

God can speak into your Life without you hearing audible voice – God and His Word are one; God works through His Word.

… Let’s go a little further:

WHAT DID GOD SAY?

He said, “Let there be Light.” Which also means, ‘Let light be!’

He calls the things that be not as though they were.

He doesn’t Plead with a thing, He speaks it and it is.

Light be!

That’s the first lesson we learn about the word of God.

Of course, we know the Creation itself was spoken by the Word – The Word of God Produces Light.

The Word of God does not Produce Darkness, it Produces Light – Light be!

In Genesis 1, this is the first time we are leaning about God from the Bible. And it is telling how God works, what does what.

It is telling us that the essential nature of the Word of God is to Produce Light.

In John 1:5, the Bible says, And the Light Shines in the Darkness, and the Darkness did not Comprehend it.

If there is Darkness in a Place and God wants to dispel the Darkness, guess what He is going to do? He is going to send His Word.

His Word would Produce Light and the Darkness cannot resist the Light – That’s how God works.

If there is Darkness in my Life, in my family, anywhere around me; and God wants to deal with the Darkness because I want Light, or even before I Pray without diminishing the Power of Prayer because we need to Fast and Pray.

But we also need to learn God’s Processes well.

So if He wants to dispel Darkness, what is He going to do? He is going to speak a Word into the situation and that Word would Produce the necessary Light to dispel that Particular Darkness.

WHAT DOES LIGHT REPRESENT?

Three (3) Things that Light represents:

1. Light Represents Illumination:

It simply means, making things clear.

Light dispels darkness, light brings about illumination.

When we find ourselves surrounded by Darkness, understanding God’s Word enlightens us.

The Darkness that the Bible talks about can be Physical Darkness or Metaphysis Darkness.

And when we say something is Physical Darkness, this is when we turn off all the Light, then we’ll have Physical Darkness.

When you say it is Metaphysical, it can be Spiritual. That means Darkness that is not of a Physical Source and it can come in different forms;

• It can come through Demonic Activities;
• It can come through Ignorance;
• It can come through all kinds of things.

But it is Darkness! And its Source is not Physical.

Whether the Source of the Darkness is Physical or Metaphysical; the Light of God would disperse it – Amen.

And no matter how Gross the Darkness is, the Word of God would disperse it – Amen.

Illumination! The Word of God Producing Light make things clear.

Staying under the Word of God and the Light of God brings Deliverance.

I understand that there is are Deliverance Ministries People are used to but the Greatest Deliverance comes from the Word of God entering a Person and dispelling every Darkness.

Whether it is Ancestral Darkness, Demonic Darkness, Witchcraft Darkness, Mammy Water Darkness; the Light of the Word of God will dispel it – Amen.

And sometimes all you need to do is to get the Word of God deep inside of you, and every deep Darkness will be evicted.

… The Light of the Word of God dispels Darkness.

That is what God did in Genesis Chapter 1 – He is telling us, if you have Darkness, get the worse. Let the Word Produce Light and the Darkness does not comprehend it.

Just coming to Church and hearing the Word of God beign rightly taught and rightly delivered, will bring Deliverance.

Some of you have no idea of the kind of Deliverance taking Place in your Spirit.

In your Mind, you are going to find out all kinds of things that were harassing your Life just dispersed: simply because the Light of the Word of God has come into the Darkness.

Don’t ever underestimate the Power of the “Written Word” of God – Don’t confine it to a Low Level, because Satan’s number one job is to make you doubt that the Word of God is real.

That’s what he did to Adam and Eve. That’s what he is going to tell you – That all you need is the teaching of the Word of God.

But If you believe what God says, it will dispel Darkness.

Whether it is Physical or Metaphysical, whether Demonic or Social, Cultural or Ignorance; it will dispel it – Amen.

Sitting under the Word of God dispels Darkness. That is why you need to find a Church where the Word of God is Properly taught. Because just by exposing your Mind to the Intelligence of God, it dispels all forms of Darkness.

You are being Changed gradually without you knowing it that you are being Changed – The Word of God brings Illumination!

2. Light brings Information:

It tells us something: when we receive God’s Word – We receive Information about the things He wants us to know.

And it is that Information that Produces Transformation.

The Earth’s Transformation – From a Non-Productive ball to a Productive ball that could sustain Life was accomplished through the Word of God.

Value the Word of God; it will give you Information that would Transform you – Information Transforms!

• It would Transform you from a small Faithing Person to a Big Faithing Person.
• It would Transform you from a Timid Oppressed Person to a Liberated Free Person.
• It would Transform you from a Person running away from Demons to a Person who is chasing Demons.
• It would Transform you from a Person afraid of Witches to one who walks into the Territories of Witches and Wizards, shakes their hands for them to fall.

Because, when you have His Word inside you – People say, when you go to the Village don’t drink water (maybe the water is Polluted).

But if you are telling me that Demonic Forces have Possessed the water, I will drink the water. Because if I listen and do not drink, I am saying, ‘greater is he who is there than He Who is inside of me.’

If I believe the Greater One is in me I would drink the water.

How do I know? Where is my Confidence? It is not in my Anointing, it is not because I am a Pastor:

It is because I know the “Sure Word” of God – It has fortified me. The Word had “Cooked” me; and I am ‘Cooked’ in the Word of God.

The Word of God is inside of me, it is outside of me, it is in my Mind, it is in my Heart, it is in my world!

When you have the Word of God in you, you will walk like a Champion.

Wherever you go, you know that “Greater is He who is in me.”

You’ll walk on serpents and scorpions, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Because the Word of God has impregnated your Mind – The Word of God brings Information.

… And finally,

3. Light brings Instruction to us:

It gives us direction; it is our Instruction Manual – The Manufacturer’s Manual on how we should run our lives.

When God said, let there be Light, He instructed Light to appear and there was Light.

God’s Word is instruction – When you buy any item, like Speakers, Microphones, already made branded Clothes (except it’s a wayside clothes); they all come with instructions – How to wash it, what kind of washing cycle you should use.

Anything Properly manufactured must have an instruction manual, to show us how to Properly manage and use that thing.

If you are Properly made by God, you have an Instruction Manual – It’s called “The Bible”.

And that Instruction Manual tells you what to say, what not to say. How to say, how not to say. How to see things, what not to see. What to look at, what not to look at.

And it says, “if you do these things, you will be above only and will not be beneath.”

The Christian Life is not a Magical Life; it is a Life of Illumination, Information and Instruction.

It is an Intelligent Life designed by God for His Greatest Creation to live successfully in the Planet He has made for that Person.

You don’t go out living your Life anyhow, saying, “I believe it will be well.”

Yes, it is good to believe it would be well but on what basis? Where is the Manual? Have you read the Manual about how you should think?

It tells you what to think about.

Philippians 4:8 says: Finally, Brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

It tells you how to deal with People; how to deal with those who offend you. And if you follow the Manual your ‘machine’ will operate at its optimal.

You are the Human Machine, and God is the Manufacturer.

He gave you the manual – It is the Word of God.

The Word that He used to bring all things (including you) into being. It’s the same Word He tells you to use to maintain yourself in the world He has created.

The Word of God is actually God Himself: and when I walk in the Word, I am walking in God.

CLOSING PRAYER

Father, this Morning let Your Word touch every Life, break every barriers, bring Light.

That Your Children will not walk in Darkness, but they would walk in Your Word – The Word from God.

Not the word of a man, not the word of a Gift; but the Word of God Himself – The Great Manufacturer who made us.

Let Your Word have free course in us.

Let Your Word shape our Minds, our Thoughts, our words, our activities, our behaviour.

Let Your Word rule our Minds, that we may live a Life of Dominion that You creates us for.

That we would not be Subservient Slaves to the forces of Nature.

That we would be Master over every force of Narure and walk in Divine Power and Authority by Your Word.

In Jesus’ Name – Amen.

Let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

Children of God in the House tonight, shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

If you know that tonight is your Night; and you are Mounting Up on Eagles’ Wings tonight, shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

Right where you are tonight, I want us to lift our holy hands to Yahweh and begin to Bless the Name of the Lord.

Because He is our King, He is our God, and we are the Sheep of His Pasture – Without Him we are Nothing.

In Him we live, in Him we move, in Him we breathe, in Him we have our being.

Oh! Thank You Jesus.

OPENING PRAYER

Abba Father, the King of Heaven: The One who has not called on the Seed of Jacob to seek Him in vain.

The One who has Power over all. The One who is our Sufficiency. The One who sustains us; but He is sustained by none.

O Jesus, we Thank You!

Thank You for the Grace to be in Your Presence tonight.

Thank You for the Grace to be counted among the Living Souls.

Jesus we say, be Thou exalted in the Name of Jesus.

Abba Father, tonight O LORD, we have come to You:

Lord God Almighty, no one – Whether Onsite or Online; or reading now on the Label of DMC, will leave here with a Plastic experience, in the Name of Jesus.

The God Almighty who has the Power to raise men; tonight O LORD I decree, that everyone here, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC, will be lifted and begin to Mount up on Eagles’ Wings, in the Name of Jesus.

Tonight O LORD, I Pray that You’ll speak to us, in the Name of Jesus.

Thank You because You have answered! Be Glorified in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

Let the Living Soul in the House tonight, shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

Eagles in the House, shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

If you know you have a Father who is an Eagle; because you belong to Him – “Like Father, like son” Shout hallelujah – Hallelujah!

I like to appreciate my father-in-the-Lord and my mother; for the Privilege to stand before Mighty Men and Women tonight.

Thank You for bringing us up; Thank You for obeying the Call of the Almighty.

And I Pray, the Grace to carry on the Good work, the Almighty God will bestow unto you, in Jesus’ Name.

I also appreciate our Senior Pastors and all our Leaders in the House – May the Lord continue to renew your Strength, in Jesus’ Name.

We have a very vital Topic before us tonight: ON EAGLES’ WINGS.

THREE (3) CLASSES OF PEOPLE

I’ve realised in Life that there are Three (3) Classes of People that exist in the world:

1. GARBAGE CLASS

The first Class is the Garbage Class:

The People in this Class just exist but their existence is meaningless – They are of no benefit to anyone in the world.

This set of People are the People without impact.

In the Bible, we are made to know of a Man called Methuselah.

Genesis 5:25 says, And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

The only thing recorded about this Man is that he lived, grew old and he died – Garbage Class!

2. GRASSHOPPERS’ CLASS

The second Class of People we have in this world belong to the Class of Grasshoppers.

The People in this Class exist, but they are not living – They are quick to identify opportunities, quick to identify Good things; but one thing about them is that they never Possess these things.

The Bible talked about the Men sent to spy the Land of Canaan – They said in Numbers 13:33, And there we saw the Giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the Giants: and we were in our own sight as Grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

They believed they could not Possess the Land – These are People of the Grasshoppers’ Class.

3. GIANTS’ CLASS

And tonight, there’s a third Class that we implore everyone to belong to – The Class of Giants!

-They are known as Mountain Movers.

• They are known as Shakers of this world.
• They are the ones that decree a thing and it is established.
• They are the ones that carry Power and Authority.
• They are the ones that get in to a Place and Possess the Territory.

They are not just mere men; they are Giants – And these people belong to the Eagle Class.

The Eagle Class is made up of Giants:

• We have them as Political Giants.
• We have them as Giants of Industries.
• We also have them as Spiritual Giants.

In the Old Testaments, the Bible mentioned People like: Father Abraham, Elijah, David and so on.

And in the New Treatments the Bible also mentioned Giants like Apostle Paul – He won many Souls for Christ, and he did Exploits for Christ.

Glory to God, we have an Example of that Class in our midst tonight – Our father-in-the-Lord, Daddy Adeboye by the grace of God belongs to the Giants’ Class. He is not an Ordinary Man.

CLASSES OF EAGLES.

In the Bible, Eagles are classified into two (2) Classes;

1. SUPERIOR EAGLES

These are Special Eagles:

• Spiritually they are Giants.
• They are Firebrand.
• When you look at their Spiritual Battery, it is always fully Charged!

When they enter a Territory, even demons bow!

… These are Firebrand Christians.

2. INFERIOR EAGLES

The second Class of Eagles are the Inferior Eagles – That is, the Common Christians.

Tonight, I implore you to move from being an Ordinary Christian to becoming an Eagle – Become a Christian that rules for Christ.

Our Bible Text tonight is taken from Exodus 19:1-4:

1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.

2 For they departed from Rephidim, and came to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

3 And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

Tonight, there are Eagles and there is an Eagle.

When we talk about Eagles, they are the common ones. But when we talk about an Eagle; these are the Extraordinary set of People.

FEATURES OF AN EAGLE

There are so many features of an Eagle. But I’ll just mention some:

1. An Eagle is a Unique Bird.

The Eagle is rarely seen! That is, you cannot see it among mere men. Their association is distinct.

I want you to say to yourself: I am Unique.

God calls them Special People.

Deuteronomy 7:6 says, The Lord thy God hath Chosen thee to be a Special People unto Himself, above all People that are upon the face of the Earth.

2. It flies higher than other Birds.

That is, when other birds are flying, what an Eagle does is to Soar. The flight Height of an Eagle is between thirty to forty thousand feet.

That is, it can attend the Altitude that no other bird can attend.

I don’t know the Level you’ve been flying; but by the unction of the Holy Spirit, the Lord will begin to take you higher and cause you to Soar like an Eagle, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Because it is written in John 3:31 that, He who comes from above is above all.

That means your Place is meant to be above Principalities and Power, and Dominion.

3. An Eagle Soars towards the direction of the Wind.

That is, no matter the Challenges, no matter the Obstacles; Eagles face Obstacles, they face Challenges.

Challenges don’t define them, Challenges don’t make them look back; Challenges don’t make them weary.

There’s someone here tonight, or reading now on the Label of DMC: I don’t know the Challenges you have been facing; I don’t know the Powers that have been Proving themselves Powerful over your Life; tonight, you will Overcome them, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

4. An Eagle Possesses Unusual Strength.

One thing about an Eagle is that, it weighs between four (4) to six (6) kilograms;

But one Unique thing about it is that, it carries animals that are weightier than it.

An Eagle can carry a Prey that weighs up to twenty (20) kilograms.

Tonight, I want to tell you that, Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world – 1 John 4:4.

You may think you are little; irrespective of your Stature, from tonight, you will begin to do Great Things, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

5. An Eagle cannot be eaten.

Oh! Who are those saying they will see your end?

Because you are an Eagle, no Power from hell will be able to surmount you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Isaiah 54:17 says, No weapon formed against you shall Prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in Judgement You shall condemn.

As from tonight, every weapons of the enemy against your Life, against your family, against your Destiny; the Lord will destroy them tonight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

5. An eagle is an animal that cannot be caught easily.

The Bible says in Leviticus 11:13 – And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the Eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

… It says, it is an abomination to eat the Eagle.

Therefore, I decree tonight: every eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood; assigned to eat your flesh, assigned to drink your blood; as from today, they will begin to eat their own flesh and drink their own blood, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

The Bible says in Isaiah 49:26, And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ON EAGLE’S WINGS?

• As we all know, Eagle signifies Strength;
• Eagle signifies Power
• Eagle signifies Renewal

So, when a Man is on Eagles’ Wings, it means:

1. The Almighty is taking Charge of your affairs.
2. It means the Almighty is taking Charge of all that Pertains to you.
3. It means the Almighty is carrying you on His hands.
4. It means the Almighty lifting you above what you can ever imagine.

Exodus 19:4 says, ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on Eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.

Tonight, every Egyptian sent against your Life: you will begin to see their downfall, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

By the Power of the Almighty, you will begin to carry Fire that the Enemies cannot withstand, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

NOW, WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A MAN IS ON EAGLES’ WINGS?

1. Visions become Clearer.

Jeremiah 33:3 says, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee Great and Mighty Things, which thou knowest not.

That means, when you are on Eagles’ Wings, you have Clarity: you will know how to do things. You will begin to know what to do always.

Then God will begin to direct you on the steps to take in order to fulfill Purpose.

You will begin to have Clarity about your Life, Clarity about your family.

God will then begin to show you certain things that you need to know about yourself; that will make you soar like an Eagle.

2. Eagles command Speed

The Eagle is not a Sluggish animal.

When you talk about the speed of an Eagle; Eagles Soar at a speed of one hundred and thirty five (135) Miles Per hour.

That means, its speed is matchless!

As from today, there’s someone here tonight, or reading now on the Label of DMC; the Lord will begin to bear you on His Wings and give you speed that is incomparable, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

In 1 Kings 18:44-46 we read how Elijah outran the Chariot of Ahab – And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

When you mount on Eagles’ Wings, the Lord grants you speed to overtake, speed to overrule, and speed to Possess.

I Pray, that will be your Portion tonight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

3. The Strength of an Eagle is Renewed.

An Eagle can travel as far as two hundred and twenty four (224)Miles a day without getting tired.

I don’t know where you have been battered tonight; I don’t know where you are weary tonight; I don’t know where you have been disappointed tonight; I don’t know the pain you brought in here tonight – This very Night, the Lord is taking them away; and also renew your Strength, in the Name of Jesus (Amen).

4. Longevity.

Eagles don’t just die anyhow; Eagles live long.

The lifespan of an Eagle is a hundred and twenty (120) years because of the kind of food they eat.

Jeremiah 15:16 says, Thy Words were found, and I did eat them; and thy Word was unto me the Joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of Hosts.

I don’t know what you have been eating; but from tonight, begin to feed on the Word of the Lord – Amen.

The Bible says in Psalms 91:16, With long Life will I satisfy him, and shew him my Salvation.

As from today: Every Covenant with Death, every Agreement with Death against your Life is overruled, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Because it is written in Isaiah 28:18, And your Covenant with Death shall be disannulled, and your Agreement with hell shall not stand;

You shall live and not die – Amen!

Psalms 118:17 says, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Why must you live? Because Prophecies must manifest on your Life.

Receive long Life to fulfill Purpose in Life, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

HOW CAN A MAN MOUNT ON EAGLE’S WINGS?

1. The first thing is Genuine Repentance and Total Submission to Christ.

• When a Life is without Christ, such a Life begins to experience crisis.
• When a Man is without Christ, no matter your Pursuit in Life, things become difficult.
• When a man is without Christ, he begins to live a meaningless Life.

I urge you tonight Brethren, if you are still living in sin, I implore you to come out and be separated unto the Living God.

With Genuine Repentance in your heart, the Lord will begin to show you Mercy; and raise you up out of the dust, and set you among Princess.

Acts 26:20 says, “That they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for Repentance.”

2. Humility

If you are ‘Too Big’ for God to carry you on Eagles’ Wings, your experience become difficult.

If you are ‘Too Big’ for God to carry you, that means the wind of this world will take you away.

You have Prayed, you have done so many things, but it seems like you are still on the same Position; you need to be humble.

The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:6, Humble yourselves therefore under the Mighty Hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:

3. Consecration

Roman 12:1 says, I beseech you therefore, Brethren, by the Mercies of God, that ye Present your bodies a Living Sacrifice, Holy, Acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable Service.

When a Man begins to live a ‘Consecrated Life’; when he is dead to flesh, and allow only Jesus to reflect in his Life, then the Lord is set to lift the fellow up.

Psalms 24:3-4 says, Who shall ascend into the Hill of the LORD? Or who shall Stand in His Holy Place? He that hath Clean hands, and a Pure Heart; who hath not lifted up his Soul unto Vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

If you are not consecrated you cannot see God.

If you are not consecrated unto Him, the Mountain Top experience, and the Eagles’ Wings experience will elude you.

Be consecrated!

4. Align with your Maker.

The Bible says in Amos 3:3, Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?

You need to agree with your Maker.

When you agree with the Almighty in the Place of Prayer, when you agree with the Almighty in Fellowship; He begins to order your steps.

He begins to acquint you with the Culture of Heaven.

5. Wait on Him, and Tarry in His Presence.

Not just waiting; the Bible says in Isaiah 40:31, But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their Strength.

Do not leave the Place of Waiting, do not leave the Place of Tarrying because there is a Day of Appointment.

I Pray for somebody here tonight, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC: The day the Almighty God will visit you, may you not be found wanting, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Tarry, keep waiting! – In tarrying you Pray!

Luke 18:1 says, And he spake a Parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to Pray, and not to Faint;

Keep Praying!

When it seems there is no result you keep Praying – Do not be discouraged.

And I Pray that the Lord, who is Plenteous in Mercy will begin to lift you, in the Name of Jesus – Name.

Beloved, the Place to desire as a Believer is to be on Eagles’ Wings – It is a Place of ease as you experience Easy-Double when you are on Eagles’ Wings!

When you are on Eagles’ Wings, that is when the Lord who faints not would begin to carry you.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have failed us;

Those People we thought would lift us up have all disappointed us;

But there is Someone who never fails;

There is Someone who has Power to raise the Poor out of the dust; and raise the Needy from the dunghill and set him among Princes.

I Pray tonight: The Lord God Almighty will Change your Position, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Tonight, I don’t know if you belong to the Garbage Class; I don’t know if you belong to the Grasshopper Class; may the Almighty God in His Infinite Mercy begin to lift you up on His Wings, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

The Bible says in Deuteronomy 8:18, But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee Power to get Wealth,

Maybe your finance is shaking; maybe insecurity has become a Problem to you: Oh! Let the Lord who can carry a man; let the Lord who can do as He Pleases carry you from tonight – Amen.

And I Pray that the Lord will lift you up, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Right now I want us to rise on our feet tonight, and begin to ask for Mercy.

OPENING PRAYER

Authority in Heaven and on Earth, we Bless Your Name.

The King of kings, we exalt You! The Lord of lords, we exalt You.

Thank You for bringing us here Yourself. Thank You for all that which You have done.

Thank You for Your Grace that has sustained us; Thank You for Your Power at work in this Place.

Father tonight, we raise our voices to say Thank You! Accept our Thanks in the Name of Jesus Christ.

And at the end of today, cause us to mount up with Wings as Eagles, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I want to bless the Name of the Lord for the Grace to be here tonight. I do not take it for granted.

The Topic before us tonight is: ON EAGLES’ WINGS.

The Topic is a Powerful Theme that one one should trivialize tonight.

And the Bible Passage is from the Book of Isaiah 40: 28-31.

28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching for his understanding.

29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

… The Lord bless the reading of His Word, in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

Tonight, I want us to consider the meaning of the two (2) words in the Subject matter – Eagle and Wings

1. What is an EAGLE?

An Eagle is a large and Powerful bird that soars so high Majestically in the air.

2. What are WINGS?

Wings on the other hand, are Part of the bird’s body that enables it to fly so high and gain balance in the Sky.

So, what does Eagles’ Wings mean?

Literally, Eagle’s Wings are the Parts of the Eagle’s body that enables it to soar so high Majestically; and that enables it to gain balance even in the Sky.

The Book of Revelation 4:6-9 gives us understanding of the Creatures that are in Heaven;

And before the Throne there was a sea of Glass like unto Crystal: and in the midst of the Throne, and round about the Throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a Lion, and the second beast like a Calf, and the third Beast had a face as a Man, and the fourth Beast was like a flying Eagle. And the four Beasts had each of them six Wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those Beasts give Glory and Honour and Thanks to Him that sat on the Throne, who liveth for ever and ever,

The Passage talked about the four (5) Living Creatures;

• The first Creature was like a Lion.
• The second Creature was like a Calf (A Lamb),
• The third Creature had the Likeness of a Man;
• And the fourth (4th) Creature was like an Eagle.

So tonight, we shall be focusing on the Eagle.

LESSONS THAT CHRISTIANS CAN LEARN FROM THE EAGLE.

1. Eagles have Clear and Sharp Vision.

The length and breadth you can go in Life is determined by how far you can see – How far you can see will determine how far you can go.

The Book of Genesis 37:5-9 tells us about a Young man called Joseph: He had Dreams and Visions, where he saw himself becoming Great. And held unto the Dreams until they came to Manifestation.

2. Eagles fly alone.

Your Dream and you is different from that of your neighbour.

So, if you live like your friends, it is Possible that you may not achieve your Dreams.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:17, Separate ye from among them.

There must be a separation between you and your Neighbours for your Destiny to be fulfilled.

The fulfilment of your Destiny is Personal – Chicken and birds can not fly together:

You are an Eagle, and they are Chicken.

There’s a Great difference between the two – Your Destination is different from theirs and your Vision is different from theirs.

3. Eagles don’t feed on dead animals.

No wonder the Bible tells us in 1 Peter 2:2 that, As newborn babies, se should desire the Pure Milk of the Word.

You need to feed on the Living Word of God.

4. Eagles Soar Higher and Higher in the Storm.

Can I tell you tonight:

• Regardless of the Challenges and the Circumstances that confront you, never give up!
• Regardless the situation you find yourself, never give up.

Daniel 11:32B says: but the People that do know their God shall be Strong, and do Exploits.

Can I ask you a sincere and simple Question tonight: Do you know Jesus?

If you know Jesus, there is nothing to fear.

Because with Jesus, you can Soar so high and so far in Life and in Destiny.

5. The Eagles lay off old Feathers and Beaks.

Hebrews 12:1 tells us to lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

You cannot fly if those weights and sins are still in your body.

It is an error for you to return home with that Sickness -That is why you came: to Encounter God, so that you can drop all the Sicknesses, the Challenges and Pains at the feet of Jesus Christ.

WHY SHOULD I MOUNT UP ON EAGLE’S WINGS?

You need to know why you must mount up on Eagles’ Wings:

1. To live as Royalty.

1 Peter 2:9 says: But ye are a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, an Holy Nation, a Peculiar People; that ye should shew forth the Praises of Him who hath called you out of Darkness into His Marvellous Light.

So, you don’t need to live like a Chicken – Live like an Eagle that God has made you.

Journey with the King of kings tonight, and you will live like a Royalty.

You cannot soar on Eagles’ Wings with the King of kings and remain the same – Negatively.

No Sir! Part of His Royalty will rub off on you.

In as much as you have come before God, His Kingly Splendor will rob off on you; and you will begin to Legislate as a King yourself – Amen.

Revelation 5:10 tells us: And hast made us unto our God Kings and Priests: and we shall reign on the Earth.

2 Samuel 9:1-10 gives us a typical Example of a Man who had an encounter with a King: Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul.

… The King we are talking about in this Scripture was King David.

And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him Kindness for Jonathan’s sake?

Is there someone here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC, that will have an encounter with the King of kings and Lord of lords?

If you are here, I Congratulate you.

Listen to me tonight – God was seeking for a Man, and He went to the family of Adeboye. He said, is there anybody in the family of Adeboye that I can make Royalty? So he can reign here on Earth?

And the Lord found our father-in-the-Lord – Pastor E.A Adeboye!

When you read 2 Samuel 9:4 the Scripture says, And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the King, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar.

Your current location does not matter. What matters is that you locate the One who can cause you to mount up on Eagles’ Wings.

I know a God who can pick a man from Lodebar and set him in the Palace.

And that God will locate you tonight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

If the Lord carries you on His Wings, your Location does not matter – He Picked Mephibosheth from Lodebar, and made him dine with a King.

May that God locate you tonight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

After this Special Holy Ghost Service, you will begin to sit with the High and the Mighty, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

I don’t want to know your family background; I am here to introduce you to the One who can make you mount on Eagles’ Wings. The One who can make a man Soar so high!

I decree tonight; your Correct Location does not matter. My God will take you to the Location where you ought to Operate, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

2. To operate with Christ far above Principalities and Power.

Ephesians 1:20-22 tells us: Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the Heavenly Places, Far above all Principalities and Power, and Might, and Dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the Church,

If Jesus can carry you, you will begin to operate in the same Level where He operates.

The Bible says in Philippians 2:9; Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name: That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in Earth, and things under the Earth;

Meaning: If Jesus carries me, I can also operate above Principalities and Power.

If Jesus carries you, you will begin to operate in the same realm of Power and Dominion.

The Book of John 14:12 says, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and Greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Ephesians 4:8 says: Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led Captivity Captive, and gave Gifts to men.”

Then Ephesians 4:11 says: And he gave some, Apostles; and some, Prophets; and some, Evangelists’; and some, Pastors and Teachers;

Why? Because that is who we ought to be here on Earth.

3. To enjoy the Grace of Ease and Speed.

When you soar on Eagles’ Wings, things that take men ten (10) years to accomplish will take you just ten (10) Months.

Why? Because you are not banking on your Strength; the Eagle Himself is the One carrying you. Hence, He can cause you to achieve what takes others ten (10) to do, in just ten (10) Months.

Stop Labouring to get things done and look for the Eagle Himself to carry you on His Wings – Because when He carries you, you will achieve impossible feats.

We are able to achieve Great things with ease, when we mount up on Eagles’ Wings!

Your Strength and Capacity may fail you but you can bank on the Strength of the Lord.

When others are facing difficulties, you can enjoy double ease.

Why? God is showing you favour and ease.

Men also are showing you favour because you are soaring on Eagles’ Wings.

4. To Enjoy Victory.

1 Samuel 17:42-51 records the Story of a man called David, who got Victory – He defeated Goliath; the Captain of the Philistines.

It was not by his Strength; it was because he was operating on the Wings of the Eagle.

So The Lord carried him on His Wings and he defeated Goliath with just a Stone.

How do we explain this? The Workability of the Eagle in your Life.

If the Eagle carries you, nothing is impossible for you to do.

The Lord granted David Victory because He carried him on His Wings.

Let Jesus carry you, so that He can win the battle for you – Enough of fighting the battle by yourself.

Let the One who can win the battle carry you.

2 King 1:9-15 tells us about a Man called Elijah – The King wanted to devour him. Little did he know that he had mounted on Eagles’ Wings.

The King sent the first fifty (50) Soldiers, Elijah called down Fire to consume them.

He sent the second fifty (50) Soldiers, Elijah called down Fire to consume them.

And the third fifty (50) Soldiers had to operate in Wisdom – They said to the Man who was carried on Eagles’ Wings, “Please Sir, just come with us.”

When you begin to operate on Eagles’ Wings, you will get Victory Cheaply.

5. So that you can Soar so High in Life and in Destiny.

There is no limit to how High God can take you – You can go very high and so far in Life, only if you can allow God; The Eagle Himself to carry you.

How do we explain the Man who slept and woke up as a Prisoner; but went to bed the following day as a Prime Minister in the Palace?

It is because he was carried on Eagles’ Wings!

In Genesis 41:39-44, the Bible says: Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your Consent, no Man may lift his hand or foot in all the Land of Egypt.”

Pharaoh banked on the Integrity of his name; but made Pronouncements on a Man who has been carried on Eagles’ Wings!

HOW TO MOUNT UP ON EAGLE’S WINGS

1. Position your Mind and Desire to be lifted by the Eagle.

Position your Mind and desire to be carried by God Himself – No man waits upon the Lord and remains the same.

When you come to the Lord, He carries you like a baby.

Have you seen a mother carrying a baby before? The baby operates under ease.

Proverbs 23:7 says: For as he thinketh in his Heart, so is he.

Your Today is the direct reflection of your thought and your Thinking System; your Today is the direct reflection of your desires.

Do you want to Soar like an Eagle? Do you want to mount up on Eagles’ Wings?

Allow Jesus to carry you – Ask Him to carry you and He will definitely carry you.

2. Wait upon the Lord!

The Destiny of those that Wait don’t waste

If you cannot wait, you can end up being wasted in Life and Destiny.

Wait on Jesus – Just as little children depend on their Parents to get things done.

Isaiah 40:30-31 says, Even the Youths shall faint and be weary, and the Young Men shall utterly fall: But those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their Strength; they shall mount up with Wings as Eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Could this be the reason Youths of our Generation are failing because they don’t want to wait?

Could it be the reason the People of my Generation are rushing?

There is a Place called, the “Waiting Room”.

3. Set your gaze on Jesus.

Enough of looking unto men – Set your gaze on Jesus!

Redirect your focus to God – He is the One who can carry you.

Has Man not failed you enough? Have Men not failed you enough?

Brethren, the Eagle Himself can carry you – Take your trust away from man!

Psalms 121:1 says, I will lift up my eyes to the Hills. From whence comes my Help? My Help comes from the Lord,

And that Help will come for you tonight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

The best of a Man is always limited to the Man.

Is it not the Man that the Bible says his heart is very wicked?

Don’t depend on Man!

Depend on the Eagle Himself – Let the Eagle carry you.

Tell somebody tonight: Let the Eagle carry you!

Hebrews 12:2 says, Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

4. Depend on His Strength.

His Strength is enough for you.

When you allow Jesus to carry you, you don’t need to depend on your Strength or Weakness.

Just relax and allow Him carry you on Eagles’ Wings to the Destination of your Dream Point.

There is no Heights or Limits that God cannot take you.

Zechariah 4:6 says: O he answered and said to me: “This is the Word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by Might nor by Power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of Hosts.

… It is not by the Power of Man; it is by the Power of the Eagle Himself – It is by the Power of Jesus Himself.

The Strength and Power of Men had even failed us in our Nation – It is time for God’s children to begin to depend on the Strength and Power of the Lord:

• Our Nation can depend on the Strength of Jesus.
• Our Economy can depend on the Strength of Jesus.

1. Surrender your Life and All to Jesus and follow Him.

Matthew 4:19 tells us, Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you Fishers of Men.”

The ‘Making’ Process starts from the Point you begin to follow Jesus.

If you decide to follow Jesus, then you have commenced the ‘Making’ Process.

God will make men here tonight – Amen!

For Men who have decided to follow Jesus, the Lord will make you what you want to be, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Before an Eaglet will start to fly, it must obey the Instructions of the “Mother Eagle”.

And after a while you will see the Eaglet flying so High.

Our father-in-the-Lord obeyed the instructions of the Lord – He laid aside his Career and Ambition of becoming the Youngest Vice Chancellor; he moved to a small Apartment in Mushin (Lagos State Nigeria).

And from Mushin, he obeyed God’s Instructions to move to a jungle on Lagos – Ibadan Expressway.

Who would have believed that same jungle would become a City (RCCG Redemption City): where Kings and Nobels, both White and Black come to seek the face of God?

Can you obey the commands and the instructions of the Eagle tonight?

Jesus is the Eagle we are talking about – Obey Him, and listen to His Instructions.

ALTAR CALL

No matter how bad you think your case may be; what you need to do is to Submit to the Lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ.

What you need to do is to Surrender all to Him, and watch Him make your Life an amazing Wonder.

No matter how deep you think you are in sin; no matter how broken you think you are; no matter how hard your Challenge may be.

Can I tell you something?

Jesus can gather up your “Broken Pieces”; mend them, and make you what you want to be.

Jesus is Calling on you today!

Matthew 11:28 says, Come to Me, all you who Labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

When our father-in-the-Lord makes the Altar Call tonight, I want to beseech you in the Name of Jesus, rush forward and Surrender all to Jesus.

Can we rise up tonight as we Pray!

CLOSING PRAYER

Cry at the top of your voice and say: JESUS; carry me on Your Wings to the Mountaintop.

Holy Ghost, carry me on Your Wings to my Place of Destiny.

Carry me to my Place of Power.

Carry me to my Place of Influence,

Carry me to my Dreamland.

Lift up your voice and Pray!

The Unshakable Shaker, we say Thank You!

The Unbeatable Beater; The I AM THAT I AM; The Eagle Himself (Not Itself).

The One that fights a battle without losing.

In fact, the One that appears without fighting and still wins.

Daddy, we Celebrate You! We worship You tonight.

Thank You for what You are doing already;

Thank You for what You are still going to do.

Daddy Please, in Your Mercy, accept our Thanks and Praises, in the Name of Jesus.

Father, I come before You Lord: I have come here tonight not to compete; but rather to learn at Your feet and to tell the world about Your Goodness.

Father Please, reveal Yourself tonight, in the Name of Jesus.

Thank You Father because You have answered my Prayer.

In Jesus’ Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Can you do something for Jesus quickly (Clapping)!

I want to sincerely use this opportunity to appreciate our father and our mother in the Lord.

Thank You so much for this Privilege – We do not take it for granted. We are your children, and we are your Product.

Can we Celebrate Daddy and Mummy!

Thank you so much.

And I want to appreciate all our Senior Pastors (our Leaders) for raising us the Young ones – We are Grateful.

Can we Please, Celebrate all our fathers and mothers in Faith.

Thank you so much – The Lord will help us, in the Name of Jesus!

… Can we say a louder Amen – Amen.

As we all know, our focus today is: “ON EAGLES’ WINGS.”

And I want us to know that anytime a Topic like this comes forth; anytime God is gives a matter like this to our father-in-the-Lord; it is not just a mere Topic, they are not just mere words – It is actually a Word from the Father to our own father in the house.

That is why we are confident that our focus tonight is not just a Topic, rather it is the Mind of God for a Season like this.

If God is saying to our father-in-the-Lord that it is Time for us to ride on Eagles’ Wings; it means that the it is Time for us to really ride!

If you are one of those who is going to ride on Eagles’ Wings; wherever you are, can God hear your Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

I’ll quickly take my Bible Reading from Revelation 4:1-8

1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as if it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

5 And out of the throne proceeded lightning and thunder and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

6 And before the throne, there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

Let me quickly take a Bible Review from our Text (Revelation 4:18):

In Verses 1-5 there is a man there called John. And he was the one actually speaking in this Passage.

If you check Verse 2, the Scripture says, “he was in the Spirit.”

This Particular John we are talking about was a man that was exciled, banished to the Island of Patmos for the sake of the Gospel.

Yet, according to Revelation 4:2 this man (John) was in the Spirit – He was still in tune with the Holy Ghost: Still riding on the Wings of the Father.

Not minding the Challenges around. Not minding the difficulties, not minding the Problems Surrounding him: he was still in the Spirit.

And he said, “behold, a Throne was set in Heaven, and one sat on the Throne.”

And he began to give a description of the One who sat on the Throne – Telling us how our Maker looks; showing us the Beautification of God. Like an Emerald, Rainbow surrounding His Throne.

When you read further, John said, “And round about the Throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty Elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads Crowns of Gold” – Revelation 4:4

The Point I want us to note in Revelation 4:1-5 is this: it shows us the description of the Beautification of God’s Glory.

And you know many of us believe that as Christians, as Saints; the only Ministry we are entitled to is the Ministry of Angels.

According to Hebrews 1:13-14, the Scripture says, Are they not all Ministering Spirits, sent forth to Minister for them who shall be Heirs of Salvation?

But I want to tell you, from our Bible Text – The Bible says, “And upon the seats I saw four and twenty Elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads Crowns of Gold.”

There is something Unique about the Twenty four (24) Elders – They were not just Elders; they are also Spirits in the realm of God, that God Himself created, to Minister unto us.

When you read Revelation 5:1 to the end, we are told: And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the Throne a Book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a Strong Angel Proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the Book, and to loose the seals thereof? – Revelation 5:1-2

There are matters that even Angels cannot address; there are matters in which Angels are still in the dark.

But in Revelation 5:5 the Bible says, And one of the Elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath Prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Even when Angels were confused, Elders were not confused. Because their lives rotate around the Throne of God. They have an understanding of everything about God.

What is confusing to Angles is not confusing to Elders.

Only one (1) out of the twenty four (24) Elders showed up. And said, I know you are a Mighty Angel; you may not understand these things. But there is a Lamb who was slain, that we have come to Celebrate: He is Worthy!

Can somebody say: Jesus is Worthy!

One (1) of the twenty four (24) Elders said, Mighty Angel if you look at the Throne you might be confused. But as Elders, our Thrones are round about God. And the Mighty Angel was quiet. The Elder said, the Lamb of God has Overcome.

Can you say to your Neighbour: The Lamb has Overcome!

Tell your Neighbour: The Ministry of Angels is important!

Hallelujah!

When you also look at Revelation 4:6-8, the Scripture talks about the four (4) Living Creatures – And the first beast was like a Lion, and the second beast like a Calf, and the third beast had a face as a Man, and the fourth beast was like a Flying Eagle.

These are other Spirits that God created to assist Believers – They actually represent the Glorious dimension of God.

Matthew 10:16 – Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

This focuses on the Gentle side of God.

The one with the face of a Lion focuses on the terrible side of God; the fury side of God, according to Revelation 5:5 – Behold, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath Prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. Hallelujah!

The one that has the face of a Calf; Matthew 10:16B says, be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

The Calf focuses on the Gentle side of God.

The next one talks about the face of a Man.

When you read John 1:14, the Bible says, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his Glory, the Glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father,) full of Grace and Truth.

And when you read Hebrews 13:1-12, the Scripture says, that we should love one another – “Let Brotherly Love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain Strangers: for thereby some have entertained Angels unawares.”

Angels can come in the form of Men.

When you read Genesis 18:1-10, God showed up as Men and told Abraham that his barrenness is about to end:

And the LORD appeared unto him in the Plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

God showed up using the face of Men, and they said to Abraham: listen, we have come from the Throne of God to give you Good News, that your barrenness is about to end.

Can I speak to somebody here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; everything that is barren in your Life as you rise to your feet and shout a louder Amen, an end come upon Barrenness – Amen!

And the fourth (4th) Creature, the Bible says had a face like that of an Eagle:

… And remember, that’s our focus tonight.

THE FACE OF AN EAGLE

I will quickly mention some unyique Features of an Eagle:

There are many of them: but for the sake of time tonight, I will just focus on the Eagles’ Wings.

1. Although we all know that Eagles are known for their Strength, as a large bird. They can pick up their Preys two times their own weight.
2. Eagles have Powerful Vision – They can sight their Preys from afar.
3. They have Muscular Legs for grabbing their Preys, and for maintaining balance on a tree.
4. They have Good beaks for eating flesh from their Preys.

There are many other Characteristics but Permit me to look at:

LIMITATIONS OF EAGLES

Let’s look at some Limitations of the Eagles:

1. Eagles are Diurnal Birds:

That is, they are more active in the morning and Evening.

But at Night they look for a comfortable Place to rest.

DMC Notes: Diurnal Birds are birds of Prey that hunt in the Daytime.

I took time to Study Eagles – They sleep for ten (10) to twelve (12) hours in a day. They take out time to enjoy

The Psalmist says in Psalms 121:4 – Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

So the Eagle we are focusing on today is not a thing – He is a Person.

Tell your Neighbour: the Eagle we are talking about today is not a thing, He is a Person – He neither sleeps, He neither slumbers. He does not doze.

Can somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

In Revelation 4:8b the Bible says that the fourth (4th) Living Creature with the face of an Eagle, “rest not day and night, saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”

And don’t forget, the four (4) Living Creatures represent the four Dimensions of God’s Glory:

• God can come as a Lion, in His Fiery State.
• God can come as a Calf, in His Humble Personality.
• God can come as a Man, in disguise to humble us.
• God can come as an Eagle. That is why we are focusing today around the Eagle.

And I see the Lord Changing Stories tonight – Amen.

I see People soaring tonight – Amen.

We have looked at the Uniqueness of Eagles; and we have seen their Limitations but quickly, Permit me to say this to you:

If God is giving a Topic like this to our father-in-the-Lord, that it is time to ride on Eagles’ Wings – It means it is time for us to be on Motion – Amen.

It is time for us to soar beyond our Current Level – Amen.

If you are ready to Change Levels here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC, kindly rise on your feet and move around right where you are and say: I Change my Position. I move into Glory, I move into Honour – Do it Prophetically.

Amen!

CATEGORIES OF MOTION OR MOVEMENT

Quickly, let’s look at some Categories of Motion or Movement:

1. We have the Total or Complete Stagnation.

In Mark 2:1-11; the Bible talks about the Paralytic Man who was carried by four (4) men to meet with Jesus. That’s a Stage of no Movement at all.

I decree to somebody here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; everything that is Stagnant in your Life, in your Finance, in your Business, in your Career, in your Destiny, I decree begin to move now – Amen

2. We have to Crawling Stage.
3. We can have the Walking and Leaping Stage:

Acts 3:1-9 talks about the Lame Man at the Beautiful Gate – He was Walking and Leaping.

4. We have the Running Stage.

It is to make steady Progress – At least you are moving.

… No movement at all (Stagnant), Crawling Stage, Walking and Leaping Stage, the Running Stage.

5. The Flying Stage: .

There is enough space in the air to fly without any Collision.

In the realm of the Spirit, you have Wings with which we can fly.

Salvation gives you a Wings.

Your Wings are activated to soar like Eagles.

6. Another Category of Movement is to be carried on Eagles’ Wings.

What does it mean “to be carried on Eagles’ Wings?”

It means to be delivered, or it means to be helped.

Exodus 19:3-4 God told Moses, Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on Eagles’ Wings, and brought you unto myself.

In conclusion, I want to share a Story with us – Practically Speaking.

I read the Story of a man – Bro. Lucky by name.

When I was Meditating on this Story, I heard God telling me, something is about to happen tonight.

Here’s what happened to him:

Bro. Lucky was about to going to work and the Lord told him, begin to Pray; something is about to happen, so begin to Pray.

But Bro. Lucky was telling God, I am already late for work.

God said, begin to Pray and then he started Praying.

After Praying, he left for work, and entered a taxi at Oshodi (DMC NOTE: A City in Lagos State Nigeria).

By the time he regained himself, he found himself in thick and terrible forest.

Apparently he was kidnapped.

What he saw around him were freshly Slaughtered human Parts and immediately, he started Praying aloud.

The People there said, shut up, your Praying is disturbing us. Then he started Praying from within. And they said they could still hear him and then something happened!

You know what happened? Bro Lucky remembered the Story of Esther – When she was to go before the King to Plead for the lives of the Jews, she said “If I Perish, I Perish!”

So he started Praying in the Spirit.

And the Wind Blew! Like our father-in-the-Lord told us.

When the wind blew, a hand carried the brother and he found himself at Ore Junction (DMC NOTES: A City in Ondo State Nigeria).

Can I speak to the Life that will shout a louder Amen;

I don’t know what has been kidnapped in your Life, but I see God bringing it back in the Name of Jesus – Amen

FOR YOU TO RIDE ON EAGLES’ WINGS, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:

1. You must be Saved; and you must be Born Again.

1 Timothy 2:14 says, And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the Transgression.

Our father-in-the-Lord will be giving the Altar Call later tonight; if you are not Born Again, you have to run forward and Surrender your Life to Jesus.

Very important! Because your Story is about to Change – “Except you are Save, you are not Safe.”

2. And the Last Point, after you have been saved, it is very important that you begin to: Wait on the Lord.

Isaiah 40:31 says, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their Strength; they shall mount up with Wings as Eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The Grace to wait, Receive this in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Can somebody shout hallelujah – Hallelujah!

OPENING PRAYER

Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the Great Architect, the Great Builder; the All-Sufficient God – We Worship You. Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

My Lord and my Saviour, this Morning I’m committing all Your Children who had Played one Part or the other in the building of this Church into Your Hands:

Let it be well with them, build houses for them, build their homes, build their lives, build their Future and Pleass Lord, don’t let them miss their Mansions in Heaven.

And Daddy, I’m committing this Particular Parish (DMC NOTES: RCCG City of Light Parish) into Your Hands:

From this moment onwards, let this Place become a Miracle Center.

If they bring the Sick here, let the Sick be Healed.

If they bring the Captive here, let the Captive be Set Free.

If the Barren comes here to Worship, let the Barren becomes Fruitful.

… “Cute Building”; “Cute Choir” – Glory be to God!

Like you have been told; it is a Miracle that I am here today as I’m supposed to still be resting but then the Spirit of God won’t allow me to rest.

DMC NOTES: Daddy was referring to the comment made by Pastor Oyitso Brown – Pastor In Charge of RCCG Region 19 (The First Born Family) in his Introduction of Daddy GO to take the Sermon.

Psalms 122:1 – David said: I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

Now, why will David say that I was glad?

Why should anyone be glad when they say: Let us go into the House of the Lord?

It is because you know that when you come into the House of the Lord; you will have an Encounter with the Lord!

It is the House of the Lord and so you will come into the House and you will meet the Owner of the House!

1. And when you come into the House of the Lord, even if you come Sick, you know that you will go home Healed because the Owner of the House is a “Great Physician”.

In Exodus 15:26; He said that I am the Lord that Healeth thee.

When someone is sick, you want to go to the Hospital.

And if I remembered very well; in the Olden Days, when you go to the Hospital, usually the Doctor will say come and meet me at home because at home, he will give you the best.

That’s why you found out that many of the Miracles that the Lord did was in the House of the Lord.

In Mark 2: 1-12; the Bible tells us of a Man who was Paralysed from neck downwards.

His friends brought him because they heard that Jesus Christ was in a Particular house.

They knew that if only we can get to the Place where Jesus Christ happened to be, there will be Miracle of Healings.

They broke through the rood to get in – You didn’t have to break through the roof today but came through the door.

They carried him in and he didn’t take the Sickness back.

So I Prophesy that everyone one of you here today Inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC; the Sickness you brought in, you won’t go out with it – Amen!

Several years ago at Ebute Metta (DMC NOTES: RCCG National Headquarters Parish); a woman was told in the Hospital: Mama (Meaning Mother), go home and die with your children as there is Nothing anybody can do for you – Just go and spend your Last few Days with your children.

As the children were carrying her home, she said: Wait a Minute, take me to the Church first.

And the children said to her: Mama (Mother), there is no Service today – No Digging Deep or Faith Clinic and so the Pastor is not likely to be there.

She said: Who told you that I want to go and see the Pasror? Take me to the House of God.

They brought her to the Headquarters – As she was coming in, she said just help me to one of the Pillars.

She got in, touched the Pillar and she was Completely Healed!

You have come to the House of the Lord today and you will go home Rejoicing – Amen!

2. When you are in Bondage – It doesn’t matter what manner of Bondage and you come to the House of the Lord; it is certain that the Bondage will be destroyed.

The reason is because the Owner of the House is the One who is called “The Lord of Host” and He has never lost a war – Psalms 24: 7-10.

… You just come into His House and you can be free from your Bondage

There are various Examples in the Scriptures that Jesus Christ will come into the Temple – He will find a Man with Unclean Spirit and before the Man can even say a word, He will just say: “Be Free”.

Because the One who owns the House is also called “The Truth”.

And the Bible says that you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you Free (DMC NOTES: John 8:32).

As a matter of fact, He says in John 8:36 – He said that whomsoever the Son shall set Free shall be Free Indeed.

May I decree to Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC; it doesn’t matter the kind of Bondage that you have been Struggling with; because you came today, you shall be Free – Amen!

Some of you Probably remembered the Story of a woman who was living in a Town called Ile Ife (A Town in Osun State Nigeria) – A Wealthy Woman.

She was in the top room of one of her several Storey buildings and was about to eat Pounded Yam.

And as she opened the dish, a frog came from no where – There was no Swamps and Nothing in the house. And it landed on the Pounded Yam.

Ha, what kind of rubbish is this? And so in trying to say: Hey get off my food, the frog jumped into the bowl of stew.

So she said alright – If I am not going to eat this food, then you are not going to eat it either.

So she took the bowl of Pounded Yam and rammed it on the bowl of stew and buried it there.

After she felt that by now, whatever frog is there would have drowned; she removed the bowl of Pounded Yam and there was no frog there.

But from that day onwards, she started coughing – The kind of coughing that when she is coughing she will be urinating.

She went everywhere because she was Wealthy, spent everything that she had; then she heard that we were Dedicating a Church in Ile Ife and she attended.

And from that moment onwards that she stepped into the House of the Lord, the cough stopped.

But that wasn’t the end of the Story.

It wasn’t long after that a woman came to her and said: Where do you go to because the Demon that I sent against you has no recall.

And the thing that I have discovered is that for sometime now, I have been coughing – You know: “Back To Sender”.

And then she told her about what God did – She Surrendered her Life to Jesus Christ and I remembered that Year’s Convention when the two of them came to the Convention in Ebute Metta (National Headquarters Parish) – The one who was killing and the one who was about to be killed. The two of them now becomes two Good friends.

May I decree that if there is anyone making any effort(s) to put you in Bondage; that Fellow will come to beg you – Amen!

3. When you come to the House of the Lord, no matter how serious your Financial situations may be; Breakthrough will come.

Why? Because you are coming to the House of the One who according to Genesis 17:1; who is “More Than Enough”.

The One who said in Haggai 2:8 – He says Silver is Mine, Gold is Mine.

The One the Bible says He owns the Earth and the Fullness thereof (DMC NOTES: Psalms 24:1).

So, no matter how difficult things are for you now; because you are here today, before the end of this Year (2024), you will Testify – Amen!

I have shared with you before the Story of my Uncle – A very funny Man.

He used to be very Wealthy – A Great Electrical Engineer but somehow the Tides turned and he began to lose Money until there was Nothing left.

Things became so bad that he had to be taking his wife’s wrapper to make “Buba and Soro” (DMC NOTES: “Buba and Soro” is a Yoruba Clothing word that depicts Upper Clothing and Trouser for Males).

So he decided one day – He said: “Death is better than Shame”.

He said that I will go to the Church – I will dance, everybody will Noticed me, I will Participate and then I will come home and kill myself.

So he said that I will attend my own Funeral Service – He was that kind of Man.

Then he came to the Church and that day the Preacher Preached on Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

And the Preacher said that when those boys said that the God whom we serve will deliver us; they didn’t know how He will do it.

But God did it anyway.

And he said that I didn’t know how God can get me out of my Present Level of Poverty, but I refused to die.

On the day that he was sharing his Testimony, he just bought fourteen (14) cars for those working for him in a Single day.

I didn’t know whom God is talking to now – But because you came today or reading now on the Label of DMC; very soon, you will Testify – Amen!

4. Mummy had Prayed for those of you Trusting God for the Fruit of the Womb (DMC NOTES: You can get to read the Full Text and watch the video of the Prayer on the Social Media Handles of DMC).

But you know that if you come to the House of the Lord; you will come in Contact with the One who is called “The Fruitful Vine”.

The One who said: Be Fruitful and Multiply.

When you read the Story of Hannah – She came to Shiloh and that was where she met the Lord.

She Prayed and God Noticed her Prayer.

She didn’t give birth to just any “Ordinary Child”; she gave birth to a Prophet:

• She gave birth to a King Maker of Israel.
• She gave birth to the first King Remover of Israel.

I decree into the Life of anyone of you Inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC; who might be Trusting God for the Fruit of the Womb or you have Relatives who are Trusting God for the Fruit of the Womb. Because of this Morning Service, very Special Children will come through you – Amen!

5. Do you know that even if you have an Appointment with Death and you come to the House of the Lord; that Appointment can be Postponed.

Yes, it is Appointed unto Man once to die – We all know that we will die one day or the other.

But God had elongated the Life of Somebody for fifteen (15) years before – He can say that I am the Almighty God; you are supposed to die this Year but I add fifteen (15) years more. Anybody who does not like it let him sue me.

Why? Because when you come into the House of the Lord, you have come into the House of the One who said in John 11:25 – He said: I am the Ressurrection and the Life.

And when Death came face to face with the Ressurrection; Death must give way.

You know very well in Mark 5: 35-43 – The only daughter of Jairus had died.

But Jesus Christ stepped in – And wherever Jesus Christ step into, that is where the Place becomes the House of the Lord.

He turned Death to Sleep and He woke up the one who Sleeping.

I Pray for Someone here today or reading now on the Label of DMC; because you may not know if even if this is the Year you are Appointed to die; that Appointment is Post – Amen!

You remembered this Story:

A Prophet came to a Man – He was fairy an Old Man. And he said that God asked me to tell you: Put your house in order because you are going to die. It was beginning of the Year.

The Man said: God said that I must die? Is there anything I can do so that I won’t die? And the Prophet said, No it is a Settled matter.

Infact God wants to show you Love, that is why He has told you this so that you can put everything in order,

He said that: Could you help me to tell God to let me see December 31st? Afterall, it is still this Year.

And the Prophet said that all God told me was that you are dying this Year but He didn’t say which Month.

December 31st came, the Man woke up very early in the Morning and began to trek from his house to the Church in Ebute Metta (National Headquarters Parish). He didn’t take any bus because he wanted to avoid an Accident.

And whenever he saw anybody coming in the opposite direction; he dodged because that Fellow might be the one who is going to kill.

Finally, he got to the Church – As soon as he entered, he said the Death that will come and kill me here; let’s wait and see.

And the Man lived for several years later!

Because you came today or Privileged to be reading now on the Label of DMC:

• You won’t die Young (Amen)
• You will fulfill God’s Purpose (Amen)
• And any Appointment with Death is Postponed (Amen).

1. Of course, the Greatest reason why you should be glad for coming to the House of God is that when you come to the House of God; you have come to the House of “The Saviour”.

And because you come to the House of the Saviour, you can be saved.

Because the Bible says in Matthew 1:20; He said that they shall Call His Name Jesus.

Why? Because He shall save His People from their sins.

You come to the House of the Lord, there is Salvation available for you!

No matter how terrible your sins may have been – I don’t have time to begin to tell you of myself.

I have said it before – If I were Jesus; I won’t have even saved Adeboye!

… I was that rotten – I mean when you are a Sinner to the core.

But I came to the House of the Lord and why I came was because I had a Problem that my Mathematics couldn’t solve.

And I came because Somebody told me that in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) that is at Ebute Metta – You should have seen the Church at that time.

I mean the ground was not even Plastered – Its not the kind of Place you want to see a University Lecturer. And so for me to go in there, it was because I had Problem.

And when I got there, I thought that they will just tell me how much they want me to Pay so that they can Pray this Prayer and Solve my Problem,

But they are not asking me for Money – Believe it or not, even in those days, they don’t even take Offerings because they say we don’t even know who is a Sinner and we don’t want your Money.

So, they won’t take my Money but kept on saying: Surrender your Life to Jesus.

And I was saying: What is wrong with these People because Majority of them, you just need to look at them; you will know that they were Ignorant People – Market Women, this, that.

What did they know about sin anyway? I mean just one (1) or two (2) Harmful Habits et cetera et cetera.

But one day, God broke through my Stupidity – And I was a Lecturer at the University of Lagos and I thought that I was wise.

And that thought said to me – What is wrong with you? They are not asking you to Surrender to a Man, they are asking you to Surrender to your Maker.

You say that you are Educated – Look at their faces; can’t you see Peace? Do you have what they have?

And so, when they made the Altar Call that day; I went forward and I gave my Life to Jesus Christ and everything Changed,

… Things are still Changing for the better.

I was a Chief among Sinners but today, I am Preaching to you – And all over the world, they will be seeing me Preachimg to you.

From the Miry Clay, He brought me out and Changed my Life Completely!

And He can do the same thing for you.

ALTAR CALL

So, it doesn’t matter how rotten you think that you have been; come and Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ – That will be the beginning of Miracles for you.

So, I will count from one (1) to seven (7) – If you want to Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ, just come and Stand before the Altar. Let us Pray for your Salvation.

And you know what? You won’t even want to sin anymore.

So come quickly – You might even be the only one fellow that God wants to save today.

So, I’m counting now!

Now, those of you who are already infront and those of you who might still be on the way; cry to the Almighty God to Please save my Soul.

Tell Him: I want to serve You, I want to become a New Person, I want a New Beginning – Please Lord have Mercy on me.

And the rest of us, let us Stretch our hands to our New Brothers and Sisters and Intercede for them.

Pray that the One who saved our Souls will save their own Souls also.

Thank You Father. Glory be to Your Name.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Saviour, I want to commit all these Your Children into Your Hands.

I Thank You for Your Words and I Thank You for the Grace You have given them to step forward for Salvation.

Please remember Your Promise – That whosoever will come unto You; You will no wise cast out.

They have come to You now Father; Please receive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins, write their names in the Book of Life, receive them into the Fqmily of God and give them a Brand New Beginning.

From now on, anytime they cry unto You, Please answer them by Fire.

And Please Lord, don’t let them Backslide; don’t let them go back to sin and just let all be well with them.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

I Congratulate those of you who has come out this Morning and I Promise you that I will be Praying for you.

I will need your names, Address and Prayer Requests.

And very soon, you will be receiving Miracles that you have never Prayed for and then you will know that Someone is somewhere Praying for you.

So the Counsellors will collect the information that I needed.

But before you go; I want you to be Part of the Prayer that I want to Pray for everybody – So, stay where you are for now.

The rest of us – If you believe that today is your day; Stand on your feet and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

I just want to open the Windows of Heavens for you and after that, you will be asking God for a Dedication Miracle – A Miracle that you will never forget!

CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I just want to say Thank You.

Thank You very, very much for this Special Day; and Thank You for making it Possible for me to be here.

Lord, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Daddy, all that I am asking for is that on this Special Day; whatever these Your Children will ask, even before the Sun will Set today, let it be a Testimony.

Anything that they may ask for – Whether it is Healing or Deliverance or Fruitfulness or Joy or Victory; whatever they ask, give it to them this very Day.

And if there is anything they ought to ask for and they forger to ask for; Father give it to them all the same.

Don’t let any of us forget today.
